Mucha gente no entiende la razón por la que prefiero Helluva boss antes que Hazbin o otras séries, pero aquí les tengo la razón por la que yo y probablemente elegimos Helluva antes que otra cosa:
La razón es muy simple, todo el mundo, pero absolutamente todo el mundo tiene por lo menos alguna serie o película que sea como su escape, como que cuando la ve se sienta que está en su zona de confort, en un lugar a donde puede ser raro y nadie lo va a juzgar. Se que helluva boss es una serie que tiene cosas que no son muy agradables para todo tipo de publico como demonios,muerte, drogas, sexo y esas cosas pero no solo Helluva Boss se trata de eso, sino que también es una serie a dónde muchos de los personajes tienen situaciones en las que las personas se pueden identificar, personajes a los cuales la gente puede verlos y decír: Hay alguien como yo o hay alguien que está pasando por la misma situacion que yo, y aunque sea ficticio, hay muchas personas en este mundo que pasan por esas cosas. Yo en lo personal me identifico con Blitzø, y no solo por su personalidad, si no también porqué el siempre tiene ese pensamiento de que arruinó todo y que todos lo odian por eso, que no sirve para nada más que arruinar la vida de los demás y que morirá solo, eso es algo que también me pasa, también tengo esos pensamientos y me siento identificado con el por eso. Otro personaje con quién me identifico es Fizzarolli, ya que el siente la necesidad de ser perfecto solamente porque Mammon le dice que si no es de esa forma los demás ya no lo amaran y el solamente quiere ser importante y no quieren terminar siendo nada, yo me siento igual, ya que mi madre siempre me hace pensar que soy nada y esas cosas. Pero mi verdadero punto es, que no importa que tan mal se vea, es el puto infierno, que esperaban? Lo que realmente importa es como se sienten las personas con los personajes o las situaciones y como estás se identifican, no digo que todo el mundo piense de esta forma, solamente estoy dando mi opinión y compartiendo mi pensamiento de porqué siempre que me ponen a Helluva Boss y otro serie o película al lado, siempre elegire a Helluva.

The reason is very simple, everyone, but absolutely everyone has at least some series or movie that is like their escape, like when they watch it they feel like they are in their comfort zone, in a place where they can go, be weird and no one is going to judge you. I know that helluva boss is a series that has things that are not very pleasant for all types of audiences such as demons, death, drugs, sex and things like that, but not only is Helluva Boss about that, but it is also a series where many of the characters have situations in which people can identify, characters in which people can see them and say: There is someone like me or there is someone who is going through the same situation as me, and although it is fictional, there are many people In this world they go through those things. Personally, I identify with Blitzø, and not only because of his personality, but also because he always has that thought that he ruined everything and that everyone hates him for that, that he serves no purpose other than ruining the lives of others, and that he will die alone, that is something that also happens to me, I also have those thoughts and I feel identified with him because of that. Another character with whom I identify is Fizzarolli, since he feels the need to be perfect only because Mammon tells him that if it is not that way, others will no longer love him and he only wants to be important and they do not want to end up being anything, I I feel the same way, since my mother always makes me think I'm nothing and stuff. But my real point is, no matter how bad it looks, it's fucking hell, what did you expect? What really matters is how people feel about the characters or situations and how they identify, I'm not saying that everyone thinks this way, I'm just giving my opinion and sharing my thoughts on why they always put Helluva on me and another series or movie next to it, I will always choose Helluva.

hiiiii i wanna ask about delphene!! i have some general character building things i'm curious about! sorry if you've talked about it before and i missed it! what's her favourite colour? does she have a favourite perfume? would she prefer to go to an open field full of flowers, the ocean and beach, or a bustling city? what's her favourite animal - and does she relate to an animal? has she ever had pets - does she want pets? does she want a funeral - to be buried or cremated? ok that's it :D !! <3
oh thank you for the ask <3 i love talking about my short queen. every answers are pre-abduction as i have yet to play a full run with delphene and despite knowing how the game goes in general, i still need to work on how it will affect who delphene is.
surprisingly despite her hair (an accident) or her pendant made of the forgotten realms equivalent of charoite, her favorite color isn't purple but blue-green, the type you can find on chrysoscolla. why? because her grandmother was a pro at cutting and sculpting cameo this mineral.
delphene can't quite shake the perfume of her ex-fiancée from her system, which was a fresh citrus perfume with mandarin scents, very subtle, but which made her heady. delphene herself used to buy more floral perfumes, a bit heavier too, giving warm and cosy vibes, with iris or mimosa scents. she often changed between two or three perfumes, never settled on one. but that was before leaving baldur's gate, she doesn't use perfume anymore, a clean neutral scent is more than enough on the road.
she's a city girl, member of the jewellers' and merchants' guilds, baldur's gate is the only home she has ever known before and that's where she is the most confortable, but now after having seen more of the realms, she loves being near water, there's something calming for her about contemplating the vastness of water.
she doesn't really relate to any kind of animal, she likes animals like most people, but doesn't really have a favorite and if she has to give an answer she'll probably say "dog, i guess". she's a bit more weary of tentacles thingies now, to be honest. she never had pets before scratch and the owlbear (there were some cats coming and going within her familiy's shop but she never took an interest to try and keep them, they were like curious customers who end up not buying anything like many others, except they jumped and napped on the display cases), so she was a bit surprised about how you could get attached to an animal so quickly.
she never really thought about death before leaving baldur's gate, that was not in her mind at all and i think she figured her body will be put to rest in her family vault in a stone sarcophaphus put in the wall, maybe if she was lucky she'd get to be put not far from her grandma. now it's different. because she's persuaded she's going to die once she'll claim back her ancestors land and her patron will claim her soul for good. she wants to die a hero, an inspiration for the other dwarves who got kicked out from their lands thousands years ago by the gobblins. she hopes, when tales of her exploits will reach the city to be buried by her people under the lands she'd have freed, with a cairn the only indication of the duty she accomplished for her people.

I just wanted to write something about him, I miss Kisaki and I would love to hug the light pole with legs, BUT THIS IS SHORT ASF 😭😭
Why?
"why?" Is the only question that goes through your mind, why you? Of all the people he could have...he chose you, you were a very insecure person and he...is Hanma, he lives on the edge, he doesn't care about anyone, for some reason he ended up attracted to you, he saw you fight, go on your own, lonely and proud, with a strong character but calm, you two started talking and he even wanted to fight you to see how strong you were, spoiler: you kicked his ass. When you were together you felt calm with the presence of the other, but you had fun being a pain in the ass for everyone and screwing up the day of others, in addition to breaking the teeth of members of other gangs.
You and Kisaki were the only ones who made him feel alive. Until the accident happened...your boyfriend was devastated, he was locked up for months, he didn't go out, he didn't eat, he drowned in tears when night came...it was something you couldn't stand, but over time you were able to help him get over it, he came back to be the idiot and clown boy you fell in love with, his jokes and his hyena laugh was the most viable way to endure the pain, all thanks to you, one night, 2008, you were sleeping peacefully, hugging your boyfriend, who rested his head on your chest and with his arms around your waist.
You began to hear sobs and notice your shirt and soon your chest wet from Shuji's tears, you separated a little, grabbing his face with both hands by his cheeks and speaking softly to wake him up.
"Shuji, baby, baby wake up."
He opened his eyes, separating and raising his body by natural reaction to fear, grabbing the sheets with tears in his eyes, letting out a loud "No!", you quickly hugged him worried.
"Shuji! Relax i'm here, breathe please." You were worried, you knew what he was dreaming, you knew who he had dreamed of, he hugged you back trying to breathe... from his mouth only a name "Kisaki" came out, you kissed him, hugged him, comforted him, his breathing calmed down, he was clinging to you, still with his heart almost coming out of his chest from how fast and strong it was beating, the tears stopped and he told you what he saw in the dream.
"Again...I watched him die again."
"I know my love and I'm so sorry, I'm here and always will be, it's inevitable that I'll come back to your mind but I'll help you get over it. I don't want to see my baby cry or have a bad time, I'm here and I love u Shuji." He always thought about it and he really continues to think about it, he is very lucky to have you with him, you give him peace and you have loved him unselfishly, you are the only person who has loved him and he feels SO lucky.
Hanma smiled, kissing you, a very slow kiss full of love, hugging you and laying next to you on the bed, "I love you Y/N... even though you're a pain in the ass sometimes~" He laughed as you hit him on the shoulder.
"Idiot."
"Hehe, your idiot~"

Early seasons!Dean keeps meeting Cas at the most random moments, till he isn’t anymore... Definetly a must read.
In the shadow of your wings
Set after the S11 finale. Dean kinda breaks Cas’ heart. Because sometimes he can be thick SOB. The Cas finds a new shiny and witty italian boyfriend and Dean’s not happy about it. and now Sam is missing, Mary is back and Dean has a mixed bag of feelings he has to deal with. Probably my favorite canonverse ever.
Like moses and batman and James Dean dean used to turn tricks. over a decade later, he met cas.
A masterpiece in characterization by saltyfeathers. I loved everything, The dialogues, the flashbacks, the way Dean and Cas emotions are portrayed. There’s angst and internalized homophobia but also confort and IT IS JUST SO GOOD OK?
The best bang for your buck It’s not like Castiel knows who this GotImpala67 person is. There’s no personal information listed on their profile. Except that they’re male, thirty-seven, from Kansas and, apparently, they like inserting things inside themselves.
Cas plays dumb even tho he really is not and I love him for it. Dean is the kind of buyer who leaves detailed reviews of the products he buys (which is the best kind if you ask me) I love the writer’s style and their sense of humor. It’s short although I never get tired of re-reading this one. Also Bring up the deep & Till the juice runs from the same author are with mentioning.

But Dean – Dean who named his car, who keeps a photograph of his mother in his wallet, some thirty-plus years after her death, who still has the crumpled ‘Do Not Disturb’ sign with a sleeping pelican emblazoned on it from the Microtel outside of Roanoke where he first kissed Castiel, clumsy and unsure, under the unsteady fluorescence of an exhausted bathroom bulb – is sentimental. it puzzles Castiel, where Dean draws the line between what is meaningful and what it is worthless.

Along my restless palms Ever since Cas started staying in the bunker, Dean’s been having these crazy dreams—dreams that feature him and Cas in absurd, tawdry scenarios like something out of a filthy paperback. Dean chalks it up to exhaustion, or some monster messing with his head, anything to ignore the real cause: Cas in his personal space, in various states of undress, and, wow, way more muscular than Dean would’ve expected. But if it’s just physical lust that’s the cause, then that’s an easy fix, right? No big deal. There’s definitely nothing else that his subconscious is trying to tell him. Absolutely not.
last but not least Pretty much anything by xylodemon. The atmosphere and the way characters are portrayed are *chef kiss* There are a lor of case fics and they really feels like actual episodes from supernatural just way less omophobic and more fun.

Tedromeda fanfics
As time goes by I start to think this is the relationship I am more curious about in the whole HP universe. Ted Tonks is the Hufflepuff whose love and patience won Andromeda’s heart. Andromeda is the Black that got away and, despite the hardships, had a full and happy life. Teddy is her shining star, her beacon, in the end.
Tedromeda is one of the best love stories in canon. And yes, for fancast I really like Keira Knightley and James McAvoy for Andy x Ted.

The thing I like the most in this love story is how support characters are developed and their stories intertwined with the two main characters - Andy and Ted. It’s a comforting love story, I am enjoying a lot reading it.

-Cronus was met by Yuu and their friends during the Octavinelle arc, at first he found Ace's, Deuce's, Grim's and the others Azul's victims situation funny 'cause he think those who are stupid enough to make deals with Azul just got what they deserve, but when Azul got things too far Cronus became an ally with Yuu to set the record straight with his dorm leader and help the group and the leech twins to fight Azul when he overbloted.
-Kurloz met Yuu and their friends during the Savanaclaw arc, was at first a bit hostile toward then 'cause he didn't like they suspected his dorm to try to sabotage the others dorm to win the school's magical shift tournament, but when it was revealed that Leona was indeed trying to cheat, Kurloz was not happy and helped Yuu and the others to fight overblot Leona.
-Horuss met Yuu and their friends during the Happy Bean day, he helped to design and create the beans guns and participate in the event on team monster.
-Aranea met Yuu and the others during the Halloween event, she was visiting NRC for halloween and to see Cronus, Horuss and Kurloz.
-Despite being a very good student Cronus is also quite a trouble maker who like to mess and flirt with the others students.
-Kurloz and Leona are childhood friends due to Leona's parents often asking for Jael's and Mama Makara's services in magic and potion in the past, Leona see Jael as one of his, even his most, trusted friend but due to his pride he don't like to show it.
-Horuss doesn't fall in the "Ignihyde student" archetype, he is in fact the most social and cheerfull student from the dorm.(Ortho don't count since he isn't a official student)
-Unlike her mother who was a troublemaker when she was a student at her school, Araena is more a model student who was more focus on her studies much to her teachers's relief.
-Cronus is a romantic and love flirting with anyone who's catch is interest boys and girls alike, he flirt often with the others students, he also like play flirting with Cater who is his best buddy from the light music club.
-With his strengh and his powerfull magic, people are surprised Kurloz isn't the dorm leader of Savanaclaw, that because while he can became the leader if he wanted, Kurloz is not interested by the posotion but also prefer letting it to Leona 'cause he think he deserve the position and that it would help him with his self esteem issues.
-Horuss absolutly love horses and by so his favorite period of the day is when he go to the horse ridding club, he is also an excelent horse rider.
-Araena is pasionated by litterature and history, she spend most of her time in the school's library when not in class and her favorite sudject is history.
-Cronus’s number one hobby is music, he love play with his guitar and sing and he is even creating his own music and songs.
-Kurloz is selective mute, he doesn’t feel confortable to speak he only does it when he must like when he is in class and prefer communicate with signs language, plus in situations in which someone really pissed him off he tend to speak in anger which is a sign for said person that he REALLY fucked up this time.
-Horuss is a genius in magic science, due to his level in the subject he is the one who’s called to help when there a science/magic science problem in the school.
-althrough she’s most of the time a nice and pleasant person, push Aranea’s buttons too and you will see she’s indeed her mother’s daughter.
-Cronus’s shenanigans are in reality a way for him to hide he hate himself, due to being from an unknow specie in TW, himself knowing nothingabout what he is and by so being very diferent give to Cronus a deep disgust of himself and give him a unhealty obsession to become more “fae like” to the point of having dangerous temptations like mutilating his ears fins to shape them like fae ears. This self hate will get bad to the point Cronus will end up overbloting.(Headcanons part about it in the future! ;) )
-Kurloz love spicy food, the more spicy the dish is, the more he love it.
-Horuss is super strong like his father.
-Unlike what many people believe Araena don’t plan on succeding to her mother as the next captain of the Sea Heart, in fact her dream is to become a writer and to ope her own library.
-Cronus’s relationship with his father is not bad, Oberon is very strict with him and is exasperated he don’t take his studies more seriously but that it.
-Kurloz had a very good relationship with his father, Jael is a good father who deeply love his two sons.
-Horuss and his dad have a good relationship, despite not showing his emotions very much, Pholos love and care about his sons.
-Aranea’s relationship with her mother is... complicated! She lover her mother and Topaz lover her daughter but being mostly see as “captain Topaz’s daughter” and being expected to become a pirate just like her mother make Aranea very uncomfortable, which bring some complications in her relationship with her mother.

Okay, tell me more about Cream twins partners. How each couple met? How they end up together? Any fun cute facts? SPAM ME WITH INFORMATION! 🌸🌺🌸🌺🌸
Ooo! Yay! @kotikaleo this is a good ask.
Before I begin I want to make sure to clarify that both Crayon and Cindy were created by the wonderful @thebluescreen so credit for the characters go to them. (we share 3 ship kids universes)
And once again I wanna say : Disclaimer, This Celest and Luna are the children of Cross and Dream. NOT Cross and Shattered Dream. They are a alternate universe version of the Dark cream twins. They should not be confused as being the same.
I'm gonna start with Celest and her husband Crayon.
These two first met when Celest was 11 and Crayon was 12. For them it was basicly love at first sight. Celest and Luna both grew up travelling around the multiverse and that's how the met.
Crayon is a half human half monster who originally came from a dust tale time line. But more about him will come from @thebluescreen
It was an awkward, inconvenient first encounter. Luna had just broken her leg trying to do a back flip off a table (she was a dumb kid) and Celest (who had been learning first aid from a book) attempted to set it. And she made it a whole lot worse. (cross and dream weren't there at the time, they had left them alone for 10 minutes)
Crayon and his friend went over to help luna. The stress of the situation caused celest to throw up a large amount of gloop and then loose her strength in her legs and fall over. Crayon was close enough to her to catch her as she fell and gently lowered her to the ground. They locked eyes and well, they had basically been crushing on eachother since then.
It took Luna locking them in a room together and refusing to let them out till they confessed to do the trick.
They got together when Celest was 15 and Crayon was 16.
The two were very much in love. The slightly over the top, sugary sweet, child hood sweethearts. Used a bunch of cheesey names.
"I love you my sugar sweet snuggle muffin"
"not as much as I love you my cookie cream cuddle bear"
And luna is just the awkward 3rd wheel.
OK so Luna was in a relationship with this monster called Daisy from the age of 16 to 20. Daisy was a bitch, but more on that below.
It was all good till Celest turned 18, she started to get soul pain. Up until this point her sickness had been bothersome, but not to serious.
But after seeing a soul doctor, she was informed that the curruption was starting to attack her soul, and there was a possibility that it would kill her. Of course her and her family were heart broken, crayon included.
Celest went through a stage of being unhappy. The idea that she could die terrorised her. She had nightmares and got stressed to the point of alot of puking fits.
Her main conforts where her sister and boyfriend.
"I just can't help thinking of everything I'll miss out on. Marriage, children...... Travelling the multiverse...... But at least I have you right?"
So crayon responded with.
"then let's get married"
Of course Celest was shocked and was sure she'd misheard him. But then he said.
"you said that you were afraid of missing out on it, but this way we won't! I want to marry you, if you'll have me."
Celest said.
"but we are both so young, you shouldn't have to carry my burden. You have a life to live"
He said
"I want to spend it with you"
And she said yes.
Yay.
They were married just under a year later and where very happy. Cross was alittle sad to see his princess grow up so fast. But in the end they were all happy.
Crayon is truly Celest's rock. He's very sweet and good to her. To him, she is the bright light in his life, with her kindness and smarts.
They normally spend there time curled up watching movies. Or taking trips to aus like outertale to look at stars. Its all very lovey dovey.
For Luna, love was never all that easy. As I said above her first girlfriend Daisy was a bitch.
Daisy was a emotionally horrible person to Luna. Constantly telling her things like, how she needs to summon ecto or she looks like a man. Or how bones just aren't that attractive. How that fact that she was so close to her sister was creepy. In the end it was revealed that she'd been cheating on Luna while Luna had been helping her sister in the hospital. Luna finally dumbed her.
Years passed and Luna would tell people that she was ok and over it. But in truth it left huge emotional scars. She started avoiding committed relationships like the plague.
Over the years she has had a few casual girlfriends, flings and hook ups. But she told people that long term wasn't her thing, Celest knew that wasn't true, but she couldn't force her sister to date someone. It all changed when she ment Cindy.
She meets Cindy when she's 27. Basically, she met Cindy through Crayon. Since Cindy was the best friend of Crayon's sister's boyfriend.
Cinder is a underlust Sansby child and is a girl who knows what she's got and flaunts it slightly. When Luna first saw her, she went into 'oh no she's hot' mode.
Infact this was there first interaction.
Cindy "hi, I'm Cinder. It's nice to meet you"
Luna *gay panic*
Luna "wanna see me do a back flip?"
Cindy "wa-
Luna trys to back flip and falls on her face.
Cindys "you ok there?" *offers hand to help her up*
Luna *takes her hand and is helped to her feet*
Luna *more 'omg she's touching me!' gay panic *
Luna "wanna see me do a back flip?"
So yeah, Luna is very gay.
The attraction was physical to start with. Luna was smitten to the strong, confident, sexy fire girl. Que Luna repeatedly doing stupid things to try and impress her.
The best way to sum it up would be.

Luckily for Luna though, Cindy starts to fall for the goofy cluts. Not only is Luna just a loveable idiot, but she is also quite attractive.
Cindy comes in one day while she's training and watches her spar with Cross and do a back flip successfully. She's a skilled fighter and is just as Good At Yoga as her dad is. So yeah, Luna is quite attractive to Cinder in her own right.
Cindy starts using alot of pet names for her, calling her Moony and Princess. This embarrasses Luna to no end.
So what happens? Well.
After Luna has once again fallen to the ground while trying inpress Cindy and is kind of laying there defeated. The following conversation happens.
Cindy "you need some help there Moony?"
Luna *blushes* "you know I'm gonna come up with an embarrassing nickname to call you, you know!"
Cindy "really Princess?"
Luna "yes! Uhhhhh Cinderella! Ha!"
Cindy "Cinderella? You think I've not been called that before"
Luna "dam it uh... I've got it! Toffee"
Cindy "Toffee"
Luna "yes, like Cinder toffee, and because you really like sweet foods and-
Cindy "and you could totally eat me?" *smirks*
Luna *without thinking* "yes absolutely"
Silence.
And my friend if you don't get the joke.... Its probably to mature for you. This basically causes Cinder to turn up the flirt on Luna, who is very embarrassed about saying that. To Cindy it has basically been confirmed that Luna wants her, and she's into that.
Luna freaks out *thank you gay panic* and yells "I'M STRAIGHT!" and runs away.
Luna then spends the next two days being consoled by her sister. Meanwhile Cindy asks around to find out if Luna is really straight. It is very quickly confirmed to her that Luna is very much gay and very much into her.
She conforts Luna about this and after Luna attmits that she is gay and is about to confess her crush, Cindy pins her to the wall and kisses her.
Long story short Luna gets to eat her and they go to bed together. And after that they become 'causal' girlfriends. It doesn't take to long for there feelings for eachother to evolve from a physical attraction into real love. But they would never confront their feelings.
Texting eachother till the early hours of the morning? just causal.
Inviting Cindy to family Christmas? just causal.
Laying in eachothers arms in bed, not wanting to get up. Just causal.
Who knows if they will ever confront how they really feel? Maybe some unfortunate life events will force them to.
Fun facts about the couples.
Cindy has a whole bunch of pet names for Luna, after they start dating she most commonly calls her Starlight. But has a whole list more
Crayon loves to buy his wife flowers. He's quite a soft man and I like to think he takes great care in picking out a bunch of flowers. He'll most commonly buy her roses. He also likes to prepare picnics so that they can go out to aus together.
Cindy has a huge sweet tooth. Luna has often tried to bake for her. Lu Lu isn't a very skilled Baker though. But if she presents Cindy with a plate of slightly burnt cupcakes splattered with icing, it will make Cinder's heart melt.
Crayon often has to help Celest get dressed in the mornings. Since the marks commonly appear on her arms and legs. Crayon has taken a very long time to practice how to help her dress without causing pain.
Some mornings, especially after they've had a busy night, Cinder will often steal Luna's shirt. She will wear it around the house. "but babe... That's my shirt"........... "I've got no idea what you're talking about Moony".
Celestial star would be the type to call her husband at work out of nowhere just to remind him that she loves him.
The first time they kissed, Celest got so nervous and excited that she threw up gloop all over him.
Cindy loves to roller skate and would attempt to teach Luna how to. After a long time of Luna falling over into many comprising positions, Cinder simply wraps her arms around her waist and they skate together.
Crayon is a half human-half monster, so he can practice some magic. One thing he likes to do is make little figures of butterflys fly around his wife's hospital room when she has to stay at the hospital. It always makes her day.

SHAKESPEARE AND THE PRETTY SPEECHES OF A KING

I was once watching Brows Held High review of Laurence Olivier’s Henry V (1944), where the reviewer, Kyle Kalgreen, analized how it faired in the context of British World War II Propaganda Machine, as a Shakespeare film adaptation and in comparison to the Kenneth Branagh 1989 Film Adaptation.
There is a moment he pauses to analyze the most popular speech of the play, wich is the Saint Crispin’s Day Speech:
What’s he that wishes so?
My cousin Westmoreland?
No, my fair cousin.
If we are marked to die, we are enough
To do our country loss; and if to live,
The fewer men, the greater share of honor.
God’s will, I pray thee wish not one man more.
By Jove, I am not covetous for gold
Nor care I who doth feed upon my cost;
It yearns me not if men my garments wear;
Such outward things dwell not in my desires.
But if it be a sin to covet honor,
I am the most offending soul alive.
No, faith, my coz, wish not a man from England.
God’s peace, I would not lose so great an honor
As one man more, methinks, would share from me,
For the best hope I have.
Oh, do not wish one more!
Rather proclaim it,
Westmoreland, through my host,

Beautifull. Powerfull. Lie.
Because, as Kyle Kalgreen apoints, while the Laurence Olivier had to cut it to make Henry V more simpathetic, the original Shakespeare text and the Kenneth Branagh Film Adaptation have this scene following the Saint Crispin’s day speech, where the young king reads a list of the english man who died in battle:
Edward the duke of York, the earl of Suffolk,
Sir Richard Ketly, Davy Gam, esquire;
None else of name, and of all other men
But five and twenty. O God, thy arm was here,
And not to us but to thy arm alone
Ascribe we all! When, without stratagem,
But in plain shock and even play of battle,
Was ever known so great and little loss
On one part and on th' other?
Take it, God,For it is none but thine.
(William Shakespeare, Henry V: Act IV, Scene VIII)
The death nobleman are named, while the death common soldier is just ‘None else of name’. The death nobleman is ‘so great loss’. The death common soldier is ‘so little loss’. Contrary to what King Henry V promissed, not everybody who died fighting on his name in France will be considered his brother, remembered and mourned by him.
And them later, we watch the consequences of the reign of his son in the Henry VI trilogy of plays, and in Henry VI Part III, our new protagonist gives this beautifull speech about the blessing of a commoner’s life while sitting over a molehill:
This battle fares like to the morning’s war,
When dying clouds contend with growing light,
What time the shepherd, blowing of his nails,
Can neither call it perfect day nor night.
Now sways it this way, like a mighty sea
Forced by the tide to combat with the wind;
Now sways it that way, like the selfsame sea
Forced to retire by fury of the wind:
Sometime the flood prevails, and then the wind;
Now one the better, then another best;
Both tugging to be victors, breast to breast,
Yet neither conqueror nor conquered:
So is the equal of this fell war.
Here on this molehill will I sit me down.
To whom God will, there be the victory!

Have chid me from the battle; swearing both

Also a beautifull and powerfull speech, if a bit revealing of a romanticized view of the poverty that Henry VI never lived. And also a lie, or, at least, a half truth for Henry VI himself.
By contrast to the Molehill Speech, here is the dialogue exchange between him and two keepers, in the next act:
Second Keeper
Say, what art thou that talk'st of kings and queens?
Henry VI
More than I seem, and less than I was born to:
A man at least, for less I should not be;
And men may talk of kings, and why not I?
Second Keeper
Ay, but thou talk'st as if thou wert a king.
Henry VI
Why, so I am, in mind; and that's enough.
Second Keeper
But, if thou be a king, where is thy crown?
Henry VI
My crown is in my heart, not on my head;
Not decked with diamonds and Indian stones,
Nor to be seen: my crown is called content:
A crown it is that seldom kings enjoy.
Second Keeper
Well, if you be a king crown'd with content,
Your crown content and you must be contented
To go along with us; for as we think,
You are the king King Edward hath deposed;
And we his subjects sworn in all allegiance
Will apprehend you as his enemy.
Henry VI

(William Shakespeare. Henry VI Part III: Act III, Scene I)
We can perceive here a condescending tone that King Henry VI has when he talks with two members of the people. He is surprised to see that they don’t believe in a divine right that gives him a “natural kingly aura”. They don’t see him as a superior, wise and benevolent saviour, but only as a man who once weared a crown, but now, without the crown, they don’t have any obligation to obey him.
And Henry VI can’t accept that.
Later, he is rescued by Clifford, Warwick and Clarence from imprisoment under King Edward IV’s rule. And when those three man offer him back the crown and title of king, he don’t refuse it to live the simple commoner life he described as more beautifull in the Molehill Speech. He accepts it. Even if he intends to let the actual work of ruling to Warwick, Clarence and Queen Margaret, he still wants the sense of superiority, the privileges and the confortable life offered by the title of king that he grew accustomed to since he was nine months old.
By justaposing those speeches and scenes, Shakespeare pulls us of the rug in our view of those two characters, who want the people to believe they are good, heroic and chivalrous kings, anointed by God himself, when in reality what anoints them is their money and their armies.
Intentionally or not, with those plays, Shakespeare was at the same being a precursor and subvertor of the Relatable Royal Trope, showing that those people with the title of kings are like us... but not really.
They feel sadness, fear, anger, love, envy and jealousie like us, but they are more rich, powerfull and privileged then us.And they don’t really want to renounce that power, because it will take away their sense of being superior to us.
To paraphrase Kyle Kalgreen:
Beware pretty speeches

What Should’ve been: A resume for my episodes 19 and 20
I may write and put it on AO3 but I needed to get the plot points out of my head first.
Episode 19
- Same first scene where Dean tells Sam and Jack what happened to Cas.
- Jack praying to Cas as it was.
- Sam and Dean convo and reaction to Jack's new power.
- They talk to Jack about it and actually Confort him bc he. Is. A. Kid.
- Same conversation with Chuck.
- Time passes. Sam and Dean are show with their terrible coping skills.
- Jack senses a presence.
- They meet Michael at the Church; He agrees to help.
- Michael tries to open the book; It doesn't work.
- Brother moment where Sam talks about Eileen and Dean talks about what Cas did for him and how guilty he feels.They confort each other.
[No Lucifer. The show passed the need for Lucifer]
- Convo between Michael and Jack; Michael senses Jack's powers and talks about how he's nothing like his sperm donor, Lucifer; Jack says Michael is very different from the AU one; Michael says it's because of Adam that he learned to love and understand humanity.
- They both try to open the book and it works; Same scene of Sam talking about a spell. [because, y’a know, God is watching]
- Confront with Chuck; The spell doesn't work; Jack is throw back; Michael steps in and reaffirms his position to protect humanity; Chuck defeats him but doesn't kill.
- Same scene of Sam and Dean getting beat up but still standing. [That was good]
- Jack pulls an Avatar with Chuck and turns him human.
- The boys saying they're not killers and that Chuck will live and die like any other person.
[No flashback to explain resolution. This is not CSI]
- Jack brings everyone back; Shots of the characters that vanished in 18.
[Not hard to do even in Covid world just use the same shot from 18 from a different angle I know they have]
- Adam is show to have returned to his body.
- Sam questions Jack about Amara; He says she's with him and when everything is fixed in heaven they'll split again but balance will be mantained.
[Because they are individuals and deserve to be independent of each other]
- Dean questions if Jack will go back home with them; Jack says it will take a little while before he can return home; He states Michael will help him reestructure Heaven.
- Eileen calls Sam; He backs away to answer.
- Dean asks Jack to bring Cas back; Jack says he can't interfere with the Empty's domain directly but Dean can. Jack says for Dean to go home and wait in the room Cas was taken.
- Sam returns to the scene; They say goodbaye and thanks to Michael and Adam; They hug Jack and they both disappear.
- Cut to the bunker. Dean kept miracle and it’s been days since Jack left. Sam and Eileen are shown together while Dean keeps waiting in the dungeon.
- Sam reassures him they’ll get Cas back; They share a beer by the table in the Library. [End of Episode]
EPISODE 20
- Opening with Dean and Miracle; Sam doing laundry, etc.
- Dean piling up book after book to find something to help Cas; Sam is concerned and tries to talk Dean in working on a case Donna called them for.
- Dean says he doesn’t feel free bc Cas is dead bc of him; Says he even went to hell for Rowena’s help but she couldn’t do anything either. Sam says Jack will come through with his promise and the least they can do is help someone rn. Dean finally agrees.
- People are disappering without a trace.
- They follow one that seems sketchy to a barn where are people dressed in black, their faces covered in black goo. It’s the Empty controlling vessels.
- Sam and Dean are discovered. They try to fight but it’s in vain. The Empty taunts Dean about Cas, saying he’s suffering bc of him.
- A blinding light cuts the darkness. It’s Jack, acompanied by two angels; The black goo vanishes and Jack transports them back to the bunker, in the dungeon.
- They question him and Jack explains that they needed to summon the Shadow away from it’s domain so it would get weaker; He says Michael and Amara are holding the Shadow as long as they can.
- Jack says it will be dangerous but he can get them in; They agree in silent looks.
- The Empty is loud; Without the Shadow, angels and demons are screaming in agony, some awake, some not.
- Dean calls for Cas as Jack focuses to find him; They find Castiel but he’s still asleep, relieving his regrets.
- Dean asks if Jack can wake him; Jack explains that, given his new role, he’s interfering too much alredy; It has to be Dean.
- Angels and demons start to rise up; Jack puts a barrier to stop them but he gets weaker by the minute; He creates a gun and handles to Sam.
- The bullets are made of angel blades. It’ll keep them away for a time like salt keeps away ghosts.
- Jack touches Dean and Cas’ foreheads and links Dean to Castiel’s subconcious.
- Dean can see his worst memories: the times he let them down, his betrayal, the lobotomies, etc.
- He finds Cas chained, much like Dean in Hell; Cas doen’t believe it’s him. Dean says he’s real. They are real.
- Shot of Sam shooting some people; The Shadow comes back and threatens them.
- Dean’s confession ensues. [everything i could write it now wouldn’t do it justice]
- Shot of their hands clasped; Dean pulls him out of the chains.
- They awake and Jack zaps them away before the Shadow can strike; Back to the bunker, Dean and Cas are still holding hands.
- Jack says the Empty will never stop coming after Cas and gives him the choice to become human.
- Cas says nothing and Dean backs away. Sam hugs Cas.
- Convo between Cas and Jack; Cas says he doesn’t want Jack to be alone. Jack says he never will be and that Cas is needed more on earth than heaven - cuts to Dean- Cas nods and hugs Jack.
- One last scene between Jack and his dads; He says Amara and Michael are running Heaven pretty well and that all souls are now together in a new eternety, free of ilusion. Jack says he will pop in from time to time to see them.
- Jack leaves; Dean asks Cas why he didn’t go too. Cas said that Jack told him he was needed here. Was Jack wrong? Dean just hugs him.
- Fast foward to Sam and Eileen saying goodbye to Dean and Cas.
- Jack monologuing about his family; shots of Sam and Eileen leading the new Men of Letters; Their kids running around in the bunker, carving their names on the table too. [a boy and a girl bc Sam deserves to have a cute little girl]
- Dean and Cas (now human) running a bar where hunters pass by, living their best lives.
- Jack saying family doesn’t end in blood but it doesn’t start there either; Shots of their extended family: Jody, Donna, the wayward girls, Charlie, Rowena, etc. Even past characters for dramatic intent.
- Ending shot of the sunset as the impala drives away.

but gawd. do i love to talk about it.
let’s get to it.
i don’t have much to say about game mechanics mostly because tis not me Area of Expertise, and i am actually quite a fan of the landscapes/sceneries (mostly of TEW because it’s what marked me the most/i’ve known for the longest, but TEW2 has some very cool settings, even if i think the distortion/twistedness aspect of Union could have been expploited a bit more) but i am unfortunately a connaisseur of characters, to my greatest chagrin.
1. Juli deserved a better outfit and that’s just the hill i’m going to die on. YES i had my jaw-drop moment when she kicked a haunted’s brain out of his skull with her heel YES this made me love her so much but high heels are just not practical in her setting, especially since she’s supposed to be like you know a cop who assists detectives. supposed to be hyper-mobile and with confortable shoes i’m not asking her to have combat boots maybe a bit but at least security shoes… when you get stuck in a shootout you better be able to run for your life at least and not risk a sprained ankle or worst. also the visible bra under her shirt…. not needed. if you’re going to give me a woman with see-through clothes give me a men as well. its_equality.gif
2. it pains me to say it but… the villains deserved better backstories/motives. not much Ruvik, like Enough Of This Dude (even if maybe he could’ve gotten a better outfit like son what is it…. what is THIS bro), but i felt like Stefano and Theodore fell a bit flat. i’m thinking especially stefano, because he has everything of the male artist so in love with himself and so misogynistic he bases his art around the torture of women (i’m thinking the red curtains “sculpture”, i’m thinking Obscura which is literally women he cut up and sewed up together to make them his own personal little pet/assistant, i’m thinking The Guardian which is also a bunch of women he cut up and stuck together, like the deeply sexist, deeply fetishistic violence of it all…) you could’ve made him an interesting villain with more of a backstory you feel. so far he just kinda smells incel-y, which would have made SUCH an incredible, factually unredeemable villain if a bit more thought was put into it… god. also theodore was straight up flat lile son i’m sorry but you’re a bit hollow… his world/introduction straight up slap but as a character he’s lacking a bit of spice… a bit of pizzazz if you will.
3. i love these horrendous games for what they are but, with wanting too much to be a chimera of Resident Evil and Silent Hill, they ended up… not being any, and not in a “it’s really its own thing!!!” way. as an individual with lots of thoughts and many tendencies, i would have loved loved LOVED it if it was… just ever so slightly more on the psychological horror side. if more things were… hidden, in unnerving, twisted ways. if some monsters never were quite revealed but still followed you… on that note, so many cool things could have been done with Reborn Laura… like a monster created by a hurt brother of his dead sister whose passing he never quite got over? imagine the possibility… imagine if this laura got a voice of her own, if she started behaving and thinking of her own accord, against everything her “creator” wanted/made her to be… do you see what i see???

Garden
Let's put this in their second year, because we all know they are school sweethearts
It was sunday and spring just started which means Neville will be there to see his beautiful flowers grow
He dressed fast and eated faster and if Harry wasn't staring at Draco he would be suprised of why is he hurrying so much
But Hermione explained him (because she is good friend and remembers when her firends talks about something they love) as she continued reading book
And so he made it to green house just in time and oh god he could already see small flowers growing! Spring is-
There was anoder boy, at his flowers, smelling them and talking to them- what is going on?
,,Umm sorry uh.. who are you?"
,,Theodore Nott"
He was Slytherin, he heard about him
He was different from other Slytherins Neville met, he was much more caring than other Slytherins, he heard about him because kids weren't so nice so they talked behinde his backs mean stuff about "how he could be Slytherin when he should be Hufflepuff!" and other mean things he doesn't even want to remember
And that boy- Theodore made him feel.. weird
He had small curls at end of his hair, like really small, he smiled to him- he also had most beautiful smile ever and his eyes, god his eyes
,,I am sorry I just wanted to see these flowers-" he started to explain himself and why he is here but just stopped, ,,I am sorry, I will leave if I am making toruble"
He apologised and wanted to leave but Neville couldn't let him leave
,,No! Uh I mean, no you can stay, I mean I have nothing against you here because this is school's and everybody is welcome- I am sorry, I am talking to much"
And Theodore laughed and Neville felt like he could die instantly, his laugh was soo cute that it made Neville blush and amile softly
,,How is this plant called?"
,,Leaping Toadstools"
,,Oh and that?!"

,,And that! What's that? It looks soo beautiful!"
,,Uhh it's just Narcissus."
,,Oh.."
Neville just couldn't help but smile/blush whole time Theodore was asking him
And from that moment they just somehow started to hang more and more, it just happened
It started as hang outs in green house and then as learning sessions, walking around halls together and even eating together
Sometimes if day was bad other would take food from great hall for both and would sit on wall eating silently enjoying each others company
They became inseaprable
And finally in 4th year Neville got courage to ask him out
Both never realised they were falling in love but they were, hard
Theo blushed hard when Neville (finally) asked him out
And Neville was so stupid because he thought Theo would reject him- quoting Theo Nott's words!
On their first date Neville was a little late and he got good reason, he was picking narcissa's for Theo because now Neville made plan, from now on till rest of his life he will give Theo one narcissa after he got from work (not that he was so madly in love that he was already planing marrying Theo and spending rest of his life with him, certanly not!)
Theo blushed when Neville explained why he was late
But loved Neville even more because of how caring and sweet person he is
And so they dated, at first it was awkward for both because they were also each other's best friends but what they felt wasn't friendly, it was more than friendly feelings
They were school sweethearts, both socialy awkward to show it in public but alone they couldn't get enough of each other
And then everything started
(Theo for every Neville's birthday sended him present and one narcissus in sign of love)
Dark Lord is back.
Death Eaters were called and Neville not knowing Theo's family were Death Eaters, talked about how he joined Dumbledore's Amry and he should too! He praised everything against Dark Lord and Theo agreed , he hated Dark Lord and loved his family
Neville was always caring boyfriend and he will stay one forever, but it was just he never noticed Theo being off, he never noticed Theo being forced into being Death Eater
And so war started and everybody had their side; one heart broken in two peices, both good but teared into something more than themselves
But Theo decided he couldn't do it
So he ran and ran and ran
He run to try to find Neville, he wanted him, needed his soft hugs, softer kisses and his calming voice telling him everything's gonna be fine
He found him just before fight started, Neville was preparing for fight all tensed
He noticed Theo and he wanted nothing more than run to him and give him biggest hug ever, but he can't, he couldn't
He ignored him and Theo's poor heart broken every time more and more until he screamed on top of his lungs at Neville making him listen
He explained that he (and Draco, Blaise and Pansy and half of Slytherins) were forced into becoming Death Eaters because of their pureblood families, he apologised for not telling him, for just running away from him, for everything he could
And Neville kissed him hard and pssionate- he never kissed him like this unless they were having small make out sessions-
That was last time Theo saw him (he had to defent Hogwarts) and so did Theo, this was his true home
He stood next to Draco and Blaise looking at Harry's dead face and crazy lunatic of wizard being happy over finally killing a teenager
Draco screamed on top of his lungs when he saw Harry's dead body in Hagrids amrs
They all fought together, side by side
They all sat down in circle next to each other cuddiling still in shock
He was in Neville's conforting arms, everything was already better
(everyone spend their summer in Grimudal place taking care of each other, it was better with company)
Eight year came and every student got job help rebuilding Hogwarts
Neville got to rebuild Green house with Theo and planting plants, drawing on pots, cleaning mess and making new furniture for Green house was Neville's best dream ever and he wish never to wake up
,,Neville, look! Narcissus are growing, who planted them?"
,,I did- uh that's our flower so I had to, you know plant that one too ove-" he was cut off by Theo kisssig him with biggest smile on his face

It was hot summer day, it just fited for late July weather. In early morning was still cold and little foggy but at 12 it already started to brun, afternoon was kind of better but only from 5 and then night falls and it was once more colder.
Neville was just sitting on ground in garden, it was around 6pm and he was enjoying in shade that house made while slight wind was making perfect shade for Neville to take care of his plants.
It was late July, to be more precise it was 30th of July Neville's birthday. Whole day owls were just flying in and out of their house bringing birthday cards sending him best wishes, much love and even more happines and of course teasing how old he is now. All of them made him happy and he loved every single one of his friends, he was luckiest man alive to have such great friends and even better husband- Theodore Nott, oops Theodore Longbottom.
Today Neville got to sleep late in morning, to be precise he woke up at 10am and there was already over 20 letters waiting for him to be opened. But also there was no sight of his husband, actually his husband went missing for whole day but Neville was sure he's doing something very important so he didn't want to bother but also that meant he would have whole day for himself to relax and enjoy on his birthday.
So he did. Whole day he waited for weather to cold down so he could go out and take care of his beautiful and big garden. And it finally cold down, it was perfect time to garden and drink tea or some cold drink in garden. So he made himself a cup of tea and put on table on balcony they had to cold down a little while he took his tools for garden and went in garden.
,,There you are!" Soon enough Neville heard so fimiliar voice behind him and he recognised it the second he heard his voice.
,,Oh there you are! I was now a little worried where are you whole day." Neville confessed as he was about to stand up to greet his husband but it was too late, Theo already kneeld down to kiss his beloved husband.
,,Yeah well I was searching for something special and it's of course for you." Theo said slightly moving away from Neville's comfrotable pressence to get what was in bag, ,,Here you go, new plant book! I knew yoy were searching for this for a long time and well I kinda pulled few strings to get it," Theo confessed and laughed to himself a little and he continued, ,,and how would this be your birthday without these," Theo suddenly pulled from his back beautiful white flowers; narcissus. ,,happy birthday love." Theo wished to Neville as he pulled him from kiss and smiled softly while he still conected their forheads together.
,,Thank you love." Neville thanked him as he smiled softly being blessed he has such husband, God was he lucky.
Im literally posting this in 23:15, but i was preparing for hospital im going in tomorrow so i didnt have time to finish this but whatever; happy birthday to one of my fav characters ever, he learned me that i can be who i am no matter how i look outisde its important who i am inside! So here it is for neville and he's lovely husband, happy birthday! <3

Kingdom Hearts 3 Ted Talk, Kairi’s Edition (More like rant) (Will contain spoilers)
*Warnings*
While reading the following post you should expect:
*Spoilers are ahead.
*Duality of emotions clashing between love and frustration.
*A certain mouse’s head will be expected in a platter, and he will be the source of the darkness coming out of me.
*Love for a character that deserved way more than what she got.
*Deep disappointment for a forgotten friendship that was non-existent.
*A sailing ship warmed my heart.
*And an ending that shattered it.
…So it’s basically me ranting at how SE treats Kairi.
Also, it’s a pretty long read. I tried to make it short. Oh well.

I’m so wrecked after this game. But don’t get me wrong, I loved it!
The graphics were superb, their expressions on point, the writing and humor, the landscapes and worlds. It was all so precious. Being able to play as the spiked hair little bundle of joy again after so long was truly like coming home.
But as much as I loved it, there are so many things that rubbed me the wrong way. So many things I hoped for, that seemed reasonable and not out of the realm of possibilities, but never happened.
I will not mention all of them here because I could write an entire essay about it. Reason why I’ll try not to get overly excited. Underline try.
This time I will mostly talk about Kairi.
Let’s do this quick, shall we?
First of all, I need that mouse’s head on a platter.
I wish Aqua would’ve given Mickey a good beating in this game. Don’t get me wrong, I usually like Mickey and his character in the KH franchise is pretty cool. But I hated his disregard to Kairi in this game. It just made me want to scream. Yes, he’s not the only one who doesn’t give a damn about the redhead (more on that lovely subject later), but I felt like he valued other’s life above hers in a blatantly obvious way. There are two scenes where I noticed this and it made me want to crawl up the walls.
The first scene was when Kairi is about to be struck down by Terranort, after him discarding two experienced fighters with a little more than a flick of his wrist, mind you. So, of course she’s scared and paralyzed, like any normal keyblade wielder (with only basic training and no real experience) would be. As Sora is desperately running to shield her with nothing but his body, Mickey uselessly screams “Sora no!”, as Donald and Goofy use their brains (and weapons) and come to the rescue.
What gives Mickey? Is she that unimportant in your mind, that Sora shouldn’t even try to help her? Did you honestly expect Sora to just let her die? Because if Terranort struck her, she was toast.
But I guess the answer is yes, because the other scene that made me want to strangle him was when Sora wants to go and save her and Mickey is trying to convince him not to go. I bet if it was Minnie on the line he would be jumping into lava if it meant to save her. But Kairi? Nah.
I swear I would’ve wanted Minnie to be next to Kairi and both be destroyed by Master Xehanort, just to see if Mickey’s reaction would be any different and if he would also risk it all at the end to save her instead of being like “oh don’t go Sora, you may never come back. Just leave Kairi to die, we can lose her but not you” attitude. Geez.
Love for a character that deserved better.
Oh, I could go one and on, on this one. It’s divided in many categories because the whole rant can be resumed in: she deserved better.
I’ll point out the obvious: I’ve always loved Kairi.
Yeah, she’s underdeveloped, not well written and can’t seem to shake the damsel in distress coat off, but I’ve always liked her. I’ve always felt Sora and Riku’s love for her real and heartwarming, and that’s made me like her so much. She’s also super brave, witty and has a great personality (don’t fight me on this)
I do get why some people might not like her, but I do.
Kingdom Hearts games have always treated her like a plot device and nothing more, and kh3 was the worst of the bunch in my opinion.
No one seems to care about her except for Sora.
When everyone reunites after Kairi dies, the only one who says something to him to reassure and confort Sora, apart from Donald and Goofy, is Xion. The rest are like oh ok she died, what’s next? I was expecting for Axel to be pissed, sad, anything, or anyone commenting something about it, but they just disregarded it like nothing happened.
Even if I understand that Terra, Aqua, Ven, Roxas, even Xion, didn’t know her that well and I didn’t expect it to affect them, at least they should acknowledge their fallen comrade. But ok, they didn’t know her that well. But Axel and Riku virtually not giving a damn? It really made things worse for my already wrecked heart. Those two are her closest friends, aside from Sora..
Even when the final battle is over everyone is like “wohoo we won! it’s all over!” (I’m glaring at you mouse) and even Riku agrees, Sora is the only one who is sad and heartbroken for her dying. Speaking of Riku basically disregarding her death..
Deep disappointment for a forgotten friendship that was basically non-existent.
Saying that I was disappointed in Kairi and Rikus interactions is a mayor understatement. This broke my heart because my highest hope for kh3 was to see Riku and Kairi being friends. Like, real friends.
In kh1 he was all over protecting her, in kh2 he silently looked after her and kept her safe as much as he could, but kh3? Man, in this game they felt like borderline strangers to me. Even faced by her being murdered in front of his face, he just stood there kind of surprised and pissed. Nothing more.
Seriously?
I mean Master Xehanort had just cold-bloodedly killed her right then and there, and he didn’t react as if his childhood friend had just turned into dust.
And even worse, when the final battle ended he didn’t even offer to go with Sora to save her. What the hell?
If it was Sora who had died, there is no doubt in my mind that he would’ve been fighting his way to save him, consequences be dammed. (And it’s what probably happens when Kairi comes home alone, smh) And that reaction would be right because they’re best friends and that how any of the other characters would react if one of their trio was killed and they had the chance to save them.
So why did it seem like he didn’t care at all? It hurts a lot.
Where is the Riku who’s last worlds for Sora were asking him to keep Kairi safe? The one who helped her escape Axel or shielded her from Saix?
Riku felt off to me in Kingdom Hearts 3, not only because of this, but I’ll leave that for my Riku rant.
Kairi’s performance in the final battle
Not everyone has to kick ass to be valid, and she tried her best to train and help, even when it was not something she was used to.
I mean, come on! Her first real experiences in battle were in the final battle. Who the hell thought it was a good idea? She had only trained with Axel. So, of course she would freeze when she sees trained/experienced keyblade wielders being thrown all over the place. Even Sora didn’t take out his weapon, trying to save her in the rush of the moment. And even if she did take out her keyblade when Terranort attacked her, she would’ve been smashed against the wall like Axel.
I’ll admit that before kh3 was released, I wished she did become OP and beat some organization XIII butt, but as I advanced in the game I realized how ridiculous that is. If you put kh1 Riku and Sora in that scenario, even at the end of the game with all the experience they had gathered, I bet they wouldn’t have fared very differently.
What I truly want is for her to go on her own adventure and grow powerful at her own pace, so in the next big battle she’ll be fairly prepared. It would be better if that adventure was with Sora and Riku, exploring new worlds together just the three of them, like they dreamed about in kh1.
But I’ll say it again: Not everyone in the game must kick ass to be valid.
A sailing ship warmed my heart. Even if it was poorly written (Unsurprisingly. It involves Kairi so I expected as much)
The Sokai in the game honestly lifted my battered heart.
Sora grows to learn so much more of love in this game: how powerful true love can be, how if you truly believe, love can make miracles happen and that one day is enough if there is true love.. He even admits that he still doesn't know much about it, but as the story goes on we can see that he knows more than he believes.
I loved the paopu scene. I could totally imagine Kairi and Riku planning it beforehand, so that Kairi and Sora would be alone to do so. Key word being “imagine” because at this point, their friendship is only in my imagination.. but that will be saved for Riku’s rant..
I believe that it’s so in character that Kairi initiates the paopu scene, because Sora would never do so. But I loved it, and the way they looked at each other was so.. oh man this game.
The paopu moment did seem to make Sora bolder, touching her more than before and being blunter about how she makes him feel. And it’s so heartwarming and wholesome that the moment when Sora realizes Kairi’s light had been guiding him in the darkness, he remembers the two acts of true love he had witnessed before in the game: Rapunzel’s tear bringing Flynn back to life and Elsa and Ana’s scene as well. I believe that’s the moment when he realizes that she’s his True Love..
That moment when he finds her in the darkness, and he makes her shy when he tells her that he felt strong with her, smiling knowingly when she turns away embarrassed. Or holding her hand for longer than necessary when they go back with the others.
It’s amazing that after meeting so many new people, many gorgeous girls and guys, Sora’s heart hasn’t let go of the friend he fell for as kids. He loved her for her personality and heart, which is why their bond is so strong, even if they see each other less than before.. which is a massive understatement if I must say so myself.
That heart wrenching scream when she was taken into the heartless tornado or his grief-stricken face as he screamed at Master Xehanort “Why”, are proof of just how deep his feelings for her are. How important and invaluable she is in his life.
Adding to this, his utter sacrifice to go save her as soon as possible, not enjoying his victory against Master Xehanort, and not making her wait one more second (his words, not mine) is a statement of his feelings for her, simple and clear (thought I would say clean did ya?)
I mean, come on! His first thought after killing that murderous bald sack of darkness was about her.
And at the end I love how they were holding hands and sitting so close to each other on the paopu tree (They’re definitely a couple now) before he vanished and shattered my heart in a million different pieces.
Speaking of which..
An ending that shattered my heart.
I feel like her dying was very unnecessary. I think that it was only for Sora to embark on a mission alone. Master Xehanort says that he lacks motivation, so he kills her (she’s being used as a plot device again dammit) but Sora clearly was going to fight him either way, motivation or not.
So, killing Kairi was only for Sora to go alone at the end, leave the story inconclusive and the game, and players, in dire need of a sequel.
Before the secret ending had been added, I was super sad that the only person who truly cared for her had seemingly died, or vanished, but now we know he’s someplace else, looking for a way back to her. I would love for her to save him, but given how SE treats her, I think I’ll temper my expectations for her in the next installments of the games.
This game left me with a super bittersweet feeling, but it was definitely worth it! I won’t let SE and the character’s indifference towards Kairi affect my overall enjoyment of the game.
But let’s hope she gets to shake that damsel in distress title Nomura loves to give her.. I guess I can’t keep my expectations low for her, can I?
Oh well, Sora still need to give her her lucky charm back, which she gave back in Blank Points, so he needs to come back to her to return it.
Please SE let Kairi help save Sora this time, without being a burden. Thank you.

Two ghosts I
This is the part one of a fanfic I have been working lately. At first, it was going to be a one shot, but it ending been really long, so I cuted in half and publish the first part now. The second part is allready write, but I need to pass it to a word archive because I write better on a fisical paper...
Also, I need to advise that inglish is not my first language, and even if I have a good manage of it, some mistakes may scape my multiple revisions. So, if you find one, please, tell me and I will fix it.
Disclamer: None of the characters that aperar in this history belongs to me, they belong to TamarinFrog (I don’t @ her because I still feel a little insecure about this) and her comic series Bottle Up. Also, the two principal characters in this are ghosts, and how they die will be treated explicitly (I mean, not in a gore way, but one of then includes a grafic explanation that includes blood), so if you’re not confortable with these kinda thmes, maybe you shouldn’t read it. If you do it, do it under your ound responsability.

Well, that was unexpected. Of course, everything looked too easy. She had to grab the musical box and get out the creepy victorian house. It sounded so simple. She should have seen the problem, but nope, she had to did it.
But then, if it was so simple, why she was looking at her corpse, that now was bleeding over the victorian carpet.

–Soo…– Daisy looked at her with a playful smile. –It will be really funny. Plus, we maybe meet some cute boys. –
If Tetrox were a rational and responsable, she would definitely said no and go to study for the next week exam. But Tetrox wasn’t.
– Ya can bet I will be there, sugar. – That was her first mistake.
If something could go wrong, it went worst. Turns out the mansion was truly haunted. So, even before they enter in the hall, things started go wild.
At first, they only heard sounds like steps or things falling and broken… Classic horror movie effects. One of the guys that was with them ran away when the big clock of the second floor give the hour with an unholy shriek sound. He was the first, but not the last. In less than 30 minutes, Tetrox was complety alone. Daisy had tried to convince her to go back, but Tetrox was more fascinated with the place than scare. She told Daisy to went back to the dorms with the rest of their partners.
Second mistake.
She should went back when she enter in that room and saw how books and other kinds of small objects were floating in the air, static in different zones of the room. The eyes of the paintings looked like they were following every one of her movement.
She should have go back when that voice on the back of her head started screamming to get the heck out of that place and forget about take something of the room. But she ignored it and spotted a little musical box. That was perfect. And she graved the musical box… and the pandemonium beging.
The temperature of the room dropped until the point she was able to saw her own breath, the eyes of the paintings become holes that droped blood like tears and the things that were floating started to atack her while she ran away of the room.
The panic and adrenaline ran across her blood when the courtains of the corritor tried to grab her, even if she was faster than them. The glass of the Windows were vibrating and the wood floor creaked under her feet.
She tried to went down the stairs as fast as was possible.
That was her third and last mistake.
Her foot sliped and she falled down the stairs, hitting her head with one of the steps. Then, all went black and quiet.

When she "woke up" a few moments later, she discovered the scene: her own body on the carpet, in a really unnatural position (probably due to the fall, the stairs were taller than they seemed). The musical box was open, letting a sweet melody cover everything like cruel irony.
And she, she was an spectator of her own dead.
–God dammit! You just couldn't let my things in their place, could you? – A masculine and really annoyed voice sound behind her. She turn around as fast as she could, confused.
A really pale (and handsome, to be fair) man in victorian clothes was there with his arms crossed and looking at her as everything wrong in the universe was her fault.
–Excuse me? – But she stilled a bit in shock.
The man looked at she even more disgusted. –You and your friends broke into my house and try to steal my belongings, ignored my warnings and destroyed my property.– Then, he pointed at her corpse, that was leaking some blood in the carpet. –No one cleans this place anymore, that blood stains will be imposible to clean. –
–Hold on. – Tetrox had to interrupt him. –You were the one doing all lof that shit! –
–Are you even listening? –
–Yes, sugar. And it looks like ya’re blamiming me for this.– She pointed her corpse. –I’m the one who just die! –
–It is not my fault if you are clumsy. – He said in a prepotent way as he smile.
–Excuse me!? Who was the one who was making the things flight against me? – Now she was the one pissed.
–First, you should have left when all your friends left. –
–Yes, just because an asshole ghost doesn't like having visitors! –
–What did you call me? – He looked really offended after her comment.
–C'mon, sugar. Ya're dead, ya don't even need those things! –
–That's not your business! –
–Well, now it's because I'm dead because of yar "haunted house" show! –
–Wait! If this is someone's fault, it is yours! – He pointed at her. –You should have left when ...–
–Yes, when my friends left. – Tetrox imitated his voice.
–How dare you interrupt me when I'm talking! –
–Ya’re not my boss.– Tetrox was tired of the senseless conversation. –Ya’re only screaming at me anyway. –
He looked at her like she growed a second head. She didn’t care anyway, what else he could do to her? She started looking around the hall, that looked way less scary when you know that nothing can hurt you now. Tetrox began wondering if she would be able to go trough the the walls, maybe she should try it. Maybe she could fly now!
–What the hell are you doing? – The male ghost looked at her tired.
–I’m trying to fly. – She said like it was the most obvious thing in the world.
–Why? –
–Cause now that i’m a ghost there’s no much I can do. –
–You can go away of my house, for example. –
Tetrox grimed playfully. –And I should do that cause…?–
–Because this…– he pointed the walls that surrounded them. –is MY property, and you enter here uninvited. –
–How about no. –
He looked at her as his anger grew. –You are an intruder! This is my property and there is no way I would allow you to stay! – He exploded. At the same time, the things in the room started to fly and the walls started tremble violently. It would be terrifing to saw by some alive.
Tetrox was not.
–Ya can do that as much as ya like. Ya can’t hurt me now. – She smile smugly.
Then everything stop. The anger in his eyes became horror when he realised that she was right. He could do nothing to harm her. She was already dead and he can do nothing about it. He had no way to made her left the place.
–Oh no. – he whispered.
–Oh yes! – She exclaimed laughing.
He looked even paler than before, if that could be posible in a ghost, but he didn’t said anything else. He just floated over the stairs and his shadow got lost in the corritor.
Tetrox just shrugged. She didn’t care, the only thing she wanted was explore the old place with her new abilities.

Arnick walked around the rooms. He finally managed to over come his frustration and anger.
He stopped and looked at the older painting like if them could talk. Everything was so quiet, just like it should be, just like always had been during the last century. Without anyone else but him. Maybe she decided to left.
Good, he didn’t need anyone else around that could disturbed his peace.
–What ‘re ya doing? – Maybe it was too soon to said that.
–Thinking – He gived to her a short and cutting response, but he refused to look at her. He wanna made her understood that he wanted to be alone.
–About what? – But looked like she didn’t got the signals. That was starting to made the frustation grow again inside him.
–That is not of your business. – Another cuttind responce. This time, he looked at her with disgusted, trying to got his message inside her head.
But she wasn’t having it.
–Ya have plenty of them around this place. They’re yar family? Yar friends? – Oh God. She never stops talking?
She keeped talking for a while. Arnick tried to ignore her and go away. But then, she started to follow him. Always talking, disturbing his precious silence. After a while, he had enough.
–Could you go away? Your presence is disturbing my peace. – He tried to be polite, but his frustation was starting to be pretty obvious.
–Nop. – She responded with a smile, like he just told her something nice.
If he were alive, he was pretty sure he will be red of fury. –Then why don’t you go to annoy someone who is not me. –
–Cause ya’re the only one I can talk to. – She kept smiling.
Arnick rubbed his forehead. Of coursed, she died just a few hours ago. She maybe was just confused or scared. That made perfect sense! She was probably in denial. And that could be the solution of the problem. Maybe he just needed to made her realised that she had died and she will let him alone.
–‘Re ya ok? Sugar? – She was looking at him a bit strangely. He had been quiet for a long time, not moving or reacting.
–Yes. – He felt in better humor, now that he finally knew how to restore his peace. –I undestand that right now you are a bit confuse. – She looked at him like she know nothing about he was talking about. –Your dead was sudden and you have no idea what to do now. –
–Not really. – she replied as if it was nothing.
He tried again. –Maybe you now feel that, but have you think in the reaction that your parents may have? Losting her daughter at such a young age… –
–Nah, I’m an orphan. –
–I am sorry to learn that, but now is the perfect change to opportunity them again. –
–I didn’t know them when I was alive, neither I know their names or how they looked. – She didn’t looked sad or even nostalgic; she was talking like the conversation were about the clime: boring and uninteresting. That attitude annoyed and scared him in equal parts, if she was alone in the world, she would never left.
–And what about your friends? – If that didn’t work, he would be in troubles.
Luckily, her bored expression changed –Oh… – She looked away for a second. –I guess I should say goodbye… Probably Daisy and Bella are worried about me… – She looked sad and guilty. That was what he need.
–Meh, I guess I will have to wait until someone find my body, then I will said goodbye in my funeral. – And she looked again like the begin of the conversation. –By the way, what’s your name? I’m Tetrox. –
She was smiling again, only this time she was offering her hand to him.
–You… YOU ARE INSANE! –
–And you’re, again, screamming, sugar. –
–How a person could be so careless, so airhead and… – He would have continue, but she started laughing.
–Why are you laughing about? – His voice was full of poison, but she didn’t seen to care about it.
–I never met someone who do such a funny faces when is mad! –
–Do you are aware who are you laughing at? – At that point, he was in the limit of his patience.
–No, cause ya had refused to tell me during the last, I don’t know, 15 minutes? – She had stopped laughing, but her voice kept a mocking tone and a mischievous smile was on her face.
–Well, my name Arnick Samuel Stilton and you better remember because it is the name of someone who is related with the England royalt! –
She was quiet, making he thought that he finally impressed her. But after a moment, she started laughing even more louder than before.
–What is so funny? – If she wasn’t dead, he would have kill her with his bare hands in that moment.
–Your initials spell ass. – She kept laughing, wich made him want to be able to kill himself.

She didn’t know how many time had passed since she die, but she expected to be prepared. She wasn’t.
Someone had finally came to take her body, but what she wasn’t expecting that her Friends would be present when that happend.
Joalquil was hugging Daisy, who was endlessly crying. Bella was outsite of the house, with her hands over her face, trying not to cry. Cyan, Marian and Vadelma were with her, trying their best to comfort her. Clem and Winter were also inside, talking with the police and explaning them why Tatrox were in the house in the first place. She only was a bit relieved cause the rest of her friends weren't there to watched the horrible spectacle.
–This is my fault. –Daisy’s crys were definetly the worst.
–You didn’t know this would happend, –Joalquil kept trying to comfort her, –You know how she was. She never listen anybody when something got in her head. –
–I’m her best friend! She would listen to me! I just didn’t insist enough. – More Daisy cryed, worst felt Tetrox.
–I guess this are the Friends that you mencioned. –Arnick had a condescending tone in his voice. –Looks like they care more than you expected. –
–Don’t ya like peace and being alone? Get lost. –She had no time for his complains.
He looked a bit confused, probably cause it was the first time she talked him with that mood.
–If you would had have to live in my time, you would probably have ended internated in a mental sanatorium. Those frame of emotions changes are not normal. –
She didn’t have the energy to deal with this prepotent and emotionless comentaries and the endlessly cry of Daisy. She felt too much stress in that moment, she only wanted everything to disappear, that whats was happening was only a nightmare.
–Ey! –But Arnick seen to had a reason to made her realy clear that all was real, but she tried to ignore him. –Tetrox! Please, listen! – He really wanted to mocked her up really badly, cause he was almost screaming. –For the love of God! You are gonna destroy everything! – What? She wasn’t doing anything.
–What ‘re ya saying… that? – But Tetrox needed no answer when she looked around.
The glasses of the windows were even more shattered than before and somo of then looked like they just plain exploted; the ceiling lamp was dangerously swaying, really close to fall and some of the pictures and bases were broken in the floor.but that wasn’t all, a dense red liquid was coming out of the eyes of the eyes of the statues and portraits that were intact and the melody of the musical box filled the air, even if it didn’t have more string.
Some people had run outsite, but a few still there, frozen of fear. No one said anything for a few minutes, but it felt like hours.
–What happend? –Tetrox felt really confused. Did she that? How? She didn’t mean to.
–Now that you are a ghost, your emotions can afect the place that surround you. –Arnick didn’t have a prepotent tone anymore, probably cause he was worried that she could destroy anything else. –If you start panicking, everything will begin again. –Just as she thought.
–I didn’t want to do that, it’s just I…–
–I know, thei situation must be really stressful, but you have to calm down. – Now, that felt more genuine. –If not, you may do something you would regret later. –
She tried to focus on other thoughts, but since that wasn’t working, she tried to focused in her most happy memories: when her friends planned for her a surprise party (the first in her life), when she finally was free of the orphanage, when she found the prefect dress for the prom dance…
–It looks like is over now. – She opened her eyes (she didn’t noited that she closed them) and take a look around: The lamp wasn’t shaking anymore, the melody had stoped and no signal of the red liquid could be spotted. The people that had stayed in the room seem to be more calm, well, as calm you could be after wittness paranormal activity in direct.
–What… what was that? –Clem was the first alive person that said somthing, but her question was left without answer. The police made them left the place and cordoned off the area.
–I probably should go with them. –When she said that, Arnick just nooded and looked at the floor.
Without waiting for an answer, Tetrox crossed the door and followed the ambulance.

The mansion was really quiet since she left. Everything was the same again, and that was allright for him. She had left maybe two week prior, but he was surprised that she never came back. Maybe she was able to find the peace thet he never could, maybe she found other people to annoy. Whatever was the case, he didn’t care at all. But, for some reason, the house had been feeling more big than ever.
–Whao, ya look even saddest than I remember. Did ya miss me? –
He jumped out of shook and looked at the place the voice came from and she was there, smiling at him like the day before her body was found, like nothing happend.
–What are you doing here? I thought you left. – He was really surprised to saw her there, he thought he would never see her again.
–Well, I also thought I will ever came back, that after my funeral and say bye to my people I will, I don’t know, pass to the after life, I guess. – She didn’t show any sign fo sadnest, but she seem to found it intresting. – But it didn’t happend, so, after messing up with a few people that I really don’t like and going around, I got bored cause I couldn’t talk to anyone. So here I’m now! – Then, out of the blue, she hugged him. –Dis ya miss me? –
–Wha… No! –He tried to free himself, but she was stronger than him. –Let me go! How are you even doing this!? –
–Doing what? –
–Touching me! This is no even posible! – He was never, nor when he was alive, a person that felt confortable with fisical affection, so he didn’t felt really please with the interaction.
–Ya’re blush. –She mutted.
–What!? – His voice was higher than he pretended.
–Ya’re blush! I didn’t know a ghost can do that! –She smiled widely –It looks good on ya, ya almost look alive. – For some reason, his cheeks warmed more.
–Ah?! Just let me go already! –He tried to fight, but she just hugged him tightly and laughed.
He thought that the rest of the eternity was going to be really long.

- I love how Garfield is respectful and aknowledges Kaldur and M’gann efforts despite the situation. Batman should take him as an example...
- A public Team. So is that what he had in mind in the previous episode? I’m relieved. So much clever that what I thought! But the bad guys will probably guess if there is a public Team, there also is a covert Team. Not all of them were aware of this...
- Kaldur being a protective Big Brother :)
- Lex restricted even more the JL? What does he want them to do? Charity missions and gala?
- Strikes against meta people :( Not really surprising as we have strikes against POC and queer people... Humankind really doesn’t like difference, does they? :(
- Of course bad guys would find a way to make profit of humans. We already do it with pollution,
- Gar has good points actually! My boy had mature so well!
- It’s me or Traci is drown way differently when she is in civics and hero costume? Her face seems different.

- “Green skin. Can’t hide.” He’s already a famous star anyway. But easily recognizable because of it.
- “Public doesn’t always get I’m a different guy.” Aw sweetie :(
- “They already know what I have become. Now I want to show them who I have become.” So powerful :)
- “And there were no way I was gonna let this be a no girl squad.” / “Group needed a little color.” Seriously writers? Can’t they have real character motivation? Like Cassie wanting to be aknowledged as a true hero (to show her growth since her insecurities in season 2) or Virgil wanted to be known as a hero (since in the previous episode the girl didn’t know Static). This kind of comments are in the 4th wall dimension, something the fans see, not something the writers say to show they have included diversity in their characters. It’s something you show, not tell, or it doesn’t have the same impact on the fans.
- But I like Jaime and Virgil friendship
- “Not ready. Noy yet.” That would also have been a great occasion to give them character development. Like Forager is supposed to be dead, Terra still copes with her abduction and Traci doesn’t trust her control on her powers yet (her hero insecurities) and develop why Halo isn’t ready yet.
“Guessing we’re too old. Whoa. When did that happen?” Technically Conner is 8 so he can still be part of their Team and I would have love Artemis being with them as their Team lack of martial arts :)
- So it’s Teen Titans Tower but in Hollywood instead of San Francisco? And it’s called the Hub.
- Wait... where’s Traci? I know she’s the only one who isn’t part of the Outsiders or lives there but still!
- “This is so crash!” I agree Bart!
- “Finally! I mean: thank you!” Brion is so glad to have his own personal space again :) The bioship should have felt pretty small compared to his room in a royal palace.
- “Who’s paying for all this?” “Gretchen Goode.” xD

Finally a girl and boy being BF without love involved! :D Please, writers, let’s them stay BF! :( I want Cassie to give poor flirty advice to Virgil when he meet a girl he like xD But fans, still feel free to ship them ;)

- “No way 6 teenagers are gonna to live here alone and unsurpervised.” *she says while looking at Violet and Brion* “Yeah, who knows what might happen?” Those two make love (with their respective boyfriend) in the Cave, didn’t they?
- “I would be happy, honored to act as a den mother.” Helga, stop saying honored, that’s weird and suspicious... What everyone else doesn’t find it suspicious?!
- 3 days later. It feels like it’s the same day, doesn’t it?
- Nowadays teenagers reflex: record it before to go in safety...

- Kaldur is so great and... beaten to easily? I know it’s Reach tech but I thought he would manage longer as he put Blue inconscious in season 2...
- He’s DEAD? No, he’s ok! Don’t give me heart attack like that! I had enough with Forager already!
- “Chill, Aquaman!” Is that supposed to be a joke? You know, because it’s winter and/or Kaldur is Atlantean.
- *fangirl laugh* I hated that... I just hope she won’t get hurt because the fangirling makes people dumber...
- “My spectacles” Is that an old word for glasses? “Gratitude.” This girl definitely has a high rank vocabulary.
- “Stay calm, citizen, and stay inside.” Cassie feels a little unease and in a confident character :) Not confortable yet with speaking with the population yet :)
- “Superamalgamated.” No clue of what she said...
- Love that Virgil has a techonological plateform now :)
- Helga seems so proud of Brion :) Ok, maybe she’s not evil, but just overprotective like I thought...
- “Please, miss, you must get to cover.” Give up, Kal, she’s a teenager AND a fangirl, no way she stay out of danger...
- Wait, why Joan is at hospital? What happened to her? :(
- Aw... Ed showing the Team to his proteges :3 And Wendy is laughing!

- The scream doesn’t seem to be Jaime’s voice but Brion’s...
- Aw... Mom Arty is sad they’re leaving :( Or did they already have? Violet is crying :( “One last sleepover.” They haven’t leave yet.
- So cool Gar is introducing his team :)
- The Sheriff is funny but what kind of American accent is that? Is it cliché? I find it annoying :/ (no offense, it’s just difficult to understand)
- “We prefer protégé.” = “don’t call us sidekicks!” in season 1 xD But more diplomatic.
- Whisper A’Daire and Intergang are back! Blue already met her in season 2 with Superboy. And here are Scorpia A’Daire (her little sister I guess?) and Cairo Defrey. Is she from Egypt? Is she old or does she have metapowers with her white hair?
- Scooby Doo vibes? I mean the Team appeared in an episode, so why not? Wait, so the two girls are from Scooby Doo Team too? (Don’t know their names in English...)
- This bip doesn’t look good... The big ship is awake again! So the Reach will come? But it seems pretty empty so? Did the signal activate because of Whisper’s line? As she said they didn’t succeed?
- “Look what they’ve done to our library!” It’s just a glass sir, pretty sure it’s no big deal compared to a destroyed city... Have you seen Central City after Neutron?
- Tommi Tompkins, sound like a boy name... Wait! Is Tommi transwoman and his dad just use his dead/birth name? He’s really a jerk :(
- He’s on Lex Luthor’s side, that’s why...
- The ship is huge! Is it the same than where the heroes and Runaways were abducted in season 2?
“This is so moded!” “No way...” “Yes way! I mean: look at us! We’re in chackles!” They still have the same dynamic! :’)
- When the bad guys told you to call the JL, you know you’re in trouble! Except if you’re a dumb jerk...
- He called the US Air Forces. Is he dumb or... No, there’s no other explanation that stupidity (I mean a lack of knowledge, but essentially common sense...)
- And... they’re dead... Mayor, your stupidity caused two deaths (maybe 4?) of soldiers. Are you proud? Remorsed? “No, no, no!’ He’s a stubborn dumb jerk, isn’t he?
- “Mine aren’t (tied). Just handcuffled.” and they break free so easily it’s funny xD Why do you think they use collar in Belle Reve, stupid mayor?
- Tara’s flashbacks are heartbreaking :( She couldn’t see her parents again after her kidnapping :(
- “Do you see how brave Tara and Violet are? You can be brave like them.” *Violet hides because of thunder* It was sweet and funny :) And Artemis is educating Lian to be brave like her parents and auntie :)
- Big sisters Artemis and Tara :) It’s rare to see Tara smiling, those family moments do good to her :)
- Gar still likes to perch on people’s shoulder :)
- “No baddies, just their bones.” Bart, the Reach are insect-base, they don’t have bones... Wait, could be the bones of the abducted teens in season 2 who didn’t have the metagene? Virgil said there were kids they never saw again and they were only 5: the Runaways plus Chimmer. Where were the other kidnapped kids? Dead. And that won’t make any sense the Reach stay on that ship to die at the end of season 2... And the Team didn’t kill anyone while saving the abductees. So yeah, it have to be the murdered abducted kids :’(
- “bad news, there are still militaries air force.” The mayor is really stupid or the soliders didn’t get the memo their colleagues are dead in one blow?
- “Good news.” “Please no bad news, Please no bad news.” “Bad news.” “Urg!” xD
- Virgil’s sarcastis comments are back! xD
- Gar still has clever solutions :)
- Of course, Ed is worried :) And Wendy doesn’t have the collar anymore! The Team did inspire her! :D

Do you have any theories on exactly who each kidnapper might be?
Well...
I sort of talked about it at lenght in my meta for chap 199, the one for chap 198 and in this meta about who the kidnappers could be but I don’t mind to recap it for who doesn’t feel like reading my long Meta about the chapters, though I hope I won’t bore who did.
So the kidnappers.
As far as I’m involved all I’m confident about (though of course I could be wrong) is that Tsurumi is either orchestrating or HEAVILY influencing the kidnapping as the kidnappers seem to move in a manner that’s simply too convenient to him and not convenient at all to Russia.
As of now we’ve seen only 3 kidnappers, they all keeping their face and hair covered.
While we don’t know if we’re supposed to know all three of them or just one, I’m confident it’s not possible they’re all unknown guys. Noda is going at great lenght to keep their faces hidden FROM US, not just from Koito, so I think at least one if not all three of them, have to be a familiar face.
It’s worth to note 2 of them has shown they can speak in Russian and they understand Japanese. The third instead can ride a horse.
They all have pale skin (at least the skin of their hands look pale).
Tsurumi shoot at the kidnapper on the horse but as Noda this time didn’t represent the bullet trajectory going through him, an entrance hole or blood spraying out, there’s a HUGE chance the guy only faked being hit, which is a hint he might be in an allegiance with Tsurumi and merely chased them for the show.
So back to Tsurumi who he could use for the job?
As said in a past post:

Let’s check our possibilities one by one.

We know very few Russians, basically the guys who organized the stenka or took part to it, Svetlana and her parents, Ilya and Vasily (with the other two border guards) and the doctor who took care of Ogata.
Honestly if it were the guys who organized the stenka I wouldn’t see why to keep their faces hidden. Also they do not speak Japanese. Same for Svetlana and her parents who really, I can’t see taking part to this.
No idea if Ilya and Vasily know Japanese but somehow I doubt they would be involved in this as they looked just like two border guards, not the sort of people you’ll involve in this sort of mission.
The doctor who took care of Ogata behave in an extremely suspicious manner, so he could be more than what he looks like...
...considering he said Ogata was about to die when we’ll see him up and rather lively even for a guy who’d just been operated moment after.
He was familiar with Japanese, though he said it was due to taking part to the Russo-Japanese war.
His lobes are different from the other characters, which made me wonder if he’s a pure Russian or he actually has Ainu blood.
He was conveniently introduced before the flashback so he can be connected to it but... there are no real hints connecting him to one of the kidnappers.
2) trustedmen from the 7th
At the time (1902) most of the men we know who’re currently in the 7thshouldn’t have been in it yet.
This refers to all the 1stclass privates and, possibly, to the superior privates as well who might have been in the7thbut, if they were in it, they likely were just rookies.
So at most we can consider:
Corporal Tamai, Sergeant Tsukishima and Warrant Officer Kikuta.
If you ask me Kikuta is the sort who wouldn’t want to risk his own career allowing himself to be involved in the kidnapping of Rear AdmiralKoito Heiji who’s likely also someone upperclass considering how rich the Koito family looks like.
Tsurumi at the time was promising, but not so promising one like Kikuta would bet his career on him... though since we don't know Kikuta that well, I might be wrong in judging him.
We know next to nothing about Tamai, except for his face and that he was part of a rebel group. If he’s in the bunch no amount of hints would help us to recognize him.
Tsukishima can be considered a possibility as he was already working for Tsurumi, he’s very loyal to him, knows Russian and one of the kidnappers was nice with Koito.
On the other side there’s to wonder if Tsukishima, despite his loyalty to Tsurumi, was already to the point in which he would kidnap the son of a rear admiral. It looks as if Tsurumi informed him of the Ainu plan only during the Russo Japanese war (1904/05), therefore 2, 3 years after the kidnapping, so I’m not sure how Tsurumi would have persuaded him to take part to this.
3) randomgoons
This opens the doors to... everyone who’s willing to do dirty jobs, really. From convicts that weren’t arrested yet (we don’t know when all the convicts ended in jail so some of them might have been still free at the time) to partisans like Kiro and Wilk who might have been willing to do the job if they were to see it as potentially useful for their cause or were tricked into seeing it as potentially useful for their cause. It actually opens the door to the 1stclass privates and to the superior privateswe know if they were willing to dirty their hands as they wouldn’t do the job as soldiers but just as hired goons.
So, since this can only lead us so far let’s look again at the kidnappers and see if there are hints on who they could be.
THE KIDNAPPER WITH THE CAP
He’s the first kidnapper we see and he’s always on a horse which he rides with confidence and ability (he uses it to stop Koito’s vehicle and manages to keep the horse calm even if the vehicle might have frightened it and might have also managed to have the horse run down a hill... which is something a horse can do but only if it’s trained and his rider is good).
The best rider we’ve in the cast is Kiroranke who could even win a horse race, loves horses and has a lot of experience with them.
Interesting enough Kiro also used to wear a cap like the one of the kidnapper (I still thanks @chibivesicle for noticing this!).
THE KIDNAPPER WITH THE BLACK BOWLER HAT
All we know about him is he covered Koito’s face, can talk Russian, doesn’t seem to be particularly tall compared to young Koito (I’ll assume 16 years old Koito is much shorter than his actual 21 years old self) and sniffed an Anpan.
Now sniffing things is done so often by Ogata it could be considered his signature move.
While I find unlikely he could be one of Tsurumi’s trusted men in the 7thalready as he would be around 20 and men tended to join the army at 21 (so a newcomer at the very best), it can be that he was already working for the partisans, which would explain his alliance with Kiro later on.
Considering Kiro might be in this due to how the kidnapper with the cap has elements in common with him, it’s possible Ogata was dragged in as well. We know that 20 for the partisans isn’t young at all as Kiro was chosen to murder the Russian emperor when he was 15, so at 20 Ogata would be more than old enough to be a partisan who could do his share.
Golden Kamuy hinted there could be a connection between Ogata and Wilk’s village in Karafuto and it’s noteworthy Ogata knows Russian and he used it to insult Koito instead than Japanese, and this also could be explained if he had taken part at the kidnapping (though it can also be explained by Kiro telling him about it)...
...so although there are less hint that make him similar to the black bowler hat kidnapper compared to Kiro, well, the possibility it’s him exists.
THE KIDNAPPER WITH THE WHITE FEDORA HAT
In the kidnapping, this guy was in the coach, and then he was left in charge to take care of Koito. He give him food and water and also a Tsukisappu Anpan, who however was very old and therefore expired and also tried to confort him when his father said he has to die for the sake of his country.
This one is the one that’s actually hard to connect to anyone... as there are various speculations on who he could be but nothing specific that would connect him to a character.
Some has speculated he could be Tsukishima as he showed kindness to Koito by rubbing his back... though Tsukishima never got physically kind with anyone, not even Koito. He carries him when he’s wounded and praises him when he thinks they have accomplished the mission they came in Karafuto for but doesn’t rub his back or pat his head or anything else.
The anpan thing has also considered as a possible hint because, although it’s not nice to give an expired anpan to someone, since it’s a Tsukisappu Anpan it could have been part of Tsurumi’s plan that Koito were to get one.
Or he might not have realized they were expired and so giving him a sweet (having sweets back then wasn’t easy) was an act of extreme niceness.
We never saw Tsukishima in western clothes when dressed as a civilian so his clothes aren’t a hint either.
On the other side the whiteness of his hat might be a call to the whiteness of Ogata’s cape, the fact that the Anpan was expired might be a hint the fedora kidnapper wanted to be a jerk to Koito but then he switched to niceness when he realized Koito’s father would abandon him like Hanazawa did with him. We know Ogata saved Shinpei from being murdered by his father so Ogata can be empathic toward rejected children... on the other side we never saw Ogata being physically gentle with someone... but we are in 1902 and we only know 1907 Ogata. The guy could have grown colder and harder in 5 years.
If he’s Ogata though, we would have no one with whom to connect the black bowler hat kidnapper.
Another possibility is this guy is actually Wilk.
If Kiro is involved, there’s a chance Wilk would be too, with this flashback paralleling the one we saw about how Wilk, Kiro and Sofia met Hasegawa/Tsurumi. In that one we didn’t know Tsurumi was Hasegawa, in this one we don’t know the kidnappers are Kiro and Wilk.
1902 is the year in which the incident with the gold took place. Wilk was already a father and having Asirpa around might have softened him a bit so that the guy who was okay with slitting the throat of a companion to protect the others is now feeling like conforting a teen who hears his father telling him he has to die for his country’s sake.
Kiro after all told Inkarmat (and us) that Wilk had changed.
It might have meant he didn’t feel up on doing dirty works like kidnapping teens and murdering emperors any longer and just wanted to be a fulltime dad.
Or, since he had no real characteristic we can connect to someone with certainty, he could have been the overmentioned Russian doctor, who due to his strange behaviour and large lobes might actually be also partly a member of a minority and therefore might have been a partisan because again, since Kiro could be in the team, other partisans could be in it.
So, as of now, those are what look like the most likely possibilities for the kidnappers assuming the three of them are someone we know and neither of them is a random goon.
Of course, as usual, I might be completely off track or miss elements that will be given later on and will be revealed relevant to figure who the kidnappers are.
I know @chibivesicle is answering to the same question so I recommend reading her reply as well as I’m sure she’ll raise good points (I hadn’t yet because I wanted to finish mine but I’m going too as soon as I’ve posted this).

Here comes my weekly heartbreak about Game of Thrones... Yeah (please take me back).
So I’m gonna be honest, I thought this episode could have been great, the setting, the pictures, the music everything is really beautiful andin King’s Landing we have this feeling of claustrophobia and fear for everyone one. But it wasn’t what I was expected, part of it because I’m a Dany stan, but most of all because this seem so sudden and a bit anticlimactic.
Let’s start with the general story of this episode and I’ll rant about characters later. So we know it was the battle of King’s Landing, we waited for this for so long for Cersei to be challenged for the Iron Throne and for what was said to be one of the most important moment of the series. I mean I’m not in the fandom for that long I was so excited about it. So once again the cinematography of this episode is gorgeous but I wasn’t satisfied by it. The Golden Company was the most oversold thing ever, like honestly in two minutes they were gone (also Dany’s army wasn’t supposedly a less shorter after the battle of Winterfell ???) so this big thing we’ve been sold since season 7 weren’t that challenging for her armies that was weird but anyway. And a lot of things happened, aka Danaerys and Jamie have lost all of their characters development in one scene and it broke my heart. Cersei death wasn’t what I was expected, I mean we follow her since the beginning and she’s dying crushed by rocks, I mean they could have done fire at least (even if I actually wanted Arya, or Jamie, to kill her) but no, rocks. But it was a great acting performance because I actually felt pity towards her, which I never felt until then, and I almost wanted her to escape you know like far away from King’s Landing and the crown, but no rocks...
Other important plot thing : the Cleganebowl, another thing we’ve been waited for. The setting of this battle, in the stairs was weird you know not what I imagined but it worked. Honestly I was satisfied by it. We see Sandor rage and determination and Gregor is literally a monster and quite honestly one who is hard to kill. But they both died, together. Tell me I’m not the only one who thought about the scene when Harry jump from the Hogwarts bridge with Voldemort in the last Harry Potter movie. Which kind of ruined the moment for me but anyway. The last scene between Arya and Sandor was quite touching and his character is one I grow to like for his complexity. Let’s talk about Arya one minute, this girl has a way to escape death quite impressive and I’m happy about it I love her, like a lot. But the final scene with the horse was maybe a bit too much, I mean a dragon just fly over the city this horse should be far gone by the end of the battle.
So now let’s talk about the things that made me angry : the characters development lead to that ?
- First Jamie : I was hopeful that I would go to King’s Landing to stop Cersei NOT TO DIE WITH HER !!! (yeah it was probably hopeless thinking but still) And I’m sorry but his character arc didn’t lead him there. I mean if you wanted him to go back to Cersei, why fight with the North ? and even worse why sleep with Brienne ? I fought for the North because I was sure it was the right thing to do even against Cersei advise. And that’s the thing I thought he was over Cersei, that’s what the show told us and that’s why he slept with Brienne. Because he learned to move on from his relationship with his sister. But noooo, every change we saw in his character were not really there because he came back to die with his sister. And I can understand but it wasn’t foreshadow, he didn’t have any regret leaving Cersei, or their unborn child to fight with the North so why come back now ???? It would have been interesting if we saw more internal struggle but we didn't. He leaves and he doesn’t think twice about it and he basically says that he doesn’t care about the people. Way to kill this character arc.
- Then comes the mother of dragons, who like Jamie had her entire character development killed in this episode. First before the battle. As no one, like none of her adviser or Jon Snow tried to confort her ??? I mean she doesn’t eat, she doesn’t sleep, she lost her best friend and one of her dragon and when she sees the man she loves he reject her. I mean could one of the person around her could have try to talk to her. Let’s be clear I don’t think it was a reason to kill innocent, I’m just saying that in the beginning she is lonely and that didn’t help. So she learned that Varys betrayed her. Honestly his death was a bit underwhelming. I mean he died and no one talks about it after. And after that comes the battle, and that’s where my issues start. So when the bells ring it was supposed to mean surrender and no more battle but of course it didn’t happened that way. My main issue here is not Dany continue on with the battle but it’s Dany burning innocents. If she had she flew to the Red Keep to attack Cersei it would have been one thing, a bit dramatic and brutal but revenge and honestly maybe understandable after she lost her best friend and one of her dragon because of her. But since the beginning she was always this character who didn’t want to hurt the innocents, she ended slavery in slaver’s bay and lock her dragons up when one of them killed a kid. She tried to be just and fair and stayed in Mereen so she could be sure that the peace is lasting and to learn how to rule. Did she sometimes acted a bit harshly, yes. But never towards innocents. And that’s what was the issue here for me, because until that moment we never saw her hurting people who didn’t rebel against her. And that’s what disappointed here, who can just throw away 7 season of character development in two episodes. You wanted to make her the Mad Queen, fine, then let’s show us her descent into madness, the way she acted less humanly during several seasons and her being more and more obsessed with the Throne before coming to Westeros.
Just so you know, I love Dany (well not the version of her from this episode) and maybe I refused to see some things so if you had some theories about Dark Dany please let me now, tell me what moments was for you character twist and if you were satisfied with how she was treated in this episode. Because honestly I wasn’t, in my opinion it was too sudden to feel natural and I’m sad they ruined her character that way.
For the last episode I feel like Arya is gonna try to kill Dany, I’m almost sure she’s gonna die honestly. And my wish for the end of the season is that Sansa end up one the throne. Honestly if Jon end up on the throne I would be disappointed because I don’t know I would rather have Sansa than Jon, even if I like him a lot honestly. Right now I’m just sad they ruined one of the most interesting female character on TV
Please if you don’t like Dany tell me what you thought of this episode, because I may have a bias when it comes to her.
