Hi Nate this has been sitting in my inbox for months bc I'm lazy and that's pretty much the only reason I have for you.

Anyway-

Honeymoon Malec HCs (don't come for me I haven't read all the books)

Magnus spends countless sleepless nights planning the perfect wedding

Despite his insistence that this stuff "doesn't matter that much" to him, Alec cannot help but participate. Frequently.

As per the many long, sometimes exhaustive conversations they have throughout the process, they wind up with some conglomeration of mixed cultural wedding between Warlock and Shadowhunter, with a few dashes of common Mundane aspects just because Magnus loves them

When they deed is done, they spend an hour fighting over who will get carried over the threshold

More specifically, they fight over who will do the carrying

Magnus wins and carries Alec under the logic that he's taller and therefore more equipped

Neither of them realize or mention that part being for after the honeymoon

I wish could say there's not a lot to be said about the actual honeymoon because they spent the whole time fucking about it, but Magnus was extremely insistent that they make it to every single attraction and tourist location he booked them for. It's a little bit infuriating for Alec, who had literally never been in a relationship before meeting Magnus, but it's too endearing to be seriously mad about it.

They definitely sent postcards home because Alec definitely gets homesick and Magnus definitely signs every one with some variation of "but everything is fine and we're literally thrilled none of you are here, kay byeeeee :)"

Alec does not agree to more hot air balloon shenanigans

Magnus books a blimp instead

Sigh goddamnit Magnus *shakes head broodily*

The blimp is actually very fun except for the part where Magus almost crashes and the conductor they hired to help them has to manually take over

At least Magnus had the forethought to hire an conductor though, right babe? :D

Magnus finds a little Downworlder club everywhere they go and this place is certainly no exception, so they spend at least a couple of nights drunk and a little over the top surrounded by people Alec has definitely never met before, but Magnus seems unexpectedly familiar with

Alec learns a lot about how much culture and social rules change in the Downworld depending on where you are in the physical world

He learns a lot about Magnus in general

They learn a lot about each other together

There's a very real possibility Alec gets too drunk and tries to "renew their vows" and Magnus has to remind him that they're literally on their honeymoon

When things do eventually conclude and they return to the real world, they create a little homage display of photos and memorabilia in the loft to always remember the amazing experiences they had

Ragnor was upset Magnus didn't invite him to his wedding, but that wouldn't stop him from attending it.

Ragnor knew, of course, that there was no need to turn on his heels as quickly and dramatically as he did, sudden pause as his face came into view stopping him dead on his tracks; he would have recognised the deep, sarcastic voice anywhere. And Raphael knew it, too, if his unimpressed face was anything to go by.

"I'm afraid I very much still have the horns, my dear," he answers, puzzled for a second, before taking a look, a real look, at Raphael, at his healthy golden skin, at his softened eyes, at the very much non-bloody drink on his hand. "It's you who doesn't have the Sight to see them," he realises, then pats himself on the back for keeping his voice even like he'd known the entire time.

secret: i have no idea how we didn’t end up on any blocklist considering how pissed certain people were about this fic, the pairing, and the plotline, and our general existence

second, nicer, secret: This fic is what made me (Saeth) ship Jagnus and I still don’t know how to feel about it.

five facts:

1) To be perfectly honest, Jace does kinda regret the fact that he agreed to be Alec’s parabatai. Not that he knows this about himself or would ever admit it if he did, but... For fuck’s sake, Alec deserves someone to treat him right and Jace would honestly have been happy to be that person.

2) Clace parted on mostly good terms — Clary wasn’t up for how Shadowhunters do sex, and there’s nothing wrong with that, but it made Jace and Clary completely incompatible for a relationship because neither of them wanted to only be in a romantic relationship and see other people for sex; They’re both too jealous for that to work. It’d be one thing if the person the other was “dating” was someone they also cared about, but that was too messily complicated for them to want to try. Clary is with Simon now. They’re very happy together.

3) You can pronounce the abbreviation of this fic “itty bottom” and this will never not be hilarious.

4) To be honest if there was an endgame ship for Jace it’d be Sebastian/Jace. That’d be really funny.

5) If Alec had dared to come up with a sex game for him and Jace to play, it would involve blindfolds and orgasm denial.

The saddest thing to me about Alec is so far this season, Magnus has been his support system, we especially saw that last episode. When Magnus is in Edom he's going to be hurting so much and you just know Jace isn't going to care about that (or probably even notice.) At least he has Izzy, I hope he has some sweet sibling scenes with her. Izzy cares about Magnus too so I hope we see her be there to help Alec do whatever it takes to get him back.

both of them were really sweaty, heavy breathing with grins painted on their faces. alec’s legs were burning from all the running and dodging magnus’ magic. his knees were shaking and yet, he couldn’t stop. the sight of his man shirtless, laughing and joking arund kept him going for several hours.

he didn’t even noticed he was staring at man in front of him when suddenly ball of energy softly hit his chest. alec’s knees gave up and he ended up on thew floor, body shaking from laugh. grabbing wooden stick next to him, he threw it at magnus’ legs and miserably missed.

“getting tired?” smooth voice appeared next to him. he looked up. magnus was dropping on his lap. and soon after that he felt weight on his crotch, heat on his sides. his hands automaticlly went to the other man’s waist, supporting him. laughing, alec carefully sat up. his breath was mixing with magnus’. suddenly, they’re lips were locked together, playfully sharing small kisses. until alec turned them around, his hands were holding magnus down as he pressed his hand on magnus’ chest: “are you?”
