Currently watching: The Mark Of Zorro (1940) – finishing the movie review, so rewatching it.

Three ships: Diego & Enrique (WDZ), Horatio & Archie (Hornblower), Dracula & Van Helsing (Van Helsing) – sorry for being too homosexual, but these are the last pairings I’ve wrote fanfiction about; I haven’t written anything about Richard Sharpe and Teresa Moreno, but I love them no less

I'm gonna bend the rules a little and focus on soundtracks because I think that'd be more interesting to people than French singers you've never heard of.

I do realize that most of them are getting old. I suppose it's more a testimony of my formative years as a cinephile, or like the soundtrack of my life. I did have to make some sacrifice, but I feel like it's quite representative of me.

(This is a dialogue from the eleventh(?) chapter of my WDZ fanfic “The Curse of Monterrey”. Señora Alvarado is a young widow, the mistress of the commandant of the capital of California, Cpt. Enrique Sánchez Monastario, Lt. Ramirez is Monastario’s deputy and friend. At the moment the Comandante is staying at his rancho near Los Angeles, so Ramirez acts as the commandant of the capital.)
