Kaede shouldn’t have felt so nervous. There was a nervousness she always held, regardless of what she was playing, how much she practiced, who was going to be there. But this time who was going to be there mattered. It mattered even though it shouldn’t have, since she saw the girl literally two days before.
Kaede wondered if she was upset at all.
Two nights ago, she gave the girl a ticket and invitation, asking her to attend. It didn’t have Kaede’s name on it at all, and she kind of acted as if she was going to be attending with her… As Kaede peeked into the crowd she saw her. Done up in lovely reds and pinks. She was looking down at her phone; she looked upset, maybe. Hopefully Kaede hadn’t messed up. She continued to convince the woman that she was looking for her in the audience until she felt too bad to continue because she knew that the other was smart.
She hoped, more than anything else, that Miu wouldn’t leave.
Luckily she could still see her as an announcer began to speak. Her eyes were trained, as if the seat would be empty if she blinked. The only thing that broke the gaze was her cue to step up onto the stage. From there, she focused solely on not looking.
She sat down on the piano bench in a sky blue color, a long, almost Victorian dress that she no doubt felt pretty in. Her hair laid braided over her shoulder and she was all but grateful that she wasn’t sweating off the makeup she’d put on. It was unnecessary, perhaps, but because she knew Miu was watching her it was worth it.
Kaede would be surprised if she noticed taking a single breath before the final note of the piece was played. She stood and gave the deepest bow she could muster, disappeared off the stage as soon as she had had enough of the applause.

Kaede waited for the inventor somewhere near the exit. Miu was as excited as Kaede had dreamed, and then some. “Holy shit! Don’t get me wrong, I was fuckin’ stewing there for a hot sec waiting for you, but then—shit!” They laughed and hugged, not nearly tight enough. “Kaede, that was beautiful. I knew you said you played piano but I didn’t know it was like that!”
“Thank you! I really worried that you were mad at me—I mean, you were, but I’m glad you liked it! In the end.” Kaede finally got a look at the way Miu was dressed as they separated. A satin slip, fading from pink to red. High ponytail and jewelry that probably produced light in total darkness. “And you look… so amazing and pretty and I wouldn’t have wanted to, yknow, waste all that.”
“Yeah! I busted my ass to look this hot, I swear… and not in a likable way either! But.. I’m happy you like it. Thanks, Kaede.” Miu took her hand and held it, and it was a perfect thing. She was looking at what the both of them were wearing, just as Kaede had done a second before. “There’s totally different vibes going on here, but that’s not something I give a fuck about. You are stunning! A real princess.” Miu goes a little pink in the face as she speaks and the awestruck words have Kaede flushing red. It was too much and not enough.
“Thank you, Miu! This was really fun! I really liked performing for you. And everyone else, I guess.” It was a joke, partially.
“I think I only liked the piece when you played it.”
“Have you ever even heard it before today?”
“Didn’t need to! Okay, so I know it’s like, whatever-o-clock, but I feel like we should go somewhere else. Can we? I’m not going home yet.” Miu made her way outside, and Kaede was effectively dragged with her. She giggled, lifting her dress to step over puddles on the ground.
“Where could we even go, Miu?” She wasn’t objecting to the idea; frankly, she would spend the whole night with Miu if fate somehow allowed. She didn’t think it was possible now but she wanted it so badly. Anywhere would suffice.
“I don’t know, somewhere! Maybe we should find another piano, so you can play more for me. Put on a show.”
Kaede laughed at the persistence. “I don’t need to play piano all the time. You actually shouldn’t enable me! I won’t stop.”
“Well then I should, right? Why would I want you to stop?”
At least it was a nice sentiment.

A Few Things To Think About ( #774 ) ( A few parables for the amusement and entertainment of my family, friends and loved ones ) 1.) I wonder how many men die each year as a fool to a pretty smile. 2.) If you marry a woman who can not cook and you also cannot cook, go to cooking classes together and learn together. Either that or learn how to starve together. 3.) If we do not know how to laugh we…

Title: Rosé meet you on a blind date.
Pairing: Rosé|You. [GxG]
Warnings: None.
Words:774.
Chaeyoung Park doesn't like going on a blind date since she won't know who she would meet there until Jennie Kim showed her a picture from you. Her jawline dropped when she saw what you looked like she couldn't help herself from getting excited about meeting you on a blind date and her cheeks flushed red when she realized that she would go on a blind date with a beautiful woman like you. Jennie smirked at the face expression from Chaeyoung since she knew that you her best friend would get along perfectly with her other best friend Chaeyoung. Her wifey and Rosie Posie.
Chaeyoung decided to get dressed into a beautiful black YSL suits, matching belt and long boots. Jennie told her that she would meet you at the restaurant where you both are supposed to meet at. Jennie couldn't help herself from laughing when she saw Chaeyoung doing a happy dance in the dorm that they shared with Lisoo. Jennie knew you and Chaeyoung would be perfect for each other since you both have similar interests besides personality.
„I am gonna go now. Unnie. Bye." Mumbled Chaeyoung with happiness and excitement in her voice.
Jennie only yelled bye before she shook her head and giggled she felt like they were back in their childhood. She couldn't wait to tell Lisoo about everything when they get home from their chicken eating date.
- -
You waited at the front door from the restaurant wearing a beautiful black dress from Gucci that fit you in the right place's with matching high heels and bag. You worked as a successful lawyer and almost always wins every case that you get as  a worldwide known lawyer. Suddenly a beautiful woman with blonde weavy hair walked towards the entrance exactly where you was standing waiting in front of the restaurant who wore a beautiful suits with tie from YSL.
„Helloer are you Y/N...?" asked Chaeyoung Park with nervousness in her voice which has an Aussie accent.
„Yes that's me. You must be Chaeyoung. It's a pleasure to meet you Ms Park." Flirted you with honesty in your voice.
Chaeyoung felt her cheeks flushing red in a blush when she realized that you've been flirting with her Jennie definitely made the right choice when she let you meet Chaeyoung. She blushed even further when she saw you kneeling kissing the back from her hand. She couldn't help the smile that tug on her lips at this gesture from you.
„It's a pleasure to meet you too Ms Y/L/N Jennie definitely knows my taste in woman. Now let's get delicious food my lady." Purred Chaeyoung flirtatious in her voice with an Aussie accent. She took your hand leading you towards the front door which she held open for you with one hand.
„Such a charming gentle woman you are Ms Park." Whispered you with excitement in your voice. Chaeyoung grins for a moment before she got the receptionist to lead you both towards a table that was reserved under Ms Kim.
You sat down on the chair that Chaeyoung held out for you then moved the chair towards the table that had a candle with vanilla scent on it. The receptionist light up the candle by Chaeyoung's demanding.
„The waitress will be with you very soon." Said the receptionist with professional seriousness in his voice while bowing down.
You both thanked the receptionist bowing down before the two of you couldn't stop staring at each other with admiration and she couldn't wait to get to know more about you. That's how your blind date started with a wonderful deep meaningful conversation where you both introduced yourselves towards each other followed by holding hands on the table and countless flirting with each other even when you both ate long time ago.
Later you both walked away from the restaurant with a happy expression on the face she laughed when you told her a funny story about what happened to your work one time. She put a hand on your shoulder to lean on you for support since she couldn't stop laughing. You laughed along with her when you stopped you only admired her beautiful laugh and feature but mostly how attractive she looked into the black YSL suits with matching tie.
No one in the restaurant flirted with either of you even though they found you both attractive because everyone in the restaurant could see how happy you both looked already around each other and they definitely didn't wanna destroy that blossom start of a beautiful relationship which happens two months later after countless of dates with each other.

Comics this week (6/23/2021)?
Anonymous asked: Comics this week?
adudewholikescomicsandotherstuff asked: New comics?
Heroes Return #1: Very dumb and very pointless and I enjoyed it all the way through, pretty much as I expected from the moment it was announced.
Gamma Flight #1: Mostly a solid little spinoff, though there's one emotional moment handled with a sledgehammer instead of a scalpel that pulled me out of it in a big way.
Guardians of the Galaxy #15: The crossover here is one I wouldn't have even bet on Ewing managing to wring all that much out of, but that would have been me being foolish. Juan Frigeri's art is starting to grate on me a little though; maybe in a vacuum it would've been fine, but it's rough moving from Juann Cabaal putting out industry-best work with every issue to "what if Liefeld was functional".
S.W.O.R.D. #6: Hell yeah hell yeah hell yeah
Fantastic Four: Life Story #2: An improvement from the first issue I suppose but this still isn't great and I don't foresee it much improving, and the apparent awkward attempts to line up with Spider-Man: Life Story aren't much helping. Russell's really letting me down here.
The Blue Flame #2: Feels like it's getting somewhere but I'd really appreciate a little clarity on whether this is a mini or not.
Batman/Superman #19: It can't quite keep up the worlds-colliding conceptual momentum of the previous issues, but assorted period shenanigans as envisioned by Lieber and Robertson aren't something I'm inclined to complain about.
RWBY/Justice League (digital) #13: Enjoyable, but I really feel like the ideal version of this book would have either been Bennett getting to make it fully character-centric, or someone else handling it if it had to be a big fight-then-team-up traditional crossover because her heart hasn't been in this the way it was the original mini, some fun moments aside. Again, hoping against hope for a sequel that's able to pivot in a more grounded direction, because I think that could be something special.
Infinite Frontier #1: Wasn't expecting to get this but I asked dad and he was interested, and lo and behold this was pretty decent after all! A serviceable execution of fun ideas across a number of scales with really, really slick art from Xermanico.
Justice League #63: Hope now that the Naomi ad is out of the way (not that I'm not looking forward to that show) the next arc will have some more meat to chew on, because even given that his Superman work was lightning in a bottle while this represents a return to form I really think Bendis could do something better with this. As usual the V/Xermanico backup is the highlight.
Superman #32: Dammit, yeah, okay, this got me in the end.
Action Comics #1032: If you'd told me a year ago that after Bendis left Action would be about Superman dealing with Mongul and Aquaman I think I would have broken down in tears, but this is easily the best this book has been outside of Morrison and Pak's runs in decades and probably the consistently best-looking it's ever been. And lol at the big twist here not exactly proving my "PKJ writes Superman as Nice Conan" thesis wrong. (Though I could see folks having problems with some of the imagery here.)
Wonder Woman #774: Didn't enjoy this as much as the last few issues but soon we're getting into the multiverse and a couple great guest artist before Moore comes back, so I'm good.
Wonder Woman: Black and Gold #1: The Mendez/Doyle/Carey story was a fun little laugh, Shammas/Beem/Maher was a valiant effort at trying to reconcile Diana's different interpretations, Arcudi/Sook/Heisler did fine even if their story went the way this kind always does, Reeder/Downie were a hoot, and Cloonan/Brosseau's closer was appropriately atmospheric and mythic but I'm not fond of their interpretation of the Lasso as a force of horror and shame.
Batman: Reptilian #1: An incredibly mean hoot, wouldn't think writing operating in the Miller mold alongside art going for a McKean vibe could possibly work but here this is, delighting me. There's a lot of work these days going into deproblematizing Batman and the way Tynion for instance is handling it is working for me, but sometimes it's still great to watch him be a horrifying, nasty sonofabitch to some hapless goon. And I love that since this is a comic I can't quiiiiite be sure whether the couple instances of Ennis "god, aren't they so dumb and ridiculous?" superhero-speak are meant to burst the atmospheric bubble a bit or are just Batman being very sarcastic, an uneasy uncertainty that very much fits the tone here.
