Danny takes a deep breath and then rips a portal into existence before flying through and closing it

Immediately the people in the room get into defensive position and Danny flinches, curling into himself

"I have a message to wonder woman from pandora and-"

"Oh god, welcome your Highness, put your weapons down we don't want to insult him, it's an honor"

Constantine and zatana stood up and tried to make themselves look more presentable

Danny relaxed and smiled at them, slightly embarrassed

"Oh, uh, none of that I'm here as a messenger, there will be a tournament soon, a friendly one, and pandora was wondering if wonder Woman would like to join"

He then flew over to here and gave her a paper, everyone lazer focused on it

"Here is all the information, if you would like to join, rip it and it will automatically summon you, if you don't then it will Dissapear after a certain time... Well, that's it it bye"

He then disappeared leaving behind a group of confused and awed individuals

"Oh my god that was the king of infinity realms" shazam said awed, with Constantine and zatana nodding

All three ignoring the questions from others and wonder Woman kindly ignoring Batman's demand for the paper

Pandora asked her to come, nothing will stay in between that

#this is what I think anyways #my art #dc #dc comics #clark kent #superman #bruce wayne #batman #wonder woman #diana of themiscyra #diana prince #dc trinity #you could honestly argue that any of these apply to all of them but #I think they most strongly apply to these pairings #like Bruce is also pretty lonely but Diana and Clark’s detachment from their homes specifically #is a consistent weakness for them #kryptonite literally being the shattered remains of Clark’s world and any threats or changes to themyscira being what always gets #an emotional reaction out of Diana in fights… they both have homes they’re unable to return to #and Diana is also pretty bad at opening up to people but only because she isn’t aware she has any problems to begin with #Bruce and Clark at least somewhat know when they have an issue. and then tell nobody anyways #Diana and Bruce ohh their parallels make me crazy #their incredible devotion to being a protector that they get so absorbed in they can’t see themselves as anything outside of it?? crazy #I think Clark and Diana also have a shared complicated relationship to their public idolization but I couldn’t #fit that into a concise sentence #I care for them so deeply. Metropolis, on average, is likely to have much higher than average rent than Gotham. Reporters, non tv ones esp., don’t get paid that much these days with the gradual decline of print media. Probably lower than average for someone aiming to keep a low profile.

My point is, that rent in metropolis sucks ass and Clark just starting at the daily planet and running off to be superman all the time, is just. having an awful fucking time, because to be superman he can’t have roommates. He probably ends up doing some part time jobs with odd hours to keep his secret.

And most people also don’t know that superman HAS a secret identity in the early days and think he just. full time lives at the north pole.

So when the jla starts, no one KNOWS he has secret identity and Clark isn’t particularly keen on exposing it so he just. keeps coming up with bullshit ass excuses why he is randomly offline sometimes.

FLASH : Hey supes, why weren’t you at the meeting yesterday-

GREEN LANTERN : Got a hot date?

CLARK : I was, uh. Preparing for my hibernation.

 AQUAMAN : Your fucking WHAT

MARTIAN MANHUNTER, FULLY AWARE THAT CLARK IS MAKING BULLSHIT UP : Many species do such things-

FLASH : Alien species??

WONDER WOMAN, ASLO AWARE THAT HE’S LYING : Flash, Kal is also an alien, no matter how similar to humans he may look.

WONDER WOMAN : Kal, If there is anything we can do to assist-

CLARK : No, No, No it’s, it’s fine, it’s not a big deal-

BATMAN, AWARE OF HIS SECRET IDENTITY : It IS a big deal, superman. If one of our strongest is to be out of commission for an extended period of time-

CLARK : Oh, I won’t- We, we do it in shifts.

WONDER WOMAN : Is that so, Kal?

CLARK : Yeah, h. haha. 

Smash cut to a few years later-

KARA : YOU TOLD THEM WE DO WHAT

CLARK : I PANICKED OK?

Batman, leaving his birds in the Justice League's care for a few days: A few rules for looking after my anklebiters are as follows: Make sure to keep anything peanut away from Tim and don't let him have cheese. He's allergic but he'll try to eat it anyway. Jason needs to be given his space, and don't interrupt him while he's reading unless it's absolutely necessary. Diana stands the best chance of not being shot in that case. Stephanie doesn't like being alone for too long, and Cass shouldn't be left alone for too long. Things happen. Duke forgets that not everyone is as sturdy as he is, especially his siblings, Clark I'm trusting you specifically to keep an eye on him. Dick can mostly take care of himself but not if he's spending too much time taking care of the others, make sure he doesn't overwork himself. Good luck dealing with Damian, nothing I say is going to help you there except give him some art supplies and keep the knives away from him if you can.
