AiO Thought of the Week

Age is truly just a foreign concept in Odyssey and there are no true answers but here are my headcannons:

Katrina is older than Eugene from somewhere to a few months upto a year and a half.

Eugene was 17-18 when he was hired at Whit’s End but is widely assumed to be older because of his voice and academic level but he 100% looked his age.

The writers said on the official pod Jay's age is a dependent variable. So I think when Jay is hanging out with Zoey, Buddy, or any of the other middle schoolers he is 13/14. With the rare exception, Jay is otherwise 17 however his appearance is still skued toward the 13/14.(this might be because of his height but that's a different headcannon) These numbers only apply to album 58 and beyond before that he is younger and is more consistent in age.

Jason is in his 40s.

Connie still hasn't quite reached her 30s but is almost there. I know she's still earning her degree but if Eugene is any indication 10yrs is not an unreasonable amount of time for a degree from CCCC. Plus I think she's swapped majors like 3 times.

Eugene and Katrina are very early 30s

Whit despite being born in 1925/26 is an ageless being of perpetual Eldersness and is therefore older than anyone in a given room and yet, still possess the ability to out-manuver the authorities both physically and mentally

Jack and Wilson are also ageless beings but not on Whit's level.

Tom lived just out of town and so aged normally, I guess. I have no evidence but I feel like he was born in 1931.

Bernard despite being one of the original "old men that make up Connie’s friend group" is good decade or so younger than Tom and Whit, still way older than Connie though.

will bother you. scratch your feet, tickle your face with hair, kisses all over your face. just enough of that and you’re sure to be awake.

TOO SOFT. doesn’t have the heart to wake you up. you look so peaceful <33. but if it’s important they’ll caress your face and softly shake you awake.

they’ll shake you awake first then leave to get themselves ready. if you’re not awake by time they’re done, they won’t hesitate to snatch that blanket and pull you out that bed.

Yu Q. Wilson

“Shit,” you whispered to yourself as you awoke from your slumber feeling the muscle soreness from yesterday. Yu Q Wilson, you rat, You thought to yourself. He was way too rough last night. I guess you couldn’t blame him because of the fact that he hasn’t seen you in awhile because of his work.

You felt arms wrap around your waist from behind pulling you closer to Yu’s body.

“Why’re you mad, baby?” you heard him ask with his smooth morning voice.

You turned over to look at him with his hair disheveled. You put your hand into his soft blonde strands brushing them out of his eyes.

“My whole body hurtssss,” you said while groaning.

He chuckled to himsel;f, obviously knowing that it was his fault that you were sore.

“My bad~” he said as you rolled your eyes at him.

“Maybe you shouldn’t have gone more than once yesterday. You were like a damn feral dog,” you said.

“Then maybe you shouldn’t have kept saying ‘Yu don’t stop’ or ‘fuck me har-” you interupted his attempts to impersonate you by covering his mouth with your hand.

You saw him smile with his eyes as he peeled your hand off of his mouth.

“Fine, sorry. I won't be so rough next time… unless you ask me to be~” he said as he pressed his soft lips against yours.

He leaned a little closer into the kiss starting to move his tongue a little bit until he suddenly pulled away.

You pouted at him, “The hell, Yu?”

He laughed at your cute attempts to be mad at him, “Hmm we need to get up, we’ve got quite a few things to do today,” he said as you pouted some more.

He looked at you with a deadpan look, “Fine, but only one more kiss,”

Luca Kaneshiro

Luca hadn’t come home last night from work. You were worried that he had gotten hurt at work so you didn’t get to sleep at all yesterday. You got startled by the sound of your front door opening and closing loudly. You wiped your tears of worry to run to the living room expecting to see your boyfriend covered in blood. Sure enough, you were correct. He was covered in blood with small splashes across his cheek and many spots on his clothing stained by the red substance. You ran up to him, shoving yourself into his arms and putting your face into his (BIG BOOBA) chest. He wrapped his arms around your waist slightly chuckling.

You pulled away from his (boobs) chest for a moment, “Are you okay? WHat happened? You- you’re not hurt, right?” you said as your hands wandered his body checking for any injuries.

“No I’m okay, I promise,” he said as he brushed your disheveled hair out of your face, noticing the dark circles under your eyes causing him to sigh knowing you didn’t get any sleep because you were worried about him. “Baby, did you get any sleep last night?”

You shook your head in response. He rubbed his finger under your eye.

“Me neither,” he laughed slightly.

“Well I’m not sleeping in the same bed as you until you wash up,” you smiled.

“Help me with the mess?~” he said, proceeding to kiss your lips after.

“Of course,”

Ren Zotto

You woke up from your sleep to hear loud talking and laughing in your shared apartment with your boyfriend Ren Zotto. You got out of bed and went to the bathroom to do your business. You walked into the living room to see Aster, Kyo, and Ren sitting at your dining room table.

“Wus poppin’ y/n” you heard Kyo say.

You rolled your eyes and greeted him as you made your way towards your boyfriend.

“Mornin’ baby~ You sleep well?” he said, bringing you into his lap.

You shrugged not wanting to directly tell him no, “What are you guys up to today?”

“We were just dropping a few things off at his place,” Aster replied.

“And we were just leaving, right Aster?” Kyo asked, getting a nod from Aster in return.

They soon went on their way, leaving you and your boyfriend alone at the dining table while you were in his lap. You yawned into your hand knowing that you both didn’t get a good sleep last night.

“You alright princess?” Ren asked you.

“Yeah, just tired,” you said, nuzzling your face into his neck.

“Hmmm, yeah? Why don’t we lay down and cuddle, then we can do whatever you want,”

Ver Vermillion

You tossed and turned in you and Ver’s shared bed, waiting for him to wake up. It was already 12 pm. You were getting impatient and you didn’t wanna just leave him there to wake up without you. So you came up with a whole plan to wake him up. You reached to get your water bottle on the nightstand to flick some water on his head, when all of a sudden you felt hands pull your hips back down to the bed.

“Oh, so now you wake up?” you turned to face Ver.

He groaned to himself, “Well, I’m exhausted still,”

You brushed through his soft hair, “Well that’s your fault. You stayed way too long at the student council meeting. So now that we agree that it’s your fault, it’s time to get up baby,”

He groaned again as you rolled your eyes at him for what felt like the hundredth time. You then got an idea in your head that would definitely get Ver to start his day with you.

“What if… you took a shower with me because me and you both know you did not take a shower or change out of your uniform when you got home,” you laughed.

He finally opened his eyes and looked at you. Then, he leaned in to press his lips against yours for a fast peck, “Deal~”

Alexander Knox does what he can to warm up a man who was probably rather chilly in real life.
