Professional effects and audio enhancement tools.
If you need a decent voice remover with some professional audio editing tools, WavePad is worth considering.
#VOICE EDITING APPS FOR PC SOFTWARE#
However, this software offers all effects and filters you might need, including echo, reverb, and delay. Unlike AudioDirector, WavePad doesn’t allow you to record multiple tracks simultaneously. If the vocals are still audible after using the default voice reduction, you will need to play around with the tool’s frequency settings, which can be time-consuming. WavePad’s vocal reduction feature falls under the effects category, and you can use this tool to change the track’s pan position while preserving drums, bass, and other low frequencies. A user-friendly interface is WavePad’s most notable feature, and novice audio directors will have no problem using this software. WavePad is also compatible with various input audio files, and you can use the program to create tracks in a wide range of formats, including WAV and MP3. WavePad is an audio editor with a built-in voice remover you can use to create karaoke and backing tracks.
Lacks other audio recording and editing features.
Not user-friendly for beginner audio editors.
If you are working with a compressed file, removing vocals with Adobe Audition can be challenging. The quality of the resulting instrumental track depends on the original file’s quality. The software removes vocals by separating the different pitches within the track, then letting you choose the frequencies you want to remove. Adobe regularly updates this product, ensuring that you get access to the highest possible sound quality and the latest AI-based features.Īdobe Audition is part of the Adobe suite, but you can also purchase it as a standalone product. This software has an excellent track record among professionals, and audio editors have been using it since 2003.

note: the first meme is minho i swear. anyways first written chapter yaaaay !!
__
The only sounds coming from Newt’s apartment were the whirring of his pc and the shuffle of his friend situating himself on the living room couch. Newt was stationed in the corner of the small apartment, typing away at his computer, head down and floppy blond hair over his forehead.
“Dude, chill. You’re going to give yourself carpal tunnel from typing that fast.” Minho said from his spot on the sofa. His hands were behind his head, feet on the coffee table and shooting a judgmental look Newt’s way.
The older looked over his shoulder, running a hand through his hair. “I thought I told you to stop putting your nasty feet on my table.” He retorted.
Minho rolled his eyes, dramatically stomping his feet back on the ground. Another look was shot his way, curtesy of Newt before he turned back around, focusing again on his screen. “We getting on Minecraft or what, man?” Minho sighed, putting his laptop on his lap.
“Uh, yeah, go ahead and get on. I just finished my work and I’m gonna join the call.” Newt mumbled, taking hold of his mouse to click off of the library website he was editing, and switch to the Discord app. It took a second for him to find ‘The Glade’ group, noticing three active members in the voice chat to the left side of the main chat. He suddenly saw the chat moving as an alert popped up, showing that a familiar name was typing.
y/n: yooo newt get on!!
y/n: i see you online. get on call! we need a voice of reason
Newt’s dark eyes flew across the screen, a small smile gracing his lips as he read what you said. Behind him, Newt could hear Minho scoffing. The sound must have sobered the blond up, since his smile fell and he coughed to snap himself out of it.
“Dude, how come she asked you to join? I’m online too!” Minho grumbled like a spoiled kid.
Newt smirked, sending him a look again from over his shoulder. “Because she needs a voice of reason, or so she says. You’d only serve to make things worse in whatever is going on in that call.” The older snickered, and a harsh glare came from his friend. Newt swore he heard Minho mutter a few curses under his breath as he turned back around, but he let it go.
Clearing his throat, Newt clicked on the voice chat and prepared himself. An onslaught of voices immediately filled his ears, a mix of halfhearted arguing and giggles from Alby, Gally, and yourself. As usual, dark eyes instantly found the small square that housed the image of you and Newt couldn’t control the smile that lit up his face.
“Newt!” You beamed right back at him, waving through the screen.
“Y/n!” The blond reciprocated the wave and felt his cheeks heat up as you giggled a bit.
A few groans lit up the call belonging to Alby and Gally. The two had a similar set up going on; sitting in front of their fancy gaming computers while adorning a headset, a bit distracted as they played Minecraft.
“You could say hey to us too, Newt.” Alby sassed, with a broad grin and raised brows.
“Yeah, but you guys probably caused whatever problem is going on." Newt chuckled. This elicited a furious nod from you in the corner, and Alby immediately began wagging his finger in the camera with a series of 'no, no, no's.
"Sure, go see what Y/n did to my house." Gally remarked the bottom left corner of the screen and rolled his eyes.
"I only blew half of it up because you destroyed my shed!" You gasped at Gally. Newt's smile grew at their antics.
"You mean my shed that you've been squatting in!" Gally shouted back at her. There was a hint of an amused smile on his face despite the obvious irritation about the TNT blowing his hard work up. Newt figured it would have been a bigger deal if it was anyone else's property, but Gally was an absolute beast at Minecraft; he could fix any damage within mere minutes.
Before you could retort, the sound of another person joining the call cut you off. A vertical screen stretched to fit the layout, and a blurry image of a familiar brunette was shown.
"Heyyyy, guys!" Thomas sing-songed out, holding his phone up in the air like a stereotypical dad. He was clearly walking along the snow covered streets, wired headphones in as he adjusted his beanie. The crew let out a chorus of 'hey man's and 'hey Tommy's'.
"Where the hell are you?" Newt asked, laughter laced in his voice, head tilted to the side to decipher where his friend was going.
"Uhhh, I'm on my way home," Thomas started, looking around as snow began to fall a bit, almost seeming unsure of his own words, "I think, at least."
"You think?" Newt echoed, amused.
"You're like one of those kids who need a leash on their backpacks." You said, grinning at your best friend as he trudged along the almost barren stone street of New York.
Thomas shrugged, a little laugh bubbling out. "I guess. I kinda got lost, I thought this old lady was following me so I faked her out and went a weird direction. Now I'm in a fancy neighborhood." He explained.
Alby, Newt, yourself, and even Minho from behind Newt let out a loud laugh.
"Dumbass." Gally snickered, grinning for once on the call.
"Tommy, you're nuts." You mumbled, hand moving rapidly along with your mouse as you tried to fix your shed, eyes glancing back and forth between the screens.
"Who was that? Is Min there?" Alby questioned, squinting at Newt's image on the screen.
Newt scooted his rolling chair to the side to reveal Minho's slouched over form on the couch. The man's smile comically fell as he was revealed, almost like he had an upset image to keep up (he did). "Wow, you know my laugh anywhere. You're obsessed with me." It was Minho's turn to sass out, as usual.
Alby rolled his eyes and Tommy grinned at the sight of their friend. "Minho! Hey, buddy!" The latter waved enthusiastically as he trudged the quickly darkening streets. Minho simply flashed a middle finger, making him pout.
"Join the call, Min. You should get on Minecraft too." You piped up, eyes looking away from your phone camera and glued to your laptop.
"No, fuck you guys. I'm mad at you." Minho all but shouted, arms crossed and leaning back on the couch.
Newt scooted more into the frame again, shaking his head. "He's pissed still, as you can tell."
"You're the one who removed him." Alby said, clearly annoyed.
"But you guys are the ones who didn't add me back!" Minho shouted again, glaring at the screen from his spot.
"I added you back!" Alby corrected him.
"Oh, please." Minho didn't know how to reply, so he just scoffed at the man. He was right after all, and Min didn't like being wrong.
Newt shook his head, leaning back in his chair. He shrunk the screen a bit to pull up Minecraft, eager to see what kind of damage was done to everyone's homes.
They had build up a cute little town: dark oak houses, each unique to every person who built them, all leading up to a giant cherry blossom mansion that Gally resided in. The shed beside the mansion housed any stray horses found—each horse assigned to a different person—and your own little blue bed. You refused to live in your own home after everyone made fun of the dirt house you and Tommy built together. Unlike you, Tommy stood his ground and stayed inside of it. You chose to spite everyone who made fun of you and move into the public stables, inconveniencing them.
Newt crossed his arms and patiently waited for his game to load as he tuned back into the conversation. You had convinced Minho to play with all of you if you gave him your hard earned diamond—emphasis on the singularity of the use of diamond. You often had a hard time mining without dying, so you took pride in your jewel.
"Oh, c'mon. That just means you'll steal more of my shit." Newt said, pretending to sound exasperated.
At the sound of his British accent rolling through your speakers like honey, your eyes immediately darted back to the screen to see Newt's smirk. A blush emerged on your cheeks and you bashfully smiled. "No, I won't! I swear." You said, a bit embarrassed.
Newt didn't mind you borrowing his things, and he had an inkling that you knew that. "Sure, I bet that'll last for an hour." He chuckled.
Internally, Newt was giddy at your interaction like a school girl. Now he was internally embarrassed. At the perfect time, his game screen loaded and he began playing the game to distract himself.
"Guys, promise me you'll tell me if there's someone behind me." Thomas piped up while trekking through the streets. Everyone monotonously agreed, not fully paying attention.
"Guys, c'mon!" Thomas whined incessantly, sounding like a little kid. You giggled and assured him you'd keep an eye out, and he seemed to calm down at those words.
With that, the group gaming really started up. It was weird without Thomas being online and his little character not moving around, but his constant talking filled the void.
On the other side of the screen you were reeling at the sight of Newt. He was focused on the game, lip between his teeth, brows taut, and messy, thick, blond hair splayed over his forehead like a golden crown. Brown eyes constantly flickering around the screen but somehow finding their home on you in the end—or at least you hoped.
Newt was thinking similar things about you. Eyes catching your form every time you moved your hair to the other shoulder, or ran your hand through it. He tried not to be obvious and strayed away from glancing over at every movement, but it was hard. If he caught your gaze, he would waggle his brows a bit, and you would dissolve into that cute little smile that lit up his stomach in butterflies. Thankfully, no one noticed your interactions—or at least that's what both of you told yourselves.
By the time Thomas got to his own apartment, and those affected rebuilt their in-game homes, things were slowing down and tiredness overcame most of you. Even Minho's shit talk from behind Newt had almost came to a halt. The first one out was Gally, claiming he had work tomorrow. Next was you.
“G’night, you guys. I have a 9 am Zoom class tomorrow, I gotta be up early.” You grumbled. A hand came up to lazily rub at your eyes as you carried your phone to your room, and Newt resisted the urge to say something along the lines of 'goodnight sweetheart' (which he didn't know why that popped up in his brain).
The group of guys chorused a goodnight to you, all waving. Newt stared at your image, your sweet smile that would stick in his mind long after you hung up. The sound of you leaving echoed in his brain as he stared at the spot where you once were. That is, until Alby's video replaced where yours once was and he scowled.
"What's with the stink face?" Thomas gawked at his friend from where he laid on his bed, phone sat up next to him on the pillow. His friends sudden smile turning into a stoic expression startled him.
"His girlfriend left, that's what." Minho said, walking up behind Newt. Min placed his hands on Newt's shoulders, and the blond shot him a dirty look, shaking his hands off.
"Shut up. The fuck does that mean?" Newt grumbled. Everyone seemed to notice how bothered Newt sounded, which only made smirks grow wider. Everyone but Tommy, who was just about half asleep by now.
"Ahhh," Minho started and tapped Newt's bicep, "just as we all thought." Minho left it at that and stood up straighter, hands on his hips. Newt looked up at him entirely confused.
"Do you guys talk outside of the groupchat?" Alby asked.
"We talkin' about Y/n?" Thomas slurred out.
"Yes, dumbass." Minho leaned down so Thomas could see his annoyed face, but his eyes were closed.
"Uhhhh, not too much, no." Newt shrugged. "Why does it matter?"
Minho gave him an 'are you actually stupid?' type of look, arms crossing as he gazed down at his best friend. "'Why does it matta?'" He mocked his accent, "It matters cause it'll show her you like her!" Arms flew up in the air, as if the answer was obvious.
All Newt could manage to do was look to the side, tongue to his cheek as he ignored the blossoming blush thanks to the topic.
"Min is right, dude! You should talk to her more." Alby's words seemed more encouraging than Minho's. Maybe it was due to the fact that all Minho ever expressed was sarcasm and disdain, but Newt just didn't find him as earnest as Alby at the moment.
"They're right," Thomas piped up, lazy smile on his face. "She's super easy to talk to."
"What?" They all bellowed out in unison.
"You talk to her?" Newt was flabbergasted at this new revelation.
"Uh, duh. She's my best friend. So what?" Thomas scrunched up his brows, eyes cracking open.
Newt just scoffed and shook his head. He wasn't jealous, just.. at a loss for words. "Alright, on that note, goodnight." Newt punctuated his goodbye with a press to the 'end call' button.
The black screen faced both boys, and Newt quickly stood, beelining for his kitchen to make some tea.
"Dude, you call me dramatic." Minho grumbled. Newt just gave him the umpteenth pointed look of the night from his spot next to the sink. As soon as the blond turned around to put the kettle on, filling it up for two, Minho let his knowing smile show.
"You stayin' the night?" The older one called from the kitchen. He decided to ignore whatever that humiliating topic was prior.
Minho plopped down on the couch, head in the pillow, and fishing for the television remote. "You know it." He said. It wasn't odd for Minho to spend the night, as the couch was honestly dedicated to man at this point. Newt liked the company anyways.
The best friends fell into a rhythm of one finding a Netflix show and the other preparing two mugs of tea (Minho usually detested it, claiming it was too British for him, but he surprisingly learned to like it. He would never admit it, but he actually found himself making some tea when he was at home).
Newt had the previous short conversation replaying in his mind over and over as he zoned out while waiting for the water to boil. Did he really like Y/n like that? Yeah, she was gorgeous, and he always found himself looking for her approval and reactions, but he didn't want to be that guy who liked the only girl in the friend group. Although, he knew the situation wasn't really like that.
As Newt brought over the steaming hot mugs and sat on the opposite couch from his friend, waiting for whatever action movie was pulled up to play, he decided talking to Y/n more wasn't such a bad idea.

If you are interested in Arknights Lore, I am begging you to go and read it for yourself. There's been a LOT of wild theories and speculation being tossed out there right now that are basically being presented as fact and so many of them don't stand up even to a little bit of scrutiny when compared to actual text.
Places to read AK lore (tumblr hates links apparently so search terms are bolded):
The game itself. It's available via the google and app store. It can be played on a smart phone, any ios or Android tablet or a PC/laptop through the use of an emulator. The big two are Bluestacks and LD Player. (Support the devs but be careful of the gacha part. It's still a form of gambling.)
Arknights Story Reader. This contains transcripts of all Main Chapter, Event and Side Stories along with Operators Recs. It also includes a handful of the side stuff seen in certain events, namely the secret endings from NearLight and stuff from SN. The text for all four regions is included here.
Aceship. This site contains transcripts of operator stats, abilities, modules, module lore, operator record lore and voicelines. I think they also have skin lore.
There’s some people posting read out-louds and the cutscenes from the game on youtube. There’s also people summarizing each event/lore. If you want to read the story without any voice overs, I recommend searching for Shoul Arknights Story Collection. They’ve captured all the story sequences and uploaded it to their channel.
But seriously. PLEASE go look at the source material and make your own decisions. Don’t accept spoonfed answers.
One last caveat to all this.
CN Lore.
This is story from events, chapters and characters that have been release on the mainland Chinese servers but have NOT out on Global yet (this includes the EN/JP/KR servers). Be careful when dealing with CN Lore. I personally have found that there’s a ton of misinformation out there or just very bad translations. Don’t take just one person’s take/summary/opinion on CN lore. The best thing to do with that is to read lots of people’s summaries, if you can find them, or just wait until the Global version drops six months later.
EDIT 10/28/22:
Removed the Arknights Wiki recommendation and replaced it with the Story Reader for better accessibility, more source content and less nonsense.
Also enjoy the anime everyone.

This isn’t a request more of a question, do you have any recommended AAC apps? There’s so many and it’s overwhelming
We've only tried 3, those being TD Snap, CoughDrop, and LetMeTalk.
We really don't recommend LetMeTalk. It's good in that it's free, but that's about all there is going for it. It doesn't get active support and there's no way to contact the developers so you can easily get locked out, and I don't believe there are many voice options either
CoughDrop is fine. Not our favourite, and recently there have been some concerns since if I remember right, they were acquired by a Christian company that proselytizes (tries to convert others to their faith), and they are able to view user's boards without permission. They're also laggy. That said, they have a long free trial, and if you want to get started with AAC but aren't sure if you want to spend the money yet for a more robust system, CoughDrop can help you trial that. It can also be edited on desktop, not just on your device, which we do like
TD Snap is our favourite and what we currently use. It's similar enough to CoughDrop that it's easy to switch to after the former's trial (like we did), but it works so much better. It's easy to edit, it has a lot of voice options (though mind you, some are paid), and it uses the PCS Symbols, which we find are mostly comprehensive and more diverse than other symbol sets. It's cheaper than a lot of other robust AAC systems are but it does cost, and it also only works on iPad (and Windows, but that's for far more expensive), so you can't use it on a phone
Here's a Google Document (https://docs.google.com/document/d/1ofeQKoN6p3uI7FhWSZCGULA2rJCJgS1RAR6zxeON4Vk/edit#heading=h.xplqkmtex4xd) that has information on different AAC systems, as well as a lot more resources related to other AAC things. We used it for our own AAC decisions like purchasing an iPad and choosing an app, and we got permission to share it

Hey you! Are you new to art and feel uncomfortable asking questions about what tools people use to create art and/or have asked and been ignored or told off for it? Well, those people were jerks and you deserve answers. So, feel free to ask me! Anon or not. Whatever you’re comfortable with.
My artsy ‘resume’ is below, but I also am generally good at research so anything I don’t feel I know with confidence I can still help put together some info for you.
Art types that I have the most experienced with:
Comics- traditional and digital. including pencils, inks, colors, lettering (not my strongest), layout/printing, etc.
Illustration- different style types, including but not limited to: general illustration, book covers, children’s books, horror/graphic, etc.
Photography and photo editing- general, fantasy/art photography, portrait, animals, nature, etc.
Animation- mostly 2D and some 3D. Storyboarding/animatic/full projects, stop motion, voice acting (not my strongest), backgrounds/effects (not my strongest), props, etc.
Traditional arts: pencils, charcoal, oils, acrylic, watercolor, ink, printmaking (not my strongest, but I know a lot about it), figure study, still life, etc.
Printing/merch: sticker making at home and with pro printers, mugs, calendars, fabric printing, art prints, etc. Multiple merchants so just ask!
Tools:
Wacom Cintiq 16 (current)
(Have used a Wacom Intuos before)
iPad w pencil (current-she’s an older generation though)
Digital PC program experience:
Photoshop/After effects/Flash/Etc (until 2015 so not quite up to date on any major program changes after that, sorry!)
Clip Studio Paint- Pro and Ex (current)
GIMP- (current but I used it more before 2014ish)
Poser- (2020 right before the update. I had to get rid of it because the company that I bought it from sold the program to another company but didn’t include my key code anywhere so I basically got stolen from. Aye)
Apps:
Procreate-(current)
MediBang Paint-(current)
Other apps:
Picsart- (current)
CapCut- (current)

FAQ, Q&A, Resources
Hi, I’m new in town and you lot have been very kind to follow me.
Here’s a little blog post that I update occasionally.
Do you have any technique or app recommendations?
If I’m on-the-go, on my tablet or phone, I use a lot of different applications. Procreate w/ an Apple Pen, Midjourney, Dalle, Glitché, Filmm, GlitchCam, Groovo, Canva, PicsArt, VSCO. I’m getting into Lightroom, Photoshop and Adobe Express editions. Save and edit and save and edit and save and edit and save and edit.
If I’m at my desk, I use GIMP a lot. I use or add a few old school glitch art techniques that can only be done on my Mac or on my PC. Versions tend to jump from phone to laptop to phone to laptop.
Here are two tutorials if you’d like to learn some, ever more seemingly, old school techniques for yourself. I’d be utterly pleased if this was your first entrance to “glitch art” —
youtube
Do you sell prints or shirts or any fine, fine merchandise anywhere?
Not of anything I make with MidJourney. Well, technically, no merchandise of anything right now. If you see it sold online, it’s a fake. If you see anything of mine go viral somewhere other than this Tumblr account, it’s fake.
Maybe I’ll make postcards, some day, out of sheer novelty. But, honestly, right now, a lot of this blog is going to turn into behind the scenes, drafting, etc.
i.e…. “~•*•THE PROCESS•*•~”
At 800 followers, I feel like I’ve cultivated a scene that I can trust with feedback on my other passion projects.
Wait, other projects?
Oh yeas. Have you ever read House Of Leaves? That’s what the inside of my brain looks like if I don’t Make Things.
Ok cool.
Yeah, for sure, of course.
Can you recommend any fandoms or other accounts that you like?
I like stuff. Stuff is good. Have you seen some of the stuff out there? It’s everywhere. Stuff is all over the place, and I love it. And I love that for me. And I love that for you.
Stuff for everyone, stuff for all, I say, at times when I’m going from here to there.
Here’s some of the stuff I like. Do you have any stuff you like?
— Degenesis (TTRPG)
— Trevor Henderson (@slimyswampghost on IG)
— Plastiboo (Artist)
— @louceph (seriously, a truly amazing artist)
— @hannahorca (wow wow wow)
— LIMINAL_ (TTRPG)
— MORK BÖRG (TTRPG)
— Mayfair Watchers Society (Podcast)
— Quiet Part Loud (Podcast)
— Welcome To Scarfolk (Book)
— Uzumaki & Gyo (Manga)
— Elden Ring (Video Game)
— Lovecraft Country (Series)
— Blasphemous (Video Game)
— Berserk (Manga)
— Oats Studio (Series, Netflix)
— District 9 (Movie)
— Love Death + Robots (Series)
Any more?
Sure but they might be “off-brand” for the aesthetic.
— Hollow Knight (Game)
— The Long Dark (Game)
— Frostpunk (Game)
— Nausicaä (Movie)
— Princess Mononoke (Movie)
— Scavenger’s Reign (Series)
— Raised By Wolves (Series)
— This War Of Mine (Game)
— Midnight Gospel (Series)
— The Beginners Guide (Game)
Okay, so hey I’ve fallen in love with one of the Monsters on here. Can I adopt it and name it and feed it and call it mine?
Listen your head-canon is your head-canon but for god’s sake remember that I have to read the fic and you have to write the fic. A curse on both our houses if ever used for PvP combat.
Do you sell NFTs?
No.
Okay…have I thought about it? Yes. Sure. Whatever. But I don’t sell NFTs. No “legitimate” NFTs of my work exists. If you see it, it’s fake.
I’ve told myself there’s only one way I’d use an NFT or Ethereum — if someone would like to “legally” adopt one of my OC critters. I would literally draw up the novelty adoption papers. That sounds like so much fun.
Conclusion
Thanks for hanging out and reading my words. This kind of came to an abrupt end, didn’t it? Yeah, pacing isn’t something I’m good at yet. But am I not deserving of love, simply as one voice amongst the many spiritual echoes singing the tune of our grand eternal choir of life? Am I not worthy of perhaps a little treat?

Help In Jimin Promotion | How to edit Positive Jimin content
Creating positive Jimin content
Want to make a jimin edit but don't know how?
In this post I will do my best to guide you through the basics of editing so you can promote jimin in a positive way.
Before you start to make your Jimin content, and ask yourself the following questions:
📍 What do I want people to think about Jimin after they watch the video? 📍 How do I want them to feel about Jimin after watching the video? 📍 What do I want to achieve with the video? 📍 What do I want people to do after watching the video?
Having these goals in mind will help give you a clear picture of what you want your content to achieve in the long run for the benefit of Jimin's image.
Remember: we want the content to highlight him in a positive light.
After you thought carefully and planned your intentions, let's start editing!
For Youtube Videos:
Editing softwares: I recommend Movavi and Filmora, both are free to use and are very beginner friendly.
For more advanced editors, Sony vegas pro is a great one.
Watch editing tutorials on youtube for the specific app/software you want to use, and edit as much as you can. You don't have to be the best editor out there to make good jimin content, just edit as much you can, the more editing you do, the better you'll get.
if you feel a little lost with what type of content you want to make, look at your favorite edits/videos, study those and use them as a guide for your edits. (make sure to put on your own unique spin on them).
Note: it's not always about having tons of effects in your videos, sure it looks cool but having too many effects can actually distract from the point you're trying make across to the viewer, so sometimes less is more.
Text to speech - if you're not sure you want to use your voice for videos, text to speech is the perfect alternative to make your videos more engaging without having to do that. There are plenty of free text to speech mobile apps out there, use the most simple ones for your videos.
If you're using a PC/windows, all you need to do is use OneNote, the app is usually already on your computer but if it's not, simply download it from the microsoft store. Write the text you want to use for your videos, and then have the app read it to you through clicking on immersive reader, record it with the windows free voice recorder, and there you have it!
All you need to do is transfer the recorded track to your editing software, match your video clips with voice recording and you're done! This video explains step by step how to do this:
youtube
Background music: For tiktok, you can add any music/sound you want in the background, but If your video is meant for youtube, make sure to use copyright free music.
For Tiktok/Youtube shorts:
There are plenty of tutorials out there on how to make tiktok edits, the more popular ones to tend be made with:
CapCut app
But you can make a tiktok edit with any software as long as you make the video 19:6 (vertical).
There's definitely a need for more informative tiktok videos with accurate facts on Jimin, so you can use the text to speech for those as well!
Editing is a fun and effective way of relaying information in a way that sticks in people's mind, which is what we need in order to counter the false narratives, change the narrative surrounding Jimin and introducing him to new people.
And most importantly:
Make sure your content shows Jimin for who is, free of any false narratives and tropes. Show people the qualities that make him the great person and one in a lifetime performer he is. Make them see what YOU see about Jimin.
We can't blame people for not knowing what we know about him, we need to show it to them.
Making content is the best way to do so. The same way that haters spread misinfo about him, is the same way we need to spread positive info about him. Make people see what made you a fan and inspire more and more people to show their love for Jimin openly.

I thought I was free of BG3, but I was not.
(sorry Im not using the real app so it's not letting me edit correctly)
So, I made another Redeemed!Durge playthrough.
While my first one was narratively and cognitively dissonant, story-wise (an unusual looking Githyanki Bard, doing serial murdering in Baldur's Gate? Brushing elbows with powerful people? And no one noticed???) I decided to chalk that up to Bhaal being incredibly cocky. He has the old man voice and is much more tired than my current PC.
My goal with this updated playthrough was two-fold:
Make the ultimate Durge - constantly underestimated, can go anywhere, no one bats an eyelash at their presence.
Get Astarion as the first and only companion and using a specific guide (https://reddit.com/r/BaldursGate3/s/visFK1mKzl - top comment), get the scenes that I initially missed. (Most of the companion scenes are tiered/have priority, I think it's a combination of specific character and approval. Most often Astarion's scenes get overwritten by Shadowheart, Lae'zel, or Gale.)
So, my new character is a Female Half-Elf Bard (Sword Bard OP), with more traditionally Elven features, tanned skin, freckles, and light brown hair with a bit of blonde from sun-bleaching. She looks like the personification of the sun. Someone who's never gone a day without.
But she's also pretty, and forgettable -which is the important part. Other than the shattered dagger throat tattoo, a scar over her lips and the dagger earrings, she's just the girl next door. And since she's slight in build, she's constantly underestimated. It made for quick work to lure people to their doom.
the WORST part is that I've been writing blurbs between playing.
I've written over /16,000/ words. On my phone. Mostly idling in game, headphones on, listening to the ambient music. Or laying in bed. It's not even edited, it's just terrible stream of consciousness stuff.
I call the story collection 'Brief Moments in Time' and one of them involves my Half-Elf, Lysithea, having a core memory unlocked when Astarion is spouting lines at her during the Tiefling Party. Turns out she not only LIKES pick up lines, but also COLLECTS them. They were very useful for luring people to their deaths - like a less sexy version of what Astarion used to do for Cazador.
Here's the little memory flashback I have for her. The ending lines are meant to invoke that moment with the dying Mind Flayer you find at the crash site in Act 1. (Compassion??)
-----
The settings are vague, but the bustling environment must be a local tavern. She’s sipping ale quietly from a table that has a strategic vantage point. The occasional scratching of a quill in a book accompanies her gaze, making sure to take notes on would be targets.
But just over by the bar, she hears a drunken man say a fun pick-up line a little too loudly. Like Astarion she used whatever means she had to lure people away to their doom, and she pays attention to the honeyed words to try and see if they’ll be of some use to her.
“Are you a Gelatinous Cube? Because I feel like this encounter is going to end up with me inside you.”
Past the rage and the darkness that consume her, there’s a small bubble of… joy.
Joy?
-----
And then she spends the next little bit spouting lines at Astarion, which he rather likes because she calls him beautiful. And it's nice to be on the receiving end of such attention every now and again.
She's also aware the entire time he's using her, but doesn't care. She's got no sense of who she is, beyond a few small things, so she's using him as well for companionship and to help curb the urge and build new memories. After all, they're a lot alike.
UGH I JUST CANT STOP WRITING LITTLE GARBAGE THINGS ALL THE TIME. I HAVE BEEN CONSUMED. NOTHING REMAINS BUT BG3. please help me 😭
BUT!!
...In the future I want to do a Wyll run where I romance Karlach because I heard he goes with her at the end to Avernus anyway and they're so sweet to each other 🥹

Gothic 1 – under the sphere
Tumblr media
So, it was over a steam sales, about a sometime ago. With my new PC – it is first such sales. So, it is a special event for me. I take a lots of games. So, also a retro games. So, I take by sales Gothic. A whole pack. First three parts.
So, it is some connection with first gothic. So, I have remembered, how my brother buys this game, a very good edition with this game. So, it was two cd. And game do not run at Pentium 2 machine. So, it should be not enough of 8 mb video memory. And, game can be started - but too much freeze. Too much to play. And, it is a good to see from a first sigh, that it is a 3d role playing game. Everything is in full 3d. And, I guess, it is very well-done game with a big details. Some world under a magic sphere. It is everything I know. And as it is in good role playing game - everything has some details – dialogues, battles. And I heard, that game has its own way of control hero, very specific control.
And, now I have already in my steam collection three parts of Gothic. I start first one. And I like its graphic from a first time. It is good enough. So, I think, it was added resolution for steam and maybe something else. But it looks rather good. Graphic is beautiful. World is interesting. So, it is a thing, I can say at once.
Tumblr media
We are sent with special message into the world under a magic sphere. It is a prison. But, as idea, it is a world. There are some camps here. And, lots of place for adventure, as I get it. It is standalone government is there under the sphere. Better to say, three fractions. So, I think, there are three fractions there. In this place, they get ore from mines and some stuff and send it to the upper world. Above magic sphere. And from upside - all goods are going in exchange. It is a logic.
It is started with a road. And you can look around. Big map. And we go through mountains, there is some little plain. And you can get that game has a big world. And with details to explore. You can do different things. You can collect grass, search items, check chests. There is iron sword near a tree, you can take it.  If to look carefully. I do not find it at first time. Explore - it is a big part of a game.
And I am surprised with dialogs. They are very variative. Lots of information you can get from them. They are with voice. And even with Russian voice. It is a very big level of details in the world. It is not surprise, that Gothic was a very popular game. And it is a legend of role playing games. For those, who likes details in game with talks, explore and battles. Like Fallout 2, Baldur’s Gate. Every such game is good in its own way. And Gothic is done – by its own way. And it is interesting to explore what is going on here.
And we meet two hunters. And you can speak with them. To ask questions. They ask for items in exchange with advices. They can teach you skills. And some ostrich something like enemies. Rather simple enemy. You can get some experience. As it should be in a complex RPG.  World is amazing.
Tumblr media
So, later we are in a camp. So here we have even more to speak. Characters. You can speak almost with everyone. And several of them will say to you something valuable or interesting. So, it is already going quests, some small quests. Some, they have in a camp - some mysterious swamp humans. Ktulhu something, they have in a swamp.  And I am in camp near a castle. And there is fraction, that select as a god, they worship some swamp creature. And they can see it in their dreams. And everyone thinks that these people from swamps are mad.
There is change of day and night. Very smooth. And I even do not take into account, that I was already in the night time.  So, I can say, that my first attempt was you see the game. Game is big. With its own fantasy medieval.
Tumblr media

Can you give me a quick rundown of how you make the podfics? I liked the voice, and don't do much on the others I've tried, and most seem to have a character limit. I googled the "Microsoft Edge Read Aloud" you said you used? Do you have to do it on browser? If so, how to you save the audio file? Do you have to edit out all the authors notes and such?
I'd love to make a couple for myself, bc carpool is torture lol, and I've listened to all the long wolfstar ones I can find. Tysm!
I’m going to do my best here to explain my process. Read aloud is an option in the Microsoft Edge browser itself; you can right click to get to it or click the 3 dots at the top of the browser. The voice I’ve found I like best is “Microsoft Christopher Online (Natural) - English (United States)”. I generally use the PC version of Edge because I create my podfics through Audacity (free software) where it essentially records my computer audio, but there are Android and Apple version of it that have the same read aloud functionality. To get mine to the quality that they are at I actually wrote a computer program (I’m a software engineer in real life) that does a lot of the HTML formatting for me. It also does a lot of find and replace on words that edge pronounces funny that I’ve come up with creative spelling for to get it to sound accurate. My general process is to record the audio straight through and then when I’m listening to it I create bookmarks in my audio player (Smart AudioBook Player) to indicate where there are issues for me to go back and fix. Issues are generally a strange Microsoft Edge pronunciation or a grammatical error that was missed by the author - pretty minor things. If you’re only creating them for yourself it probably isn’t necessary, but I’m a perfectionist and things like that drive me nuts. I have so many more podfics recorded, but most of them I haven’t heard back from the author on about posting. I don’t feel like I can ethically post them without the author’s permission. @heartofspells was actually the first author who got back to me and I've been doing this for months.
Prior to learning about Microsoft Edge I used the Android Evie app which all things considered is pretty good. It's base pronunciation is definitely better than Edge. I just didn’t want to pay for the higher quality voices.
I hope that answers your questions. I'd love to create more of these to distribute, I just can't seem to find authors who are interested.

Defense of a Device That Does Just One Thing
I know what you’re probably thinking to yourself. “Oh great. Another article about how phones are evil.” as you roll your eyes. While that is sort of what this article is, I’ll preface it by saying, I like my phone. Phones are great. The modern cell phone is a device that has reshaped the world, in some ways faster than we can keep up with. But what I also like in the devices I own, is a purpose, a desire or need to be filled or fixed. I have no need for a smart speaker. This probably pegs me as an old man, but I don’t mind going to a store or looking something up with my fingers on the aforementioned phone I like. I have no need then for a tiny box listening in all the time just in case I need toilet paper. It is a solution to a problem I don’t have.
The thing about smart speakers or cell phones or voice remotes, etc, that is supposedly attractive to the consumer is that they do a lot of different things. Take the cell phone, which I can speak to better since I have owned a few of them. It can make calls, send texts, take photos or video, surf the web (as I’m sure all the youths still say), stream music and movies, control my lights or thermostat, play video games and, hell, I can even write or edit things I’ve written (like this article) on it. It’s a magic miracle rectangle in my pocket. But does it do any of those things well? Does doing a lot of things add up to something valuable?
My phone can take some high-quality photos but it doesn’t have the control you get with a Nikon or Canon. It can record audio but if you’re making a record you might want to go with a few SM57s jacked into a Tascam at the very least. I love a quick castle defense or match three game but when I’m really looking to get into a virtual story, I’m booting up a console or my PC. And as for writing, phones are fine for texting but no one is writing the great American novel with just with their thumbs.
Let’s focus on a device that does just one of the things my phone can do, my iPod Classic. Well, I say iPod Classic when I should say Classics since one of them is full so I had to get a second. For those of you uninitiated, the iPod Classic was the original iPod from Apple. It was a little black, silver or white box with a small two-inch screen and a revolutionary for the time click wheel. It had a mind-boggling 160GB of storage and almost all of it was dedicated to one thing, music. It was simple. You just put as much music as you could into iTunes and plugged it in. A few minutes later it was all there, ready to scroll through at your leisure, stored in your pocket.
Tumblr media
The iPod was made for music nerds like me. It could hold my whole library, arrange and sort it any way you could want, simple and clean UI and most importantly offered a distraction-free music listening experience. It wasn’t without flaws. The 30-pin connection gets filled with junk easily, iTunes itself has a lot of trouble with anything more complicated than one record by one artist and who knows why they never put in a hard drive that didn’t spin. Instead, they just discontinued it a few years ago. I was obviously devastated. Now if my iPods give out, which with a spinning hard drive one solid bump or fall will do the trick and all I will have left is my phone for all my portable music listening needs.
So how does my phone stack up when it comes to listening to music? Well, I have a Galaxy S9 Edge and it comes with two music apps, one from Sprint and one from Google. Both are part of that group of apps that come with a phone that no one really wants and, if they can, usually uninstall them. Bloatware I think it’s called. The offering from Sprint is especially bloated with the landing page set to the store where you can buy songs, bundles and ringback tones. Remember those from the dawn of the cell phone? You’d pick a song you would want to blast at anyone who dared to call you, friend, family and potential employer alike. If I had music on my phone, I would only be able to find it in this app through a few menus but the main focus is to get the end user to spend money. Most of this goes for the Google Play app as well, which I have used in the past when my iPod was broken. But along with all the previously mentioned problems, it also will lose songs as they disappear from the service, ruining the flow of records and playlist. Google is more subtle with their store but only because it will play ads between songs. I don’t know about you but nothing throws off my groove like a Squarespace ad.
Of course, ads are also a problem on other streaming services like Spotify or Youtube but those will disappear once you subscribe for a certain amount a month. So for five bucks plus your phone bill, you can stream as much music as your data plan will allow as long as you have a connection. Essentially, you end up paying $100+ just to listen to some music that you don’t even own (owning media v. renting access to it is a whole other article for another day). Now compare that to just having high-quality audio on a hard drive in your pocket that just works, distraction-free for one price. Which of these devices is going to enhance your music listening experience?
I am in no way saying the iPod is a perfect machine. If it were still around today I could think of a few things I’d change. First, you obviously put in a solid state drive with as much memory as you can fit in that small package. Swap out the old connector for something more modern. Since it’s Apple, it’ll be their proprietary USB-C garbage but still, it’s less space for dirt and junk to build up in. Add some wireless sync in there and while you’re at it, if you really have to, add a WiFi connection for anyone who has to have Spotify, or in this case, Apple Music. All the things I would add in this imaginary re-imagining of my iPod though would be serving one purpose, to make listening to music a better experience. Your phones only goal is to keep you on your phone for as long as possible and that is the one thing it does that very well.
Most applications on a phone are only surface deep. The music app is made to get you to buy a few songs or stream whatever the company post on the landing page. Your camera is mostly used to take quick snapshots or clips and post them to some social media platform. The screens aren’t really the IMAX experience and the microphone is barely able to make calls. The thing is, that is fine for most people. But if you’re looking for a deeper and frankly more enjoyable experience, you’re going to eventually need the right tools for the job. Filmmakers and photographers need a camera that is dedicated to being the kind of camera they need. Recording artist of all kinds need a device with its sole purpose being capturing audio or being an instrument. The last thing you need while laying down a beat is your mother calling in the middle of it. Even things like drawing and painting, even when done digitally, are best left to programs and tools that were brought into this world specifically for people who draw and paint. It’s more expensive and has a learning curve but I feel that, in the end, it’s needed. It all just depends on your needs. If a phone can get you by, that’s great but in the end, you need the right tools for the job.
Aside from your specific needs, having a device that is made for one thing is all around a nicer time. A dedicated device, as opposed to your phone, offers a distraction-free ordeal. No notifications, texts, calls, emails or ads. When I listen to a record, the only interruptions I have are the ones I allow. When you’re at a movie, there’s a reason they want you to turn off your phone. It is a place and medium designed to use most of your senses to capture all of your attention, which is required to properly enjoy the movie. The same goes for any other media you might want to consume or create. It deserves your full undivided attention.
So while my phone is a miracle box that allows me to do many different things, sometimes you just have to focus in and have a gadget made that only does one thing. Every photo I take doesn’t have to be for Instagram and every song I listen to doesn’t need to be counted and logged. Everything I tap doesn’t need to be recorded and used to sell me more things. My iPod may not let me shoot video or tweet or even stream music, but it does offer a designated place more all my music right in my pocket and it does it well. I’ll take that any day.

Features of MX88 Music Synthesizer: The perfect recording centerpiece
Here are the features that make MX88 one of the best synthesizers for music production. Explore how Yamaha Synthesizer helps you in producing different musical tones.
Piano Touch
The weighted action of the MX88 is Graded Hammer Standard (GHS). The reaction of GHS-weighted action is lighter in the high keys and heavier in the low keys. This produces a touch and responsiveness like an authentic acoustic piano. Long practice or performance sessions are ideal for these unique matte black keytops since they retain their tactile feel even after absorbing moisture.
Tumblr media
Full Concert Voice Of The Grand Piano
The MX88's Full Concert Grand piano is taken straight out of the MOTIF series. The Full Concert Grand piano's strong, focused low end, intricate midrange, and pure high end make it ideal for any musical genre and setting.
Synth Sound
Get the MX88 Montage Synthesizer instead of sacrificing sound quality for portability! With 88 notes, the MX88 is a small and lightweight music synthesizer with 88 full-sized, touch-sensitive keys and over 1,000 Voices from the legendary MOTIF.
Tumblr media
Perfect Touch Curve
An improved touch curve unites the GHS action with the Full Concert grand piano voice. The player can express themselves with great realism, dynamic, and emotion thanks to this curve. This is only achievable with a piano made by Yamaha, who has been producing concert grand pianos of the highest caliber for more than a century.
Music For Contemporary Piano Players
In addition to an acoustic piano, the MX88 has a remarkable assortment of keyboard voices. Select from vintage tonewheel organs with rotary speaker effects or faithful reproductions of vintage tine and reed electric pianos. If you want to get funky, there are also forceful and percussive Clav sounds available. This vast range of sounds makes it the Best Synthesizer Keyboard for music creation.
Tumblr media
Drum Kits, Guitars, Basses, And Realistic Strings
The MX88 is an inspiring instrument for orchestrators, instructors, and producers due to its amazing reproductions of orchestral strings, woodwinds, pipe organs, brass, and more. The extremely expressive and playable percussion kits, basses, tonewheel organs, and acoustic and electric guitars provide the budding producer with a potent and polished sound palette.
Motif Sound Engine
One potent Synthesizer Keyboard technology for creating sound is the MOTIF Sound Engine. Up to eight Elements can be found in MOTIF Sound Engine Voices. These components can be zoned so that a separate element plays in different regions of the keyboard or layered for a rich, full sound. Additionally, you can randomize Elements for anything from subtle variation to experimental sound, or you can swap between Elements based on velocity for extreme dynamics.
Tumblr media
An iOS 4-Operator FM synthesizer app called FM ESSENTIAL is available for free. A complete 271 FM Voices, ranging from iconic '80s to cutting-edge modern EDM, may be unlocked by connecting the MX88 Music Synthesizer (via the Apple Lightning to USB Camera Adapter, not included) to the regular version, which only has 10 Voices. Additional features for editing voice are unlocked which makes it a great synth at a great Synthesizer Price. In-built effects, EQ, drum phrases, and a step sequencer for automating control changes are all elements of FM Essential
Effect of virtual circuit modeling (VCM)
Virtual Circuitry Modeling models the circuits down to the original analog component level, recreating the sound and behavior of vintage effects and high-end studio signal processors.
128-Note Polyphony
With 128 notes of polyphony, you can perform live or with entire 16-track sequences without experiencing any dropouts. Software synthesizers for Mac and PC, DAW software, and iOS applications can all be used with the MX88.
Tumblr media
Connectivity
The MX88 allows you to record and playback stereo audio to and from your computer or iOS device because it complies with USB audio and MIDI classes. When using headphones or speakers to listen to your mixes after recording the MX88 into your DAW, this is ideal.
In addition to connecting to your DAW, the synthesizer keyboard doubles as a dedicated control surface. Utilize your DAW's onboard transport controls to adjust plug-in parameters using the control knobs. Numerous pre-installed Remote Control Templates are available to interface with well-known softsynths and plug-ins, enhancing the hardware-like feel of your software. Additionally, a 16-channel MIDI interface with DAW remote control capability is available for using the MX88 as both a keyboard controller and tone generator.
The MX88 is more than a great-sounding synthesizer; it's the hub of your studio! Get the Best Synthesizer Online from the Yamaha online store.
