A Latina singer who does sings in English and Spanish who's actually very famous who has been dating Enzo for years but people are just now finding out and putting it together. People now realizing there's been so many sightings of them together or him at her shows.
🎤« 𝐀𝐍 𝐈𝐑𝐎𝐍 𝐌𝐀𝐈𝐃𝐄𝐍 𝐓-𝐒𝐇𝐈𝐑𝐓 | ENZO VOGRINCIC
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
𖥔 ࣪˖ pairing: enzo x latina!singer!fem!reader
𖥔 ࣪˖ summary: enzo and you have been dating for the past 3 years. nobody knew you guys were a thing but after reaching his peek after the drop of Society of the Snow, fans begin to piece pieces together.
𖥔 ࣪˖ warnings: only fluff I believe
𖥔 ࣪˖ note: I love this idea!! did this in headcanons. I hope you enjoy this anon and everyone<3 for the sake of the fic i’ll say she wrote some of the songs but all credit goes to its respective well talented owners.
Tumblr media
☆ You and Enzo had met at a cafe. A classic frankly. The thing was that you had a concert in the city and Enzo was just visiting. The two of you hit it off well.
☆ You weren’t sure if to feel surprised or not at the fact that he didn’t know who you were at first. But later he told you he didn’t know much about famous people so that fairly made you understand. In some way, it also made you feel better at the fact that he wasn’t dating you because of your fame but because of the kind of person you were.
☆ If the man had the opportunity, he would go to your concerts. He would even take pictures of your fabulous outfits and of the whole arena filled with fans. It was as if you had your very own photographer.
☆ You would write him songs. There was no denying it, and he would know. One of his personal favorites was Lover. When you wrote it, both of you had just turned one year. To you, it felt like you had been dating that man for years instead of one. You were in love, and the fans knew it.
☆ Your favorite song for him was Disfruto. Not only because it was in Spanish but because that was your way of expressing that you would do anything for Enzo to feel safe with you. Never let him down since he is the one you want to grow old with and spend every important moment with.
☆ Later on, fans began to spot Enzo in your concerts. The thing was that in most of your shows, he wore hats, and due to the dimness of the light you wouldn’t be able to see much from his complexion, only his apparel. They would ask themselves. Who is that guy? However, overall they were happy for you.
☆ When the movie dropped, everyone was going insane with Enzo. That also entirely complicated how the two of you would have your relationship established now. Your fans knew you had been dating someone, and you somehow managed to keep the man a secret. But did you?
☆ When Enzo got his fans, and his media only grew bigger, a lot of pictures were revealed on the internet. Some of them would be from the movie, with the boys, from previous years, him as a teenager. There were specific ones of him with an Iron Maiden shirt. For some reason, the fans recognized the shirt.
“I swear I’ve seen that shirt on before him before.” They would say.
When they also went into one of his highlights out of curiosity and found a picture he had taken at one of your concerts. At first, they assumed he was a fan of you, but later when videos of the mysterious man at your concerts started to pop up again was when they began to question. Since some of the shirts Enzo would wear, he would have pictures with them. But fans still wouldn't be sure.
☆ Until there was a picture. You had posted a picture years ago of Enzo but you couldn’t see his face completely. Only a tad bit of his eye and nose. He laid on your legs as he napped, while your hand rested on his cheek. It almost covered most of his face, and he wore the Iron Maiden t-shirt. You had taken that picture down but of course, screenshots exist.
☆ Fans were jolted by the image and asked when that picture was taken. Everyone was saying that the picture was from 2 years prior, and that was when they started to connect everything thoroughly. That Enzo was the mysterious man in your concerts and the picture he had taken of the arena was just him being supportive. And that from that very picture was where they recognized the shirt from.
“YOU GUYS that was Enzo all along!”
“you’re telling me we’ve seen this man even before he reached his fame???”
☆ Enzo and you had gone public officially, after a month since the two of realized the fans already knew. You would go on dinner dates, breakfast, and brunch. And of course, if he had time in his schedule, he would still be there at your concerts. Videos of him would be on the internet the next day. With his camera resting on the strap around his neck and a huge smile carved on his lips with the glint of love in his eyes.
“Guys, look at Enzo being the best supportive boyfriend he is.”

Please mind the #wineposting tag. Regardless: are you asking, "Should I watch this adaptation of Les Misérables?" I'll give you advice, though I suspect if you are reading this blog post you have watched all of these anyway (and quite possibly a few more, besides!).
'25 (Fescourt): Probably! If you are a Brick fan none of the adaptation choices will startle you, but having visuals to go with key scenes is a treat. This is a loyal piece. Toulout as Javert, Gabrio as Valjean, Milovanoff as Fantine, and Nivette as Éponine all give excellent performances. Be prepared for a lukewarm Cosette. You might struggle with silent film conventions, length, and French intertitles.
'34 (Bernard): Probably! This is a fairly loyal adaptation of the Brick that makes internally consistent choices where it deviates from its source (sometimes it has goofy continuity errors—politely ignore). Baur as Valjean and Gaël as Cosette give fabulous performances. Moments of silliness do not detract from the quality. Another long haul.
'35 (Boleslawski): Probably not. As an adaptation of Les Misérables this film is bad. That being said, Charles Laughton is a lauded actor, and you can't say he didn't put his whole laughussy into his performance. Because it is accessible and prominent, a lot of LM fans will have seen this film, and you might benefit from shared context if you're in fandom. Speaking personally, I'm glad I saw it, but I'm not sure you will be.
'52 (Milestone): No. Most likely based on '35 rather than on the book, this film is also a bad adaptation of Les Misérables. There are no notable performances. Because it is accessible, this is another adaptation many fans are familiar with, but understanding jokes about Valjean's boyfriend Robert and Javert's sentient hat probably don't justify sitting through the movie.
'58 (Le Chanois): No. Not the English dub, at least. "Bland" is the word of the day. Contemporary French audiences wildly disagree with me per Wikipedia.
'72 (Bluwal): Strong maybe. If you are an intense fan of the Brick, yes. Its use of a narrator to draw from the novel directly and its focus on the Amis makes this adaptation unique on this list. You might not end up liking it but you will have had an experience. If you have zero investment in Les Misérables but are still reading this post for some reason: no, do not watch this.
'78 (Jordan): At some point I will talk about this film and not make a gay joke but today is not that day. If you are not queer, get off my blog, you cis straight, begone. Everyone else: yes, watch this movie, c'mon. Perkins. That performance. At some point I need to make a serious post about queerness and '78 but right now all I've got is Javert's literal on-screen boner. Jesus Christ. Not a great adaptation of the novel but a virtuoso example of unintentional homoeroticism.
'82 (Hossein): No. This is an odd little adaptation without the charisma of a '35 or '78, somehow not as bad as either of those but not as good either. The GIF of the Amis walking in heavy wind is the best this film has to offer.
'98 (August): No—but I stared into my wine glass for a long, long time before typing those two letters. If we are judging adaptations by how they handle the source material, this is a disaster. As a film? I'm sure entertained. I call it bitchslap Les Mis. I should note here I am also a huge fan of Uma Thurman. Possibly I should recuse myself. I don't know, pal. IDK.
2012 (Hooper): I dwell bitterly on the fact that this is our film version of the musical. Brick fans are restless, musical fans are restless. People who first encountered Les Mis via this version are making feral noises. I'm afraid. I'm moving on.
2018 (Davies): It's really unfortunate that I am at my most drunk while commenting on this adaptation. Sure, watch it, it's one of those BBC series that has watchability sheerly because of production value and proximity to contemporary narrative/film expectations/standards. Personally I hate it. My partner is so tired of the tone in which I utter the syllables "Oyelowo".
The Musical: yes c'mon. Bootleg that good bitch.

Neige LeBlanche headcanons bc I know nothing about him and this is how I see him. I literally made up a back story for him bc we don't have one. None of this is true except for like two things I got from a twst wiki. Also warnings: these headcanons involve Neige having terrible parents (nothing is described in detail, I just say they're bad) and Niege gets in his feels. I tagged it anyways tho. This is long as hell tho, sorry guys...
His voice is high pitched, but it's actually much deeper. He just fakes how high it bc someone in the industry told him he sounded similar to Vil and his natural voice doesn't match his "cute vibe" his fans love (he rolls with it bc he doesn't want to disappoint fans).
He had a rough childhood and his parents weren't ever in the picture and were extremely neglectful, so his grandma fought for custody of him to give him a good life
Neige was inspired to act for two reasons 1. He used to watch black and white movie with his grandma and wanted to be as fabulous, sweet, and cute as the actresses and 2. He watched Vil act during a school play (found out from the wiki he saw Vil act in a school play) and was moved by Vil's passion and amazing acting skills.
He went to the same school as Vil (a fine arts school bc I said so!) And his grandma fought tooth and nail to get him accepted and afford for him to go
He was discovered at one of his school plays and his career took off from there
He sends most of his money to his grandma. Not for her to put into a savings account for him, but for her to spend and use.
Back to his bad parents, when Neige started making money his parents suddenly loved him so much and wanted to make things right with their son. Grandma wasn't having it and didn't allow contact. Lawyers were involved.
His grandma made the sweater vest under his school uniform
He has a million other sweaters and sweater vests made by his grandma. They all look similar to the vest we see him wear, but with different colors and various forest animals.
His grandma also embroidered the "one day my Princess will come..." we see on his hat. It's a reference to his favorite black and white romance movie (I know what it's actually referencing but in my heart it's this!)
He gets swindled and used constantly. Che'nya caught on to this and their friendship started out with him messing with Neige, but turned into an actual friendship when he realized how much people were using Neige for their own gain.
Che'nya is one of his few actual friends and has been helping him feel less guilty about saying no and standing up for himself.
He has piercings.
Che'nya gave them to him over a month, IN CHE'NYA'S DORM, USING PIERCING NEEDLES FROM AMAZON, RUBBING ALCOHOL, AND A LIGHTER! (don't do this at home kids).
Neige freaked out for every. Single. Piercing. And had a melt down every. Single. Time the needle TOUCHED his skin. He went back to smiling and raving about about cute they were after the piercings were in.
He has two piercings on his left ear (lobe), three on his right (lobe and tragus), a septum, a smiley piercing, and an eyebrow ring.
He uses dermaflage for his of "non-conventional" piercings, but takes out his smiley piercing and flips his septum piercing inside of his nose or takes it out for modeling, acting, etc.
His agent, manager, stylist, teachers, etc all went insane Neige showed up with piercing in his face after a sleepover with a "friend" (Che'nya he's not a snitch tho and didn't want to loose one of his three real friends)
Che'nya convinced him to do it bc Neige revealed he felt like He was "loosing himself, and wasn't sure if he had a personality beyond what those controlling his career said he was and could like."
Neige has always looked up to Vil for being stunning, fabulous, professional, confident, passionate, and an amazing actor. He wishes just just once he could be the Villain and not the hero or damsel in distress.
He does Magicam lives all the time. More than his manager and etc. recommends bc he just really loves interacting with his fans
He also reads and keeps, most if not everything, his fans send him.
He ruined Che'nya's hair on a Magicam live once with a hair dye brand deal. He watched in horror as he washed Che'nya's hair out after 5 minutes of the bleach sitting (Che'nya said it was burning).
His eyes then went wide and started crying because he "ruined Che'nya's hair" when Che'nya's hair started melting off.
Che'nya was laughing his butt off while Neige sobbed in the background. (He's ruined his own hair before so his hair melting off is not a new event for him).
This event was memed for nearly 6 months before everyone moved on bc another influencer fricked up.
Neige thinks he's bad at attracting a partner, but in reality he's just oblivious to flirting and people showing a romantic interest
Rook low-key creeps him out but he's not going to say anything bc "He's just a fan!"
He wears makeup bc he wants to be like Vil, not because he needs to.
Even though he has a phone, he writes his grandma letters instead of texting her. He also calls her every chance he gets. He also sends her gifts for every holiday he's not home for.
He listens to indie and rock music with Che'nya and finds himself listening to it when he's away from him bc it's his friend's favorite music genres <3
He works out for the sole purpose to one day be able to carry his future s/o like a princess
In conclusion, I like Neige fr fr and I wish we had more info on him. He's also a sweet boi <3

Straw Hats and Silly T-shirts (ノ◕ヮ◕)ノ*.✧
I had this idea bouncing around my brain for a while....and i procrastinated all afternoon. Anyways! Here they are!
Monkey Shirt. Monkey boy
Tumblr media
This is not revolutionary but look at me in the eyes and tell you cant imagine him wearing that. You cant can you?
Idk how explain it but that shirt is a Himbo itself, so naturally:
Tumblr media
The moment he realized he can carry booze and Chopper in that giantic pocket, its closed deal. Just make it a tank top for charecter consistency, its not showing enough tits for Zoro
Fun and flirty = Nami
Tumblr media
Its fun, its comfy, is a bit cheeky, would totally torture Sanji and Brook. Its perfect
Bad puns? In my shirt?
Tumblr media
Most likely than you think. Anyways, i think this allignes with Usopp sense o humour. Let him wear that under a cool overall + hat and he has a killer drip (as usual)
⬇️ (affectionate)
Tumblr media
*drops this and explains nothing about it*
Smol. Soft. Baby
Tumblr media
It even goes with his current colour palette. Give him it with cool jacket, maybe even another hat, and that a movie outfit
Ok hear me out on this one
Tumblr media
She always wears merch of the island they go to, so she likes silly turisty like shirt. She likes cats. Its a pun about a polyglote cat. Thats Robin. Fight me.
Fun dad one part adult two parts kid as well
Tumblr media
"Usopp ask me about my 🌟Super🌟 Dinosaur" *Usopp and Chopper with star eyes thinking its gonna be a robot* *Franky does this ⬆️*
He is a cryptid himself afterall
Tumblr media
And he is fabulous too. I know it in my bones (no pun intended) that he would rock it in this outfit. There. I rest my case
+ Law, dedicated MD
Tumblr media
This wasnt my idea, @karmacean sent it to me and i couldnt stop including it bc, just look at it lmao
Put this post with the Cursed Shoes one and i think we might be going somewhere ...

A doodle inspired by G3’s Draculaura, she had to make Count Fabulous his own witch hat (it would be a nice thought if he was like Salem from Sabrina, as he is an older vampire punished to stay in bat form, in this new generation).
I’m still trying to acclimate to changes in G3. I like that they might use different heights (I need a short Draculaura BADLY), and they look more monster-y than their G1 counterparts (Draculaura’s longer, pointy -hopefully bat like- ears). Something does look a bit off about the doll’s facial screening…like their eyes’ outlines are too thick? I know those are just prototypes though. I would like it if their eyes’ outlines looked more delicate and detailed (like in the Haunt Couture line). I love her split dye-thats very cute- and her little separated fangs.
I’m also hoping they add more accents of lime green (and eventually light yellow again) and white to her outfits and keep her victorian-inspiration paired with different pieces she has acquired through the ages. Hopefully they also keep her bubbly attitude, dive into her being adopted/turned by Dracula, her love of Dead Languages (that would be a good reason for her to maybe try some “witchcraft,” maybe it is often written in dead languages…maybe a character like Spelldon or Cleo have some older tomes that catches her attention….? or she starts studying it because she struggles with her vampire powers…?), the fact she was in the school’s newpaper club, and likes the theater (wasn’t she planned on being in the drama club in the Classroom line…?). Bring in some more lore about the Vampire Court and Elissabat being the vampire queen.
Oh! I also didn’t know that she was going to be Taiwanese, that’s a fun addition.
I dunno, I’m trying to stay hyped for the new dolls (I don’t have much hope for the made for tv-live action movie as it wasn’t up my alley to begin with), and really hope they take the best/most interesting things from G1 and the more sturdy dolls from G2 (and maybe some of the new characters), and explore and expand it. Mattel’s decisions just make me nervous. Like what if they have REALLY CHEAP CLOTHES…? What if they completely ignore main character traits or they don’t come with diaries?? What if they try too hard to be Rainbow High (I love Rainbow High but for different reasons than Monster High). Change is fine. its fine…it’s totally fine…
I think it is because I didn’t get a proper good bye to G1 Monster High and G2 swept a TON of stuff I liked under the rug and then it was just gone too. With the Haunte Couture line, Skullector, and B.C. dolls released (all hard to get ahold of and EXPENSIVE), I just assumed that they would be a continuation. Aw well.

The styling discourse made me think about what kind of style queen kate would adopt. I am not English and I am always quite baffled by the amount of articles written about the Royal Family and dress codes and being boring or too audacious etc. So what’s her style? Especially compared with her style pre engagement/wedding. (And if you want what’s the style of the various family members?) Thank you!
Thank you SO MUCH for asking because I LOVE talking fashion and I’ve been a royal style watcher for most of my life lol! I actually have spent the better part of an hour and a half pulling things and making moodboards!
To address your question about royal protocol and style and stuff; I’m going to go with what I’ve learned in the Harry and Meg doc, which is that there’s no set rule book given to them, but there are expectations that come with being a member of the royal family and you must dress accordingly! Royals will often wear pieces from local designers if they’re on tour, giving a nod to the country/city they’re in, and otherwise usually develop relationships with certain fashion houses and designers that help inform the rest of their looks. Almost all of them have a team of stylists. Royal dressing is important and Kate is going to learn to be incredibly intentional about it because what she wears has the power to potentially change a designer’s life, given that it’ll usually sell out quickly, and because it can be a way to shed light on important causes sartorially.
Royals AU Kate’s on-duty style is going to be really informed by Queen Letizia of Spain and Meghan Markle when she was a working royal. Letizia is always impeccably tailored, as though her clothes are custom made for her, and has such an eye for detail. She’s always fashionable and on trend without being gauche, she’s a very classic but elevated style, and she isn’t afraid to have fun. I picked Meghan’s royal style too because, especially during their last few working royal engagements, she was hitting it out of the park constantly! Bold colors, capes, great tailoring! I enjoyed some of her earlier royal looks, too; plenty of pants, some menswear inspired pieces (that structured jacket/blazer over a feminine self portrait dress is everything to me), and hats. It’s funny that I picked Letizia and Meg for this, since they’re both so petite and short, and Kate is not, so we’re all going to have to imagine lol.
Tumblr media
So really classic silhouettes with unexpected/royal nods (aka capes and caplets, plenty of hats), great blowouts or wavy hair, elevated fancy businesswoman workwear type of stuff!
When it comes to her off-duty style, I had a BLAST! I think Karlie Kloss’ street style is perfect for Queen Kate off duty looks. Karlie is really tall (a bit taller than Kate but similar heights) and wears a lot of flats, along with really great fitting denim, plain t’s or sweaters that are all impeccably tailored and very fashionable, and GREAT classic coats! I think Queen Kate would wear something more daring/low cut for date nights, because she’s a modern girl and former movie star—she’s Hollywood royalty! I think the thing to remember here is she’s going to be dressing conservative but still intensely fashionable. Even her off-duty looks are coming from a highly curated wardrobe and follow a set of principles; very very immaculately tailored, structured well fitting denim, and tops/coats that look like she just threw them on and walked out of the house looking fabulous. I threw in Karlie in that fendi jumpsuit pushing a stroller for fun, because imagine Queen Kate pushing Miles around in a pram wearing that lol!
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
I also made a moodboard for Daphne! I think Daphne would tend to lean more Kate Middleton style, but specifically Kate Middleton during the Meghan Markle years when she upped her style game lmfao. So nothing crazy, everything is very tailored, classic, nothing “out there,” lots of blowouts (there’s a line in the second chapter about Daphne having blowouts and it was indeed a nod to Kate lol), very classic and feminine, leaning a little militaristic-inspired as Kate does sometimes with her coats!

Fashion Week isn't for the Weak!
What's twice a year and has a bob? That's right, it's fashion week y'all! It's the most hectic time of year for anyone in the fashion industry. From designers, influencers, celebrities, and even people like myself, journalists! This season highlights the fall/winter collections from some of the biggest names in the world, and introduces a few newcomers. Take a stroll down the runway with me as I break down the most memorable moments surrounding Black talent!
First off we have New York, home of Timberland boots and of course my favourite music genre, hip hop. Usually I really love NYFW because some of my favourite designer showcase there, but honestly this season bored me.
Thom Browne had celebrities like Janet Jackson, Queen Latifah, Alton Mason etc dressed head to toe in their brand for the FW24 show.
Along with some gorgeous campaign images all shot by Black photography duo AB+DM (Ahmad Barber and Donté Maurice). I love it when Black creatives are given the opportunity to thrive in their skills on a big platform; their photography is immaculate. Each celebrity was well put together, the styling was perfection.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
I very recently learned that Luar was founded by Raul Lopez, a Brooklyn based designer originally from the Dominican Republic. The collection wasn't really my vibe so I'll just be quiet on that subject lol. No shade. In other news, we saw Beyoncé attending his show in support of her nephew Juelz, who debuted on the runway modelling for the brand. Miss Renaissance wore a full silver outfit (of course lol) by Gaurav Gupta. I hated the way it was styled personally, especially with the Luar bag. The handbag felt forced and probably was to some degree, as she was sitting front row as an invited guest that meant she had to wear something from the brand. Her team could have done a better job pairing the accessory with another outfit or choosing a different bag altogether. Also I'm very much over the cowboy hat, but I know she's currently promoting her new country music so I wasn't surprised. I wouldn't call Beyoncé a fashion girlie, but considering she's the biggest star in the world I hope that her glam squad would do a better job. Fix it Jesus.

LaQuan Smith is probably my most anticipated designer from NYFW, but this season I didn't even see his collection on my feed. I had to search for it, which is unusual for me as it's usually posted all over my timeline with everyone gagging and hyperventilating. I then realised why it was barely posted when I finally saw his collection, because it left me feeling uninspired. It wasn't innovative or exciting, just kind of regular and something that's been done before. This is a fabulous gay Black man who usually CLEARS every time, but this season left me confused. Where was the innovation? Where was the hoochie mama flavour? What was the extra razzle dazzle? It was barely there. It felt like an lazy afterthought and I'm even sad to say that about one of my favourite Black designers. If I compare FW24 to his previous collections you will see exactly what I mean. For example the FW22 collection was opulent, sexy, and vibrant. LaQuan is a true innovator who doesn't follow trends, because he sets them hunny! So I'm not sure what happened this season, but I blame Elon Musk. Somehow it's always his fault, don't question me lmao. I just know that my fav can produce better designs, but I won't let this low key mid collection put me off. I guess we all have bad days right? It wasn't ugly by any means, it just kept the hoochie mama flavour and unusual designs to a minimum. And my beloved friend and fashion partner in crime, keeps telling me that it's now a dying theme to make room for quiet luxury, which had me heartbroken. On a nicer note, the music on the runway however was GREAT! I loved that he used “The Player's Club” snippet as the intro, it's such a classic movie and a staple in Black culture. I would listen to that entire mix daily! It was a beautiful blend of Curtis Mayfield, Baby Tate, Nicki Minaj, Sadé, Missy Elliott and more. Plus with a piano performance by Babyface, who sang Two Occasions by The Deele. That was a very nice touch! I'm gonna need LaQuan to put it on Spotify asap so I can pop my puss 😜

While I was sad that I couldn't get an invite to see my favourite London based designers showcase their talent, I was quickly relieved when I saw what went down the runway. I would have sold my left arm to be at some LFW shows this season, but my disappointment followed from NYFW as I felt unimpressed by the usual showstoppers. Despite that, I quickly felt better once I spotted UK grime legend Skepta at the Burberry show wearing a BLOODY GORGEOUS fur teal coat by the brand. Every time I see that man at fashion week or on a red carpet he looks extremely good. I don't think he gets enough credit for his drip and we need to change that.
Tumblr media

As I previously mentioned we also occasionally see newcomers during fashion week, and that brings me to introduce Tolu Coker. She's a British Nigerian designer who graduated from Central Saint Martins in 2017, and hasn't taken her foot off the accelerator since! Tolu first showcased her FW19 collection at London fashion week, and she's worked with the likes of Stefflon Don, Burna Boy, Adwoa Aboah and more amazing names.
Her collections are always nothing short of fabulous and full of life. Tolu even had a collab with UGG for the footwear of her FW24 collection, which was definitely a BIG FLEX lol. Making it to Vogue Runway is already a great achievement, but to have a popular loved brand like UGG supporting your collection is very cool. UGG has also been known to collab with Telfar, another incredible Black owned brand. And I'm starting to see a pattern here and I love that for us 🥰
Tumblr media
MFW
As we move into Milan, the first collection that comes to mind is Diesel. They had all the Black folks walking hunny! It was like a family reunion lol. We saw names like Alton Mason to Leomie Anderson and so many more! And of course everyone was killing it because that's what we do! 💅🏾 The clothes were fun but still practical, which is expected from Diesel. Leomie had on a gorgeous pink and orange number that was oozing with IT GWORL ENERGY. It was overall a great show. I'm a sucker for a fur coat especially if it's an usual colour, and Diesel was nothing short of that. Besides the weird music announcement thingy lol I have no notes.
Gucci finally produced something I liked after years of mediocre BS designs, but I'm still not buying clothing from a racist brand. I think a lot of people have forgotten why the household name was being boycotted some years ago, so here's a quick reminder…
Tumblr media
Y'all can still give them your coins if you want to but I'm not a damn EEDIAT fool. You only need to insult me once. Thank you. Next.
It's now time for Paris! Some of you might know the city for their wonderful pastries, but I know it for some of the most popular fashion houses in the world! Supermodel Anok Yai, didn't walk for Mugler despite her recently being chosen as the face for the brand, and I definitely missed her presence! 😭 However our favourite curvy models Precious Lee and Paloma Elsesser did. I wasn't too excited by the outfits they were wearing, it felt like they gave them the safe options. I see this happening far too often with plus size models and it's frankly getting extremely tiring. It's rare to have bigger bodies on the runway at all, but if we do they're completely covered up. Plus size models are barely visible, we only get 1 or maybe 2 if we're lucky on the runway at a time, because yay tokenism! 🥲
Model and gamer, Paris HK said it perfectly. Bigger bodies deserve so much better. I say this at least 10 times a year smh.
Moving onto better news, my other fav Balmain, was brilliant… but I'm never surprised by that. Olivier Rousteing has been the creative director since 2011, and he's a Black French designer who always knows how to bring life back into the runway. His recent custom looks haven't been giving the same energy and I'm not sure why, but his collections are never a disappointment! He puts his foot in that sh** EVERY TIME! His FW24 show was gorgeous, however he could have came a little harder! His core ideas were based on heritage and his hometown, Bordeaux. His take was elegant and giving grown woman, which makes sense because some designs were inspired by his mother's wardrobe too. We saw lots of different ways he incorporated fruits and shells into perfect pieces of walking art. A few designs felt a tad bit unfinished, and I wasn't a fan of him pairing slouchy Chino style trousers with the corsets. However for the most part Olivier absolutely delivered. I liked his bags too which usually go under the radar. There was so much to enjoy with this collection. Olivier is a brilliant designer, and I always look forward to what he brings to fashion week because he rarely ever disappoints!

Off-White also has a Black creative director by the name of Ibrahim Kamara, who is also the Editor-in-Chief of Dazed. I completely loved his collection! Butterflies, pastels, fur, dice, lime green… and everything that makes me happy 😊 it had a New York edge to it and felt like an obvious nod to hip-hop and overall Black culture. It was a nice combination of basketball bags and the matching sneakers, and not to mention the hoochie mama designs, which y'all know that I love! His collection was giving “girly but keep it gangster” and that's definitely a bit of me. At first Ibrahim seemed like he lacked the confidence to really go for it when he debuted his very first collection for Off-White SS23. For those that don't know, he took over as CD when the incredibly talented, Virgil Abloh suddenly passed away in November 2021. Tbh I wasn't moved by Ib’s first collection but since then he's found his footing bit by bit. This season I definitely enjoyed the menswear a lot more than the womenswear unfortunately, which is crazy because the potential was totally there but it seemed like Kamara wanted to keep the girls more edgy. Models like Chanel Iman and Jourdan Dunn were spotted walking in the show, of course they came to f**k sh** up as per usual!

Off-White FW24
My girlfriend in my head aka Precious Lee, walked for the show wearing a trench coat that completely covered her up 🙃 yet again, why do designers always hire plus size models and cover them in excessive amounts of fabric? It's childish, like grow up! I wanna see her titties bouncing like a basketball on a court. Stop playing with me. It's always the same stupidness and as a plus size baddie myself, it truly jars me. The same thing happened last fw season and it needs to stop.
I want to see girls like Precious Lee wearing sexy bodycon dresses or figure hugging clothes that show off her shape, because that's more realistic. That's how I look when I'm wearing my favourite clothes and there's absolutely nothing wrong with that. All bodies deserve to be seen regardless of their proportions. Have you seen her body?!?! Why hire someone as delicious as Precious if they're just gonna drape loads of pointless material to hide her magnificent curves??? Don't piss me off.

On a happier note, Halle Bailey and Willow Smith were spotted in front row. It was a nice moment that everyone seemed excited for, including me! I hope we can see a duo from them one day, because not only do they compliment eachother visually but musically that would be an iconic link up.
So fashion week this season was a bit chaotic as always, but in some ways quite impressive. I must always ask though, when will the day come when we see a Black woman occupying the role of creative director of a huge fashion house??? We've seen Pharrell takeover at Louis Vuitton for menswear and several other Black men are in that chair for Balmain, Off-White etc …so when will Black women get the opportunity? Moschino is one of my favourite brands of all time, but their recent decision to hire another white man has left a bad taste in my mouth. They've never had a Black CD and haven't had a female one in over 20 years! I think it's time for a change. Where's Gabriella KJ at? 👀 Or even the CEO of Black owned luxury fashion brand, Hanifa? It's 2024 and Black women are the ones who are buying fashion items THE MOST, but are leading in the big fashion roles THE LEAST. It burns me to my core y'all. It's hard to love fashion whilst witnessing this sh** to be completely honest with you. The only thing that keeps me smiling is seeing people like Tolu Coker being praised, and seeing more Black models on the runway. A win is still a win! So I will take those wins and skip all the way to the very last topic…
Here is my best and the worst of FW24!
BEST:
Susan Liang
Chen Peng
Balmain
Schiaparelli
Richard Quinn
Wiederhoeft
Harris Reed
Diesel
Tolu Coker
Stella McCartney
WORST:
Alexander McQueen
Moschino
Vivienne Westwood
Balenciaga
Louis Vuitton
Miu Miu
Loewe
Blumarine
Well I hope I was able to teach you something about fashion week that you never knew, or maybe you just enjoyed having a little kiki with me 😊 Whichever it was, I wish you all a beautiful start to Spring! And I hope you have your pastel outfits ready, because being afraid of colour is silly. Life is too short to only wear Black, and if it feels like I'm talking to you then I probably am... Fight me 🥰🥰🥰 Plus everybody knows that baby pink looks pretty on darker skin 😉
xoxo LaLa

What Everyone Ought To Know About Bulletproof Fashion Clothing
Every woman should have not one, but 2 little black dresses: one formal wardrobe and the other an everyday, casual, yet sexy and cute apparel. Generally formal occasions would definitely need you to get an up hairdo and darkish colored make up is a good method to wear the formal occasions at night. You wear the same clothes repeatedly. The clothes EITHER come with glowing strips that are fluorescent, or they have a fluorescent design on them that glows in the lights. Do you have all the right clothes to make sure you’re prepared for whatever may come your way? This has reached such an extent that an actor’s appearance in a specific movie can enter our lexicon as a descriptive term in its own right. Update your wardrobe on a budget by using the right coupons and promo codes. Using women’s scarves is a unique way to accessorize your outfits. Among the list of easiest ways to appear fabulous while applying little to no effort is as simple as using a fashionable and stylish dress that’s feminine, relaxed, and complementing. With a little advice a little knowledge about your own body, and some elegant clothing, it really is a cinch to look great as one of the fabulous women of 60!
youtube
From little boys playing cowboys and Indians, to ranch hands, to little girls playing dress up, to country singers, everyone wears these hats. And remember to wash both new and previously worn items before your infant wears them. The changes in style to such items are more subtle to the untrained eye, so unless you're hanging around Vera Wang, it's not likely anyone's going to notice the difference. Any time every person is thinking about who did “this” and who put on “that” to the most terrific night ever, most individuals really want to not only be in the know, but more than that, many also want to be recalled for setting it off, diva style. Some people just choose to put on their party clothes like that without any concern if they look fresh enough for some fresh clothes. So better step into the shower and feel and look fresh for any exhausting party up ahead. Iron the outfit first and try to make certain that they’re appropriately ironed in such a way that pleated gown will display the pleats and should the costume be a easy flowing one, steer clear of the annoying crumpled fabric from ruining your over all party appearance.
Drawing Clothes Fashion Ideas
There are a number of recognizable names within the industry, and these designers are credited with furthering the production of high quality costume jewelry. As girls kawaii clothes of the average America changed, so did the prominence of jewelry among all social classes. Cinch these on the waist with a solid colored belt and pair with statement jewelry pieces. Two-piece pajamas that snap together at the waist work well because they have more than one layer of snaps for adjustability. Jackets that zip or snap in the front are best. Accepted that these lists are extremely fickle, with our A-Listers regularly being shuttled from one to the other, the fact still remains that they do have a role to play in directing men’s fashions. The recent ‘male style special’ in the Times is a case in point: they use the eponymous handsome bad-boy Dominic Cooper, (lately seen in the film ‘Tamara Drewe’), to model the latest fashions.
It is saying a lot about the power of fashion when an outfit alone can give you the title of a film. In some instances, a film is completely defined by its fashion. The Oscar winners in the fashion stakes tend to be stars such as Johnny Depp, Gerard Butler and Zac Efron. Movie premiers and award nights mean that their male stars receive yards of column inches, making them an excellent clotheshorse for fashion editors. Without a doubt that is a basic rule but getting ready for a significant event doesn’t simply involve putting on something good, it will mean looking excellent as well. Things will all be dependent in respect of exactly how the event could be. Say, get a make-up that is in light violet tone and include a darker tone once the night takes over to ensure that you will not need to perform repeatedly the make-up process all over. As much as you prepare for your outfit - the costume, women’s scarves, accessories, make-up and all other crucial get together items - keep in mind to keep track of time. If https://themostexpensivebath.com/art-of-accessorizing-complementing-your-outfit-with-kawaii-rabbit-ears-sweatshirts/ receive items you don't need, try to exchange them for those you do need.

How to Get Your Brand in the Movies
You know your brand is a star, but have you ever wondered how to get your brand into the movies?
There are many ways to get your brand in a movie and make that positioning partnership, as well as grow your brand. Generating awareness of your brand is limited only by your imagination and budget. However, you don't need a multimillion dollar budget to make that happen.
Lainie Strouse, the president of Lower Merion Productions has developed, produced and sold “Teacher of the Year,” is executive producer of “E.A.T. with Gavin Rossdale” and the feature film, “Abby's Party.”
According to Strouse, there are a lot of ways to figure out what movie projects you should be investigating. It starts with:
What are your goals for the brand?
What is your brand story?
What is the positioning of your brand? What kind of movie does it make sense to be in?
What is your strategy? What are you trying to do to get your brand to the next level?
What are your demographics, who is your audience and what kind of movie would influence them?
How are you selling your product and what might help sales?
What kind of visibility are you seeking? Do you want your product to be in the movie, supporting the movie or part of the promotion of the movie? What kind of engagement are you seeking?
You have to be creative when strategizing what opportunities you want.
A great starting point might be what can you offer the movie?
For instance, every movie needs promotion. Do you have celebrities, a cause or a very publicizable message and how can your brand help a movie get more buzz? Do you have product or make-up artists that would be available? What budget can you invest in the project? Remember, producers need you.
To be in a movie you need to be able to give it product and/or support it in any of these one or more ways. What can your brand offer to support a movie? Movie producers are always  on the lookout for everything that their projects need from products to cash. And they are always seeking revenue streams to support their projects.
Providing products to be on-screen is known as entertainment marketing or product placement. Julia Roberts was caught wearing a Wallaroo unisex fedora hat called The Outback in her new movie “Ticket to Paradise,” co-starring George Clooney. Roberts’ character wears the sun-protective fedora fabulously, highlighting the importance of protecting one’s skin from dangerous UV rays.
Earlier this year, the trendiest compost bin, Bamboozle, made its appearance in Netflix's most talked about kitchen on the show “Beef.” The composting bin dabbed by The Strategist as the one “all the ‘hot, environmentally conscious’ New Yorkers have,” was recently spotted adorning the kitchen counter of the fabulous Amy Hau, better known as Ali Wong, a true aficionado of chic design.
How did that happen? The great news is that small brands can get far if they can figure out how to make what they are offering attractive and to be at the right place at the right time. Producers are going to manufacturers. How can you get them to come to you or better yet, how can you get to them and create opportunities?
You may consider meeting producers by getting involved with or going to:
Sundance in Park City, Utah and/or getting involved in many of their events.
Film festivals around the country.
Reading the trade publications of the industry such as Variety and the Hollywood Reporter.
Becoming familiar with IMDb, the internet movie database.
Seek opportunities with relevant makeup and hairstylist guilds.
Go to film schools and see what opportunities they may offer or that you can suggest.
Contact independent film production companies.
If you want to pay a fee you could also consider contacting product placement companies such as International Promotions, BenLabs, etc.
Kia Kiso, award-winning independent producer and president of Zaza Productions has more than 60 producing credits on a wide range of projects including commercials, music videos, TV pilots, series, award shows, short films and social issue documentaries. Her producing awards and accolades include multiple nominations and wins for feature documentary “Mile… Mile & A Half,” a music video for Keb’ Mo’s “America the Beautiful,” and a “Recommend by Oprah” designation for her feature documentary, “Spiritual Liberation.”
“Filmmakers are eager to find good, mutually beneficial deals,” Kiso encourages. “However, the commission and fees of product placement companies sometimes make the relationship more trouble than it is worth. So, at the very least, brands should post on their website how they can be contacted for opportunities. Yet often we do not have the time or bandwidth to do deep-dive research and cold calls to marketing departments ourselves. So, when like-minded brands reach out to us, we are in heaven. We become eager to find a way to make it work. Within reason, of course. Ultimately, our job is to protect the creative vision of the project, so be judicious with your offer. Be creative and flexible because there are many ways to structure the relationship so everyone’s goals are met.”
Strouse suggests if you are seeking alignment for your beauty brand you can:
Get your products visible in the movie.
Help out with makeup, etc. on the set.
Be in gift bags.
Do touch ups at parties.
Kiso says, “While producing several of my documentaries, I have seen success with brands who understood what we were up to, had the same audience/customer, and were creative in the ways we could partner up. In addition to social media pushes, one retail brand offered up stores and parking lots for crowdfunding event spaces. Another provided their product to be used in the film and for our community giveaways. Our popular, award-winning film became synonymous with their products.”
Strouse adds, "There is a magic that happens when you start this process. It can be lightning in a bottle. It is all about creating a win-win then running with it."

What should I wear for my spouse’s beach business trip?
LA JOLIE MLN SPOUSE BIZ BEACH TRIP 2023
What should I wear on my spouse’s beach business trip?
If you saw the movie Legally Blond, you’ll remember the scene where Elle Woods (Reese’s character) shows up at a party dressed as a Playboy Bunny. A bitchy rival told her it was a costume party just to set up Elle and embarrass her. As fans of the movie know, Elle has the last laugh. But imagine you are accompanying your husband on a business trip that takes place at a beach resort. Let’s say you decide to wear your new bikini to breakfast, but your bikini body isn’t quite ready for the moment, or your tan doesn’t exist. Oops!
In short, do your homework.
According to the NY Times, business is going poolside. Small groups or teams are meeting at resorts in Miami and other sunny areas. The article stresses “Don’t overdress.” But it also tells the story of a group of colleagues trying to manage “where to look” when a waitress comes to take their order wearing a bikini.” Needless-to-say, it took everyone’s mind off the business at hand.
So what should you wear? Here are a few tips…
For women, pair a blouse with a pair of white jeans or summer pants
T-shirts and shorts are not typically acceptable, but a silky T tucked in to a pair of summer dress pants can be an elegant look
For both men and women, flip flops are a no-no, but elegant sandals are fine
Keep in mind, business meetings are private, so the working spouse will most likely spend time in an air-conditioned conference room. As for the dress code, that resides with corporate management. If this is your first rodeo, keep it professional. This is especially important for younger employees who are meeting older managers for the first time. Leave the sexy apparel at home.
This rule holds true for the spouse. You are just as capable of crashing your partner’s reputation as the working spouse. So, in addition to keeping your look appropriate, DON’T OVER DRINK.
Here are some resort elegant looks:
It’s the first night, and you want to make an impression at dinner. If the occasion calls for a dressy look, here’s a stunner:
If less dressy is on the menu, here’s a crisp white top and mid-calf skirt that doesn’t scream ‘look at me’, but they will.
Remember, every swimsuit needs a cover up. Here’s a cute option. It’s just above the knee and can be worn to lunch. Just remember to button up once you’re away from the pool.
Shop La Jolie MLN for your next business away trip.
Our Grand Flutter Sleeve Stripe Pattern dress is great for arrival and touring. You can wear this all day and be pretty, proper, and appropriate for the occasion.
Our Jovani White Off Shoulder Jump Suit is perfect for a dress-up dinner or banquet. It features a comfy jersey material and belt for a great fit.
Here’s a whole look to consider that includes the dress, a hat, sunglasses, a purse, slides, and fun earrings.
Find your look.
La Jolie MLN is noted for our fashion-forward looks No matter what your size or shape, we offer a fabulous array of apparel: t-shirts, tops, dresses, skirts, blouses, and eveningwear in a range of prices.
Find your dream outfit at La Jolie MLN.

the definitive Gandalf ranking
(I will only be ranking movie/TV designs of Gandalf the Grey)
1. Gandalf from the 1985 teleplay The Fabulous Journey of Mr. Bilbo Baggins the Hobbit
Tumblr media Tumblr media
This Gandalf has a long beard, thigh high boots, weird eyebrows, and glitter on his cheeks. What else could you need? 9.75/10 for not having a funny hat
2. Gandalf from the 1978 Bakshi film The Lord of the Rings
Tumblr media Tumblr media
This Gandalf is amazing, he has a big hat, a big beard, and even bigger robes. Also his facial expressions crack me up. 9.5/10 for being mostly blue
3. Gandalf from the 1977 Rankin/Bass film The Hobbit
Tumblr media Tumblr media
This Gandalf has the best eyebrows anyone will ever see, a styled beard, a nice and pointy nose, and a lovely little hood. 9.25/10 for having a cool shot of him in front of lightning
4. Gandalf from the 2001-2003 Peter Jackson film trilogy The Lord of the Rings
Tumblr media
This Gandalf is truly Grey and has the wandering look down to a t: the belt, the bag, and most importantly the pipe in his staff. 9/10 for his short beard
5. Gandalf from the 1967 Gene Deitch film The Hobbit
Tumblr media
This Gandalf is simple yet striking, he has his signature long beard and a funny little thing on his head. 7/10 for wearing just one big sheet
6. Gandalf from the 1993 TV series Hobitit
Tumblr media
This Gandalf has the hair and mustache, yet lacks the overall outfit. (also I couldn't find a picture of it) 5/10 for being basic and bland
7. Gandalf from the 1991 teleplay Khraniteli
Tumblr media
This Gandalf is odd but not in a good way, the best thing about his design are his bangs. 3/10 for putting in minimal effort

Tumblr media
I haven't even watched the new MLP movie, I don't even think I can, it makes me so depressed. All my favorite ponies are dead. I didn't even finish the last season of G4 because the show kind of turned to garbage. But I saw how it ended, and I hated seeing them all old. It's sad, I just wanted it to be open ended with it implied they continue to go on lots of adventures. But it ended with them old, Rarity was already greying, Pinkie had a canon kid, Spike turned into a hideous abomination, and Twilight was gonna outlive all her friends. I hate it. MLP was a comfy show and it made me happy, but it ended up just being depressing.
And it's not just the Mane 6 that are long dead, it's all the hundreds of background ponies that are dead!
Tumblr media
Derpy Hooves my beloved, she means so much to me, I love her so much. But she's dead and gone. All the background six, everyone!!! THEY'RE ALL DEAD!! So many ponies DEAD!!
And they're replaced with this.
Tumblr media
They are not aesthetic.
I just, really don't care for these designs. They all have the same eyes, and almost human looking faces. It's kind of uncanny valley. I don't like the hair either, it's so uninspired. There are so many unique hair designs on the g4 ponies. I mean besides color, cutie mark and slight eye variations that was the main way to show characterization. You could show what kind of personality they had with the design of the hair.
With Twilight, you got a very clean straight cut, orderly, it gives you the impression she a nerdy bookish type just by looking at her.
Pinky Pie, curly, bubbly bouncy curls, shows she's a very fun and exciting pony.
Rarity, elegant, styled and fabulous. You can tell she cares about her looks and is the stylish one.
Fluttershy, long and flowing, covering her face a bit. Gives her a delicate appearance and makes her seem shy.
Rainbow Dash, messy unstyled rainbow hair, makes her seem wild and adventurous.
Applejack, it's tied back and she's wearing a hat, obviously she works a lot, and spends a lot of time outside.
The color of them also relates to their personality, purple is mysterious, elegant and magical, blue and rainbow is cool and exciting, pink is fun and bubbly, orange is warm and strong, yellow and pink is soft and comforting. The colors and hair give off strong characters tells just by looking at them.
I could go on, about so many other ponies too.
But with these new ponies, I really can't infer much about them.
The unicorn has long, wavy, princess like hair, her color scheme also gives me princess vibes, she just looks like a bit of a quirky princess.
The orange one, has her hair tied back and braided, she looks kind of adventurous I guess, sort of nerdy, idk, I'm just not getting much from her.
The purple pegasus kind of gives me Rarity vibes. Sort of. I don't know. She looks very rich, she's got the gold hair piece and gold hooves going on
The other pegasus just looks like toothpaste, she just looks like someone took a tube a toothpaste and squeezed a dab of it out on her head, I hate it. That color pink with that color streak?? What were they thinking, it does not clash well together. But she just looks like the Rainbow Dash type one, or just a butch lesbian pegasus, idk, I just really don't like her design.
The you have the male earth pony. He just looks like, the dude, the guy, the bro, I really can't tell much of his personality just by looking at him, there's not much to go on.
I don't like them, I really don't. In g4 there are so many well designed ponies. Most of the background ponies have great designs. But for this, all of the main characters look so generic. I wish it was better, I really do. Maybe it's because of the 3d, I really don't care for it, they look like weird pony human hybrids, it makes me uncomfortable. The eyebrows kind of help make them look a little too human like in the face. They're just one smaller nose away from looking like Elsa.
I just miss the mane 6 so much, I wish the show hadn't ended the way it did and I wish this new generation took place in a different dimension or something. Everything the mane 6 did was all for nothing, Twilight's legacy completely gone. All my favorite ponies: dead.
My heart is broken. I know it's all fictional but still, those ponies meant a lot to me.

EQG Outfits: Season 1 or Season 2?
Twilight Sparkle✨/⚙
Tumblr media
I don´t know how much of an unpopular opinion this is, but, my favorite base outfit for Twi on the EQG series will always be Crystal Prep one (#1), the school girl aesthetic was made for her, #2 is ok, it´s pretty similar to #1 but more un-school, and #3 and #4 are pretty much the same (maybe #3 having a bit more detail and effort than #4).
Pinkie Pie 🎈
Tumblr media
I like a bit more the first design for Pinkie than the season 2 one (just by a short shot, because I like both), mainly because the more blue items (her "jacket" and wristbands) it has, it makes for a good contrast rather than the second one that the most blue it got are the shoes and the rest is either pink or white.
Rarity 💎
Tumblr media
Let´s be honest here, Rarity looks great on pretty much anything. The season 2 outfit screams who she is pretty well being loaded with jewelry, but still, the first one is both simple and also fabulous.
Fluttershy 🦋
Tumblr media
Clearly an upgrade from the first one, Fluttershy´s first design was kinda there, it was a fairly short skirt with a sleeveless plain white t-shirt (which is kinda revealing and odd for someone who´s that shy), then the second one goes and gives her a sundress with a design that´s more "flowery", also her sandals are cute.
Applejack 🍎
Tumblr media
AJ is one of those cases were both outfits are quite similar, but there´s just a world of diference, her first outfit is just a regular farm girl attire (boots, denim skirt, a shirt with it´s sleeves rolled up, and ofcourse, her trademark hat), but the second one, it has an special charm to it: she keeps the high boots but this time with a bit more details to them, her skirt is more textured with the sew and the pockets, I love her t-shirt since it not only looks way fresher but also is more modern than the previous one, and ofcourse, the hat.
Rainbow Dash 🌈
Tumblr media
Dash´s first design was kind of a mess with the skirt going on top of sports short and the rainbow print socks (looks more like a clown tbh), then season 2 came and improved all of it: no more knee high shoes and socks, but now some sneakers, leggings with a rainbow gradient lightning bolt patern and a short jacket on top of her old t-shirt, this attire has as much personality as the girl wearing it.
Sunset Shimmer 🔥
Tumblr media
Sunset´s #1 and #2 were almost a close tie, I like how #2´s reflects Sunset´s pass through her redemption after the first movie, wearing more "calm" colors such as blues to contrast with her reds and oranges. But, my absolute favorite has to be #1, if you look it enough, you´ll notice that it´s pretty similar to #3, BUT with the added value of being a Sunset so different from the one from the beggining of the story, which gives me the vibe of a "bad girl" that turn on a new leaf and now is the "goodest bad girl".
Trixie Lulamoon 🔮
Tumblr media
Quite literally the same outfit, only difference being the change of shoes (Trixie wasn´t redesign for the second season, but I didn´t feel like leaving her out of the post tbh).
Bonus
Ok, I know I said that the season 2 designs for Applejack and Rainbow Dash were superior than the first ones, BUT, here I want to mention the Kotobukiya redesigns (since they are the only ones from the Mane 7 who has a completely new look on that figure line).
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Just look at them, these outfits are better than they have the rigth to be (just imagine these on the show´s designs).
Bonus Bonus:
Also, I´m really glad they decided to get rid of the knee high boots, they were just ridiculous.

Ranking Crimson Peak Looks- Edith
8. Nightgown/dressing-gown
Tumblr media
The combination of super-high neck and super-puffy sleeves just isn’t my favorite. It’s still gorgeous and AMAZINGLY detailed, but for me, personally? Not high on the list.
7. Dinner dress
Tumblr media
Again- stunning! Intricate! But also way too fluffy in weird places for my taste. The ruffles at the neck and sleeves just aren’t It as far as I’m concerned, especially because they seem to echo her hairstyle in a way that just looks fussy. I feel like there’s a reason this doesn’t get made very much by cosplayers- and not just because Holy Shit Pleats(TM).
6. Travelling coat
Tumblr media
I LOVE the capelet silhouette and the soutache. Plus, an interesting departure from her usual greens and golds, which makes sense- most people don’t have every single garment in their favorite color.
The flower garland? Less appealing to me. But again, that’s just me.
5. Nancy Drew Dress (aka the only one I know the costumer’s personal name for)
Tumblr media
This is so quintessentially Edith to me. Bright gold, simple at first glance but incredibly detailed when you look closer, relatively practical for the world of the movie. It’s not my all-time favorite, but in the reverse of the dinner dress’ situation, I definitely get why it’s a cosplay darling. Love the black ribbon down the back that adds a touch of shadow in her light motif and echoes her ball gown.
4. Green jacket
Tumblr media
DEEP GREENS ARE MY EVERYTHING.
...AFTER DEEP REDS. BUT STILL
3. Publisher’s office dress
Tumblr media
Gold and black? Love. Always love. I adore how crisply-tailored this look is, and almost menswear-inspired in places with the double-breasted buttons and sharp collar. Business Edith is ready to take on the world and look fabulous doing it.
2. Ball gown
Tumblr media
How do I adore this dress? Let me count the ways.
- delicate warm cream color. if Edith is the sun in most scenes, here she’s candlelight- which, of course, fits perfectly
- Renaissance inspiration in the criss-crossed pearls over the bodice. this is big because Lucille’s dress in the same scene has some Jacobean hints to it. they’re both out of time among all the more conventional late Victorian looks (albeit more subtly for Edith). the costumes are already linking them together in a barely perceptible way, which is SO COOL
- I love little draped off-shoulder strings of beads or pearls. that’s just a personal thing
- positively made for sweeping elegantly around the ballroom in
- again, that dark ribbon down the back as with the Nancy Drew dress. such drama very foreshadowing wow
1. Park outfit
Tumblr media
Okay, yes, we all covet the clasped-hands belt. I also just adore the really delicate black soutache details on the shirtwaist, the period touch of the decorative buttons on the skirt, the puffs that sit a bit lower on the sleeves...and, of course, the hat that has us all screaming “BUT IS SHE A BUTTERFLY THOUGH? IS SHE? I’M NOT SURE I GET WHETHER SHE IS A BUTTERFLY OR NOT” in the best way possible
so historical. so artistic. the perfect balance of simple and detailed for me, personally. chef’s kiss.
