But anyways, except for that obvious dataselling bs, I guess its time for me to say that I tested positive for TB. Hence why Ive been deathly silent.
Or as I like it to call it

Y/n and Theseus met because of Newt. All 3 of them were in Hufflepuff and Y/n didn’t have any friends. Newt sat next to her one day and they became friends, then, she met Newt’s older brother, Theseus. She was instantly attracted to him, and it was the same for him, he thought she was the most beautiful woman he’d ever seen. Years went by and they were both 20. After a one-night stand, Y/n started to feel nauseous, she feared that the protection they wore, didn’t do its job. So, when the test came back positive, it was time to break the news to Theseus.
‘’You might want to sit down’’ Y/n warned the man. ‘’What are you going to tell me? You’re not pregnant, are you?’’ he joked. Y/n’s heart sank, she became pale. ‘’Well, yes, I am Theseus, I did 4 tests, they all came back positive’’ she nervously said. Theseus immediately felt bad from what he just said. He was happy, he was going to be a dad, having a family of his own as always been his dream. ‘’Oh my! Y/n that’s an amazing news! I can’t wait to tell Newt!’’ He smiles. Y/n breath out in relief, her eyes fill with tears, happy tears. ‘’So, you’re happy?’’ she asked. ‘’Yes, it’s wonderful!’’ he exclaimed, hugging her.
‘’Thank you for inviting me over, it’s been a while since I’ve saw you. How are you, Y/n?’’ Newt says, sitting at the table. Y/n and Theseus didn’t have a game plan, they didn’t think about a way to announce it. ‘’I’m great, Newt, by the way, you’re going to be an uncle.’’ She blurted out. Newt dropped his fork as he looked at them. ‘’What?’’ he mumbled. ‘’I’m pregnant, Newt. And Theseus is the father’’ she smiled. ‘’Really?’’ he smiled. Theseus nodded and took Y/n’s hand. ‘’That’s amazing! Congratulations! I’m going to be an uncle!’’ he exclaimed, he looked really happy. ‘’That’s why the Qilin was so excited, he saw the baby’s soul’’ he murmurs. ‘’This early?’’ Y/n asked, putting a hand on her stomach. Newt nodded and smiled. Theseus smiled to his brother as they continued to talk about life.
Her stomach was starting to show, she was so happy. She was looking at herself in the mirror, smiling. ‘’Theseus! Come here!’’ she yelled. He ran upstairs, afraid something bad happened to her. ‘’Are you okay? Is the baby, okay? Do I need to call Newt?’’ he quickly said. Y/n laughed and shook her head. ‘’Look, I’m showing! Can you see it!’’ she lifted her shirt, exposing her small bump. Theseus calmed down and looked at her belly. ‘’Oh my, that’s amazing!’’ he dropped to his knees and put his hand on her stomach. ‘’Hello little one, I’m your father. I don’t know if you can hear me, but I can’t wait to meet you’’ he whispered. Y/n’s eyes filled with tears. ‘’You made me cry’’ she said, wiping her tears. He got up and hugged her, kissing her cheek in the process. They didn’t figure out what their relationship was, it pained them both. ‘’Y/n, what are we?’’ he whispered in her ear. ‘’I don’t know, but I know that I love you, more than a friend’’ she replied. They stopped hugging and sat on the bed. ‘’I want to be more than a friend to you, Y/n. I love you, you’re the mother of my child, that’s the most important thing. I want to be with you, if you’ll allow me to’’ he confessed. Y/n cried even more. ‘’I love you too, yes, I’ll allow it, silly’’ she laughed as they kissed.
‘’Why is the Qilin in our house?’’ Theseus asked his girlfriend and brother as he entered his home. Y/n turned around; her belly was getting bigger. 3 months left in her pregnancy, they recently discovered that she was carrying twins, a boy and a girl. Her belly was really big, but she was happy. Newt looked at his brother and smiled. ‘’He was grumpy, and the only thing that calms him down is seeing the twin’s soul.’’ Newt explained as Y/n petted the small animal. Theseus looked at Y/n shirt, it had a weird shape. ‘’Oh, the Niffler is in there, he wanted somewhere warm to sleep’’ she explained. Theseus swore under his breath and let out a sigh. ‘’Newt, I don’t want you creatures to roam around the house and risk hurting – ‘’ Y/n cut him off. ‘’Shush! They’re kicking!’’ she said, touching her belly. Theseus stopped his sentence and went near his girlfriend. ‘’Here’’ she took his hand and placed it where the baby kicked. He smiled to her when he felt it. ‘’That’s beautiful’’ he whispered. ‘’Newt, do you want to touch?’’ she asked. He nodded and put his hand on her stomach. They all looked at each other, smiling, tears in their eyes.
‘’For the last time, Thesus, it was a Braxton Hicks contraction. I’m okay’’ she said, rubbing her stomach. ‘’But if you go into labour and I’m not there!’’ he said. ‘’I will call you. I’m safe, Newt’s coming and the Qilin can sense the babies, I promise, go to work, get that promotion’’ she said. ‘’If there’s any change, even another Braxton Hicks, call me’’ he said. She nodded as he left his home, at the same time, Newt entered. ‘’I thought he’d never leave’’ Y/n chuckles. Pickett comes out of Newt’s pocket to jump on Y/n’s belly. ‘’Hello, you’’ she squeals. The creatures smile and jumps on her belly as a sign of joy. ‘’When’s your due date?’’ he asked, sitting on the couch. ‘’Yesterday, that’s why he’s so nervous’’ she says, smiling. The Qilin gets out of Newt’s case and sits next to her, resting his head on her belly. ‘’He’s always been nervous, but I get him’’ he says. ‘’Can you do me a favour? Can you go and make some raspberry leaf tea, Muggles say it helps the woman going into labour’’ she explains as Newt goes to make tea. She pets the Qilin as she waits for her boyfriend’s brother. She feels a pain in her stomach, so she takes deep breath to make them pass, but it doesn’t work. She doesn’t tell Newt, because she’s not sure if they’re real or not. The Qilin rise his head, looking at Y/n. His eyes talk: C’mon, tell him. Y/n shakes her head, Pickett squeaks. ‘’What are they trying to tell you?’’ Newt asks as he puts her cup down. ‘’They want me to tell you that I’m having contractions, but I’m not sure if they’re real or not’’ she confesses.
‘’I swear, you’re lucky I’m carrying two! Because I’m not doing this again” she moaned in pain. Theseus rubbed her back and tried to support her the best he could. She had been in labor for 13 hours without medication because it could be dangerous for the babies. ‘’You’re so strong, my darling, keep breathing, you got this’’ he praised her. Y/n felt pressure down there, like she needed to push. ‘’I need to push, like right now!’’ she announced. ‘’Go ahead, sweetie’’ the nurse called out. She pushed with all the energy she had left to try and get one of her babies out. ‘’You’re a warrior, come on give me another push like that and one of them is out’’ the nurse encouraged her. She pushed again. This time, the room was filled with cries, baby cries. Y/n let out a breath as she looked at her baby. ‘’It’s a boy’’ Their baby boy was born first, Y/n sobbed with joy. ‘’You did it, my love, our boy is here’’ Theseus calls out. ‘’Come on, Y/n, push again’’ the nurse calls out. ‘’Bollocks, I have to do it again’’ she groaned in pain. Theseus chuckled as he supported her again. 15 minutes later, Y/n was sitting with her girl in her arms, while Theseus was holding their boy. Newt came in the room, with Tina, Jacob, and Queenie following him. ‘’Congratulations!’’ Queenie squeals. Y/n smiles, she was exhausted and only wanted to sleep, but she wanted to be there for her guests. ‘’How did it go?’’ Tina asked, more calmly. ‘’It was so long, but I’m happy that they’re here’’ Y/n says. ‘’Do you want to know their names?’’ Theseus says, looking at the guests. ‘’That’s Emory Scamander’’ Y/n announces, smiling. ‘’And that’s Eugene Newton Scamander’’ at the sound of his name, Newt’s eyes fill with tears. ‘’You named him after me?’’ he softly asks. They both nod and smile. ‘’Oh’’ he softly reacts. ‘’Two E names, was it intentional?’’ Jacob laughs. ‘’Emory means strength and leadership and Eugene means noble’’ Y/n explains. ‘’You guys are such a beautiful family’’ Queenie says. Y/n and Theseus felt like it, a family. After all this time of loving each other, they now had children together. They were the happiest they’ve ever been.

Help Cyan Get Through It.
Things are really difficult. The crime wave makes us live in fear, the drought makes us have hours and hours of blackouts, I’m paid the bare minimum, I’min pain, stretched thin and with nothing to my name. I’ve had to start selling things I can find around the house and I’m physically and emotionally exhausted.
For brevity I’ll list what’s going on quick and put explanations of each under read more but, if you can, please donate and share. I can’t carry on like this.
I’ve been disabled after a surgery. I’m in constant pain and my body is not the same since.
I am in the process of getting evaluated for disability, this is long and expensive,
There’s my psychiatric medications which are also, expensive.
My cat had to be admitted through emergency and then hospitalized.
Crime crisis, energy crisis, and making $400 a month make it all harder.
Please, help. More under the cut.
Disabled after surgery. I had a bilateral thoracic sympathectomy for hyperhidrosis. This is a procedure that pulverizes specific nerves, and ever since then I have no exercise tolerance, my heart beats fast and irregularly, I run out of breath while walking. I’m in constant, chronic, back pain. I can’t stay in a single position for too long regardless of if it is sitting, standing, or laying down, I need to be constantly repositioning myself. For reference, I am 26, 5’0 and 120 lbs.
The process for disability is long and expensive, it is supposedly free, but in here you have to even pay the schedulers or have someone inside to be seen. This is done by the government and they only accept assessments by doctors who work in the institution, meaning all my private testing is null for this process. There’s also the service fees. I need to be seen by a psychologist, psychiatrist, neurologist, neurosurgeon, pulmonologist, cardiologist and traumatologist. As well as get a new MRI, I don’t know what further testing they’ll ask of me. This is done at Los Ceibos. Even if I go through all of this, there’s no guarantee they’ll recognize me as disabled.
I have my own doctor, my psychiatrist, for a while, but an appointment with her is expensive, and so are the psychiatric medications. I’m on Venlafaxine, Methylphenidate and Bromazepam. That’s $300.
My cat Nalo, is 14, he had to be taken to veterinary emergency and then admitted. His intestines were inflamed, there were crystals in his urine that destroyed his urethra, he couldn’t hold anything down and was extremely dehydrated, one of his heart valves doesn’t work anymore. He’s doing better now but he has a strict routine, such as $70 kibble and permanent heart medication.
The crime crisis has made it so anyone can become a victim. January 2023 my father was kidnapped, June 2023 evaded a kidnapping event, January of this year made us go viral, a british millionaire got kidnapped, the sister of a friend at the university I study. We all have a story. So, if I go out and I get mugged, which there is a high chance of, and they take my phone, I become unemployed. I need it to work, and thus need a backup. There’s a drought which means we have no water in our energy dams, meaning we have blackouts for several hours a day every day, and that makes it so that sometimes I have ten hour shifts. I make $400 a month which is not uncommon here but it is not enough, I need to get accommodations for my disability, like an actual ergonomic chair, an appropriate desk.

You can’t seem to stop the shake in your leg while you sit on the bed, and as your hands run across the comforter you pick off a stray piece of lent. Your eyes dart back to the bathroom door, and the pregnancy test that sits on the counter waiting. The little pink and white stick is a hard contrast against the marble countertop, and you can’t help but glare at it.
It had been 4 weeks since your last treatment, and while the doctors said you would get a positive or negative test by the second week, you couldn’t help but wait. As if the extra two weeks would make the embryo take and you would finally be pregnant.
You and Jake had been trying to have a baby for, four years. Just after your one-year anniversary, you both decided that you were ready and that having a little one running around was the next step. You had been 26 and Jake was 28, it felt like the perfect time. Jake was doing amazing in his career and has been permanently stationed at Top Gun. While you had just been hired on as the kindergarten teacher at Bay Park Elementary. Everything was falling into place, just like you had both planned.
Though after the first year and a half with no success naturally, your OBGYN suggested IVF. She had told you that due to your irregular ovulation pattern you would have trouble the natural way and that IVF would fix everything. That was two and a half years ago, and you were now on your third treatment. Each of the past two ended in failure, and with the third result waiting in the bathroom, you didn’t know if you really wanted to check.
Jake had gotten up this morning for an early run, while you enjoyed the fact that it was Saturday, and you could sleep in for a little bit. Though the need to pee came only moments after Jake was out of the house and now you couldn’t go back to sleep. In the five-minute time span, you were supposed to wait, you had made the bed, eaten breakfast, and started a load of laundry. The recommended five minutes quickly turned into twenty and now you were silently sitting and staring from afar.
You knew that Jake would be home soon, his run usually took thirty to forty- five minutes depending on which route he took, and you didn’t need him walking in on you. You hadn’t told him that you were going to take a pregnancy test, and he never pushed you to. Jake had been wonderful through the whole ordeal, helping with the medication injects that “boosted” your ovulation and he had never missed an appointment. And yes, while your father might have been in charge of the Dagger Squad, he didn’t give Jake any special treatment… Well, not a lot and Jake always made sure to figure out his days. Plus, it helped that the IVF hospital was on base, at the San Diego Naval Medical Center. Yet another plus of being married into the military, your insurance offers reduced fees for IVF. It was still expensive, but cheap enough that you had been able to save for each treatment.
Though the grim outlook was the fact that usually after your third treatment, doctors suggested looking into other options. That was another reason you were avoiding the test, you didn’t think you could mentally or physically go through another round of IVF, even with added ideas.
The last four years had been a continuous loop of your body failing you and Jake. He never said it, God he would never. Jake treated you amazingly, but the small nagging voice in the back of your head played the words on repeat. You were a failure as a woman.
You glance at your watch once more, 7:32 am, Jake would be back anytime. It was now or never. You reluctantly push yourself from the comfort of your mattress and quite literally drag your feet to the bathroom. The tile floor has a shiver running up your spine and you silently curse the cooling weather.
It’s sitting upside down on the counter and you just stare at it for a moment. Hands twisting in anxiety as you slowly spin your wedding ring around your finger. The white stick sits there taunting you, begging you to look.
“Fuck it.”
Your hand snatches the test and flips it over before you can rethink the decision. Your fingers shake as you lift it, eyes zeroing in on the clear window where two pink little lines are supposed to be. A harsh breath leaves your chest, and you bite on your bottom lip to stop it from quivering. Your hands are working on autopilot, grabbing the test and wrapping it in toilet roll before tossing it in the small garbage can. You couldn’t look at the single line anymore. You had seen the exact same test results more times than you could count in the last four years and didn’t need to stare at it to know the answer.
Once again, your body had failed you.
Your hands gently brush across the side of your legs, before reaching forward to wash your hands. You dry them quickly, before glancing in the mirror and the small tear resting on your cheek has you releasing a harsh laugh. Your eyes fall shut as you suck your teeth in annoyance, before wiping the tear away and taking another deep calming breath. If it could work for your 5-year-olds, it could work for you.
“It’s fine.”
Your grasp the counter and roll back on your heels, then lean forward releasing another harsh breath. It wasn’t like your heart felt like it was breaking, nope defiantly not that feeling. Your hands harshly smack against the granite counter, and the palm of your hand stung. Though the pain is welcomed, anything that would distract from the ever-growing crack in your heart.
You hear the front door open and shut before Jake is calling out to you. You can hear his shoes padding along the hardwood floors, and you hate when another tear falls from you. You didn’t want to do this to Jake again. He never signed up for this, he wasn’t the broken one.
“Baby?”
“Yeah?”
Your voice cracks and you grit your teeth in frustration. You can feel Jake’s gaze through the mirror, though you really don’t feel like looking. Not when you feel like an utter failure. Your nose sniffles slightly and your hands against the counter tighten, turning your knuckles white.
Your eyes raise to look at Jake through the mirror, though before you can look at him you catch sight of your face. Tear stricken and the harsh gasp you were working so hard to hold in falls. Your chin immediately falls back into your chest as a sob breaks from your lips, and before you know it Jake’s grasping onto you. He’s dripping in sweat, but you could care less, and you fall into his chest as he rocks you. One hand traces up and down your spine, while the other weaves in your hair to hold you as you sob. Every breath is followed by a harsh sob, and you can’t stop the words as they release.
“I’m sorry. I’m so sorry”
“No, baby. No.”
Jake’s hold on you tightens, as he lays kiss after kiss across the top of your head. You pull away slowly and the hand in your hair comes to rest against your cheek. His thumb rubs small circles and a shuttered breath has you fighting against the way your lips beg to tremble.
“It was negative.”
You watch as a forced smile tugs at his lips and the small tear that traces down his cheek, has you reaching a hand up to brush it away. Your thumb moves over the stubble on his cheek and you give him a small smile, that surely looks like a grimace.
“I love you.”
His words break your heart because it was one thing that you always knew, no matter what Jake would always love you. Even when you feel like he shouldn’t. You gently push up on your toes and place a soft kiss on his lips. It’s short and sweet, but just what you both needed. You settle back on your feet, while Jake cradles your face in both hands and places a kiss on your brow.
“I love you,” Another small unsteady breath falls, “and even though you say you don’t need it. I am s–” Jake’s hand stills your trembling lip as another onset of tears falls. “I am so sorry, that I can’t … I can’t give you a baby.”
The words all but leave your chest before you crumble to the floor as Jake grasps onto your shaking form. His arms wrap around you to pull you into his chest, as sweet nothings are whispered into your hair and you once again, wait for the tears to dry.
“Daniel, wait for your mom to cross the road.”
You were on pick-up duty this week and while the older kids were wonderful at waiting inside the school grounds for their parents, your 20 little ones always seemed to slip passed the gate. You wave back to Mrs. Johnson as she takes hold of Daniel's hand. A sigh leaves your body as you glance around and find the school yard nearly empty. 8 of your kids rode the bus and that was the 10th pick-up of the day, now you just had to wait for the twin's foster mother.
The cool wind of the November day cresses your body and causes you to shiver. You might have lived in San Diego, but that didn’t stop the recent set of lower-than-75-degree days you had been having. A sudden grip on your pant leg is followed by what you could only describe as a mini human heater and as you glance down your eyes meet a pair of icy blue ones belonging to one-half of the twins.
“Hi Gray, where’s sissy?” Your hand gently strokes through his sandy blonde hair, to push back the stray pieces that fall over his forehead.
“Laine went back inside. She was cold and I told her that she couldn’t go whifout you, but she not listen.”
A small shutter racks through his chest, and you have to hold your tongue when you see his evident lack of a jacket. Their foster parents weren’t exactly your favorite people, and you had learned firsthand that they were only keeping the twins for the cheque at the end of each month.
It was at the beginning of the school year, not even the second week in and you noticed immediately that the twins were only rotating through 3 sets of clothes. You had gone to visit Mrs. Adam’s, the school's Head Teacher, and she had explained the situation.
It was their 12th foster home in the last 5 years, and while you found them to be perfect little angels, sometimes crazy, but still angels others did not. You had tried to reach out to their foster parents, but after a phone call that ended in you crying, you didn’t bother with them anymore. You had tried to leave it alone; it wasn’t your place to pry, and you knew that the kids were physically safe.
That answer came from Madelaine, she was a talkative five-year-old that honestly reminded you of Jake, and most days she would chat with you about different things she had learned, mostly in concern to the ocean and its sea life. Though one day, out of nowhere she had come to sit with you and Grayson on the playground bench during recess and told you, “He likes you cause you are nice and warm. Plus, you don’t push us like Mr. Meanie's face did.” It had stunned you for a moment, while Laine wasn’t affected by the words, little Gray had gone ridged at your side and clasped onto your hand. You had questioned her and found out that it was one of the other 12 foster homes. You didn’t push for specifics, not wanting to upset either of them, though Laine had told you that they only got in trouble when Gray did something wrong.
“He doesn’t mean to. Sometimes his eyeballs just go funny.”
Your gaze moved between the two of them, a questioning look on your face, before asking Gray to explain. That was how you had figured out he needed glasses, lucky the school provided testing, and not even two days after the test, you had him in a little pair of wire-framed glasses. You had him pick them out the day he had the testing, and without a second thought, you bought them.
You buying them things had become a regular occurrence. While the kids didn’t know it was you giving them clothes, Mrs. Adams made sure that they had whatever you gave her. Though now looking at Grayson you curse yourself for not thinking of “winter” coats before and mentally add it to the list to pick up when you and Jake are next at the mall.
“Come on my darling, let’s go find Miss Madelaine.”
Gray unwinds from your tan pant leg, before grasping your hand and tugging you forward. You glance behind you, up and down the road to check if their car is anywhere in sight, and find an empty street. You and Grayson make your way back into the school, stopping to ask Ms. Reynolds to call their foster parents, before heading down to your classroom.
“Did you know when a plane goes like this,” The hand not holding yours reached up and turns over, with his palm facing up. “it’s called in– inverturd”
You glance down at the little boy as he slightly adjusts the glasses on his face while waiting for your reply.
“Inverted, Gray. With an ‘e’”
You found out recently that while at home the kids either watched tv or played on a shared tablet, from an anonymous individual this last month. The twins weren’t allowed to go outside, and the pair barely had any toys, which left them to learn all sorts of things.
You learned early on in the school year that the Gray loved planes and watched an array of war movies. While Laine loved the ocean and watched the discovery channel quite religiously. The fact that they were watching movies and shows not explicitly meant for children had your gut twisting, but they had told you that the house didn’t have children’s channels. So, the next best option was military films and shark week, Laine’s favorite. That had come directly from Laine after she explained that they were learning at least unlike other kids, she was the bona fide sassy one of the pair.
Your classroom comes into view, the fall-decorated door stands ajar and Madelaine sits at your desk eating a pack of gummies. She has both hers and Gray's backpacks sitting on the floor, while she hums along to the music coming from the Alexa on your desk.
“Good job bringing Ms. CeeCee, Gray.” You glance down at the small boy still grasping your hand, his eyes remain on his sister though a big smile spreads across his face. Laine wiggles another bag of gummies at Gray, and he drops your hand, quick to grab the snack from his sister.
“Miss Laine, what do you think you’re doing in here?” You try to appear stern though a smile breaks across your face as she gives you a toothless grin. Her middle bottom tooth had fallen out just last week, and it made her smile all the more cute.
“I was cold, and Janice wasn’t coming anyway. She never does.” The small grimace she gives you makes your heartache.
“I know, but I’m here and we can do some crafts while waiting. Ms. Reynolds in the office is trying to call her.”
You glance up at the clock and see that it's nearing 5 pm. You glance back to the twins and find Grayson meticulously gluing things to his paper in a pattern. While Madelaine has used every color of feather you have, on a crown that now rests on her head. You didn’t mind staying after with the kids, what was frustrating was the lack of care that their “parent” was displaying.
“I’m just going to go see if Ms. Reynolds has heard anything, you two be good while I’m gone.”
Gray only nods in reply as his tongue peeks out between his lips in concentration. Laine gives you a cheeky smile, followed by a ‘mkay.’ Your shoes click against the tile floors, and you wave to Mrs. Rogers, the 5th-grade teacher, that’s shutting off lights for the night.
The office isn’t far from your room, and you find a frustrated Mrs. Adams that’s sitting and talking with Ms. Reynolds. They glance at you at the sound of you knocking on the door frame, and you already know the answer.
Jake had gotten off a little early, the team had run drills all morning and then Jake was stuck doing paperwork. He was more than happy when he finished that last of the paperwork at 4:30 and decided to leave early.
He slips in the truck, though before he can head out there’s a knock against his window. Jake glances over, before rolling down the window for Mav. Jake had been surprised when he got called back for the Dagger Squad and even more surprised to find out that his father-in-law was in charge. You had been married for just over a year when Jake got called back to Top Gun and you both couldn’t have been happier to come back.
“Have you talked to Y/n yet?”
The older man sighs while leaning up against the truck, he grabs the ball cap from his head while running his hand through his hair. He was clearly stressed about something, and it had to have occurred in the last 4 hours because Maverick had been perfectly fine this morning.
“No, I was just about to call her about dinner. What’s up?” Jake questions slightly confused.
“She must be ignoring Lanell. The woman’s called me twice today, wanting to know about the last round of treatment.”
A harsh sigh leaves Jake at the mention of your mother. Lanell was an interesting woman, to say the least, and your relationship was almost nonexistent. She had a habit of putting you down, and during the last treatment, she had said some unforgivable things about your lacking ability.
“Y/n blocked her and she’s lucky that’s all that happened.”
Mav’s brow furors slightly in question and leans farther into Jake’s truck.
“Lanell told Y/n that unless she got pregnant, she was a failure as a woman.” Jake’s head slightly shakes, still astounded by what your mother had said. “I don’t hit women, but by God, I wanted to lay her out.”
Mav slowly blinks at Jake, before dropping his head and pinching the bridge of his nose. A harsh laugh falls from the man, followed by a deep breath before he’s looking back at a less-than-happy Jake.
“Every time she calls me, I regret having a child with her. Why couldn’t I have just been smart from the beginning and had Y/n with Penny.”
Another laugh falls from Jake, as he shakes his head in agreement. With a nod, Mav is pushing off Jake’s door and tells him that he will handle your mother.
The drive home isn’t long, and the chill of the day is crisp and exactly the type of weather Jake loved. Living in California didn’t exactly mean that there was a fall and having days like these made Jake miss the cool weather.
Pulling into your drive, Jake notices your missing car and reaches for his phone to call you. Even when Jake got off early, if it was after 4:30 you were usually home before him. There had been times in the past, but they were few and far between.
The buzzing causes the whole table to shake and has both of the kids looking up from their current art projects. Their eyes bounce from the phone and back to one another. Madelaine is reaching for it before Grayson can stop her, as a teasing smile followed by a giggle erupts from her.
“You shouldn’t touch Ms. CeeCee’s phone, that’s not nice.”
“It’s not nice to ignore phone call’s either.”
Gray falls silent at the comment, before glaring at his sister and going back to his beads. Laine does a small dance in her chair in victory, before pushing the green answer button.
“Hello.”
“Ummm, Hi”
“Who’s this.”
Grayson glances back at his sister and then to the door, in hopes that you’ll show up and take the phone from Laine. He didn’t want to get in trouble and would be completely fine with letting his sister take the fall for this.
“I’m Jake, where is Mrs. Seresin?”
“I’m Madelaine. Ms. CeeCee went to the office, but you can talk to me.”
A laugh echoes through the phone and a wide grin breaks across Laine’s face. Gray looks up when he hears the quiet laugh and finds his sissy with her tongue out at him. His own tongue pokes out at her before he gets up to move closer to the phone. Laine notices Gray’s sudden interest and brings the phone down to set it on the tabletop. The twins silently look at the phone’s call screen before Gray finds the speaker button and Jake’s voice echoes through the room.
“Mr. Jake, my bubba is here too. Gray, say hi.” She nudges at the boy’s shoulder, who only looks at her before shaking his head. “It’s not nice to ignore people Gray. How would you feel if Mr. Jake ignored us?”
A smile breaks across Jake’s face at the young girl, though makes sure he doesn’t laugh and waits for Grayson to speak.
“Hi.” His voice is small and it’s only a little peep from him, but Jake’s heart aches at the sound of the pair together.
Before Jake can say anything else, he hears a high-pitched squeal followed by your laughter and the shuffle of the phone.
“Darlin?”
His voice is still on loudspeaker, the echo gives it away and his question is followed by two separate voices saying ‘yes?’ One is clearly your voice, while the other is undeniably the cheeky little spitfire that had been holding a full conversation with him. A full laugh falls from Jake and he can’t help but smile at how adorable both kids were, even if Grayson didn’t talk much. Jake just knew the pair of them were adorable, trouble, but adorable.
“Not the little darlin’, Ms. CeeCee Darlin’.”
You can hear the giggling of the pair before you even reach the door of your classroom, though you hadn’t expected to hear Jake’s voice ringing through the classroom. You walk in trying to be as quiet as possible, not wanting to interrupt the twins. Their art projects sit abandoned, while Laine sits up on her knees in a chair, leaning over your phone with the biggest smile on her face. Gray stands at her side, leaning against the table but looking between the phone and Laine before a small ‘hi’ is mumbled from his lips.
They are completely consumed with the conversation with Jake, which gives you the perfect distraction, so you can sneak up on them. You slowly walk across the room, making sure to avoid anything that would make noise. As you get next to them you almost laugh at how consumed they are, though you're quick to reach out and tickle them both on their sides. Gray only jumps as a small squeak is released, while Laine jumps full-on and releases a scream. Both kids spin around, their own hands coming out to tickle at you now and making you laugh.
Jake’s laugh is followed by him calling for you, though you weren’t prepared for Madelaine to answer as well. Gray silently laughs at your hip, while Laine wears a shameless smile that only grows when you shake your head. Your hand tracks through her long dirty blonde hair, it was a few shades darker than Grayson’s, though their eyes were the exact same shade of blue. You take the phone from the table and gently tell the kids to begin putting their crafts away, while you talk with Mr. Jake.
“Hi, honey.”
“Hey, darlin’. You got the phone back from the twin terrors?”
His voice is teasing, and you can’t help the smile that crosses your lips as you watch them clean up. You listen to Jake and hum in answer to his question about dinner, though your main focus stays on the twins as they work in tandem perfectly together. You agree to pick up something on the way home, and that you shouldn’t be too late.
“Darlin’ did you hear me?”
The words pull your attention back to the phone call that you were still on.
“I’m sorry honey, I was just watching the twins clean up and get ready to go.” Your voice is soft and holds a longing that makes your and Jake’s hearts ache.
“They stayed late today, is everything okay?”
Jake knew bits about their story, though you tried hard not to bring your work home with you. The both of you already had so much going on that consumed your thoughts daily, that worrying about the twins more than you already did, would lead to disaster.
“Yeah, I will explain when I get home. I’m going to get them ready to go though, I love you.”
“I love you, darlin’. Drive safe, I’ll see you soon.”
You take a deep breath as you hang up, clearing your mind of the silent longing that the wish the twins were yours. That they were going home with you to Jake, in a warm loving home that always put them first. Though the thought only creates room for heartbreak and so you push it to the back of your mind as you get ready to leave.
You watch as Janice gets the twins in the car, though she doesn’t bother with helping them buckle, and a deep anger blooms in your chest. Though it’s eased as you see both kids get the latches in place, and a smile crosses your face when they wave to you with small smiles.
Your smile stays in place until the car disappears down the street, then it falls, and you wrap your arms around yourself as you make your way to your car. The cool air plays no part in how your heart clenches and the small squeeze you give yourself before getting in the car to head home.
The drive home was fast, given that it was late enough that the rush had already passed. The stop at the Italian place was even quicker and luckily easy, given that Jake had called your order in and you just had to pick it up. Your hip pushes against the car door causing it to close, as you hold the takeout in one hand and your school bag in the other.
A small smile graces your lips as you see the front door open, and Jake already has his hand out to take part in your load. He is quick to grab the steaming Italian food, but you reach up and pull him into a sweet kiss before he can pull away. The food and school bag sit in your hands completely forgotten, as Jake places a kiss on the top of your head as you rest against his chest.
He gives your hip a tiny squeeze before he pulls away to lead you into the kitchen. You drop your bag in the hall and kick off your shoes before following Jake. He’s already got the table set and you place a kiss on his cheek in thanks, as he places the different containers from the Italian place out.
The slow tune of Bing Crosby floats through the kitchen and you smile as Jake slowly hums along to the track. You skirt around each other, and after five years of marriage, you know each other like the back of your hand and work flawlessly together. A laugh falls from your lips as Jake’s arms wrap around your waist and turn you in his arms to dance along to the old vinyl.
“How’s my best girl doing?”
The words are spoken against your hair, and you hum as he spins you out, before bringing you back in his arms.
“I’m good.” Your words ring out though there’s a hitch in your words that has Jake waiting for you to continue while he sways you. “I just don’t understand. They don’t care about them; how can you just forget about picking up your children.” A small sniffle comes from you that has Jake pulling you back, and as his hand settles on your cheek your lips twist in annoyance. “She didn’t even check to make sure they were buckled.”
Tears gather in your eyes as Jake’s lips brush against your brow, and you can’t stop them as they start falling. His hand tracks across your face and sweeps the hair from your eyes to tuck it gently behind your ear. He watches you in silence, with a frown marring his face at the words.
Jake knew how much having a child meant to you, it meant just as much to him, but seeing you so heartbroken over it was almost worse than the actual fact. You had mentioned the twins to Jake before, though you never went fully in-depth. Even without you telling him every small detail concerning their life, Jake knew how much they meant to you.
Hell, Jake knew that you had started buying them clothes, after finding a bag marked ‘twins’ in your car. After that, he may or may not, have gone out and got them a few things. Including the tablet that they so dearly loved. Jake had given the pile of items to Mrs. Adams one day and asked her not to tell you. The elderly woman only smiled at him and gave him a wink, before taking the items. Jake didn’t even know the children and yet he felt a connection with them. Having the call today only confirmed that they were absolutely perfect, hell raisers, but perfect.
You shuffle in Jake's hold and brush the stray tears from your face, while you lean back against the counter. You pull Jake with you and wrap your arms around his waist easily, silently toying with the band of his sweatpants.
“How is it fair that they get to have children and they don’t even care. Meanwhile, we try and try, and it never happens.” Another broken sob, “I would love them so much. I do love them so much, but they aren’t ours and they’re never going to be ours.”
The final words are no more than a whisper from your lips, but Jake hears them perfectly. The food on the table is easily forgotten as Jake pulls your whimpering form into his hold, in the only way that he knows how to comfort you. It wasn’t a problem that Jake could just fix and the harsh truth, that only time would tell, was not something he would ever get used to.

This is for all the younger gen Z women, particularly those of you within the ages of 17 to roughly 23. This is written from an American perspective, things might be a little different depending on where you're from.
I graduated high school with the unconscious assumption that certain systems will take care of me. The medical system would educate me on proper nutrition and health issues was probably my largest underlying assumption, but really I just had trust in institutions generally.
This isn't true. You are responsible for learning. As an example, I have been vegetarian since age 14. Nobody talked to me about proper nutrition, they just told me I needed to eat more protein.
I lived a decade of my life having shortness of breath, sleeping issues, clumsiness, cold hands and feet, having brain fog, extreme fatigue, heightened anxiety, etc. My period was extremely light and brown, it'd last for about 2 or so days. I'd go and talk about these problems, and telling doctors that I was vegetarian was one of the first things that came out of my mouth just with any visit because I knew at least that piece was important to communicate.
There was really no action taken over the span of about 10 years. I was told the period thing was normal, that changes for women. A sleep specialist let me know that feeling exhausted was also normal. The brain fog was probably due to anxiety. Here, try allergy medication (tbh that did help for other reasons). Then one day I just asked them to check my vitamin and mineral levels. Prior to this I didn't think you can make requests to doctors, I thought you showed up and they performed tests on what they recommended. With some reluctance from my primary care physician and some compromise because she said my insurance wouldn't cover testing things like B12 levels (I later found out from a nurse that, they would, she would have just needed to fill out extra paperwork), she did some tests.
I found out both my iron and D3 levels were low. What else could be?
I later learned pretty much all the vitamins common to be low for vegetarians were low. D3, magnesium, vitamin Bs, iron, and healthy fats. Bought some liquid vitamins (because the body only absorbs 10% of the pill supplements), began eating an avocado a day, my period became normal for the first time in nine years, and I am able to function.
Another example of how human systems won't educate you: I don't have feeling in some of my toes due to wearing incorrect sized footwear for years resulting in permanent nerve damage. I'm size 11.5 in women's, and I was relying on someone to tell me how proper footwear worked, because surely the guy in the minimum wage position working the footwear section would know.
Don't trust human systems to guide you through how certain things work. Seek specific specialists and experts when you can, and inform yourself on your own. Don't blindly trust search engines like Google, it's not like how it used to be when I was growing up and many millennial adults will tell you to "just google things" because we're used to finding actual substantive answers when we do. However, now, usually whoever pays is who makes the first page or two of search engines, it has nothing to do with what information is "most correct". Don't be afraid to request certain tests be done by doctors or certain referrals made to different specialists.
Edit: And also, I've found general practitioners are terrible when you walk in and tell them about several different symptoms at one time. They're more used to treating one symptom at a time, and they treat the symptom not the root cause. If you go in with a runny nose, general practitioners are going to throw medications at you to try and treat the runny nose, not look deeper into what's causing the runny nose. It's equivalent to if you're in a boat and it's sinking, they're bailing out water without actually fixing the hole or trying to figure out where it is, with the exception of emergency situations and even then it depends.

How would Shikamaru and his alpha react to finding out he’s pregnant again? Like they planned on one or two and already have three and now pregnant with a fourth because their birth control keeps failing. Especially if people think Shikamaru is doing it on purpose because of his obsession.
I have a feeling that this isn't what you had in mind lol, but here we are XD
cw: abortion
"It's positive?" you asked as Shikamaru came out of the bathroom, looking exhausted.
"Yep," he said, collapsing down on the sofa next to you with his eyes closed. You heard the muffled sounds of some sort of children's toy activating as he sat on it, but you both ignored it.
"Again?"
"Yep."
"Damn," you let out a breath and sank back into the couch until you were fully reclining just like your mate.
You both sat in silence for a while as the information sank in. You already had three children, an eight-year-old daughter, and two sons, five and three respectively. Your eldest was the only one you had planned.
"What are we going to do?" you asked finally. "We can afford it money wise, but we're spread thin as it is, another baby would-"
"Stop talking," Shikamaru said firmly, stopping you in your tracks. He opened his eyes and heaved himself upright. "If you speak about it out loud, my obsession instinct might...it might..."
"It might trigger and get weird like last time," you finished in sudden realisation, remembering the way Shikamaru had switched over night from booking an abortion to being distraught at the thought and refusing to follow through. "It hasn't triggered yet?"
"No," Shikamaru said calmly. "So, I'm going to fetch a clan medic right now, just for a 'routine health check', of course. Nothing else."
He was planning to trick himself into denial long enough to have an abortion. You shouldn't be so surprised by how intelligent your mate was after all these years, but you still found yourself impressed by his quick thinking.
"Right," you agreed. "Do you need me to come with?"
"No, it's just a routine health check, there's no need," he said, calmly getting up from the sofa and walking to the door. You followed him out and watched him slip on his shoes.
Everything was moving quickly, but you felt like the quickly forming burden had just been lifted from your shoulders. You simply didn't have the time and energy to give to another pup, it wouldn't be fair on anyone.
"And after my health check," Shikamaru continued, opening the door. "I am booking an appointment to have all my problematic organs removed."
That made a lot of sense. You had already been sterilised once but the surgery had reversed itself, something you only realised when Shikamaru already had the positive test in his hand. If he simply didn't have the necessary requirements for a baby, there would be no more babies. And maybe, just maybe, you'd finally have a form of birth control that actually worked.
"I'll watch the pups, and I'll be here when you get back," you promised, trying to reassure him as best as you could without mentioning anything specific.
Shikamaru nodded, took one final deep breath, and then stepped outside, shutting the door gently to avoid waking the two youngest pups up from their naps.
You stood for a moment, processing everything that had just happened, before a wave of determination washed over you. Your mate was going through something difficult that he had to do alone, so you would do everything in your power to make sure he came home to a clean house, delicious dinner, hot bath, and a massage.
You rolled up your sleeves, energised and ready to make the most of the remaining 20 minutes of nap time. It was time to clean like you'd never cleaned before.

NEW POST because
Yeah things are actually just. Worse than I made them seem in this truthfully. In 2020 I developed level T4 cysts in my thyroid as a result of the lithium I take for bipolar, they need to be monitored and biopsied every year to track for cancer and I haven't had that done since Feb 2021. I need to have at least my ultrasound done and it's going to be at least $600. I also need to get testing and potentially surgery for carpal tunnel, need to save up for new contacts (I've had corneal transplants and cannot wear glasses or regular contacts, these puppies are $700/each), it's all so much y'all like I just need reblogs, this will find the people it needs to. This is kind of a combination of "this is what I do and you can utilize my services at no cost!" and "this is my only revenue of income right now because I am injured and can no longer work in the kitchen I was working in (which is crushing to me because I loved it so much) & the way that they fired me was technically legal so making bills and rent happen is now going to be actually impossible and I need help!"
I'm offering pay-what-you-can/free job and career services! I'm a recruiter who has placed people in pretty much every position under the sun, from engineering, finance, medical and scientific research, food and bev, admin, social services, you name it. My specialty is in DEI and right now my ethos is to get as much money into the pockets of trans people, people of color, and anyone with a marginalized identity as fast as humanly possible. Right now I'm offering personalized job finding, resume review, and LinkedIn reviews, and I'll be offering more in the future - but if you have a specific need that you think I might be able to help with, feel free to reach out to me. I'm still trying to figure out my privacy around this because I don't really want to connect my professional profiles/literal legal name yet so if things look like they're in progress, that's the reason.
Also I messed up and changed my paypal @ so this is the correct one please don't reblog the other post thank uuuu

Star-Crossed
Chapter 11: Szív
Donquixote Rosinante x gn!reader word count: 3.2k next
Your father's estate was right outside of town. He preferred to be away from the city, enjoying the peaceful country life. You also enjoyed the countryside - having grown up there and all, but with being on call constantly, you needed to live close to the hospital. Not ideal, but necessary.
All different kinds of scenarios began to run through your mind. What could your father possibly want right now? Did he hear about last night? You couldn't imagine why he would have. As far as you knew, he didn't keep tabs on you. He knew you could hold your own. That impending doom feeling was growing stronger as you feared your father's estate. Pops’ warning playing in your mind again. Maybe he was on to something. Maybe he was trying to tell you something.
You took a deep breath. Maybe you were just overthinking things like you always did. Marco was right in that aspect. You always blew things out of proportion because your brain didn't know how to just stop.
Another thought popped into your head; what if he’s fallen ill? Maybe he’s called you to his estate to say his goodbyes or ask you to take care of him. You probably would, he is your father after all and you loved him. You’d want his last days to be as comfortable as possible.
What the hell were you even thinking?
Your father still had plenty of years on him. You were sure he was going to be just fine - he was fairly healthy for his age. He came to your hospital about twice a year for a check up anyway and he always did just fine. He always listened to your medical advice, so he was in picture perfect health.
You needed to just calm down. One deep breath later, your mind relaxed a little. You need to just take things as they come. You were probably worrying about nothing. Perhaps he just forgot to mention something to you. The two of you couldn’t exactly talk on the phone as lines were never safe. It was safer for you to just meet him somewhere and talk in person.
It wasn’t long before you pulled up to his large estate. It was a large, gated mansion with many rooms. Acres of well maintained land, a guest house, a pool, just about everything you’d imagine for your typical mafia family. Or as the public knew him, a politician. Besides, this place had been in your family for generations at this point. It was all old money.
You entered through the gates, heading down the long driveway, parking in the rounded end by the doors. You stepped out of the car, heading up the steps. The two positioned at the doorway stopped you. “State your name and business you have.”
You looked at them with an expression that said you couldn’t be bothered right now. “C’mon, Daniel, you know who I am. Stop playing around.” You tried to walk past him but he stuck out his arm. “State your name and business you have.” He said again, more firm this time. You just stared at him in disbelief. What the hell was he on right now?
You looked at the other man with him. “You’re really just gonna let him treat me like this, Gabriel?”
The man didn’t even look at you, just kept looking forward in his position. This wasn’t like them at all. They usually greeted you with smiles and asked how things went. You grew up with these men, they were pretty much like your uncles. They helped raise you. Now they were acting all cold and distant. Once more Pops’ warning sat in the back of your mind. You knew you were going to need to go and get some answers.
“What the fuck is going on?” You glared at both of them. “Just let me see papi.”
“Name and business.”
“I swear to fuck, I will kick your ass.” You glared at Daniel who stared right back at you. Whatever was going on, you weren’t a fan of it. You don’t know why they were testing you right now because they both knew damn well you could take them both on with no sweat.
“I’m going to have to ask you to-” You grabbed Daniel’s arm, turning around and using your entire body to throw the man over your shoulder. Gabriel moved to grab you, only to miss as you sidestepped, kicking him in the back. Both men tumbled down the stairs and you threw open the door and marched inside. You didn’t fucking have time for this. You were already irritated because you were in the middle of a very important discussion and now they were testing your patience.
What in the everliving fuck was that about?
You walked down the long hallway, towards your father’s study. You were just assuming that’s where he was. He spent most of his time there anyway. You grabbed the handle of the double doors, flinging them open. Your father was at his desk that faced the door, a large window displaying his vast landscape behind it. There was also a girl who looked to be about seventeen. Maybe eighteen.
“What the hell is wrong with Gabe and Danny?”
Your father looked up, his eyes widened in surprise. He sighed, pinching the bridge of his nose. “I’m assuming you took them out?”
“Papi, why the hell would I kill them? I just threw ‘em around.” You shrugged, folding your arms as the doors closed behind you. “Now, what did you need to see me for?”
Your father looked at you for a long moment. Immediately, you felt uneasy. There was something about the look in his eye. It was cold, calculated. Not at all like the warmness in which he usually looked at you. The girl next to him was also looking at you in a way you didn’t really care for - like she was up to no good. There was a smug look on her face and you wanted to punch her. She also just had one of those faces that your fists ached to connect with.
Again, Pops’ words rang in your head - his ominous warning to be careful.
“Sorry, I was just thinking how to start this conversation,” your father said, leaning back in his chair as he looked at you. He shook his head. “Ripping off the bandaid is probably the best way. You’ve always preferred things like that.” You nodded. He wasn’t wrong. You liked to get to the point, you didn’t like pussyfooting around the subject.
“Y/n,” he said and immediately you knew something bad was about to happen. Your father never called you by your name, not even when you were being scolded. He has never really called you by your name, it was always some nickname in his native tongue. Just as you never really called him ‘dad’ in english. It honestly made you feel like crawling out of your skin - it felt wrong.
“This is your sister, Trinity.” He gestured to the girl next to him, who offered a small wave with a smug smile. Immediately, your eyes widened and you froze. Sister? Since fucking when? When the hell did your father meet someone? Or did he just take someone in? You had no idea.
“Sister? Papi, when did you ever have another kid?” You folded your arms, still trying to process things. Why the hell would he have another kid without telling you? Why would he have another kid in general? Did he have another wife after your mother?
Your father stood up, sighing. “When you started going off to college and started pulling away, I decided to set up a plan b. I needed another child to take over the family just in case you ended up completely cutting yourself off.” He walked over to the window looking out at the landscape.
“I found a woman and paid her to carry my child, giving her to me when she was born. She’s been here the whole time, but I never let you meet her. I knew you wouldn’t approve of me having another child in this life. Or, at least you’d tried to take them with you. I know how much you hate kids being involved in all this. I wasn’t going to let you take away my plan b.”
You were stunned. He had a child just because you didn’t want to take over the business? He was talking about her like she was an object, not his child. Was she okay with all of this? She looked content with his decision. You still couldn’t believe he kept all this from you.
“When you made the decision to part ways, I really began to train Trinity. Sure, she’s not naturally gifted for this lifestyle like you were, but with time and practice, I know she’ll do great.” He turned to look at you. The way he looked at you sent shivers down your spine. This was not the man you knew.
“I no longer need you anymore. You wanted to be cut off, you’re being cut off. You’re no longer a part of this family. You already took that bastard’s last name. You’re no longer any child of mine. You are of no use to me.” He looked at you with utter disgust and it hurt more than any bullet wound ever had. “All that time - wasted. I showed you love and affection and what did it get me? Nothing but an ungrateful child. How am I to secure my legacy if I don’t have a child?” He shook his head.
You were speechless. Tears stung your eyes and you felt like your entire world was falling apart. He was just using you? “But…what about mamma?”
“What about her? I married her specifically to sire me a child to raise and train. Lot good it did me.” He shook his head, clicking his tongue. “She was weak. She constantly talked of how she didn’t want you in this life, how she just wanted you to grow up however you wanted, but your only purpose was to take over the family. Nothing else.”
Every sentence was a wound in your heart. You felt sick.
“You inherited your mother’s weak heart, which is a shame considering you inherited my skills. You were perfect for this lifestyle. You were cold, heartless, good at everything. You were a natural. My golden child. You were going to do so well. Then, you just decided to be a doctor and ‘help people instead’. You made a complete 180 and I’m still not sure what happened to make you do that.” His tone mocked you at the end.
The world began to spin around you. He never loved you or your mother? He only saw you as tools for his grand scheme of things. “Why…? Why call me here to tell me that? You could’ve never told me any of this.” Hearing him talk about your mother in such a way…you knew he loved her. You saw the love they shared when you were younger. You had always wanted the same kind of unconditional love. Was…it also all a lie?
He looked at you with disdain, rolling his eyes. “I’m taking your hospital.”
Your blood ran ice cold. “What?” Your father raised his eyebrows. “You heard me. I’m taking your hospital.” He walked over to you and you couldn’t move, frozen from the moment he started dropping verbal bombs on you.
“The original plan was to let you do your thing, then have you join again. I thought this whole neutral thing was a phase. Your hospital has quite the reputation. It’s in a perfect place, it’s already got the underground kind of vibe we need. It’s perfect for what I need.” He stopped in front of you, looking down at you with a sly grin.
“You really thought I’d just let you leave the family without something in return?”
“I won’t let you take the hospital,” you said softly, slowly. Your father barked out a laugh, making you flinch as his voice bounced off the walls of the large room. “You don’t have a choice. Besides, Doflamingo and Sir Crocodile have already taken it over.”
Your stomach sank to your feet. “What?” Your voice was barely above a whisper. “Since when-?”
“When do I work with them? Since we realized how much more we can control together.” He chuckled, shaking his head. Your father never came off as the power hungry type, what was going on? “Doflamingo noticed his little brother had come back and had taken a liking to my child. We thought you two were going to try and pull one over on us. Take us down.”
“That’s not-”
“Oh, I know.” A dark chuckle came from him. “Even if I wasn’t able to get you to take over the business, you were still loyal to me. I know you wouldn’t have betrayed me in such a manner, no matter what that Donquixote boy said. I suppose at least I had that if nothing else.” He shook his head, putting his hands on his hips.
“We decided to work together to take over your hospital, make it ours. You crafted the perfect hospital for me. A place where law enforcement turns a blind eye. It will be our neutral ground. So, thanks for that. I suppose you did provide some use in the end. It’ll be easier to cover certain things up with a hospital under our reign.”
A sly grin spread across his face. “I suppose the olive branch I extended all those years ago did work out in the end. Just took a little time.”
You backed away. You needed to get back to your hospital. You needed to keep people safe.
“Oh, they’re already there, y/n. As we speak, Doflamingo and Crocodile are working on…new management. Your little buddy Marco will probably need a new job. Since you crafted this perfect oasis for us, I decided to spare all your little employees. They will all be let go, however. They are loyal to you, I’m sure. Don’t trust ‘em.” He paused, looking at you from the corner of his eye. “I wonder how the little reunion between Doflamingo and Rosinante will go?”
Once again, you felt your stomach drop. You stumbled backwards, vision blurring with tears. Everything you had worked so hard to achieve, gone in an instant. How did this man that showered you in love and affection all your life do this to you? How did you not see it even once?
“I’m sure you can find another job. You have an outstanding resume. Or, you know, you can keep your job. All your friends can keep theirs. You would just have to work for me. Rejoin the family.”
You stared at your father with bewilderment and disbelief. Nothing felt real and everything hurt. Everything you knew had all been a lie - a part of your father’s plan. Did Pops know about this? Is that why he gave you that warning? Is this what their falling out was about? You had so many questions, but your head started to hurt the more you thought about it.
“You can think about it. Not long. Probably from here until you get to the hospital to sign it over. Doflamingo has already gathered up all your little cronies that know about the true part of the hospital. I think he mentioned that he was surprised to see his little brother there too. I’m sure that reunion is going swimmingly.”
Your eyes widened and fear set in. Innocent people were being thrown into all this. Marco was never a part of this life. Corazon had removed himself from it. They weren’t a part of this - so why bother them! This was all your fault. You were stupid and naive to think you could leave with no strings attached.
You just looked at your father - no. He was no longer your father. The only father you had now was Pops. You didn’t know the man before you. This man was a stranger to you.
You were ripped out of your thoughts as his phone rang. He pulled it out of his front pocket, looking at the screen. “Speak of the devil,” he said. He answered it, putting it on speaker. “Go for Anthony.”
“Are you almost done? Are they on their way? Everyone is getting so squirmy. Hey - stop moving! I will shoot you.”
“Doflamingo, don’t do that or we lose our leverage.”
All the air left your lungs. You couldn’t breathe. Leverage? Who all did they have? All just to get you to sign over the hospital?
“They’re with me now. You’re on speaker. I think they were just about to head your way.”
“Oh, are they there? Well, y/n, can you hurry the hell up? I don’t have all damn day!”
“Y/n!” Corazon was there? Fucking, dammit all. They must’ve shown up just as you left. You had been hoping he left, but that bastard did mention Doflamingo seeing him. “Don’t do it! It’s a t-”
There was a gunshot and multiple cries. “Corazon!” You heard the boys all crying for him and you couldn’t move. The world around you went still.
“You were already on thin fucking ice for leaving and lying, you should’ve known better.” He clicked his tongue. “You better hurry up or he’ll bleed out.” With that, Doflamingo hung up.
Your entire body went numb and everything went still. You heard the man before you talking, but you couldn’t hear him. Corazon had been shot by his own brother. At this point, you wouldn’t be surprised if your bastard of a father would do the same. What was up with these men and being unable to just…have loyalty to their own family?
No, no. Now wasn’t the time to start freaking out. You needed a plan. The first thing you needed to do was get to Corazon. Then you could deal with everything else. Unfortunately for everyone else, you were good at working under pressure.
You turned on your heel, feeling rage slowly building up in your chest. You knew you couldn’t let it consume you. You needed to keep a clear head if you were going to do this successfully without anyone getting hurt.
You reeled your arm back, turning back around, and punching your dad square in the jaw, sending him reeling back. Trinity pulled out a gun, pointing at you and you glared at her. “Do it, coward.” Then she did, but her aim was off, as you could see in the first place. The bullet flew right past your head but it did graze your cheek. You didn’t care, the fear in her eyes was enough for you. It was clear she saw the difference between you and her now.
You turned on your heel once more, running down the hallways. You could already hear multiple footsteps heading down the hallway. You burst through the doors and the two standing guard tried to tackle you, but you were too agile and quick. You easily dodged them. “Getting old!” you shouted, hopping in your car and taking off. If they had a lick of smarts, they would’ve sabotaged your car somehow, but they didn’t.
You peeled off, speeding back to your hospital. It was a race against time.

The Doctor is In
-= Chapter One (Rough Draft)=-
“Urk! Can’t breathe!” Jaune’s muffled voice radiated from inside the coils of Doctor Peach’s tentacles. The Octo-woman had grabbed him in a crushing embrace as soon as he stepped off the Bullhead.
“My precious student! I’m so happy you came!” Peachalmost sang as she pulled the slowly suffocating young man to her rather impressive chest. “You can’t believe how relieved I am that you agreed to take this position!”
“You’re welcome?” Jaune choked out, “Too tight.”
“Doctor Peach I would like to REMIND you that molesting your peers… or anyone for that matter is very much frowned upon!” Came the very authoritarian voice of Deputy Headmistress Glynda Goodwitch. The Aracne crossed both sets of her arms over her generous bosom. “So kindly release Doctor Arc from your clutches.”
“I’m just giving my FAVOURITE student a proper and warm welcome to Beacon, Glyn.”
“Can’t… can’t… can’t…” Jaune groaned in a very weak and pained voice.
“Be that as it may… it does appear that the young Doctor is about to pass out.” Glynda pointed out.
“Oh dear!” Doctor Peach gently set Jaune’s feet on the ground and loosed her grasp, keeping one tentacle about his waist to make sure he didn’t collapse. “Are you okay Jaune?”
“F… fine… just a little dizzy.” Jaune answered between breaths, barely able to keep from weaving slightly.
“I would like to… OFFICIALLY welcome you to Beacon Doctor Arc, and once you are.. capable I will escort you to your office and then to your accommodations.”
“Thank you, Headmistress.” Jaune responded.
“I am the Deputy Headmistress.” Glynda corrected him. “Ozpin is still the Headmaster of Beacon Academy. But you may just address me as Professor Goodwitch.”
“My apologies.”
“Think nothing of it. Considering he had nothing to do with your recruitment, it is a simple mistake.”
“Still…”
“Doctor Arc…”
“Call me Jaune. He interrupted Glynda.
“As you wish. Jaune. Do you feel up to a short walk?”
“If you don’t I’m more than happy to carry you!” Peach interjected, a slightly lecherous grin crossing her demure features.
“No, Thank you Doctor Peach, but I can walk.” Jaune replied, not noticing the pout that crossed Peach’s features.
/==/
The trip to his office took him through the main halls of Beacon, and he was struck by the grandness of everything. When he was at Vale University studying for his degree, he thought those halls and buildings were so inspiring, but now he knew he had been wrong. Beacon far outclassed those hallows halls in pure majesty.
“I must say Dr Arc,” Glynda spoke up, breaking the comfortable silence the trio had been walking under.
“Please call me Jaune.”
“Yes, sorry.” Glynda cleared her throat before continuing, “As I was saying, you are rather young to have graduated from medical school, are you not?”
“Well…”
“Jaune is a prodigy, and I have never seen a mind so attuned to understanding and diagnosing issues.” Peach interrupted, “That’s why I fast tracked him. I saw his talent, and couldn’t let that waste away slogging through four years of tedium…”
“Fast tracked him?” Glynda was quite astonished at the admission of her peer, and friend. “What did you do?”
“I tested my darling student, and once I saw his resolve and intelligence, I just had to help him!”
“Peach what did you do?” Glynd asked, her eyes narrowing on the Octo-Woman and her twin pains of arms crossing over her chest. “It better not have been unethical or illegal!”
“Doctor Peach became my mentor, and staunchest supporter, so when I declared my interest in focusing on general practice medicine for monsters, she stepped in.” Jaune offered.
“How did she…”
“Oh Glyn, I did not do anything like you are thinking. I just arranged for a series of tests, which he passed, and when he had passed those tests I was able to sponsor his enrollment into the medical program.”
“With Doctor Peach’s assistance and mentorship I finished my undergraduate degree in two years.”
“That is rather… Impressive.” Glynda commented. “But you still should be a little older. I mean the medical program is four years, plus three years of residency…”
“I lent a helping hand with that as well.” Peach giggled as she snuck a couple of her tentacles behind Jaune, before snagging him and pulling him in close. “I had peers who were running small clinics, so I arranged for Jaune to spend three days a week working there and had it credited as hours against his residency requirements.”
“So before you left Vale University and Vale Memorial Hospital, you abused your tenure.” Glynda’s eyes narrowed as she regarded her friend and peer, who was currently wrapping a couple more tentacles about Jaune’s waist while also fussing with his hair. “Tell me I’m wrong.”
“Nope.” Peach replied, popping the ‘P’, “That’s totally what I did!”
“I can’t believe you would do something so audacious! Think of what it could have done to your career! Your reputation!” Glynda closed her eyes and raised one of her hands up to pinch the bridge of her nose. “That does explain why you suddenly called me up and inquired about a position here at Beacon.
“I knew you’d understand!” Peach chirped, as she continued to ruffle Jaune’s hair and hold him tight.
“Understand?”
“Can’t breathe…” Jaune finally wheezed out, startling both women and causing Pecah to reflexively relax her grip.
“Jaune!” Both women called out as the young doctor stumbled away from Doctor Peach and fell to his knees, his chest heaving in an attempt to replace all the oxygen he had been denied, again.
“I’m okay.” Jaune replied weakly as both Glynda and Peach moved to assist him in standing back up. “I guess the trip took a little more out of me than I thought.”
“Right.” Glynda deadpanned as she looked from Jaune’s face to the blushing one of Peach. “Maybe we can save the tour for later?”
“I would appreciate that.” Jaune replied.
/==/
Jaune was in the process of taking an inventory of his supplies, with the help of a set of fairies Doctor Peach had vouched for. Kai and Mai flitted about the office moving things back and forth as Jaune asked for them. Jaune wasn’t sure how the pair were related, as Kai had dragonfly wings while Mai had butterfly wings… which of course also told Jaune something that most people overlooked when interacting with Fae-folk.
While Mai’s entire diet revolved around nectar and honey, as most people believed was the case for all fairies, Kai’s was a little more vicious, with her being a carnivore. With lunch quickly approaching Jaune put his tablet down and yawned, then he smiled. It had been a few days now that the pair had been working with Jaune, so he thought it was the perfect time to introduce them to a special addition to the office’s furniture.
As the surprisingly strong four inch tall women set about putting away the last few bottles that Jaune had been checking, Jaune opened his medical bag, and pulled out a few items. It had cost him a good chunk of lien, but he felt the purchase was worth it. As the pair of fairies alighted upon the top of his desk, Jaune set the items down before them. A set of fairy sized handmade wooden chairs with a matching table.
“It’s a thank you for all your help.” Jaune commented as the pair looked up at him. “I thought you guys might like having a spot of your own to sit, eat and relax.”
Mai and Kai turned and looked at each other, and after a silent conversation they turned their attention back to Jaune. Before he could react the pair hopped into the air, rose into the air and then each planted a kiss to his cheek, which instantly caused Jaune to turn beet red. The musical almost bell-like sounds of Mai and Kai’s laughter caused Jaune to blush even further.
“Very funny.” Jaune chuckled as he tried to recover from his embarrassment, while the pair of fairies set about moving their gifts into a better spot on his desk.
A knock at his door drew his attention from the still laughing fairies. Pivoting in his chair, he turned to face the door.
“Professor Goodwitch, what brings you down to see me?”
“I came to see if you are settling in okay, as well as checking to see if you require any additional supplies or materials.”
“No, I’m all stocked up, and good to go.”
“Excellent.”
“Was that all?”
“No, I also came to remind you that the initiates will start arriving in two days, with the bulk getting here in three days time.”
“Thank you for reminding me.” Jaune responded. “So I am only focusing on the first year students, correct?”
“For the most part, yes. Your main priority is the treatment, care and wellbeing of all the first years. Though in the case of a potential school wide emergency you will be called on to provide assistance.”
“Understandable, though I do have one question.”
“Yes, what is it, Jaune?”
“When will I be getting access to their medical records?” Jaune asked as he picked up his tablet and turned it to show Glynda that he had no access to Beacon’s medical database. “I really would like to start reviewing files, as I should conduct examinations right after initiation is over.”
Glynda raised an eyebrow “I see. I wasn’t aware that you didn’t have access. It should have been one of the first things arranged for you.”
“Sometimes things get overlooked, and considering what is about to happen here, it’s understandable.”
“Understandable or not. It should not have happened.” Glynda remarked. “I will check into this matter for you and get it resolved.”
“Thank you.”
“Is there anything else?” Glynda asked.
“Not that I can think of.” Jaune replied.
“Very well then. I bid you good day Doctor Arc.”
“You have a good day as well Professor Goodwitch.”
/==/
Two days later Jaune was standing next to Professor Goodwitch watching the arrival of air-ship after air-ship of Beacon hopefuls. Perched on his shoulders were Mai and Kai. Jaune wasn’t sure when or how it happened but apparently he was now their ‘prized possession’, or at least that was what they told him in their musical language, the day they moved their rather exquisite doll house into his quarters.
He was also a little confused about the side comment he overheard while making them all something for supper. Something about ‘hussies’ and ‘purity’. Knowing better than to delve further into the more than chaotic thought processes of the Fae races, Jaune just let it be.
With his tablet before him, he kept careful count, and notes about the various monstrous races disembarked, starting their journeys towards becoming the defender’s of Remnant.
“Once the last group has arrived we will head to the auditorium, where Headmaster Ozpin will address the new students.”
“Okay.” Jaune responded, before asking, “What about their accommodations?”
“They will spend the night in the auditorium.” Glynda informed the young man. “It is after initiation and the formation of the teams that they will be assigned their dorms.”
“But what about…”
“Jaune, we’ve already made accommodations in place for those that require them.” Glynda reassured the young Doctor. “We have done this for years, so please give us some credit.”
“I’m sorry.”
“It’s nothing Jaune.” Glynda responded with a smile on her lips, “You are just proving once again why Doctor Peach has spoken of you in such… high regard.”
“Um…” Jaune reached up to rub the back of his neck, but stopped in mid-motion upon the realisation that Mai and Kai were still perched on his shoulders. “I wouldn’t believe everything she says. Please?”
“Understood.”
The pair watched as the last air-ship came and went. With the courtyard now bare of students, Glynda turned to Jaune, looking down upon him from her almost eight foot height.
“It’s time for us to head in.”
“Can I be excused?”
“Why? Is there something wrong? I can assure you that you are very safe, even from the less hospitable members of the monster community.”
“It’s not that.” Jaune replied. “I just after going over my notes have a few things to check… we have a few more than I was originally informed of.”
“Yes, sorry about that. We’ve had a few… last minute… transfers and applicants, for some reason.”
“Totally understandable, but I do need to check my supplies, as I feel I will need to have some additional items delivered prior to the check-ups.”
“Very well.” Glynda bowed her head towards Jaune, “I will see you at initiation.”
“Wouldn’t miss it for the world.” Jaune responded, his face split by his trademark welcoming grin.

Some Chulwoo omegaverse AU things because I am brainrotting
- differentiation to alphas and omegas was a result of outbreak. With appearance of mana in humans, they also started to change biology wise, but not all of them. There’s no real physical changes aside from pheromones and natural hierarchy structure. Surprisingly enough people know more about mana and dungeons than about this.. thing;
- with no surprise to anyone, S ranks also awaken as alphas, with no exception. Top A ranks sometimes awaken as alphas as well. Rest of humanity didn’t change and was deemed ‘betas’. I’m really rare cases one can awaken and awaken as omega as well, usually it’s lowest ranks simply because they lack mana to rise in natural hierarchy;
- despite jinwoo’s position as weakest hunter in existence, he’s at least lucky enough not to awaken as omega and instead stayed as a normal beta. After his ‘rebirth’ and double lair fiasco that status didn’t seemingly change but starts to the more he climbs ranks. He doesn’t even notice he became an alpha until someone who can smell pheromones (omegas and other alphas, betas literally cannot) pointed it out. They also pointed out that despite being a really strong alpha, jinwoo’s scent isn’t offensive or too strong like it usually happens with alphas, on contrary, it’s rather calming and neutral which is a rarity.
- jinchul, despite being top A rank, wasn’t awakened as an alpha and he’s really grateful for it. When S ranks or other A ranks use their offensive alpha pheromones to intimidate or submit him it doesn’t work because he simply can’t smell said pheromones. beta status makes him comfortable, since it’s less problems. Despite that however, some people (and even gunhee himself) mention that despite being a beta jinchul has faint pleasant smell, which probably helps him at managing especially rowdy people.
- with each passing meeting jinwoo starts to notice that jinchul started to smell differently to him, and he finds it pleasant, because unlike others’, jinchul’s smell isn’t offensive or intense. jinwoo has no idea that jinchul is in fact an ordinary beta and not an alpha as he thinks.
- jinwoo, who never was an alpha initially, doesn’t know alpha etiquette and thus has slight panic. Because apparently his brain starts to have stray thoughts and he’s more annoyed at other alpha’s behavior especially when it involves jinchul. gunhee is having too much fun seeing his second (disaster) son having a crisis over his alpha identity (and weird awkward unconscious attempts by to send courting signals to his right hand man). he takes pity on poor kid after some time and tells him that not only he been doing it awkwardly and wrongly, he also tells that jinchul wouldn’t been able to notice it anyway because he’s a simple beta.
- jinwoo having even more of a crisis upon realizing he’s been attempting to court jinchul without even realizing it. now on top of alpha panic he has gay panic as well. gunhee is having TOO much fun now.
- jinchul has some knowledge about behavior of both alphas and omegas but he also lacks full on knowledge so he legit has no idea when jinwoo starts to court him. he thinks jinwoo is simply trying to be nice to him due to their work.
- it’s all cute and awkward until jinwoo’s hit with his rut like a truck and he’s suffering because the instincts and urges are here but he can’t really do anything about it. what is worse he fears he may attack someone out of frustration or attack jinchul and he nearly screeches when gunhee apparently sends jinchul to his home. because jinchul have been dealing with alphas for years now and his faint calming scent is what acts as a sedative in emergency cases. so some pats and caressing from jinchul and Jinwoo is pretty much back to normal. Which is even worse for jinwoo because after jinchul leaves, this faint smell is left in his room and he’s dying from it.
- after tests turns out usual medication doesn’t work on jinwoo (due to his monarch status) so now it’s occasional sessions with jinchul. jinwoo is always dying out of awkwardness and embarrassment from it, jinchul doesn’t mind that much because honestly, it’s just some hours off sitting near jinwoo and reading a book or something with occasional pats.
- (jinwoo finally losing it and nearly attempts to bite jinchul because alpha behavior combined with monarch’s overall domineering tendencies overpowered. there was blood and fight and all jinwoo managed is to seriously mangle jinchul’s arm with his bites and teeth because that’s what jinchul was using to protect his neck)

Sooo I just started at my new office and the manager who has been training me tested positive for COVID. I am now also steadily getting unwell. So, err, to say I'm unhappy with this turn of events would be an understatement?
I don't talk a lot about myself on here, but I am open about being on immunosuppressant medications for my autoimmune disease. It's the only way I haven't completely lost the ability to function.
Obviously, being a vulnerable person I have done everything in my power to not catch COVID these past few years so having it potentially slap me upside my head on my first week at a new job is extremely shitty.
I'll let you know how things turn out, but this is just a heads up that I'm unwell regardless of what it is and probably won't do half the stuff I wanted to do this weekend. Hope you're all doing better than me and hopefully I'll remain well enough to give you an update again soon. Take care <3

I like to re post this every now and again because it's good advice I frequently forget.
Also I post it in part because I'm laying in bed with Covid (for the first time) at the moment and eating as much fruit as I can to expedite recovery. I grabbed a banana and orange, ate the banana and asked myself if this was a good combo or not. Glad I checked, because it was not. The last thing I need is indigestion.
But because it's me, my main focus has been doubling down on nutrition and observing my own results. I was eating plant based before, but sometimes I went a little too hard on the peanut butter trail mix, breads, or other sweet treats.
My doctor said rest and hydrate, but I took it a step further and since testing positive have cut out wheat, sugar, and any kind of dairy or processed foods. I figure nothing that could make inflammation worse. I've been consuming tons of herbs like cinnamon, ginger, echinacea, and turmeric while eating fresh citrus fruits like lemon, orange, strawberry, and pineapple daily.
Now I did a bit of tooling about the internet to see if any studies had been done over the last four years regarding a plant based diet and it's effects on Covid. The results were hopeful.
I found one study that said,
"Merino et al revealed that healthy plant-based foods could decrease the risk and severity of COVID-19.21 In this large survey, it was shown that as the quality of the diet rises, the risk of disease COVID-19 (HR 0.91) and severe COVID-19 (HR 0.59) diminishes.
Which gave me hope so I kept digging.
Another one stated, "Compared with an omnivorous Western diet, plant-based diets containing mostly fruits, vegetables, grains, legumes, nuts and seeds, with restricted amounts of foods of animal origin, are associated with reduced risk and severity of COVID-19. "
And I can tell you that has been my experience thus far. I developed a fever that went away after 24 hours and didn't go over 100.4. My only other symptom has been a stuffy nose with sinus pressure. Im definitely tired and need to limit activity but I can still taste and smell, breathe through my nose a decent amount of the time, and I'm not coughing. I'm lucky in that I have time off from work and for that I am grateful, as rest is another key component.
And why would a plant based diet be so beneficial for mitigating Covid symptoms? Because, "plant-based dietary patterns are rich in antioxidants, phytosterols and polyphenols which positively affect several cell types implicated in immune function and exhibit direct antiviral properties."
The full study can be found if you pop this into Google::
Acosta-Navarro JC, Dias, LF, de Gouveia LAG et al. Vegetarian and plant based diets associated with lower incidence of COVID-19. BMJ Nutr Prev Health 2024:e000629. doi:10.1136/bmjnph-2023-000629
I was really scared at first and this information helped me feel more empowered in my health and recovery. It's not a substitute for any medical attention or prevention like vaccines, hand washing, and mask wearing- all things I was doing regularly prior to getting sick which may have also been variables in keeping my symptoms down. A little help goes a long way.
Has any other plant based person had a similar experience? Let me know.

Happy new year! 🎉💖 I hope you're all doing well and that you had a lovely time over the winter holidays!
It's been quite a while since I was last on here, almost four months I think! The past few months have been quite a journey and also transformative for me in many ways. This post is an update on what has been going on with me lately and my plans for the future (warning: it may get dark at times but it's all okay in the end).
Back in August when I came home from my trip abroad I had family visiting, which was a mixture of emotions, and I ended up hitting my head really hard while they were over, leading to me getting a mild concussion. Although I feel like the word ‘mild’ doesn't accurately convey the pain that comes with such a concussion. 😂 During this time I was trying to pretend like everything was okay, when inside I was slowly losing my mind and life was becoming very overwhelming. After my last post in September, things got really bad for me, both with my physical and mental health.
From September onwards I had to face my medical phobia as I could no longer avoid going to the doctors. I was constantly fatigued, along with a range of other symptoms, and I suddenly developed a very weird rash which resembled meningitis and gave me quite the scare. Long story short, after many tests and a lot of stress, they were not able to determine what had caused the rash but at least it's nothing to be concerned about! I did, however, discover that I have a condition called hypermobile Ehlers-Danlos syndrome, which is the most likely cause of all the pain and fatigue I experience. Now that I know this, I can better manage my days and have a better understanding of how my body works, so I’ve been kinder to myself lately.
I won't go into too much detail about all my mental health struggles at this time, since this post is already getting quite long! I have struggled with intrusive thoughts and ‘voices’ in my head since I was a child, which tell me very negative things about myself and my life. It was only in the past months that I have been able to realise with the help of my therapist that these thoughts are not true and not something I need to listen to or take on board when it comes to my life choices. I have been able to actually do things I enjoy again and I am hoping to keep up this momentum during 2024! There are still a lot of other things I am working on and that I currently struggle with, including managing my eating disorder, flashbacks, and PMDD (or potentially PME with the new research that is coming out). However, I am finally at a point where I feel confident in the direction my life is heading and I have more confidence in myself. When things get bad, I tend to isolate myself (one of the unhealthy habits I am working on changing). I struggle to share my feelings with others and hate feeling like a burden, so I pull away from everyone. When I first created my social media accounts, my goal was to use them to help me express myself and have a safe space to share my thoughts and feelings. I really want to put more effort into socialising this year and to isolate less. It's okay to ask for help and it's okay to rely on others when I need it, as I would help them when they do. 💖
During all this I also had a friend move in to my house, which means I have a lot less privacy. That combined with the health scare I had meant I had to put ABDL and kinky stuff on hold for a while. I was also really struggling to get into littlespace and had a lot of confusing thoughts regarding kink in general and what I really wanted. I think I only wore diapers about twice over the months as I just couldn't get into the right headspace. I am happy to say that I am definitely feeling more little lately and I am excited to start wearing nappies again! 🤭
To end on a positive note, I want to share some good things that have happened over the past months. I have found a sport I really enjoy and have been consistently exercising now for the past month or so! I’m super proud of myself as this has been a goal of mine for years! And my daddy and I had our one year anniversary in December and spent Christmas together. 🥰
Thank you to everyone who sent me messages while I was away! Even if I haven't replied yet, know that I appreciate you checking up on me so much and I will try to get back to everyone this weekend! 😊💖 And thank you to all of you who continue to support me and care about me, it truly means a lot. I know I haven't been the most reliable in terms of content creation and I want to get better at that this year, as creating content is one of my favourite things to do and I have had so much fun with it in the past!
I hope 2024 is a great year for us all! Stay safe ily 💖

im almost out of high school. since i realized i was gay in middle school, i've given a chunk of my social life to other queer people, to feel safe and accepted. i followed along with what everybody else believed was 'correct', and that was always pro-sex work, anti-terf, etc. i never agreed with it, though. i was. scared to express my beliefs and be shamed and denounced before i can even explain. but i dont really care anymore?? im just so tired.
feels weird to say, like im breaking a big rule, but i am a radfem, and it's like a weight has been lifted off my chest. to see that i'm not the only young woman who isn't brainwashed and sees the damage actively being done, the damage being maintained over thousands of years.
your blog (and the radfem tag in general) is so refreshing. it's real, it's powerful, it's sane, and it's necessary. i feel so much better now, admitting this to myself even if nobody i know will see it (yet). thank you.
Thank you so much for your message!
I used to be a libfem and was kinda kept in the dark about how the world truly worked. I was brainwashed by men, told that women “are equal now” and that feminism isn’t necessary anymore and that slowly women would easily get leadership positions. Also had it drilled into me that women were a silly little feeling for men, I used to get shut down by TiM’s a lot and then by handmaidens when I complained.
Then I saw how much misogyny was still in the world today (it is fucking EVERYWHERE) and my eyes opened. How women today still aren’t having medication tested on their body but it all centers male bodies, how women are more likely to die in car crashes or from a heart attack because the female body isn’t used in tests and medical books only have information about male symptoms of a heart attack.
Thank fuck I woke up. And best thing is it was handmaidens and misogynists who helped me wake up. That’s kinda what happens when you shut down any woman who refuses to parrot what you say.

“Well, what’s it say?” Christian asked nervously. Your eyebrows knit together the longer you stared at the pregnancy test in your hand. “I’m not sure. Do you think we waited the full 10 minutes? There’s not really anything showing right now.” The two of you walked away after you sat the test back down on the bathroom counter, deciding to wait a few more agonizing minutes. Christian sat on the bed while you absentmindedly tossed things in your suitcase for your flight that was leaving early in the morning. You and your shiny AEW Women’s World Championship were set to appear on Dynamite tomorrow, which was something you had been looking forward to, but your headspace was somewhere else now. “What’s going through your mind baby? Talk to me,” Christian asked softly, motioning for you to come and join him on the bed. He wrapped you in his arms, embracing you tightly as your head rested against his chest. “Just worried, I guess. We have a lot on our plates right now with everything. We’re traveling every week, sometimes multiple times a week all while juggling our home and family life. I’ve only been the Women’s World Champion for a couple months. My championship reign will be cut short if I am pregnant,” you sighed as Christian tightened his embrace. “If the test is positive, will you not be happy about it? Concern laced Christian’s every word. “I’m conflicted! Torn between the happiness of expanding our family and sadness for my career. I feel like I was just getting started showing everyone what I’m made of you know?” Your thoughts were a jumbled mess, but Christian did his best to calm them. “I know baby. It’s a lot to take on right now, but we’ll make it work. We’re in this together, every step of the way! As far as your career goes, your fans will miss you, but they will understand if you’re absent for a while. Just think of the epic comeback you’d make. It would be the biggest and most anticipated in company history!”

It was hard to miss the two pink lines that were now visible on the white plastic stick sitting on the counter. Christian’s blue eyes were focused on you while you were processing everything. “Y/N? Are you okay?” he asked. You nodded your head yes, joy replacing all your previous concerns and doubt. Seeing the positive pregnancy test changed everything in an instant! A switch had been flipped as the reality of the situation set in, easing the sting you felt about your career. This baby was so much more important than anything else! You threw your arms around Christian’s neck, and he held you tightly as he spun you around. Images of a little blue-eyed baby danced in your mind and the thought made your heart swell! When Christian sat you on your feet, a certain little girl crossed your mind, prompting you to ask Christian a serious question, “How do you think Isla will take the news? She’s been an only child for almost 10 years now. Do you think she’ll be upset?” “I’m sure she will have her own sentiments about it, but overall, I think she’ll be excited! There’s only one way to find out…”
Tumblr media
Telling Isla she was going to be a big sister went extremely well! You had come up with the idea to order a custom puzzle for the 3 of you to put together to tell her the big news. You had taken a picture of a heart she had drawn for you some time ago and uploaded it on the puzzle website, editing her design slightly by putting the words “You’re going to be a big sister!” in the middle of it. Within a few days, the puzzle was delivered and the 3 of you put it together after Isla got home from school. When the last piece of the puzzle was set in place, she let out a loud shriek! She wrapped her arms around your neck squeezing tightly before running over to Christian and jumping in his arms. She started rapid firing questions at each of you, making you and Christian laugh at her excitement. “Is it a boy or a girl? When will its birthday be? Can the baby sleep in my room?” she rambled on. Could she be any cuter?! Telling her was the easy part. Breaking the news to your fans live on Dynamite was a different story.
Tumblr media
Standing in front of a live camera and telling the world you had to relinquish your Women’s World Championship was incredibly hard for you. You choked up placing it in Tony Schiavone’s hands as it seemed to mock you with its shimmer and shine when you did. Dynamite cut to a commercial break, relief washing over you now that your announcement was over and done with. You let out a rush of air once Christian closed the door to your dressing room and you walked over to him needing to feel his strong arms wrapped around you. “I think that went well; all things considered. You’re amazing Y/N. You know that, right?” he spoke gently. “Thanks for supporting me, Christian. It means the world to me! Now, our next adventure begins. Baby Cage will be here before we know it!”
Tumblr media
Days turned into months in the blink of an eye! Your baby bump was very prominent now, and Christian loved it. He always had his hands on your belly! Whenever he had the chance, he would lay his head on your lap and talk to the baby while planting soft kisses against your skin. Late one night while you and Christian were tucked in bed, he fell asleep with his head next to your stomach. You ran your fingers through his hair while you reminisced about your pregnancy up to this point. You remember how his eyes lit up when the monitor showed the baby at your first ultrasound appointment when you were 20 weeks pregnant. Both of you were mesmerized as you watched the little baby you created together wiggling around on the screen, and how you both got teary eyed when the ultrasound technician told you “It’s a boy!” You’ll never forget how nervous Christian was the first time you met with your OB doctor. He wanted to ask her if the two of you could still have sex despite you being pregnant. You could instantly see the relief he felt when she told him yes! A chill ran through you when your mind wandered back to the time you were admitted into the hospital because you were extremely dehydrated and sick with the flu. It was the longest 3 days of your life! You recalled the next hurdle that came when you failed your gestational diabetes screening at 24 weeks into your pregnancy. The test came back as positive which meant a second more invasive test had to be done. Thankfully your results from the second test showed that you didn’t have it!
Tumblr media
The scariest moment of all came late one night when you started having intense pain in your lower half. Christian rushed you to the hospital after you called your doctor, and she told you to come in to be monitored. “You’re in preterm labor,” your doctor explained. She went over the details of everything that was going on calmly, “It’s too early in your pregnancy to deliver now. You’re 33 weeks along and the goal is to be at least 39-40 weeks for a safe and healthy baby. I’m going to administer medicine that will reduce your contractions, ultimately delaying your labor. I would also like to administer 2 steroid shots that will help the baby’s lungs mature faster in case we have to deliver early. I’m very confident that we will be able to halt your labor and keep that little guy safe and sound inside until we’re ready to meet him!” The air in the room didn’t feel quite as heavy after the doctor explained her plan. When she gave you and Christian time alone, it was obvious that he was shaken up. “I’m in good hands baby. I fully trust the doctor and her plan. We’ll get through this together and our baby boy will be okay!” you reassured him while giving his hand a light squeeze. The discomfort you felt from the shots the doctor gave you was ultimately worth it when your labor had successfully been stopped. You were eventually discharged from the hospital with strict orders from your doctor. You were placed on bedrest and could no longer travel with Christian unless it was to a place that was pre-approved by the doctor. No exercising or heavy lifting either. The couch and your bed were your new best friends! Whatever you needed to do to keep the baby secure, you were going to do it.
Tumblr media
Ready or not, here he comes! At 38 weeks pregnant, it was time to finally meet your baby boy. You had met the goal your doctor set for you after your preterm labor scare! Your last ultrasound showed a healthy baby, and he was measuring right where he should be. Everything was going well until another curveball was thrown your way. Your doctor had come to check on you when she noticed something was off. “Was the baby breech at her last appointment?” the doctor quietly asked the nurse. They conversed for a few minutes more before the doctor directed her attention back to you. “Okay Y/N, the baby is in the breech position. To safely deliver him, I must do an emergency c-section…” her words started fading away as you got lost in your own thoughts. Emergency? Surgery? Must move as quickly as possible? Christian could tell your thoughts were in a downward spiral the longer you blankly stared past the doctor. He took your hand in his and kissed your knuckles, speaking calmly when your eyes locked onto his. “Y/N, I promise I won’t leave your side! I know this isn’t what we planned on, but you got this! You’re incredible baby. I’m in awe of your strength and courage!”
Tumblr media
Never did you think that the sound of crying would be music to your ears, but hearing your son wail after he was born was the best thing ever! You had successfully delivered a healthy 6lb, 4oz precious baby boy! Christian was over the moon holding his son in his arms for the first time. It was a moment that you’ll never forget! As soon as you were taken care of and wheeled into your recovery room, Christian brought Isla in to meet her baby brother. “He’s soooo cute!” she exclaimed. She was smitten with him right from the start! If she could’ve held him all night, she most certainly would’ve. You and the baby were able to go home just 2 days after delivery. Recovering from your surgery was rough on all of you since you were healing, and you still had restrictions and things you just couldn’t do. It frustrated you not being able to do simple tasks and having to rely on everyone else to do things for you! Christian encouraged you to give yourself some grace, especially after everything you went through your entire pregnancy. Deep down you knew you would bounce back; it would just take time. 6 weeks into parenthood you were starting to feel a little better. Your body was healing, and your son was growing and changing by the minute. Just yesterday you and Christian took Isla and the baby to the zoo, it being one of your first outings as a family of 4. Isla had settled in to being a big sister well, but that’s not to say there weren’t pangs of jealousy and rough patches. This was a major adjustment period for all 3 of you, but the love and adoration each of you had for one another remained strong and continued to grow as each day passed!
Tumblr media
You quickly learned that parenting was a juggling act! You and Christian dividing your time and attention between two kids, each other, and AEW was extremely difficult. Splitting yourself between 3 people that rely on you was hard. Having to put your career goals on the self (for now) was hard. Making sure Isla was getting the love and attention she needed and deserved was hard. Taking care of a fussy baby in the early hours of the morning with little to no sleep was hard. Finding alone time with Christian was hard. But, at the end of the day when you tuck Isla in bed and she tells you she loves you, and when you watch Christian rocking your baby boy to sleep in his strong arms from the doorway of the nursery, it eases the stress the difficult days bring and makes everything you went through to get to this point worth it. How did you get so lucky? It definitely is a wonderful life 💙
