once, someone repeatedly sent them hate comments saying they could never do better causing Batshit Barty and the gang to go “Bet”

A week later, A newly freed child abuser who didn’t serve his time was found dead with the exact same MO they said in the latest episode of the podcast with none of the mistakes they pointed out. No one could prove they did it yet everyone knew.

The podcast continued as usual.

Art Heist, Baby! was one of the very first jegulus fics I read, and eventually became my second-ever bind. The original binding for this fic was done over the course of a single weekend, which makes me cringe a little now—but I am still so proud of this typeset and the bind itself, despite its flaws.

Cover Bookcloth: Duo in Blue Jean HTV: Siser Brand in Gold Metal and Powder Blue Endbands: Mettler Silk Finish Thread Endpapers: Chiyogami Paper

Eventually, I found that the structure of my previous binding was less-than-ideal, and I decided to rebind my copy. Given that I couldn't change the typeset, I spent a lot of time deciding on a cover design, and eventually settled on using Ivan Aivazovsky's Ship on Stormy Seas (a painting synonymous with this fic) as inspiration.

The process of turning the boat from this painting into something that could be used with a single shade of HTV was difficult, but I eventually settled upon a design I was happy with after messing around in Illustrator for a couple weeks.

When I removed the cover from this bind, I also trimmed and painted the edges, sewed double-core french endbands (two-tone, to match the bookcloth), and reinforced the spine (though I couldn't do much for the pre-existing swell). Overall, I am thrilled with how it looks, and with how my original typeset fits with my more developed design style.

Marauders Phineas and Ferb AU

There’s 104 days of summer vacation and…

James and Sirius discover muggle inventions like waterslides and rocket ships and decide to recreate them with magic leading to hilarious results. They’re always able to enlist the help of Marlene, Mary, and Peter for their schemes no questions asked.

Regulus hates his brother’s plans and tries to get Remus to shut it down with utter failure every time… he just wanted some peace and quiet for one day. He calls Pandora to complain each time and she’s supportive but is also quietly getting ready for the fun.

Remus and Lily never seem to be around when chaos strikes. Maybe they don’t believe Regulus or maybe they just want plausible deniability?

Evan is an evil mastermind and Barty keeps ruining his plans. Barty isn’t actually against Evan’s plans he’s just a general menace and likes staging badass fights with his boyfriend. Barty’s interference somehow leads to the destruction of James and Sirius’s plan and he’s always sad he didn’t get to be a part of their bullshit.

Sometimes Dorcas also interferes but that’s because she actually cares that Evan stops being a villain. She also will receive cryptic phone calls from Reg every once in a while.

What if I told you none of it was accidental? And the first night that you saw me I knew I wanted your body I laid the groundwork, and then Just like clockwork The dominoes cascaded in a line What if I told you I'm a mastermind?

"Fuck," Regulus murmured into his cup.

"S'goin'on?" Barty slurred from next to him, already significantly inebriated and tripping over his own two feet.

"Potter," Regulus almost-groaned.

And then their eyes met.

It was like James heard Regulus say his name, even though it was impossible above the noise of the extremely crowded Gryffindor common room.

And it was like James was seeing him for the first time.

James Potter, star player of the Gryffindor Quidditch team, dressed in a shirt so tight Regulus could make out every muscle on his body; pants so low-cut there was a clear inch of skin showing from his waist.

And fuck if Regulus didn't want him.

Of course, he'd wanted him for some time.

Wanted him a lot, actually.

And he knew James wanted him, too. But they'd played this game of cat-and-mouse for too long and Regulus was impatient.

Of course, he would never admit that he wanted James enough to purposely lose a Quidditch game.

Not by a lot, mind. He'd played his part well. Distracted James with flirtatious grins and haughty looks. Kept the Gryffindor Seeker busy until they were exactly 140 points up. Then, he 'found' the snitch. 'Accidentally' let it slip through his grasp.

Gryffindor won by ten.

Cue an obnoxious Gryffindor victory party that James was guaranteed to be at.

Which Regulus showed up to. Dressed in a mesh tank top that Dorcas declared, 'Mouthwatering!"

And from James's extremely heated look, unabashedly directed at Regulus, he knew he had lost the Quidditch game, but he'd won the game he cared much more about.

And five minutes later, pinned between James's body and the cool wall of a hidden corridor, allowing James to devour his mouth, he knew he had been right.

Jegulus star crossed lovers trope, except they're not ACTUALLY star-crossed, they just think they are.

James and Regulus are like, super grossly in love and shit, but they're determined that Sirius will be furious. Because after Sirius ran away, Regulus became a taboo subject among the Marauders, so James thinks Sirius will feel betrayed when he finds out. And he'd never want to hurt his best friend, but he also can't give up his boyfriend. And then there's Regulus, who really misses his brother, and doesn't want to risk making things worse by "stealing" James from him.

Meanwhile, camera flip to Sirius, who knows about James' feelings, and is desperately plotting to get him and Reggie together. Because James is his best friend, and he wants more than anything for James to be happy. And because, while he's sure Reggie hates him for leaving, he desperately wants a chance to make it up to his brother. Also, of all the people who could date his baby brother, he'd rather it be James, who he knows will treat Reggie right. (It also means Reg isn't dating that Crouch boy, which is a plus).

So we see Sirius masterminding James and Regulus into more and more compromising situations. But they're both so determined not to give anything away that it never works. The plans get more outlandish, but Reg and James just think they have awful luck hiding from Sirius, and Sirius thinks Reggie is just oblivious.

Cut to Remus, who knows everything, staring into the camera like he's on The Office. He has weekly bitch sessions with Lily to update her on the lack of process the three idiots have made. (In return, Lily rants about how Marlene and Dorcas still haven't realized that they don't hate each other, they just don't know how to process their very gay feelings for each other, so they won't get together, damnit).

Hey guys I wrote a new fic on ao3 called blood and my tears by Ashwrites07 it's about an art heist full of criminal masterminds they're all morally grey and anyone who has been looking for some more crazy rosekiller fics this will be the one. It's mostly focused on the plot and has all ten of their povs but in terms of ships it is mostly rosekiller because those are my babies, but it also has jegulus, wolfstar, pandalily, and dorlene. As for my other fic I'm not ready to say it's fully discontinued but it is officially on hiatus I'm sorry to everyone who's been reading that.

so fun honestly. for the most part....

i love this one so very much. if you haven't read it, beware of the major character death. beautifully written, beautiful symbolism, i love it. badass regulus is my favorite and he really shines through in this. verrryyyy morally grey character moments that are overall so interesting. slowburn. pining. dark academia adjacent.
