Some of my random pjo headcanons

-piper is a graphic liner girly, you cant convince me otherwise. She will try some creative designs and experiment with colors. If you want to have a perfect liquid eyeliner, shes the one to go to. However, she cannot do eyeshadow.

-jason gifted piper a necklace with a bolt and piper gifted jason a bracelet with a heart. They did this while they were dating so that no matter what happenned to them, they will know that what they have was real and not made up. After jasons death piper refuses to take the necklace off and always wears it in his memory.(this is cheessy as fuck but i did it in my drawing and now this is my thought process)

-if an aphrodite kid is charmspeaking, their eyes will turn sighlty pink, or like have a subtle glint in their eyes.

-thalia also does make up, but very very out there, heavy eyeliner, black eyeshadow, the opposite of subtle. She also is the go to person to give you piercings. She did most of the one she has herself

-percy is the type of guy to have a disposable camera and just take photos of everything(annabeth) and make a photo album

-rachel makes jewelery, mostly rings and charm bracelets

-frank has a very active letterboxd account. He loves wes anderson and his four favorite movies are grand hotel budapest, how to train your dragon, knives out and spiderman into the spiderverse.

-in adition to this he goes on and on about movies and the cinematography and hazel loves to hear him rant about it.

-hazel is the best at finding the perfect seats to a concert. Shes the one fighting for her life in the front lines to get the best seats and somehow she always does.

-grover is an excellent cook. Whatever you want, he can make it. Also, he bakes something for everyone of percys birthdays, trying different things each year.

i enjoy how in the percy jackson fandom whenever the demigods are being drawn they are given outfits and accesories that play homage to their godly parent (e.g nico with ghouly tshirt motifs, percy with shell bracelets) when in canon these demigods are wearing an assortment of shirts and pants that they find at the bottom of a bargain bin at target, whatever that has not been destroyed in the recent war or camp shirt.

I like to think that pre-Oracle Rachel painted scenes from both wars, but she and Percy have no idea until they go back and reflect.

Percy notices, cause Rachel shows him her art, but he just rights it off as weird, even tho something doesn’t feel right.

Like, that’s DEFINITELY a replica Achilles mourning Patroclus. Only it’s two girls, one with flowing hair and a melted face, the other kneeling over her friend, face stricken with grief. He thinks her eyes look familiar. An immortal stands over them. Although they remind more of Ares and less of Thetis.

She has another painting that reminds Percy of a story from the Gigantomachy. Hera cowers under Porphyrion, about to be attacked. Only instead of Zeus and Heracles coming to her aid, it’s a guy with blond hair. His armor and sword is distinctively NOT Greek, but he opts to not comment on it. Rachel did a good job.

There’s more in her little studio, they both dismiss them as dreams. They make Rachel uncomfortable and Percy feels bile rise the more he looks.

He doesn’t realize until months later. It hits him while on the Argo. Him, Jason, Clarisse. THEY were the heroes in those paintings. Jason was the one coming to Hera’s aid. Clarisse was mourning Selina. He was fighting giants.

It all clicked into place, and he tried to remember what else her paintings for-told.

could you imagine being annabeth and thinking your boyfriend just survived a prophecy for telling he would die at 16 that, for 5ish years, you’d been preparing for, just for him to randomly (after turning 16) disappear in the dead of night ??? and literally NOTHING you do does shit?? like the mind fuck of those first couple days before she met jason were probably hell on earth for her and i know for a fact she didn’t sleep a wink

on the flip imagine being a newly claimed demigod who finds out during their little tour that “oh yeah that guy over there he’s the reason your even here lolll” then 3 months later he’s gone and the little silly community you’ve got is thrown into disarray as they search for him ??

or like imagine being grover or rachel they def both woke up and were immediately like “somethings wrong”

like she’s (annabeth) skipping over to percy’s cabin in the morning knocking on the door for like 20 min just for that bitch to be empty and the beds made and the room looks the same as it did yesterday and she’s like “hmm” but also a little pissed that he went to breakfast without her but whatever so she goes to the pavilion and ?? tf where’s percy G O N E and she like pokes around maybe he’s in the bathroom maybe he had to run home but no one’s seen him and the rest of that day is spent making calls

like maybe she even pulled her little dagger trick thinking it’d make him pop up in the lake but no

the scariest thing would be calling sally like imagine her calling or iris messaging to be like “hey can i talk to percy” and sally’s like “?? he’s with you ??”
