#VOICEMAIL#also about the 'turned to stone thing'#dude i think about it SO SO SO SO SO SO MUCH. like. theres jusr so much going on with it#like. 1. silver is maybe the only one aware that WHOLE FUCKING TIME ?#2. dude they. rhey didnt tell Green's parents ????? so they likely didnt tell yellows uncle either .#but then that makes me wonder. cause you see who they all call immediately . so 3. do crys and gold only find out..#when they're literally going on this . 'only one shot' mission ???#they dont even get like. time 2 process the fact that their seniors AND silver are. basically fuckin dead ????#like. your friend who often just kind of vanishes sometimes isnt picking up your calls and nobodies seen him for a bit#but he's just like that !#but then. none of your seniors respond either.#AND . AND . YKNOW WHATS LIKE. SUPER FUCKED ? DUDE. THERES THIS LIKE. MINI CHAPTER RIGHT B4 FRLG ? WHERE GOLD N RED ARE HANGING OUT.#and red leaves through the door 2 go see professor oak. (FOR FRLG.) and like. he says 2 gold he'll see him later.#thats.. SUPER FUCKED ???#dude. but anyways. you dont hear from them for a few days#and your OTHER friend is starting to get worried . (because you contacted her to make sure she hadn't disappeared) but you're sure its fine#then you get a call. telling you all of them just got. turned into statues. in a different region . and now you're being shipped off to#start work on the only chance of bringing them back.#OKAY .#that period of time is soo fucked 2 me. i think about it so much. crystal was working constantly .. recruiting another child to get involve#in this mess because its the only plan they have..#and gold keeps failing the training that they NEED for it to work. and its framed like a joke but. they only had so much time.#like. i wonder how silver felt just. being aware in that statue for. months. especially after.. ALL of the shit he learned in frlg#and crystal and gold only had each other durign that time.#they scraped their money 2gether to buy a suit for the plan.. had to train 2gether under ultima..#also im likr. really normal and not crazy about the weird little ways crys n particularly gold interact with the statues ??#all the touching n the eyeing i mean... and how guile taunts them about silver ? calling him a broken tool and how no matter how much care#and work and time you pour into someone.. it doesnt change the fact that theyre broken. n crys n gold get so pissed about this ?#LIKE. UNDERSTANDABLY SO BUT. AUUUGGGJHH. i have so many more thoughts on this.#i wrote so many tags it broke the post and ate half of them (twice) so i wont write them ALL here. BUT IM STILL SORRY ABOUT THE ESSAY

You said you believe Delia is very isolated. But what about all those people who were rooting for Ash in the first episode? There was a man with tears in his eyes.
i think she's more isolated in the way that she's guarded and keeps her real feelings close to her chest
she's very friendly and personable and i'm sure she's friends with most people in town (since it's very small and she runs the one restaurant there). but i don't think she has a lot of reaaaally close friends other than professor oak
also the impression i got from the crowd cheering on ash was just the town being excited that someone from pallet was going off on their journey. early in the series (and in the novel) there's a lot of emphasis on the fact that being a successful trainer is HARD. it's like a town pride thing! i imagine since pallet is so tiny, there's not a whole a lot big shot trainers from there. it's also why i feel like whenever ash introduces himself, he says "i'm ash from pallet town". he's representing them

Hey girly!! FIRST OFF I JUST WANT TO ACKNOWLEDGE HOW FLAWLESS YOUR WORK IS, honestly you are truly talented! However I just wanted to make a request for a Larissa Weems and fem!professor/reader, one shot. But the reader isn’t much shorter than Larissa (like about 5’9-5’11). Because there aren’t many fanfics of Larissa x fem!reader, where the reader is just a tad bit shorter. My idea of this fic would be something fill of fluff and Reader comes home and sees Larissa exhausted so reader attempts to calm Larissa down after a long day at work; type thing but yeah!!
I understand if your requests are filled with many other amazing ideas but I hope this makes an exception!! If not I hope you still have a glorious day AND IF YOU DO MAKE IT PLEASE TAG ME!!!
- thank you
Heyyyyy @gwenswif3yy !! Your too kind! I appreciate all your lovely words 💕 I would love to write this for you, and I hope you have a glorious day as well!

Mommy…Master List
Requests & Prompt-List
Warnings: SFW, fluffy fluff, kissing, moaning
Enjoy (:
It was nearly six o’clock on this particular Friday, meaning you had to start cleaning up the shop.
“Beauty & Botanicals” was your baby that you had built from the ground up. It was a quaint little flower shop, in which you took much pride and joy.
On your way out, you grabbed a bundle of white roses, your partner’s favorite. You were considered yourself extremely lucky in the partner that you had found.
Her name was Larissa Weems, and she was the principal at a school for outcasts called ‘Nevermore’.
She was quite tall and a titanium blonde who always wore a distinct red lip. She truly was a thing of beauty and elegance…
Coming out of your daydream, you realized that you were already halfway to the school.
Had you been driving this entire time without being consciously present…?
You shook the thought out of your mind as you pulled up to the school. You got out of your car, walked through the courtyard, and entered the maze of a school.
You walked through the many corridors, finding your way like it was the back of your hand.
You got a couple of stares, but you were used to them so you paid no mind.
For one, you were a normie in an outcast school…
But secondly, you were an irregular normie…
You practically matched Larissa in height, coming only a few inches below her. Your dress and fashion choices were not restrained in any manner, you enjoyed expressing yourself and you didn’t hold back. Many people called you masculine or a tomboy. Your make-up tended to be minimal, if you were even wearing any, and your build was more masculine with attributes like broader shoulders or sturdier, stouter hands.
And before you knew it, you were standing in front of Larissa’s office doors.
You rapped on the dark, oak door, holding the flowers in your other hand.
“Come in!” Larissa spoke, loud enough for you to hear her.
You walked into her office to find Larissa hunched over her desk, her nose in her computer screen, and her brows intensely furrowed.
You chuckled lightly to yourself, placing your things on one of the side chairs and walking up to her desk with the white roses in hand.
“You know you overwork yourself…” you teased the blonde, with a hint of serious concern.
“Hello to you as well, Darling…” Larissa chuckled, a smile finally gracing that exhausted face as she looked up to meet your gaze.
You sighed heavily at the sight of her worn-out, frenzied eyes.
“Are those for me…?” Larissa teasingly asked, having noticed the flowers and effectively pulling you out of your ponderings of Larissa.
You grinned and nodded sweetly, making Larissa blush slightly.
“Thank you, love.” She whispered.
You hummed in response, before continuing your thought, “Why don’t I put these in a vase, while you finish up, and then we can head out?”
Larissa hummed and nodded, her head swaying in exhaustion.
The poor woman…
You couldn’t stand seeing her like this…
You cupped her check and leaned across the desk to give her a quick peck on the lips. At that, Larissa let a breath out she didn’t know she’d been holding.
You then walked over to the flowers you’d brought her last week and exchanged them for the new ones.
Once you had finished, you gathered your belongings and turned to Larissa, “Ready to go, love?”
“Almost…” Larissa hummed, finishing typing something on her computer before shutting it down.
Larissa then got up and got her own belongings, giving you the opportunity to grab her coat and help her into it.
She hummed a light “thank you, dear…” in response, to which you hummed back in response.
You two interlocked hands, she locked the office door, and you were both on your way.
The car ride was past in silence. You could Larissa was exhausted and just needed a break.
And that’s exactly what you planned to give her tonight.
When you got to your house at the edge of town, you helped her out of the car, catching another deep sigh from Larissa (like the fourth or fifth one if you’d been counting correctly…)
You two entered the your house and you immediately discarded all coats and belongings.
Larissa was about to make her way to her study, as if she was going to start working again, but you quickly halted that attempt.
“No no no…” you tutted, guiding Larissa to the living room instead, “Let me take care of you, love…”
“Darling, I have work…” Larissa whined.
“Not tonight… tonight, your going to relax…” you insisted, as you had her sit down in front of the couch and you sat behind her.
You began massaging her shoulders, and you could feel all that tension which she had been amassing all week long.
You drew strings of breathy moans and groans from the blondes precious lips, as you continued to work her shoulders.
As one hand continued its administrations, you sued the other to start to remove the pins from her hair.
Larissa audibly exhaled at you loosening her uptight hair.
Pin after pin, her hair began cascading down to her shoulders.
You turned your entire attention to her hair and neck now.
Once all the pins were on the floor, you massaged from the bottom of her neck, up to her scalp, running your fingers through her titanium locks.
She was relaxing more and more…
You unzipped the top of her dress to gain a bit more access to massage down her spine.
Once you had worked out most of her knots, you began peppering her skin with kisses.
Larissa blushed deeply at this act, but said nothing against it, rather she cranes her neck to give you more access.
You made sure to touch, lick, suck, kiss every inch of available skin on that woman’s body.
And you could tell she was enjoying it from the leud sounds that were staring to flow from her lips.
You placed one final kiss on her collar bone, and then brought your lips to the shell of her ear,
“How about we order some take-out and cuddle for the night…” you husked know her ear.
Larissa happily sighed, “I’d love nothing less, my love…”

Runaway (modern!HOTD): chapter 11
Tumblr media
Aemond's POV: Y/n was gone for quite some time already and Aemond started to worry. He went outside but couldn't see her anywhere. "Y/n?" he called out. No answer. He went to their oak free just to see that she wasn't there either. "Y/n??" he called out once more but his question was answered with silence. He started to get nervous and went back to the dorm. He was halfway there when he noticed a reflection on the ground, shimmering in the lamp light. He got closer to it and his face went pale. It was y/n's necklace. He picked it up and panic overwhelmed him "Helaena??" he shouted and his sister hurried outside "What is-" she began and her eyes widened when she saw Aemond holding up the necklace "Shit..shit shit shit" she said "Okay..what are we gonna do? Oh my god" Helaena panicked and Ameond stopped her in her tracks "Breathe Hel. We have to think now. It's probably that bastard of a father who got her" Aemond said and stayed surprisingly calm. Helaena whined at his words "Where could he have taken her? Oh god Aemond.." she said with a shaky voice. "Hm.." Aemond made in response and then he knew what he had to do "Go and get Professor Baratheon. I will call y/n's mother" Aemond said and Helaena nodded and rushed away to find the professor.
Luckily y/n had important phone numbers written down in a notebook. Aemond dialed her mom's number "Hello?" "Mrs y/l/n, this is Ameond" he said with a thick voice "What happened? Where is y/n?" she asked immediately and he could hear the worry in her voice "She..He got her" he managed to get out, his voice betraying him "Wh-where could he have taken her Mrs y/l/n?" he asked with a shaky voice and there was a moment of silence.
"I might have an idea. We used to spend a lot of time in a cottage by the sea when we were younger. Hang in there. I am getting on my way" she said "Okay. I told Helaena to get Professor Baratheon" Aemond added "Good. Wait for me"
A good 30 minutes later they all gathered together. Aemond felt like being on the verge of a mental breakdown. If anything would happen to y/n he would lose his mind. "We used to have a summer house back in the days. It's by the ocean, an hour ride from here" y/n's mother said showing them the place on a map. "It's best to go there in two cars. I'll go with Borros. Aemond you can follow us in your car. "I am coming with you!" Helaena protested "No offense Hel but..you are a sensitive person. I need you to stay safe here and take care of everything else" Aemond said softly and Helaena sighed "Fine.."
They parted ways and got on the road.
An hour later the summer house was getting closer. And y/n's mother seemed to be right. Thru a window on the ground floor they could see a light. Someone definitely was in that house.
Your POV: You woke up in darkness, a slight sting shot into your forehead and soon you realized that you were blindfolded, your wrists attached to a hard frame which seemed to belong to the chair you were sitting on. Before you could say anything, the blindfold was removed and you blinked rapidly with a groan at the sudden light around you. "I made pancakes. You loved pancakes when you were little" a male voice said sweetly and as soon as you came to your senses fully you realized who the voice belonged to. Walter Greyjoy. Your father. "I am not hungry" you hissed and he chuckled darkly "Ever so stubborn, just as your mother" he almost spat out the words and you felt your stomach fill with disgust. "Where are we?" you asked and stared directly at him, the same pair of eyes staring back at you "Where we belong, little bird. Home" he said with a smile that didn't reach his eyes "What do you want from me? Do you want to destroy my life just as you destroyed my mother's? She will look for me. Aemond is gonna look for me, they will all be here soon" you spat out and he chuckled "Let them come then. A happy little family reunion" he said sarcastically "I waited 18 long years for this moment. She took you away from me, I won't let that happen again" he said almost manically and you felt a cold shower go down your spine.
You heard the squeaking of wheels outside and several feet walking to your location. "MOM! AEMOND! I AM HERE" you shouted out and before you could say anything more you felt a hard smack against your head causing you to see stars.
"Walter open the door!" you faintly heard your mother's voice, your head was spinning and you could feel a warm liquid run down your temple, a big red drop landing on your lap.
You didn't know what and how it happened but next thing you knew, Borros Baratheon tackled your father down from behind, your mother talking hectically on the phone. Your view started to get more and more blurry "Y/n! I am here, baby. We got you, you are safe. Don't close your eyes, stay with me..Y/N!" you heard Aemond's pleading voice and then everything went black again.
Next time you woke up you realized quickly that you were in a hospital. You groaned at the slight headache and sat up carefully. Aemond sat in a chair next you your bed, his head hanging low. He was asleep. "Aem-.." you tried to say hoarsely and he stirred. "Aemond" you tried again and he woke up "You're awake" he said softly, his eyes filled with sorrow and guilt. "What happened?" you asked and groaned when you felt another shot of pain to your forehead. "He had you..I really thought I'd lose you entirely this time. Your mother distracted him and Borros, Professor Baratheon, attacked him from behind. The police came. He is imprisoned now. He cannot hurt you anymore. I should have never let you go outside alone I..if I would have lost you..I could never be happy again. Y/n I love you so much" Aemond blurted out and you felt your eyes fill with tears "It's all good now. I am here Aem, we are here. We are okay" you sniffed and he carefully got next to you on the bed, taking your face into his big palms "I don't ever want to be without you again, y/n. You mean the world to me" Aemond said softly and your heart was swelling at his words "I am not going anywhere, Aemond. I am here and I love you" you said and he smiled at you with teary eyes "You have no idea how much I love you" he said and you chuckled "I think I might know" you giggled and he laughed happily, sealing your lips with a passionate kiss.
After a few more hours you were allowed to go back to the campus. Aemond thought it was best if you went with your mother. You surely had a few things to talk about. "I feel so terrible for all this. This should never had happened" your mother said quietly when she parked the car in the campus's parking lot "Can you ever forgive me?" she cried out "Mom of course I forgive you. You did all of that to protect me and Robert. I could never hold any grudge against you. I love you mom" you said and she pulled you into the tightest hug "I love you too honeybee. Thank you so much sweetheart" she sniffed and you held her for a few more minutes.
After a short while you got out of the car and made your farewell with your mother. She then departed with a last wave at you.
You got into the dorm and Helaena basically jumped into you "Oh god y/n. I was so scared" she cried out and you hugged her tightly "It's okay Hel. I am okay" you re-assured her and she looked at you with a teary smile. "I think you need some time now. If you need me, I am at Jace's place" she said with a faint blush and you giggled "Don't do anything I wouldn't do" you mimicked her words from the night of yours and Aemond's first date and she stuck out her tongue at you followed by a giggle.
You sighed and went into your room, Aemond already waiting for you "Hi" you said with a smile and he smiled back "Hey. I got something for you" he said and you blinked confused at his words "Come here" he said and you did as you were told and sat next to him "turn around and lift up your hair" he whispered into your ear, causing a shiver to run down your spine. You followed his instructions and felt something cold around your neck. Your necklace. "You found it" you said softly and turned around to look at him "The moment I saw it on the ground I knew something was not right" he said with a gulp "I knew if you would find it, you would look for me" you said softly and he looked at you in surprise "You left it there on purpose" he concluded and you nodded with a soft smile "My clever girl" he said and caressed your cheek softly. Your eyes closed in pleasure and when you opened them again Aemond was staring at you with slightly parted lips, his pupil blown wide "Come here" he said quietly and you got closer to him. He pulled you towards him and immediately kissed you with a burning passion. You climbed onto his lap and straddled him, pulling your shirt over your head and threw it into the room carelessly "You are so beautiful" Aemond whispered and started to pepper your neck with kisses, his hands reaching behind your back to unclasp your bra. He kissed from your neck to your chest, his lips brushing softly over one of your nipples while his hand cupped your other breast "Aemond" you moaned softly and buried your hands in his soft, long silver locks. He pushed you carefully to lay you onto your back, hovering over you "Aemond please..I need you" you whimpered softly and he chuckled at your impatience, taking his sweet time to remove your trousers. He kissed the insides of your thighs softly and then placed a kiss directly to your clothed centre which caused you to gasp "Aem.." you whined "Patience is a virtue my love. Let me take care of you" he said with a smirk and you wanted to smack him for his cockyness but threw your plans out of the window when you felt him pulling down your panties. "Please.." you whined "What do you want baby? Tell me exactly what you need" he said hoarsely and a soft moan escaped your lips "I need you to touch me" you whispered and as soon as the words left your lips you felt his face between your legs, his hot tongue exploring your centre "Oh god" you moaned and grabbed a fistful of his hair which caused him to groan slightly, the vibration of it sending shockwaves of pleasure thru your body. He started to lick you feverishly and you felt your peak building up in your lower belly. A loud moan escaped your lips and you came undone. He got up from between your legs and grinned at you devilishly, kissing you passionately, making you taste yourself on his tongue. "Why are you still wearing your clothes?" you whined and he chuckled "Ever so impatient" he laughed slightly and removed his clothes in swift motions, causing you to gawk at him like a lovesick idiot "Still need me?" he asked with a smirk and you bit your lower lip and nodded. He positioned himself between your legs and pushed into you slightly, just to pull out almost entirely again. You groaned but before you could protest he pushed back into you, making you feel almost dizzy at the way he filled you up "Taking me so well..fuck. You're so tight" he groaned and grabbed you by the hips, starting to thrust into you relentlessly. Soon the room was filled with occasional moans and skin slapping against skin. You felt your second orgasm building into your lower belly, your nails digging slightly into Aemond's back which caused him to hiss in pleasure. Your second climax washed over you like a heavy wave and Aemond followed closely after you, coating your inner walls with his cum. He pulled out and leaned his forehead against yours, both your breaths still heavy "I love you so fucking much" he said with a shaky voice and you smiled tiredly at him "I love you too. More than I could ever tell" you said and pulled him into a loving kiss.
You stayed in each other's embrace for a while longer, sleep starting to wash over you. A smile on your face and a warmth into your heart, you drifted into a deep, dreamless slumber. Right here, right now, in the arms of the man that you loved so deeply, you finally felt at home.

Farewell to You, ch 6
Togetic flew over to Misty, tears rolling down its face. Misty was frozen for a second before she started to cry tears of happiness. She gushed, "You came back!"
Mitsy hugged Togetic so tightly as both mother and daughter both started to cry. Misty pulled out of their hug.
Lucy asked, "But what is Togetic doing here? Wasn't it supposed to stay in the Togepi Paradise? Isn't that what you told me, Brock?"
Kenny pointed out, "Maybe it sensed what was going on here and wanted to help."
Goh stated, "That's a good point."
Misty turned to Togetic, "If you are, that's wonderful news!"
Chloe frowned, "I think it wants to stay."
Misty's eyes widen as she turned to Togetic, "Is that true?"
To that, Togetic nodded happily. Misty had tears in her eyes as she brought out a pokeball. Togetic went in it and the red light dimmed. Ash was beyond happy for Misty.
Solidad stated, "Now that's what I call a happy ending."
Harley added, "Got that right, hun."
Brandon told them, "It still doesn't change the fact that we have no idea where Lugia is."
Luka thought for a moment and said, "We might." Everyone looked at her and she explained, "Lately Silver has been having a visitor. Another Lugia." Everyone gasped. She added, "And no one knows where it came from."
Anabel admitted, "It's a bit of a stretch but I think we should check it out."
Ash told everyone, "Let's split up. Dawn, Kenny, Paul, Ranee, Zoey, Todd, Barry, and Bianca will check out Mount Coronet. Misty, me, Brock, Brandon, Luka, and Lucy will check out near Ogi Island. Everyone else stand-by here in case something go south."
To that, everyone nodded. Dawn recalled Buneary. Dawn gave Johana a hug before she left. Johana returned it, kissing Dawn's head. They parted from their hug. Dawn went over to Ash.
Dawn told Ash, "Be careful."
Ash replied, "You too. You got this."
"Pika!" Pikachu said.
"Piplup!" Piplup said.
Barry said farewell to Palmer, who waved goodbye. With that, Dawn's team headed out. The weather had stopped changing for a few minutes as Ash turned to his mom. He gave her a quick hug. She returned it.
Delia whispered, "Be careful, Ash."
Ash winked teasingly, "You ought to know me better than that."
Delia laughed as she messed up his hair. Ash laughed as he turned to his team. They all nodded and then started to head out.
Misty told her sisters, "Wish us luck!"
Daisy, Lily, and Violet all said, "Luck."
As Ash's group left, Delia was crying. She was proud of the man that her son had become.
Palmer told her, "You know that they're going to be okay."
Delia sniffled, "I know... But you know as well as I do, I still worry."
Johanna admitted, "And that's when Dawn says not to worry, I still do. There's nothing wrong with that, Delia."
Professor Oak said, "That's so true. I worry about Andrew and Gary all of the time." He paused and slightly teased, "Someone has to."
Gary shot his grandpa a look, "Oh ha ha, gramps."
To that, Professor Oak chuckled. Max turned to Molly.
He asked, "Are you okay, Molly?"
Molly admitted, "Yeah, guess so. Thanks for checking on me, Max."
Max blushed, "Anytime."
To that, Molly blushed.
Anabel told Looker, "I think we should go to Shamouti too."
Looker nodded in agreement, "If anyone else wants to go with us, they are more than welcomed to."
Gary and Erika decided to go with them. The rest of them stayed behind, just in case.
...
Back with Dawn's group, they were climbing Mount Coronet. Dawn had grabbed her heavy coat from her backpack and put it on. It was starting to get really cold. Everyone had done the same thing. Kenny was wearing a light green heavy coat. Paul was wearing a dark purple heavy coat. Ranee was wearing a dark purple heavy coat. Zoey was wearing a yellow heavy jacket. Todd was wearing a red heavy coat. Barry was wearing an orange heavy jacket. Bianca was wearing an orange and white heavy jacket.
Dawn was clutching Piplup close. So close that Piplup was struggling in her grip.
"Pip!" Piplup complained.
Dawn perked up, letting go of her Water type.
She apologized, "Sorry."
Kenny asked, "Are you alright?"
Dawn admitted, "Not really... Just stressed. And scared..."
Kenny raised a brow, "This coming from the girl that says 'no need to worry' constantly? And the one that helped save the world more than once?"
Dawn blushed, "Kenny..."
Kenny told her, "Listen Dawn, there's nothing to be worried about. We have amazing teammates and an amazing leader. I know we can do this. We can do this together."
Dawn kissed him, making Kenny blush. Dawn pulled out of the kiss. She smiled at him.
She said, "Thanks Kenny."
Kenny stated, "Anytime, Dee-Dee."
Dawn flushed out of embarrassment but didn't protest.
Paul asked, "You two done yet?"
Dawn and Kenny both blushed as the rest of the group laughed.
Todd stated, "I can't wait to see Articuno again. Maybe I could get its picture again."
Zoey asked, "You really like taking pictures of Pokemon, don't you?"
Todd answered, "Well, yeah. It's always been a passion of mine."
Zoey stated, "That's pretty cool."
Todd blushed as he admitted quietly, "You're pretty cool."
Zoey perked up, "Wait, what?"
Todd faked a cough, "Coughing! I was coughing! Those weren't words."
Paul groaned, "I'm surrounded by idiots."
Ranee pointed out, "You're dating me so what's your point?"
To that, Paul flushed. Everyone laughed. Barry had Bianca's hand, smiling at her. Bianca laced their fingers, keeping him close.
Barry asked, "Are we getting there?"
Bianca admitted, "Not sure cause it seems like this mountain keeps going."
Barry stated, "I hope we don't get there too late."
Bianca shuffled herself a bit closer to her boyfriend, "Same..."
A shriek caught their attention. The team perked up. That's when they saw Articuno.
Todd breathed, "Articuno..."
Zoey stated, "It's beautiful."
Barry told the Ice/Flying type, "Articuno, we've come to warn you. The other legendary birds have been collected."
Articuno perked up, shrieking in surprise.
Bianca confirmed, "It's true. And we've come to protect you as well."
Dawn asked, "Do you know where Lugia is...? Maybe it can help?"
"Pip!" Piplup said.
Articuno shrieked as if it didn't know.
Kenny frowned, "That sounded like a no."
Before anything could happen, the weather changed again. This time, it was hailing.
Paul groaned, "Oh great, as if things couldn't get any worse."
That's when the airship appeared.
...
Wishmaker1028: Wow, I love doing this. This has been so much fun, honestly. Also, did anyone notice the Gravity Falls reference in this chapter? Please read and review! And always think outside of the box!

ooh, could i request 12 and/or 13 for your choice of oc please? —@shoshiwrites
(from this lovely askbox meme)
12.  We all have somewhere we retreat in our heads to calm down - a happy place. Describe that place for your character - a physical location or a time or place they felt safe or at ease.
For Georgina Webster, it's her father's study.
It's a surprisingly modest space for a man of C. Terrence Webster's renown, with a humble oak desk and typewriter, his worn chair, and two bookshelves along the back wall. The sun flows in from the east from the morning into the late afternoon and the air is hazy after twenty-years worth of pipe smoke. It’s relatively bare of decoration but full of his character—with pictures from his years in Africa and Georgie’s childhood and piles upon piles of correspondence from his fellow writers and academics.
It’s a shrine to the power of the written word, the mind in action, and it’s been Georgie’s favorite place for as long as she can remember. He used to sit her on his lap while he wrote and told her about the world and its turns, her mother protesting that she was far too young to understand. But she wasn’t.
The study is where she received her first typewriter and met the greatest thinkers of a generation and first aspired to become one herself. She was never shot down, admonished, or made to feel unintelligent within those four walls. She’d come to know every book and essay almost as well as her father, adding creases and cracks to the well-loved spines arranged in his particular system. It was where she ran after fights with her mother and after arguments with imaginative professors. It was where she slept, in the pool of sunlight on the rug under the window, with Mister Hemingway the cat.
That study holds the truth about life even now, and Georgie is not too old or too proud to sit across from her father and talk for hours, debating and theorizing about her coursework at Radcliffe and conversations with her peers. The study is the smartest and most uneducated she’ll ever be and she treasures that feeling because she knows how lucky she is to be able to learn from a man like her father.
13.  Characters have to come from somewhere before the story starts. Tell me about someone they trust before the story begins and why that trust exists.
Holly Johansson is Victoria Albert's dearest friend in the whole wide world. They could practically be sisters with their fine blonde hair and their light freckles and their identical bright smiles. (They do in fact introduce one another as sisters.)
They grew up across the street from each other and their older brothers were friends before either one of them came along, so it was inevitable that they'd be in each other's lives. But no one could've predicted how close they'd become.
They originally bonded out of necessity, otherwise they'd have no one to play with when the school day ended and their brothers sped off down the street without them. It quickly turned to friendship as they braided each other's hair and traded dolls and got bikes of their own so they could ride to the grocer's and buy penny candy.
It's easy between them, all the time. They can read the other girl like a book and therefore there are no secrets between them, not that they'd want there to be. They're bosom buddies, confidants, cheerleaders, and they balance each other well. Holly's more of a dreamer while Victoria is more of a doer, but they both aspire to get out of Green Bay and see the world (Holly to Hollywood, Bertie to the Big Apple.)
When APS comes looking for photographers, no one is happier or most nervous for Victoria than Holly, and Holly is the first person Bertie writes to when something happens overseas.

Current WIPs and Drafts
So, I got the idea to organize and list out my current WIPs and drafts by @lmaoirrelevant's recent post in the hopes that it will jumpstart the creative juices for some of them. And because I have an obscene amount of drafts, apparently, and they need constant wrangling. If you'd like, you can let me know if there are any projects on the list that you really want to see updated/finished! It might give me extra motivation to just buckle down and work through it. A big thanks to @lmaoirrelevant for letting me borrow the idea! If you haven't read any of their fabulous fics, you should go remedy that ASAP! They're wonderful!
This one is literally just for my pokemon fic because I have so much of it. I may do a separate one for my other fandoms or section this out later.
Currently Posted WIPs:
Entropy – Goh/Ash/Gary, Red/Blue. Goh is sucked into another alternate dimension, except this one is so different from his own dimension that it’s unnerving. Like how one of his husbands doesn’t seem to know him at all and the other has supposedly been dead for over a decade. Thanks a lot, Palkia.
Brush Off that (Cold) Shoulder – Goh/Gary/Ash. The one where Goh has an ill-advised drunken tryst with Gary Oak—the jackass professor who just brutally shot down Goh’s request for an internship at Oak Laboratory. Oh, and the adorably earnest guy who keeps insisting on making Goh breakfast the morning after? He’s none other than Gary’s famous Pokemon Champion husband, Ash Ketchum. Goh is… understandably confused. And never trusting Dawn or her stupidly-strong cocktails ever again.
Pandarus – Goh/Gary/Ash. Ash and Goh have always worried about Gary's apparent disinterest in dating. With their own wedding just weeks away, they decide to help their long-time friend find his special someone too. Honestly, they don't understand why Gary's so pissed about it. Or why their other friends keep calling them assholes. AKA the one where Gary's been pining after his two dumbass friends for years and Ash and Goh are way more oblivious than anyone thinks.
Ribbons and Arrows – Goh/Gary/Ash. Chloe’s Eevee evolves into a sylveon, whose powers supposedly include knowing when and with whom someone is in love. The problem is, Goh would rather it not broadcast to the whole world that he’s stupidly, hopelessly in love with his two best friends.
Misty’s Toll-Free Hotline for Pining Gay Idiots – Ash/Gary. In which Misty unwittingly becomes Gary’s emotional support person regarding his big gay crush on Ash, and she’s honestly kind of fed up with them both.
Currently in My Drafts:
Regency AU – Ash/Gary. Lord Gary has a mountain of expectations to live up to. He’s to inherit his grandfather's dukedom, marry a woman of proper birth, and produce an heir. Too bad he’s falling hopelessly in love with his stableman, Ash.
Vampire AU – Ash/Gary. Gary comes from a long line of vampire hunters. Ruthless and efficient, he’s never let a mark get away. That is, until he’s tasked with taking down Ash—a seeming walking disaster of an undead that Gary is trying very hard to not find endearing.
Truth Serum – Ash/Gary/Goh. Gary is hit by a blast of psychic energy and suffers a rather… unique side effect. Namely, that he can’t stop telling the truth. Which is… totally fine. It’s not like he’s harboring any deep, dark secrets, like being hopelessly in love with his two best friends. …Right?
Distraction – Misty/May. It’s hard to have a secret crush on someone who spends 90% of their time in a bikini. Or, May has Feelings or something, and Misty obliviously makes her life incredibly difficult.
Pokemon AU Part 3 – Ash/Gary. AtLA. No one expects Ash—Oak’s worst student (who is weirdly prone to accidentally electrocuting people)—to be the Avatar. Unfortunately, a heated spar with his insufferable classmate Gary blows his cover rather spectacularly.
Ghost AU – Red/Blue. Red is the stone-faced ghost haunting Blue's new apartment. But he's only, like, concerned with reminding Blue to goddamn eat once in a while (something with vitamins, preferably). Blue keeps finding snacks on his person that he knows he didn't put there. He's not amused once he figures out who is doing it.
Kidfic 1 – Ash/Gary. Ash regularly comes home with all sorts of strays. Gary just never expected him to turn up with an actual, human baby.
Kidfic 2 – Ash/Gary/Goh. Elana Ketchum-Oak and her three embarrassing dads. And don’t get her started on her legion of (equally embarrassing) aunts and uncles. Although, she supposes Uncle Tracey isn’t too terrible (just don’t tell Papa).
Handmade – Blue/Red. No one knows that Blue only wears necklaces because Red keeps making them for him.
Rebound – Ethan/Silver. Somehow, Silver becomes Ethan’s go-to Emotional Support Rival to comfort him through his pile of failed relationships. Silver’s annoyed, because he’s busy and doesn’t have time for Ethan’s sentimentality and absolutely no other reason, stop making assumptions, Blue.
Pokemon Masters ficlet – Blue/Red. Ash and Red both seem to realize that they’re alternate versions of each other—a fact that they’re determined to keep under wraps. Too bad they’re forgetting about Blue’s uncanny ability to recognize Red (a talent that apparently extends to Reds from other dimensions as well). Now, if he could just figure out why Ash keeps calling him Gary, of all things…
Rivalry Sequel – Ash/Gary/Goh. The grad students at the Vermillion Institute finally get to go on their first research expedition, and with Professors Oak and Albright as the leads. Unfortunately for them, they realize all too quickly why everyone keeps gifting them ear plugs.
Sickness – Ash/Gary/Goh. Gary gets sick while Ash is away, leaving Goh to keep an eye on him. AKA Gary doesn’t deal well with idleness, and Goh is saddled with the worst patient ever.
Proposal – Red/Blue. The tale of the night Blue proposes. Irredeemable fluff and nothing more.
“The Way Men Love” – Ash/Gary. After his parents’ death, little Gary Oak decides that he’ll never be helpless to keep someone he loves safe ever again. And then he meets Ash, who attracts trouble like a damn magnet, and realizes that sometimes the only way to protect someone is to make sure they’re strong enough to protect themselves.
Cuddling – Silver/Ethan. Ethan has no concept of personal space—a fact that is slowly but surely driving Silver insane.
21st – Ash/Gary/Goh. Gary is tasked with picking up Goh from the bar when the latter drinks too much on his 21st birthday. He assumes he’s the absolute last person Goh wants to see on his birthday (judging by his usual reactions to Gary’s presence), so he’s more than a little surprised with how excited Goh is when he shows up.
Couch – Red/Blue/Ethan. Ethan thinks Red and Blue’s couch is intolerably uncomfortable, but their only solution seems to be dragging him into their bed every time he visits, which Ethan is, like, 90% sure is Really Weird (even if he kind of likes it).
In a Hole – Red/Blue. Blue and Red get stuck in a literal hole in the ground. They have plenty of time to work out their feelings for each other while they wait for someone to rescue them. Too bad they’re both emotionally constipated idiots.
72 Hours – Ash/Gary/Goh. When someone attacks Oak Laboratory, Gary gets trapped in the collapsed building. His only hope for survival is waiting for someone to rescue him. Except he was supposed to be on his way to a conference in Sinnoh, not indulging an Ash mega-fan with her first pokemon, so there's a good chance no one will even realize he’s missing until it’s too late. Add in the fact that whoever attacked the lab is going on a deliberate spree of targeting other research facilities, and his odds look even bleaker. But, if there’s one thing Gary’s good at, it’s surviving.
Homing Beacon – Silver/Ethan. Ethan always seems to know where Silver is. Because they’re rivals, obviously. It’s not like he’s stalking him or anything (Silver disagrees).
Surrogate Dad – Silver/Ethan, Red/Blue. An annoying joke about Blue being Silver’s adoptive dad escalates, because Blue can never do anything halfway. Red is ambivalent about his new parenthood status, and Ethan lives in perpetual fear of Blue’s wrath if he messes up his relationship with Silver. Silver is… well, Silver’s surrounded by idiots, so he’s tired, okay?
Praise – Ash/Gary/Goh. Goh finds out Gary has a bit of a praise kink. He’s pretty sure he shouldn’t be devoting as much time to thinking about it as he is.
Alola – Ash/Gary. Gary’s research takes him to Alola, which would be amazing if not for the fact that Ash apparently talked about him so much during his time there that half the region now thinks they’re dating.
Mt. Silver - Red/Blue/Ethan. Love grows slowly for some people, unnoticed until it’s too late to do anything but give in to it.
Good god, there’s actually more, but I have to sort through them because I have a nasty habit of not naming my Google Docs. So, when I wade through the 500 different “Untitled Document”s, I’ll probably update this.

Pokémon Favourites!
repost, don’t reblog! 💕
FIRST GAME: Red, Blue or Yellow. It was the height of the Pokemania craze in the late 90′s so I don’t actually remember which I got first, only that I ended up with all three over time! I’m almost positive it was Red or Blue though.
FAVOURITE SPINOFF GAME: Stadium or Snap, having played both around my friends house when I was young. Very fond memories! I never had a N64 myself so I didn’t otherwise get to play them.
FAVOURITE EVIL TEAM: Probably Rocket? They’re easily the most grounded and realistic, which I suppose is why the had to up the ante from Gen 3 and on. Otherwise I’m fond of Flare as a result of playing Adam and digging into them.
FAVOURITE TEAM LEADER: Ghetsis or Giovanni, probably. Ghetsis because he’s an absolute bastard, Giovanni because, y’know, Giovanni.
FAVOURITE STARTER: Probably Charizard. I think I was one of Those Kids, honestly! But hey, dragons are cool and I was a kid.
FAVOURITE BOX LEGENDARY: Yveltal! I dunno, I really like Gen 6′s Life/Death thing. That being said, as a kid it was probably Lugia.
FAVOURITE POKEMON: For years it was Kirlia. Now I regularly float between Kirlia, Gardevoir, Weavile, Haunter and Misdreavus.
FAVOURITE PROFESSOR: Oak!
FAVOURITE RIVAL: Blue or Silver because they were dickheads. Nemona because she’s fun and wants you to get stronger.
FAVOURITE CHAMPION: Eh? I’ll be honest, I don’t really have one. I like Diantha though! And Lance.
FAVOURITE CHARACTER (if not already covered): Not sure honestly! That’s difficult. Shotout to Roughneck Kirby with his Cleffa though. Love the reference lmao.
FAVOURITE STORY: Tied between 1/2, BW, SwSh and ScVi. Probably ScVi though because of the way they pulled it off. Love it.
FAVOURITE MUSIC: ScVi’s final boss theme easy, that shot right up for me. Galar’s tourney theme slaps too.
FAVOURITE REGION OVERALL: Paldea in scale and scope, Galar because its PokeBritain and Johto/Kanto because nostalgia.

— thinking abt the oaks and . god they're really not a great family huh . ( ramble under the cut ;) )
— like -- individually , they're fine . professor oak is just a forgetful old man . daisy is just a sweet older sister . blue is just a former bully that grew up . but when they're meshed into the same household , with the added knowledge that daisy and blue's parents are out of the picture , shit really starts to hit the fan .
— oak , whether he liked it or not at the time , got stuck raising daisy and blue , for whatever reason . and while we have very little information about oak and daisy's relationship , we DO know a lot about his and blue's -- and it's evidently not a very positive one . hell , the first game STARTS with oak forgetting his grandson's name . if blue wins the first rival battle , oak doesn't congratulate him at all ; he only comments on red's loss being disappointing . when he appears at the league after blue's defeat , the only person he congratulates on becoming the champion is red , despite showing up in the first place for blue -- despite blue being the champion first . and to top it off , he says he's DISSAPOINTED in his grandson for losing to red . even blue comments on oak's obvious preference for red early on . it makes sense , why he became so hostile towards his former best friend -- red gets so much positive attention from his grandfather , while all blue gets is criticism ( assuming he even remembers his name ) . i'm not saying oak doesn't care about him , but god he isn't good at showing it .
— in a way , this also can explain daisy's behavior , too . she's the older sister . if oak wasn't around , she had to be the one to watch blue . she had to be the nice one , the support system , to balance out oak's ... oak-ness with blue . by the time of r/b/y , she was probably the only real support system blue felt like he had . she also tends to baby blue a bit . in hgss , she refers to him as ❛ my kid brother ❜ despite him being a registered hall - of - famer and gym leader . when giving the player his number , she states that ❛ he can be overly confident , but he still needs company ❜ and tells the player when he's available , without thinking to ask him if he's okay with that . like a parent forcing their kid to hang out with the neighbors . and she's RIGHT , he does need company , but the way daisy goes about it feels like she's used to seeing him as the little kid that needs her help , and of course she's going to help him ! that's her job , right ?
— all in all , not The Worst family in the series by a long shot . but still not healthy , and no one seems to talk about it .

Pokemon Journeys Episode 114 Review
Tumblr media
Pokemon Journeys Episode 114. Let’s review:
A very lovable episode imo.
The whole episode felt like a huge step-up from episode 68, improving on that own episode’s faults and taking advantage of the opportunities in hand. For example, not only is Torkoal back into fucking existence (though, where he and the other missing mons were last time was never explained, naturally), but the interactions between Ash and his old mons felt more meaningful, like Ash trusting his fire-types to train Gengar and having more close conversations with Infernape instead of just “a hug, a few second-battle, and then goodbye”. We also finally had interactions between Ash’s current and old mons and many of them were very wholesome to see, like the fire-types pretty much accepting Gengar as one of their own (bonus points in that he has a similar backstory to Charizard, Infernape, and Pignite).
Paul’s return was a wonderful and welcomed feature. It’s great to see his character development still in-tact (like caring for his Pokemon and being on respectful terms with Ash and Infernape) and wanting Ash to continue to prove himself by challenging him with the same species of Lance, Cynthia, and Steven’s aces. It was nice to hear him become a Gym Leader as well, but why does Dawn have to be literally the only person before Journeys to not have gained anything?
Other things I liked was Infernape just picking up and carrying Professor Oak, Palpitoad actually show a personality by being all cuddly with Goh (let’s face it, the dude was a blank slate in Best Wishes), the episode not cramming down the same Muk and Tauros jokes down our throats, Electivire being friendly around Pikachu and Grookey, and just seeing many of Ash’s older Pokemon return after years of absence for some of them. I do wish we had a few more interactions, like maybe a third mon training Sirfetch’d with Sceptile and Oshawott and at least one Pokemon actually talking with Dracovish. And also, really guys? Not even a mention of Tracey? Does he and Ash just purposefully try to avoid each other whenever Ash comes over? This has been going on since Best Wishes!
I also don’t like the big group photo at the end of the episode. I’m sorry, but it just pales in comparison to the one taken at the end of Best Wishes. For one, the position and composition are all horrible as everyone is too bunched up to each other to the point many mons are almost completely hidden behind other mons, worst examples being Leavanny, Sceptile, and freakin’ Dragonite. Secondly, who ever drew this shot must’ve forgotten about size, as evident by Kingler. Third, the other side of Donphan is clearly missing, Krookodile is about to eat Talonflame, and Tauros got a trim on his mane. And lastly, it just doesn’t show as much love and personality as the Best Wishes pic, so it’s really as fun.
Oh well, I’d still give this episode a 9/10. Very wholesome to watch. And next week will start the beginning of the Masters 8 Tournament, so let’s fucking go~
(and no, I’m not tagging all of Ash’s Pokemon, just the ones that stuck out)

So, this is going to need a bit of explaining. I have no clue if this is the right website to post this sort of stuff, but I feel like this is the best way to archive it.
This blog is going to be an archive of a bootleg Pokémon game I played as a kid. I haven't had the original cartridge from all that time ago (I'll explain later on), but I lucked out and managed to track down a replacement and dumped the ROM data onto my computer so I can emulate it. This specific bootleg has fascinated me ever since I first laid eyes on it as a kid, so I'm very excited to potentially be archiving what might be a piece of lost media. Here's the title screen.
Tumblr media
Yeah.
This is going to need a bit of backstory, so let's set the scene. My first interaction with this game was when I received the cartridge on my 13th birthday. My parents were always struggling financially, so they'd often go through bargain bins or leaf through yard sales to find stuff for cheap. I was a big Pokémon fan, so my guess is they thought it was a new game and wanted to surprise me. I don't have a picture of that cartridge, but it was nothing spectacular - a bare Game Boy cartridge with "Pokemon Green Tree" written on it with a sharpie.
I was excited - you'd be excited, too, if you just got your hands on a Pokémon game you didn't even know existed - and started. My memory is pretty vivid, but I don't remember many finer details - I mostly remember what made me stop playing.
I started the game, and it just cold cut to the interior of the player's house. No cutscene, no writing your name, just an abrupt cut to your house. I wandered around the town, found the game's equivalent to Professor Oak's lab, and got my starter. It was the fire one, some kind of large fish with a plume of fire coming out of its forehead. The rest of my playthrough was just me aimlessly wandering around - I remember the maps being really narrow and directionless. I defeated the first gym leader and found myself in some kind of desert. I distinctly remember the music cutting out, which started to freak me out. Finding a cave, I went in, and found this... indescribable thing. Not in a pretentious Lovecraftian way - I literally don't really know how to describe it. It looked like some kind of shapeless form, or blob, covered in long pipes that winded around. If I had to say what it reminded me of, my first guess would be a giant, anatomically incorrect human heart. I remember approaching it, and the screen faded out, before fading in to a panning shot of what looked like a field of crystals, each one with a distorted reflection in it. My description is overselling this experience - there wasn't really anything that would actually seriously upset anyone in there, but the visual of those stretched faces in the reflections was enough to get me to have a full-blown panic attack as a child, and I ended up hiding the cartridge somewhere in my mom's closet. I haven't seen the cartridge since, and chances are she sold the cartridge.
That was my first ever exposure to this bootleg. Nowadays, of course, with the power of the internet and a lack of better things to do, I decided to snoop around. The game, Pokémon Green Tree, is of course, a bootleg, coming from a Japanese company of ambiguous name, as all information about the game's copyright is simply changed to "Pokemon", as you can see on the title screen. This bootleg is, interestingly enough, a surprisingly sophisticated rom-hack of an existing Game Boy game that was never released outside of Japan.
Tumblr media
The picture you're looking at is a fan translation of the original game. The name roughly translates to "Circle Beast", and it is commonly referred to by the game's surprisingly large cult following as "Ringbeasts", which is the name I'll be using because it sounds kind of cool. From what I can gather, Pokémon Green Tree is, for the first quarter of the game, unchanged from Ringbeasts outside of the name, the title screen, and a few text boxes changing "beasts" to "Pokemon". Apparently, ontop of that, another release of Green Tree has another change - inexplicably, in a few maps, there's just... crucifixes. No shit.
Tumblr media
As far as I could find, this is the only difference between the 'updated' version and the one people are more familiar with, which is the one I'm currently emulating. No changed dialogue, no different designs... just random crosses scattered across the map. According to the people I could contact who've played this updated version, most of the changes were in the manual and box art, which contained many assorted religious anecdotes and references. Who would've figured? Apparently, these games were mostly sold in low-income Christian bookstores to stay under Nintendo and Game Freak's radar, and the updated version was made so the game would appear more fitting where they were sold - something similar to the fate of Menace Beach on the NES. The prospect of this is honestly kind of funny to me, given the amount of hatred the Christian community had towards this franchise around that time period. That, and the idea of there being an updated patch of a bootleg of a bootleg of Pokémon that just has giant crucifix-shaped mountains everywhere. Delightful!
That's all of the information I could gleam from my extensive investigation (IE a few Google searches). Hearing all this talk about the manual and the box art, I wish I actually owned either - the cartridge I got my hands on came loose. Just a blank cartridge. It isn't even green!
Tumblr media
Getting back on-topic, Green Tree is unchanged from Ringbeasts outside of a few word and sprite changes, but from what I could gather, the game drastically changes near the middle. Nobody said anything specific - just rambling about how unexpectedly detailed and weird everything got after how cutesy the early game was. Unfortunately, I couldn't find any screenies of the later parts of the game, so I'm going in blind.
I'm really excited to see this game through. Ever since I found out the cartridge went missing, I've been itching to get my hands on it again, just to see what this weird bootleg has to offer. Here's hoping this stupid blog does its part in archiving it, because God damn, information about this thing is scarce.
I'll update the blog after I play for a while. Expect lots of screenshots!

team aqua wants to start a pokemon burgarly at rustboro city trainer school. Archie made his weedle string shot the principal and a grunt made his gengar use hypnosis to make the vice principal fall asleep. The students have to leave their classrooms and hide somewhere else, because team aqua own pokemon can headbutt the door even locked ones down with no problem. A group of a few students ran down this dark hallway which no one been to since the 1930s due to ghosts taking over and even the archie and the other team aqua grunts are too scared to go down there. Luckily, one of the students lets call him "draken" has a sliph scope which will let him see any ghosts identities. "Aren't the school gonna call some ghost exterminators and defeat all the ghosts and renovate this hallway?" May asked the group. "Oh yeah, we overheard some adults one time talking about it during our lunch break" Brendan said remembering. The sick character's stomach gurgled, "hungry? I got some leftover non spicy cheesy takis I don't wan-" May's sentence got interrupted when she know the sick character wasn't hungry. "Still planning on using your sliph scope draken? Because he is about to be sick and needs to find the bathroom in this hallway" May asked draken. "No, does he wanna use it just in case ghost pokemon show up?" Draken asked. "Yes, also he can use my mudkip for now because it's attacks can work on ghost pokemon" may asked as may's mudkip went up to the sick character. Draken hands over the sliph scope along with a flashlight to the sick character. "Good, luck!" Brendan said looking at the old dark hallway shaking a little. "I I am not going down that dark hallway!" A team aqua grunts nervously said. "Let's just steal these kids pokemon instead" the other grunt says while cracking his knuckles while walking up to may, brendan and draken. "We got this!" May told the others. Meanwhile, the sick character and May's mudkip speed walked down the hallway. They finally found the males bathroom and the human ran in there ignoring the drawings and writings like on the wall, a crude stick figure drawing of Professor Oak with x's as the eyes and tounge sticking out in red sharpie and the writing saying, "professor Oak sucks", another on one of the toilet tanks was a writing saying, "team rocket, magma and aqua rule" the sick character ignored those graffiti because he can feel the bile rise up to his throat and he was green, he went into a cubicle and started violently throwing up loudly into the old toilet, he hated being this sick with a tummyache. "I hate being sick and my tummy hurts so much!" He cried and he vomited again, the sounds of him reaching can be echoed throughout the bathroom. After he was done and pulled the chain to flush the toilet. He sat on the floor and started to sob silently while his tears dropped to the tiled floor.
Archie: finally! We did it! Now let’s see what the principal has to say to all of us!
Archie uses the weedle strong shot on the principal
Gengar uses a hypnosis which causes him to fall asleep
Dawn: where can we go now?
Brendan: over there lest move!
The students left and went to a dark hallway
May: it’s dark. We should go.
Luna: besides you’re not scared of ghost are you?
Orion: why no. Of course not.
Searcher: 😮‍💨 let’s just go through there…
The gang started to walk through the hallway…
May: Aren't the school gonna call some ghost exterminators and defeat all the ghosts and renovate this hallway?
Brendan: Oh yeah, we overheard some adults one time talking about it during our lunch break
Searcher: ~gurgle~
May: "hungry? I got some leftover non spicy cheesy takis I don’t wan-
Searcher: no thanks. I’m not hungry anyway
May: Still planning on using your sliph scope draken? Because he is about to be sick and needs to find the bathroom in this hallway
Draken: No, does he wanna use it just in case ghost pokemon show up?"
May: Yes, also he can use my mudkip for now because it's attacks can work on ghost pokemon
May: mudkip, can you go with him?
Mudkip agrees and went with searcher
Draken: *hands over the sliph scope along with a flashlight to searcher* good luck!
Brendan: "I I am not going down that dark hallway!"
A team aqua grunt: Let's just steal these kids pokemon instead" the other grunt says while cracking his knuckles while walking up to them.
may, brendan and draken: We got this!
May: let’s fight!
Meanwhile, the sick character and May's mudkip speed walked down the hallway.
Searcher: oh look at that. A bathroom.
Searcher: *the drawings and writings like on the wall, a crude stick figure drawing of Professor Oak with x's as the eyes and tounge sticking out in red sharpie and the writing saying, "professor Oak sucks", another on one of the toilet tanks was a writing saying, "team rocket, magma and aqua rule”*
Searcher: *ignored those graffiti*
Searcher: 🤢 *slams the bathroom door and started violently throwing up loudly into the old toilet, he hated being this sick with a tummyache.
Searcher: I hate being sick and my tummy hurts so much! *vomits again; the sounds of him reaching can be echoed throughout the bathroom*
Mudkip: *asked him if he’s okay*
Searcher: *sat on the floor and started to sob silently while his tears dropped to the tiled floor*
Mudkip: *comfort cuddles him*
Searcher: *manages to calm down* thank you mudkip

Fire Red I
After several hours of figuring out emulators work, I managed to load up Fire Red, and got immediately hit with nostalgia. The house, the mom, everything was just like how I remember it as a kid - with the exception of getting to have a female trainer sprite. I decided to name my trainer after myself, and kick off this challenge with a trainersona. We headed over to Professor Oak and ran into our rival, whom I named Toru (since I didn't keep Red as my name). There, I selected my OG fave starter: Charmander. Man, the OG starters really don't miss, do they? Charmander, Bulbasaur, and Squirtle are all S tier designs, and I love all of their evolutions. Even my least-favorite (Blastoise) is still an excellent and cool design, you know? After naming my Charmander Scorch (just like when I was a kid), and kicking Toru's ass in our first battle, we're off to the tall grass and the wider world. My first several encounters were all Ratatta and Pidgey, both of whom I refuse to catch. Instead, I manage to find a Mankey (who we name Bananas)(actually we find three, Scorch kept one-shotting, establishing his reputation as wanting to be an only child), our first town, and a fight against Toru which I initially lose. We run an errand for Professor Oak, finally beat Toru, and make our way into one of my favorite (and most memorable) locations in Pokemon Red from my childhood: Viridian Forest.

Pokéchronology, Volume I: Yellow
Day 9
Unfortunately, this was another one of those days where I planned to play more, but didn't get around to it because my brain had other plans. I also had a lot of homework to do.
Getting to the end of the day I've decided to call off any additional playtime. I'll have to continue a couple days from now, unless I manage to get some time in at work tomorrow. Sorry to say, I don't have much to write about for this post.
Does anyone even care about Pokémon Yellow spoilers? Ah, whatever. It's easier to just keep up the habit.
Route 15
So this day was all about implementing new training strategies that I've been thinking about, and I was able to do some of that on Route 15. Before that though, I go to the upper floor of the building separating the route from Fuchsia City (I'm sure there's a name for it but it escapes me at the moment) where I encounter that mystery man Professor Oak's Aide. He says he'll give me the EXP. All, better known as the EXP Share in later games, if I've caught 50 Pokémon. Naturally... I'm one Pokémon short.
Guess I'll pop into Route 15 and try to catch something new then. I've seen all the Pokémon here before, but I hadn't caught Bellsprout or Weepinbell yet. I managed to catch the latter after Mycoboss accidentally OHK'd a Bellsprout beforehand (they've got a pretty beefy Attack stat, so even a weak move like Cut does hella damage), named them OOOOOH. Yeah, I really can't be bothered coming up with names anymore. That'll be fun as I move on to other Pokémon games. Later on I catch a Bellsprout that gets named AYOOOOO.
I get the EXP Share, but I decide I don't want to use it. For one, every time you KO a Pokémon you have to mash through a ton of text just because every single member of your team gets EXP when you do, which is SUPER annoying, and for another it actually makes it more difficult to train specific Pokémon on your team. So into the PC it goes. But this is where I ran into another problem.
Turns out it's not just your inventory space that's limited, but even your storage in Generation I. It maxes out at 50 item slots. Since this was going to continue being a problem if I didn't address it right away, I sold a whole bunch of TMs that I didn't plan on using and a few junk items to free up space.
I must say, I'm a little torn about how Generation I games handle items, and thinking about them in comparison to what I know the modern games are like really makes you aware of how these things were a product of their time. Item storage being limited is to be expected to some extent, as the Gameboy is a very simple console with limited capabilities compared to our modern standards. But I didn't expect it to be quite as limiting as it is.
The inability to acquire certain items multiple times is also an issue. Most TMs aren't sold in the Celadon Department Store, which means you get one shot at using them, after which they're gone forever. Even goner foreverer if you later choose to overwrite the move. While on some level I do like the idea that items are limited and you have to use them wisely, and the game does a good job of discouraging you from being a hoarder, it kinda sucks when you're on a blind playthrough and you realize you've locked yourself out of an option because you didn't know what you were doing.
But this is understandable, isn't it? Pokémon Yellow was released during a time when video games weren't yet designed for mass appeal. Less thought was put into making the game accessible for players of all skill and knowledge levels, because it wasn't needed. Heck, if I didn't have any of the Pokémon resources that have been developed over the years, my experience with this game would likely have been very different.
I probably would have found the game frustrating, looking at it through the lens of a child playing it 20 years ago. As an adult with literally two decades of gaming experience under my belt I'm able to grasp mechanics and intricacies very quickly, and I think this means that I'm able to enjoy a game like Pokémon Yellow more now than I would have at the time it was released.
This is all to say that, despite the numerous and noticeable flaws and limitations, Generation I Pokémon is worth experiencing. In my opinion, at least. Maybe if I had come into the game after experiencing later entries in the series, with their added quality of life features and better balancing, I'd be less enthused. But I'd say my experience so far has been a good sign, as from what I've been told, things only get better from here.
Wow, that was one hell of a tangent, wasn't it? Sorry about that. To tell you the truth, there's really not much to cover as far as the rest of my play time goes today, so I padded the post by waxing lyrical about the Pokémon Yellow experience. I mostly just switched up how I fought enemy Pokémon, favoring Mycoboss for Grass/Poison types instead of Miles or Prinzessin. I brought in BIG RAT whenever I could as well, though those opportunities are few and far between and he is STILL getting destroyed by Fury Attacks that just can't help but crit for some reason. Fuckin' Dodrio, man.

A young adult trainer was tasked by Professor Oak to head into Viridian Forest to investigate reports of Pokemon and trainers going missing.
Upon entering the forest, everything seemed normal. There were a few Pokemon just playing in the tall grass, but as she got deeper into the forest and closer to the gate leading to Viridian City,
It suddenly became apparent that the only Pokemon she could see and encounter were Metapod’s, which was unusual, but before stepping into the gate itself leading into the city, she suddenly stepped on something that made a loud crunching noise.
She looked down and screamed. Stumbling backwards, it was a human skeleton just barely peeking out of the tall grass—well, mostly a skeleton as some of the flesh was left—making a horrible stench that also flooded her nose. She coughed loudly.
She wanted out of here so she could report what she found, but soon found herself surrounded by tons of Metapod's all-used string shot on her to hold her in place before a loud rumbling could be heard, and jumping down from up top the gate was another Metapod, but this one looked wrong.
Its shell’s colours were basically all gone, leaving a mostly white body with just splotches of green that sort of resembled paint thrown at a canvas, but that wasn’t the only thing wrong with this thing; its body seemed to be hallowed out, and its internal structure seemed to be hallowed out, leaving only a deep black center filled with teeth lining the sides of its body.
Despite its organs mostly being gone, it still seemingly had eyes, very bright red ones with a more darkened colour. They appeared to be very detailed and showed a dep rage within the pokemon; it appeared this thing, whatever it might be, must have been the leader of this group of Metapods.
It let out some noises that sounded very rough and grimy, which led some of the other pods to go over to the body that she discovered, properly web it up, and pull it deeper into the forest, seemingly to properly dispose of it; she wasn’t even meant to find it.
She stared in horror for the longest time as she watched this happen. She couldn’t even speak or scream, but after a while she regained her composure and yelled out for help and to get this "Freak" pokemon away from her.
The strange Metapod did not like being called a freak. It might have been willing to let her go to tell others about it, but that was the straw that broke any chances of her leaving alive. It soon rolled up into a ball, its body making a horrible cracking noise as it did. It soon spun backwards as far as it could, rolling out right into her face, breaking her nose and busting some teeth in the process. She yelped out in pain.
She was about to scream again when the "leader" made more horrible noises and they covered her mouth up with the string, and then they began to drag her away deeper into the forest. She wiggled around, trying in vain to escape, but the silk was much too strong.
As she was dragged further into the forest, she discovered what had happened to the missing Pokemon. All of them were in the grass; their bodies were decaying, but their heads were absolutely crushed into a fine powder. powder, and for her, where was she being dragged to?
Where was this group of Metapods taking her? She didn’t know, but she soon found out as she found herself put in front of a deep pond. The water wasn’t very clean, seemed dirty, and smelled awful. Soon a loud growling noise could be heard from behind her, and she was pushed into the pond.
She sank right to the bottom, but all the silk melted off her body rather quickly, not being very water Once she felt herself free, she tried to quickly swim up so she could get out of here and run, but before she had the chance, something attached to the back of her neck injected some sort of toxin inside her.
The last thing she saw before everything went completely black was a pink leech like Pokemon draining the blood from her body. She could literally see her blood filling up its body filling it up.
Of course, though only weeks after her disappearance, more trainers would be sent into the forest for the cycle to continue.
