Something that genuinely hits me in the angst feels when I think about it is Neil staying behind when everyone graduates. The kid who was on the run for nearly a decade, who finally found a home and people to run to and depend on. And then one by one, they all disappear. They talk daily, sure, but they're busy with things they don't share anymore or things they can't do together. Neil's left behind with a vacant home and memories with only Abby and Wymack to keep the loneliness at bay. Considering Neil's backstory, I feel like even the addition of new freshmen feels like an intrusion into his home. Neil has nothing to do anymore, why go to Edens on the weekend? With what car? His life becomes exy and studying. Around this time, I think Wymack and Abby start acting more like parents to Neil. Giving him things to do and giving him the stability he desperately needs, in the form of a family that's waiting on everyone to come home.

The film’s basic premise, which sees a woman plagued by dreams of demonic figures that turn out to be real, is culled directly from the Elm Street series, as are significant aspects of the film’s iconography. I NEED A FIC where Nathan and Mary really do love Neil but because of the troubles of their life they send him away to like his uncle or someone in Europe (I love a Brit Neil) and he tries to live a normal life and have fun like a kid but also the Hartford’s and wesninski decide to teach him to fight so ultimately he’s amazing with knives AND guns and speaks the same amount of languages, bc he’s good at it but when he’s thirteen kengo discovers he’s still alive and takes him, then Nathan and Mary need to get him back but PLOT TWIST Neil’s has been psychologically conditioned to think they wanted to sell him from the start and only the Moriyamas can help him.

On the Andrew side, his dad finds him after Andrew comes forward abt his abuse to his social worker and ends up being raised by him, his father is also a mob boss and Andrew’s pretty good with a knife and hates guns (he’s not as good as Neil and thinks that’s super hot) Nathan is like an uncle to Andrew, and finds Neil beautiful when he sees him the first time at a party in Germany, and Nathan instantly disapproves thinking that Andrew would drag Neil into the crime world

I also need Andrew to be totally smitten, Neil to be completely oblivious to his own attraction and attractiveness, I also require the twins and Nicky to be close in their own way, and some GOOD and angst
