Sometimes I sit and wonder about the paralels in AFTG and I go like "Woooow Nora's brain" yk?

So here are some of them:

•Jean and Andrew both having suicidal ideations, being number 3, not showing their emotions on the outside but feeling so much on the inside (AND letting people think they doesn't care), protecting Kevin (and others in general) and not accepting help until the situation is critical.

•Andrew and Riko both being separated from their families at birth and creating one by force, Andrew doing it mostly for others while Riko did it for himself.

•Renee and Neil growing up in mafia/gang enviroment and scaping it, the whole Nathaniel/Nathalie thing.

•Matt and Aaron growing up with neglecful parents and them being the reason of their addictions (to similar things also) and being "helped" with that by Andrew's questionable means.

•Nicky and Allison being shunned by their parents for being themselves, forgetting all the other things they did to make them proud and loved.

•Seth and Neil trying to blend in (in different ways but still), dealing with jelousy and then Seth dying his last year with the Foxes and Neil who thought he was gonna die his first year surviving.

There are much more but I can't think of all of them now and didn't write them the last time I thought about this. For me it's awsome how maybe a little desition, a person, a moment... can turn you in an entire different person and this books show that SOOO WELL!!

If Seth didn’t die, he would have pulled the ‘if you so much as hurt a hair on his head—‘ / ‘break his heart’ the second it clicked in his head that Neil and Andrew were together. Better yet, he would have been one of the first to find out. Seth wouldn’t have found out at the hotel, he would have been lying around at the dorm, maybe hungover and just walked out of the room to spot Neil freezing as he leaves the bathroom. The shower still running. Then seconds later the shower cuts off and Andrew follows.

Why? You may ask. Because the second he heard Kevin’s name that man was flying out of bed to get Kevin tf away from Neil. Seth is in big brother mode second Neil is around and it’s a bonus for him that the people his telling to fuck off/is fighting off, are two people he hates. It’s just that his too late to do anything about Andrew when he realises the relationship and kinda just has to accept it after threatening Andrew and giving Neil a lecture.

when neil stopped referring to himself as ‘neil’ and switched to ‘nathaniel’ i genuinely fell to my knees like it’s actually so poignant how a simple switch in name shows how hopeless neil felt during that time, how he really believed that he was going to die after finally having a chance to truly live

I know Seth’s existence is a controversial topic because he’s so widely disliked but just think about it for a second. I think Seth would’ve grown to like Neil if he hadn’t been killed.

Like. Blood in the locker. Seth would laugh so hard and everyone would be like dude…stop laughing this is serious and he’s standing there like???? Are you KIDDING ME??? Neil is covered in BLOOD and turns out he’s lying about his age and probably so much more and you expect me NOT to laugh?

Neil’s lies would be so amusing to him. Him fighting Riko would be his favourite thing ever. Like in tfc he was so intrigued by Neil roasting Riko on TV, he literally wished he had went with them just so he could’ve witnessed it. I think Neil’s attitude would make Seth laugh so hard because he’s unintentionally bratty and argumentative and he literally can’t keep himself out of trouble. I’m not saying they’d be friends but I think he would love that little striker with an attitude problem that’s all!

if i played exy i would HATE the foxes. oooh look at us, a ragtag team of murderers and criminals, running straight at you on the court with a large stick :) rumour has it the goalie with the aggravated assault charges wears knives under his gear and the little redhead one was involved with fbi :) i think i would simply fake an injury and get benched
