The chilling adventures of Sabrina could’ve been a 10/10 show.
It was dark, campy and creative.
It tackled sexuality, gender identity, sexism, homophobia and transphobia, and to top it off most of the main characters were actually interesting.
Even the mortal storylines at Baxter high were just as engaging as the storylines at The academy of unseen arts… where they studied actual magic and the occult.
And while there were a few small issues that presented themselves in the later parts of the series
the one constant irritation for me throughout all four parts was the entitled, immature, narcissistic, privileged, hypocritical self centered white savior of a main character…

Reference to The Sound of Music in The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina 4.4
When you’re 16 going on 17 and your sweet, adoring boyfriend falls prey to charismatic fascists. In this scene, Roz mirrors both Liesl and Captain Von Trapp’s roles, first begging her boyfriend to pretend he hasn’t found them, then separating herself from the group to protect them. More subtly, Lilith, with her child, reflects the role of Maria, who throughout the scene keeps the youngest Von Trapp, Gretl, either in an embrace or close to her.

Am I making an attempt to rewatch Chilling Adventures of Sabrina simply because Jaz Sinclair and Chance Perdomo are in it and I'm currently obsessed with Gen V?
Yes, yes I am
