GHIBLI GIGGLES
Just some quick tickly drabbles of Studio Ghibli characters. Lol

As Kiki moved hand-over-hand up the ladder on the side of Ursula's forest cabin, the artist came into view, sitting among her many crow friends and drawing their portraits in charcoal...as usual. She was plopped down right on the apex of the roof, with her legs stretched out on either side of her.
"Hey Kiki," Ursula called down, not looking up from her sketchpad. "Just gimme a few minutes here."
"Wow...there are even more crows here than usual," Kiki observed. The young witch found her eyes glancing around at the huge flock in the trees, their feathers coming down like the first snow.
"Yeah, they're gonna be ready to migrate soon," Ursula remarked. "I'm excited to get some last drawings in before they disappear for a while."
Kiki blew a thin black feather out of her face as it rolled down the roof toward her. It came to rest on her fingers, which were still on the top rung of the ladder, where she gingerly retrieved it. She spun it around in between her thumb and forefinger, and a playful thought crossed her mind. Very carefully, Kiki reached up and stuck the feather in the thin space between Ursula's sandal and the bottom of her foot, and it made her friend jump.
“Heheh-Heh! Hey! No tickling. Heh-Heh Ha!” Ursula laughed. Looking down again, she waggled her finger at Kiki, feigning a sisterly sense of disapproval. This made Kiki giggle.
The witch tossed the feather aside and clambered up onto the roof, with a helpful pull on her wrist from Ursula, and no more was said about it.

Splash!
Frothing bubbles crashed down into the massive basin, filling the room with steam. The hot herbal rinse did little to chip away at the layer of earth caking the tub, but Yubaba always insisted on waiting to clean them until they were too dirty to use. Cheap.
Lin groaned and attempted to scrub the bath’s inner walls with her sponge, without getting wet. Her new assistant, a fair-haired and full-figured 20-something called Chi, had already given up and taken the plunge.
“Ugh. This is no use. I’m gonna have to go in.” Lin turned down her pink uniform until she was in her purple underclothes, held her nose, and hopped into the bath like a frog. Her foot slapped down into a thick layer of something that resembled ectoplasm. When her palm sunk down into the mud, her whole body tensed up and shivered.
“...iiick…I’m gonna need a bath too after this,” Lin grumbled, pulling her hand from the water and allowing the filth to slough off.
“Well, I can help you with that!” Chi cheerfully chimed in. Giggling excitedly, the enthusiastic assistant reached in from behind and scrubbed Lin’s back.
“AH! Ha-Ha Ha-Ha!” Lin suddenly bellowed. The sponges were working over her sides, and it made her jump. “Cut that out, we have to work!” she laughed and splashed the soapy water at Chi.
Taking advantage of her foe’s momentary blind spot, Lin shoved her hands under the water and squeezed the squealing Chi’s waist. The two splashed one another for a few more moments…a fleeting bit of joy amongst the labor…and then returned to work in a much better mood.

Fio Piccolo dangled by her wrists from the wing of the Dabohaze, her legs swaying in the breeze. One little slip, and she’d drop fifty feet into the water. The seaplane wasn’t going fast or performing any kind of intense acrobatics, but the danger still felt palpable as wind whisked through her hair.
“Now, Miss Fio, when Porco sees you’re missing he’ll come for you, then we’ll gently let you off and have a proper, honorable dogfight! Like you showed us!” the Boss of Mamma Aiuto roared to her over the noise of the propellers.
“It’s not very honorable to kidnap a young woman to make one of your fellow pilots fight you! You morons should be ashamed of yourselves!” retorted Fio angrily.
“But we’re never going to hurt you! That’s honorable, right?”
The rest of the Mamma Aiuto gang craned themselves far outside the cockpit (on Fio's right side, from where she was hanging) to stare at her, big grins popping out from under their bushy mustaches. The pirates all chortled and exchanged darting glances at each other, like little boys in front of a girl for the first time. One of them, seemingly dared by the others, sheepishly reached out toward her.
"Duhh...gawsh, you sure are cute, Miss Fio," the dumb ogre gurgled, his nose pinker than usual as he tried to brush her hair out of her face.
"Hm! That is not how you speak to a fellow sea-plane pilot and engineer! You show more respect!"
To be completely fair to the pirates, Fio was adorable when she acted defiant.
"Cootchie cootchie coo," he spoke as if talking to an infant. Stretching out his index finger, the pirate reached into the billowing folds of her plaid shirt and gently scratched underneath Fio's armpit. Suddenly, a huge, silly smile stretched across her face and she began to wiggle in the air.
"Haha-Ha! Ha-Ha Ha-Ha! What are you doing?! Ha-Ha Ha!" She had a bright, bubbly laugh that could have cracked even the stoniest heart. Fio couldn't believe it...the guy honestly thought he was flirting with her.
As she struggled to pull herself up, all the while laughing and thrashing midair, the gang members couldn't help but look at her...from their vantage point, it was quite alluring to watch.
"Heh-Heh Heh...you were right, Miss Fio; your butt IS bigger than it looks," another pirate droned stupidly, reaching out to grab her too. His beefy fingers squeezed between her ribs and slid deep into her pants pockets, the better to pinch her hips.
"Haha-Ha! Heh-Hey! Don't look at my b-hutt! Ha-Ha Ha-Ha Ha-Ha! If y-hoo...if you d-hon't stop tickling me, I'll...Ha-Ha Ha-Ha! I'll fahall!"
"Huhuh; wow, she's so pretty."
“HEY YOU IDIOTS! Don’t touch Miss Fio! We love and respect her very much on this plane!” Boss roared.
All at once, the playful tickling stopped. His minions groaned in disappointment and hung their heads as they slunk back into the cockpit.
“You sure have a funny way of showing it. Humph!” Fio huffed.

Howl never shied away from his avian transformation, but all the same, he had a sense that its presence caused Sophie discomfort. So he was surprised when she asked him to take this shape for her.
She'd come home that day saddened, dwelling on the past and her family, and her worries of future war, once again. Her young eyes couldn't hide the weary, reminiscing old soul behind them. After changing into her pajamas, she eased herself under the sheets next to her love with a heavy sigh.
"Have you had a hard day?" he whispered to her, running his fingers through her hair. She rested her head on his chest and sighed again.
"I just...I need a hug," she told him. "I've been so worried about how things are going to go."
Howl pulled her tight.
"There, there," he said. "You have nothing to worry about."
"Howl...could you change into a bird again? When we held each other that way...I…it’s strange, but I don't think I'd ever felt so comforted."
With a series of low, rustling cracks, like the popping of rice cereal, black feathers slowly protruded through Howl's skin. Wings snapped out of his spine and shook to life, scattering plumage around their bed. His arms and wings and chest all smothered her, cradling Sophie in a blanket of inky down. The soft plumes drew themselves across her cheek, as if wiping away a tear that hadn't yet come. All of her worries and cares melted away.
However, she hadn't considered that the times before, when she'd hugged him this way, she'd been practically entombed in stifling Victorian clothing. Here, her shoulders, arms, legs, feet, and neck were bare, and the feathery snuggling began to make her snicker.
"Hmmm...Hmhm-Hm, Hmhm! Heh...Hoho...please be careful," a soft plea carried out of her closed lips. Her eyebrows drew back into nervous happiness.
"Heh...what? What's wrong?" Howl asked her, gliding one of his forearms along her side. The feathers brushed under her arm and she involuntarily squirmed.
"Oho no, please, please don't, please, I'm so ticklish," she begged him, trying in vain to stifle her pretty laughter.
"Why do you do that? Why do you always cover your mouth when you smile?" Howl was playful but slightly more deliberate now. His wings rustled and caressed her calves and the soles of her feet. His fingertips pried the soft creases between her ribs, and feathers cuddled their way against her ears. It was gentle, soft, but still set her nerves alight.
"Hmhm-Heh! Heheh-Haha! Ah Ha-Ha Ha...noho please don't! It tick-hlhl-hlhles! *gasp* Heh-Heh Heh!" Sophie buried her face in his chest plumage to stop herself from laughing. Howl just chuckled, and before Sophie could open her eyes, the feathers had magically gone from his body.
"Better?" he asked her.
She exhaled happily and reached her arm up to cradle his neck. Almost ready to drift off to sleep.
"Mmmmm....yes....thank you."

Lisa's time beneath the waves with Granmamare and Fujimoto and all the denizens of the nursing home seemed to stretch on for days. Time itself moved like the water around them...calm, still, teeming with life but at its own leisurely pace. She did worry about her son and Ponyo, but continued reassurances from the ocean goddess calmed her nerves. So enthralled was Lisa by the constant swirl of marine life around her that she often wound up halfway out to sea before someone stopped her.
"It's funny, how you can look right at the sun from under here," she noted, staring up through the liquid ceiling high above her. As she stopped to look, a sea turtle slid against her calves and gently carried her off her feet. She laughed and rolled backwards through the green sea. Suddenly, Lisa felt a fluttering sensation against her neck. There beside her was one of Ponyo's many embryonic sisters, staring with her massive fishlike eyes.
"Well hello there, little one. Can I help you with something?" Seemingly unprompted, the tiny creature wriggled along Lisa's neck and down her side, and her body twisted away.
"Ooo, Heheh! Don’t tickle!”
"My children like you," laughed Granmamare from underneath her jellyfish dome. No sooner had she spoken than dozens upon dozens of the red minnows honed in on Lisa as bees to a queen, their fins and noses pecking at her all over. They carried her up off the ground in a torrential red cloud, casting pockets of light across the sea beneath her as they swam. Some of them paddled through her shirt, under her arms, against her belly, some squirmed around under her toes.
"Ah! Hoohoo, Heh, Ha-Ha Ha-Ha Ha-Ha! Haha-Ha! GAH, it's like being tickled by a million fingers at o-honce! Ha-Ha Ha-Ha Ha! Let me go!" Lisa burst into joyful laughter and twisted around in her swirling red prison.
“Heheh…alright, girls, you’ve said hello enough,” Granmamare called out.
The legion of fish obediently guided Lisa back to solid ground and swam to the safety of their mother’s arms. She was still laughing, but the sight caused a slight pang in Lisa’s chest. The young mother wondered as she had before when she would get to hold her own son again, and how long it would be before he and Ponyo swam to safety.

After a long day of experimenting on her plants, Nausicaa was more than ready to turn in. In her stone tower chamber, she sighed and plopped down on the bed. The princess tossed her helmet aside and unfasted the straps on her blue leather gaiters, but stopped just short of actually taking them off. The fruitless labor had begun to weigh on her soul, and more and more often she caught herself stopping to dwell in a haze of insecurities. Sensing her down mood, her little fox-squirrel hopped up onto the sheets and nuzzled warmly against her side. With a sad smile, Nausicaa picked him up and leaned back against her pillow.
"Hmm...what do you think, Teto? I don't know if we'll ever be able to grow plants like we used to," she looked directly into his shiny green eyes as she spoke softly to him. He squeaked, trying to assuage her worries. "I feel like I'm just flying in circles. There's gotta be something I'm missing."
She placed him back down on the bed beside her, and the little fuzzball darted around to various spots on the sheets as if he were chasing a light.
All of a sudden, Teto burrowed himself into her opened gaiter and slid down inside her right boot. The princess lurched and forcefully gripped the sides of her bed.
"NAAAHHHH!! Ha-Ha Ha-Ha Ha-Ha! N-ho, get out of there! You’re tickling me; Ha-Ha Ha-Ha Ha! Hnhn-Ha! Ahh, Haha!" Nausicaa laughed helplessly and bucked around, but she made a valiant effort to not flail too hard...she didn't want to hurt Teto! The little beast was scurrying around in the hollow space above her foot. His long tail wrapped around her like a coil, its every soft hair torturously dusting her sole...her toes...her ankle. His tiny claws scritched as if he were digging a hole, making sure to rake across the inner arch of her foot with manic precision. Nausicaa had no idea, until that moment, how ticklish she really was.
"Ah-Ha Ha-Ha! Teto, stop, Ha-Ha Ha!"
Thankfully, it was only a few more moments before he dashed out of her boot again and hurried back toward her lap. Teto sat there right between her legs, staring directly at her, as if expecting a berry or some other treat. Nausicaa slowly pulled her foot back toward her body and reached again for the straps on her covering. She just giggled at her confused little pet, who cocked his head toward her.
"Come on Teto. Let's get ready for bed."

"You sure you want to do this? Your painting looks so beautiful already," Kiki asked. She and Ursula had spent the morning on the floor of the latter's forest hut, flecking impressionist strokes of aqua colors all over a massive canvas. They'd played with dozens of shades and hues and were covered in speckles. And now, both were up to their elbows (literally) in deep purples and a swirled marble crimson.
"Of course! This was the whole idea," answered Ursula, pulling her arms from the large tray of paint. "I've always wanted to try an abstract composition with hands. Now come on, let's do it!"
Before long the canvas was splattered with palm prints of all colors, a forest of fiery arms stretching through a pond of blue and green. Ursula excitedly wiped her brow, flakes of dried pigment scraping from her forearm.
“Whew! Oh, I’ve got an idea! Kiki, put your foot down on the painting; I want to trace it.”
Obediently the witch girl dropped into a chair and pulled off her right shoe. She delicately pressed her bare sole against the canvas…ew. The fresh paint felt cold and a bit sticky. Kneeling, Ursula pulled a paintbrush from its bath in a nearby purple can. The bristles had nearly become crusty by then, but it was still usable enough, and she started to draw around Kiki’s foot.
“Ah HAAA-Ha! *gasp* Ha-Ha Ha-Ha Ha!” When the brush caressed along the inner curve of her arch, Kiki squealed with laughter and couldn’t help pulling her foot away. She accidentally flicked a dab of wet paint with her toe, and this single drop landed squarely on the tip of Ursula’s nose. An awkward silence.
“Ha-Ha Heh-Heh Heh! Wow, I didn’t expect that. Ok, you gotta hold still,” the artist girl laughed and tried to resume her tracing, making a more concerted effort to move the brush outward. Kiki bit her lip stubbornly and managed to stay motionless for a few brief moments, but when the fine little hairs traced around the back of her heel in an arc, she cracked again.
“Heh-Ha! *gasp* Aha Huh-Huh Ha-Ha Ha-Ha! I can’t! I cahan’t!” the poor witch girl whined, face buried in her hands, and yanked her foot off the canvas again. Ursula was clearly loving this.
“Heheh! Alright, you wanna be part of my masterpiece or not?”
“Um…y-yes,” Kiki giggled, nervous.
With one hand, Ursula held a firm grip on Kiki’s ankle, and with the other, she resumed.
“Now keep your foot still!”
“Heheh-HUH! *gasp**squeak* I’m s-HORRY, it…it tickles!” Kiki was laughing so hard she could barely speak. Her eyes covered in embarrassment, she doubled over in the chair and pulled her leg as much as Ursula’s grab allowed. It seemed that her artist friend was taking a long time to do something as simple as tracing a foot. When the brush’s wet bristles slid just around and between her toes, Kiki thought for a moment that she was going to die from laughter. But after a few more uncaring strokes, the tickle torture was over.
She fell back into her chair, hand clasped to her stomach, desperately sucking air into her lungs. The line meant to represent her footprint was all squiggly and wrong and badly proportioned. But Ursula didn’t seem to mind.
“There; now was that so bad?” she teased. "Don't worry, I can fix it. We'll try something else."
“Ok…now it’s your turn,” Kiki insisted. It was the only time, in the entire span Ursula had known her, that the witch girl seemed even vaguely threatening. Just a tiny bit.
“No way, I’m not doing that,” laughed Ursula. "I'm the artist, you're the assistant. If someone here has to get tickled to death, it's you!"
Nearby, inside a smaller tray, there laid a fluffy paint roller with a shag-like texture, perfect for splattering a rough hand-drawn look on a much larger scale. It was dipped in a mustard hue that, on reflection, may have been a nice highlight for Kiki's red-flecked arms. Thinking fast, Kiki grabbed the tool and vigorously began painting her friend's bare sole. The roller quickly slathered the bottom of Ursula’s foot in a coat of yellow, and it made her toes wiggle. Ursula tried to escape, but she suddenly felt a hand gripping her right ankle, and Kiki's left leg wrapped around her own like a pretzel.
“Hihih-HEE-Hee; Heheh-Heheh Heh! Hnhn-Heh! *gasp* Hehey, heh-heh-hey! Th-hat’s not fahair!” Ursula giggled and flailed but failed to pull her ankle out of the leglock.
“Come on, you have to add your print too!” laughed Kiki, struggling to hold her friend down.
“Heh-Heh Ha-Ha Ha-Ha! Ahalright, I’m sorry, Heheh-Hee! Ha-Ha Ha-Ha!” Ursula attempted to toss a paint tray at Kiki, but the young witch had great reflexes, and it simply cluttered to the ground behind her. She needn’t have bothered, though - the painting stopped a moment later.
“Tickle-tickle-tickle-tickle!” Kiki couldn’t disguise the fun she was having. “It’s not all the way yellow yet, just a sec! Heheh! Aaaand…done!”
Her leg free, Ursula slumped back and didn’t even notice at first that she’d rested her foot on the canvas, leaving a smeared yellow print behind. The two could only burst out laughing.
“There, are we even?” inquired the painter with a grin.
Kiki smiled.
“Hm! Yeah…we are.”

It wasn’t always the easiest task, but Sheeta and Pazu still found ways to visit Laputa and its lone remaining intelligence: the groundskeeper. There was very little they themselves could do in caring for the plants or fox-squirrels, but the ruined kingdom had a hold on their hearts that they couldn’t shake. The critters always tittered with excitement on their arrival, and the robot always offered a flower. This was all it could do, but the gesture was still nice. And each time it tried to learn more about its visitors.
The gardening robot reached down slowly, as if it were still trying to understand the concept of “humans.” Its long metal finger grazed Pazu’s stomach, and the boy jumped back with a start.
“Whoa, what’s that about?” he asked, somewhat nervous.
“I think he wants to know what it’s like being ticklish,” Sheeta laughed.
Sadly for Pazu, the gardening robot was curious, and a learning machine. Its gears clicked and whirred, processing the neural receptors’ actions. It reached down again and scraped Pazu’s stomach once more, this time more deliberately.
“Hhheheh! Kn-knock it off!” Pazu shuddered at the cold touch and shoved against the robot’s hand, pushing it away. “Geez, what’s wrong with this thi…”
Pazu did a double take…out of the corner of his eye he noticed that Sheeta’s face had changed. She was wearing the goofiest smile he’d ever seen on her, and her hands were up close to her face. She let her fingers hang down and tantalizingly began to wiggle them like the legs of a spider. Pazu’s eyes widened.
“Wait…NO-” he tried to protest, but before he knew it he was on the ground, pinned by Sheeta’s legs, straddling his hips. Soon she was tickling him all over and giggling herself silly.
“H-Heh…Heheh-Haha! *gasp* Ha-Ha Ha-Ha Ha-Ha! Sh-Sheeta, Ha-Ha! Not my ribs, please!” Pazu opened his mouth wide and began to laugh. His voice was scratchy and too deep for his age, but Sheeta just found this endearing.
“Awww, Pazu, look how ticklish you are!” Sheeta was so excited. She smiled nonstop and roughly wiggled her fingers up and down Pazu’s ribs and sides. They poked and squeezed firmly until Pazu finally couldn’t take it anymore, and with a powerful thrust of his leg he threw her back into the grass.
A vengeful fire flickered in his eye. With a face full of mischief he dove on the Laputian girl and viciously began to enact his vengeance.
“Ha! Haha-Ha! Oh no, Pazu, stop; Ha-Ha Ha-Ha!” Sheeta had already been laughing so hard, being tickled just put tears in her eyes. She pulled her elbows in to cover her belly, but it was no use.
“Haha! Yeah, how do you like that? You tickle me you’re gonna get it!” Pazu teased her.
“Ha-Ha Ha-Ha! Ok! Ok, uncle! Ha-Ha Ha!”
After a moment, she was free. The girl tried to catch her breath…all around them was still. She could barely stop giggling. He didn’t know what possessed him to do it, but at that moment, something seized Pazu by the stomach, and he leaned in and quickly kissed her cheek. Both of them smiled at each other and hid their blushes behind a veil of laughter.
"See, that's called 'tickling!'" Sheeta smiled at the robot, who was still gazing at them steadily.
There was a moment where it looked as if the giant was pondering, trying to understand the emotional reaction. Slowly, it raised its hand and dragged its finger back and forth across its own stomach. No response. Had it the ability to truly think, it might have considered that the two were playing a joke on it. Tickling is not real, it would have thought. See how the humans laugh even though I am the one being touched.
So it usually went. Nothing much happened anymore in Laputa. It was a cozy little biome hurtling through the sky where Sheeta could retreat back into her soul. But it was enough, for both of them.

(Ok I know this one isn’t actually Studio Ghibli but it might as well be. Besides when else am I gonna come up with a blurb about this?)
Mary flipped eagerly through the spell book on her floor, engrossed in its luminous pages. All morning she’d been experimenting with spells, under the watchful (well, mostly disinterested while occasionally glancing in her direction) eye of Tib the cat. Magic, as it turns out, was a hard habit to kick. She’d tried levitation and bubble blowing and flower growth and even a spell for instant donut creation. Peter didn’t understand any of it, but he was thrilled all the same.
“Hmm…a spell that causes laughter?” Mary read allowed.
“How does that work?” inquired Peter.
“Well let’s take a crack at it.” Mary placed the tome down on her white bed next to Tib, who blinked slowly as if to say “Will you stop already?”
Mary waved her hands and spoke the incantation, and the book began to glow. From deep within its pages four ghostly purples arms appeared out of nowhere, and Mary and Peter gasped. All of a sudden, the arms stretched out into the room and began to tickle them. The two collapsed on the ground in hysterics, rolling and kicking, but the hands were ghosts - they couldn’t escape.
Just as it seemed the two were doomed to be tickled until the flower’s magic wore down, Tib absentmindedly swatted the spellbook, and it fell off the bed and snapped shut. Almost instantly the hands dissipated, Mary and Peter stopped laughing, and they were able to breathe again.
“Whew…Ha…ugh…thanks for that, Tib,” Mary heaved. “Let’s never use that one again.”

A list of fandoms I'm in (in no particular order, will probably be updated regularly. Some fandoms are more intense and some are more casual. Depending on the fandom, I could go on and on about fandom topics for HOURS. Let's get into it!)
Harry Potter, Disney, Marvel, DC comics, Miraculous Ladybug, Avatar: The Last Airbender/The Legend of Korra, Star Wars, Literature, Winx Club, Nintendo, Minecraft, Little Witch Academia, Voltron, Coraline
Details:
Harry Potter- I got into Harry Potter in 7th grade and now I am the resident expert in my family and in my friend group. I read all the books, watched all the movies (notably the British version), and I've seen the Fantastic Beasts films as well. I've also read Tales of Beedle the Bard (the Warlock's Hairy Heart was traumatizing) along with the Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them textbook (plus an updated edition). I also read The Cursed Child script and while I mean no hate to anyone that liked it, I hated what it did to the canon. I am in Hufflepuff with some Ravenclaw tendencies (I took the Pottermore quiz 3 times, 2 out of 3 I got Hufflepuff, the other time was Ravenclaw). I had a pottermore account and I was so upset when it got converted to the Wizarding World page. I cosplayed Hermione in 7th grade complete with British accent and even monologued as her for a talent show (classmates and teachers would recognize me as the Hermione girl all the way through high school). I was obsessed and I still love it even if J.K. Rowling has gone off the deep end on Twitter... yeah... my favorite character is Hermione but I also relate to Luna
Disney- there's so much that goes into the Disney part of my fandom list. I'm excluding Marvel and Star Wars from this part as they were originally separate entities before Disney got the rights to them. I have seen almost every animated Disney film ever and often use random movie quotes in conversation. My favorite villain is Maleficent, my favorite princess is Ariel (followed by Belle, Rapunzel, and Anna). I relate to so many of the characters. I'm not sure who my favorite Pixar character is though (I love Violet, Sadness, Dory, and Piper (from the short)). My favorite Disney fairy is Fawn. My favorite characters overall are Ariel and Stitch. Disney is definitely on the list as one of my biggest obsessions. My favorite movies are Lilo and Stitch, the Little Mermaid, Inside Out, Alice in Wonderland (original), and The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh.
Marvel- I mostly get my Marvel exposure through the MCU, other movies, and animated TV shows. I have difficulty reading graphic novels so most of my comic book knowledge comes from friends, posts, or wikis. My favorite characters are Spider-Man, Captain America, Peggy Carter, and Scarlet Witch. I also like Gwenpool, Deadpool, Spider-Gwen/ Ghost-Spider, Venom, Squirrel Girl, Daredevil, Mantis, Gamora, Black Widow, Iron Man, Thor, Loki, Bucky, Black Panther, and most MCU characters. Out of the X-men I really like Professor X, Wolverine, Mystique, Magneto, Nightcrawler, and Quicksilver (either version- MCU or Fox).
DC- this was the franchise I was more familiar with growing up but again, graphic novels aren't easy for me to read so most of my knowledge comes from information pages about the comics or from tv/movies. My earliest experience with DC came from the 60s Batman series, with Catwoman and Robin being my favorites. I also watched the Wonder Woman series from the 70s and a handful of CW shows, my favorite of which being the Flash and Arrow. I also managed to watch all 5 seasons of the Teen Titans Cartoon Network series from 2003. With that being said, my favorite characters are Wonder Woman, Catwoman, Flash, Batman, Nightwing/Robin (Dick Grayson), Green Arrow, Starfire, Raven, Harley Quinn, Poison Ivy, and Alfred. I also like most of the bat family, and when it comes to CW I LOVE Caitlin Snow/Killer Frost and Cisco.
Miraculous- this is one of my guilty fandoms but since this is Tumblr I'm not too worried about it. I love Marinette and I relate to her on an astoundingly deep level (minus the stalking and obsession with potential lovers, that's creepy). If I had a miraculous, I'd probably want the Ladybug one, but the Cat miraculous, fox miraculous, and snake miraculous are good too. My favorite character is Marinette/Ladybug.
Atla/Tlok- I jumped on the avatar bandwagon just when it was starting to get popular, so I managed to get through the series before the memes took over everything. Same with Tlok, although i couldn't completely avoid the spoilers for that when i started it. I've been wanting to get into the comics because of the short story comics I've read, they seem easier to read than superhero comics. My favorite characters are Aang, Katara, Ty Lee, Iroh, Korra, Jinora, Asami, Suki, Appa, Momo, Naga, and Pabu. I also like Sokka, Mai, Zuko, Lin, Kuvira, Varrick, Zhu Lee, and Azula. I feel really sorry for her and while I understand that a redemption arc would undermine the importance of her corruption arc, I still wish she could have one. I would love to be a waterbender or an airbender... maybe a waterbender raised in the air nation? Obviously, being the avatar itself would be awesome. The show has taught me a lot of great lessons and put a lot of stuff into perspective for me.
Star Wars- oh boy, talking about this one is dangerous. I've seen firsthand the horrors of the Star Wars fandom but then again no one will probably see this anyway so... I've seen all the movies and I remember watching the clone wars series with my brother when I was younger but we fell wayyy behind and it's taking us forever to get back into it. I've also seen the Mandalorian and quite enjoyed it. I like the prequels unironically, in fact, the prequels are some of my favorite movies. I especially like how they switched from lightsabers being heavy weapons to light weapons that can be used for all kinds of tricks that make for epic battles like the ones we see in Revenge of the Sith. The sequels were fun to watch but when I would analyze them along side their predecessors, I came to the conclusion that, for me, they were good to watch but did not do anything good for the rest of the franchise. My favorite characters are prequels/clone wars Obi Wan and Anakin, Padme, Ashoka, Leia, R2D2, BB-8, R4-P17, the Mandalorian (Din Djarin), and Grogu. If I had a lightsaber I'd want it to be blue, but when I was little I got a purple one like Mace Windu because it was closer to pink and I was into pink at the time. I still have that lightsaber and none of my friends have a purple one so it's one of my flexes. I feel like I wouldn't make a good jedi because of attachments being forbidden, so I'd probably become a grey jedi.
Literature- this is a broad term I use to cover all the random books and stories I liked reading and have studied. So we have Shakespeare (Macbeth, Much Ado About Nothing, Romeo and Juliet), The Great Gatsby (bored while reading, loved to analyze), Grendel (HATED reading, loved to analyze, Grendel really needed a hug and a friend), The Crucible, Fahrenheit 451, Dark Life (+ the sequel Riptide, both are by Kat Falls good reads, sci-fi and kind of dystopian), The Once and Future King
Winx Club- I think the show is trashy but I still love watching it. I haven't been able to get through season 6 though and I hated what they did with season 8 and Fate: the Winx Saga. My favorite character is Bloom along with Stella and Flora. I prefer rai to nick. My favorite transformations are magic winx, enchantix, and harmonix. My favorite member of the Trix is Icy followed by Darcy. My favorite Pixies are Chatta and Lockette.
Nintendo- mainly Pokémon above all else, followed by Animal Crossing. I have also played (mostly as player 2 or just never beat or watched my brother play) mario games, legend of zelda, pikmin, and kirby. Games I haven't played but I just liked the characters/the lore and probably learned about through Super Smash Bros. are Fire Emblem (Lucina mostly), Metroid (Samus and baby metroid), and Kid Icarus. Pokémon is where I'm most knowledgeable but you'll most likely beat me in battle. I am however great at MarioKart and I always destroy my friends at it. Terrible at fighting games though.
Minecraft- I like playing this casually. Sure, I'll play for hours and hours on end for months, but I prefer to stay exclusively in peaceful when playing Survival mode and I don't make anything too ambitious in Creative mode. I like to write, so sometimes I'll make a rough layout of the settings of my stories in different worlds. I prefer interior design and decorating when building, and when in survival mode I focus more on mining and gathering while my brother works on ambitious building projects. I just bring him the raw materials and furnish the interior when he finishes the outside.
Little Witch Academia- this takes up a smaller portion of my fandom list because there were only 2 seasons and a couple movies and I watched the whole series years ago, but I still enjoy it. At one point I wanted to cosplay Akko, and I loved the nod at Twilight through the Nightfall series. And I especially liked the twist that Shiny Chariot was Ursula, which I suspected for some time. The blend between magic and technology was fun to see, but I was so sad that the series ended RIGHT when Akko finally showed signs of magic proficiency. Also, Shiny Chariot being the reason Akko couldn't do magic was heartbreaking.
Voltron- this takes up a much smaller portion of my fandom list mainly because I haven't even finished it. I know hardly anything about Transformers aside from the Bumblebee movie so to me I just watch it for fun. It reminds me of power rangers, star wars, and star trek, and then there's just a transformer insert. But I don't know anything about Transformers so maybe the show is more rooted in canon than I think.
Coraline- I am in a love-hate relationship with Coraline. I have watched the movie several times, I've read the book, I've watched hours of theories and analyses on youtube, I've watched behind the scenes videos by Laika, and I even wrote a script for a fan film parody. I am amazed at how original the story is and how impressive the stop motion animation is but I also have recurring nightmares from it and it scares me/creeps me out to the max. If anyone asks what my scariness limit is, it's definitely Coraline.

“Chloe x Halle member Halle Bailey is ready to become part of Disney’s world.
The R&B singer has been tapped to play Ariel in Disney’s next live-action adaptation of “The Little Mermaid.” Although director Rob Marshall has spent the last couple of months meeting with talent, insiders say Bailey has been a clear front runner from the beginning.
“After an extensive search, it was abundantly clear that Halle possesses that rare combination of spirit, heart, youth, innocence, and substance — plus a glorious singing voice — all intrinsic qualities necessary to play this iconic role,” Marshall said in a statement.
Bailey is joining a cast that includes Jacob Tremblay and Awkwafina, while Melissa McCarthy is in talks to play Ursula.
“The Little Mermaid” will incorporate original songs from the 1989 animated hit as well as new tunes from original composer Alan Menken and “Hamilton” creator Lin-Manuel Miranda. Miranda is also producing the film along with Marshall, Marc Platt and John DeLuca.”

Harry Styles in Talks to Play Prince Eric in Disney's Live-Action 'Little Mermaid'
Harry Styles is the latest actor to go under the sea.
The singer-turned-actor is in early negotiations to play the iconic role of Prince Eric in the studio’s live-action remake of The Little Mermaid.
Mermaid, being directed by Rob Marshall, is in the throes of casting, recently finding its Ariel with R&B singer Halle Bailey of Chloe x Halle fame. Melissa McCarthy, Jacob Tremblay and Awkwafina are also in talks to be part of Disney’s world.
Eric is the human prince who catches Ariel's eye. The mermaid saves the prince from drowning and then makes a deal with the sea witch Ursula to exchange her voice for legs in order for a chance to make him love her. He is key in the final battle against Ursula.
The casting of Styles and Bailey show the studio’s intent of making the music a central component of the remake. Interestingly, the character of Eric performed no songs in the 1989 original. However, that was remedied in the 2000s Broadway musical, with Eric now performing several, including two solos.
Styles was famously a member of boy band One Direction who then struck out on a successful solo career. He made his acting debut with Dunkirk, Christopher Nolan’s World War II drama that grossed over $526 million worldwide and collected several Oscars.
The animated 1989 original won best original song and score Oscars for Alan Menken. For the new iteration of the fairy tale, Alan Menken will update his score, and will compose a new song with lyrics from Lin-Manuel Miranda.
An early 2020 production start is being planned.

The upcoming live-action remake of Disney’s ‘The Little Mermaid’ has just announced who will star in the leading role – 19-year-old singer Halle Bailey will be Ariel.
After an extensive search, director Rob Marshall said that it was “abundantly clear that Halle possesses that rare combination of spirit, heart, youth, innocence, and substance – plus a glorious singing voice – all intrinsic qualities necessary to play this iconic role.”

Bailey, who said on Twitter that it was a “dream come true,” forms part of the R&B duo Chloe x Halle, who first started by doing covers of pop songs on YouTube. Their debut EP, Sugar Symphony, was released in 2016 and contained the hits ‘Drop’ and ‘Fall.’
The pair also made cameo appearances in Beyoncé’s Lemonade visual album and were her opening act for the European leg of The Formation World Tour. ‘The Little Mermaid’ will be Bailey’s feature-film debut.

According to Variety, the live-action Disney remake will “incorporate original songs from the 1989 animated hit, as well as new tunes from original composer Alan Menken and “Hamilton” creator Lin-Manuel Miranda.” Miranda is also producing the film along with Marshall, Marc Platt, and John DeLuca. Also in the cast are Jacob Tremblay and Awkwafina, while Melissa McCarthy is in talks to play Ursula.
People took to Twitter with mostly positive reactions to the casting, with many highlighting the significance of a young black woman taking on the role of Ariel. However, although we should really just ignore them, there were some trolls too.

Fully-grown adults getting all riled up by the ethnicity of a frickin’ mermaid. Beyond ridiculous, isn’t it? The girl was cast on talent and suitability for the role, why people have to politicize everything to death is beyond me. Shouldn’t we just ignore the trolls and the negativity and just look forward to what should be a great movie?
Let us know what you think about this frankly ridiculous subject in the comments below.

The Little Mermaid‘s new Sebastian is excited about the new live-action film.
Daveed Diggs, who originated the role of Marquis de Lafayette and Thomas Jefferson in Hamilton, spoke to PeopleTV about his upcoming role in the Disney film.
“It’s great,” Diggs, 37, said while at the Screen Actors Guild Awards red carpet on Sunday evening. “We’re sort of just getting started over there, too.”
Diggs is starring in the film with Halle Bailey as Ariel, Melissa McCarthy as Ursula, Awkwafina as Scuttle, Jacob Tremblay as Flounder, Megan Fox as Ursula’s human form and Idris Elba as King Triton.

Of the cast, Diggs told PeopleTV, “It’s just a great group. It’s really nice to be part of something… That’s the first movie I can remember being aware of before it came out my being excited to go to the movie theater.”
Diggs recalled seeing the film with his father at the historic movie palace Grand Lake Theatre in Oakland, California.
“I just remember a big line of people waiting to get into the theater,” Diggs said.

Disney announced in July 2019 that Bailey — one half of the sister duo Chloe x Halle — was cast as Ariel.
Diggs’ friend and Hamilton creator Lin-Manuel Miranda is working on new music for the live-action film. In November 2016, Miranda — who named his firstborn son Sebastian — told Vulture he’s “intimidated” to work on the movie, especially because of why Disney chose him.
“Basically they were like, ‘There’s no bigger fan of this movie than you, and no bigger public supporter,'” Miranda said.
The 26th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards are airing live Sunday starting at 8 p.m. ET on TNT and TBS.

Halle Bailey Will Play Ariel In Disneys Live-Action Little Mermaid
She’s got gadgets and gizmos aplenty and, now, Halle Bailey is getting more. The Chloe x Halle member and Grown-ish actress just secured her first lead role in a feature film as Ariel in Disney’s The Little Mermaid live-action adaptation.
After the news hit the press, Bailey took to Twitter to react. “Dream come true…” she wrote, from the official Chloe x Halle account. She also attached an updated image of Ariel.
The movie will be directed by Rob Marshall, who previously helmed Mary Poppins Returns and Into the Woods for the studio, and it will feature the 1989 animated feature’s original music by Alan Menken and Howard Ashman, as well as new songs from Menken and Lin-Manuel Miranda.
Marshall praised Bailey in a statement announcing the big news. “After an extensive search, it was abundantly clear that Halle possesses that rare combination of spirit, heart, youth, innocence, and substance — plus a glorious singing voice — all intrinsic qualities necessary to play this iconic role,” he said.
Bailey’s casting is the first official news direct from Disney, but multiple outlets have reported that Melissa McCarthy is in talks to become the poor, unfortunate soul cast as iconic villain Ursula, Jacob Tremblay is being eyed to voice Ariel’s trusty fish sidekick, Flounder, and Awkwafina is vying for the role of Scuttle, Ariel’s above-the-waterline seagull friend and human-things aficionado.
Luckily, we won’t have to wait too much longer to learn whether there’s truth behind all the rumors. According to the studio, we can expect some more verified casting news in the coming weeks.

A dirigere Rob Marshall.
