How I got the ChatGPT A.I. to admit Katsuki is in love with Izuku

Uhh... My friend has got me onto AI chat recently, and yesterday I was messing around with it, because I wanted to see if I can get A.I chat to come to the conclusion of bkdk canon, if I tell it additional context it doesn't know because it's cut off point is September 2021 and things between bkdk hadn't progressed too far at that point.

One thing to note: it constantly reminds me that it doesn't "have an opinion" it just forms objective analysis on the characters and the events. So I try to evolve this objective analysis as I went along the list of events that lead to Katsuki's death to see if a single detail of it might change it's 'objective analysis' on whether they will become canon.

The AI has a limited ability to use new information you tell it to string together an updated verdict. So that's what I did. And I used more and more details of Katsuki's death to Shigaraki as the context for the question. Because that's what convinced ME BkDk would become canon. As I was telling it details, I felt like I was pretty much only getting knockbacks. Until I finally had a single success. I also asked it the "kiss" question for those invested in a bkdk kiss. :)

However, at the end I did manage to find out why I got that one success, and the response it gave me is CHEFS KISS. So I will try to explain our conversation as best I can with some screenshots. This is long but, hopefully it's an interesting tale to read! This experiment also made me realise A.I. chat is crazy intelligent at communication.

So I got a negatory right off the bat and think: Since it only knows events up until a certain date, maybe I can tell it about some events that happen and see how it views Katsuki's and Izuku's behaviour?

I asked it what chapter it has access to and it said chapter 326. So it at least knows about the bkdk apology. (But it never factors this moment into it's analysis)

It also repeats this line a lot "It's ultimately up to Kohei Horikoshi." Which is true, I should probably try to re-do our conversation at some point and tell it it doesn't need to repeat this point, because it does become repetitive. Depending on your question it'll end it's answer with a "it's up to the reader interpretation." or "it's up to the creator."

I corrected it that it was chapter 322, but it only remembers details you tell it in your current chat. It, as an AI , can't learn from you for it's interactions with others. Oh well. Probably for the best...

"Midoriya forgives him and the two share a hug." This take is interesting. I never really thought about that. For Izuku they very much have a "there's nothing to forgive" dynamic, but in Katsuki exposing himself and letting down his walls, Izuku definitely felt safe enough to let his own walls down too and responded to Katsuki by apologising for his own behaviour, wanting to be close to Kacchan - stumbling towards him as he was passing out.

The anime clearly shows Izuku wanting, or needing a moment of intimacy with Kacchan that he's never had before, and Katsuki feeling the same way, catches him. So maybe there's forgiveness in that, in Izuku realising Katsuki was finally telling him it was okay for Izuku to be by his side, and that he wants him there.

Another way you can make sense of the AI's answer is that Kacchan needed to have Izuku's forgiveness, despite there being nothing to forgive for Izuku. And Izuku senses this, so he steps towards him to hug him or be closer to him and tell him it's all okay, but his fatigue cuts his desires short and Kacchan, noticing those desires, as he notices everything about Izuku *swoon*, holds him up. Yeah. I like that one too! Talking to AI about bkdk is a fun brain exercise, I'm not gonna lie.

I ask the AI if I can tell it more details of bkdk relevant to "will it become canon" and it replies that it will do it's best to provide it's objective analysis as it learns these new details.

It misunderstands some things such as when events happen but I find that kinda irrelevant to what I was doing, so don't mind these mistakes.

Btw, if I cut off the ss early, it's only because it's saying bkdk being canon is still vague/unknown, and the decision is for Horikoshi Kohei. This can be repetitive to read, so I cut it out. Like I said I'll probably re-do this conversation where I fix some of it's errors/clarify my context better.

It's not biting yet, so I tell it to give me an objective analysis considering the new things I say, and it understood this.

Then I test it:

Good, it can recall previous things I've said in the chat.

remain platonic." (Then it goes into another spiel about Hori being the decision maker.)

At least it said it was possible their relationship "could develop into a romantic one." So I gave it a little positive feedback :P

It's answer remains unaffected... so I go further into what happens.

It doesn't bite again. But I like how it says that he feels a sense of responsibility towards Izuku. That pulled on my heart a little bit...

But with my next context everything changes.

Turns out Katsuki getting up to "impress" Izuku was this AI's tipping point. It's got the wrong idea about "protecting Izuku" but it's also not wrong (which I clarify now and again later) Anyway, Katsuki wanting to be strong to impress the Izuku who loves him for never giving up, tipped this AI's scales towards romance, it would seem lol.

I dramatically clarify that Izuku is not at the battlefield, and ask if this changes it's mind about it's previous analysis. Spoiler alert. It doesn't.

I tell it more context about how Izuku isn't in time to save Katsuki and what happens to Katsuki: How his quirk evolution scares AFO inside Shigaraki, and ultimately is the cause of his heart exploding when he takes a blow to his chest. The vision in the white realm. His regret of not getting All Might to sign the card, and his memories of Izuku when he first got it. And the way he died, but I also told the AI that it is assumed he will be brought back to life.

I also mentioned (image count maxed out sorry, so I gotta type this):

"Meanwhile, we have some panels of Katsuki thinking about how much his body hurts, and reminiscing about that being the path Izuku walked down. He reaches out to the reader on the page, thinking the words. "Hey... Izuku... Can I still catch up to you?"

It ignores most of the details I told it here, but just adds in that Katsuki's strong emotional connection gave him determination to keep fighting and his quirk awakening. I really liked that. Because that's how I see it too.

Like when I got to the end of chapter 360, I was reminded of this scene in Sailor Moon S where Usagi is completely beaten but doesn't stop trying to transform into Super Sailor Moon, even though she doesn't have the chalice anymore. That was the first time I realised, this fight between sAFO and Katsuki had a vibe of Sailor Moon. And then that feeling hit me again when Izuku arrived and I made my 367 comparison to Sailor Moon Stars. Since then other bkdks have posted/talked about their own comparisons between BkDk and Sailor Moon/shoujo tropes. It felt very vindicating that others could see this about them too. ^_^

So it doesn't know what direction the series will head in, but it at least acknowledges that these events can be viewed as romantic. That's far better than your average mha fan, if you ask me... LOL

I wonder if I had worded this better and said "exploded heart" It would have gave me a different answer.

Bonus: So for fun just now, after rewording my question (a few times) for clarity, I finally got a pretty relevant response.

Anyway, going back to where we left off, I had just told it about the volume cover... and then I went into the topic of Gentle and La Brava showing up in the manga not long after Katsuki died. I misquoted Gentle (oops!)

So Gentle and La Brava are basically what is known in Japan as a "baka couple" that dotes on each other and describes their love for each other in great amount of detail - what I like about this answer is it's saying that by juxtaposing the baka couple with BkDk, who stay vague and barely define their feelings for each other ever, it highlights the tension and ambiguity going on between bkdk even more. I can also get behind this reasoning for it and add it in my La/Gentle meta. Wow, bot you're helpful!

Bonus: Just now, I tried to fix my mistake and rewote the question again and had to generate it's answer twice for this one. Good Bot! This, I can accept.

This is the only time I've regenerated any answers! I only took it's first answer this whole convo. But out of interest I'll probably regenerate more answers in future to see what other opinions it can formulate about a subject. It probably can come up with a wide range of perspectives, but only focuses on a very limited one for it's answer ^^

I like that it can identify that BkDk are having these same romantic tropes that Gentle/La Brava are talking about. AI Chat is amazing. Moving along...

At this point I'm feeling pretty content with our conversation so far, and I decide to ask it one more controversial question bkdks are quite passionate about:

A decent answer. I interpret this as "It's possible for a kiss, if Hori knows how to pull it off right." So maybe this is good news for BkDk Kiss enthusiasts! I'll be happy with a loving hug or a kiss, I don't mind at all, as long as they're canon at the end! lol :)

And now we come to the very last thing I say to it. I was happy to engage with an AI about bkdk, but something was bothering me.

Over the course of our conversation, the AI has told me "It's up to author." multiple times about whether bkdk will become canon... However, there was one time it said something different, and that my context "further supports the idea that Katsuki has romantic feelings for Izuku."

So I ask it to clarify one more time what it meant by that, and it slowly writes out this response:

WOW. What an answer. It blew my mind. "wants to be the best version of himself for him." This is some impressive stuff! ALSO THE BOT WAS NOW CALLING KATSUKI'S BEHAVIOUR FLIRTATIOUS?

But now I wasn't sure, I've never seen the bot say stuff like this. I wanted to clarify what behaviour it meant. Like whether it had misunderstood something I said about the way Katsuki died. But I had a feeling it was talking about Katsuki's tsundere behaviour! And so I asked it what it meant, and the most amazing thing happened...

The answer was written very slowly compared to before, as if the bot had to scrape a lot of information to form a well written response, and this is what it said!:

WITHOUT MY PROMPTING IT HAD BASICALLY CALLED UPON KATSUKI'S TSUNDERE BEHAVIOUR FOR IZUKU THROUGHOUT THE SHOW

I COULDN'T BELIEVE MY EYES.

HIS COMPETETITIVE NATURE?

HIS PROTECTIVENESS TOWARDS HIM?

HIS ///JEALOUSY// OF OTHERS GETTING CLOSE TO IZUKU ??? ARE YOU KIDDING ME RIGHT NOW???

HOW DO YOU *KNOW* ABOUT ALL THIS, AI-SAMA?!!! I SCREAMED READING ALL THIS. Even most bkdks don't really talk about Katsuki being jealous of others getting close to Izuku??? Wow. I was VERY impressed.

This answer was so different to everything it's told me before. The AI actually understands Katsuki as a character, and combined this understanding with my new information about him getting up to win for Izuku.

On a very surface level, it understood that Katsuki wanting to impress him in this case, is a core feature that's apart of Katsuki's overall behaviour towards Izuku and associated them together. Which meant that for it's answer, it could draw on Katsuki's other behaviours in it's knowledge bank, viewing them in whole. And it recognised that despite everything having gone wrong for him and knowing it was futile, Katsuki still had the determination to stand up and win for Izuku and impress him anyway, which especially made this an action of Katsuki's love towards Izuku that the AI can acknowledge as being about more than just mere friendship.

(Wew, that was a mouthful! Hopefully it kinda makes sense? I hope?)

And that is how I got an AI Chat to agree with us. A.I Chat is a bkdk, confirmed. Neeee, AI-sama?

bkdk thirst. one of my favourite things in the worlddnsjjans. I feel like katsuki would get so cocky after collage it’s unbelievable, but I also fell like he would be much more calmer then he was in high school cuz izu recommended him anger management and therapy, while on the other hand, izuku would still be a calm sweetheart, but ! if you push his buttons enough he will let his inner bakugou from high school out and he would be sooooooo mean 😵‍💫😵‍💫😵‍💫

I imagine that izu and suki would be into those girls that are very shy and awkward in the beginning but once they get comfortable they are the total opposite ! so just imagine this.

it’s a normal day for izuku and katsuki, they just saved a bunch of civilians from a villain and now they’re surrounded by a bunch of paparazzi asking them questions about the battle and trying to take pictures of them. there are a lot of fan girls in the crowd, wanting izuku and katsuki to sign they’re merch of them and what not.

as izuku and katsuki are answering the questions from the reporters something in the crowd catches izukus eye. it’s you. you’re in the crowd with his shirt on and a dynamite plush in your hands, coming closer and closer to them as you wave at them. by this time katsuki has also noticed you too, and is waiting for you to come up to them.

now that you pushed yourself through the crowd of paparazzi you manage to throw yourself into they’re arms and give them a hug. of course, the reporters know who you are ; I mean.. everybody knows who’s izukus midoriyas and katsuki bakugous girlfriend by now.

as you’re busy hogging your men all to yourself you notice another reporter approaching you. then there is this switch inside your head that just turned on by itself. it has been a very loooong time since you teased izu and suki and this seems like a perfect opportunity to do it ; I mean.. what better way to piss off you’re pro hero boyfriends than to embarrass them on national television. it’s also a bonus that you’re not wearing anything under this shirt.

the reporter now approached you, putting the microphone up to your mouth and immediately started asking you questions.

,, ahhh miss y/n it’s so refreshing to finally see you back with your boyfriends on the tv ! tell me, what was running through your head when you were watching your boyfriends fight so hard for the country again ? “

you smile at the reporter who was waiting for you’re answer, while izu and suki were behind you, ready to listen to every word that’s about to come out of your mouth. you were so ready to piss them off, and what better way to do it than to talk shit about the person who they’ve been idolising since they were kids.

,, well I have to say that I was worried for they’re safety but I knew they were gonna pull off ! they are the no.1 and no.2 hero for a reason right ? and I have say, they are always trying they’re best and they’re doing a much better hob at it then the previous no.1 hero.. right ? I mean, don’t get me wrong ! all might was good and all that but.. he just wasn’t that good you know… izuku and katsuki are much stronger than him after all, wouldn’t you agree ? ever since he retired he wasn’t really doing much for the town let alone the whole country ! and he looks so funny when he’s not using his quirk ! might as well call him bone thug by now ! am I right !? “

the reporter gave you am awkward smile as you bursted into laughter. you felt izukus hand grip you arm that he was holding ever since the interview started, you also felt katsuki staring daggers through you as you continued with you’re sweet laugh. but.. izuku had to cut off your laugh and try to make the situation a little less awkward.

,, well I wouldn’t really agree on that one baby. all might was my and kacchans inspiration since we were kids and he was also my mentor, I wouldn’t be here right now if it wasn’t for him “ izuku gave you a sweet smile but you knew that it was all bullshit. you saw it in his eyes. behind that look was the urge to rip off your leggings and spank you right there on the spot. but will that look stop you from teasing them ? nope.

you opend your mouth again but this time you weren’t even looking at the reporter. you were staring dead into izukus eyes.

,, pftt ! whatever, isn’t he like 80 by now ? he’s so old he should be in a nursing home by now ! you know what scratch that ! he’s already one leg in the grave - “

you felt an another grip, but this time on your waist. it was katsuki. he was looking at you like you were his prey amd he was a monster that’s about to swallow you whole without chewing.

,, don’t you think that’s enough baby ? we should get home now and relax after such a long day yeah ? “

you bit your lip at his comment because you knew that you three were gonna do anything but relax when you get home. it was also helping that your nipples were getting hard at the moment, it just meant more embarrassment. the reporter gave you a smile once again with a thank you amd walked off. you three ignored the rest of the reporters that wanted to interview you guys.

when you got into the car there was nothing but pure silence for the first two minutes. but izuku finally decided to cut it off.

,, you had you’re little fun didn’t you doll, hm ? “ izuku asked. but his voice wasn’t as sweet as it was just a few minutes ago. no. this time it was dark, full of venom. but you were not gonna give up now, you were determined to make them so mad that they’re faces turned red.

you were cut off by a sound off moaning and globing, coming from katsukis phone. that shut you up real good.

She looked at the young blonde boy beside her who was busy in the glaring contest with her son.

What may be the news you may ask that had her so spooked?

Izuku, her lovable, responsible- the biggest fanboy of the no. 1 hero- son had gone out and had started dating the current no.1 villain (V/n). And the way he was he was defending him as if he were some king, she couldn't understand just what happened to her bright son to turn to that path.

Never mind that she had to make him realise what he was getting himself into.

Yes and she was positive once he saw her point of view he would realise what the hell he was doing. And surely katsuki would help her. She turned to him and pleaded silently with her eyes and fortunately he seemed to get the message and slightly nodded his head.

Izuku knew this would happen one day. He predicted it would go this way. But never would he imagine that Bakugou would be the one to find out first. But he guessed it's not as surprising. After all he was the first one to find out about one for all.

Though he didn't expect him to just straight out go and tell his mother. He knew this was just his way of being worried about him? or so he thinks.., but he loved (M/n) damn it! Why couldn't they just understand that. So what if he was a villain? (M/n) loved him all the same.

And this type of love isn't rational,

Moans echoed around the room. The green-haired couldn't help but let out a sob as globs of tears run down his face. (M/n) thrusted widely into him. He had izuku in a mating press as he hugged him and changed the angle of his thrust to aim at the greenettes prostate.

"(M/n)!! That's enough!! Your killing her!" Izuku yelled out trying to stop the ____ haired man from killing the poor girl who had tried to flirt with him.

"Hmm, how about...No. " He said with narrowed eyes directed at the greenette. He was holding the bloody beaten girl by the neck, hovering in the air so she was face to face with him.

"I don't like sharing my property you know" he said to the barely awake girl. It seemed she was trying to say something but (M/n) didn't gave her a chance to do so as he crushed her neck with his bare hand. The sickening cracked echoed in the alleyway accompanied by a horrified gasp.

" What? Did you think that just because you know your mistake I wouldn't kill you? That I would spare your pathetic life? Don't make me laugh..No one and I mean NO ONE touches what's mine." (M/n) said with a crazed chuckle and smirk as he talked to the now dead body of the girl.

Honestly it didn't matter to him if the girl would have asked the boy out or whatever she wanted, it was just an means to the end for him. He had to make sure Izuku stayed in love with him so he could get everything he wanted from him, and the other reason, well he was simply in the mood to kill. It was a golden opportunity to kill two birds with one stone. And through his observation of the greenettes behaviour in the next few days, he knew he succeeded.

Izuku knew he shouldn't feel this way. But he couldn't help it. He didn't knew how in the pits of hell did he developed such feelings much less for a villain too.

But when he heard you talk like that, claiming him as yours, and calling him your property...he didn't knew what happened but something in him snapped. And suddenly he didn't mind that there was a dead body right next to his feet. That a pool of blood was forming around it, reaching dangerously close to his shoes. He didn't mind that it stained the boots of his UA uniform, as he approached you and kissed you deeply.

Since then you noticed how he turned into an obedient little puppy whenever you were even a little bit possessive of him.

And oh~ you can't wait to use it to your advantage.

okay i'll be honest.

For the bkdk ask thingie, I'm thinking of various times katsuki blows up at something/someone and then izuku just like touching him(hand on his shoulder or something) and katsuki just deflating and causing everyone else immense confusion.

Bonus point if they're not dating (yet)

This little ficlet was fun to write! I hope you enjoy it. It's from Ashido Mina's POV. She calls him Kats because I said so.

“What the fuck did you just say to me?” Kats drops the pan he was washing into the sink with a loud ‘clang’ and spins to face Todoroki, hair standing on end like the angry little Pomeranian he is. Mina sucks in her smile, relishing the drama from her perfect vantage point on the common room couch. If only she had some popcorn.

“I said,” Todoroki drawls and leans back against the kitchen island, stoic as always, “you can’t expect to rise in popularity polls if you don’t accept help fro—“

“After that, you pretentious-ass mutherfucker.” Kats looms over Todoroki, suddenly appearing much taller despite them being the same height. (Kats’s totally shorter than Todoroki without his stompy emo boots.)

Todoroki bends backward, his candy-cane hair tickling the countertop behind him, probably avoiding the spittle forming at the corners of Kats’s feral grin. Poor guy. He tries so hard, but he can never predict what is and isn’t going to set off blasty boy’s explosive temper, not like the Bakusquad can. That, or he riles Kats up on purpose and then plays innocent. In that case, Mina just might have to get to know Mr. Icy-Hot a little better.

“Say it again, I FUCKING dare you!” Kats’s palms spark. Oh, day-um. It’s been a while since he’s let his quirk go off outside of training and on the battlefield. Todoroki doesn’t look scared, but Mina’s a little scared for him. Or, at least, she fears for his beautiful, shiny hair which is in danger of being singed off at any moment.

“Kacchan . . .”

Midoriya emerges from a corner of the kitchen that had been hidden from Mina’s view, still in his All Might pajamas at 1:00 PM on a Saturday. What a bean. He sets his Bisexual Pride mug on the counter and places one hand on Kats’s lower back. Kats stiffens. Mina holds her breath.

“I know how it sounded, but Shouto didn’t mean it like that.” Midoriya soothes his hand up Kats’s spine, and he straightens up, allowing Todoroki the room he needs to side-step out of the spit-zone.

“I have errands to attend to, so if you don’t mind—“

“You’re on thin fucking ice, half n’ half,” Kats pokes Todoroki in the center of his chest, “so don’t try and act buddy-buddy the next time we—“

Midoriya squeezes the back of Kats’s neck, and Mina swears to god, he goes limp as a dish towel. And is that a blush on Blasty’s cheeks? What is going on?

“W-we . . .” Kats stutters. Stutters. “Th-the next time we have a team-up mission.”

Todoroki scoops up his bowl of cold soba and strolls away like nothing happened. An oblivious cinnamon roll or an evil mastermind. Either way, bless him.

Mina peeks over the back of the couch at Kats and Midoriya as Todoroki leaves the common room. Suddenly the spying she’s doing feels a lot more like, well, spying. There’s something different about the two 'problem students' alone together, especially Kats. His posture’s more relaxed, but even from across the room, Mina can see nervousness in his eyes.

Midoriya gives the back of Kats’s neck one more squeeze and his shoulder a firm rub before picking up his mug and making his way out of the kitchen. Kats watches him leave, and yes that is definitely, absolutely, 100% blush on his cheeks. No way!

Mina hugs a throw pillow. During first year, she’d posed a crack theory to the Bakusquad (minus Kats) that Blasty’s asshole behavior towards Midoriya was all just gay panic. She’d gotten shut down then, but could it be? She’d been right all along?

Kats delicately traces his nape where Midoriya’s fingers had been. And then he heaves a giant, lovestruck, deliciously pathetic sigh and crumples all the way to the floor where Mina can no longer see him.

There’s no other explanation. There can be no denying it. Bakugou Katsuki has a big, fatty crush on his childhood friend-turned-rival, Midoriya Izuku. Mina bites her fist to avoid shrieking with delight. She knew there was more to the volatile chemistry between those two! Kiri and Denks are gonna get the ‘I told you so!’ of their lives. All Hail the Alien Queen!

Something thunks. Probably Kats’s head on a cupboard. Mina takes the opportunity to high-tail it out of the common room before Kats can stand up and see her. If he knew he’d been caught simping in HD, who knows what would become of Mina’s luscious curls without Midoriya to defuse Blasty’s explosions?

Once safe in the stairwell, Mina whips out her phone and furiously creates a new group chat:

'Operation: Bother Blasty in front of Broccoli and watch Blasty simp for BroccoliJUST TRUST ME YOU HOES <3'

#bkdkapology party (fandom history! 11 March 2023 - 12 March 2023) - cd, tag, Deku's VA and more

Just a small recording of our bkdk fandom on twitter and the trending of the #bkdkapology tag!!!

This happened just after episode 23 of season 6, where the class works to get Deku back, and Bakugou apologizes for everything he had done.

The tag was a nostalgic one, initially used in 2021 when the chapter originally came out. Here is an example:

You can still see the most popular tweets from 2021 using the tag #bkdkapology when you click on popular ones, after searching.

At the time I am not sure if the tag itself trended, but it was a popular one.

@/Meylovesbkdk on twitter suggested to celebrate the adaptation of the apology with the tag #bkdkapology, and when the episode came out it quickly trended, with people retweeting and tweeting and using it and celebrating (AND CRYING!).

People shared amazing fanarts in the tag, polls about who sighed when Deku fell into Bakugou's arms (the majority voted Bakugou), memes, pictures, screenshots, tears and crying reactions and so much more.

Two important additions that were often shared in the tags were the back-cover of the opening, apparently drawn by Eve and the interview by Deku's VA.

Eve is the singer of the season 6 opening "Bokura no". The back of the cd was not revealed until now... the realease (3/22) is the same number of the Bakugou apologizing chapter of the game (322), and shows an illustration of Bakugou and Deku staring at each other (drawn by Eve himself).

The song "Bokura no" reminded people of Bakugou's apology and feelings since it came out, with the back cover confirming that the singer/author was really thinking about them when he wrote it.

A lot of people were also contributing with amazing analysis here on tumblr, so if you want to read about the use of "you" by Bakugou in the apology (and other scenes), please read this amazing meta.

Another thing worth mentioning is this beautiful art shared by one of the animators of the anime. We see the class hugging Deku happily, and Bakugou smiling, reaching for his hand.

THE TAG

The tag #bkdkapology trended for about 22 hours, starting with the end of the episode to the next day. Keep in mind that all the data here will use the Rome timezone.

Rome timezone: Episode came out 11 March 2023 at 9:30. So the tag trended till 12 March 2023 at about 8:00 am (last recorded! it might have trended more later, but I don't have data on it).

I tried to record every hour, but of course I could not! Some amazing people on twitter helped me, in particular @/wanderingzygote (who sent me some updates during my nighttime :D), @/Meylovesbkdk, @/meiru, @/JoIyne_wifey, @/yokkynny, @/sherurose, @/Loriqod, @/Lutina_shock, @/lilizyo, @/Millenia_by, @/x_regrets, @/bdkdtrsh, @/DD_my_space (let me know if I missed anyone!).

Here I made a small graph with the data collected. Keep in mind that the timezone is Rome, so the episode started at 9:30.

The double lines that you see around 14:40 and 17:00 are there because they represent absence of data, as during that time, and before 4:00 (am) I could not collect data.

As you can see there was a pretty quick increase of the tag until the end of the day, with a slowing down later on.

For the first 12 hours after the start of episode, users were sharing about 1200 tweets with #bkdkapology every hour!

The tag reached 20k tweets at about 23:30, which is about 14 hours after the episode!

I also used the website Dashboard Tweet Binder to check the tag itself! I did so at 11:30 am, which is about 3 hours after the tag stopped trending.

So in about 25 hours, the tag reached 24720 tweets!

You can also see the peak here:

The highest use of the tag was between 8 am and 13:00 (1 pm). The episode came out at 9:30 am and ended at 10am, so just after the episode and during the episode there was the highest use of the tag with almost 2k tweets.

The website also offers the "most liked and retweeted images" but this analysis is region specific. So in Italy, these were the three most liked and retweeted pictures with #bkdkapology
