So I'm rewatching the Varia arc and one thing I noticed is that khr music is fucking hype! I don't know if I just never realized this when I was watching it years ago or I've just forgotten but damn, it's soooo goood!!

Like Kyouya's piaono theme? Top tier! It's so stupidly dramatic and extra but it also gives you chills, it fits him so well, I love it so much!

Then there's the track during Takeshi's sword training (at ep 37 Idk if this is like a theme or whatever), which gives me these wild west vibes and that's arguably fucking hilarious. It also makes me want to see Takeshi in a cowboy outfit (he can match cowprints with Lambo 😂).

Other things beside the music which came apparent to me:

Hayato is baby(tm) and is in desperate need of a hug, some hot chocolate and therapy, not necessarily in that order

Someone needs to feed Dino some soup, he's too skinny

Tsuna really needs a vacation (which I already knew but watching him suffer via Reborn's torture/training really empthasized it)

I really can't stand Iemitsu and he can rot in Vendicare for all I care

Hello! I am doing quite okay ahaha, I fell ill right at the beginning of the year and that actually explains my return to writing just a bit bc I had 0 energy for anything else. I just sat and wondered about the nation's husband here for a bit, so apologies if some of these are kind of a stretch!

♡ Misc. Dino Cavallone Headcanons ✧

He went from having a fear of horses to becoming a horse girl. I like to imagine that his parents may have had an interest in riding (or that the Cavallone family literally fixes horse races for shady $$), so there would be these huuge beautiful top of the line horses at their personal stable.. however, he was absolutely terrified of them and was too afraid to look them in the eye, much less ride one, until Reborn forced him to face his fear; He's fallen on his ass and been kicked in the face more times than he can count, but as he slowly learned that horses were just big skittish animals that needed to be treated with love and respect, he began to love riding and working with horses and down the line earned the nickname "Bucking Horse/Bronco".

Dino loved the Barbie movie, he is extremely Alancoded. And his all-out cowboy barbie outfit (lowkey Reborn made him do it) drew too much attention at the theatre, to the point that some kids were calling him Ken and asking for photos. He ✨served💅 the public that day.

I refuse to believe that Dino was an only child and he turned out so well?!? He's extremely older-brother coded, I would bet my life that he has at least one younger sister or half-sister (though arguably Tsuna is his non-blood brother) that he just doted on until idk she prob kaboomed and wasn't used as a plot device

He's a tall man, has type O blood, he should be donating it because he's such a good person, right? He did once! He passed out and is a little nervous about going back again.. to think that he has a whole tattoo sleeve..

Some of his tattoos are actually coverups!? He never planned to get a full sleeve, but needed to cover up some shitty flash he got in his younger days. He decided to get something bolder and flashier to cover it, but then the rest of his arm being bare just bothered him.. so he added elements until uh oh, it's a full sleeve that goes all the way to the back of his hand. Despite being a pretty boy his entire life, he seems like the type to have had some img issues and regrets with his initial tattoos (he got them just bc he thought it would make him cool and tough), covered them up and felt like he looked too shady.. and then learned to love them and embrace them as art. He likes the asymmetry of how heavily inked one side of him is, and is considering a big ankle/calf/thigh and maybe a hip piece on the opposite side leg to balance it out, but he's a bit nervous about the pain (I giggle). Omg what if the skull and flame neck tatt is matching with some of his men (theirs are in different spots) after a particularly drinks-heavy party night*.

Sometime between the "present time" of the KHR timeline and TYL, he adopted a shorter haircut and learned how to style it from Reborn! They got more time to reconnect as Reborn became less busy with shaping Tsuna into the "perfect mafia boss" or whatever and began to lengthen the kite string gradually.

Dino is a total softie at heart, and has moments where he cut people slack that other mafioso, especially older bosses, would not have. His men love him because he is strong and they know his heart is right, but whatever softness he had in his early 20's he had to shake off real hard as time went on.

Because of all the mental and physical work it takes for him to do his job, sometimes he wants nothing more than to be babygirled for once, and literally nobody knows but just maybe Romario has an inkling.. the sense that it may be the case.

Is there any other series you like besides bnha?

absolutely! though I'm not really following any other long-running series at the moment in the same way that I do with BnHA. and a lot of my favorite series have long since been completed -- FMA, KHR, Naruto*, Bleach*, Death Note*, and so forth. the asterisks btw are because I haven't actually completed those series, but I was a big enough fan of each up until a certain point (for Naruto and Death Note it was probably the timeskips, and for Bleach probably the end of the Soul Society arc) that I'm including them here anyway. you guys have no idea how rare it is for me to actually stick with a long-running manga long-term lol. BnHA is absolutely the exception.

anime-wise, some of my favorites that immediately come to mind are Durarara!!, Azumanga Daioh, Mob Psycho 100, Free!!, Kaze ga Tsuyoku Fuiteiru (which might be more well known by the fandom abbreviation KazeTsuyo, or by its English name Run with the Wind), and the Watanabe classics (Cowboy Bebop and Samurai Champloo -- I still really need to watch Carole & Tuesday). I'm also a big fan of One Piece (though I haven't caught up on that one in quite a while), and I watched the first season of The Promised Neverland a little while ago and loved it, but heard the anime fucked around with the second season so I'm gonna have to go back and read the manga instead. and there are a ton of others (I don't think I mentioned Detective Conan, but that's another ongoing one that I kind of dropped the ball on following, though I still read every chapter that has Heiji in it lol), and of course I have non-anime/manga fandoms as well, the biggest one being the MCU, but I'm not sure if this ask was including those or not lol.

as far as this blog goes though, I mostly just stick with BnHA since it's what the vast majority of people following this blog are here for. and it's also easier for me to have just one fandom to focus on. once BnHA finally ends I will probably move on to JJK, which I've set aside with the expectation that it will probably be my next hyperfixation series. but hopefully BnHA has another year or so left at least before that happens. anyway but yeah, so those are some of my other faves. thank you for the ask!

6 degrees- gokuborn; this one is just so fucked up, multi chapter, mostly completely outlined

ten days- mostly pwp, another abo, gokuborn (Timeline shenanigans too) definitely multi chaptered

scar fic- the “xanxus was frozen for twenty four years” fic- gokuxan, multi chaptered, want this one to be Right. very tricky.

the fucking rewritten ending to the flame swap- just a few chapters that need tweaking and fixing fuck im pissed off about this one

khr crossovers (not including ghoul stuff/ajin stuff bc i dont really take anything but the premise there; they’re more flavor,,, less crossover)

isekai bnha follow ups: the date, sport fest, internship, camping/kidnapping (maybe more) (mostly oneshots/small chapters)

cake fix: the rewrite of HYC which takes the premise and the worldbuilding and just, jacks it right the fuck up. probably multi parts/series piece not just multi chapter (like, everything up to the rings and then the rings part separate) not sure on the ending, exactly, but, hey, we’ll get there

Counteroffer: the narts crossover/sequel to force of nature. got a good beginning, fleshing out the middle. definitely longer than the first one. 

retrograde crossover: more bnha at the beginning and then khr at the end,, possibly inko/nana ship

stranded: definitely a self indulgent fic. we’ll see how that goes

now, the Bnha stuff

all of the horror - soulmate au! bakutodo, izuku????, might end up bakutodozuku. (maybe) anyway, got a solid beginning to this one. its fucky but in a fun way :)

ranking: enjikatsuki fic (dont ask) this one is Very Long and half plotted out (though the ending keeps fucking changing on me) and will take a while to get out properly. ive got bits written that i really like so its gonna be a wild ride

this is how it is- possible direct sequel of another (posted) fic or somewhat inspired by- its a dad!katsuki fic. leaning towards bakutodo or bakudeku (or bakushin???) but might not have a ship at all? who knows

katsu-ai: don’t ask. might write but never post. we’ll see

amnesia fic: im right now having the internal fight of rewriting, oh say, the last thirty fucking pages of this thing. either me or kormi are gonna win this fight and i dont know who yet. we’ll see. 

bloodsport: literally one chapter left (maybe at most two) really should finish this

SIAOD rewrite: slow and steady, s l o w and s t e a d y. in the middle of the rewrite for exsanguination right now. trying to prevent this change from altering siaod’s canon too much. mostly using it to clarify some things? we’ll see (unlike HYC, im really trying to stay along with the similar original beats of siaod. its difficult but possible, i think)

might actually work on waylaid. the ‘enji-marries-rei-at-19-fucking-years-old’ detail of canon is... something i might have to adjust. god what a c h i l d.

give him an inch; self indulgent, unlikely to share, still kinda want to finish.

siblingverse older drop: got a fun beginning, not sure where the ending should/could be. once i figure that out, i’ll have something to bridge to, i think. (its a shisui dropped in canon story. right during the invasion lmao)

chakra eater sakura: similar to the last one, but before the invasion and shisui’s much younger (you’re going to notice a theme here, i think)

the fic between the lines: >.> if u guessed “shisui dropped into canon at X point” you’d be right. dont question it. its my most self indulgent kind of fic ok

my neighbor sakumo!: i have no idea where this is going. but the beginning is great! need to figure out the ending (need to do that for a lot of these i see)

(we’re going to skip at least two other versions X in the wrong place/time because Reasons but suffice to say they are There and Waiting)

Brotherhood. Of course. sigh i need to work on that one i really do.

doing business as; the regulus finds and raises harry fic- not sure,,, where i want to go with this. if i can figure that out, i think i could work more on it.

moreno: a fic for me and one other person. very self indulgent OC stuff. almost certainly will never post, but hey. masked cannibal serial killers. thats always fun 

so. that’s about 35-40 fics, give or take a few, that are all in my WIPs and that i’ve been sorta working on for the last,,, while. (some the last few months, some a few years old) some have several thousand words, some just a few hundred, but almost all of these have at the very least one scene written for them, if not more. 

i suppose the idea is to pick several of them to keep on permanent rotation with each other until It’s actually fucking finished. not sure if i should juggle between two and three or five and six. kind of would like to have different types/different fandoms i’m focused on at a time. plus there’s stuff that’s already partially posted that, well, probably should have priority. 

this list is mostly for myself to read through and like, figure shit out, but if you have questions or want to know more or are desperate for one WIP over another, let me know. i write for me, but i also write for you.

So, as mentioned last night, I’m going to be putting up some prompts for anyone who wants to request from them! My ask box is still open to regular requests but I do know that several of you really like prompts and find them easier to ask for then having to come up with questions of yourself! A lot of these prompts are very character focused this time since I’m really in the mood to write gen stuff and platonic stuff!
