These are somewhat Ryan and/or Dylan centric because I find them the most interesting, but they also had the most story-impacting cut content IMO.

RYAN WAS SUPPOSED TO BE ABLE TO WARN DYLAN ABOUT THE WEREWOLF OUTSIDE THE RADIO HUT.

I know I’ve talked to a bunch of people about this. I know @andromaqves was one and I can’t remember who else but omfg, justice for Ryan!! I think they cut this because they made the werewolf more obvious than Justice's performance indicated but THAT MAKES IT WORSE. DO YOU NOT SEE HOW THAT MAKES IT WORSE YOU GUYS?!

Ryan also could have had the chance to actually get a shot off against Silas in the version of the radio hut scene where Dylan isn't bitten, and he'd think he had killed the werewolf.

Then as he's heading back to the radio hut, Dylan warns him that it's coming back and we get the rest of the scene as it plays out in the game.

I get why they cut this, because if they established for certain that regular bullets can't actually harm the werewolves, there's no stakes to Abi potentially shooting Nick, but it's a cool sequence, it's always good to see the boys work together, and it would have been AWESOME if Ryan could have been infected here instead of Dylan!

Laura claims to Ryan that Chris Hackett drunkenly admitted that his family was KILLING PEOPLE who were investigating them, but there's nothing else to back that up in the datamine that I've found so far (not that I think she made it up lol, just that it would have been interesting if the Chris scene was cut to remove that too).

And the one my heart can't fucking take, Kaitlyn and Dylan on the way to the scrapyard variant where Ryan has kissed Kaitlyn at the bonfire and they actually talk about it because she asks Dylan if he's jealous of Laura getting to go off with Ryan. He says he's jealous but not of Laura...

"i need to tell forever/cellbit/baghera". forever figures out a new way to protect the eggs, and he gets it to everyone within days. cucurucho tries to have a secret conversation and the entire server knows about it almost instantly and there are three people buried in the walls reading the subtitles and giving each other meaningful glances

i love it. i love it. miscommunication plotlines drive me up the fucking wall and the fact that i wasn't even SCARED when jaiden and baghera could easily have angled into an angsty tangled web of that and instead just MET WITH EACH OTHER AND EXPLAINED EVERYTHING AND CLEARED THE AIR ALMOST IMMEDIATELY was so fucking breathtaking. and this is a multilingual server. this is a MULTILINGUAL SERVER. i love it. i love it so much i want to cry. it's a server for communication and people Communicate, it would have been SO EASY to slip into monolingual factions and stick to the familiar but they DIDN'T. they DIDN'T. i do love canon amy & rory but god, does some part of me wish they really had gone with the idea of the doctor picking up a child as a companion (and then later, that child’s best friend with a huge crush on her.) with the rest of the season really not changing at all, except now it’s amelia pond with an angel in her head killing her and lost alone in the woods. it’s little rory who dies and is forgotten and becomes a toy soldier. if this is going to be a fairy tale, then let it be one. children have never been safe in fairy tales.

I started an honor mode playthrough with probably the cutest tiefling in bg3 and I fuckn got killed during the Phase Spider Matriarch, so I decided to continue my save with dishonor because my character was just so damn cute. Well for some reason or another the game didn't?? Switch it to custom mode?? It's still honor mode??

So I'm either going to get those golden dice in the most dishonorable way possible or the game is just pulling on my leg and It's just honor mode without the reward.

In my head *cough, fantasies* RGG isn't so centered on their need to 'one game only' their villains, and allow the characters they already have to expand and grow beyond those games. (Ryuji-though he came back in Dead Souls, Mine, Aizawa) they do a good job making really compelling, interesting characters and then have to speed run to their demise. It's unfortunate, but I do understand they were operating with 'there might not be another game after this so we don't want to get too far ahead of ourselves' much of the time. Hell I don't even need redemption arcs, just..not having death be the only answer, if that makes sense? Or I just get to attached to the well-done villains. Heh. (chaoszonenate)

anyone else have an issue where seeing too much of other people’s ocs (and the creations involving/depicting them and how others respond to said characters) make you wanna give up fucking around with your own characters? no? just me?

#some days i’m good and cool and wanna do all the things with… well it’s just one right now. so my boy #seeing other people’s art and shit of their characters is…it’s cool. inspiring #some days though i want to throw my son in a fucking blender and give up on this shit forever #seeing people get comments like ‘ough #your character is so fuckin cool!’ #or ‘i love your character paired with the character you’re pairing them with it works so gooood’ #and then it’s crickets for me like #oh. okay. i clearly suck at this because if i didn’t people would love him as much as i do on a good day #and the it makes the fun romance stuff not fun because #huh. if nobody likes him - if he’s that shitty - it makes no sense that anyone would fall in love with him in-universe either #he’s clearly got nothing going for him #he clearly sucks ass. and not in a fun way #it feels shitty #and i know i barely put anything out there so of course nobody knows anything about him but #what’s the point? #when all these other awesome characters exist. like putting a shitty child’s drawing up next to a leyendecker #except the child who made the shitty drawing is actual 3* years old and has been doing this for a minute and so has no fucking excuse #to suck other than they’re not smart or creative enough for this shit #i can’t have fun with it if he’s actually shitty #and my only point of reference is other people’s ocs and how people react to them and he’s not like anything like them #because again. if he’s as shitty as i feel i don’t wanna put the effort into any more creation with him #or at all really #can someone fuckin cut this desire to create out of my head? so i stop feeling like this and no longer am at risk #of putting absolute fucking garbage into the world? #it’d be more likely than getting over this dumb comparison bullshit that permeates every other facet of my life as well… #or. no. please. someone give me advice on how to stop feeling like this #i want to keep creating and playing with my guy #character stuff #oc #to the void with love
