'Marry My Husband' episode 12
Some thoughts before tomorrow's episode 13 of "Marry My Husband"
Tumblr media
The Yura character — She wasn't introduced out of the blue. She'd been mentioned often enough and teased enough from the beginning that she was bound to show up. I figured it was going to be some kind of stunt casting because the show was hiding her face. Lost on me though, I have no idea who the actress is.
Tumblr media
Yura is not in the webtoon — Yes. But she is in the webnovel, on which the series is actually based on. Whether she's the best character/plot the writers of the series could have picked up from the novel is debatable. But they definitely needed something for the leads after the wedding because in the webtoon, the focus pretty much shifts to Minhwan and Sumin's growing misery as well as Juran's domestic troubles.
Tumblr media
Jiwon's reaction to Yura's appearance — OK, this is the part that has caused quite a bit of uproar. What I'm getting is that folks are confused, angry at Jiwon because Jihyuk and Huiyeon both explained he didn't cheat on her and yet she cut off the relationship just like that.
I agree this is about cheating, but I think folks may be looking at it wrong — Jiwon was looking at Yura as the one being cheated on, not her. That in this scenario, she, Jiwon, is the other woman. Like her mom who made the one-sided decision to cut off her relationship with her dad and leave them both, Jihyuk made the one-sided decision to call off his longtime engagement to Yura. This was underscored by the flashback at the beginning of episode 12, when young Jiwon comes across Dad sobbing as he watches Mom with another guy. "... no matter how long you endure, those left behind get hurt. No matter what the relationship is, once it's started, I don't think it's right for one person to end it one-sidedly."
Why didn't she listen to Jihyuk or Huiyeon? Because, like Jiwon said, everything sounded like an excuse. The hurt from long ago was blocking all logic for her. Plus, I don't think she really had time to process because they were immediately hit with the whammy that is Manager Yang's cancer diagnosis. There's that whole "oh shit, I transferred my miserable fate to one of my favorite people" mind fuck on top of all this.
Tumblr media
Also, she doesn't know what a witch Yura is (hearing about it and seeing it for herself are very different things) . Once Jiwon finds out and then gets the reminder of how shitty her mom is, she goes to see Jihyuk. Doesn't talk to him but it is a step toward him. I can't be mad at that.
Could this angst have been handled better? Absolutely, given how confused people got.
Anyway, this would all be resolved in tomorrow's episode, I feel. Preview shows Jiwon by Jihyuk's side at the hospital. Don't think she'll be stepping back after that and we'll get our power couple in action again soon.

enchanted: a series (pt. 1)
"the playful conversations starts counter all your quick remarks like passing notes in secrecy" - enchanted, taylor swift
quackity imagines
warnings: swearing, use of quackity's real name
a/n: decided to unpublished and redo the tommy series to make it a quackity one and do it even better, because the last one was kinda meh.. hope you enjoy! (for plot: alex lives in mexico and comes to visit you in california)
Tumblr media
after a year of talking and planning, alex finally took the time to come and visit you in california. despite having visited the state before, this would be the first time you two met irl, which is both exciting and nervewracking...
"oh god, what if he changes his mind last minute and decides not to come? or her forgets to call me? what if i forget to go pick him up? what if it's super awkward in real life and we'll be those friends that actually hang out in real life, only online? what if-"
you panic very easily and the spirals goes way WAY down
but it's ok, because you set about a million reminders to go pick up alex and thought of different conversation starters
not that you would need them... it's just good to be prepared
an hour before alex was set to land in tijuana airport, you loaded into your car and began the drive down to the border
palms sweating, breathing heavy, leg jittery; when you arrived you were a mental (and physical) mess
but that soon flew out the window when you saw the message alex had sent you a few minutes after you had parked your car
a selfie of him at baggage claim, with a huge grin under his mask
you just knew his smile was as big and bright as the sun
it helped calm you down as you got off your car and went to the arrivals entrance, where you received another message
alex in front of a very scary-looking security guard (who wasn't paying attention) and a sign that says "no cell phones allowed"
'STOP UR GONNA GET ARRESTED'
'IM A BAD BITCH THEY CANT GET ME'
its about evening time and alex had already had dinner, but you still bought soft pretzels and red bulls from the food stand in the building
you saw the not-even-close-to-6-foot-tall man walk out from those double doors, and in your excitement, rushed to him and gave him a big, welcoming bear hug, to which he responded with a one-handed hug that, honestly, was just as tight
as you walked to your car, you presented him with his pretzel but told him to save the red bull for the next day "because you'll need it"
"what plans do you have for us tomorrow?"
you smirk
"you'll see"
and leave it at that. which worries yet also intrigues alex
the conversation was easy and you realize you had literally nothing to worry about
it was nonstop talking to the car, some tired singing on the drive home, and still chattering by the time you reached your apartment
you had cleaned, swept, mopped, and washed everything you possibly could in preparation for alex's visit (and it showed- or well, smelled (amazingly))
despite having the couch prepared to become alex's bed, you still offered to let him stay in your room and you sleep in the living room
"of course not, what kind of asshole would i be if i kicked you out of your own room"
"not an asshole... you'd be like a relative coming to visit"
he stayed in the living room and after you two said your goodnights, you let out a huge sigh in your room
turns out, there was nothing to worry about and alex's visit would go on without a hitch
it's like you've known each other your whole lives
bonus: the next morning, when you wake up and step out into the living room, you find him practically dead asleep, to the point that you noticed a bit of drool slowly sliding down the side of his jaw. you took a picture... for... reasons... that are definitely not blackmail or extorsion purposes

The wedding guests are on their way home! In-laws began heading home yesterday, I think. Mom left early this morning. Dad and his wife left early this morning. Brother doesn't leave until some time tomorrow, but with any luck I won't see him again before he leaves. Flan, sadly, departs tomorrow as well, but we spent a few hours together today, just the two of us. Mom stayed with me while she was here so the guest room smells like her. We got donations towards our honeymoon instead of gifts and we made up in donations the money we've spent preparing for the trip so that's great. With ONE exception, the wedding was basically perfect and everyone had fun.
Brother began fucking shit up before he even got here. Mom offered weeks ago to help pay for his hotel but he never responded to her text. When he landed Thursday afternoon he called me asking where his room is saying that he never got booking info from mom. I texted mom, "Hey, J is here, he's asking about his hotel. He says he never got any booking info from you?"
Mom texts back, "He never answered my fucking text." Then she calls me sounding stressed to the point of tears because her first flight was delayed by four hours, and she KNEW he was going to do this and how stupid she feels for hoping he might get something done on his own for once, and she tried to book a room just now but she's finally in line for her flight and she can't fill out the credit card authorization form, and she's sorry that she and J are ruining my day!
I reminded her that, no, if there's a hole in the wing of the plane and now she's delayed, that's not her fault. She's doing her best. She's doing her part and that J is responsible for fucking up his hotel situation and that no one, absolutely no one, is mad at her and I will figure out J's hotel situation. Mom is now reassured and texting me hearts while I text J to get a ride to my place and I'll figure the hotel out.
J arrives with his three months pregnant girlfriend, drops their stuff off, then leaves to get a bite to eat. I'm thinking sure, they'll go eat, then come back once their room is booked and then they'll collect their things and leave.
No! Too much to hope for! I book their room, no problem. I text him and email him the info. Ten minutes go by without a response so I emailed the info to his pregnant girlfriend and then he thanks me, but he doesn't come back to get his stuff. Three hours pass before I text them again. "Hey, I'm getting tired and I'd like to go to bed early, when will you be back to get your stuff?" He responds, "We'll just dip to our room." Then, a minute later, "Wait, we left our stuff at your place." So at 8pm I bring their things down and they finally leave with their belongings. Ok, unexpected, but no big deal.
Mom lands right around 10:30pm. We go pick her up, but it's busy so we circle around once before Leah decides to deliberately get us stuck in traffic. I go in, find mom pretty quickly, then by the time we get her bag from the baggage claim and get into the car, we're basically at the front of the line. The smoothest part of mom's day. And as a bonus, Joxer remembers her so there's minimal barking and boofing when she arrives.
So Friday rolls around and I plan on having dad over around 5:30pm to nail down the ceremony details knowing his wife will be with him. They don't tell me when they're on their way. They don't tell me when they've arrived, but J, who was not invited, texts, "Someone let us in." I'm on my way to the door and say out loud as I get the text saying they're on their way up the elevator, "Residents aren't just supposed to let people in, it's a security risk". I open the door and it's dad, his wife, J, and his pregnant girlfriend who is holding a large bottle of whiskey. J says, "I told y'all she was going to be mad about people just letting us in."
Reader, they're drunk. Dad and J are both DRUNK. They've been drinking all day. I didn't think I would have to tell a group of adults not be drunk at my place. It never occurred to me to think my adult family who loves me would show up to my place drunk or that someone in the building would just admit drunk strangers into the building, what the hell.
While I'm dragging my family members up to the roof, my in-laws are arriving to have dinner with Spouse. So I'm on the roof while Spouse is managing their dying father. Shortly after getting the ceremony sorted the discussion turns to my other brother, C, who is not invited because he's a thief.
Dad turns to my Mother and says, "I was talking to C about flying him out to Hawaii so he can marry his baby mama on the beach for Christmas. I can afford to fly him out, but I can't afford to fly him back. I asked him how he's getting back home and he said don't worry about it, you'll pay for the flight home." This is the first my mother is hearing about any trips to Hawaii or that she's expected to drop 10K to fly him, his wife, and his baby back home. Mom told dad that she will not be doing that. I announced that my dinner has arrived and that Dad, J, and their women need to leave.
The next day, Saturday, is the wedding day! Yay! Ceremony is supposed to start at 10:00am, but I can give people 15 minutes of wiggle room. The wedding website has been up for 10 months with the wedding location. It is a popular park. There are pictures of it on google maps AND my Facebook account. Everyone has had ample time to look it up and map it out and they have 15 minutes of wiggle room. It's 10:20am.
It's not 10:00 yet, but everybody except Dad, the officiant, J, and their partners is there at the garden. 10:20am and I have not gotten a single text or call from any of them. I start texting them. We have the place for an hour and that hour is already 1/3 gone. Aunt K gets a text saying they're 8 minutes away, but she got it almost five minutes ago. 10:25 and still not there I LOSE IT, but Spouse is there right in front of me, mom is behind me, Flan is close by, and Sister in Law is close by. I am surrounded by people who have chosen to love and support me. Spouse assures me that it's okay and we can start the ceremony without Dad or J.
At 10:26am Sister in Law volunteers to officiate. Sister in Law, Brother in Law, Spouse's in-state bestie (not to be confused with their out of state bestie), and their niece all take position in a row under the arch like they're trying to protect us. Spouse and I take position on opposite sides of the walkway leading to the arch while Flan graciously takes up song cue duties.
Flan starts the song. Spouse and I walk our separate paths and meet in the middle in front of our row of people who have pulled together to support us and love us. Sister in Law gives a beautiful speech off-the-cuff about how she's been with us since the first date, how she witnessed the early stages of our relationship, how we've handled all of life's curve balls together, and how magical it's been to witness it. I said my vows, Spouse said their vows, and then we fist bumped, which is what we did after our first date.
Dad and J showed up just as we were fist bumping. They missed the whole thing.
Later, Dad said that J made them late out of J's hearing. J, out of Dad's hearing, said that they were in the right spot originally, but they didn't see us so they assumed it was the wrong spot and left.
If they had called me or texted me, "Hey, we're at the garden, but we don't see you." I could have told them that we're dropping stuff off at the pavilion for the reception and that we'll be there in a few minutes. They could have checked that the place matches the pictures on google maps. They could have taken a picture of the arch and texted it to me asking, "Is this the right place?"
All they had to do, all either of them had to do, was communicate and they refused. I gave them every chance. I made this as easy as I could. And they were still too incompetent and immature to figure it out.
Mom, Flan, and my new family with Spouse were all there and it was otherwise a lovely time. People ate, played games, admired the mighty Mississippi, took pictures of the butterflies and bees in the flowers, and saw the waterfalls nearby. I danced with my sister in law, I talked to my friends and my mom, and I ate good food and I read all the lovely things people wrote in our vow books. It was a gorgeous day. I was home by 2pm. I walked the dog, washed my face, and read a book. I had veggies, a nectarine, cheese, and crackers for dinner. It was a lovely day and I am so happy to have this new family and to finally have good siblings. It was a wonderful wedding. I love my new family.

Fridays Place
Bucky Barnes x Reader
Mob AU
Chapter 12
Warnings: swearing, angst
After Friday went to bed Bucky, Peter and MJ sat on the porch staring at each other.
Bucky was the first to speak up "You know her better than I do, do you two have any ideas on how to help her?"
Peter shrugged "I've never seen her deal with anything like this. After she caught Sharon with her fiance she just threw herself into work here. Nat helped her, they are uh, like, extremely close. I'll give her a call" he grabbed his phone and hit Nats number, walking away for some privacy.
Bucky and MJ just looked at each other until she spoke up. "I've only known her a couple of years, Peter worked with her long before we met. He was one of her at risk kids after his parents died."
Bucky nodded and offered his phone to her "Can I have your, or Peters number? Take mine and call me if there's anything I can do to help."
He headed to the barn to get Becca "Come on Becs, its time to get home. We'll be back tomorrow."
Becca frowned "I'm sorry Hilde, I have to go home. I'll see you tomorrow" and kissed Hilde on her muzzle. Hilde nickered back at her and Becca smiled "Did you hear that daddy? She loves me already."
"How could she not?" Bucky smiled but it didn't reach his eyes.
Becca looked up at her father "Is Miss Friday ok? What happened to her? I'm sorry I ran away but I was scared and knew Hilde would help me feel better. I'm worried."
Bucky tried to keep his smile but faltered. "I hope she will be ok. You know that Brock hurt her really bad right?"
Becca nodded silently
Bucky continued "Well, sometimes when a person gets hurt really bad or goes through something terrible like that-"
"Like when you were in the war and lost your arm?" Becca interrupted
Bucky nodded "Yes, exactly like that. I had a very hard time when I came home too. Well, when someone goes through that their mind holds onto it even when they know they are safe. They can have something called a flashback where they might be perfectly safe but something reminds them of the bad thing they went through and they feel like they are right back in the middle of it. They can see and feel it all over again, it's very scary and confusing. Peter said he read that it can cause seizures and we think that's what happened tonite."
Becca thought for a minute "What can we do to help her? We helped her come out of the house so what can we do now?"
Bucky smiled at her "You are such a wonderful person, Bex. I'm so proud of you. I'm not sure what we can do but we will keep going every day so you can work with Hilde and maybe find a way to help.
Friday was woken up in the morning by a tornado coming through her house in the form of a tiny redhead who opened up her blinds.
"Nat, dude, what the fuck? What are you trying to do, melt me?" Friday protested
Nat laughed "No my sweet the sun won't melt you but it's time to wake up."
Friday groaned "Absolutely not, my alarm hasn't gone off yet." She looked around "What are you doing here? Don't you have students or something?"
Nat sat on the bed next to her and started petting Alpine "Pretty cat. I had to reschedule my day after Peter called me last nite. What's going on?"
Friday sighed "I need to have a talk with that boy. Ugh, nothing happened. Barnes bought me some horses, I met a lovely trainer who helped him pick them out. He got a horse for Becca too and she's planning her show career. Cat came with the horses. We had pizza for dinner and I went to bed."
Nat looked at her disapprovingly. "I'm sure you forgot something in there. Something important"
Friday rolled her eyes "Oh for fucks sake, Nat. I had some kind of seizure or something. Peter thinks I have PTSD, which is impossible."
"Why is that impossible? You went through a very traumatic experience. I would be very surprised if you didn't have PTSD"
"Jesus Nat not you too. I was raped but I'm fine. Women get raped every day. You people are making more out of this than needs to be."
"Y/N honey." Nat said sadly "Ok, Why don't you take a shower and we'll go out for breakfast."
Friday paled, started shaking and shook her head "No, thanks. I don't feel like going out. I have things to do here"
Nat sighed in frustration "You insist you're fine but you're shaking like a leaf at even the idea of going out. You haven't left your property since it happened. You only started going outside of the house a couple of weeks ago. Your trash is full of empty liquor bottles. Every mirror in the house is covered up. You aren't fine and never will be until you face what happened, preferably with a mental health professional. You know I love you but you will have to deal with this eventually."
"No, Nat. I'm fine, you all have to stop making more of this than there is." Friday insisted
Nat roared "STOP IT! You need to get yourself some help before this eats you up alive."
Friday flinched then steeled her gaze speaking softly and coldly "Get. Out. I don't need your pity or your anger. I'm fucking fine and you need to leave."
Nat scoffed "I will do no such thing. I saw your schedule is clear and called Lynne to set up a session for you this morning. You will start seeing her at least 3 times a week until you get your head straight".
Friday bristled "Fuck you Nat. You aren't my mother and don't get to come in here and boss me around. So leave."
Nat tried to take Friday's hand but she pulled away and slapped Nats hands away. "No dammit, I told you no. Go away, I don't need your help or anyone else's."
Nat grabbed her arm and Friday slapped her across the face "No!"
She looked at Nat in horror when she realized she hit her best friend and sobbed "Leave me alone. You don't understand. I can't talk about it"
Nat pulled Friday to her and hugged her tight "You know that I do understand and you know that I only want to help you but you need to help yourself."
She pulled the sheet that was covering the mirror over the dresser down "Look at yourself. You've lost weight and look like death warmed over"
Friday covered her face "No. I can't look at her. She's broken, ruined. Weak. Please don't make me. Please cover it up" She cried.
Nat held her tightly "No. You have to look. That is my best friend and she is none of those things. She has been through something horrific and needs help and to take care of herself but those things don't define her." Nat looked into Friday's eyes "You are strong and beautiful and caring and do so much for everyone else but you have to do this for you. Please Y/N."
Friday saw the tears running down Nats face. "If I were strong I wouldn't need help."
Nat shushed her "No, even the strongest of us need help from time to time and most of us don't deal with anything like what you did."
Friday pulled away "I can't Nat. Don't you understand. I can't talk about it and go through it all over again. I'm so angry and I don't have any place to put that anger. I'm furious at myself for letting it happen. At Sharon for everything. At Brock." Then she whispered "at Bucky"
Nat looked at her in shock "Why are you mad at Bucky? He saved you"
Friday shook her head "Part of me wishes he didn't. But that's not it." She looked at her hands and whispered "I'm mad that he killed Brock."
Nats brow furrowed in confusion "I don't understand"
Friday sighed and wiped the tears from her face "Brock did all those horrible things and planned more but Bucky killed him. Brock got the easy way out while I'm left here to deal with the aftermath. Brock didn't suffer, not even for a minute. After everything he did to me he didn't feel any pain, didn't suffer for one second and its not fair. Why did he get off so easy?"
She looked up at Nat with red, tear filled eyes. "I wanted to see him suffer like he made me but then I hate myself for thinking like that because that's not the kind of person I am. Brock changed me into someone I don't like. Someone who is weak and broken and hate filled."
Nat nodded "I do understand, love. Have you told Barnes? Peter told me he's been spending a lot of time here, have you talked about it at all?"
Friday quickly shook her head "No. He saw everything that happened, what Brock and Sharon did. I wouldn't even know what to say."
"Maybe tell him what you just told me. He's in a rough business and has been through some shit too. He might understand" Nat reasoned.
"Right. The sweet lady who gives his daughter riding lessons, helps special needs and at risk kids, has some kind of sick blood lust for a guy who's already dead. I'm sure he'll understand" Friday replied sarcastically.
"You'll never know if you don't talk to him. He might surprise you."
Friday sighed "Fuck, fine. I'll talk to Lynne. Anyone ever tell you that you're a pushy broad?"
Nat smirked "Once or twice. Now get a shower and I'll make you some breakfast. Then you can show me your new horses before Lynne gets here."
Friday took a shower and after she was done pulled the towel off of the bathroom mirror. She looked at herself, really looked for the first time since it happened. There were dark circles under her red rimmed eyes and her face looked pinched and sallow. She used her moisturizer for the first time in months and sneered at her face but used a little concealer and powder to cover up the worst of it. When she was somewhat satisfied with her face she stepped on her scale and noted she had lost 30 pounds. She put her hair out of her face and left the bathroom to get dressed.
In her room she dropped the towel and looked at herself in the full length mirror, she could see her ribs, hips and shoulder blades were more prominent than before. She sighed and pulled on a soft t-shirt and flannel. When she tried to put on her favorite jeans they barely stayed up and she dug out a belt to secure them. Socks and her boots were last. She looked in the mirror again and wasn't impressed, her face was still all wrong but the clothes covered the rest even though they just hung off of her like they never had.
Friday left her room and headed to the kitchen where the smell of bacon and eggs was coming from. It turned her stomach at first but she shook it off and sat down at the table.
Nat looked her over "Better. We will have to fatten you up again or buy a new wardrobe but this is an improvement."
Friday laughed but it was hollow "I can't afford a new wardrobe so will have to try to keep some food down. It hasn't been going well lately but I'll try. For you, sweet Natalia." She smiled wryly.
Nat laughed "Not for me, love, for you. You are worth taking care of and you will get through this. I'm here, you have Wanda, Peter and MJ. We are here and will do whatever we can to help you. I think you might have Barnes as well. He seems to be sweet on you."
Friday snorted "He wants in my pants, I doubt it's more than that."
Nat shook her head "I've been told that he spends most afternoons here, coaxing you out of the house. I've also heard that he hasn't seen another woman besides Becca and his mother since before Brock took you"
Friday raised an eyebrow "Been told by who? How would you know such things, Nat? Who has been whispering in your ear?"
Nat smiled secretively "My sources are my own but they are quite close to Barnes."
"Natalia, what are you up to? Who have you been cozying up with?"
Nat grinned "Fine, I may or may not have been canoodling with Barnes right hand but you can't tell anyone!"
Friday was confused "Wait, Steve? The blonde pile of muscles? How long has this been going on? And why is this the first I'm hearing of it?"
Nat blushed "It's been a couple of months but we are taking it slow. Partially because both of our best friends have been a mess lately. We didn't want to worry either of you with our situation especially if it turned out to be nothing. I don't think it is nothing"
"I'm very happy for you but a little hurt that you didn't tell me and a little mad that you put your life on hold because of me."
"I'm sorry, love. If it's any consolation, I haven't told Wanda either. There was just so much going on and we didn't want to add to it." Nat consoled.
Friday ate about half of what Nat gave her before it was too much. She looked up guiltily "I'm full. If I eat any more I'll be sick"
"It's ok, you did good. Now lets go see those new horses, shall we."
Friday took Nat out to the barn and showed her the new additions. Nat was particularly attracted to Sadie, she liked a horse with a bit of attitude, and Friday promised they would ride soon.
Lynne arrived and Nat went back into the house to clean the kitchen and find something for lunch while she waited.
Friday pulled Destry and Goldie out and let them loose in the arena then stood next to Destry waiting for Lynne. They talked for 2 hours, sometimes Friday would hide behind Destry while she spoke, finding it easier than looking Lynne in the eyes. She told Lynne about her anger and how she had been pushing it all down, partially with alcohol, and avoiding dealing with it. Lynne gave her some ideas for dealing with it and strongly advised her to speak with Bucky about her anger towards him. Friday promised to try the exercises Lynne gave her and said she would try to talk to Bucky.
As luck would have it, Bucky showed up right as she was finishing her session. Friday looked at Lynne in fear of having to talk to him so soon after acknowledging her anger towards him but Lynne hugged her and told her she could do this. Even offering to bring Bucky into the arena so Friday would still have Destry by her side. Friday nodded and steeled herself to face him after everything that had happened since last nite. She held on to Destry as Bucky tentatively entered and smiled softly at her.

"Marry me."
When Jungkook said this, you honestly thought that he wanted to sing Jason Derulo's Marry Me.
It made sense. The two of you were inside a karaoke booth, singing obviously. It was Sunday, meaning both of you would be back to reality tomorrow: you had to go to work and Jungkook needed to talk to Soojin.
He couldn't date your sister because he was already dating you, though you told Jungkook not to broadcast your relationship with anyone.
Not yet. This wasn't the right time. You first needed to see how Soojin would react. You didn't want her to think that you stole Jungkook or something.
That wasn't the case. You liked Jungkook even before Soojin liked him. There was no point in denying your feelings.
Seventeen years of running was already enough. How could you escape when Jungkook already conquered your heart?
You were sure he liked you too, probably more than you liked him.
"Kook, you just sang Savage Love. Do you seriously want to blast another Jason Derulo's song?" You groaned, expecting him to argue, or to pout and beg you to play the song.
However he only stared at you, pursing his lips into a thin line before letting out a deep breath.
"No, Tiger," no matter how serious the topic was, Jungkook's voice would always be soft. "I'm asking you to marry me..."
It was your turn to stare at him, completely dumbfounded.
"I'm sorry," you blinked after a moment of silence. You thought he would suddenly laugh and tell you he was joking.
"D-Did you say you want to marry me?"
Apparently, he wasn't kidding. Jungkook found satisfaction when it comes to teasing you, but not to the point where it was making you uncomfortable.
This was making you uneasy, yet he continued, a silent confirmation that this was real.
He wanted to marry you.
"Kook," you went near him, touching his shoulders. "I know you said we had the best time last night, I did too. I'm glad I kissed you and finally admitted my feelings for you."
You tried to remember every detail of what happened last night. You two kissed, went to his apartment, and reminisced about your moments when you were younger.
Jungkook implied that he would do the worst just for you. You remembered laughing and saying that he actually brought the best in you.
And then you remembered telling him you liked him and wanted to take your relationship into another level. He agreed, more than happy to date you despite your condition of keeping the relationship a secret.
You made yourself perfectly clear with what you wanted, and it seemed like he understood. He kissed you before falling asleep last night. When he woke up, he called you his girlfriend and asked you to go on a date with him.
This day was supposed to be all about you and him. The plan was to cook lunch together, watch some tv series, cuddle, and go out in the evening to go to a karaoke booth.
You had a fun time until now.
Why was he making this complicated by suddenly proposing to you?
"I'm sorry," Jungkook apologized, caressing the back of your hand which was still placed on his shoulder.
"I was...excited and caught up in the moment—" He paused, like something struck him.
"Never mind, Tiger." He pinched your cheeks. "I'm just messing with you."
You tried to speak, but Jungkook already turned away from you, grabbing his mic.
"Ah, I'm going to sing Dancing Queen and you can't stop me!"
The worry lacing your system vanished as soon as you saw his bunny smile.
"I wanna sing too!" So you grabbed your mic too, joining him.
The night was perfect once again.
It was so perfect that your mind and heart refused to accept the things that would ruin your Sunday date with Jungkook.
"After years of building things, two great architects of today finally decided to build a life together: Head Architect Jeon Jungkook asked Corporate Heir Kim Soojin to marry him."
You turned off your phone, baffled. No. This couldn't be true. Why would the media report fake news?
You were just with Jungkook a short while ago. You were at his place the whole weekend. He even dropped you off at the office earlier today before driving to the construction site. He also told you he would pick you up later for dinner. He knew Mondays were stressful so he wanted you to relax a bit.
So what just happened?
What was happening?
Why were things changing?
"Oh my! I knew it!" Fran, your coworker, gasped. She turned to your table.
"Girl! Have you watched the news? Head architect Jeon and team leader Kim are getting married!" She squealed, getting the attention of your other colleagues.
They all started to check their phones to confirm the news, some of them even spread the 'gossip' to the other departments. Moments later, you were sure that everyone in this building already knew about the announcement.
They seemed happy for Jungkook and your sister. You knew you should be thrilled too, especially because this was what Soojin wanted from the very start.
Unfortunately you couldn't even smile. Your stomach was crunching and you felt like you were going to vomit.
You were beyond confused. Did the media make a mistake or was Jungkook playing with your feelings?
It was probably the latter, right? Everyone was confirming the news. Soojin also texted you. It was the final blow.
[3:34pm] Soojin: Cancel your plan this evening! We'll be having family dinner, 7pm at our mansion. See you!
You were in the middle of reading her message when she sent another one.
[3:35pm] Soojin: The dinner's a mini celebration for JK and I! We're engaged! I'm sorry I didn't tell you immediately! We're soooo busy right now.
And then there was another one.
[3:35pm] Soojin: I'm so happy, sis! Can't wait to tell you the deets! Don't be late, ok?
You were not hesitating anymore. You were positive that Jungkook only played with your feelings.
Soojin wouldn't appear this happy if she was lying. Or was she pretending?
You weren't sure what to believe. Maybe it would be best to just let things be for now. You had to concentrate on your work. The truth would come out later this day anyway.
You texted Soojin back.
[4:02pm] You: See you later.
The clock continued to tick while you were losing your mind. You couldn't focus on your work no matter how many times you scolded yourself. In the end, you accomplished nothing. It didn't matter. You only had less than an hour before your shift ended.
You left the office at exactly five pm. You were planning on taking the bus, but you were surprised when you saw Taehyung waiting for you in the lobby.
"Oppa?" You greeted, unsure. One of the security employees told you that your brother was meaning to see you. They just didn't let him on your floor because he didn't set an appointment with you.
"You wanted to see me?" You asked when he just nodded at you. He was expressionless.
"Yes. We're going home together. Family dinner, remember?" He reminded you as if you weren't looking forward to that.
"Okay..." You responded since you didn't know what else to say. It seemed like he also didn't have the time to explain anything to you. Perhaps he simply wanted to drive you home.
"Do you know what Soojin and Jungkook like? I want to buy them an engagement gift," your brother blurted out.
You two were at the parking lot, looking for his car.
You stopped walking.
Huh. So he picked you up because he wanted your help? Why were you even surprised?
"It's okay if you don't know." Taehyung looked back at you upon realizing that you were frozen in the middle of the parking lot.
"I'll just buy them champagne or whatever." He shrugged, finally finding the car. He opened the door of the passenger seat for you.
"Let's go."
You blinked, entering the car.
Taehyung had a nice vehicle. It was clean and it looked brand new. The whole ambiance of his car was comfortable, yet you were fidgeting.
The silence was killing you.
"Soojin likes Dom Pérignon..." So you opened a topic related to his gift to the engaged couple.
Taehyung glanced at you, speaking only when the traffic light turned red.
"What about Jungkook?"
You flinched at the mention of your best friend's name.
"Huh?" And then you swallowed thickly, trying to calm your crazy heart.
"You said Soojin likes Dom Pérignon champagne. That's nice, but what about what Jungkook likes?" He licked his bottom lip, stepping on the gas once again. The traffic light flashed green.
"The gift is for the both of them. Not just for Soojin..."
You didn't know why but you felt as though Taehyung was implying something.
"I-I guess he doesn't mind that brand too..."
"Hm," Taehyung's jaw ticked. "It's best to just ask him, don't you think? Better know the truth first before jumping into conclusion..."
"Some things are taken prima facie..."
Taehyung laughed because of what you said.
"Really?" The corner of his mouth turned up. "I saw you kissing Jungkook at the party last Saturday. You both entered the same car after that. You didn't even go home for two nights. If I took this in a prima facie way, the conclusion is that you're Jungkook's mistress, right?"
Your face turned pale because of his claim. Shit. He saw you?
"I thought you left with Y-Yoongi." You stammered, turning to look at him.
You couldn't see his expression. His attention was focused on the street before him.
"Oh I did. But he wanted to check on you first. He was feeling guilty, you know? Said he didn't want to leave you alone..." He smiled, like he found Yoongi endearing.
"He only stopped worrying when he saw you with Jungkook."
"Oh." You bit your lower lip. You hadn't talked to Yoongi yet. Why didn't he text you? Why didn't he warn you? How were you supposed to defend yourself now?
"Don't worry, my lips are sealed." Luckily you didn't have to explain yourself.
Taehyung understood.
"Not that I condone cheating. I just know Jungkook isn't in a relationship with Soojin so he's not really doing anything wrong. Man..." He shook his head. "I don't even know why they're suddenly getting married, it's so fucked up."
You remained silent.
"And speaking of relationships..." Taehyung cleared his throat when you kept your mouth shut. "Don't tell anyone about my thing with Yoongi."
"Don't worry, my lips are sealed." You mimicked what he said a few breaths ago.
He smirked again.
"Good. If our family asks, I'll tell them we're together the whole weekend, unless of course you have a more believable lie..."
You didn't. You thought it wasn't necessary anymore. None of them asked where you were. You doubted that they knew you weren't home for two nights .
Usually Soojin bothers you. Sin-ae too. The latter would question you all the time, finding fault in your answers because she clearly enjoyed watching you get scolded by your father.
You wondered why they suddenly stopped bothering you. Were they too busy planning the engagement announcement? You saw Sin-ae's short interview. She confirmed to the public that her only daughter was indeed getting married.
"It's fine. But you told them where we went. I don't know what to say to them." You weren't close to Taehyung. It would be odd to know that you two were together the whole weekend.
"Don't worry, sister. I got it covered." Your brother winked at you, stopping the car.
You had arrived at the mansion.
Your heart skipped a beat as you muttered "Let's get this over with," under your breath.

Walls Start Falling
“(Y/N), that was insane,” Monica says as you have your lunch break. “Billy never did that. He never cared enough.”
You're still a mess, a confusing, flustered mess. But you made up your mind. Yesterday's events were madness. But it was just Billy being nice, you concluded. Another reason for you to be thankful and to give friendship a chance. Nothing else. “Yeah, it was nice of him to do that.” You try to keep it cool, your voice steady.
“Weren't you even a little bit... Excited about that?” She lowers her voice, even though there's nobody else around.
“Well...” Lying is not your thing, so you just have to tune it down a bit. “I was surprised. Perplexed and... I don't know. It felt good to have someone stand up for me.” You remember how cute it was when Christopher defended Monica, and see it happening to you a while after did send chills down your spine. But there's no reason for you to believe it was anything else. Billy might think he likes you, but he doesn't know you enough yet. That reminds you of another thing you have to tell Mon. “He... Billy told me something weird yesterday.” Mumbling, you drum your fingers on the table.
“What?”
“That he... That he likes me.” It only takes four words to make Monica stand up abruptly as if bit by a snake.
“Why in the hell didn't you tell me that the moment you set foot in this pool?”
You can't help but giggle. “Because it's not a big deal. You can't just decide you like someone you don't even know.” Shrugging your shoulders, you play with your food.
“Look. Something happened to Billy in senior year.” She starts. “He was in this awful car accident and if it wasn't for his sister and her friends, he'd be dead. After that he... Changed. Not completely, but he stopped treating his sister like shit.” It makes you curious. You haven't seen any scars on Billy, and nobody told you about any kind of accident. Maybe you could ask him about it sometime.
“And what does it has to do with anything?”
“It means that he changed then so he can change now.” It has some physiological background she's not explaining. “Just... You can be a normal girl around me, ok? We're friends, we're supposed to tell each other this kind of things.”
It's not that you don't want to open up, you just don't want to think about Billy all the time. But you guess it's ok. You feel like you can trust Monica, even about things you're a little scared about. “I know. But tell you what exactly?” You ask, taking a sip from your lemonade.
Her lips break into a smile. “Like the fact that you find Billy hot.” You almost choke, clearing your throat as you put the glass down. “You said that yourself. Yesterday when you shoved into David's face that he's envious of Billy because he's way hotter.”
“Billy is... Cute.” That's a good word, you decide. It's kind, it's not a lie, and it sounds casual.
“Have you ever seen him shirtless?”
“Yes. We're both lifeguards on Hawkins Community Pool and it's Summer, so yes.” Mon rolls her eyes at you sarcastic tone, but you just smile at her.
“Ok. But have you stopped to actually look?”
“Monica, I won't stare at the guy.”
“Why not? He stares at you.”
“It's different.” You snap.
“How so?”
You don't know how to answer. You don't even know exactly what's going on with you, or with Billy, or with this whole town. It doesn't matter how hard you think, you can't come up with a satisfactory answer, one that will be enough for your brain to stop forming questions. Monica is restless, and sometimes you catch yourself wishing she won't call. And she doesn't even know that Billy kissed you in the cheek. If you tell her that, you'll never hear the end of it. “I don't–” The door is open suddenly and it makes you shut up immediately. And the person who comes in makes you nervously move in your chair, sitting up straight.
“Were you talking about me?” Billy asks with a smirk.
“No.” You burst out, ready to stand up and head back to your chair. But Monica moves first, giving you such a hard stare that it makes you sit back down.
“Gotta go.” She says, storming out of the cafeteria.
Billy sits where Monica was, looking at you, as usual. “You were talking about me, weren't you?”
“No,” you repeat, cursing yourself for lying. “My lunch break will be over in-” you take a quick look at the clock above the fridge. “-three minutes. So I gotta go too.”
“Tomorrow is our day off. What are you up to?” He says when you reach the door.
You do have somewhere to be, thank God. “Mon invited me for a trail in the woods. With her crew...” You lock eyes with him again, and somehow, even though the distance, you feel the weight. It's not a bad kind of weight... It's different. It's gentle. “Wanna come?” It comes out faster than you can process it, so you look down, not sure if you want him to say yes or no.
“Yeah.”
You know he's smiling, and it has an effect on you. “We'll meet up at Benny's at nine. Don't be late or we'll leave without you.”
“I'll be there.” You listen as you walk away, thankful for the forty-five minutes you'll have on your chair without Billy being around.
•••
The sun is casting a beautiful golden light. It will be another hot day, and the fact that you'll be walking all morning isn't going to help. So you picked a light blue shirt with thin straps, short jeans, and comfortable white sneakers. You're leaning against Monica's car, parked in front of Benny's Burgers, doing a side french braid on your hair as you wait for the guys to get here. There's a fresh, morning wind blowing, and you breathe in the soft smell of coffee coming from Benny's. You didn't tell anyone about inviting Billy, so, if he doesn't show up, you won't have anyone talking about it.
Minutes later, the rest of Monica's crew gets here, five minutes before nine. You feel a little relieved that Billy won't come, actually. You've been trying to understand why the guy is making you so nervous when you're set to pursue nothing but a good friendship. Being confused is tiring. “Well, let's go,” Jason exclaims, and immediately, everyone starts getting in the cars. You're moving to sit on the passenger seat of Monica's car when Christopher calls shotgun. Great.
You're about to get into the back seat when you hear a car approaching, dangerously fast judging by the loud noise, and then it stops. You stand up straight, feeling your stomach burning when you see it's Billy's Camaro. “What the hell,” Mon mutters, giving you a glance.
Ignore her, you tell yourself. “Did you invite him?” Jason asks. “Or is he just crashing the party again?”
“I invited him. Hope it's not a problem.” Jason shakes his head no before getting into the car. But not before giving you a smirk. Well, you invited him, so you have to go and say hi. With your stupid heart beating faster, you walk over his car, offering a small smile when he steps out, standing by the door. “Hey. You're almost late.”
“Almost. Get in.”
“I'm going in Mon's car.” You gesture at where the two cars are parked. You get the feeling that you'll just end up in the same talk as last time, so you give up. “Just because I'm literally your only friend here.” Rolling your eyes, you gesture for the guys to go as you walk around the car to get to the passenger seat.
Billy follows the party until they stop randomly by the road. Everyone starts moving, getting their backpacks to get into the woods. You get yours from Monica's car, putting in on your back.
“Hey,” Billy calls, gesturing for you to get over his car with his index finger.
“What?”
He doesn't say anything as he takes the water bottle and snacks from your bag, putting in on his backpack. You watch, arms crossed, wondering why in the hell he's doing it without even asking if he could. Once your stuff is packed with his, he throws your empty bag on the passenger seat.
“Give me that,” you demand, reaching out your hand. “I'll carry through half of the way and you carry on the other half.” You raise an eyebrow at his smug smile as he hands you the pack. The moment he releases it, the weight pulls your arm down, and you have to push it back up before it hits the ground. “Damn, what do you have in here?” Suddenly you don't wanna carry this thing anymore. You should've just played along.
“Don't worry, princess, I can carry it.”
Shit. That name again.
“Fine.” You give him the bag, moving closer to the others.
“For the sake of our health, we're not going too far today,” Christopher announces, leading the way.
He keeps saying things, but you're not listening. You have never been in the woods, and you're too busy looking around, taking it in. Diane was lucky to have grown up in such a place, so beautifully calm, close to nature, being able to just run a few miles and be among the trees. You easily fall back, walking slightly slower than the party, mesmerized.
“It looks like you're enjoying it,” Billy says, and you notice he's purposely keeping your pace. But what else would he do? You're the only one he talks to in this group.
“It's beautiful. Living so close to the woods... It's just amazing. I can't believe I actually live here.” You're smiling like an idiot now, your eyes moving from the trees up to the blue sky. “What about you? Do you like living here?”
“Not in the beginning, but I got used to it, I guess.”
“I'm from New York, so you get the difference.” Shrugging your shoulders, you see something through the corner of your eye. It's small, and it jumps from a tree to the ground, running away. “A squirrel!” You exclaim, gesturing at a tree on our left. “I saw a squirrel.” Giving one last look at the group, you start moving to where you saw it going to.
“Wait up,” Billy calls since you're trying to walk as fast as you can without tripping on any branches.
You scan the woods, looking for any sign of the small animal, but you don't find anything. There's a slight slope on the way, so you use a fallen tree as a support as you move through it. But a rock moves under your foot, making you slip and fall on your butt. A low whine escapes your mouth when you feel a sting on your calf as you slide down the rest of the slope.
“Hey.” Billy is suddenly before you, you don't even know how he got here so fast. He pulls you up, holding your arms. You're laughing though, and the confused expression on his face doesn't help much. “You ok?”
“Yeah, I'm alright.” You look up, noticing how close Billy is. His blue eyes are like the ocean, beautiful, calming, and peaceful. Not the kind of eyes you'd expect from someone with the reputation he has. Clearing your throat, you step back, dusting off your clothes. “The squirrel won this round, I guess.” You can feel his stare as you look down.
“There's a cut on your calf.” He gets on one knee, taking your left leg by the ankle.
“What are you doing?” You mutter when you almost fall for the sudden loss of balance. You use Billy's shoulder to keep yourself steady. You feel his thumb on your skin, watching as he carefully removes the blood from the wound to take a better look.
“It's just a small cut. You'll survive.” He says as he stands up, those blue, piercing eyes on you again.
That was... Weird. To say the least. You just don't get why it made you so nervous. You really need some time away from Billy to think and think very carefully, to get things figured out. “We should get going or we'll get left behind.”
“As you wish.” He gestures for you to move, and that's what you do. But when you're about to climb up the slope, Billy comes to stay near you, a hand on your side when you use the fallen tree to pull yourself up. You just decided you don't like him touching you. If that's what makes you nervous, you have to avoid it.
But how are you supposed to be friends with someone you can't touch? Friends hug all the time... Damn it, why does it have to be so confusing? You blame Billy for this, even though this is not really his fault. Or is it?
“Hey. Monica told me something about a car accident. In senior year.” You decide to ask, and hopefully get a nice conversation that will keep you from getting nervous.
“Yeah. I was going on a date when... I hit a deer and crashed the car.” By how dark his voice gets, you can tell those aren't pleasant memories.
“Was it bad?” You move to walk closer to him as if it would offer any kind of comfort.
“Very.” He confirms. “If it wasn't for my dipshit sister and her stupid friends I'd be dead.” Despite the mean names, he flashes a small, quick smile. “Things changed from that day on. I couldn't hate her anymore.”
“And why did you hate her before?”
“Everyone says I'm an asshole but I was an even worse asshole before. But that day, it just... Clicked. After years of having me treating her like trash, she still went through a lot of trouble to save my life.” He lowers his voice, barely a whisper now. “And I'm not sure I was worth saving back then.”
It breaks your heart a little, to see how some of his walls just fell to the ground. You wonder if he told this to all the girls he has been with. “And when are you going to introduce me to your sister?” You try lighting up the mood a little, elbowing him.
“Are you inviting yourself to my place?” His smirk is back, but it doesn't bother you. You're actually happy the heaviness in his voice faded away.
“No.”
“You already have a place to be on your next day off.” He's clearly not asking.
“I'm not going to your place, Billy.” Despite being glad the atmosphere changed, you still have to set up some boundaries.
“I'll make Max stay home. I'll even let her invite the kiddos.”
Running a hand through your hair, you start playing with the tip of the braid. “Only if you order pizza.” You give him a quick look, admiring his smile. “But I'm paying this time.”
“No way.”
“Then I'm not going.”
“You're very stubborn.”
“That I am.” Smirking at him, you move to walk backwards, right before him. “I'll stop by your place to meet your savior sister and her savior friends and I'll pay for the pizza. Deal?”
“You should really watch where you're going.” The moment he's done speaking, your back hits a tree. Billy comes closer, standing there, way too close for your taste, looking down at you. It reminds you of when he kissed your cheek, the sudden proximity that made your stomach burn before the feeling his lips on your skin. “Deal.” He whispers, moving away.
Closing your eyes for a couple of seconds, you take the deepest breath you can, thankful that he moved away. He's doing that on purpose, you're so damn sure. Rolling your eyes, you set in motion, now listening to the low chattering of the group.
“Billy. Let me get some water.” You quicken your pace until you reach him, searching through his backpack until you find your bottle. It's still cold, thankfully. “Want some?” You watch as he shakes his head no before you drink. You take a few sips, closing your eyes at the good sensation of the fresh water in such a heat. Suddenly you feel the bottle being pushed up, and the water spills all over your mouth and nose, rolling down your chest. Opening your eyes abruptly, the first thing you see it's Billy's amused smile.
“You're such a-” You move forward, holding the bottle tightly as you throw some water on him. “-idiot!”
He bursts into a laugh as the fight begins. You're struggling to throw what's left of the water on his face as he tries to hold your arms. “You gave me no choice.” He mumbles under his heavy breath.
“Shut up,” you yell, your voice altered by the laughs. You're trying to set free from his grip, but he's stronger. You use your body weight to try and make him move backward, anything that could give you a chance. “Jerk!” As you speak he somehow manages to take the bottle from your hand, throwing the water on you. But you think fast, moving your body closer to his as you push his arm, so the water ends up falling on both of you.
“Hey, kids!” Jason shouts, and your head immediately turns at the source of his voice. You're both frozen now, as you notice the whole group stopped, looking at you. “Let's go!”
Clearing your throat, you struggle not to let your mind process the closeness. How you pushed yourself onto Billy, collapsing on his chest. “Let's go,” you tell him, stepping away. “Jerk,” you repeat, failing to hold back the smile.

     ACCEPTANCE AND LETTING GO!
                       BY: ELIZON CAMANGYAN
Michelle is a sweet, lovely, and intelligent young lady with a brother named John lester . They are extremely close, and he is her savior, especially when they are children. Her brother is very protective of her and will not allow any boys to talk to her. Her parents advised us to keep an eye out for each other because they are happy together. Both of them were free of favoritism. Until this strange sensation, everything was perfect and amazing; everything was shifting, and nothing was in its proper place.
Brother, can we go home together later? Yes, youngest, I promise we'll go together. OK brother, thank you very much, and by the way, brother, , my classmates have arrived. Guys, krisan, Joanna, and Arjelyn John Lester is my older brother. As a result, we went first. Later on.  Michelle is your older brother, by the way. I like him because he's cute, but he's also tall.
By the way, do you guys have a creative writing assignment? Concerning essay writing. Yes, I have already done so. But I'll take the lead because my brother and I are currently on our way home together.
Where are you, brother? It's 6 p.m., and you haven't returned. I've texted and called hundreds of times, but you haven't returned my calls or texts. Hey, you haven't picked me up yet, and by the way, my name is Alfred, and I'd like to be with you. Anyway, I appreciate it. It's night, you're certain. Now let's get started. Okay.
Thank you, Alfred,  I'm sorry, youngest, but since I did it, I'm going to forget to bring you together a lot. I have to complete it. I'll be ahead of the two of you. Thank you, sir. We'll talk again tomorrow! Thank you once more.
What was the man's reason for delivering you? You might simply take a taxi. Wow, you said you'd bring me along. I waited for school for a few hours. My older brother, John Lester, did not show up. It's fortunate that Alfred joined me so that I can return home. Did you consider me? If only I had returned home. I'm sorry, I won't do it again, just don't get in Alfred's car. Sorry as well, buddy.
Brother I'll just be seeing my classmates. Okay, Michelle . Can you guys assist me? My older brother's birthday is on Saturday, and I'd like to surprise him. Hello, Michelle. Oh my gosh, Michelle, who is he? On the other side, the attractive. Since my brother  forgot to pick me up, he was the one who delivered me last night. Have you eaten, Alfred? If you want to be with us? I'm finished now. And if you aren't done yet. And if you're starving. Are you starving? Let's get some food. Oh my god Michelle, your brother has arrived; why is he with you, Youngest? I warned you not to speak with him.
Let us have a discussion outside. What exactly is it that we're doing wrong, Michelle? I'll say thank him for driving me home. Alfred likes you, don't you see? What is it about that place that makes it so bad? If he enjoys my company. He is a gentleman. Okay, you manage your own affairs. You're not interested in hearing what I'm saying. Sorry!
Guys, please assist me; tomorrow is my brother's birthday. I need to catch him off guard. Come along with me to the festival mall to purchase a gift. Okay, we'll meet you at the festival mall. Guys, let's get
2 / 3
started. Thank you. Let's go, I'm going to buy him a Gucci three-piece of t-shirts, Please join me in my quest. Okay, that's it. Michelle What is the age of your older brother? Tomorrow is his 22nd birthday. Oh my god He is accompanied by a lovely lady. She is attractive and tall. She is a transgender woman, not a girl . But you're implying that your brother is bisexual? I don’t know.  I'm not sure why I'm feeling this way when my brother is dating someone else. Why am I so envious? This is incorrect.
Michelle, you've arrived. What have you been up to? Have you had your meal yet? Where did you come from, brother? Computer shop I'm just curious as to why. Because I saw you with your hands still held by a lady. What is the name of that girl? Is she your girlfriend at the moment? Or But it's possible that you won't take me home with you because someone else has brought you something. Brother, speak up so I can figure out what's wrong with me.
You're curious as to why this is. Michelle, I love you more than my sister, and I regard you as such. So I'm  jealous every time you and Alfred are together. I just want to be with you. I really want you to be thinking all the time! I'm just interested in you. Is it possible for you to give it to me? Perhaps it isn't because I am your brother. I'm sorry, but I have the same feelings about you. I was envious when I first saw you, girl. Brother, I adore you as well.
I'm currently planning for a surprise for my brother. John Lester, have a wonderful birthday!!! You have now reached the age of 22. I wish good health and have lived a long time.
Brother how If they know dad and mom our relationship what will we do. What we children should know. Dad, Michelle and I are official couple . Don't you know what you're thinking. You're siblings. But dad we love. We love each other. Dad what is happening to you. Brother, dad can't breathe, call an ambulance. Hurry up,
Dad died of heart disease a few months ago. I told my brother that we should call it quits on our relationship.  I don't want us to come to a halt. Michelle, I will always love you. When you forget me, I'm going to commit suicide. I can't bear the thought of losing you to me. Michelle, don't abandon me. There are a lot of people who don't like our friendship. We are brothers, and Dad is right. We would be dissatisfied.
Mom, I'm sorry for what my brother and I did, but I think I just need to avoid my brother for a while so he forgets about me. Michelle, I know it's difficult for you to make the decision, but have you decided to go to America to pursue your studies? I'm not upset with your relationship with your older brother, but the two of you are going to have a difficult time. So, as long as you're happy, I'll back you up.
I cried my way to church because I was in such a mess. I was at a loss for what to do. When I leave here, I hope my brother John Lester understands why I’m going. Why are you crying, Michelle?  You dry your face with this handkerchief. You're aware. If you’re having trouble, they say  that “the road to true happiness is one of acceptance and letting go”.
I spoke with my older brother once more to make him realize that our relationship was not working. To persuade him that our relationship is only temporary. Thank you, Michelle, for reminding me that someone loves me no matter how I feel. Thank you for being there for me at all times. I adore you, my little one. When you leave for America, I hope you are cautious. Never, ever forget. Yes, take care of Mom here, brother. I love you!
After a few years, I received no news from my older brother, and I moved to America, where I married. To tell you the truth, it was my husband who gave me the handkerchief. Yes, Alfred, I am glad I married him, and we have two sons together.

Caught in the rain
youtube
I was caught in the rain, So I went the bar, just sitting there lost in my headphones, jamming out to Rupert Holmes song Escape, as I sip on a Pina Colada. I took off my headphones over hearing this tiring lady exclaim "I want to kill Donald." I felt her kinda mean. It was a fading recording of that old cliche "hey that's my name, she must be talking about me." I put my nose down my shirt, smelling myself. Because my dad always told me that iph someone is talking about you, you must smell. But I guess it was true as they say, he only had half a brain. So in the same dull routine, I get up & leave. I walk across the way to the other side of the bar that is called the DUNES OF THE CAPE at the bar O'MALLEYS I sit down, put my headphones on, sip on my Pina Colada, put my man Rupert Holmes back in, I sit there in my zone jamming out to Escape.
I get to the end of the song as I get near the end of Pina Colada. My glass of Champagne. I really like Champagne. I throw off my headphones, push my glass of Pina Colada aside. I go in for a sip of my Champagne, I over hear a group of people:
:Yea, I really think they they should put Donald in jail." Someone says as tears come out my eyes.
"...and Drop the soap on Donnie while he's in a prison shower." Someone says offending me. It reminded me of when i was in prison once and some guy walks up to me & says "I rape women" & I retort without emotion "Great, I eat rapists misogynistic pigs. And I'm hungry."
But I digress.
The horror went on. I was in full out rage mode.
"That Donald J needs to die." The last person says.
I just couldn't hold back. I drink back my glass of Champagne, tired of all this red tape. In all my years of coming to O'Malleys, I had never been treated like this. I pick up my headphones, start to walk over to the bar. My hip bumps into their table.
"Someone's had enough to drink tonight." One of them say with a laugh.
"Pace yourself, fat ass." Another one says.
"Its not your fault, slow down." Says the other.
I sit at the bar. I wait for the bar tender to come over to me. She walks over.
"What'll it be tonight." She says
"I'll have a Pina Colada, extra Pina & triple Colada."
"If you like Pina Coladas, and getting caught in the rainIf you're not into yoga, if you have half a brainIf you like making love at midnight, in the dunes of the capeI'm the love that you've looked for, come with me, and escape" sings the Bartender.
I crack a half smile. I hum along.
She puts the drink in front of me, I slurp it all up till I get a brain freeze.
"Did you like that?"
"Yes. I like 3 more."
"Ok."
" So wuts yr thought on Donald? The bartender says as she puts the 3 Pina Coladas in front of me. "I think he needs to be locked away, he's a bit mental."
" I like him." I start as I slurp down the 1st Pina Colada. "He's not a bad guy, he has flaws. He's tried in life. Made his mistakes, lots of mistakes." I continue as I slurp down the second Pina Colada. "He's had his heart break, his heart ache, he waited with high hopes he knew the curves of her face. But now just strangers that'll never meet again. He would've never been tired with her as her old lady, it would've never been too long, I,I,I would've never read the paper while she slept." I say as I drink the last Pina Colada. I get up on the bar and start to scream "Ya I like Donald, he's not bad. He's real. A working person, who would give you the shirt off his back." I strip down naked. "Here's my shirt, pants, underwear. Is this what all you want? You want me dead, so here's me exposed." I start to piss on ppl, and shit on the bar. " I don't know what I did to you, i don't know what I did to any of you to want me dead. So here is all of me. Take it all in."
"Who are you?" The bar tender asked.
"My name is Donald."
"No one wants you dead, asshole, they were talking about Donald John Trump should be in jail."
"Oh." I say, jump off the bar. "Yes, I like Pina Coladas, and getting caught in the rainI'm not much into health food, I am into champagneI've got to meet you by tomorrow noon, and cut through all this red tapeAt a bar called O'Malley's, where we'll plan our escape"
"Karaoke is tomorrow." The bartender says
I walk out into The rain, and walk home with my headphones on. I jam out to Rupert Holmes in my escape.

Whats happing right now in my life
Sooo yes we had like , 6 test , well , more like 3 but 2 for each one. It was confusing. But they were surprisingly easy. Soo today and this was the order:
English
Physics
Biology
Tomorrow we have World History and Chemistry. Thursday we have Algebra and Latin. I think tomorrow will be my hardest day of testing for me. Friday we'll just have a chil day. Watchin' movies or whatever. Kenpo it's a free day. We can mess around with the hula hoops, jump ropes, or something else. Lol,I'm sorry I'm watching the Croods. I love this movie. Mainly cause it reminds me of one of the only days I got to spend time with my dad. You know like , one of those days something bad happened to you and your dad was able to get you threw it? Yea, kinda was embarrassing though how it happened. Broke my finger..... How I did it though , that's embarrassing...(I fell of my scooter into a ditch) I WAS IN FORTH GRADE OK!?!? Leave ma be. But still it makes me a little sad. Here's why:
Me and my dad don't have the best father daughter relationship... I don't get to talk to him much and tell him things that I a daughter should be able to tell her dad.
I think it's because he got married to someone who has a daughter plus he decided to have a daughter with her when he doesn't even take care of me. Which hurts a lot.. He doesn't even call to check up on me. Like, IDK how long ago it was but I literally BEGGED him to come pick me up. This is what he said to me:
Oh, I don't want to start trouble.
Yet he- You know what I'm not even gonna say it. But he taking care of my Lil' bro,my step sister(who is a spoiled little brat), and my baby half sister. Annie is my step sister. She is apart of the reason that I really don't even know my dad. It feels like she replaced me.... It really hurts..... Any way I'm going to just go for now I'm crying my eyes out... Bye-bye for now

Our First Christmas
Clare: wasn't easily deterred. Once she had an idea in her head, it was hard for her to let go of it. "Of course she can pick the movie. I do want to find out what she likes. But just wait until Erika sees my chipmunks animated Christmas decoration." She nodded about the park. Clare returned the gentle kiss and started running her fingers through his hair in a soothing motion. She welcomed the change in subject not wanting to think about any family tonight except the one she was starting with Drew. She laughed joyously as Drew picked her up and spun her around. "Yes! We can have as many little Torres as we want!" Clare said with a lot more enthusiasm now that she knew it was welcome news. Maybe that wasn't entirely true. A tiny voice in the back of her head tried to remind her. Drew's kisses and her reaction to them drowned it out. "Well the doctor suggested I go off birth control a few months before we start trying, and I want to make sure I can fit into my wedding dress. So lots more practice until our honeymoon." Clare kissed him again before leaning back against the couch. "I'm glad I saved it. I wanted to tell you right away but it was too good of a Christmas present not to wait a day." She figured she'd savor this moment for awhile then tell him the doctor's words of caution. She was surprised by the knock on the door too. If it were Audra, the door would be open before they even had a chance to say come in or please don't. "I don't think it's my family either." Clare whispered, tensing up. She'd asked them to come over tomorrow. Who else would show up on Christmas Eve uninvited? She sunk lower into the couch while Drew investigated. Clare instantly felt transported to last year when every knock on the door sent a tingle of fear down her spine. What if the robbers finally found out where she'd moved to and came back? It was a silly irrational fear. Most likely it had been a crime of opportunity. Clare needed to remember she wasn't a target. She took the phone from him. "If who gets in? Who is he Drew?" When the man started yelling, it was a stranger's voice. To her. He seemed to know Drew and there was a look of recognition in her fiance's eyes. The banging on the windows scared her more and she punched a 9 and 1 on the phone's keys while Drew spoke to him. Clare saw the man through the window but she still didn't have a clue who he was. Her finger hovered over the 1 key, uncertain if she should punch it again. How dangerous was this guy?! What if he had a gun? Her palms started sweating, her breath became ragged and shallow. She wanted to call the police and run upstairs to check on Erika. She gasped and almost dropped the phone at the first revelation. Wait a minute? This man was Drew's dad?? Clare supposed it made some sense to want to reconnect with your son on Christmas Eve but there was obviously a reason he'd lost the right to be called 'Dad'. Threatening to break into their house obviously wasn't a good start to fixing their relationship! Clare was still in the dark about what had happened between Audra, her ex-husband, and Drew. Until Drew revealed something she'd never guessed, wasn't prepared for, and made her blood run cold. She didn't finish dialing 911 even though her desire to continued to grow as Drew reminded his abuser exactly what he'd done. Tears gathered in her eyes. Clare had seen Drew struggle with PTSD and concussions, she'd feared for his life before. However, this was the worst. His own (supposed) father put him in the hospital, almost killed him, and was trying to blame Drew and Audra for leaving? Was that really what she was hearing? He was crying and she wanted to go to him. Clare scoffed as the man claimed he wouldn't leave without meeting her and Erika. This was as close as she was getting to him and no way would she let him around a child. She was glad Drew called her his girlfriend. She didn't want this monster to know there would be a wedding to crash. He'd put Drew and Audra through enough already. Her heart ached at the realization that Audra's first marriage was abusive. Thank god she was strong enough to leave her ex-husband to save her son's life. This must be why Audra still checked up on Drew. She shuddered as Drew's 'dad' begged not be kicked out of his life, again. He wouldn't get another opportunity to hurt her Drew. Not ever. She was beyond scared but she'd be brave for him. When Drew walked over to her and sat down, Clare immediately wrapped her arms around him holding him tight. She shook her head as he spoke. She was glad she hadn't pressured him. Understanding Drew's past wasn't worth him rehashing it. She wished she could've prevented this ugly scene. "No baby. He only ruined his own Christmas, all of them." Clare said firmly. "One way or another he'll be leaving and then we'll do whatever you feel like doing." She promised kissing his cheek. It didn't matter if they skipped some of the traditional Christmas stuff. Spending the holiday together was what she really wanted. “I love you.”
Drew: smiled at Clare after she told him she loves her and that his dad didn't ruin their Christmas. He kissed her sweetly and smiled at her. "Ok, Erika picks the movies. If she wants to see the Chipmunks Christmas, we will. However when Deadpool comes out on video we're buying it and watching it in the bedroom. I seen previews and there is a lot of violence and probably sex. I saw a girl's breasts in it. Don't worry I saw the promos before Erika came into our lives and when I was alone." he assured. "Oh, and I'll cover your eyes when Deadpool goes on his killing spree. He turns someone into..." he thought for a moment. "What he said a human shish kabob, there's no blood, but I know it still may freak you out." he added and soon heard a knock at the door. "You're not getting in dad." he yelled out. "No it's the police the neighbors called due to a disturbance." he heard back and stood up to open the door. He explained the ordeal and how his dad already left and how he was going to see them after Christmas for a restraining order. The cop took the description of Drew's dad as well as the cop took notes. "We'll keep someone here and at your mom's just in case he comes back and tries to break in. We've been searching for this guy for years." the cop said. "What did he do?" Drew asked. "What didn't he do? Robbery in Vancouver, grand theft auto in Ragina, he's even wanted in other countries. You don't get on the World's Most Wanted list for nothing." the cop explained. "World's most wanted? Is that probably how he found me?" Drew asked. "We don't know he hadn't been active for about two years anywhere so we assumed he died, hid really well, or something." the officer explained. "But don't worry we'll stake out here and we'd like to keep police on both of you if that's ok?" he asked and Drew looked at him. "We won't go inside, we'll just stay out front of your places of work in our cars and keep a look out." he assured and Drew looked at Clare. "I don't have a problem with it." he assured and gave the cop what he needed to keep them safe. After the cop left Drew looked at Clare. "I hope they give him a taste of his own medicine when he goes to jail." he stated and looked out his window to see a van now parked across the street from his house with a cop drinking coffee. "At least we know we're extremely protected?" he shrugged trying to make light of the situation.
