Guess who just got their first physical album yesterday!!!!!!!!!!

You thought I was going to talk about something else...

First I want to address something that's been bothering me for a while:

JK's potato phone/internet connection.

The video quality of his broadcasts has been going downhill steadily and I wanted to take his phone and fling it into the Han River.

But then JK himself addressed the problem. Apparently the video quality was due to his wifi strength. And he fixed it. Yay! But not really.

Now I'll move on to other important things...

Jungkook spent the first 15 minutes beating himself up because he messed up the lyrics to Burn It during the D-Day concert. While critiquing himself harshly, he did an unboxing of his Agust D autographed D-Day album and showed us the photocards he pulled:

HE GOT THE SAME ONES I DID!!! A lot of us probably got those as well... anyway...

Then he watched a recording (a recording of the stream I guess?) of his segment of the concert and just kept shaking his head... poor baby really had a lot of regrets over his mistake.

He also knew his pitch was off during Seven and when he watched that clip of the concert all he could do was shake his head again... poor baby.

What doesn't kill us, makes us stronger, Boo. Do better next time. That's all you can do. Move on... live and learn... live, love, laugh and all that baloney.

He doesn't cut himself any slack because of the fact he was still fighting whatever head cold crud he's been having since his New York trip.

But he has a plan to redeem himself:

So after spending almost 50 minutes dwelling on that mostly, he jumps up with the urge to make a middle of the night snack of makguksu and proceeds to walk laps and pace around his kitchen island while holding the phone. So around and around we go...

Then he said he had to put towels in the dryer, but proceeded to grab the vacuum and disappear into the auxiliary kitchen/utility room? I'm confused. He obviously does not have a housekeeper.

JK continued to watch and listen to people who posted their covers of Seven. Though I did finish watching this live, it was over the course of the last few days and I think I will just end my comments about it here.

I started this blog post this past Monday before BigHit dropped the info about Tae's album that evening. The shitstorm that followed was fierce.

I saw it all and I had to take a break from all of that or lose my sense of why I love these guys. So I sat back and let the processes process.

Sometimes you have to do what you gotta do to stay sane.

We often move on from things very quickly here and now that we've entered Tae's solo era I think I will remain in my little bubble of Jimin and Jungkook.

Sometimes I wonder what the point of it all is...

SO! I have some reference pics, some of the guys haven't had the exact looks I've pictured/written but I'll do my best to explain 🥰

Seokjin baby has some wavy/curly blue black hair, something you'd see on a black panther (which essentially, he is) picture DNA era length, the first pic has the right curl/texture!

For my dear Yoongi, he grew out his hair and it has been his peak, truly. His hair is black as well, feathery/layered, with the sides shaved a bit above his (human) ears! You can imagine him during his tour right now - the pic w the shaved sides is what it would look like pushed back or when he ties it up to cook 🥺

For Hoseok, he technically never really had the precise red/brown color I picture, but I've found pics that are pretty close. His hair isn't orange or bright red like his ears! His is also wavy, but he has one of the shorter cuts.

Namjoon's got the silver hair! Sadly, not the mullet LOL but something shorter and more sensible. That golden era they were on tour and he had silver hair is how I imagine wolf joon - he styles it off of his forehead or leaves it down depending on what he's up to that day 🥰

Jimin!!! Is blonde because he is a natural blonde though it is more of a honey shade. I do picture like superhero, styled back, very neat for him, but it was kind of hard to find good reference. This is pretty much what I'm going for here (just a littttle shorter), my little cowboy~

Tae has got some good old shaggy black curls, his most flattering look imo. He's the grunge music boyfriend, I thought the look would pair well! I wanted Tae to not quite seem like a hybrid until you get closer to his reddish eyes-- his curls often mask his smaller ears!

And finally goth Jeongguk!!! He's got an undercut, chestnut brown and sort of highlighted multicolored brunette hair. I feel like this cut definitely fits his vibe and accents the antlers!

What does the shirt you are wearing look like? It’s white and has a gigantic print in the middle that’s black and red. It’s also a tad oversized, which I don’t mind as I’m into that style these days.

What was the last thing that stressed you out or upset you? I’m always dealing with a simultaneous bunch of things at work which keeps me constantly stressed, lol. One client just messaged me earlier, around 11 PM, so that was...fun; one has a knack for hounding me for updates on this and that and expects me to reply within five seconds; one is super anal and refuses to approve any material without it reaching 4-5 revisions; one has been taking forever to reply on anything since April, leading to campaign delays that at this point I don’t even give a fuck about anymore...it’s a jungle everyday where I work. How do you stay positive with all that life throws at you? 1) I’ve seen and experienced how things always manage to fall into place somehow, so I just stick it out during the ugly parts; 2) I need to stay alive at least until 2025 for reasons only anyone within the Bangtan universe would know, hah.

What quality do you admire most in other people? Being patient, because I am definitely not always.

What is the highest level of physical pain you have ever been in? rate 1-10 That would either be my foot infection when I was 11, or having to get six injections in a single day right after my dog bit me. I was even way more stressed out over the shots than the fact that I got a Real animal bite for the first time, lmao. The foot thing is a solid 10 but I would give the injections probably an 8? and it’s mainly because I was terrified of the amount of shots I needed to get and because it was the first time I’ve ever gotten injected on my thighs.

...same question, but with emotional pain? Nothing has been more difficult than the direct aftermath of my breakup three years ago. Giving it 10/10 seems too kind, lmao.

What is your most prized possession? All of the souvenirs from Yoongi’s concert. My ticket, the envelope it came in, the freebie card (not quite a photocard, it simply has the D-DAY in Bangkok print on it), and even all the freebies I managed to get.

Which YouTuber do you feel like you could be friends with easily? Anthony Padilla. He just seems so warm and personable, plus I feel the mutual Filipino blood would help us bond over stuff a lot more hehe.

Do you like your natural hair color? It’s fine. It’s not like I would’ve had a choice; most full-blooded Filipinos get black hair anyway.

Do you think you will dye your hair when you start going gray? Probably at the start, but I like to think I’ll learn to embrace it later on.

Are you pale right now, or do you have a tan? I am naturally tan; I’m never pale and have no desire to be.

Do you think you look best with a tan? Not really the target audience for this question but I will say that I love how my skin looks right after a vacation at the beach. The extra level of tan-ness just looks so nice.

What is your favorite app on your phone? YouTube. I constantly have videos on all day as background noise, regardless if I’m actually watching them or not.

How old were you when you got your first smartphone? Smartphone, that would be when I was around 17 when my parents got me an iPhone 5s. Before that I was always the friend who didn’t have her own phone and needed to update my parents about my whereabouts through my other friends’ phones, hahaha.

Are you living a life you want to escape from? or do you love your life? It’s not that I want to escape it, though I do get the sense that I could be doing and experiencing a lot more. I strongly feel that part of it also falls on me to have to push myself to try new things. I can’t attract the life and luxuries I want if I do nothing to get closer to them.

When was the last time you felt that life was good? When I was on my two trips about a month ago.

Do you have one big mistake that you've made that you want to fix? Nope. I’ll learn from mistakes, but I wouldn’t go back and change things.

Have you ever sat on a rooftop? So many times. We have a rooftop at home and I will stay there sometimes. I haven’t recently though because the weather has just been really unforgiving.

I will say though that I learned about The Japanese House’s newest album yesterday and spent some time last night listening to it, and in general it felt good to ‘come back’ to one of my favorite artists.

Do you like to watch talent shows like America's Got Talent and X Factor? I loved watching American Idol as a kid and a few years back I did have a phase where I was obsessed with golden buzzer compilation videos, but I don’t watch talent shows in general these days.

I think we all wish we found bts earlier than when we did so that's very relatable. I can tell you that I remember everyone losing their minds over filter and my time like those were the two that everyone went nuts over, and rightfully so! And I agree, Yoongi's attitude during festa was very cool, he's just so comforting

I'm sorry you're feeling down :( I can relate to the feeling of being just tired and drained and it sucks. I definitely get wanting to have some time to yourself or wanting to get away for a bit. I hope you can get in touch with yourself and start feeling a bit better. But like be gentle and patient with yourself! It's ok to feel down, I just hope it doesn't last much longer. BTS Reaction | You Don’t Pull His Photocard [Request]

Seokjin:

Jin seemed nervous after he gave you the album, he'd brought it home from work. They weren't even out for fans yet but he wanted you to be the first person to have one since he loved you so much.

"Jin it's just an album," You giggled, you'd already heard all of the songs so you didn't see why he was making such a big deal over it until you opened the album to see your cards.

"Oh cool!" You yelled picking up the Jungkook photocard and smiling brightly.

"You got Kookie?!" He yelled taking the album from your hands and placing another one into them,

"How many did you bring me?" You started laughing but he didn't find it very funny. He picked up his bag to show you six other albums all sitting in the bag,

"I figured one of them would at least have mine in it." He mumbled waiting for you to open the second one he had given to you. He knew how much you liked to display the photocard you got with each album in your phone case and he wanted this one to be him. The last one was a Jimin one from the Persona Album and he was determined to be in your phone case from now on.

Yoongi:

Yoongi hadn't thought about it at first, not until he was leaving work and Jungkook reminded him that you always put the photocard you got with your album in your phone case for the first month of having it. It was like a small tradition to you to do whenever you got a new one.

"I GOT MY BIAS!" You yelled out jumping up from the sofa and surprising Yoongi as he came back into the living room holding two cups of coffee, he almost spilt them but once he put them down on the coffee table he began to jump up and down with you.

"You got me!!" He yelled back but you froze and stared at him, slowly turning around the car to reveal that you'd gotten Jin instead,

"Jin's your bias?!"

"You thought you were?" He scoffed at you wrapping his arms around your waist,

"I thought I was yeah." You smirked looking at him and shaking your head. He'd be lying if he said he wasn't jealous that Jin was going to get to walk around in your phone case now but he growled pulling you closer.

"I get one thing that Jin doesn't." You cocked your eyebrow up confused by what he meant when his lips came into contact with yours.

Hoseok:

He was doing his best not to get so worked up about it but everyone could tell how bothered by it he really was. Namjoon's photocard was displayed in the back of your clear phone case for everyone to see, cute bright stickers all around it along with love hearts but it was what you did with every photocard you got which was what Hoseok was trying to remind himself of every time he saw it but it wasn't quite doing the trick.

"Cute! Look at the little stickers that Y/n has for their case," Jimin chuckled picking up your phone and showing it off for you, you looked at him smiling until you caught a glimpse of sadness on Hoseok's face.

"Jimin. Stop," You whispered trying to snatch the phone away when Hoseok snapped.

"We get it! Y/n has Namjoon in their phone! Big deal!" He walked out of the room in a huff and you sprinted after him wanting to try and comfort your boyfriend in any way that you could, feeling bad for not pulling him.

"Hobi..."

"Leave it. I'm not bothered." He mumbled, he clearly was bothered by it though and you weren't about to just drop the subject.

"Hoseok you know as well as I do I never have any luck. I've always wanted to pull your card but I can never ever, pull my bias." You pouted crawling under his folded arms and staring into his eyes.

"Never?" You shook your head, he was starting to feel a little better.

"Maybe you can give me my own special photocard, one that no one else has." You suggested while poking his cheeks to try and get that smile you loved so much out of him.

Namjoon:

You came back in from a lunch date with Jungkook that day and smiled at Namjoon,

"Hi Joonie, how was your day? Mine? Thanks for asking, mine was great. I had this really nice conversation with Jungkook this morning and went to show him my phone." You pulled out your phone which was supposed to have a photocard of Jungkook sitting in the back but instead was met with a picture of Namjoon, one that you'd never seen before.

"F-Funny that." Namjoon stuttered out slowly closing his laptop and looking at you,

"Yeah I know, so I went to show him my photo cards...You know, the ones I keep in my bag." It was true, you kept your photo cards in a tiny bag sized folder to flick through whenever you needed the boost.

"But all of them had been replaced." He frowned shaking his head,

"What a weird anomaly," You shook your head at him while laughing, throwing the small folder in his direction,

"So you have no idea how all of them are now photos of you, my boyfriend?" You laughed it off walking over to him and kissing him on the lips, you had no idea he'd been so bothered about it until now.

Jimin:

Jimin had a stack of his photo cards in his bag at the ready, he wasn't about to risk you getting one of the other boys to put in your phone when you managed to pull him in every album before this one.

"Jimin..." He smirked proudly expecting to turn around and see you standing there with his but he was surprised to see Taehyung sitting on the photo card, the smile on it seemed smug now that he looked at it.

"No." He mumbled trying to take it away from him but you held it out of his reach,

"It's cute, he's going in my case." You teased him but coming across serious, he mumbled something still trying to grab the photo card.

"Jimin I always display-" You stopped midsentence when he knocked his bag over to reveal a bunch of photo cards spilling onto the floor all with his face on,

"I can explain that." He rushed out looking from the photos to you,

"Go on then..."

"They were...I was going to give them to fans..." He stopped when he realised you weren't buying into the lie and he rolled his eyes at you, holding out one of the photos for you to choose from but you insisted on keeping the Taehyung one.

Taehyung:

Taehyung was acting as though the whole thing wasn't bothering him even though it had been his idea in the first place for him to bring you an album home and you open it.

"I won't display it if it makes you uncomfortable." You whispered when you pulled the Yoongi photo card, he'd hoped you'd get him. But he had no control over who got who within the albums it was the luck of the draw.

"I told you it's fine," He lied looking at your phone, it was all he'd done since the moment you put the photo of Yoongi inside of it.

"Tae..." You whispered feeling guilty about it but he continued to tell you it was no big deal. You kissed his cheek taking your phone and disappearing upstairs only to come back down with a new case on your phone.

"What's this?" He questioned turning it around to see that on the back were photos of you and Taehyung together, the whole case was made up of photos of you both being the happy couple you were.

"Much better than a photo card," You whispered leaning across and kissing him on the cheek, he smirked looking at the case.

Jungkook:

It was something you and the boys would do together, all of you would open up an album each as if you were Army - which you were which made the process all the more fun for you.

"I got Jimin," Jungkook laughed holding up the Jimin photo card, they all went around telling one another who they got and then it got to you.

"It's not important." You whispered closing the album but Namjoon reached out to take it from you,

"Namjoon I said it doesn't-"

"Y/n pulled Hobi," He chuckled holding up the photo card that was holographic and changed to a second photo of Hoseok when you turned it at the right angle.

"Right! Who wants to swap!" Jungkook yelled out taking the Hoseok photo card and trying to get Yoongi to swap with him since he was the one with a Jungkook photo card,

"Not me, I don't have this one," Yoongi smirked knowing that Jungkook was acting like the jealous boyfriend. They all knew what you did whenever you got a new phot card and they were dying to see the look on Jungkook's face when it wasn't him in your phone case for the first time since you'd started dating.

"Come on! You don't even care for photo cards." He whined out but you snatched your photo card back and began changing it right away.

:BTS OT7 Reaction:

You were nervous getting ready that morning for the fansign and you didn’t really understand why. You were still a month away from your due date, but you just had a weird feeling about today. You just chalked it up to nerves from finally getting to meet your favorite group and got ready to head out the door. 

As you all were herded into the room to wait in line for the members you felt some discomfort in your stomach. You rested your hand on there and rubbed gently over it. You felt your daughter kick up into your hand and smiled. Your baby was okay, maybe a little bit more active today than usual and that was why your stomach was feeling weird. As the members came in and sat at their chairs everyone clapped and cheered loudly. They all smiled and waved but when Namjoon and Hoseok spotted you their smiles turned even wider and waved more enthusiastically. You didn’t understand why. You had never met them before. Did they have you confused with someone else? You snapped back out of your thoughts and waved shyly back. The line started to move and you began feeling some pain in your stomach. It was minor, nothing really alarming. But you felt your heart rate pick up slightly in worry. 

Oh please not here baby, just hold off at least until the signing is over.

You know she can’t read your thoughts but hope that some force in the universe is listening to you so you don’t go into labor right now. You approach Namjoon first and his dimples are on full display as he smiles at you.

“Hi! What’s your name?”

“It’s y/n.” 

“It’s so nice to meet you. I hope this isn’t weird to say but you are absolutely glowing! When are you due?”

“Oh you really think so? Thank you so much. I’m due in just over a month actually. Although I have a sneaking suspicion she’s coming earlier than I thought.” His eyes widen at that. 

“Like here? Now?! Oh my gosh do you need me to call someone?” You laugh and shake your head at his slightly panicked expression.

“No no it’s fine. I didn’t mean now. Thank you for your concern though.” He nods and smiles at you again.

“Well I wish you the best. You and your baby.” He signs your album and passes it down to Hoseok next who’s absolutely beaming at you. 

“Hello! Oh my goodness you look adorable. And hello little one!” He waves at your stomach. “Are you having a boy or a girl?”

“A girl.”

“Did you name her yet?”

“Hmm nope. I have an idea, but I think the final name will come to me after she’s born and I can see her.” Hoseok smiles and signs your album you see what he’s written and feel a warmth spreading in your chest. 

To y/n and her little one! I hope you grow up happy and fill the world with hope.

“Hoseok that is so sweet. Thank you.”

Yoongi is next and he barely gets a hello out before a sharp pain wracks through your stomach. You double over in pain. Yoongi shoots out of his chair and places a hand on your back. 

“Hey, are you okay?”

You shake your head and he waves the staff over. But before any can reach you, you feel your water break. Yoongi’s eyes widen. 

“Oh my gosh. You’re going into labor. Oh god what do I do?!” He looks to Namjoon for help who’s eyes are just as surprised as his. He walks over to you with a few staff members and they help guide you to a back room away from the prying eyes of the fans. Yoongi tries to shuffle back with you but the staff tell him to sit. He grumbles in frustration and sits back down, nervously biting his nails as he’s worried about you. He heard you tell Namjoon your baby wasn’t due for another month. Were you and your baby okay?

You sit on a couch and groan loudly in pain again as another contraction hits. You don’t realize that you’re squeezing the life out of Namjoon’s hand until he makes a hiss in pain. You immediately let go. 

“Sorry!” 

“No no it’s okay. The staff called an ambulance for you they should be here any minute.”

“I don’t think she’s going to wait another minute, Namjoon.” 

He looks at your stomach and points his finger at your belly. 

“Hey! Listen little princess. I know you want to make your grand entrance early but at least wait until you get to the hospital! Do your mom a favor okay?” You laugh at that but it’s quickly cut off by another pained noise.

“Namjoon! EMS is here now they’ll take y/n to the hospital." Everything happens so fast you don’t even register you’re in the ambulance until you go over a bump and another painful contraction hits. You also didn’t notice Namjoon asking the staff which hospital they were taking you to. 

Shortly after you had arrived to the hospital you had given birth to a healthy baby girl. She looks just like you. She doesn’t cry very much as she is instantly soothed and stops crying once she is placed in your arms. You feel tears welling up in your eyes as you glance down at her, already so in love with her and wanting to do everything you can to make sure she grows up happy and healthy. You thought back to the message Hoseok had wrote for you in your album and can’t help but think that you picked the perfect name for her. You are singing softly to her under your breath when there is a knock on your door. Your nurse comes in with a confused look on her face.

“Um.. miss y/n? There is group of guys here to see you. Um.. 7 of them? Actually BTS is here to see you? I don’t even- Okay sorry I was just so flustered seeing all of them walk in. But they want to visit you should I let them?”

Now it’s your turn to be confused. You tilt your head but nod slowly. A few moments later you see Hoseok pop his head in. 

“Hey Mama!” He sings at you and you can’t help but immediately laugh. Your baby starts to fuss in your arms and Hoseok slaps a hand over his mouth and whispers out a sorry. He approaches you and looks down at your little girl sleeping happily on your chest.

“She’s so cute!” Soon all of the members peek their heads in and wave, smiling fondly at the two of you. 

Jimin walks in with a giant bouquet of flowers in his hand, Jungkook has a pink bear and Taehyung has a bouquet of pink balloons. They all set the gifts beside you on the table and you feel tears immediately welling up in your eyes. 

“You guys.. you didn’t have to come here and you especially didn’t have to get me anything!” Jin grabs a tissue and lightly pats your eyes with it to dry your tears since your arms are full with your daughter. 

“Nonsense. Of course we had to come and check on you and make sure you were okay. We all were worried when you went into labor. Poor Yoongi over here I think nearly chewed all his nails off because he was so nervous.”

“Shut up, hyung I did not. I just... didn’t want anything bad to happen to her or the baby if she didn’t make it to the hospital in time.”

“I guess my stern talking to worked.” Namjoon puffs out his chest proudly and you giggle quietly. 

“Thank you all so much. Really. This means so much to me you don’t understand I wish I could repay your kindness.”

“You don’t have to thank us, really.” Namjoon says.

“Actually there is something you can do.” Taehyung says. You lift your eyebrow at him in question. “Sends lots of baby photos! And pictures of you too. We want to watch your little one grow up too. I know it might seem weird since we just met and all but, this baby is special to us too since you’re our fan and almost gave birth at our fan meet! I think it’s like a sign or something.” You feel fresh tears pooling in your eyes that the boys already care about you and your baby so much even if they only spoke a few words to you.

“Yeah! I agree with Taehyungie. Please let us still see her! Maybe even visit every once in a while. We can be like, her cool but overprotective uncles.” Jimin says with a giggle. 

“And I can give you some of the baby shoes in my studio!” Namjoon offers. 

“You guys stop you’re going to make me cry again!” Jin wipes at your eyes again and you thank him. “I would love to. My phone is in my purse just put your contact numbers in there.” Jungkook walks over and grabs your phone. He smiles when he sees Hoseok’s photo card in the back of it. 

“Ah, so we all know now who your bias is.” He flashes the phone so the other members can see and you blush madly. 

“Don’t get me wrong! I always switch out my photocards because I don’t have a bias. You guys are all so sweet in your own ways and are funny and incredibly handsome. I couldn’t possibly pick a bias.” They all smile at that but Hoseok speaks up from the seat next to your bed. 

“But we all know I’m your favorite. It’s okay I won’t tell them.” He winks at you and you can’t help the chuckle that escapes you. 

“Hey, noona what’s the password for your phone?” Jungkook asks. 

“The day you debuted. 061313.” Jungkook smiles at that and puts the code in. He passes it around to the other members and they all put their number in. Yoongi is the last to and he creates a group chat for you and the other members. 

“There. Now we can all see whatever photos you want to share with us.” 

“Can we take one with you now?” Taehyung asks with his eyes shining. 

“Sure. Can you ask my nurse to come in and take it for us?”

A few moments later you are surrounded by all of them and the photo is taken. You share it with the group chat and they all coo over how cute you and your baby look. 

“By the way what did you name her?” Namjoon asks. 

“Oh.. well I named her Hope. Because that’s what you all have given me. When I was struggling in my pregnancy and darkness threatened to take over I would listen to your music and I immediately was filled with happiness and hope. And also because whenever I played Hoseok’s mixtape she always seemed to be the most active and it felt like she was dancing in my stomach. Plus I also kind of thought it was very fitting too because of what Hoseok wrote in my album.” 

Hoseok pumps his fist in the air. “Ha! I told you I was the favorite! I’m gonna be the favorite uncle you hear that?”

“No fair! You don’t know who she’s gonna like best. She’s a baby!” Jin argues. You watch them all bicker amongst themselves and can’t help but laugh and feel a fondness blooming in your chest watching them all. 

“Why do I feel like I now am going to have 8 children in my life?” You ask Namjoon who has been quietly watching them with the same fond expression on his face. 

 “7 children. Don’t include me in on their chaos.” You laugh at that and Namjoon brings his hand over to gently run his hand over your daughter’s head. 

“Hope is a good name. It suits her. You’re going to be a great mother y/n.”

“Thank you. That means a lot to me.”

“And I know we don’t know each other very well yet but I hope we can all change that. And if you ever need help with anything just let any of us know.”

“Okay. I will.” 

“I’ll take the kids home. You go ahead and get some rest. We’ll come back and see you tomorrow?” He says it as a question, leaving the option for you to say no.

“I would love that.”

Let’s talk: BTS decorating their BE photocards (BangtanB)

Today BH posted a Bangtan B*mb of the members decorating their BE photocards and honestly, it was just too funny of a video to not post some comments about it. If you haven’t seen it yet, please do since it’s an amazing happy boost, and also showcases the differences in the members personalities really well in the way they approached the decorating and the final results.

Before I get into it properly, can we please talk about Namjoon for a moment? His duality? The way he can be so cute and silly and cover his photocard almost completely in cute glittery stickers and then turn around and look like this? I wasn’t ready. For those who saw my post yesterday about the LGO videos, yes, I still haven’t recovered lol.

Okay, now, lets talk about the video and the cutest/funniest moments.

(Not to be me but gotta love how Jimin’s and Tae’s photocards are stuck togetehr/connected through the pink sparkly squiggly line sticker, cute. Also it looks like Hobi turned himself into a cute cat boy haha.)

The first duo were the 94 liners, Namjoon and Hobi, and right off the bat it made me smile and laugh so much. Hobi started out trying to make it at least somewhat neat, complained about how he’d stuck the J a little crookedly onto the photocard, but sooner rather than later escalated into just going all out with different hearts and squiggly lines to the point of giving himself heart shaped purple space buns and a pink tail.

Meanwhile Namjoon’s plan seemed to be just covering the entire photocard in stickers, except for his face. He added flowers and squiggly lines, even at one point tried to scratch off one of the stickers to adjust its placement which, I mean, is very Namjoon. Also, the sheer size difference of their hands and those tiny stickers? And Hobi’s proud smile?

Next up was Jimin with Seokjin and they were my faves in this hands down. The way they work off of each other and make each other (and us) laugh is just so fun and entertaining to watch. Their dynamic is amazing! I love how Jimin wanted to stick an A in hangul onto Seokjin’s photocard (turning Jin into Jan) and at first Seokjin told him not to do it, not to touch other people’s art, but of course he has the worlds biggest heart and soft spot for the members so he allowed Jimin to do it in the end. 

Three times.

And like that wasn't enough, Seokjin discovered one of the pink squiggly sparkly lines and called it ‘pink poop’ deciding he wanted to stick that onto Jimin’s photocard right above his head. Which, in the end, Jimin also let him do. Adorable.

Their themes were also just so...them. Jimin sticking to flowers (with Seokjin suggesting that he should add a stem below his face so he’d literally be a flower, which Jimin didn’t accept) to match the photocard itself while Seokjin went for “twinkle twinkle little human star” and literally added a yellow star onto his face and surrounded that with even more stars. If that doesn’t scream Seokjin, I don’t know what does, and I mean that in the most endeared way possible.

Even more so when we think back to the BE Unboxing in units (11:55 onward) where they were supposed to add star stickers as rating along with a review right onto the cover of BE. There, too, Seokjin covered most of the cover in stars, the amount most certainly exceeding any rating system for albums. 

Then we had Tae along with JK, the only duo that was relatively quiet as they worked, their section less filled with laughter. This isn’t a bad thing, of course, just means they were focused at their task which makes sense in the context of their personalities. Both are visual artists in their own right, JK usually sticking more to videos and photography (though he also draws), while Tae also dabbled into painting, so it was interesting to watch how they approached the task, both of them ending up with results that were far more minimal and neat than those of the previous pairs.

Tae even made a joke about how their photocards decorated with their names alone simply have name value and would sell for five billion won at an auction. I mean, he’s probably not wrong about that...

And lastly we had Yoongi on his own, his segment likely having been filmed a while before the other members judging by the background and when his surgery was. He also worked relatively quietly, though that was likely due to the fact that he was on his own. Looking at how many options there were, I thought to myself that I’d simply be overwhelmed by too much choice. 

The cutest thing about his decorating though was how in the end he concluded that he’d want to give his photocard to Hobi so he can keep it in his wallet. Which is even cuter when we think back to FESTA 2020 and how Yoongi had won a Hobi photocard which he’d put in his own wallet. Those two are so soft for each other.

And like all of that wasn’t cute enough, we got this adorable Hobi selca.

Overall it was a really, really fun Bangtan B*mb full of laughter and the members having amazing chemistry with each other. Such a simple idea, having them decorate their photocards, and yet the result is so good! 

But, speaking of decorating photocards, could you imagine actually doing that with any of your own? Because honestly I can’t. I’m not necessarily one of those ARMY who collect all the photocards etc and yet I still value mine too much to attempt anything like this out of fear that I’d just ruin them. Same with my ARMY B*mb. Even though I’d love to have the handle covered in rhinestones to match Namjoon’s sky blue mic, Seokjin’s pink one, Yoongi’s black one, or JKs purple iridescent one, but I’d never be brave enough to even give it a try. After all my ARMY B*mb permanently lives in its box so it won’t break or fall or something could happen to it in general.

Anyway, sorry for going on a tangent. The point though is that this was a great Bangtan B*mb with perfect timing for a Sunday.

Christmas Manito

Min and Mun join the boys for the Korean version of secret Santa.

“Wowww, Mun-ah!! I can’t believe you were able to cook this much food in one day!” Hobi said to Mun as he entered the dorm kitchen and looked all around at the baked goodies and snacks. “Well, it wasn’t just me though, I had help,” she said, eyeing Seokjin who was taking out his puff pastries from the oven… one of the things that she taught him to bake during one of their many cooking sessions. “Mun-ah!!! They’re perfectly baked this time!” he said excitedly, tilting the pan over towards Mun to show her. “See? I knew you’d get them mastered,” she said reassuringly with a huge smile on her face.

“Aish, they’re too cute,” Hobi said under his breath as he turned to leave the kitchen, though it was just loud enough for Mun to hear. A few seconds later, Taehyung roamed into the kitchen to have a look as well. “Tae! Come help me finish decorating the cookies,” she said to her fellow artsy friend. He went over to her and peered over her shoulder, seeing sugar cookies shaped like stockings, Christmas trees, and snowmen. “They’re so festive!” he said, taking the green icing that was being handed to him by Mun. “Are Min and Jimin back yet?” she asked him. He nodded and said, “they just got back with the pizza a bit ago.”

“The whole dorm smells so sweet!!” Jimin said as he placed the pizzas on the side table set up in the living room table. Min nodded in agreement and said, “they must be baking up a storm in there!” “I hope they’re almost done though, I’m so hungry!!” Jungkook said, laying on the couch. Namjoon and Yoongi both appeared from their rooms and put their gifts under the Christmas tree just as the three chefs came out of the kitchen with all the baked goodies. They put them on the table next to the pizza, causing Hobi to say “WoW!” and pull out his phone to take pictures.

All seven members and their two friends fixed their plates and began eating, sitting on the couches and on the floor… wherever they could find space. “Ok, so who is going to start the manito game?” Jimin asked, eagerly, wanting to know who his manito was. “Let’s use rock, paper, scissors to decide!” Namjoon said. They proceeded to do so, and Mun won, making her the first to give her gift to the person whose name she drew. She got up from her seat in between Seokjin and Tae on the couch and pulled her colorfully wrapped gift from under the tree.

She walked over towards Jimin and acted like she was going to give it to him before turning around last-second and giving it to Jungkook. Jimin pouted and the whole room was full of laughter. “Merry Christmas, Jungkookie!” Mun said before sitting back down. He bowed his head in gratitude and opened his present. It was a small travel art kit with a sketchbook, pens, and pencils. “Since you’re about to travel the world, I thought sketching would be a good way for you to document your trip!” Mun said as Jungkook looked at his gift admiringly. “JK JK it’s your turn!!” Jimin said.

Jungkook got up from his seat and pulled out his gift from the tree. Like Mun, he acted like he was going to give it to Jimin before handing it to Min who was sitting right next to him. Min smiled and said, “thank you, JK!” She opened up the perfectly wrapped gift and tried not to freak out of excitement. It was a nice pair of Bluetooth headphones that she had talked to him about a while ago when doing his makeup. “You’re always listening to music during our makeup sessions… and your old headphones were falling apart,” he said with a chuckle.

Min was next, and she followed suit by getting up and pulling her gift from under the tree. Of course, she couldn’t help but tease Jimin, causing him to pout and fall out of his chair while everyone else laughed. She handed her gift to Namjoon, saying “Merry Christmas, Joon!!” as she did so. It was rather heavy, so he sat it on his lap and ripped the paper off it. Min had been telling Namjoon to read the Lord of the Rings for months now, since he enjoyed the movies… so that’s exactly what she got him, knowing how much he loved reading. “Wow, Min!!! This is too much!! Thank you, manito!!” he said, bowing gratefully with a big smile as she sat back down.

After pretending to give Jimin the gift, Namjoon proceeded to give his gift to Yoongi, who was sitting next to Seokjin. He pulled the tissue paper out of the bag and broke down laughing, along with Seokjin, who had peered into his bag too. “Oh?? What is it?” Hobi asked curiously. “It’s underwear, I’m not pulling it out,” he said with a pink face, knowing that there were two ladies present. “Namjoon-ah! How did you even know his size?” Seokjin asked, still dying from laughter. “We wear the same size!” he said, causing everyone to laugh even louder. “So practical!” Hobi commented.

Yoongi got up to get his gift, causing Jimin to sit up taller in his seat… only for Yoongi to go back straight to his seat, handing the bag to Seokjin beside him. “Aish!! Yoongi-ah!! What kind of gift is this?!” Seokjin whined, pulling out a large stand-up photo of Suga, a Suga fan, a pair of Shooky socks, and other forms of Suga merch. “I thought you could put my photo on your desk so you can see me while you game,” Yoongi said with a smirk. “Aish!! Yoongi-ah!! So conceited!” Seokjin said, dramatically, causing everyone to laugh.

He got up and brought his gift straight to Taehyung, causing Jimin to roll his eyes restlessly, wondering if he would ever get a gift. Tae took the tissue paper out of the bag and first pulled out an iPhone case with RJ on it, then a Jin photocard, RJ keychain, and a Jin poster. “Hyung!! This is as bad as Yoongi-hyung!!” Tae laughed as he pulled out each item and showed everyone. Seokjin’s windshield wiper laugh filled the room as Yoongi playfully slapped his roommate’s arm. “So conceited, huh??” he playfully whined. “Wait, no it’s worse!” Tae said, taking a closer look at the RJ phone case. “I don’t even have an iPhone!” he said.

Through his tears of laughter, Hobi looked at the phone case and said, “oh!! Mun-ah has an iPhone XR, right? This would fit her phone!!” Everyone looked at Seokjin as his laughter shifted from windshield wiper to a nervous laughter, his ears turning bright red. Tae’s boxy smile got even wider as he shook his head and put everything back in the gift bag, passing it over to Mun sitting next to him, as the gift was obviously geared towards her.

Tae’s turn started with him getting his present, and… finally, giving it to Jimin, who was still eagerly waiting. “Ahhh, finally!!” he said, opening the gift. It was a small dumpling-shaped plushie with Tae and Jimin’s initials stitched onto it. “I thought it would be a good reminder for us to not fight,” Tae said with a smile. Jimin jumped out of his seat and hugged his friend before he could sit back down. “Let’s not fight again!!” he vowed, going over to the tree and getting his gift while he was up, handing it to Hobi. “Jimin-ssi!!! This is too cool,” Hobi said, pulling a polaroid camera, film, and photo book out of the bag excitedly.

“Ok, ok, last but not least!” Hobi said in a sing-song voice, taking the last present under the tree and handing it to Mun. She received it gratefully and opened the package to reveal a purple apron with a subtle BTS logo on the front. She stood up and put it on immediately, then recognized that there was handwriting all over the inside. She took it back off and read the notes, seeing that each of the members had written something to her. “Hobi!! This is so great,” she said, trying not to get caught up and take the time to read all the notes just yet.

“It’s for you to wear at work!! Even though we’ll be on tour, you can always have us with you and think about us during the day!” he said, smiling at Mun. She dropped to her knees to meet Hobi on the floor and pulled him into a tight hug, nearly knocking him over. “It’s so perfect… thank you,” she said, still holding onto him. Seokjin joined them on the floor, wrapping his arms around Mun, then was followed by Tae, Jungkook, Min, and all the others, so that everyone was piled on top of each other in a group hug on the floor. “Merry Christmas, everyone!!” everyone said to each other, just so happy to be together.

Borahae Slimes Haul #2 Review!

Dean ( @eternalseokjin​ ) restocked with some new slimes, so of course I had to snatch a few!

Full disclosure, Dean is my friend and knew my birthday recently passed so he gave me some extra goodies (a free full slime, extra candy, and I’m pretty sure the amount of photocards and stickers were extra too lol. Dude gave me 3 Yoongi photocards because he knows how soft I am for that man) with this because he’s just amazing and sweet like that ^-^ Thank you, Dean!

I was lucky for the order to come really quickly, especially during this time of year. And once I started opening up the package, I got so excited! (And a surprise blessing with the extra containers as well, for reasons I’ll explain later). Keep reading for a detailed review with pictures!

I’ll Show You

I’ll Show You is themed after the song ‘Magic Shop,’ and has such a lovely, relaxing scent. It comes with little iridescent flakies (if you’re a fan of Simply Nailogical like Dean and I, you’d probably call it Unicorn Skin) that are optional to put in, as well as a key charm. The flakies do somewhat poke your hand while you play with it, but it’s not hard at all so unless you have very sensitive hands I don’t see it being a problem.

The color is a gorgeous iridescent cream, and the flakies add another really nice layer to it as well. It’s a very beautiful slime, and I easily see myself taking it out when I’m having a rough day because of how lovely and calming the chamomile and lavender scents are.

Anpanman

The slime is themed after the song of the same name and comes with a  custom-made clay charm with a comic-style onomatopoeia (recommended to NOT store inside the slime). The version I bought is the Bingsu one, since I didn’t know if I’d enjoy larger blocks being in my slime.

There is an option to leave it unscented to keep the clear slime from getting cloudy/tinted by it, but I really LOVE the blue raspberry jolly rancher scent and am so glad I opted to keep it! I enjoy the soft crunchy texture to the Bingsu, and this slime is just jam packed with them so it’s super satisfying to play with!

Until Spring

This one is themed after ‘Spring Day,’ and comes with 4 individually packaged colors which you can mix as you please, and a snowflake charm. One is a thick white snow fizz, the pink a bingsu (not quite as packed as Anpanman), and the blue and purple are clear-based slimes. The metallic shimmer of the blue is GORGEOUS, and I almost feel guilty for blending it all into the overall mixture.

The end result is this beautiful pastel purple, with the sporadic snow fizz and pink bingsu adding a unique texture. The smell is also very soft and lovely.

Sweet Life

Sweet Life is themed after BTS’ recent single, ‘Dynamite!’ The clay donut and record charm (again, recommended to NOT store inside the slime) are both handmade by Dean, and it also comes with a small bag of fake sprinkles. The donut came wrapped in plastic wrap and inside a smaller plastic tub than the slimes. And the slime itself is a very sweet scent - a little too strong to me personally, but nothing I can’t handle.

Alright, now this is the only hiccup I had in the order, so I’ll explain what happened. 

While I did think something was a bit odd when I tore the donut in half, I didn’t pay enough attention before I started trying to mix it with the slime. It turns out, the container the donut was shipped in ended up getting cracked during shipment, and the clay had half dried by the time it got to me. So it was rather hard trying to mix that part into the slime. You might be able to tell in the second picture above, that there are chunks hardly mixed, if at all, into the slime.

Knowing that it was because the container ended up cracked doesn’t personally make me too concerned that others would have the problems I did. I spoke with Dean about it, and he helped me figure out what to do. The part I already started mixing with the slime started to absorb moisture from it and became softer and easier to work with as I let it just sit for a bit. The other half, I put into a (not cracked, airtight) container and poured just a bit of water on it. I let it sit while I was working with Until Spring, and periodically went back to it to mix up the slime or knead the water into the clay to help it along.

It didn’t take too long before it was able to all mix together and I ended with my final slime! I really love the texture. It’s really thick, almost like a putty and super satisfying! Also a side note, Dean said he isn’t quite sure how the slime he used for making his shop post ended up so brown, because his personal slime of this also ended up a similar shade of a blue-gray to mine. I do really like the color though, it’s a neat muted, almost teal color.

And this is where the extra containers due to the four individual slimes for Until Spring came in handy, since the tub containing the donut was cracked. I was able to use the little 2 oz containers for the rest of the slime that wouldn’t fit in the big container after mixing in the clay, so I didn’t need to go finding something else to put it in. What a happy little coincidence!

Extra Slime - Anpanman Block version

The extra slime I got this time was a sample of the block version of Anpanman, probably because Dean knows I’m new to exploring different types of slime and wanted to let me try it out. I can say that I’m glad I got the Bingsu one in my purchase, but I also don’t hate the chunky blocks as much as I thought I might. It’ll still be a very nice one to fiddle with here and there.

So overall, I’m incredibly happy yet again! I don’t blame Dean for the hiccup with the clay donut, since the tub getting cracked most likely happened in shipping - and everything was very well packaged, wrapped in bubble wrap and then tissue paper, and in a padded mailer so he did everything he could to try to keep it safe. And besides, although it was extra work, it still blended into the slime in the end so I’m happy :)

bts concert; october 20th 2018

tbh;; i still can’t believe i was actually there. like ??? they were less than five meters away from me and were so interactive? and i was out there hyping them all the freaking time?

like the entire night of the concert i was in disbelief. i had been following them since their debut and i had gotten so used to seeing them behind a screen or on posters, photocards, albums.

five whole years getting attached to them through technology. but nope, that night they were THERE before my eyes, no screens separating us. they performed for me???

i kept on having goosebumps because my mind could not process the fact that Bangtan Boys were tHERE in front of my eyes !!!

but the contradiction is, when i saw them i felt like i was fated to be there. i felt like it was completely normal to see them upclose, like i was destined to be there. it was so obvious that i was at the right place at the right time.

and even more, because the love of my life jeon jk and i made two eye contacts and it felt like we had known each other for our entire lives !! i don’t know how to put it to words but it was like... we were friends having a moment. i don’t wanna sound delusional though. he was the death of me. injured you say??? he didn’t do the choreos but he was definitely back on foot already. he moves around A LOT. he is soooo energic and bOY i almost died of happiness because my n.o era stan ass saw a rapper JK live!!!!! AND his new singing technique was popping. but his cheeks were so thin???

and also because i fell in love with my mans jung hoseok when he performed his bomb ass solo just dance ™ and hE also made eye contact with me. he’s a sun honestly. he is soooo genuine when he performs, he looks really REALLY happy words can’t emphasize it enough. his stage presence is nO joke. very very very energetic too. he was the first member i saw from upclose and i’m not even exaggerating, i could not stop smiling after seeing him smile.

and KIM NAMJOON! WHAT! A! MAN! how he just sarang sarang sarang-ed at me??? the charisma he has omg ???? he is soooo handsome!! and his body ??? when he turned around and removed his jacket at the end of trivia:love i literally lost my shit. definitely he qualifies for president. TEAR! all my memories of each and every of his powerful mimics during tear are still vivid and let me tell you this man got that swag ™

so now that we be talking about tear, can i tell y’all about min yoongi. now i understand why those k-armys want to sue him so bad. HE IS TOO ADORABLE. like you know variety show yoongi is extra af, but i expected on stage yoongi to be extremely intimidating. but yknow what? NOT! AT! ALL! he is so humble. you can tell how passionate he is, and how much effort he puts into dancing. SEESAW was the death of me. i was on cloud nine it’s my fav song!!

and now that we talk about cloud nine let me tell ya that serendipity was like a soft nap on a sunday afternoon after church uwu it was so UWU but park jimin HAD TO keep on lifting his shirt like??? the disrespect??? tbh jimin was so disrespectful for the whole night. he was trying to kill us or something. really. in the end i cried so hard and this boy literally had to crouch down in front of me and film me ugly crying my life away.

talking about ugly crying! kim taehyung kept on making me cry. everytime he started the song - esp. magic shop and the truth untold. he is incredibly handsome. his facial traits are so thinly defined he looks like a soft aesthetic pencil drawn piece of art ™ but his hair is so thick and he’s a living meme, i got 0 nice pictures of him. but y’all haven’t heard singularity if you haven’t heard it live.

same for epiphany. MY BOY KIM SEOKJIN WAS PLAYING THE PIANO. what a man??? when will your favs ever? his shoulders are so big. like bangtan are not exaggerating when they talk about it. they are huge. and y’all were right. he looks so much better irl than on pictures. all of them tbh. like taehyung, his facial features are so thin and precise. and boy eats cds for a diet???

i can’t wait until i see them again. my pcd is coming on and off every single day and sometimes it gets really painful, sometimes it makes me euphoric and extremely happy. but i really miss them :’(

STORY TIME: MY FIRST KPOP ALBUM

Remember the times when I thought buying physical copies of stuff that is available online for free was dumb? AHAHAHAHA me neither. We also do not talk about the whole "oooh, I will just get one version because what is the point of buying the same CD four times?" thing. I was a sweet summer child once. Now I'm just broke as shit. Anyway!

This is the long and convoluted story of how I bought my very first kpop album (and the first CD since like... fifteen years? Yes, I am old). It was actually a day of many firsts because it all started with my friend taking me to eat Korean food and I knew it was gonna be great because as we were seated, Eight by IU and my boy Yoongi started playing. I let my friend do the ordering because I couldn't recognize - let alone pronounce - anything on the menu and I ended up falling in love with Korean food over gigantic shared plates of sweet and sour pork, cheese crusted tteokbokki and bibim naengmyeon. After we had inhaled our food we were seriously considering just unbuttoning our jeans and rolling home, but somehow my friend talked me into visiting a book store where they also sold kpop. High on spicy food fumes, I decided to yolo it and just buy an album. But because I am an indecisive little shit it took like 20 minutes of fondling every single album on the shelf (oh those innocent pre-lockdown times) and texting my boyfriend if I should buy something and him telling me to treat myself for me to pick an album. Fun fact: I chose You Never Walk Alone because it had the most songs and thus the most value for its worth. Yes. I was the clown who bought an album simply based on the CD I would never ever listen to :D

So we walk home and I am FREAKING out. I was really nervous about opening it? I had never even watched an unboxing video before so I somehow expected the photocard to just be on the first page and I vividly remember opening the front cover, heart pounding, only to see a blank, white first page and then I just started hysterically laughing because wow, anti-climatic :D Side note: I wanna do more shelf-tour-album-picks but promise the stories behind them won't be anywhere near this long and will just follow the... following formula! 1. Album. 2. Short story behind the album. 3. Photocard. 4. Favorite Song(s) on the album. 5. Favorite photos in the photobook.

THE PHOTOCARD

I actually pulled pink Jimin (little did I know but this started my cursed streak of never pulling my bias) but the friend I was with offered to trade me for it since she had a Hobi and yes, yes, I really did want my bias. This particular noot-noot Hobi is actually one of my favorite PCs ever - partly because of sentimental value for practically being my first PC but also because I am a sucker for a good noot-noot and this one is so stinking cute I can't even.

FAVORITE SONG(S) in no particular order

- Cypher Pt. 4 - this is actually my favorite Cypher, period. And I know every Hobi verse is the best Hobi verse but this Hobi verse has some extra spice and it makes me wanna do Things.

- Am I Wrong - everything about this just slaps. The sample is insane and the vibe is a bit different compared to the other music and it was one of the first 5 songs I put on my playlist after I got into BTS (and thus kpop) in 2019.

- Awake - hands down the best Jin solo ever, you can fight me but you won't change my mind. I get chills every time he gets to the "maybe I can never fly" bit and you are nothing but a lizard person in a human meat suit if you haven't gotten a bit teary eyed at least once while listening to it. Like, you don't even need to understand the lyrics to feel the emotions behind them.

BONUS: Outro: Wings - every time I see a live performance of this I just wanna dance and when JK and Hobi harmonize during the bridge I want to cry because it is so utterly perfect.

FAVORITE JACKET PHOTOS

Fun fact: this all happened the day Daechwita dropped which is probably why it's embedded in my memory so clearly. Basically after opening the album and me getting over my photocard and photobook related meltdown, we got ridiculously wine drunk at 3pm while watching the MV on the big screen :D Now THAT was a cultural reset.

okAY SO I’M GONNA TALK ABOUT THE CONCERT A LITTLE BIT BECAUSE I JUST EEEEP !!!!!!!! they ran out of a lot of the merch and i thought the tape was gonna be washi tape but bitch i was a fool & too scared to ask to swap it for the stickers. but it’s okay, i’ll still use it when i can. 

ANYWAY, the concert itself hoooly shit. first their english??? has gotten so so so so good but im lowkey sad i could barely hear much because everyone was screaming a lot and i was like noooo i wanna listen to them shut up. 

my weak ass cried during save me because i got to hear my favorite damn song LIVE like yall........ i was in shambles. and i cried when i was singing along to epiphany because just.. sigh. 

I HAVE A VIDEO OF ME SCREAMING RM’S PART IN SO WHAT AT THE TOP OF MY LUNGS. ESPECIALLY THE “I WANNA LIVE RIGHT NOW” PART LIKE GNFJKDNS BTS REALLY GOT ME TO SAY THAT.

i was actually pretty close to the stage like i had no idea our seats were THAT CLOSE like i could see them be all dorky and i just sigh. 

oh my god???? jimin’s hair was basically his hair in idol the whole time and just wow. also for some reason it didn’t fully register to me that jungkook dyed his hair back to brown???? like i saw the vlive and stuff but i was sort of like... business as usual. 

jin kept his microphone in his army bomb case during ending ment and when it was his turn he stared at the camera for like.... a minute before unzipping it. 

yoongi was talking about how much he loves the LA lakers and kobe bryant and there were jersey’s hanging super high up & he pointed at the side they weren’t on and went like “look.................... there’s nothing” 

jimin went like “this is the last show in LA” and everyone literally was like ???? no, not today?? and hobi started dancing not today oh my god

jin and jungkook had their hands hovering over the back of each other’s necks for the longest time until jungkook smacked him first 

i watched jin and suga shoot dance & i dont remember which one tried to do the arms and legs at the same time but im... im gonna say it was jin 

i met bit by bit (a jungkook fansite) and bought a little thing from her that had photocards she made and this cute jungkook credit card thing and a fan and a banner and a sticker 

our fan slogan thing was “we’ll only heart you for eternity” which i lowkey was ?? about like dawg just say love lmao but anyway

gOD TAEHYUNG IN SINGULARITY I WANTED TO DIE. IT’S LIKE THAT ARM THING JUST KEEPS GETTING BETTER AND BETTER FUCK

during ending ment, namjoon just straight up gave us a lesson about the meaning of his trivia track. i cant believe he created the english and korean language. 

walking in the merch line, i was tempted to say “wow i cant wait to watch exo tonight” but i didnt want to get my ass beat but i did want to be a little shit. 

also yes i did say that quote in the beginning but that’s when they were playing the euphoria mv 

when they started playing the fire mv, i said “set me on fire, min yoongi” and these girls two rows down turned around and started hella nodding and going like “YeAH YEA HYEAH”

yoongi, taehyung, and jungkook were fighting for a camera and just kept moving in front of each other and doing aegyo coNDSTANTLY 

jungkook stood on my side a lot and i was like g o d, please big head. also jungkook uploading a selca the day of my concert?????? meant to be. he knew i was there. love ya babe. 

also im really curious just how close bts are staying to the staples center? not so i can stalk them but just because hobi got onto vlive super fast after the concert? like it was maybe 10? 20 minutes? since it ended and he was already on it with food and like tae had time to take a bubble bath. and i knew they didn’t just dip right after because even then, traveling would take awhile with traffic so it’s like ????? where are yall staying that make you capable of this so quickly???? 

conclusion: i had such a great night. i really cant explain how happy i am just from seeing them.

but this au seems wild and im wildin today and blowing money on cherry bomb photocards so why not

you and yoongi both work in the food court of your local mall, but at different restaurants

he works at the pizza place and you work at the chinese restaurant

ever since you got the job, yoongi most definitely caught your eye from across the way

his dark, black hair that hangs in his sleepy eyes…

his pretty, pouty lips, that are forever in a permanent scowl...

his resting bitch face as he tries to convince people to waste their hard earned money on a combo meal…

yoongi is really the whole package

half of your work shift is spent just staring at him and hoping to the good lord above you don’t get caught

you have a few times but that is beside the point

you just stare wistfully and imagine what would happen if you crossed the food court and ran into his arms-

but alas, you cannot do that because if you’re in the restaurant business, you can’t just spend time with the enemy

even if you’re craving pizza, it is forbidden by restsurant law to even give your thoughts to the competition, so you’ve never actually talked to yoongi

ever

but that is a okay because your spot as cashier is the perfect viewing place to glance over at yoongi when you have a free moment

yoongi totally knows you’re checking him out at all seconds of the day, but he’s too shy to ever go over and say something to you, even when he’s not working, so he pretends that you don’t exist

besides, he has lyrics to write on the back of used receipts, melodies to tap out with spoons and knives

customers to swindle

but hoseok, who works at the pizza place too, totally realizes you two have the hots for each other so he’s always like “oh yoongi i think we should get chinese for lunch today, im really craving it”

“it’s not even our lunch break??”

“okay well go get me a snack then, some lomein sounds amazing right now”

“hoseok, no, i know what you’re trying to do”

“oh come on yoongi, all you ever do is stare at them all dreamy!!”

and then hoseok clasps his hands over his heart and wails, “oh young, forbidden love, is there anything more romantic than that?!”

the whole food court has stopped to stare at him, including you, and yoongi is redder than the tomato sauce on the pizzas so he just ducks down behind the counter and doesn’t come up for like the next ten minutes

since you two never actually interact, you think all is lost but then

then

one day it’s particularly slow in the mall

it’s summer so you have a full day of work ahead of you, and you’ve gotten maybe ten customers in the four hours you’ve been working, and you still got like six hours to go

yoongi is in the same predicament, if not worse, because his dearest hoseok has off today and yoongi doesn’t really interact with his coworkers unless they’re hoseok so um…

the two of you are lazing around, stealing the additional glance at each other

when your boss comes over and is all “hey, we really are doing poorly today, we need to change our tactic to get some customers in”

he hands you a tray with little food samples on it and shoves you outside the safety from behind the counter, then says, “go out near the entrance to the food court and try to convince some people to get over here and eat our food”

“isn’t that a little i dunno… pushy.”

“do you like your paycheck or not”

so with some huffing and puffing and grumbling you take the tray and shuffle over towards the food court entrance, trying to pretend you aren’t embarrassed

but the pizza place is not having that, oh no, they also are under target today for sales and they won’t just have prospective customers snatched away like that

“alright yoongo, time to go win us over some customers!!”

“actually my name is yo-”

“use that charm of yours on the ladies, alright?”

“as long as i can use it on the dudes as well”

“sure sure whatever, just get out there and win us over some customers”

they hand yoongi a tray with some little pizza bites in little cups in it and he starts walking to the middle of the food court but his boss shouts, “no no, you need to be right over there with that chinese food! SHOW THEM THE SUPERIOR CUISINE”

yoongi is a little freaked out by his boss’ enthusiasm for making sales but he does what’s asked of him because the only other place hiring right now is gamestop and he doesn’t wanna be stuck with jungkook every two seconds he weebs out over overwatch and persona so like… this job is pretty important

but then yoongi realizes you’re the one who’s also trying to sell food and now he’s all flustered and embarrassed and he doesn’t know what to do so he just kind of stands there and gapes for a few seconds

but then he gets on his #customerserviceface and traipses over to you, smiling that cute lil gummy smile of his face

“i’m gonna take you down” his smile only grows bigger and you’ve never been so attracted yet so afraid of someone in your life

“oh it is SO on dough boy”

“shut up you noodle brat”

“pepperoni person”

“you really don’t have anything better than that, you piece of kung pao shrimp”

“like that was any better pineapple pizza”

“you take that one baCK”

“mAke mE”

you two are so busy squabbling that you kind of ignore would be customers for like the first fifteen minutes

but then you remember what you’re supposed to be doing and with one final glare at yoongi, you snap “i was here first anyhow”

“it’s a mall, not your backyard” yoongi rolls his eyes “i can be wherever i want”

“except on top because i bet i can give out all my samples before you can!”

yoongi laughs and nods “you’re on. first one out of food officially has the best food in the food court”

the two of you spend the next hour trying to shove people down shoppers throats, and most of them end up at the mcdonalds, but you and yoongi are so damn absorbed in your competition that you don’t even care that you’re not actually doing your respective businesses any good

but it’s fun?? you’re having fun??

you don’t think you’ve laughed harder in a work shift ever before, especially when yoongi starts trying to do some god awful italian accent to try and win some customers over about it being authentic pizza

and he can’t help but smile fondly when you try to explain to customers for the millionth time that no, you can’t make szechuan chicken mild when it’s already premade with the szechuan sauce on it already

and when there aren’t any shoppers around, you and yoongi just kinda.. talk

he tells you about his dream to get to college to work with music production and how he doesn’t have the money right now, which is why he’s working at the freaking food court right now

and you tell him about yourself, and your reason for getting the job, and your hopes and dreams for the future as well

he tells you about his friends, about hoseok, the loud one who’s always screaming when there’s a flame in the oven because it’s scary

and about jungkook, who has the audacity to order dominos instead of visiting yoongi

and jin, who hogs the blankets all the damn time but washes yoongi’s uniform so him so it’s even

you talk about your friends too, but none of them seem as interesting as the people that yoongi hangs out with and you kind of hope that one day maybe yoongi will introduce you to them…

but then you realize that means hanging out with yoongi… as like friends or something…

and now you’re blushing

things have gotten pretty quiet now, and you think that maybe you should head back to actual work…

“wait, we both still have one left”

he shrugs and points to your little cup

your brows furrow and you frown slightly, then start to scan around the food court for anyone who someone to take your food so you can end this battle once and for all

but there’s a sudden weight on the tray, and you spin back around, and there’s yoongi, holding the cup up to his lips

and then he just chugs the freaking lomein like that, he just goes for it, finishes up your last sample

your eyes go wide and you smile softly

“well i guess you win” he says cooly, but there’s a noodle hanging from his lip and you point

he gets all red and quickly wipes it away

you take a deep breath, then reach over and grab his last pizza bite, then pop it into your mouth

“hey, this is actually pretty good” you nod

“the best food this damn place has to offer” he says with a wink

“hey wait a second-”

now you’re both laughing again

but your bosses are tired of you guys flirting instead of erasing the competition so they both call you back over so you can man the cash registers

but you and yoongi were having fun, a good time, and you don’t really want that to end?? so uh now you’re both waving over at each other dumbly from behind your counters and smiling and mouthing things to each other that you can’t really understand but hey, it’s the thought that counts right?

and as it comes to the end of your shift, you feel kinda upset because it’s been fun goofing off with yoongi??

like you’re so overwhelmed with butterflies that you actually spoke to yoongi?? like not only did you like introduce yourself?? but you had a real, actual conversation?? amazing??

you hope that tomorrow will be even better…

your clocking out right

the mall is shutting down for the night

the lights are all turning off

you’ve done all your side jobs, cleaned up for the night, restocked the sauces, cleaned all the machines and what not

I went for my first ever concert this April in Bangkok with two of my best friends (Nabi and Bunky, as mentioned in my other Bangkok posts). I am still not over the fact that we actually went, and it’s been four months. I just thought I’d make a blog post because I think I can handle looking back at the videos now without hyperventilating. (edit- I couldn’t.)

Anyway, I will talk about everything in detail- the ticketing process, the days leading up to the concert, and the day of. Also, my ‘favourite moments’ list went on and on so I stopped after a while. Let’s begin! I hope this is slightly helpful at least, and if not, enjoy the video! xD

TICKETING We found out that they were having a concert in BKK in October and began the process of badgering our respective parents to let us go, and in my case, to come with us on the trip. Everything worked out pretty soon and we couldn’t handle our excitement. Then we remembered how hard it would be to get the actual tickets. We prepared ourselves for the worst, obviously, and I had my mom tell me practically everyday ‘don’t be disappointed if you don’t get tickets okay, you can try later’.

The tickets were going on sale in December, and I think we religiously prepared for the ticketing process for a good week before ‘the day’. I don’t think we slept the previous night, I have butterflies in my stomach even as I’m typing this that’s the sheer amount of anxiety we had about it. We all had notebooks with seating charts and which seats to aim for and everything ready. 

The morning of the ticketing, we were up by 6:30, ready with laptops and the webpage open (thaiticketmajor.com). And of course, our notebooks, a pen, and water to last us the hours ahead. Oh, most importantly, we had credit card details written down too. There would be a very tiny window to finish payment, assuming we got tickets. We were on a conference call, dying in anticipation. I had my aunt, mom, dad, and grandfather all walking around the house, probably thinking ‘these kids are mad’. They all helped though, they were my hype-people, giving me food and saying ‘have hope’ xD

It took forEVER to enter the damn website, and once we did, we had to wait in line. We also had other friends on the conference call to help us out- THANK YOU ALL, and all we said for hours was ‘my man moved!!’ (you’ll see in the picture below what I mean). We all used multiple browsers, and for me, Safari worked magic. I got in line at about 8 I think, and finally got into the website at around 9:45. We were on the website from 7 though, refreshing and waiting for it to open. I don’t know how mine was fast, we all got in line at the same time.

Once I reached the end of the line and entered the website properly, there was a lot of screaming in my earphones. ‘STAY CALM YOU CAN DO THIS WE NEED THESE TICKETS.’ I went through, picked seats that were close enough (after about a minute of deliberation, we didn’t have more time than that), and waited to see if it would go through. I think I had to change seats thrice because they were booked by the time I clicked on ‘select’, but we unknowingly got great seats (more on that later). My aunt was sitting ready with card details so we went ahead and paid!! Again, there was a lot of screaming. I think we all went silent for a few seconds just taking it in.

Now, the next three months, we kept counting down and planning our trip, it was so much fun researching where to go and what to eat at the 7/11’s (okay that was mainly me). Buying and figuring out what to wear at the concert, listing places to shop there, what to do on the day of the concert- our priorities.

THE MORNING OF 7.4.19 My parents obviously didn’t come for the concert, but they spent that day taking care of us and giving us food because we were so excited, it was like having an out-of-body experience, I swear. We got up by 6:30, got ready (not in concert wear, because the concert was in the evening, and we were going to come back to the hotel after collecting the tickets because it was quite close by to the venue), ate breakfast and went to the venue. We walked around a little bit to find the stalls for tickets. We were greeted by posters of each of the members and a HUGE one of all of them with the concert details.

This is the clearest one I have.

We were sitting in line in the sweltering heat, but thankfully it didn’t take too long, we were early and there weren’t that many people.

  We didn’t know it would be that hot, we didn’t have anything to cover our heads with. Anyway, we got our tickets pretty quickly and then stood in line for army bombs. They give you a sheet with all the merch and you have to select everything you want so it becomes easier. We just got those, got them synced to our respective seats, and then got Fanta xD they were selling giant cups of ice with whatever flavour of Fanta, we all got strawberry. I don’t know why, but I felt the need to include that detail. We then went and got small fans outside on the street. We saw 90% of the people holding fans and we thought ‘oh we can take the heat we’re from India’, but god no we needed them. [Random shoutout to the really sweet girl from Indonesia I stood in front of in line for the army bombs :D] While leaving, a random girl was coming to each of us and saying ‘sorry, please take this’, and I thought it was a pamphlet or something, but it was a cute Hobi sticker ㅠㅠ The concert experience had officially begun xD

EVENING We left at around 4 to go to the venue, the concert was at 7. Adventure time (not the show)- We were in the cab on the way, and the cab driver stopped somewhere and started to talk to us in Thai. We kept telling him we needed him to speak in English and finally, he told us we had to get down there. Google maps showed that we were almost 2 km away from the venue, we thought we could walk, but there was traffic for as far as the eye could see, and we’d get all sweaty and disgusting. While we were contemplating what to do, there were a lot of guys wearing traffic vests (I am so sorry I don’t know what they’re called) and one guy spoke into his phone and showed us google translate, it said we had to get out here and cars weren’t allowed past the point because of traffic. They said they’d drop us on bikes to the venue, and after seeing a lot of other girls going, we decided to go too. This was honestly one of my highlights of the trip, it was so much fun, and such a good initiative.

ANYWAY. We went in and were ogling all the people there, MAN they dressed so well. We saw a queue in the middle somewhere and thought we had to go for the bag check so we joined in. IT TURNED OUT TO BE A GIRL GIVING OUT A FREEBIE. We were so happy with it. We walked around, joined a lot more queues, we couldn’t be stopped, it was too good to be true. We collected so many freebies, and the quality of the photocards and whatever they gave was so so so good, it was unbelievable that people were just giving them out for free. That’s how nice Army’s are :’))))) Here are all the freebies I got.

Army time :’) We were so lucky to get a banner with lyrics from Moonchild, it made it extra special ㅠㅠ

Standing around for a little more, we finally went inside the stadium. I’m not kidding, we all almost cried just entering the place.

LOOK AT IT I MEAN CAN YOU BELIEVE IT

There’s not much to say about the actual concert other than they were amazing, we’re still not fully convinced they’re human, anyone who says they’re not good live, please show this to them for proof that they exist on a meal of their own CD’s. That’s how good they are. BTS has been such a huge part of my life for the past two and a half years, only armys will understand how happy we get when we see them or listen to them. They really are something else, and something so different from usual artists, they never, ever fail to make me smile.

Best moments (in no particular order) in bullet points because otherwise, this will get way too long:

1- Love. Screaming 사랑 사랑 사랑 was the best thing ever, I will never forget the army bombs making purple hearts in the crowd. 2- Yoongi in the glorious red suit for Seesaw + his choker later on. 3- Serendipity- Jimin sitting on the stage like a baby. My friend who isn’t even army watched the clip and said it made her so happy :’) 4- I DON’T KNOW NAN MOLLA. 5- Them walking towards our side. We were shocked by how close our seats were, we had no idea. And we could see them up so close ㅠㅠ 6- Tear. That’s all. 7- Chanting Jhope for Just Dance. We screamed it for a long time and you could see the surprise on Hobi’s face, it was adorable. 8- The fact that we actually got to see Run and I Need U live is insane. 9- Baepsaeeee. We wanted this medley solely for Baepsae. If you know, you know. 10- Euphoria. I feel like Koo and yellow army bombs together were perfect :’) 11- Singularity. Unreal ethereal out of this world beauty of Kim Taehyung cannot be explained. 12- Epiphany. Singing ‘I’m the one I should love’ felt cathartic. I put a nice long clip in the video. 13- Ours being the last concert of the Love Yourself tour was a blessing. 14- Jimin’s adlibs in The Truth Untold. 15- Mic Drop red cult+dance break+Yoongi. 16- Anpanman. This was one of the songs I was most excited for because they’re always so chaotic. 17- So What. I never listened to this song much, but after seeing it live, I love it. It brings back memories of just so much energy and the rush of being there. Also fake ‘mist’ that was apparently water. 18- Army time with Love Myself+confetti. 19- Seeing 50,000 people on the streets all waiting for cabs. I had to include this because it was just so fun xD 20- The number of freebies we got I LOVE ARMIES. 21- Curly hair JK. YEAH WE GOT TO SEE OUR 90’S HEARTTHROB LIVE. 22- The rain. The rain that did certain wonderful things. Again, if you know, you know. Just look up Namjoon pictures from that day, you’re welcome. 23- Tae speaking Thai was the cutest thing ever. 24- Fire dance break. 25- FANCHANT. I was living for it. 26- Army bomb. Just buying it and having it in my shelf now. What a feeling. 27- Large cups of iced Fanta. yes, it’s a highlight for me. 28- There was this girl who screamed ‘Park Jimin, ULJIMA’. An icon. 29- Seeing armys all over the city felt like some weird dream. Honestly from the minute we landed, they were everywhere. In the airport, in the hotel (there were about 60 armys in our hotel), on the streets, e v e r y w h e r e. 30. Going to an actual BTS concert was a dream of ours for two years and we were lucky enough that everything worked out in the end. I couldn’t be happier. I haven’t sung in like 15 years, but I did that day. And the next time I sing will be at another concert, I hope, only in the presence of 50,000 people who truly love these boys. It was a surreal experience, and what made it even better was going with two friends who mean so much to me.

[In conclusion- this is what I wrote the day after our concert in my journal- ‘Joon is poreless. Hobi is everything. Tae is beauty. JK is baby. Jimin is angel. Yoongi is pale. Jin is ethereal.]
