I have this headcannon that II is the hard-ass of the group. He gives absolutely no fucks. He is the scariest and he knows it. He knows exactly what it takes to get you and the other vessels back in line if you start to throw some attitude at him. And there’s really very little that can weaken him.

Except for one thing.

One little word that slips so prettily from your lips it honestly leaves II crawling after you every single time. It’s like his brain shuts down and all he can think about is giving you exactly what you want as fast as possible. He should be embarrassed. And although a small part of him is (because he made you swear to him that you’d keep your lips zipped about it. He can only imagine the havoc III would cause if he caught wind of II’s weakness) but in the moment, giving you what you want is the only thing he cares about.

II swears that Sleep put you on this planet just to mess with him. To be the only thing that can melt his brain this quick. He feels like a lost puppy following you through the manor, ready to go where ever you’re going. Willing to do whatever you want him to do.

He knows you know what you’re doing every time you say it like that. So sweetly. So so pretty. So good for him saying please.

It seriously fucks him up. Every single time.

The other vessels have started to catch on a little bit. Noticing how easily II melts for you. III has absolutely tried to bribe you into telling him how you do it. He honest to Sleep begged you to tell him. II watched you from across the room, and with a smile on his face, watched you pretend you had no idea how you do it.

Vessel thinks he knows, ever the observer, but settles on letting you and II share this between the two of you. Feigning complete obliviousness when IV tried to get answers out of him too.

I don’t have these thought out in advance I’m js writing as I go so i take full blame for mistakes and shit

- He totally has a high pitched girly scream

- Yk how Pony commented on his spelling in the letter? Well news flash: Soda cannot spell for his life.

- His handwriting is a messsss

- Him n Dal have a shared fear of spiders and they totally got trapped in a room together with a spider one time and were screaming at each other to kill it

- He’s like SO oblivious you can full on shove a pickup line right in his face and he won’t realise your flirting until you outright say “I’m flirting with you.”

- He did go to Vietnam after the books events but he DIDN’T die bcz i said so😊

- Food colouring in everything he cooks. If it’s not food colouring, it’s mixing the most weird ass food combinations. It was already mentioned me made green pancakes, well, some of his other favourites were his pink muffins, blue potato mash and purple roast.

- All of the above (and most things he cooks) taste like absolute dog shit, but his brothers eat it to make him happy (Soda actually enjoys it)

- He gets bored way too easily and can’t sit still for his life

- He genuinely loves the snow and will spend hours in it without even realising he’s cold, but the moment Darry drags him back inside he basically collapses in the couch

- and when his brothers didn’t react to that he’d start elbowing them and trying to get their attention but just end up getting told off

- the same thing basically happened in school too

Considering what the poor boy has been through, I don't know if he's TOO surprised by your abilities. With the knowledge that you passed through an Ultra Wormhole, it makes sense you'd have gained some special abilities like teleportation and walking through walls.

Once the initial shock and amazement is over with, Kieran knows EXACTLY who he's gonna prank first: Carmine.

You teleport into her room while she's away and rearrange her Pokemon plushes and posters little by little. Carmine goes from antsy to INSANE over the next few days, demanding that Kieran is responsible. But he's somehow completely innocent, right? He's been hanging out in the clubroom with the Elite Four, they all saw him there.

Eventually you fess up and tell Carmine it was you, to which she has to hold herself back from nearly exploding in your face about moving her stuff. It gets a good laugh out of you and Kieran for sure though.

You ask her to keep your abilities a secret, with the added benefit that Carmine gets to choose who you prank next. Carmine immediately decides on Drayton.

Since you can walk through walls, you sneak up on him from underneath the floor and untie his cape from his waist when he's not looking. His reaction is priceless, he just looks so dumbfounded and confused. Carmine doubles over laughing-- you've never seen her so happy.

Pranks aside, you sometimes teleport into Kieran's room to hang out with him. He gets lonely quite easily, always yearning to see you again. Looker always scolds you for using your abilities like that, but you honestly couldn't be happier with the way things are right now.

But they can see his face well enough, with his easy smile and low lidded eyes turned towards someone on his right. It’s just his profile, but it’s enough. The look is one they’ve seen him wear many times before.

His target, a thin blond man next to him, is frowning at him, dark eyebrows drawn low with the threat of a sneer.

Antonio waggles his drink, consideringly, ‘Maybe.’

Gilbert grins, ‘Yeah?’

‘Yeah.’ Antonio reaches out his glass towards Gilbert, ‘Tenner says he fails.’

‘Tenner says he takes him home.’

‘Deal.’

Gilbert clinks his glass against Antonio’s and they both drink. At the bar, the crowd of people part for just a moment to show Francis’ hand resting dangerously low down on the unknown man’s back. Antonio hisses and Gilbert laughs.

‘Might as well buy me a drink now and get it over with.’

‘They’re not home yet.’

‘They will be.’

‘You don-‘

There’s a sudden shout of alarm. Both turn their attention back to the bar in time to watch the crowd step back and reveal Francis clutching his nose, his face now one of thunder. The blond he was talking to shoves him and Francis shoves him back, blood dribbling freely down his top lip. The crowd closes around them again, nearby men grabbing them to haul them apart as others shout and hurriedly step back.

‘Shit.’

Antonio raises an eyebrow and looks at Gilbert in askance, ‘Should we help?’

Gilbert finishes his drink, ‘Nah. We deserve to enjoy it sometimes.’

Antonio laughs and pushes across his leftover chips to Gilbert in offering, jerking his head towards the mess at the bar. Francis is shouting something, his French too quick for Gilbert to translate, ‘That doesn’t mean anything though, does it. He might still get him.’

Gilbert thinks back to all of the times he’s come home to find Francis in bed with a stranger, and all the other times he’s found him with people whom he claims to hate. Francis always likes a challenge and this blond stranger was a challenge indeed. Gilbert gets the feeling too that the man, whilst shouting and gesticulating wildly in response to whatever it was that Francis said, oddly seems to be enjoying himself.

Gilbert sighs and picks at Antonio’s paltry offering.

‘I’m staying at yours tonight.’

‘It’ll cost you a tenner.’

• They aren't like, revolted by eachother. Lyney is fine with Xiao, Xiao just doesn't feel romantically attracted to him.

• Plus, it took him a while to just get close with Aether, he doesn't want to go through the whole insecurities and shit all over again

• But they'll both wrap their arms around Aether, share knowing looks when their boyfriend is being cute, glare at people who are acting off towards their boyfriend, that stuff
