With every word, Cecil bent a little bit backwards, especially when he was pointed at. Scary! Maybe not looking at them was a mistake and just made things worse. Cecil collected himself and looked Sam in the eyes. “Of course! This will not happen again!” He declared, even if he (and everyone else most likely) was sure it would...

Cecil then looked back down, fidgeting with his feet again. “...am I gonna be put inside the box again?” He asked, sounding miserable.

               They leaned closer, lips pressed together, eyes fit to cut and slice. They were, now and always, the very picture of authority, bearing down on the offending… eye… with the full force of that authority.

Man, Sam could be super scary and serious. Like thats kinda their job as the Sheriff but still! Cecil felt so tiny, even more tiny that usual, under their judgemental stare and words. Ooooh he was in trouble...

“Ooooh, that’s great news!” Cecil commented on the building’s recovery. He should report that, maybe ask if Carlos wanted to come, too even if he had some... unpleasant memories of the place. Maybe the renovations helped it a bit?

“Ah, well that really depends on how serious I wanna be, I guess? Sometimes it’s just leisure and I don’t care as much so I kinda just... kick the ball a bit to get it moving” He said, laughing afterwards. “But if I’m in for a kill, then an arm or a whole body is needed... Though it often starts with just taking it easy but suddenly everything gets competitive” Cecil mused.

“That sounds wonderful, I’d be happy to join you guys!” Cecil said, how exciting! “It has been a while though, so I might be a little rusty in my plays, but as you said bowling is a great way to make friends, its not always about winning” He mused, thinking back to the time when he went to bowl regularly. “I can also check what the situation is there right now myself, for journalist reasons”

“Yeah! I hear the building’s mostly recovered, so you could update people on that.” he said. “I was just curious, if it’s not offensive to ask, do you prefer to bowl with a body, or without?”

It was mostly curiosity, but partially, he had an amusing image of an eyeball headbutting a bowling ball to move it forward in his head.

Cecil was floating upside down when Basma started to shift. He softly gasped, his position shifting a bit since he was a bit shocked about the new Basma, a cat eye, floating in front of him. And the talk about hunger was kinda off-putting, too. Cecil was all about accepting things but this was still weird as heck.

“Oh, whoa whoa whoa, you can shapeshift, too?? You can float and shapeshift?? Wowza” Cecil breathed out. He can shapeshift sure but also floating? That’s pretty rad.

“Devour? Ah, I guess floating and shapeshifting does come along with a bigger appetite?
