keith definitely listens to both rock and classical music simultaneously. he has a playlist filled with metallica, ramones, and the killers, but it ALSO includes beethoven, tchaikovsky, and fucking chopin
also he'd hit that playlist on shuffle like he's playing russian roulette
Piano Concerto No. 1 in E minor, Op. 11. II - Romanze - Larghetto (Fryderyk Chopin, 1830). Performed by Krystian Zimerman (piano) and the Krakow University Orchestra, conducted by Jan Krenz (1976).
The Adagio of the new concerto is in E major. It is not meant to be loud, it’s more of a romance, quiet, melancholy; it should give the impression of gazing tenderly at a place which brings to the mind a thousand dear memories. It is a sort of meditation in beautiful spring weather, but by moonlight.
(Fryderyk Chopin. Letter to Tytus Wojciechowski, May 15, 1830)
( I just get in door. In the afternoon I went to buy the leather accessories needed for another works. I stopped by to eat seafood porridge on the way back. I took a walk on the way back to the studio… It rained. I was so happy! Although I had already worked 60 hours and even didn't sleep yet. (Teribble crazy woman lol) The sound of rain makes me feel very peaceful. An imaginary lullaby lying in the arms of the lover should make her easy to fall asleep zzz Z zz Z z ) … ♫ ◠‿◠ Lan~*
just realized i never did a proper intro for this blog!
so, hello, i've been flip flopping between taking lessons and self-studying piano for several years and this blog was (and still is) intended to be a studyblr to track my progress.
i'm currently self-studying as my time is split between this and STEM studies (more on that on my side blog @studentbyday) but i really really hope to finally establish a consistent practice (after struggling to do so for many years 😅) so i know i will be able to handle weekly lessons again 😤
🎓 goals for piano/music studies:
enjoy playing music (including without headphones)
establish sustainable routines so i can practice piano every day or at least every week
get over stage fright and paralyzing perfectionism
improve my sight reading
motivate myself to learn more music theory and use it to analyze my favorite songs
find fellow music enthusiasts on tumblr!
💗 interests/inspirations:
classical music (my favorite composer is chopin but beethoven is a close second)
jazz
your lie in april (i read the manga online and really really wanna see the anime!)
Tiffany Poon and Animenz's playing
🎹 accumulated study tips: resources, practice strategies, coming back after hiatus, hand independence and method books
The clip contains spoken word and music at the same time. I've included a script below the cut for those who might have any difficulties listening. Enjoy. ^_^

Ominis: Hm? Oh! There you are, I do hope I didn't disturb you.
[pause]
In truth, I was rather hoping you would hear. Perhaps come investigating.
[pause]
It's your favorite, right? Chopin? I admit, Sebastian told me the night after you two had gotten back from Hogsmeade. He said you'd pulled him into a little shop called Flutes & Lutes when you'd heard it playing through the window. I suppose he isn't one for the arts, but it got me thinking.
[pause]
Hm, then it seems my plan to enamor you wasn't a complete waste, after all. I would be ever so delighted if you would join me. I've only just begun.
[pause]
Come, sit beside me, little dove. Close your eyes and let me serenade your heart.
