I WONDER IF THE OLDER ME USES A CANE... I don't think so, but if he did, I wonder if he'd let me make him a better one.

man. bj walking out from reverend laws' house, shirt specked in his blood (he was not the one who killed him; he wanted to, couldn't bring himself to, but he's dead now, that's all that matters), feeling the cold morning air in his lungs, the sun on his skin, knowing for the first time in almost 20 years, he's free. then bj traveling to blackpool to walk along the shoreline where he spent his last happy year with his mother, bare-armed without the armor of a coat or jacket, looking on as children play and the water laps at his bare feet... it's almost baptismal. an emergence from dark waters, almost drowned, to live brand new in the sun. and to breathe and to breathe and to breathe...
i love him.

Je vais poursuivre dans les vieilles photos. Ici, des vestiges du siècle précédent... Des Années Folles aux années 30 en Auvergne !
1925 - Vichel. Les dames sont de sortie
1926 - Ceyrat : ma grand-mère maternelle (à droite) et , je pense, sa cousine
1932 - Château-sur-Cher. Ma grand-mère et ma mère, encore toute petite.
1933 - Clermont-Ferrand (Les Bughes). Peut-être une des usines Michelin en arrière-plan ?
1934 - Domérat. Coupe à la garçonne.
