✰ You first met Ambrose when you were picking Harvey up from the Spellman mortuary one night

-he makes you laugh and you end up just staying in the kitchen talking
-the other girls come to find you and stop in the doorway and just watch Ambrose flirting with you

Dating Ambrose Spellman
Your family is close friends with the Spellman's
Which is how you met Ambrose
Your parents tried to keep you from hanging out and getting close to him because they thought he was a bad influence
(They knew about the incident at the Vatican and his house arrest)
You of course weren’t one to follow instructions and kept seeing Ambrose behind their backs
This means sneaking in to his room like all the time
(Or you’ll astral project)
Ambrose always looked forward to when you’d visit
It was a nice change from just talking to his aunts and cousin all the time
The two of you would often practice spells together
Sometimes you would even put hex's on people
(A lot of these though would be helping Sabrina)
If you weren’t practicing spells you and Ambrose would probably be doing mundane things
Like reading books or talking
Even just laying around together
As much fun as you have in his room, Ambrose does wish that he wasn’t on house arrest
He wishes he could take you out on a date
Or to the movies
Just do what normal couples do
You would assure him though that to you it didn’t matter where you were as long as you were together
That didn’t stop you though from trying to free Ambrose from house arrest though
Always talking about the places you want to travel to
(And going there when he is set free)

I could see Ambrose having a vampire boyfriend before he tried to blow up the Vatican 😭
Turned this into headcanons because why not
● you first met Ambrose back in university in the late 1800's
● being an immortal vampire meant you had plenty of time to study anything and everything you wanted and already had multiple degrees
● you guys may or may not have met in the middle of an orgy on campus
● Ambrose was immediately drawn to your poise and charm
● you started regularly hooking up but never actually officiated a relationship even though you were madly in love with each other
● then Ambrose got involved with Crowley and you ended things because you warned him nothing good would come out of it but he didn't want to listen
● then the whole blowing up the Vatican attempt happened and Ambrose was sent away to live with his aunts under house arrest
● a few decades went by and you decided to go to the states to check in on Ambrose
● no matter how much time passed you still loved him, you had never met anyone like him in your centuries long life
● you hooked up again the first time you saw him
● and quickly started seeing each other again
● you avoid bringing up Crowley because you don't want to pour salt in the wound for him
● Ambrose quite enjoys when you feed on him especially during sex
● there is also many threesomes with Prudence
● and then there's the threesomes with Nick
● and Dorian
● and plenty of orgys in between
● Hilda and Zelda love having you around because you do most of the cooking

Okay, so while working on a fic, I was rewatching part 3. And I noticed that while in the Nether Realm, Edward sits at the table where we always see Zelda sitting. And this could be something technical with the shooting of the scene, but I think it’s more symbolic.
Like, Zelda sitting in her brother’s old seat is her literally taking his spot and trying to fill his shoes as the head of the family.
Anyway, this thought made me have feelings and I wanted to share.

Being Ambrose Spellman’s Childhood Friend and Falling in Love:

The two of you studied magic together at the Academy of Unseen Arts
You made quick friends, since you both were witty trouble-makers; you had detention together a few times and got to know each other better there
You fell head-over-heels for him; he was a bit flirty, and he helped you out whenever you got into trouble
(Which was often)
Everyone suspected the two of you were dating long before you actually confessed your feelings for each other
You parted ways just before he tried to bomb the Vatican
(He didn’t want to risk you getting hurt)
Afterwards, when you found out what he’d done, you didn’t want to see him for a while
Eventually, you missed him too much to stay mad at him and you visited him at the Spellmans’ house
You found out during your visit that he missed you just as much as you missed him, and you got back together on your next visit
You became a regular visitor of the Spellman household, so much that the Spellmans see you as family
You also have a few astral-projection dates before Ambrose can leave, so that you can take him to some of your favorite places
You’re the first person he visits when his sentence is over, and the two of you go on a road trip to see everything he’s been missing out on

now, a book passage actually related to ambrose. when a postwoman comes in strong with the microaggressions, sabrina defends him and his just like ‘I’m British’ i can’t. also, there is further proof that ambrose is a BIOLOGICAL SPELLMAN in the first novel, but ambrose is related to the spellman’s by blood. his parents are the last of the spellmans that remain in england, instead of moving to America. and then they get killed which means Hilda goes and get’s Ambrose because he SOMEHOW survives the witch hunters killing everyone. Hilda raises Ambrose in England for a bit, then they move back to America. also cut off is the fact that this post lady goes missing so i think either hilda or zelda or both decided to take care of the racist.

One of my fave caos headcanons is that Zelda and Ambrose hang out a lot more than we see in the show - they're both dramatic nerds with a lot of stuff in common. I feel like they've got a standing weekly 'whine' and cheese night where they complain about other family members/teachers and students at the academy, and that they go to the opera together, and that they get stoned and talk French literature on the dl. Also they're both bi/pan which is cool, so they probably celebrate pride together.
Oh yes I live for their dynamic! I wish we got to see more of it on the show, because the little bit we do get is so good. Dramatic nerds is a great description. Zelda taking Ambrose’s advice to go help with the exorcism, their similar interests in academia and travel—I actually just recently did a whole Zelda headcanon post that turned into them bonding over the family library and sharing travel stories. I could definitely see them doing all the things you described. I think that they have a lot of similar interests and see each other as peers in many ways.
I also just get the sense that they understand each other very well and have that sort of relationship where they can have long, engaging debates but also just quietly sit in the same room together. I can also picture like, when Zelda is upset and Hilda trying to talk to her about it is irritating and Sabrina trying to fix things is unhelpful, Ambrose knows how to make her laugh. And when Ambrose is upset and Hilda coddling him is frustrating and Sabrina’s egocentricism makes him mad, Zelda knows that a little bit of tough love and encouragement are what he need to pick himself back up again.
