Ever since Eren saw you in his math class, glasses falling down your nose, brows furrowed, pieces of hair falling down framing your face, he knew he had to have you.

You weren't the most popular girl in school, you had your group of friends you had decent grades and what you consider a normal life. But to Eren you were perfect, and he was quick to make you his.

Once you both settle into the relationship Eren is eager to claim you and show you off making sure everyone knows your his and he is yours. He walks you to your classes and becomes attached to you by the hip. His hands always placed possessively on your back as you walk through the hallways, his chin high knowing he's accomplished everything he wanted.

Eren ensured your first time was perfect with petals and candles after an expensive day out.

Eren invites you to all his games making sure there's time for a quickie in the lockeroom before the game for "good luck". Your in the crowd at the front row with his jersey and the 'titans' team colours pained on your cheeks shouting his name. Of course he wins the final scoring point winning the match for the team. Once the games over he's running to you with a cheesy smile picking you up and carrying you over the barrier onto the pitch while you place kisses all over his face in your giggly state.

the way ghost would love his partner with ptsd no matter what. he understand what it feels like to walk on eggshells, unsure of the next move even if his gut knew. when you ask him “will i be stuck feeling that age whenever i get flashbacks?” he knows that he can’t give an answer because he asks the same question too, so all he does is hug you while pulling your head to his chest even if you’re the same height. he just wants to provide you shelter when the weather’s rocky.

when the nightmares come back, he’s there too. the moment he feels the bed shift a little too much and hears quiet sobs amidst your deep sleep, he’ll gently nudge you back to life. he knows transitioning from the nightmare to reality is horror, being unable to distinguish if it was a memory or if it was your subconscious. that night, he became the little spoon, as long as it allowed you to sleep softly, now that you had an anchor and it was him.

when anniversaries of events come around, he’s already prepared things to do on that day to distract you. the last thing he’d want you to do is actively recall and retrace each moment from that period in time. he’d start the day off by waking you up with the smell of your favourite breakfast like usual, then give you a drink of your choice. he’s got every hour of that day booked with you, finding alternatives to throw away the pain. pottery? he’s got a private slot so that you could release your anger at the clay when kneading it. karaoke? so you can scream out your #1 angry song and have him cheer alongside you. the best part of the day is walking with him in silence. you know he understands, he knows you understand. he knows you’d do the same for him, and maybe that’s why you two make sense. the days get longer each time you remember but that only means you have more moments to spend with him
