the ideas that have been in my small little brain

even when others are nice to hank he finds it very empty which is why in project nexus he doesn't really connect with others however his relationship with 2bdamned is more than "He's nice to me" its the fact 2bdamned is actually displaying more than words, because he realizes that 2bdamned is doing more than he has to in any capacity. they share a goal of defeating - or atleast subduing - the AAHW. 2bdamned's assistance in providing high level weaponry and teammates should be enough, but he's giving MORE. after hanks first death on a mission after beginning to work with 2bdamned, he finds it strange that 2bdamned is the one to help revive him but that gives them time to spend together. He finds it even more strange that this is his first encounter with another person that includes physical touch but no harm, he doesn't know what to make of that. Eventually its not just when hank dies. It starts happening enough that 2bdamned says he has to come by so often he might as well start living there, but hank takes that as a serious offer and obliges. Both of them are surprised, but it happens anyway.

I think that's the point at which they start to know each other well enough to advance this to a relationship past "We just need to get by" to "I'm doing all these super nice things just as a favor" which are definitely not just favors, they spend more and more time together as a result. Hands lingering over stitched wounds 'just to check one more time', small talk during treatment, i think around that point is when hank opens up to doc a lot more. I like to think they do stuff outside of work or simply "Living" too, having a drink together and such. I think it's obvious they want to keep it "strictly business" but it's been past that point ever since they started living together, and WELL past ever since they started becoming more ... casual to each other.

I don't truly know to what extent hank feels for 2bdamned, but I think he kind of struggles with the fact he hasn't killed him yet when there's reasons he COULD and he SHOULD, but i supposed it's something in the back of his mind that he can when it comes to that point. The better question is why hasn't it? How did it get to THIS point where it's become past the work? Why would he do something like be open to someone like HIM? Why hasn't he done anything about it?

2bdamned's own emotions are pretty clear to him but he's in denial saying it's about the research or the practicality or some other bullshit not willing to admit its spending more resources than it's worth to keep the fucker alive, especially if hank doesn't exactly need 2bdamned's talents to revive himself. It's needless use of vital things like giving up privacy to live with the Scariest Guy In All Of Nevada or using reviving when Hank doesn't even need any of the fancy tech in the first place to be revived. It's the same question of "How's it come to this?"

i need them to be a little more fucked up emotionally than just snuggle buddies at movie night. i mentioned this elsewhere but their relationship is kind of like. They both think theyre the guy taking care of the cat, but they're both the cat. sorry less of a headcanons list and more a dump of some headcanon emotional garbage but here's some stuff i think theyd do and be gay about

drinking together (mentioned) and getting a bit more closer emotionally, both of them talk about their jobs and what they do what they do but i also think doc would mention something about being ex-aahw and being like "FUCK!!NO HE'LL HATE ME NOW!!" and hanks like "AHHAHAHA see it's just better to hang with me" and at that point they became besties (CODE FOR hot gay lovers)

also after that doc just begins complaining so so much about the AAHW especially the working conditions

SURGERY!!! you all know it by now yes the "oh so you're in my guts. okay. buy me dinner first" but like you know. i think people should focus more on the touching aspect and i never really see it enough... gimme some tracing over the stomach and hank being all fucked up over how this is the only time of the day someone gets to hold him without it following his head being bashed in. I do think it's a little funny thinking about this though, i think 2bdamned definitely forgets all the time he's working with a LIVING body not a dead one so he just kinda sticks his hand in there sometimes and when hanks like "AUGHTR" he's like oopsie ^_^ forgot

hank tried to kiss doc once after surgery and he had to play it off as being delirious and then stomped out really all mad at himself

they have to sleep in the same bed or it's that doc is sleeping in a fucking chair but the problem is all of his chairs are stools. they HAVE to sleep in the same bed man. there's only one bed trope but contest to see how long they can last before making out. do this in real life with your best friend

also that doc is the one that cooks for both of them and it is kind of shit food but compared to the fact hank cant fucking cook its like a miracle hank gets anything other than Cheese Pizza in his system

you remember that "Pretty Please" note doc wrote to hank to tell him to Pretty Please Destroy The Only City In Our Fucking World i think he talks really jokingly to hank, but doesnt do it because hank doesn't really pick up on it being a joke. usually does try to remain serious and normal for most conversations

the antarctica videos just cemented my belief that dnf weren’t together at that point but WERE in the like tiptoeing around their feelings that theyre both aware of point. i remember sending an anon to u on christmas eve talking about how dnf were so so close to being There and that christmas with the dramily could make or break or whatever and i still firmly believe that.

like they werent together in antarctica so all that stuff went down but? perhaps? (almost) together now hence why dream isnt killing himself over it? and also the fact dream’s been so busy which is normally george’s time to stream/do something but he hasnt because hes 100% been laying on dream’s office bed and watching him...... and also their little jumpscares on sapnap together

they were definitely getting closer i think as u said tiptoeing around each other in antarctica and christmas stream too. honestly cant wait to see more things more recently bc it does seem like every time we see them they look more in love

OHH BOY okay wow uhmm

this might be a little long, so there could be a few typos in a few walls of text

Starting with Bo:

brief, theres def more i couldve written but like, yeah

Bo was concieved on a one night stand, and his mom and aunts TRIED to take care of him, but after realizing he’s magical, they sent him off to Northmill, a school in northern Scotzers (a country i absolutely made up for this purpose) in order to learn how to control all that stuff. Unfortunately, since Bo had zero control over his magic, he was not wrapped in with the other young kids who had some basic control. He was prohibited from using them unless supervised. That rule was never fully followed. Thankfully, a friend of his (Koi, a young witch from Gotoro sent over to study) help him learn the basics. Bo eventually went off to self teach himself. He had a few complications with Northmill, getting in trouble and punished as they see fit. (Send a barely trained kid into monster ridden woods w/ little to no protection.) When breaks started coming up, the school tried to get in touch with other family to take him home for breaks. Amelia, an adventuress who was quite popular in Ferngillian and Scotzerian guilds, stepped up as his cousin. She took him to the farm her, her husband, and their two kids maintained. Bo caused trouble for Marlon and Magnus, as well. (Ex: Trying to break into the wizards tower, thinking it was abandoned, and trying to venture into the mines with only a sharp stick for protection). After his school with Northmill was up, he was shipped off to train under a couple of Gotoran witches (Juno and Jubilee). Here, he was taught how to properly control his magic and become accustomed to being the ideal adventurer. During his stay, he did go through an online college course for animation and math. After Amelia’s death, Bo started to become less and less interested in monster fighting. He soon stopped responding to the lessons and barely participated. After a few months of blowing these things off, Bo left Gotoro to finish his schooling in Evotte, a small, monster-free country surrounded by water. (also made up). There, he got a job in business and worked as an assistant for a rather wacky boss. The entirity of that job career was a bunch of unruly shenanigans straight out of a sitcom like the office (except, like, amplified). During his stay at evotte, bo was shipped a few of Amelia’s belongings, including a little glass vial with a mysterious substance. He was instructed to NOT open it, per Amelia’s request. During a camping trip with his work “friends,” he met a witch (Ivy! She disappeared off the grid of the ministry, and continues ridiculous hijinks on her own time.) She took interest in the vial, and after a friendly match of tug of war, broke it open. Out cain two demons, Cain and Jack, who were thankful and happy to be free. With them was a contract, which stated neither Bo nor the demons could die by each other’s hands, the demons are there to fulfill the duty of listening to Bo, and that theyre basically prisoners fulfilling their jail time as servants. Bo decided hed rather have friendly roommates than henchmen, and laid out some basic rules of “not killing anyone” and “act like normal people”. After a while of staying at evotte, he started getting letters who found him through his last name. These letters asked him to help out on missions. Due to the surplux, he left evotte and changed his last name. He found an abandoned home where near the city his childhood best friend, Allan, went to college. There, he squatted and made himself home. Allan came to join him because free living and college is expensive. The local guild in Frostfort, the town in Ferngill he situated himself in, took notice of the newfound residents, and a representative was sent to deal with them. She was not successful. Instead, her and Bo became friends and she came every so often for rent instead of making them buy and actual house for sale. After about a year of living in Frostfort, he recieved a letter from Rodney asking if Bo would be interested in taking over the farm. After some careful consideration, he moved in! And thats where he starts and pelican town adventuer hedhshswooo

Allan!!:

Allan was sent off to a home for troubled kids due to his parents poor financial situation. The owner of the home was happy to take him in as a technical “orphan” who waited for his parents to come back. In this time, he made friends with a couple of other kids who were in for stealing or minor vandalism. He had always wondered what set him apart for other groups, considering he was frequently told he was weird or freaky. That got him into psychology, which he later proceeded to major in college. There was a boy around his age that would frequently visit him on the land the home owner had. His name was Abel. After becoming good friends, Allan was invited over to dinners with Abel’s family quite frequently. He felt at home in the house, but was never really adopted. He had also met Bo after he got into a little quarrel with a couple of other kids, and Allan had to break it apart. He’s a good mediator. Afterwards, theyd become close friends. After finishing school, allan had taken all the money he saved up and went STRAIGHT outta the country, moving south to Ferngill, where he’d go to college (help paid for thru scholarships, as well). He settled down well, and even got himself a girlfriend! Later, when Bk moved nearby, he’d move in with him (the sudden far move caused issues with his gf, and they eventually cut ties thru mutual agreement). Bo got the letter from rodney, yadda yadda, and now hes living on a farm and working as a psychologist in Zuzu city.

Cain and Jack kind of go together, and theirs is super easy to sum up.

They both were cousins, and well acquainted with each other. They had a half decent music career going for them, traveling to different towns and playing as an attraction. Issues arrised with their wives at the time, who would nag and complain at all the traveling. Both valued their work over their love life, and made a pact with each other. A big dinner, join the families, poison the drinks. A large murder suicide is what landed them in hell. The corruption began, and once they were no longer recognized as prisoners, but demons, they were released into hell. And they fuckin blew it. Chaos, fights, destruction, and zero conformity to hell’s rules. Jack, who had rised to lieutenant in one kf the many armies, lost his position. Cain even managed to piss off one the seven sins. Soon, they were expelled and assigned a warlock to monitor (Assigned by a very lovely Reaper, which are responsible for conjuring vampiric magic, the same kind of magic the barabell family+ others passes on). Cain and Jack found themselves being tamed from a rowdy, no-good evil doer to a more conformed, humanized demon so they could work better as servants. They were passed down from son to daughter, to mom to son, and so on, so forth. The most notable instances would be Lunzelle Barabell, who was notorious for her interactions with demons and experimentation with corruption and necromancy. Due to unknown reasons, she fell off the map to never be heard from again. Not even cain and jack know. Another instance was with Amelia, who had used them as friends during her youth at first, but eventually realized their power and locked them in a heavily warded vial. That brought them to Bo, where they had been let out after a fight with a witch. Moved to frostfort, got the letter, now on a farm.

The Empress and Emperor's relationship is genuinely so interesting. Watching makes you want her to just leave him already, but watching them is so fascinating I'll miss their interactions

You can tell their relationship started off loving in their childhood, with the way they interacted(they raised a tree together, that's the sweetest thing), but when they became rulers their relationship just slowly fell apart. The Empress got invested in her work since it's the role she was raised for and she genuinely loves her job, meaning that while she loved him she ended up inadvertently distancing herself from their relationship, and he is more impulsive and while he does his role he clearly does not put the same care in his responsibility to his people, and while he is upset about their distancing relationship instead of mending it he tries to gain control

The emperor's fundamental flaw in his relationships is that he values control and devotion, which sets up a toxic environment. The Empress cannot give him devotion because she has a job, and he loves Rashta because he has control over her, and since she has a similar love of control she gives him devotion, since devotion gives her control over him. That puts Rashta in a tricky spot, since her control is emotional and circumstancial, while the emperor's over her is legal and much more concrete. This makes their relationship inherently shakey because they are not and cannot be honest to each other, the power dynamics is too disproportional

Meanwhile with the Empress he tries to gain control over her with mind games and power plays, and ironically distances himself from her. He goes through her stuff, pretends to kill a bird she loves because of jealousy, and tries to make her be friends with Rashta. He tries to force her into loving him like Rashta does, but just serves to make her tired stressed and resentful. He never stops to speak to her clearly about his feelings or her feeling, which leads to miscommunication. He assumes she knows everything that's going on in his head and his interpersonal relationships because she's always been reliable and one step ahead, and he forgets that she's human. She has feelings and she doesn't inherently know his plans. She doesn't know the divorce is temporary because he never tells her. And he doesn't know she feels betrayed and unloved because he never asks, and just assumes she is as she has always been, infallible. He misunderstands that relationships take work, and he hasn't done the work in a long time. He tries to get in her good graces through gifts, but she's not Rashta. If she wants something she can get it herself, she's his wife gifts simply won't make up for emotional connections (it doesn't really for Rashta either but that situation is different). When he tries to do power plays with her, she can leave. It's hard but at the end of the day, unlike Rashta the empress can leave

And the empress ALSO does NOT get how relationships work. She can form and maintain healthy relationships, and she's genuine in all that she does, but she still doesn't get them. She assumes everything is business. Her relationship with the emperor is arranged, and while there was love there at some point, she saw it as a job. And with the other king(I forgot everyone's names😭) she loves him, but they keep having miscommunications because she doesn't get that he genuinely loves her, and sees her role there as a duty. She loves, yes, but she assumes everyone expects her to fill a role since that's what she's been told, and she does not understand love without strings attached and a role to fill

It's just so interesting how they're all so messy and you can see their flaws and assumptions about the world informing their relationships and actions

Olympus he said the trip to the store went too well and then paying the bill for the electric went too smoothly and some other stuff and these people want him to feel eerie and he doesn't he feels they're busy messing each other up and they're going to try and get to it and that's what's going on for real they're out there in the 19th and 20th ring fighting like hell and they are also fighting over the prison here now and a few more in Florida but no all of them and it's going on and they're idiots and they're all getting killed finding over to this prisons and it's obvious what they're up to and we're going to get rid of them it's finally very clear and after each other to put each other in prison anyone to find ours and put her son in there and threaten to the be the person who uses him to grab the other people and others think they manipulate it and they're finding out they are not and that it might be stupid some a lot of them think that it is stupid it's just attracts their attention so they're going to mess these people up theyre sick of their extortion. There's a lot of hits that have been issued and on most of the people in the neighborhood. There is 50 households left and they're pretty much all going to go out there today and they're going to try and get a huge Force out there and then been amassing and their ships are going to get in on it too and Tommy f could not be happier there's a lot of new statistics we're going to get to it in a minute

Uhhhh... Motherfucking au where everything's the same but SBI is canon and techno is a person with morals and empathy.

So the 16th was an overreaction and he actually regrets it. He got really swept away with everything in pogtopia and Wilbur egging everything on didn't help. So when he starts his retirement he actually means it and there's no wither arc

He still forgets to tell anyone he's in retirement so the butcher army kinda happens as it did before. He actually willingly follows them back to lmanberg for a trial (he doesn't just immediatelly comply with them of course but no actual battle Takes place)

He gets executed without trial and wether he has the totem or not he doesn't use it. He loses a life, figuring that if he gives them their show of power this whole shitshow is finally gonna be over.

He finds Tommy and like any decent person but especially a brother he takes him in officially. No raccooning needed. He focuses on helping Tommy recover a bit, both physically and mentally while doing his thing and keeping an eye out for lmanberg, if they decide one life wasn't enough.

Hiding from dream and stuff is p much the same

Phil comes back by himself.

They don't exactly have any reason to go to lmanberg so they don't exactly do.

Well. Mostly. They sometimes sneak around especially when dream is there to kinda scout what's going on. It's a compromise. Techno is gonna support him in getting stronger and getting info for his endgoal of getting the disks back and Tommy will hold back for now and be patient.

Butcher army still moves onto dream anyways because... Idk I feel like quackity would've gotten to him anyways like. Why not yknow.

The festival happens and the community House scene is pretty similar

Dream blames it on Tommy, wants the disc tubbo has, Tommy reveals himself.

The whole thing is just hilarious because. Yknow. People didn't know Tommy was alive. So first they thought dream was insane and then Tommy fckin entered the stage. Techno backs him up. Tubbo is pissed. His reasons are pretty different while also being pretty much the same.

Tommy let him think he killed himself and was okay doing so while going after his stupid discs. He's alive so there's the possibility he actually did blow up the community House and give them trouble with dream. Lmanberg and techno aren't cool or anything. After the execution they were just mutually ignoring each other. Lmanberg thinking he was like. Scared or some shit.

Listen. Tubbos just been having a hard time ok.

They still kinda have their shouting match because both have been bottling up shit

Dream gets the disc

Dream announces doomsday

Tommy sides with tubbo

Techno is ok with that. He didn't have an agenda. He's in retirement. He makes it clear though that this means that that's where they part. Techno's taking his retirement very serious. Techno and him had the compromise that techno would help Tommy get ready to get the disks back before releasing him back into the wild. If Tommy gets involved now, this deal ends.

Techno's Not getting involved with this conflict.

Tommy pretends to think for a few seconds but there was never a decision to be made in his mind.

They hug and part ways

Tommy still rallies the people

It still falls apart after he leaves

People are still pissed at him

So doomsday arrives and it goes pretty much the same except. Yknow. No techno or philza.

Dream releases several withers like. One or two hours early because he's a fucking bitch. (Here he actually has wither skulls himself)

And when I say several I mean several

Once he has enough spreading chaos and keeping everyone busy he builds the tnt grid and yeah.

Lmanberg is a crater anyways.

However. Philza (who in this au actually bothered to learn about the country he helped rebuilt and lived in for weeks) went and got all of ghostburs stuff the night before because. Yknow. I want him to a bit more of a good person in this.

Also. Yknow. Friend.

There's still a lot of shit blown up. The minecraft-blade-soot-innit family ain't saints. They got ghostburs shit. That's it.

So afterwards most of the shit goes the same with dream. The scenes on the grid etc etc etc

When Tommy after a long day enters his house there's technoblade and Phil and ghostbur who've been waiting for him to come home after that shitshow. They comfort him, tell him he can always come visit them in the Arctic or even live there with them if he wanted. He declined but thanks them anyways

They spend the night just to make sure he'll be okay.

The next day they go back to the antarctic

Mostly the same stuff as in canon happens

Tommy and Tubbo still get the gear for the fight against dream themselves. Tommy made the decision to do the disc thing without techno during the community House scene and he wants to respect techno by not going back on that. Though he knows if really necessary he could go and barely need to do any convincing for Techno to help him out with some gear

Getting worried about tubbo he doesn't want to chance it but not wanting to put techno on the spot he tries to steal and very similar to canon techno just pretends to be too busy to care.

When they leave techno Phil and ghostbur are also waiting for them though not on the prime path. They're a bit off to the side and them and the duo don't talk. Tommy's already done that with them after he got dreams invitation. Theyre just there to see him go off.

They're not with the saving group but they don't need to be and one of the first things Tommy does after his victory is private message them that he's safe and they won and dreams in prison.

He comes over for dinner the next day to tell them in more detail so they know what's going on and that's about it for season 2

I'm not getting into season 3 now and probably never but a few tidbits about it

Tommy still has to somewhat earn the diamonds for his hotel from philza. The minecraft-blade-soot-innit family might be semi functional but that doesn't mean Phil just gives them money whenever they ask for it. That's not how you raise kids.

Tommy obviously sends them an invite to the hotel opening anyways and techno asks what the VIP perks are

Tubbo and Tommy still have to work through a lot just like in canon. Add to that that tubbo doesn't quite know what to think about Tommy and his family being this close again. On one hand they weren't involved with doomsday like in canon and have just been keeping to themselves since Techno's execution. On the other Techno's behaviour in season 1 is still fresh in his mind and "he was having a rough patch" kind of doesn't just give him closure on that. Like he's not mad. He just doesn't know what to think of it. Cuz like. Techno's not trying to redeem himself or anything. He started his retirement because after getting out of that ravine and the adrenaline fading and just having time to think and realize what happened he realized that he couldn't let himself be controlled by the voices anymore so it's like. Going from full on alcoholic to no alcohol at all ever within a day. And to make that possible he focuses just on his retirement. This isn't about becoming a better person per se it's about not getting so strung up in shit that you tell your younger brother to die while sicking withers on him. He recognizes that he fucked up. He accepted lmanbergs judgement of executing him. Now he just wants his fckin peace. And that's kinda weird to think about for someone in tubbos position. Because. Yeah.

Thinking about Tommy spending time with his family like everything's peachy irks him because. Kinda makes it seem like everything's resolved. Like he's okay with them just having a happy ending despite them not really deserving one. But with time he realizes that Tommy needs them as a support system and that getting worked up about it just isn't worth it.

Uhhhhh and that's about it I think

Ooooh, semi-functional family sbi and clingy duo angst? Love that!

I do wonder how the whole exile debacle would go if they were actual family, especially considering that Phil was in New L'Manburg and therefore knew about the exile and could go visit Tommy freely, same with Techno actually (except for the being in New L'Manburg part), but, like, for him we can pretend he didn't know. Like, would Phil try and go visit Tommy more then once? Or would Dream find a way to keep him away? Maybe make him think he has no right to meddle with Tommy's life just now?

Also I wonder how Ranboo would be involved in all of this. Because if Techno and Phil were not there during Doomsday I doubt they invited him to live with them and I doubt they made the Syndicate, so would Ranboo live with Tuboo? Would he try to act as a sort of mediator for Clingy Duo?

Like, there are so many possibilities for this....

1. i would actually get the idea people look down on the underworld gods bc like yeah theyre scary and unwelcomed, but like its undercut by rachel making them the most desirable and most powerful for?? reasons?? like she wants them to be underdogs while at the same time being the best at everything, which is her issue with persephone too, she also has to be powerless and humble but also the most unique and powerful. she wants us to root for them when they have no actual struggles.

2. i dont take reviews for anything, tbh. the "professional" reviews LO got were all by people who are also at the same printing house, so theyre literally paid to say something nice for marketing even if they dont like it (i work in publishing, we do this all the time), and amazon reviews arent regulated, so of course LO stans will flood it to fluff it up. thats what let's play fans have been doing too for years now too, despite it being wattpad markipiler fanfic.

3. I know comparing characters isn’t right but honestly LO has enough wrong going on I won’t feel bad. Persphone isn’t interesting on her own in LO. A lot of her character is having things happen to her except for flirting with Hades and killing mortals (and maybe running away as a reaction to Zeus). Persphone we are told she is smart, naive, powerful but powerless. Her character literally is whatever RS thinks fits the chapter the best. Persphone has no clear goals other than wanting Hades, what’s her major? What was the next step after college? Do the other gods go to college? Why doesn’t she know what sleeping to the top means but knows so much about flirting with a man who has a gf? What was she suppose to be doing if she never met hades?

Although the other female cast may not be likeable, they do actually do stuff that drives their own character

Minthe may have fallen into a shitty relationship with Hades, but she feels sick about the ring and treats Hades because he doesn’t listen to her. She leads Persphone to the wrong location cause she doesn’t like her. She fights hades (not a good thing but does something to the plot)

Daphne has Persphones background, grew up in the mortal realm. However she’s a lot more interesting. Demeter probably isn’t strict with Daphne, but Daphne is now and influencer with business deals and when forced to Dave Apollo bits and threatens him. And even before with Apollo wanted to find out her own opinions on the guy.

Hecate isn’t a main character but enjoys to be in the plot and leaves the plot as she pleases, she’s support but also seems like there more to her than shown. She likes chaos, gardening, and expanding her knowledge.

Aphrodite, drove the plot with the drugs and car thing, NOT A GOOD THING but actually did something. Was looking for her husband, testing her son may not be the best character but actually leaves marks on the story telling despite not showing up a lot.

Artemis, invites Persphone into her home, has always been this sliver footed hunter, was doing fine before persphone, but also has her own family issues

Demeter fought in a war, has her own morals and ethics when raising a daughter, may have messed up but again actually contributes to the plot

Hera pushes HXP together and apart, has her own interesting drama, seduced Kronos and paid for it gravely, DID have an affair with hades. Not good things but contributions.

Thetis manipulates people

Persphone just doesn’t do much herself in the comic. She didn’t want to go to the party, she didn’t want the job, a lot of the plot is having her having something happen to her. The drugging, the Apollo the offers, Meg offering her clothes even. She doesn’t drive the plot other than flirting with Hades even knowing about Minthe, killing those mortals, and turning Minthe into a plant, but none of those things are even framed as wrong. It’s like even when she does make a “mistake” it doesn’t “count”

4. DID HADES ACTUALLY REALLY HONESTLY SAY ZEUS' RAGE IS MISMANAGED!?!

5. Since we’re talking about self-inserts, hell, I have like 3 characters in my book that can be argued to be my self inserts. But the difference is that while I project onto them plenty, I still remember they are my CHARACTERS, not me. I give them flaws, I write them how I would any other, and I make them suffer consequences when needed. There’s a difference between that and whatever the hell RS is doing with Persephone

Not to beat a dead horse but even with Hades saying he misspoke in calling Persephone his wife - considering they arent dating and have only known each other for a short time period, it still sounds weird, right? Like in the newer chapters (I think) Hades and Persephone discuss going on a "first date" after the trial is over which would be fine - except A). It sounds as though even if Persephone gets a punishment (like lets say its a Prometheus treatment kinda thing) that they'll just go behind Zeus' back + authority to go on dates anyway, regardless of punishment or not, and B). Hades calling Persephone his wife indicates that despite not even being on a proper date or even knowing her all that well that he already thinks of her as such, which seems a bit presumptuous considering everything thats been happening.

Also ive seen claims far and between that months have passed if not a year since Persephone went on the run / the beginning of the comic - does anyone have a source for that? (The timeline makes everything confusing).

Also, I was told that the trial doesnt take place in the underworld - that it actually takes place in Olympus?? Anyone got a source? Pls and thanks.

From OP, not Anon: From the episodes currently on FP, the trial does take place on Olympus. The underworld is in a constant state of darkness and the place where the trial is being held shows it's visibly daytime. Also, it hasn't been months or a time skip. Some people were confused by Hades's wording because he said 'months'. Saying weeks would've been way better and less confusing.

okay so, im about to go ham because i truly stand strong in my shoujo fantasy.

In my opinion, im pretty sure (like 89%) lucifer tells us that whenever mammon breaks off a relationship with someone, they go broke completely after. so hes had previous relationships before, as for the rest of the boys, im pretty sure lucifer has, but nothing serious, he wont let anyone in, MC is literally the only person who has pushed past his walls and seen him for more than pride. satan, 100% he has never had a relationship, levi, has had a couple of fwbs and other relationships but they always fizzle out, never lasting. asmo has never had a serious relationship, always just flings. belphie never had a serious relationship and same with beel. i truly believe MC is their first true loves, i know what youre thinking "theyve been alive for so long, theres no way someone couldnt have been special to them" but the thing is, theyre so different with MC; their entire dynamic and relationships changed with MC, MC saw them for more than their sin and got to know them to their very core, while yes the other relationships never lasted, thats not to say the boys didnt love them; but just not in the way they love MC. i believe MC to be a true love, not just a love, the difference for me is all of the boys would gladly give up chasing MC once she finds herself happy with another brother, instead of forcing them to choose yk? the "as long as youre happy, it kills me everytime i look at you smile at him, but i love you too much to let you be miserable with me" and i dont think any of them have experienced. also, with the whole "new relationship" thing, the honey moon phase, while yes every couple has it, i feel like with MC it would just, last. not to say they wouldnt have fights; ofc they would, but its different with MC, everyday the brothers would wake up and chose the option to love and fall in love all over again, speaking further on that, i dont think any of them would truly get over MC. and i mean that; (i dont think MC is going to die, obey me devs have something planned LOL, plus theyre super powerful, like the other anon said i dont think theyd be able to really function without them, even if they do "get over" mcs death at some point.) after MC dies i feel like the family dynamic wouldnt be the same, the brothers would get quieter and would never truly forget about it? and every relationship would fail because theyre not MC (you dont have to agree but i love reverse harems), like i 100% hc that after MC chooses another brother or after they die, mammon would try and try to find new flings, even after its been decades mammon finds someone whos super similar to MC, their look, personality, etc, but one wrong move and theyre out. (say MC doesnt like pickles, but the replacement for MC does, he would immediately start crying and call mc a stupid human who he shouldnt have fallen for.) anyways in conclusion, i truly dont think MC would ever die canonically in the obey me game, the devs are sneaky (love you devs), but even if they would, i really feel like they would never get truly over it. some part of me truly believes that the brothers would go back to being distant, how they were before. they would sit at the table and eat in silence, asmo would begin partying ten times harder (since we already know he uses his ego to cover up his major insecurity of people not liking him and how he feels about himself) and the brothers would become even more indugled in their sin. also, for every relationship they would have, they would just compare them to MC, and yeah but I cannot see MC dying. the other stuff about what the brothers would be like after MC dies could also be applied to when MC chooses her s/o. i think the brothers would be super fucking hurt, that was their first love, their first understanding who walked out and chose someone who wasnt them. anyways thats all, you dont have to reply i just felt like i needed to get this off of my chest, also im gonna be pretty frequent on your blog ( i love ur writing ) so im gonna call myself cake anon! have a great day! - cake anon

I agree with the Mammon part. Out of all of the brothers, i feel he is probably the easiest to get emotionally attached in a relationship, so i see him as the one with the most previous relationships. Asmo coming in second, but his being mostly flings or poly/open relationships. I’m sure Mammon has had some serious ones as well as many flings, where Asmo’s have never been overly serious and certainly never long lasting. I’m also sure Luci has had a few, some more serious than others, but he wouldn’t get overly attached emotionally. I’m sure he’d be too busy with Diavolo since arriving, being the workaholic he is. I’m sure not many partners would be willing to deal with that level of non-commitment and emotional unavailability from him.Levi I feel like all his relationships never left that awkward early stage, and his only ‘serious’ relationships would have been strictly online, maybe a couple meetups that made him nope right out of it. Satan, again, has probably just gone on some casual dates but didn’t have much interest in actually dating rather than gaining connections. i feel like Beel is the most likely candidate to have had healthy previous relationships. He is pretty well balanced emotionally and has a good outlook on love and family values. I’m sure he’s had a few serious relationships and has dated his share of people. Belphie gives me vibes of had one or two previous serious relationships that did not end well at all and now he’s a salty sob over it lmao.

I still don’t feel like MC is necessarily their first true love, but maybe the first different kind of love for them. MC has reached them in ways no one else has, they don’t try to change anything, they fit in well with the whole family, they understand their sins etc. I have loved a few different people in my life, and each one was such a different experience for me. The first guy i loved, i consider to be my first true love. However, it didn’t work. And then i met the man I eventually married, he wasn’t my first true love, but it was a better kind of love, yk?

And uugghh you ripped my heart out with how the brothers would feel if MC chose a different brother!!!! Because they all would be so heartbroken it’s not them, but they really truly just want mc to be happy and cared for, and they know their brother would keep them safe and provide well.

A few asks ago, i mentioned that the brothers would move on eventually. I think there is a big difference in moving on and getting over that I maybe didn’t articulate very well. If MC were to die or choose someone else, they would move on eventually, but they might not ever really get over it. My heart hurts just thinking about how they would feel trying to move on. Like you mentioned, the empty, quiet dinner tables, lackluster parties and festivals, it would be like they lost their best friend. (i giggled picturing your mammon scenario with the pickle because that’s exactly how he’d react to something so small lmaooo)

I also agree that i don’t think the devs will kill mc off (again), that just seems like a really crappy way to end the game!! I’m curious to see how they would make different routes go if you can only romance one of them end game, vs you being able to have them all? I wonder if we’d get a choice in the whole becoming immortal thing or not?

Sorry this is late. I got so busy with work and then allergies hit me so fucking hard. I’m getting over the allergies though so don’t worry. I’m fine. Okay so with Hawkins going on hysteria I high key think they are doing that. Like it makes no sense that they wouldn’t dive into it especially because, at least from what I know of tumblr, the brothers said that they got to explore more of what they’ve wanted to do in this next season. Which in my belief the hysteria aspect was always there. Starting with Will and then Barbara and then it just kept getting worse. We’ve been saying this a lot but there is no way in hell that the people in Hawkins is actually able to let this shit go. Which I also loved that you said that the gang is also now in shambles. Because also I don’t think many people thought of this but I just got in this train thought: like we all know that the Byers left but would the town be suspicious that they left? Would the town then also be suspicious of the party even more? Like I know the move was for their own good but some people have to be making theories in that town. Like the first time that tragedy truly happened (at least from what they know) was when Will disappeared and then came back to life. These motherfuckers would def have some theories about that shit.

Ohh I love that theory with Eddie. To be honest I really don’t know or understand what is role is yet even though we have the trailers and stuff. Like I am so excited and his character makes me so happy. But I’m also stuck on the theory that everyone is going to get betrayed at one point so like…. I love the Steve and Eddie ship but like also I am so attached to angst! Don’t get me wrong I also love the found family shit and think that’s highly important in this show. However, the angst and tragedy are also so important like we legit got someone being killed in the first 5 minutes of the pilot episode! And Will got taken in the first ep! They legit did not mess around with that! It’s about how even though their lives have so much trauma they’re able to confide in one another and create a family! Which even though I am a huge fan of the angst, I am also still upset that we didn’t get that many of scenes where theyre all surrounding each other and just being goofy and acting like a family. I legit have a head cannon (set after season 2 but before 3) that every Friday night they get together at each Joyce’s, Hopper’s cabin, and maybe Steve’s if his family isn’t around. And they get together for dinner and whatnot but also they just have so much fun doing it. They complain but that’s because Joyce is trying to teach hopper how to cook and most times he ends up burning the food so sometimes he sets shit on fire. And even though having someone with powers you would think that wouldn’t happen and it would be a help: it is not!! They oftentimes just end up making those egos that we saw el have in season 2 with hopper or they get takeout when Joyce complains they’ve had that for two Friday’s in a row and it is not healthy. Also you would think Jonathan with his cooking would be a help: he is not, he is watching this chaos go and he is enjoying it!

Ok ay enough if that and now for Steve and Will!! Yes they legit would talk about the simplest thing and Steve would just want to defend him and totally have that mind set that you were talking about. Like I think it’s why I have that head cannon of them playing cards after everything in season 2 (which I still haven’t written but like I will soon. Probably only after my finals though which is like somewhat soon it’s like on May and I’ll have time after to do it before the next season drops). It’s such a simple thing to do after all of the fucking chaos that they have experienced. Also it just shows a lot about who they are and how they deal with the upside down crap. But also they just enjoy doing simple things with their friends like Will wanting to play dnd for season 3(even though it was mainly about his friends ignoring him it was also about just wanting to play a game to be able to be just kids again). And Steve also just wants to spend time with his friends and does it in such a simple way. For example he gave Dustin advise in season 2. This is an example because they’re in the middle of the most craziest bullshit ever and are literally marching themselves to an almost death and yet Steve still decides to make this so casual/simple. Another example is Steve with Robin. Okay I fully believe that sometimes Steve just failed at flirty was to make Robin laugh. Like he probs saw how much she enjoyed teasing him and wanted to make her laugh too. I also believe that Steve enjoyed the teasing too: like maybe at first it wasn’t the best but def later on he was totally fine with it and it really didn’t seem like the teasing bothered him that much. Okay I am going to have to split this again since I have way too many thoughts to tell you and I thought it wouldn’t take full on ass essays this time. Cuz you’re probs getting bored now with me giving essays sooo.

with the photos and all the stuff from the magizine I think that hawkins hystria is espically a go! like the whole parent intervention with lucas, dustin, and max- probably because of mike running away paired with the death of (I'm guessing) chrissy. I can see the town on even more edge when yet another teenage girl is found dead because of mysterious circumstances. that'll probably draw suspision to the gang if mike just so happens to run away around the same time as chrissy's death, espically since he's been hanging out with eddie and in the hellfire club. and you're so right, I wonder if people find it odd that the byers moved? small towners like to gossip so I'm guessing people know how close hopper and joyce were and they assume that's largely why they left. but with everything, them leaving, mike running away, everything at starcourt, and now another strange death, people have to start looking at the party in some way or another. like I don’t believe there’s not one person in town who had linked that these weird kids have this tie to everything. like small town gossip is so heavy even now in the world of social media and a certain disconnect from your neighbors, imagine it in the 80s? gossip is their entertainment! it’s what these little places thrive on lol, so there’s no way there’s no wild conspiracies being made up in hair salons and bars across town.

I’m also curious to see what eddie’s role is in the dynamic because steve and nancy have this long established weird ex-relationship held together by the fact that they’ve fought monsters together and have been in “end of the world” situations together three times now. even though robin’s new, she and steve had that whole week of russian-code cracking and then being interrogated together so they’re bonded through that. eddie has no idea what’s up. I think it’ll be really neat to have an outsiders perspective on everything happening and like a live reaction to how insane all of that shit is because we really didn’t get that with robin besides down in the base, everything after moved too fast. like we’ve said before, hawkins will get the darker plot line this season by the looks of it, so I think some angst teen dynamics are in store (which I’m so excited about!) but I also think they’ll try to balance it out with some humor and I’m hoping that come between eddie and steve’s clashing personalities and the robin and nancy’s as well.

I love love love the domestic found family shit :,) so much! like they all just care about each other, have little family dinners together in between all of their crazy otherworld bs. because that really is the heart of the show; family, friends, and the importance oof them both.

steve and will are literally the cutest pair. like let them be friends! let steve try to give will really bad advice! let them play cards together! I wish there was time in the show to explore steve’s relationships with all of the kids but I guess that’s what fanfic is for lol. and you’re so right about steve and robin. like I don’t think steve ever saw her as a kind of romantic interest until dustin said something and he was kind of like “hm, okay?” before that, he was on the fence between annoying co-worker that actually enjoyed being around because sure she teases him at his fails at flirting but it makes him feel like he has a friend again. and he liked to make her laugh! and then all of their russian trauma kind and how he took her whole speech made him think like “maybe?” in respect to something happening between them. THEN when she comes out it doesn’t change his opinion of her! because he liked her as a friends first and foremost! ugh, I could literally write an essay about their friendship and how much I love them! and how much I love your asks! these are so fun and I love talking with you :)

HI I FORGTO TO POST THIS UM ANWA S i am thinking about the besties (six mono rk and rcg obviously) and i wanted to write down a little. a little thing abt their relationships idk what to call this i am just thinking (this is all my personal thoughts btw u dont have to agree with anything i say but feel free 2 give some of ur own input :] )

OK SO this is sort of long(?) so haha

starting with six; six’s closest buddy is (obviously) mono; they’re basically inseperable and may as well be attached at the side at this point. if you see one and not the other then Run because the other is behind you probably /j because six has never felt as though she has a safe space, she often considers mono her home, whether she realises it or not, and mono feels a similar way they go to each other for help and can communicate sometimes without words, theyre both happy to tolerate each other and theres clearly a bond between them you could see from a mile away. they rarely get seriously upset with each other and when they do they find a comfortable way to work it out. six would probably kill for mono, and he’d gladly die for her in return, even when none of them outright admit it. mono is one of the only people six actually talks to, and the only person allowed to touch her. on top of just being great friends that do truly care for each other in their own ways, they’re also an amazing duo that are great alone but are close to unstoppable together; they both have their own strengths that almost perfectly balance each other out, even when their differences sometimes get in the way, and theres really no situation they cant get out of as a team

next in line is rcg (i will refer 2 her as sandy to make this easier and because i think that is a cute name for her); sandy is like six’s older sister (tbh she is everyones older sister) and theyre both on pretty good terms with each other, shes pretty comfortable with sandy and trusts her a decent amount, if mono isnt around six wont hesitate to come to sandy for help and sandy will happily oblige :] six doesnt say it much but she appreciates that sandy is there to help and puts up with sixs sometimes unruly behavior and overall shenanigans, while sandys glad she can be a sort of guardian figure for six (and most of the other kids) and she finds the trust that the two of them are carefully forming is a great reward (six let her braid parts of her hair once and sandy was so honored, it has never happened again but sandy is determined that it will) last but not least is six’s relationship with rk; they don’t get along the best, and it probably would take a while to get them to really interact, and they definitely like to bicker or poke fun at each other from across the room but eventually, overall they tend to really just stay out of each others business. this proves 2 be hard sometimes though as they are kind of now in the same friend group (playable characters gang!!!!! *partying face emoji*)

despite this theres still quite a few things they can bond over, and theyre both pretty comfortable in the sort of “frenemy” spot. most of the time they really dont mind situations where they have to team up together and just get along for a while, even if they still bully each other throughout nowwww time for mono!!!!!!!!!!! right away six is his best friend, like i said before theyre basically the same person except for the fact that theyre sort of total opposites he just adores her, thinks she is the absolute coolest and is always willing to give her his undivided attention. will obviously tell her off when needed but he’s always gentle and patient with her, and is always on her side, and six lets him know in her own way that she appreciates him greatly he loves to drag her into his activities and make sure shes included like i said before hes always patient with her, and makes sure she’s comfortable, for example when he goes to hug her (or just touch her at all) he’ll wait for a sign from her saying its okay; and if she’d rather be left alone he just sits with her and waits, ready for whenever she needs him for basically anything, and six always does the same for him

next is rcg/sandy!!!! like basically everyone else, he sees her sort of as an older sister, and appreciates her helping out with six’s shenanigans and being there for six when he isnt able to, even for a little bit. they actually make a pretty good team as well, and have tons in common. both of them love trying out new things and usually make plans together, and sandys happy to let him talk whenever he wants; whether he’s ranting, infodumping, or just bored and looking to strike up conversation, shes there to chat with!! also he loves her hugs because she always picks him up and spins him around and again rk!!!! the two of them arent very close but still pretty friendly with each other and always manage to find things to talk about whenever theyre together, mono is always ecstatic to learn more about the nomes and rk happily shares his knowledge mono is also always trying to find ways to bring rk and six closer together, but always respects their boundaries, and rk appreciates it all tons now for sandy/rcg *evilly rubs my paws together* starting with rk! dead buddies ahaha anyways like ive pointed out multiple times rcg sees the others as siblings, and rk is no exception! the two of them spend tons of time together, playing games usually with their nome friends!! sandy often drags him into doing things with her especially when shes trying out something new shes always happy to be there for him whenever he gets nervous about something (which. kinda happens a lot) and rk is there to comfort her in return when needed they share things with each other a lot, whether its information or physical objects or literally anything, they always feel the need to share it with the other now six!! sandy is absolutely stoked to have a younger sister and six enjoys having an older sister as well sandy is always there for six whenever she needs something, and is working hard to gain her trust; she always gets excited whenever six wants to do something together, which in turn often makes six feel appreciated i@dont even know what else to put here she just?? takes care of her very well ! she loves to tease six but always makes sure not to go over the line (kinda applies 2 everyone else aswell) mono!!! sandy adores his attitude and loves chatting with him, theres always something new to talk abt with him! they also have an unspoken “must protect six” code n chat about her a lot (all good things obviously) even if they dont hang out too much she always has fun hangin out w him or getting together to plan stuff !! i probably shouldve formatted this better bc ivre kind of already written rks relationship with everyone else but here we go anyways

rk and sandy!! rk is probably closest to her (and the nomes ofc) and just overall spends a lot of time around her, no matter what he’s doing he loves crafts, and sandy is always glad to join in making things, sometimes they make stuff for eachother they also help out the nomes a lot together!! they make lil shelters/forts for them, sometimes for fun out of pillows and blankets and other times theyre more stable things, or, more often, they help clean out holes in the walls to make them liveable now mono!! rk loves to share his knowledge of the nomes with him, and they bond over other things too; for example both of them are interested in bugs :] actually they both adore most animals and rk is sure to let mono know whenever he finds a cool creature! rk also appreciates that mono tries to help six and rk become a little closer, as usually his schemes are harmless, whether they work or not aaaand six! like i said before theyre not the best of friends and poke fun at eachother a lot, but when they need to team up they’ll somewhat tolerate each other. as much as he wants to, rk finds it hard to forgive six for yknow. eating him. six refuses to be very open about her side of the story, or atleast parts, which makes it a little harder, but theyre working on it and eventually they can atleast tolerate each other on top of that though, theyre also sort of opposites; rk thinks six is just mean and unruly, meanwhile six thinks rk is too soft and somewhat of a doormat but again. overall they learn to put up with each other (barely)

going to where seungmin pat the spot for you to sit, he sighs. “i know this is hard, but you know how stray kids is debuting soon?” you nod, knowing where this is leading to. “i- we have to break up” he paused. “but you know i love you right? i promise id come back after three years okay baby?” holding you tears, you looked into his eyes, that are full of sadness.

trying your best to hold your tears in, you gave him one last hug. before parting different ways, seungmin kissed your lips. letting go, you put the promise ring he gave you 2 years ago on his palm and walked away. letting the tears running onto your cheeks as you walked away from the room.

with a sobbing seungmin left alone in the practice room. holding your promise ring made him feel guilty, but it wasnt his fault that he had to do this.

tell me once again, say that you love me again

packing all of seungmins stuff that was at your house and looking though them made your heart burn. from they day he asked you out after school to whenever you two last hung out with each other, which was over 2 months ago.

because now that you and seungmin auditioned to be in the same company, but with seungmin, he had a little bit more talent than you did. it didnt mean you didnt have talent, it just meant you were physically ready to become an idol. still improving, many idols were amazed at how well your singing and dancing was.

finally taping seungmins box, you went to the stray kids dorm and dropped it off and to say goodbye to the boys. deciding to switch to a new company to focus more instead of dealing with you heartbreak.

you rung the doorbell and you come face-to-face with seungmin. handing seungmin the box, you asked if it was okay to say goodbye to the boys, which made seungmin confused. where you going somewhere? ending your dreams?

seungmin moved to the side for you to come in. as seungmin closed the door, a voice was heard. “seungmo! who’s here- oh” looking up, you see minho. your eyes that was red and puffy ran more tears down as you ran up and hugged minho.

minho was in fact the one who introduced you to seungmin. accidentally falling in love with seungmin, you told minho all about it and he eventually told seungmin about your feelings towards him. seungmin, who felt the same way, made the best way to confess to you, which was a success.

minho hugged you back, caressing you back as seungmin looked down and went back to his room. “its okay love, its okay” minho shushed you as you cried into his chest. settling you two in the living room, the whole stray kids but seungmin came out of their rooms, comforting you as they all knew what happened between you and seungmin.

30 minutes passed and you decided it was time to go. giving the boys one last hug, you made sure they’ll have good luck when theyre now idols.

“just know, ill love you guys forever. thank you”

im where ive always been, i still love you

almost 2 years had gone by and you finally debuted into a three member group. with being the main vocalist and dancer. being invited to the award shows, your group gracefully posed on the red carpet, right after stray kids. accidentally locking eyes with seungmin, you almost teared up but you had to be strong.

sitting down in front of stray kids, you grew anxious as if nobody else other than stray kids and yerim knew about your past relationship. stilling having feelings for seungmin, you let them go and paid attention to the show that was now starting.

“hyung, dont you think y/n looks like shes about to pass out?” jeongin asked seungmin. after you left the dorms that day, seungmin didnt know where you were. nobody told him anything about you other than you leaving jyp. you and your group was hidden from social media until your company announced a new girl group was debuting soon.

after seungmin got the news about you, he felt so relieved, knowing that you were still here living. on the pictures online, you looked like a goddess. the way your singing was beautiful and your dancing were sharp. he was amazed at how far you came.

but when seungmin saw you in person, it looked like you were on the verge of passing out due to how thin you looked. it looked like you couldnt perform on what your condition is.

feeling unsteady, your group was the last ones to perform. getting into your costumes, you fell back slightly when yerim pushed you up. after seeing how weak your body has been acting, she was worried something might happen to you on stage. and seeing how you reacted when you saw seungmin again made her worried.

“y/n, are you sure you got this?” yerim asked. nodding your head a yes with a smile on you, you gave her a thumbs up. with the smile that hid everything. yerim nodded her head, your group was ready to perform.

among the three girls that was on the stage, seungmin only looked out for you. anxiety rising, seungmin bit his lips which changbin rubbing his back to calm down.

the end of the performance, you tried your best to stay still, but you only saw blurry vision. as you were about to get off stage, you fainted with your head hitting the floor first. gasping were loud from everyone as yerim and sunni tried to lift you up and go back to the dressing rooms.

as soon as seungmin saw everything, he stood up and tried to run towards you till he was stopped by chan. “seungmin you cant. everyone’s going to find out” “i dont care hyung, the person i love the most is hurt” seungmin said and let go of chan’s hand that was gripped around seungmins wrist.

seungmin runs through the halls and tries to find your groups room. after finding it, he gently pushes away people who are near you and gets a view of you on the couch. “s-seungmin” both sunni and yerim said together. “yerim, what happened to her” seungmin asked, skipping the honorifics since they know each other.

yerim bites her lips with glossy eyes, scared of what to tell seungmin what you’ve been doing. “yerim?! i said whats going on with y/n-” “she tried to kill herself!” seungmin pauses and tries to lets what yerim said sink into him.

“w-what? why?” seungmin asks as tears start streaming down his face, as well as sunni’s and yerim’s. “she was scared. scared that she wasnt going to be perfect to be an idol. she started getting hate comments, saying she was too fat. but this is why shes too thin. she wont listen to us when we tell her she needs to rest and to start eating. all she does is practice with no water breaks but somehow, she still hits every move right. other than that, shes scared of what youll see her like again. she still loves you seungmin, but shes scared”

“sunbae, shes not okay. she needs somebody and that somebody is you”

seungmin was stunned by what yerim and sunni told him. “can- can you two leave us for a moment. please?” seungmin asked quietly as everyone left the room. seungmin starred at your body. eyes closed with you as skinny as your bones. it scared him of how you thought so low about yourself.

he doesnt understand it. he doesnt understand how you got every moves and vocals right without anything. where you like this during your relationship? no, it couldnt. both seungmin and you promised each other that you two will never keep secrets to yourself.

seungmin silently cries to himself, thinking of why you wanted to do this to yourself as he held your hand. his tears slowly fall onto you forearms, which wipes the makeup off of your scars you created, which makes seungmin cry more.

because of you fainting, the award show was paused temporally. with this being said, stray kids got up and quickly went to you room until they were stopped by yerim. “dont, seungmins already in there” all of them nods their heads and waited outside the room with minho dropping down, hands in his face with tears as he remembers when you tried to seek help from him but he never answered because he was too busy.

don't leave me alone baby, just stay for the night baby

still holding your hand, seungmin whispers ‘i love yous’ and ‘im sorry, please forgive me’. gaining conscious, you flutter your eyes open and see seungmin in front of you.

“seungmin?”

he opens his eyes to see you awake. “bab- y/n. thank god” seungmin says and hugs you gently. tears start streaming down as you realized he probably knows everything now. “s-seungmin, did they tell you-” “yes they did. and im sorry. so fucking sorry oh my god, please dont do this again. please eat, please do what you loved to do again. i want the old y/n back, the happy one” seungmin lets out.

“okay, ill come back” you told him. seungmin wipes your tears away, as well as his and plants a kiss on your lips. “come back to me again?” nodding your head, you both smile. this time, a real and happy smile from you.

the awards continued on and your group won an award. chan offered your group if they wanted to come for dinner, you were going to decline, but yerim, sunni and seungmin forced you to, wanting you to start eating again.

heading out, the eleven of you walked to the nearest korean bbq while holding seungmin’s hand. feeling the warmth youve been missing for 2 years.

I spent 2 hours on writing notes from the prison podcast stream.

Now I don’t know what to do with them, so I’m putting them here.

No need to read them, there is just some interesting stuff I noticed, things like tones and how many times somethings are brought up.

What is your Primarch Errant AU?

long story short: me being self indulgent accidentally created a really interesting scenario

it's basically an au where instead of fulgrim killing ferrus, ferrus wins their duel and captures fulgrim alive as the loyalists retreat from isstvan, but the blade of laer is left behind on isstvan. fulgrim snaps out of his slaaneshi reverie and, in the midst of some serious depression, rejoins the imperium. only fulgrim, though; the emperor's children are still working for chaos. everyone in the imperial side is suspicious of fulgrim for his betrayal of the imperium and everyone in the chaos side hates fulgrim for being a turncoat. fulgrim also hates fulgrim. it's the "putting fulgrim through the wringer" AU

like. leman beats the shit out of him. E promises that as soon as he has a moment of free time he's damnatioing fulgrim and then dies. lion keeps insulting him. also he killed all of the loyalists in his legion and when he hears it was a minority it does not make him feel better. good times

i call it the primarch errant au because fulgrim, being completely legionless, eventually basically becomes a part of the knights errant, given what they have in common. he really doesn't want to have any more sons, given how the last ones turned out, (and basically all his brothers agree with his wish, respectfully or not), but he really should make himself useful and well they've got loose space marines And a loose primarch, why not wear them like mismatched socks (malcador's still giving the orders and dorn and russ are still involved, fulgrim is just also there. he provides valuable intel on chaos, acts as an extra pair of eyes overlooking any plans, is around for the knights to talk to, is simultaneously overprotective and overly distant to the one EC knight, yells at dorn, fights sometimes, the works)

(and post-heresy fulgrim to some extent does keep the knights errant going, poaching oddballs out of random chapters. cato sicarius joins after returning from heck. have u ever thought about cato sicarius and fulgrim interacting? comedy gold)

in this au i kind of handwave away stuff like the scene in vengeful spirit where daemon fulgrim functionally saves horus's life but guilliman doesnt actually go into a coma in this au, and ferrus doesnt die, and fulgrim is there, so the imperium is extremely different from canon in the 42nd millennium lol

some misc. notes

fulg is basically near catatonic for a hot fucking minute after isstvan

vulkan is one of the significantly less pissed at fulgrim primarchs

lion conversely is VERY pissed. as is leman

leman beats fulgrim up. fulgrim just lets himself be punched. he animal crossing learnt a new emotion and it is Suffering. this is when it clicks for leman that fulgrim is not ok

the whole possession thing is a state secret. honestly fulgrim continuing to exist period is a bit of a state secret in 40k. most people havent heard of him in millennia. hes still there and correcting guillimans grammar with red pen he just doesnt go outside because (a) he is so busy and (b) so many extremely public things he used to enjoy (live performances, art galleries, the usual) now make him panic

fulgrim adopts sigismund somehow. theyre both in the same shit!! they should probably unionize!!! (they dont. they just commiserate together)

also fulgrim says fuck that to dorn wanting to keep mersadie away from garviel. as soon as he hears the two know each other 40.000 industrial tons of guilt over the remembrancers in his fleet fall into his lungs and so the next time dorn calls him a fucking idiot over a strategy meeting he taps garviel over the shoulder and lets him know about everything and watches the fireworks. yes, dorn loses trust in him, but at that point fulgrim is back enough to be petty, so

(there is an evil, haunted, chaotic pressure cooker at the knights errant hq, and out of all the superhuman heroes and demigods that visit it, only ms. Mersadie Loken, nee Oliton, is brave enough to use it, and nonchalantly)

i have like two scenes written of this au in nigh unintelligible gibberish purple prose and in both of them fulgrim feels like so much shit. i should rewrite them to be intelligible and post them

in the stuff i have written about this au i mention fulgrim and ferrus drink shitty pine tea together and its because theyre both from treeless technohells so anything relating to trees is kind of exotic and luxurious to them. i dont have anything further to add i just. think about it

MASS EFFECT DS9 CROSSOVER PLEASE SHARE SOME THOUGHTS

WELL.

Ok so as far as set up i was picturing like. Wormhole/space magic shenanigans bringing the Normandy to DS9, set somewhere during that little window after Shep and Co. return from the Suicide Mission at the end of 2, but before Shep turns themself in to the Alliance.

The Normandy, badly damaged, limping up to this mysterious space station theyve never seen or heard of before, don't even recognize the outline or architecture, but hey at least they seem to be friendly? And they're offering to help fix our ship and get us back where we need to be so I guess they aren't all bad?

So then Shep and crew are stranded on DS9 for at LEAST a couple weeks while they try to get the Normandy fixed up, and allllll the shenanigans the respective crews get into, especially once they start interacting with each other

-There's the obvious of course, Shepard and Sisko would get along fantastically, I think. Both the leaders of crews of mixed bags, sometimes trying to get them to work together is like herding cats. Strong cats with guns and opinions, but at the end of the day they really are kind of a family, aren't they?

-Both are able to understand what was supposed to be one (relatively) simple mission turning into way more lives at stake than they signed up for (Shep with. Well. The entire events of the trilogy, but then Sisko too. Bring Bajor into the Federation. Thats it, that was the mission, but suddenly we're at war with a frankly stronger superpower from another quadrant and suddenly one station is supposed to be the head of it all? The pressure. The lives at stake if they fail. Yeah.)

As for the rest of the crew:

-The next obvious, I think, would Grunt and Worf. Very different methods and cultures, obviously. I'm not saying they'd necessarily GET ALONG even, but there'd be a mutual respect there, I think. Both coming from warrior races, fighting is in their blood, its what they know. And theyre both outsiders to their own culture, being raised primarily if not exclusively by Someone Else, having to fight for their right to have a place amongst their own people. There's a shared strength in that.

-Mordin and Garak, and their shared past as spies. Garak's penchant for lying with every other word out of his mouth vs Mordin's tendency to only say about half of the words in his sentences, each trying to weasel the truth out of the other. Each at the very least recognizing that theyve done horrible things in their past, but not necessarily having regrets for them. Well, no regrets they're willing to admit to.

-BUT THEN ALSO Mordin and Jadzia, really just. Best Science Bros. Mordin can be extremely focused, which I think might turn Jadzia off of him at first, up until she catches him singing under his breath while he works. And once their discussions start trending more towards the importance of art and culture alongside scientific advancement is when they really start to shine together. Also I think Mordin would be absolutely FASCINATED by the Trill, the symbiotic relationship and the symbiont carrying memories across hosts, how the symbionts and hosts merge, etc. Nothing like that really exists in the ME universe

-Julian and Dr. Chakwas could talk some about medicine, certainly, barring nothing else about the differences in their respective medical technology. But I think ultimately she would get tired of his attitude, and he would decide she didn't really have anything new to teach him.

-Julian, I think, would be much more interested in spending time with EDI and Legion. I mean, consider how he was in the one TNG episode, when he got to meet Data? He would be over the moon especially for a chance to study legion. The Geth Collective is genuinely an interesting idea, and I think he would be fascinated by the varrying levels of simulated intelligence, but without individuality. EDI would be an interesting study, because this would be before she got the mech body, so she would still for all intents and purposes "be" the Normandy. A ship as a living entity? With emotional attachment to the crew inside? Absolutely fascinating. And if it were a bit alter on that this happens? She has wants! And fears! Absolutely fascinating!

-Dr. Chakwas, on the other hand, would probably end up spending her time with Keiko O'Brien. Swapping stories about their times being forced to be on the relative sidelines, having to watch all the horrible things their loved ones are constantly dealing with and only being able to do so much. Keiko's exasperation with Miles and Chakwas' with Joker. (And Shepard). Plus really i just like to imagine them having tea together ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

-Kira Thane and Mordin I can picture spending hours upon hours deep in discussion, about ethics and morality and religion, and how the hell you're supposed to reconcile it all when you have so much darkness in your past.

-Kira and Thane, especially, have a lot to talk about. Kira fighting in the resistance her whole life vs Thane being raised as a living weapon, both deeply spiritual and refusing to believe that their respective peaces are denied to them, that they can still find their own redemption and make up for their pasts.

-Joker would spend a lot of time trying to avoid Julian, who I think would be very insistent on wanting to study his Vrolik's syndrome, and possibly trying to cure it. Joker really Does Not Like Him.

-Tali would inevitably spend a lot of time together with Miles, because assumedly they'd be working on fixing the Normandy together (when Miles isnt busy trying to fix one of DS9's 50 million other problems). I don't know that they'd honestly have much in common aside from engineering-related stuff, but they're both geniuses in their respective versions of their fields and comparing the 2 universe's technologies alone could take more discussion time than they would have.

-I don't think Jack would. Actually try to get along with anyone. I see her spending the vast majority if her time camping out in a holosuite trying to program it to let her kill simulations of everyone she's pissed at.

-Miranda and Julian. The two genetically engineered kids. Yeah there'd be a lot to talk about there. Parent drama? Feeling like you have something to prove?? Trying to find the "you" underneath the genetic tampering??? Yeah they'd get along.

-Ok hear me out on this but. I really think Garrus and Garak would end up having a lot in common. I mean, think about it: Cardassian military/goverment/cultural structure compared to the Turians? Love of state above all else, everything is for the State (but then family above even that). And on a more personal level? Getting into a profession, a LIFE, to impress your father and then it still isn't good enough, nothing will ever be good enough, so you keep trying and going to more and more extremes to be good enough and still nothing matters. And you haven't given up on your people, no, never, but they sure have seemed to give up on you, in a way, haven't they? Exiled (Garak), ignored at every turn (Garrus), but hey, here's this one human at least that'll listen to you, and maybe even help you where others won't, so maybe things aren't all bad? Garak lies through his teeth at every turn, Garrus knows this, but he knows where to pick up the specs of truth, too.

-Jacob, bless his soul, gets roped into "babysitting" Jake and Nog. Jake distracts him by taking advantage of his chill exterior, just long enough for Nog to set off chaos halfway across the station. Cue montage of Jacob chasing the boys up and down the Promenade.
