paramount and spyglass are trying so hard right now to save face because jenna ortega rightfully left the scream franchise after they fired melissa for supprting palestine. nobody is dumb enough to believe the excuse that it’s a scheduling conflict hours after rumors she was trying to get out of her contract cause she was pissed. i’m very thankful that jenna is risking her career and using her position to do the right thing. she’s been outspoken about palestine for years now. i hope this begins a trend of zionist losing money for their support and complacency with an active genocide

April, for some reason, had chosen to meditate lying down on her mat, laying it horizontally to Ramattra's by his folded legs. It must be a human thing, he guessed after she explained it - perhaps a form of intimacy. Since he had grown so fond of his human...companion, he allowed it, and for a while his concentration remained unbroken. Both of them sat in silence, eyes closed, focusing on the gentle sounds of nature around them and the stillness of their minds.

...

A presence was suddenly felt approaching April: the hum of an omnic meditation orb slowly getting louder, its glow becoming brighter even to the human's closed eyes. Curiosity getting the upper hand, she opened them. Ramattra's meditation orb had indeed drifted closer towards her. Odd, this had never happened before when the two were together like this. She studied it for a moment, noticing that the omnic hadn't stirred. Perhaps this was some subconscious attempt at intimacy, him...reaching out to her, in a sense. Smiling, she closed her eyes once more and accepted its presence in her space.

It was unclear how long it took for Ramattra to notice that the orb was out of place. When at last he opened his eyes and realized where it had strayed, it didn't take him long to realize what it was doing - how it was responding to his thoughts. Panic rushed in, and he lunged forward to grab it, pulling it away from April himself before she could see it. His haste had the opposite effect as intended, and the human was surprised by his sudden movements. She turned slightly to look up at him inquisitively. Feigning innocence, Ramattra observed the orb as if something had gone wrong with it. "Silly thing..." he muttered before glancing at April, who was still watching him, "...Did I disturb you? --The orb, that is..."

Opting for a neutral response, she shrugged and laid back down. "Not really," she answered simply...then softly smiled once more. "Actually, I liked being so close to it."

Hey I got so inspired by the idol hcs. My fav genre is those oldies songs from the 20's/30's. Could I ask for hcs with Sam, Mistral, Sundowner and Armstrong with a s/o who is a cabaret singer (ex. Postmodern Jukebox) Thank you ♡♡♡

YESSSSS cabaret jazz my beloved 💞

Mistral: Before you she never really listened to cabaret music, but now it's one of her defining genres. She's at all of your shows, front row! She dresses to match with you and greets you after every show with kisses, making sure everyone knows you're taken by an incredibly dangerous female fatale.

Sam: Loves hearing the smooth tone of your singing voice! Definitely tries his best to go to every one of your shows, work be damned. He's the loudest one cheering for you after your shows despite the angry looks from the rest of the crowd. Jokingly asks you to sing him to sleep, but you actually can, your voice has that kind of effect on him!

Sundowner: Low-key your biggest fan! Your genre is something he already listens to in his off time, he'll definitely be playing your songs around his office. At your shows, he always sits near the back to keep an eye on the crowd, whether or not you have bodyguards already.

Armstrong: While he can’t make it to all of your shows, either due to his schedule or status, he does go as often as he can! He always shows up with flowers, and gives them to you when you meet after you’re finished performing. He finds your voice relaxing, and though cabaret isn’t exactly his first genre choice, he can’t resist your charm as you sing.
