«Whatever our souls are made out of, his and mine are the same. If all else perished, and he remained, I should still continue to be. And if all else remained, and he were annihilated, the universe would turn to a mighty stranger...»
Thump.
Just like that, his monologue finishes, and the book he had been reading is closed. Carefully, it is placed on the wooden desk where the captain had first found it. No hints that anyone had even touched it.
«Hm. Positively dramatic. But it has its own charms, I suppose». Soon enough, he grins, amused. Who would have thought Wuthering Heights was Master Jean's latest obsession?

soap x cypher masterlist / 18+ mdni / dark and twisty themes overall but this is very soft / inspired by and written for @eilidh-eternal
Tumblr media
Johnny is fuming.
You've skipped his lab. Not only have you skipped his lab, but you didn't even let him know. Where are you? He hasn’t even see you in days, getting in late from an op last night, collapsing into bed exhausted. All he wanted was to see your face this morning, peering at him from between the sea of students.
"Sir?"
"What?" He snaps, temper flaring, irritation running hot. The student, a transfer bomb tech from another unit, gulps. Get yerself together, he seethes. Ye're acting like a bloody fool. The tech voices a question, a complicated technical one, but easy to answer, and he rattles off a response before excusing everyone for the day.
He has more important things that need his attention.
He goes back and forth on punishment as he stalks over to the tech building. Overstimulation? Should he tie you to his bed and strap the head of a vibrator to your clit until you're crying? Denial? Humiliation? Should he shave your cunt, and then eat you out for hours, not letting you come once? Should he spank you until your ass is raw and you can't sit for a week?
Anger turns to worry when he steps onto your floor, and doesn't find you. You're not at your console. You're not in the bathrooms, or the break room. You're not anywhere.
He marches to Laswell's office, knocking twice before pushing the door wide, to her surprise.
"Soap?"
"Cypher not in today?" He skips the pleasantries, and she gives him a knowing look.
'She's out sick." Sick? You're sick? His mind is already scrambling, and he barely hears her parting words as he makes for the door, anger draining from his body and being replaced with worry, fear. Why didn't you tell him?
He gets his answer easily enough when you answer his incessant knocking with both wrists in braces, KT tape stretched from the back of your hands to your knuckles. Your face is twisted up, brow furrowed, and he immediately steps forward, hesitant to touch you, but yearning to provide you comfort, to help. To fix.
“Oh, Cy.” He murmurs and you look down to your feet.
“‘m sorry I missed class, I couldn’t… I can’t type, or pick anything up, so-“
“It’s okay. Let’s not worry about that now.” He herds you gently, turning you back into your room, relaxing as he feels you lean into him, one of his hands cradling yours carefully. “Carpal tunnel?” He knows all about it, of course. He has your medical file memorized. Knows about the flare ups that are really bad, knows you’re a perfect candidate for surgery, even though from the looks of it, you’re avoiding that option. He always thought he’d cross that bridge when he came to it, getting you to have the procedures scheduled, but it seems like that bridge is coming up now.
“It’s bad.” You croak. You can’t even work the door handle, trying in vain to flex your fingers, his heart sinking at the agony on your face, when you start to crumple, tears starting in the corners of your eyes.
“Shhh, I’m here, I’m here, wee sweet.” His arms wrap around you, holding you there for a second, rubbing your back, your shoulders, trying to reassure you. “I’ll take care of ye.” He promises, shutting the door with a firm click, and leading you over to your bed, encouraging you to sit, keeping his touch as gentle as he can, as to not jostle you or your hands. “What do ye need?” He smooths a hand over your hair, and you sigh.
“Something to eat.” Oh, sweet Cy. How long have ye felt like this? This is his fault. He should have been here last night. “And some ice, maybe?”
“Have ye taken anything?” He’s already pulling out his phone, shooting a text out to cash in on a favor owed to him by another Sergeant, essentially using them as a delivery service for your needs. “What sounds good to eat?”
“I don’t know, I can’t pick up-“
“I’ll take care of that.” He’s unmoored by your suffering, but a select piece of him is secretly delighted he’ll get to feed you, wash your hair, help you with your clothes, take care of all your needs. His mouth practically waters. You chew on your lip, wincing as you shift and he moves with you, encouraging you to lay down your back, tired eyes blinking up at the ceiling. Poor baby, probably hasnae sleep a wink. “I’ll pick for ye, Cy.”
“Okay.” You whisper, eyes slipping closed. He leans, lips dotting across your forehead.
“I’ve got ye. Want the lights off?” You nod, and he gets up to flick them off, clicking on the little bedside lamp that has the yellow shade, the dim one that you like “Whit feels good for yer hands? Ice? Elevation?”
“Both.” He tacks ice onto the ‘to be delivered list’ and then grabs a pillow, tucking it into your side to place your one wrist on top, arranging your giant quilt on the other to do the same.
He fusses over you, making sure you’re comfortable, making sure you’re content, propping you up on more pillows when everything is dropped at your door, and he stashes the ice in the freezer for after he feeds you.
“Got some soup.” He tells you sweetly, and you brighten a little.
“What kind?”
“Yer favorite. The cream of mushroom.” You smile at him and he holds you there, indulging in your sweet expression, until it starts to fade, drooping with realization. Confusion.
“Wait… how do you know it’s my favorite?”

Little Shit
Alastor x GN! Reader
Tumblr media
A/N: A little something while I work on requests! And Since y’all loved the silly little domestic imagine, here is another! PURELY PLATONIC. Alastor does refer to you as “Little Mouse”
TW:NONE-
Now Alastor loves you (as much as psychopathic cannibalistic serial killer can) but he’s also a little shit. He’s just a silly little creature!
If you trust him (first mistake) enough or you're on really really good terms with him and decide to tell him your deepest darkest fear (second mistake) oh boy, have fun. Now obviously he’s gonna fucking torture you, he gets a good laugh out of it but if it’s actually like causing you to freak out or physically hurt yourself. He’ll chill out big time. But he will still sometimes scare you. He’s sadistic. You signed up for this.
Like- you have a fear of heights? He’s picking your ass up and putting you on the highest part of the hotel. Don’t worry, he’ll catch you if you fall :). But if you scream at him enough he’ll begrudgingly get you down and bring you to your favorite store/ ice cream shop as an apology! You don’t have to accept the apology because he honestly doesn’t care but he’ll actually apologize to you with a side hug and all!
He also likes to watch you all the time, he has a staring problem AND he’s trying to understand what makes you tick the most. Don’t forget the constant tapping you with his cane, he will do it. Don’t try to threaten him, it makes him do it more. He’s an annoying little brat. You could be talking with a random guest or Charlie and he’ll pop up behind you to tap you on the head with his cane and turn away like he didn’t just do it.
Say you have a crush on someone and tell Alastor, he’ll make it his mission to try and embarrass your ass. Just, “Did you know, my little mouse here, takes a bath with rubber duckies.”  (you do not. He’s pulling shit out of his ass by now). Don’t be afraid to snatch him by his ear and chew him out! You’re the only one who can do this! He’ll do it back so be wise on how hard you tug his poor ear.
Oh boy, if you have a crush on someone in the hotel or even Lucifer. He’s ramping it up and will not stop until you’re red faced and hitting his chest. If you have a crush on Lucifer, he’s lecturing you. No ifs ands or buts, he’s pulling that card. “You can not be serious, Little Mouse. The short one? Look at how well he’s run things-”
He will pull pranks on you, small things that you won’t look twice at until it happens. Like tuning your alarms to 3am instead of the normal time you wake up. Moving something an inch from where it was so you either trip or stub your toe. Or maybe put salt into your coffee instead of sugar. Who knows. He does.
Once again, he will wrestle and play with you (NOT LIKE THAT YA NASTIES) and he will not be gentle unless you tell him to be. You will end up with bumps, bruises, bites and somehow a cut on your arm. He will also trip you himself so he can catch you, nothing romantic like. I mean he will snag you by the back of your shirt before you're an inch from the ground. Don’t try, he'll evade your attempts.
Will make your food really really spicy and then hide all the milk and ice cream until you beg him. You’re in tears and drooling about to drink all the creamer in the fridge before a gallon of milk appears in front of you as Alastor goes back to serving everyone else NORMAL food.
A/N: Older sibling vibes. Don't let him fool you, he was destined to be an older sibling.

König Headcanons
Tumblr media
Warnings: Implications/mentions of smut, mention of pegging, König is a sub/bottom, FLUFF, implications/mentions of masturbation, no pronouns used for reader except for 'you'.
This man is W H I P P E D for you.
Regardless of whether he met you in a civilian setting or on the battlefield, you have captured his interest immediately.
And every time König sees you, hears you, his mental image of you grows, his daydreams become more vivid.
Over the course of a month, König’s light daydreams, wonderments of the type of person you were, what you’d be like as friends, became more frequent.
And, as a romantic at heart, the daydreams became gradually…well, romantic.
König didn’t mean to! The slip into an alternate universe wherein you and him lived happily together, holding hands, sharing secrets, laying close together felt natural and easy.
He was ashamed of himself, to say the least.
He felt awful that he’d even dared think of such quite frankly wholesome scenarios about the two of you without you ever having even met him.
Though, König had to admit that the more loving his daydreams because, the more he felt satiated.
After all, the life of a soldier in his position was a lonely one, especially considering he could tell practically no-one about it.
As the weeks trundled on, König tried putting you out of his mind. Tried focusing on hobbies instead.
He’s a big fan of crochet.
It calms him down.
Though, he struggles sometimes due to his anxiety making his hands shake.
He's also a big fan of literature, particularly 19th century romantic.
His favourite book is definitely Pride and Prejudice.
But alas, even his hobbies fell just short of fulfilling him.
And, luckily, he didn’t have to suffer for much longer.
Your meeting was purely accidental.
König had dropped his almost withered, well-loved copy of Pride and Prejudice and you, appearing out of nowhere, picked it up for him.
“Here, sweetie,” you said, passing it to him.
König’s heart dropped into his stomach.
His face blew up into flames yet his body felt as if it were encased in ice, frozen and stiff.
He could scarcely hold his book in his hands, shaking.
“Th-th-“
Speak, you fool!
You smiled up at him, your tone as sweet as your face.
“Hey, are you okay?” You tilted your head, body contorted in an air of concern König had never experienced first-hand before.
He’d seen it in romance movies and novels, but never this close and never in real life.
Don’t get ahead of yourself; say something, god damn you!
“Th-ank you!”
Nailed it!
You kept smiling. König’s heart skipped a beat.
And thus König’s liking-from-afar grew into a night full-blown obsession.
You had quite a lot in common!
Your love of books, appreciation of art - things of that nature.
After your initial encounter and your bonding over the book he dropped, you gave him your number.
Given that you didn’t have König’s number, he had to make the first move and call you.
He sat by his phone, shaking, poised over the ‘Call’ button with your number typed in.
After much deliberation and thorough consideration of every conceivable way he could get rejected by you, he clicked ‘Call’.
The phone rang.
Once. Twice. Thrice-
“Hello?”
König’s heart skipped at the sound of your voice.
“H-hey,” he said, voice thin and wavering. Watery.
You chuckled on your end of the line. “Hey, sweetie. Thought you weren’t going to call me for a hot minute!”
Never, König wanted to say. Oh, all the things he wanted to say.
His daydreams could not compare to the anxious joy he was experiencing in this moment.
And every moment together you shared after.
The two of you began to hang around together, more and more frequently as the months progressed.
And all the while, König could feel his heart swell with nothing short of euphoria whenever you were near.
He watched you more than he read his book whenever you got together for library visits.
He studied you as a writer would literature, committing your every quirk and preference to memory.
On days when you weren’t together, König would spend every spare waking moment thinking of you, fantasising about you.
His daydreams grew more and more vivid, almost seeming to bleed into his real life.
And König absolutely believed he was hallucinating one day when you asked him out on a date.
He couldn’t say no. Every fibre of his being urged him, screamed “Yes!”
König had never been more anxious in his life.
He was terrified he’d mess the date up, arrive in the wrong attire, say the wrong thing (or nothing at all).
But when he arrived and saw you, saw how wonderful you were with him, holding his hands in yours as you recounted stories, how you looked him in the eyes whenever he spoke, his anxiety just seemed to melt away.
Though you may not have known it yet, König loved you.
He’d fallen for you long before, yet he never expected you to feel for him even a fraction of that which he felt for you.
Your relationship began not long after.
He worships you.
Can’t stand to be without you.
And when he returns from his post and you’re together.
Oh boy.
He’s nervous to ask at first at if you’d like to do the deed.
Would try and transition into it.
Do the classic yawning-arm-around-the-shoulder trick.
You clocked what he was doing, and, wanting to spare him the torture, cut straight to the chase.
“König, are you too shy to say you want to sleep with me, or are you just a terrible, unintentional flirt?”
König froze. His kind went blank.
Long story short, you ended up sleeping together.
And König had never known anything like it.
Man has absolutely zero rizz, zero experience.
He was quite insecure about that, but you made it difficult for him to think about anything else when you got started.
König loves being topped, btw.
Likes feeling vulnerable when you peg him.
Definitely cries because you make him feel so good.
Your pleasure is his top priority, though.
He's absolutely massive so it's not difficult for him to fill you.
You can see the outline of his cock when he's inside you.
And if you poke him or clench while he's buried, oh my god-
This man's a moaner. No arguments.
König could hardly see by the end of the experience, convinced he could see smells and taste colours.
And there you were, beside him, panting, smiling.
And it only confirmed what König already knew.
He wanted to be nowhere else but with you.
After that, he’s basically horny 24/7, brought in solely by the thought of you.
Nothing else can get him off (not that he’s tried; he’s too loyal for that; more on this later ;-) ).
You share and partake in hobbies together.
König teaches you how to crochet. Or, if you already know how to, he’ll just crochet beside you.
Makes you things 🥺.
You try and help him with his brain freezes whenever in a social situation by getting him to read his favourite literature to you out loud whenever you're at his apartment.
You make it bearable to just be in public, reassuring him or speaking on his behalf when he’s overwhelmed.
He loves holding hands.
Lives for your soft touches.
Forehead kisses send him absolutely silly.
He goes feral whenever you rake your fingers through his hair.
Will start muttering in German, probably moans too tbh.
Loves laying his head in your lap/on your chest.
Is fully aware of how large he is, though. So he tries to hold back some of his weight so he doesn’t crush you.
You tell him to relax, that he doesn’t need to withhold anything from you.
And that’s why he loves you,
You love him for him for who he is.
You’ve never teased him for his height, or his stutter when he’s nervous, or his social anxiety.
He tells you how much he loves you daily.
“I can’t live without you, maus,” he’d say while you played with his hair.
“And I you,” you’d say, pressing a kiss to his temple.
Power couple.
König uses his sheer mass to protect you from people who even look as if they want to hurt you.
He may be socially anxious, but he has absolutely no qualms about killing someone for you.
Considering that death is part of his job description, he’s accustomed to it. Kind of enjoys it, to be honest.
It would take a while for him to come clean about his occupation, afraid he’d scare you off.
He loves and trusts you, but he doesn't want to lose you.
He ended up admitting his occupation to you after he’d been called back into action.
Knowing he couldn’t just up and leave without telling you where he was going, he confessed.
You didn’t even blink an eye.
“Alright, cool. Now, do you want pie or curry for dinner?”
Whenever he’s away, he’s always thinking about you.
Calls you whenever he gets the chance.
Thinks of you in...compromising ways when you’re apart for long periods of time.
The first time he did so, he ended up admitting it because he felt so guilty.
You just laughed on your end of the call, a delightful habit of yours.
“Don’t worry,” you reassured. “I do the same.”
He spent a lot more time in his room after that.
The thought of you keeps him going, gives him a reason to live rather than survive.
Whenever he's in a tight situation, he imagines you there with him, telling him everything will be fine.
Btw, please validate him.
Call him a good boy, tell him you're the love if his life - anything.
Makes him feel like his efforts are being rewarded.
König can’t imagine his life without you.
He loves you, you love him.
And he’ll do anything to keep you.
Please reblog for more content like this! It helps creators like myself out tremendously :-)

Hey hey folks! yes yes i know what you're thinking.
'But Gliphy! it's only been a few days since your last post! Is the world ending?'
And I agree! Buuuut I decided to throw something out there, a change of pace so to speak!
I present: TTAU Side stories! Or Side Stories in general.
The chain are still my main cast for stories. Most things will be written around them.
But, due to certain inquiries, a few characters were requested to be written~ Will that automatically mean I'll start posting a barrage of stuff for the side stories? Eh, probably only when inspiration hits me.
But I decided to have fun with dropping in characters from time to time.
For now, it's gonna be one character that a few people has asked for.
Will I do them justice? Dunno! I'll leave that to you lovely folk~
Anywho~

The stench of blood was very potent here, enough to make his nose crinkle the moment he stepped into the area.
The soldier guiding Link gave his report as he led him through the mountain pass.
"This is the place." He said, gesturing to the entrance of an easily overlooked cave, his helmet tilted back to show his face. "We managed to lead him through here. Once he went through, the others distracted him while I sealed off the opening as best as I could."
The soldier stopped before the cave opening leading inside. There were crates and broken carriages turned on their side blocking the entrance.
Link eyed everything. "Impressive for one man. Though if what you said was true, blocking the path like this wouldn't have slowed him down."
The soldier sighed. "He seemed too focused attacking the nearest soldiers, I did what I could to escape and seal it off."
Warriors' eyes narrowed but said nothing of the soldier's careless admission.
"Very well, you and I will enter to confront him." Link folded his arms over his chest and gave the soldier a look when he opened his mouth.
"In the event that a battle occurs, I'll need you to be near so you can bring a detailed report back to base." The soldier thought it over and nodded.
  "...Right then."
Without further ado, Link and the Soldier pushed as much of the crates out of the way and made their way in.
The cave was dark, darkening further since dusk approached. Even after stepping several feet inside there wasn't much light, it took a several minutes for his eyes to adjust.
They made their way carefully down the narrow tunnel.
...Warriors was uncertain about this situation.
While his memories of his past battles were convenient, he would be a fool to believe them to be absolute.
War was ever changing, no battle was fought with the exact method or gained the same result twice.
But this...he definitely would have recalled a situation like this. This was a new turn of events and he had to keep his wits about him.
After making it about twenty minutes in, a sudden loud bang echoed down the corridor. "I know you're there!" A male voice bellowed. The voice sounded angered. deranged.
"That's him sir!" The soldier whispered to him.
The Soldier and Link both stood still, not wanting to give away their position.
"Come out! Come out and tell me where she is!" The male's voice cracked, as if he had been screaming for some time. His breathing was loud, sped up.
His voice...frantic...angered.
With his weapon drawn, both soldiers cautiously crept to the end of the cave passage where faint light poured from a hidden opening off to the side.
An open space, the light coming from burning crates off to the side, otherwise empty, save for the scattered corpses of soldiers throughout the space.
From the state they appeared in, they had been hit a large blunt object.
There was blood everywhere.
It was splattered from the ceiling and walls onto the floor, pooled beneath the bodies of soldiers whose faces were crushed flat within their helmets.
"Goddess above." the soldier breathed, his hand clutching at his weapon tightly in terror.
Link looked on dispassionately. "I have never seen such madness." he murmured, his voice devoid of emotion.
A flash of purple caught the corner of his eye as he scanned the room.
He made his way towards it, ignoring the soldier's hushed protests.
When he got closer, his eyes widened and he froze. Blue eyes lined with gold stared back at him. Reaching down, he grabbed it brought it close.
He recognized it despite it's ragged appearance. Only one person dressed in such a fashion.
Suddenly the sound of something heavy being dragged across the floor caught his ear.  Then there was a low groan of pain before it grew into a scream of anger.
The soldier looked at Link, anxiety written clear on his face as he raised his sword but Warriors, dropped the item and shook his head.
They slowly moved into the open area, eyes and ears peeled for any signs of movement.
As they advanced, the noises grew. Heavy footfall and heavy breathing.
An occasional whimper or whine as things were dragged around.  The sounds came more and more frequently until, finally, a single figure came into view, slowly stumbling forward.
His hair was disheveled. Green eyes wild. Blood seeping from wounds hidden behind purple robes, dripping onto the ground.
Robes soaked in blood that was both his and not his. A large bloodied hammer being dragged behind him. His missing hood left his face uncovered.
The Hero of Warriors felt his heart jumped.
The face that stared back at him was one he knew.
But how?
It didn't make sense. What could possibly bring about this scenario? Why the hell was Ravio here of all places, alone?
He shouldn't be here, he was supposed to have joined up with them several missions prior.
(But Time had taken a different path as well...)
"Where..." came the raspy whisper.
"Where...Where is she?" His eyes were frantic and desperate, darting around.
Not once had he looked at Warriors, as if he hadn't been there at all. He looked right at the soldier, his eyes piercing into the soldier's.
"Tell me where...is she..." He growled louder, stepping closer even as the soldier took several steps back.
He looked around frantically, trying to find something in the darkness, find someone.
But why? Who was he looking for...
 (...Could he...)
"I told you, I don't know what you're talking about!" The soldier shouted, his voice shaking as he pointed his sword at the unhinged man.
"LIAR!" He roared, storming closer, hammer being raised with one arm.
"You killed my comrades!"
"You all took her from me! Took me from her!" His voice raged, his path to the soldier blocked as Warriors stepped in front of him.
His eyes settled on Warriors, and his gaze became fixated upon him.
Suddenly Ravio let out a loud scream, and without a moment's notice, he swung the hammer at him.
Instinctively, Warrior raised his blade and blocked it as best as he could, even as his arms shook from the force of the attack.
"Tell me what's wrong!" Warriors cried, desperately trying to hold the sword steady as the merchant pressed his hammer against his sword.
Ravio was screaming.
"It's all wrong! IT'S ALL WRONG!!" He was screaming and fighting against Warriors, but it was useless. "I'm not supposed to be HERE! You took her!! She was supposed to be SAFE!"
Warriors' ears picked up movement behind him and he shoved Ravio away just as the soldier swung his sword at the unstable man.
"Who are you talking about?" The soldier snapped as he was pulled back by Warriors while he put distance between them and Ravio.
"She was supposed to be with safe! I'm not suppose to be here!" Ravio cried out, as if he hadn't heard what was being asked at him.
"I was there! I was waiting for her at the house! I SHOULDN'T BE HERE!" Dropping the hammer, Ravio grabbed the side of his head with both hands, shaking his head violently.
"(y/n)..." He groaned in pain, eyes squeezing shut.
Warriors felt like he had been dumped in cold water.
"What did you say..?" He whispered.
Ravio's head shot up, a wild look on his face that Warriors couldn't quite recognize.
He...remembered?
---
---
She was brave...
That's what Ravio's first thought of her was, when Mr. Hero explained her situation to him.
A world without magic. A world nothing like theirs.
At least there was a way for him to return to Lorule. But for her...?
But she didn't let that get her down. In her eyes, if there was a way to land in Hyrule, there must be a chance to return home.
He liked that about her, liked her more when he got to properly know her.
 Her bravery, her determination.
The determination to keep going even when she had no clue how to go about things.
But that determination to return home didn't stop her curiosity.
Ravio wouldn't deny how pleased he felt when she asked detailed questions about his items. Even more so when it turned into a conversation about Lorule.
Which became a routine whenever the group came by.
The culture, the history, the economy, there was always something new she wanted to ask him about his homeland.
He was a bit embarrassed to say he didn't know too much about most things she asked at first. But she never made him feel dumb about it.
Instead, she listened attentively as he tried to explain the differences between Hyrule and Lorule. Happily speaking of her world, describing the vast differences between here and there.
They would chat about those differences for hours on end. Which turned to a talk about the people back home, which would lead to a talk about each other's hobbies and opinions on things.
Anything they both wanted to talk about really.
It was only when Link interrupted them to announce dinner or something else that Ravio would realize how much time had passed.
All those questions that made him smile brightly, and it always made her laugh. Her laugh was wonderful and her smile was bright and contagious.
It made him crave to have the answers to the questions he couldn't give her. He'd return to Lorule just to gather books on those topics and study them.
He dared to say he knew more about his own home's history and of Hyrule's thanks to her curiosity.
When she returned, he was eager to show her what he managed to find.
Though he knew she wouldn't understand everything he said, it was simply a matter of her asking enough questions to make sense of it
Her enthusiasm was contagious when she spoke, especially since she never seemed disappointed or confused.
Sometimes he wondered whether that trait wasn't what attracted him to her at first.
He hadn't realized it at the time, but (Y/n)'s arrival had changed things. Everything about Ravio had changed. Every aspect of his life seemed to shift the longer he got to know her.
And it seemed he wasn't the only one who felt the same.
Watching the way Link and his companions began to behave around her.
Their gazes turning softer, smiles forming on their lips when she approached. They would sit closer to her whenever they had a chance and listen attentively to every story and ramble she shared.
How they each wanted to spend time with her. How the group seemed so much alive with her there.
How they felt like they needed to protect her because she was important to them.
How happy he saw them being when with her.
Not that he didn't understand. Being with her made him forget about everything that troubled him.
Everything simply felt better when with her.
He wasn't some strange fellow who people looked at oddly. He wasn't a coward that many people would mock.
He was simply Ravio to her.
...He liked being simply Ravio.
And being simply Ravio meant he was more perceptive than most others. (How else had he seen through Yuga's shoddy acting when he was manipulating Hilda.)
So it was almost immediate that he noticed the way the others became...attached to her.
How they started to focus more attention to her whenever she entered the room. How they began to follow her wherever she went. Even when she wished for a moment of solitude.
How they seemed to care for her a lot more now than before.
And while it was true that they were still worried over her safety but that wasn't exactly uncommon for them either.
But the way they treated her...
They were becoming...possessive.  And protective. It was almost frightening actually.
Especially when they acted that way towards one another, especially around (Y/n).
How they glared at one another with venom one moment, only to look at her with absolute adoration the next.
How they looked at her as if she were the sun itself.
As if she were the entire world itself.
...Not that he blamed them. (Could he blame them?)
She was simply...perfect.
Not to say she was a flawless person that never made a mistake. No no.
But that's what made her perfect, she was human. She was herself.
She was real and real was beautiful.
He adored the times when Link would ask him to be her company, when they had business she couldn't join them in. (Business that had them strictly tell him what areas to not take her to, business that had them returning with a faint scent of blood.)
He spoke to her, let her speak whatever was on her mind. He joined her whenever she wanted to head to town or wander the area.
And with some made up excuses and a promise that she wouldn't go to certain places and to return at a certain time, he even let her wander off on her own.
He had been nervous about doing so. Because (he didn't what to consider the possibility that she would walk into danger if he wasn't there.) Link had told him to always be by her side.
But how could he listen to him when she would ask him with a nervous smile how she wanted some time to herself.
...She shouldn't smile like that. It should be happier, more carefree.
He could listen to Link about many things. (He had done so much for him and his homeland, it was the least he could do.)
But...what was the harm of letting her have a moment to herself? (Even if it felt like he was being torn to two whenever she had to leave.)
Yet when he gave her his conditions and told her he'd keep quiet...
That strained, nervous smile would relax into one more fitting. One full of joy and excitement.
He'd watch her wave at him as she wandered off, Sheerow fluttering around him.
Her journal under her arm and a bounce in her step. Only returning to the house when she vanished from his sight.
He'd spent the whole time she was gone debating what excuse or lie he would have to give to Link.
But she returned, always. With that beautiful wide smile, the tension gone from her shoulders.
His heart was melting and he wasn't sure how long it take for him to recover from such a beautiful sight. But he never wanted his heart to recover. (Not when it was caused by her.)
It was love. That's what he, what the heroes, felt.
What other emotion would make him feel as if his heart was filled with an endless warmth. As if his chest was going to explode with affection, with happiness, with love?
He loved (Y/n), and he knew everyone else did, too.
He didn't think his heart could beat this much when he thought of her. Not this fast, not this violently.
It almost hurt. It was almost too much.
But it was never enough. He wanted more.
When she smiled at him, his heart was ready to burst. When she held him, he wanted to wrap his arms around her and never let her pull away. Never wanted to feel that cruel coldness that always came when she let go.
When she wrapped a loose arm over his shoulders when they sat together, when she drifted off to sleep and slumped against him.
When her eyes brightened when she saw him when she and the others next returned to the area.
It was him that made her have that look. Not the others, certainly not Link. (Perhaps not for a long while.)
He wanted to keep being the reason that she was happy and relaxed. (LookAtHimLookAtHimLookAtHim)
Ravio hated when she left, the world felt quieter, colors more muted.
But he waited patiently, because each parting meant she would return soon enough.
She always seemed tired when she returned, but Ravio tried his best to offer her a quiet space for herself. Her expression of gratitude made going behind Link's back all the more worth it.
Each parting meant a return.
When he last waved her goodbye. She seemed more quiet. She still looked at him warmly. Yet much more tired. Even as the others seemed oblivious to it.
But Ravio saw.
It lingered within his mind some time after. But he tried to argue with himself over what could have happened.
When he could think of nothing, he decided that the best course of action was to ask her in person. He wanted to help her, he wanted to ease her burdens, even a little.
So he waited for her return. Waited so he could ask her what he needed to do in order to take the weight that had been pressing down on her.
Waited so she could finally let herself have that moment of peace that had been so long coming.
...
.....
But she never came back....
No one did.
He waited and waited, waiting for her to return. Waiting for him to see the light in her eyes again.
He wanted to see her smile again. To hear that musical laugh.
Yet he waited. He waited as long as he could for her to come back but...she never did.
One month became two.
And neither she, nor Link and his companions returned.
'They...They're just delayed.' He rationalized in his head. From what Mr. Hero explained, they didn't get to choose where they went. So obviously they must have found a trail and went after that shadow.
Yes...it..it was a delay...they'll...she'll return...
Two months became three.
But no one came.
'What happened?' Ravio paced in the house, wringing his hands.
 'Where did she go?'
He received no answer.
He got no response.
Only silence.
Silence that drove Ravio mad. A silence that only brought more questions.
Questions he could find no answers for.
(Why did they not return? Why were they delaying? What could possibly have happened?)
The silence was deafening and he loathed it.
"I...I just have to wait..." He whispered to himself, biting the tip of his thumb.
"I mustn't leave. She could return any day now."  He shook his head, forcing his legs to start moving once more.
(He ignored the nagging feeling in his stomach that told him something horrible happened.)
He forced himself to stay still for a few moments. Breathing slowly. Slowly and deeply. Just...just until she returns. Just until she returns.
Just until she arrives, safe and sound, with a smile on her face and her eyes shining brightly like they had once before.
But the third month eventually led to four.
What happened? Why haven't they returned?
Had it been enemy? Had they've become trapped somewhere?
Had the heroes done something to her..?
Ravio's breathed hitched at the thought.
Why...why would he think that? He's seen how they act around her. Treating her like she created the stars in the sky.
They would never, never, do something that would lead harm to her.
(...But she's been so stressed lately.)
No. They wouldn't. They wouldn't do something like that. He knew that.
The heroes would never do something that could cause trouble between them and (y/n). They'd kill themselves before doing something that would harm her.
(But why did she only feel relaxed when away from them?)
He sighed, running a shaky hand through his hair, trying to calm the worry that plagued him.
They would be fine. (She'll be fine.)
He just has to believe that. They have to be fine.
'If anything happens, she knows she can always send a letter to me...right?.'  he thought, had he ever told her that? Had he ever told her that even when traveling, she could always reach out to him?
Tears springing in his eyes as he buried his head in his palms.
What could have happened, what kept her away?
It wasn't his fault. He would never wish to cause her harm. He wanted her happy. (But he wasn't there with her all the time. The others though...)
The others...if they...if...he clenched his hands, taking deep breaths to keep himself from falling apart.
They...they wouldn't hurt her.
They may have become possessive, may have monitored her whereabouts...but they were...simply watching out for her...
...
...Right?
(But what if they crossed the line?)
A shudder ran through his body, his breathing becoming uneven again, panic starting to grip him. He squeezed his eyes shut, trying to stop his thoughts from spiraling out of control.
No...there was no way they could hurt her. (They knew better than that.)
But...what (did they do) happened...
There was no way they wouldn't be connected to it.
What...(did they do) happened?
(It's going to alright. Any day now. Any day.)
Four led into five.
What (did they do) happened?
And on the sixth month, he's unable to bear the quiet anymore.
He sits at the table, head in his hands. He long since closed up the shop. Unable to think.
Sheerow resting on his shoulder, trying to comfort him even if the little bird knew it was useless.
He needs to know why. Where is she? Is she alright? Who took her? How did they get her?
The questions ate at his heart and tore open everything he thought he had been keeping locked away.
What did they do?
Where were they? Where was she?
(What did they do? It's all wrong.)
"What did they do..." He said to himself, voice breaking. "Where...where are they?"
There was no door opening behind him.
No one to come and greet him, to apologize for taking so long.
No warm smile that would have easily soothed away the pain that had settled in his heart, placed months ago.
He doesn't notice the tears that began dripping silently onto the table.
No one was coming. But he didn't want to leave and be proven wrong.
So he stayed there, staring at the table, letting the pain overtake him. Tears streaming from his eyes and the fear and pain in his heart only growing.
His knuckles turned white as he gripped his hair tightly, staring blankly at nothing.
Everything was hurting him but he just wanted them to come back.
His heart was hurting him but all he wanted was for her to come back.
What did they do....
What did they do to her. (He wanted to find her but he had to stay. He had to be ready for her return.)
What did they do. (He wanted to go but he had to wait for her to return.)
What did they do. (He had to wait for her to return.)
He couldn't leave. (He had to wait.)
(He couldn't leave. He had to wait.)
(He couldn't leave.)
And all the while, his world was crumbling apart.
What did they do...
---
---
His eyes were greeted to open skies and the sounds of battle.
..He was nowhere near where he should be.
(He shouldn't be here. She could be back and she would think he forgot about her)
He was in a daze as he walked. He didn't know how long he did.
(Why was it so hard to breathe? Why did his heart heart so much? What was happening? He shouldn't be here.)
He stumbled and hit the ground hard, shaking.
"Hey! You shouldn't be here!" He heard footsteps approach. Several.
"A civilian? Here?" "Where did he come from?"
".. need to go home.." He whispered. "I... shouldn't be here."
"Well you're right about that." One said as he stood before him, Ravio could see his boots.
Slowly, he looked up at the soldier who stared down at him.
"You seem lost little man." The soldier said, a mockingly kind smile on his lips.
"Maybe you should come with us to make sure we don't bring you any more danger."
Before he could reply another spoke up. "He's weird. Look at the state of him."
"Probably is sick." Another said. "In the head I mean"
Laughter rang out among their group.
The words didn't register in Ravio's brain and he blinked, looking at the other men who surrounded him. His mind felt fuzzy and confused, he could barely hear the words that fell from their mouths.
"you think we should-"
" don't wanna escort this guy-"
"-we don'-"
"Where...is she..." he asked quietly, trembling. (He shouldn't be here. He shouldn't be here. He shouldn't be here.)
"Where is...she..?" The soldiers looked at eachother, then at him.
The one in front of him, their leader, chuckled.
"Aw, missing someone?" The soldier asked sarcastically.
(How could they joke about this. About her. She could be in danger.)
Ravio swallowed hard, the lump forming in his throat making it harder to breathe.
The man crouched down, smirking.
"You know we could help you find her." He offered. "For a price."
The group chortled.
"Where is she..." He repeated, his voice crackling. "Where..is she?"
He choked as he spoke.
The soldier leaned closer, staring straight into Ravio's brown eyes with an expression Ravio couldn't quite place. "You know, maybe this place has a bunch of dangerous monsters ." The man purred, a sinister glint in his eyes.
(Monsters? no no, she shouldn't be near monsters. She could get hurt...she could get hurt.)
"Who knows? Maybe she ran off, maybe she got cornered." Ravio let out a low whine at his comment, which made the group laugh again.
"That or she's dead."
'No. No.' He didn't want her dead. She had to be safe. She couldn't be dead. "No. Please, please...No." He whimpered.
The soldiers kept laughing. "Ohh. So sad. You must miss her, don't you?" He cooed.
"Please, don't say that-"
"Sorry. but that's war for you.." Their leader said. "There are a lot of casualties. She isn't special."
Ravio's breathing quickened, his body trembling violently.
(Her gone. Dead. Gone. Gone. She's not coming back.)
"What are we going to do with him..." Another soldier asked. "We have to finish patrols."
(She can't be gone. She can't. She can't be. She had to be safe.)
Their leader shrugged as he stood up.
"Where is she?" he repeated, hand reaching out to the soldier, only for him to kick it away, but Ravio didn't care about that. "Where is she?"
"Leave him. Seems deranged. Not our business." They continued walking past him, leaving Ravio in the dust.
(She's not gone. she's not. She's not.)
Ravio stood up, his breath quickening.
"Where is she.." He kept asking, His eyes widened, tears welling once again.
(Please...please, don't tell me she's gone.)
"already told you. Probably dead. Just accept it." Another soldier replied, walking past him to follow his friend. (Please...please.)
He gripped his head, shaking it.
(Nonononononononononono)
(She's not gone.)
He didn't feel himself letting go of his head. Didn't feel himself reach into his expandable pouch, the one he always carried because she told him it was always good to be ready for any situation.
Feel as he pulled out a weapon and turn to face the walking group.
(She's not deadShe's not deadThey know where she isThey are hiding herThey are trying to hurt her.)
He felt something inside him snap and suddenly, he shot out like a bullet towards the group.
The group hadn't realized what was happening, not until he was upon them, not until he grabbed the shoulder of the one who spoke to him and forced him to face him.
(What did you do.)
"Where is she." He rasped out. raising the hammer over his head with one arm.
"Where is she."
And He swung right at the soldier's head.
---
---
...What did you do Hero?
---
---
"What. Did. You. Do..." Ravio rasped out at Warriors. Frowning, staring right at the pale faced hero.
"You...remember...?" Warriors breathed.
(How was this possible? How could he remember? The probability of his sword brothers remembering was high, but the merchant?)
"Where is she?" Ravio took a step forward, never once taking his eyes off Warriors.
Warriors simply stared back, unable to properly register this situation.
"Where is she...? What did you do? Tell me, Hero. What did you do to her?!" Ravio demanded, slowly reaching down and grabbing the hammer's handle.
"..I-"
"Sir!" The soldier tried to step forward as Ravio grabbed his weapon but Warriors kept his arm up.
"You..." Ravio's voice trembled, "You were all supposed to come back. She was supposed to come back."
Warriors was quiet, trembling.
"I waited. But no one came." The Lorule merchant's lips twitched into a crooked smile.
"No one CAME! No one! Not you! Not her!" He laughed  hysterically, pointing a trembling finger towards Warriors, "You were supposed to come back! You were supposed to keep her safe and happy!"
He let out a scream. His entire body shaking.
"Why didn't you come? You should have come back! I shouldn't be here!" He screamed.
"Ravio-" "Where is she!?" Warriors could only shake his head slowly at him.
"We...we-"
"WHERE IS SHE?!" He screamed louder.
"Ravio, please-"
"You promised!! You all promised to keep her safe! And you FAILED!!" Ravio screamed, he grabbed his hammer with both hands and he lunged towards Warriors.
"Get back!" Warriors shouted at the soldier behind him, dodging out to the way by jumping to the side.
"WHERE IS SHE!" He yelled, his head followed Warriors even as the hammer hit the ground, the impact breaking the surface swiftly.
"Please, listen to me!" Warriors shouted.
"I'M NOT SUPPOSED TO BE HERE!!"
Warriors continued to dodge as the hammer flew straight towards him. The force of the hammer hitting the wall where his head has been was felt even without touching it. A few stone shards flying across flying and onto the floor.
"Where is she? WHAT DID YOU DO!?"
Another slam. Another broken surface.
"Please! You have to listen to me!" Warrior pleaded looking back towards the other man.
"Sir this man is clearly insane-" The soldier was cut off by another slam, and another crack.
"Ravio, please." Warriors begged.
"SHE WAS SUPPOSED TO BE SAFE!!!" Ravio screamed. He continued to attack Warriors.
"I'm sorry." Was all Warriors could say.
Ravio sobbed, "I waited and waited." Ravio whispered, "But no one came."
"Ravio..."
"She could be back, and I'm HERE!" He screamed.
"She isn't..." Was all he could say to the merchant.
"I waited," Ravio cried, "She could have been in danger while I waited. I have to get rid of any danger. I have to find her."
"So you choose to kill our comrades?!" The soldier exclaimed, clamping his mouth shut as Warriors gave him a sharp look.
Ravio shook his head wildly again, groaning in pain.
"I have to get rid of the danger. I have to. She's not safe here."
"The soldiers...were a danger..." Warriors said, his words calm.
"Traitors..." Ravio groaned, "So many, I have to get rid of them. I have to kill them. She wouldn't be safe here. She doesn't KNOW."
"She's not here. But this place is not a threat anymore." Warrior stated, "You got rid of the enemies."
"Sir! You can't just-" Warriors gave the foolish soldier such a fierce glare, the man stumbled back.
Turning back to Ravio. He continued to speak calmly.
"You did well to get rid of the traitors," He continued, "Less enemies to harm her."
"I waited..." Ravio whimpered. "I waited so long."
"I'm sorry you did." He  spoke softly, slowly stepping forward, not removing his eyes from the merchant's. "But I can explain what's happening, I can tell you how we can find her again."
Ravio looked at him.
"Find her again.." He mumbled back.
"Yes. We can find her again." He said gently, reaching out with one hand to touch Ravio's shoulder. Ravio flinched before relaxing slightly.
"You don't care about the rest of the world. Neither do I. Only She matters, right?" Ravio slowly nodded at him.
"We have to get rid of any traitors here." Warriors continued, "Get rid of any possible danger to her. We have to make sure this place is safe for her, right?"
"They...said they didn't know where she was..." Ravio said, still hesitant but less aggressive than before.
"They said they didn't know...but I knew they were lying..." He shook his head, blinking repeatedly, as if to clear his vision. "I knew better. Traitors always lie. I was going to force them to tell me, but they were stubborn, liars..."
"So you killed them." Warriors finished, nodding his head.
Ravio nodded his head again. "I...She's not here...w-where is she?" He repeated, his whole body trembling violently.
"...She's gone." Warriors replied.
Ravio stared at Warriors with wide eyes. "Gone...?"
"She...had to go somewhere.." Warriors said calmly, "We all did...it's why you're here too..."
"...Why I'm here..."
"Think about it, why would you be here?" Warriors asked Ravio, who continued to stand still. "You've been waiting patiently for her return. Why would you be here when she hasn't returned yet?"
"I..."
"It's alright. Just think. Why are you here. You remember this place don't you? Do you remember me? How we first met?"
"..War...Cia..." Ravio mumbled, his breathing heavy. Warriors nodded.
"The sorceress, the war she began. We are currently fighting her. Tell me Hero of Lorule," Warriors felt Ravio flinch under his hand, "How can you be here, how can we be fighting her if you were waiting for (y/n) back home?"
Silence filled the room for several moments, as Ravio stood there and processed everything that was said.
His gaze lowered to the ground, his eyes watering. His lip quivering.
Finally, he managed to look up at Warrior, fear in his eyes.
"She's...not.." He whispered, trailing off, but Warriors knew what he was asking.
"...She isn't..." Warriors replied, eyes softening as he thought of her, "But she is not here. You remember when you met her, right?"
Ravio nodded.
"But if you think about it, that point in time hasn't happened yet." Warriors reasoned, "So if you're here, and the point of time when you met her is farther down the line, what do you think that means..?"
"That she's still alive." Ravio answered quietly.
"Precisely."
"She's not dead." He said slowly. "She's...She's okay?"
"Right." Warriors smiled weakly.
"...Is she really alive?"
"She's not dead. That woman is very strong."
"Strong..." Ravio nodded, thinking of her. "She is very strong."  He raised his head.
"What...what do we do?" He asked, wringing his bloodied hands, the fierce aggression that had been behind those eyes now settling, replaced with exhaustion and nervousness. "W-What should we do now?"
"..First we needed to meet up with the others, it's better to be around those you trust when feeling like this." Warriors explained, "Then we can decide on what to do next."
Ravio stared up at him, slowly nodding before looking around.
"...The...bodies..." Warriors looked at the corpses around them, eyes empty of any emotion.
"What about them?" He asked,
"Traitors..." Ravio muttered.
"We'll destroy the entrance to this cave..." He answered, "Lie and say an ambush took them out. They were never meant to live beyond the war anyways."
Ravio nodded, appeased by his response.
He shrugged, "Traitors don't live past their usefulness."
"How could you say that?!?" Warriors looked over his shoulder at the sudden outburst.
The soldier had his sword pointed at him. "These people risked their lives! And you decide to leave them here and take that...that monster with us?!??"
Warriors raised an eyebrow, "I don't see how you care, you abandoned them to save yourself."
"That...is not true!" The soldier shouted back, "I went to get help!!"
"You all saw Ravio here, decided to be drunk on power and harass a clearly out of sorts man." Warriors stated, turning to face the soldier, "And when he took out several of your 'comrades', despite your clear advantage in numbers, you decided escape was the better option."
The soldier, who's stance became slightly shaky,  stepped backwards slightly, "Th...those are not...true."
Warrior chuckled, it was not a pleasant sound. "Oh...you didn't think I knew about your little group's power trips when left alone with any refugees?"
He looked at the soldier, "No. Of course I knew about that, I knew about the bribes you took to lie about reports, how you tried to lord your status as a soldier to get what you wanted out of civilians." Warriors tsk'd.
" What Ravio did to your comrades ...that wasn't part of your plan, was it? You wanted to use you authority to take advantage of a clearly unstable man and when it turned out to be a bad move, you abandoned your fellow men to save yourself."
He chuckled lightly, "A shame though; I might've gotten something of use out of them before I took them out myself."
"No...they-I....!" He exclaimed, sounding desperate. "I did this because I was forced to!"
"Always with an excuse." Warrior stated, looking at the soldier steadily, "But no matter, I had no plans to keep you alive the moment I realized who you cornered."
"You...You can't!"
"Traitors," He scoffed, "No matter how many of you are taken out, sooner or later, someone else will always step in to take your place."
He stared down the soldier, "So killing you really won't make much of a difference. But I suppose extermination of insects never is."
The soldier trembled violently.
"You're a monster!" He shouted at him, "You are nothing but a traitorous monster!"
"Oh? Is that so?" Warrior replied, "How very hurtful...and predictable, you all always say the same thing when you face judgement."
"Y...You'll pay for this!" He growled, lunging forward at the Hero.
"DIE!!!" The soldier shouted, raising his sword once more.
Warriors stood there calmly as the man charged forward.
But his attack never landed.
The soldier could only let out a gurgle noise as a blade pierced his neck from behind.
"One lesson I learned when dealing with traitors," Warriors  said simply, as the soldier collapsed to the floor, "Always bring backup."
The soldier let out a choking gurgle, a hand trying to stem the blood escaping his neck.
Warriors slowly walked over to the dying man, staring at him.
"Hm...I just realized." Warriors commented, crouching down.
"But what was your name again?"
The soldier's eyes widened, a flash of rage passing through his eyes, but just as quickly as it appeared, it faded.
Along with the life that those eyes once held.
Warriors stared at the dead man for a moment before looking up.
"Thank you for the assistance, Time."
"You enjoy making me deal with your messes." Ravio jumped at the young voice that came out of nowhere.
He blinked, and suddenly, a young boy was standing next to Warriors and the corpse, a grey, stone like mask in his hand.
The boy was familiar...
"...The...old man..." Ravio uttered, still blinking in confusion.
The deceivingly young hero looked up at him and nodded.
"I'd say it's good to see you again merchant, but I doubt you wanted to wake up here in the first place." He said as he reached over and pulled out his sword from the corpse.
Ravio twitched but nodded all the same.
Warriors stood up, dusting his pants, "Where's Sailor?"
"Getting the bombs ready to seal up this place." Time answered, flicking the blood off his sword.
Warriors nodded in acknowledgement before turning back to face Ravio.
"We're heading out now."
"Also, here." Time reached into his pouch and pulled out something large.
Ravio blinked. Oh, his hood.
The child hero tossed the hood over to the merchant who caught it.
"Alright then, follow me." Warriors began walking away, Time following.
"Will we...see her soon?" Ravio asked quietly, Warriors didn't pause.
"We will, eventually...but for now, we need to wait just a bit longer."
Ravio shifted in place.
He...didn't want to wait anymore. He was tired of waiting.
...But this time he wasn't the only one waiting, was he?
"If she isn't at the end..." Ravio said after a moment, "...then I'll kill you"
"...And I'd let you." Warriors answered as he kept walking. Time silently following, but the glance he gave the Lorule merchant said the same thing.
Ravio was free to kill them if she wasn't there.
Absorbing that answer, Ravio silently followed them.
---
---
Ravio silently stared at the letter and his bracelet on the table.
The captain hadn't informed him of what were the contents within, but he said it would help his counterpart greatly.
Tomorrow he would head into Hyrule to find Link.
The war had helped him get his mind settled straight.
Guided by the three heroes, he was able to learn control over his emotions, able to have a plan to focus on. It helped, when he returned to a desolate Lorule, one without it's Triforce. One where Hilda was manipulated by Yuga.
But not that he had a problem hiding his thoughts.
Who would expect cowardly ol' Ravio?
Ravio stared at the bracelet and letter. Thinking about everything that would happen, what could happen.
Just a little longer and he'll see her again.
He just had to wait a little longer. He wasn't the only one who prayed she was at the end.
He wondered how Link was handling this. A part of him worried for his Hyrulian counterpart. (Understandable really, to be away from her was utter pain.)
He hoped she was there.
Because Ravio, he didn't want to kill them.
Because killing them meant she wasn't there.
So he hoped, hoped that he didn't have to kill them.
He didn't want to even consider the idea that she wasn't there.
So he wasn't going to kill them. Because she was going to be there. He just had to wait a bit longer.
Whatever punishment he could come up with was nothing compared to what they must all be feeling. So he will meet his counterpart with an open mind. (Only when she was back, safe and sound, would he speak to him about it.)
He sighed, setting the two items in his desk and headed towards his bed.
He fell asleep early that night, he wanted tomorrow to come soon.
Because then he's one step closer being with her again.
...
(His heart still hurt. The world was still so cold.)

Secret Admirer || Seulgi
pt. 2 here <<<
♡ Member: Classmate*Seulgi x Loser*Femreader
♡ Theme: slight angst and fluff at some point kinda?.. Idk just please read lol
♡ Warning: None
♡ Description: For months you've communicated with Seulgi by sending her secret admirer letters, but one day you decide to try taking things further between the two of you.
Word count: 4.2k ???
(Sorry if the time stamps might seem a little messy)
তততততততততততততততততততততততততততততত
It was like love at first sight.
At the beginning of the school year when your eyes spotted Kang Seulgi walking the busy hallways after exiting your pre-calculus class.
That silky jet black hair, those dangerously sharp monolids that tried to mask her dark yet alluringly soft eyes, her peachy pink lips, the seductive sway of her hips, the confidence in each stride she took, walking the halls as if she owned the school..
And you will never forget those long three seconds of eye contact you two shared that moment, she was so beautiful, your mind couldn't fathom that she was even real! And to top everything off, her shoulder slightly brushed against yours when you walked past each other, cold chills instantly being driven up your spine, your breath hitching and goosebumps rising upon your sensitive skin.
You paused right there in the middle of the moving hallways and flipped your head around, adjusting your big glasses as you curiously watched the girl approach her friends, hearing them all cheerfully call out for her. "Seulgi!"
"Seulgi.." The word melted off your tongue like ice cream, repeating and savoring the taste of the sweet name under your breath to lock it in memory. "Seulgi."
At first, you were intimidated by her mysterious allure, but with the bright smile she flashed spotting out her friends and hearing the warming tone she spoke in when greeting them, you realized she was just a fluffy bunny in disguise as a black cat. You turned your head back around with flushed cheeks, the girl's name echoing throughout your mind, and walked off to your next class with a satisfied heart. Just everything about those amazing fifteen seconds instantly locked you in, and soon after that, each day whenever Seulgi would walk out from her second period, you'd make sure to always stay near the lockers in time just so you could see her beautiful face passing by you and hear her tender voice when chatting with her friends.
Now you, Y/N L/N, have had plenty of minor crushes before, and you obviously knew you deeply admired Seulgi's beauty and charismatic personality, but after a few weeks passing by, you started to realize that this wasn't just an innocent hallway crush, you were becoming obsessed over Seulgi. Every time you looked at her it was like seeing her for the first time over and over again, giving you the same comforting and content feeling, you cherishing those strong feelings you didn't even know you could hold for someone!
You were catching feelings.
Deep feelings.
And you loved it.
For you, you felt like you had an advantage at crushing on Seulgi knowing that she wasn't really a popular student, so that meant there was less of a competition for you and it made you feel like you weren't too far down from her level.
The only downside of falling for Seulgi was that the two of you had no classes together, zero, nothing, nada, so other than walking past each other once or twice a day during the five-minute time period of switching between classes or possibly at lunch if you weren't sitting in the far corner, then there honestly wasn't any other way to see her.
But even if the two of you did have any classes together, there was no way in hell your wimpy, shy, introverted self could start any sort of clear conversation with Seulgi without freaking out and ending up making an absolute fool of yourself! That was the reason alone on why you hadn’t made any friends yet, so how would you had even expected to freely talk to someone you had feelings for?
Lucky you, you came up with a solution and your solution to this problem was to start writing secret admirer letters to Seulgi and slip them into her locker when she wasn't around. Trying to be cute, the nickname you came up with to use as your anonymous signature was "Candy."
Your first attempt at sending the letters was of a cheesy poem you had written about Seulgi's eyes. That entire day you had discreetly walked past her locker multiple times, hoping to catch her in the act of reading it, but either you missed her or she just ignored the letter, both thoughts as equally leaving you disappointed.
Fortunately, during your second attempt at sending a new poem the next day, you caught Seulgi with one of her friends hanging at her locker. You quickly hid and stood around the corner of the hallways, secretly observing the scene as your eyes only gave interest in to where Seulgi's hands were leading to next.
When Seulgi opened her locker, she was immediately startled from the envelope flying out past her, landing in the center of the non-crowded hallway. While she picked it up her friend peaked her head over, nosily asking Seulgi what it was. You watched closely as Seulgi carefully opened the envelope, making sure not to rip your heart sticker seal, and pulled out the note to which both of the girls instantly starting reading out loud. When done reading, Seulgi blushed, covering her mouth in bewilderment while her friend stared at her with her jaw lowered in shock.
You watched intensely, your heart booming in your chest, anxiously trying to read Seulgi's features to figure out whether or not she was feeling the letter, but seeing her bubble a coy laugh with her friend, holding the note tightly to her heart like it was her most prized possession, a wave of relief finally washed over you, confident in knowing that Seulgi was flattered by your poem. But your smile quickly faltered hearing Seulgi and her friend trying to guess who "Candy" was, all the names mentioned only being random guys from the athletic teams.
You were offended, honestly. All that effort and thought you put in just for them to think that any of the boys mentioned were capable of spending any time out of their day to write something as sweet and romantic as your poem?
Those boys wouldn't even buy a girl roses on the first date!
But their words also struck you like a knife to the chest, stinging you in the most sensitive place of your heart. It pained you that the only people in her thoughts were boys.
Boys..
Would Seulgi ever consider being with a girl?
Did the thought ever cross her mind?..
That upsetting question lingered in the back of your mind for a while, but even though the doubt wanted to take over you, it didn't stop you one bit. You were going to let your admiration for her be known no matter what! So ever since then, you'd consistently send Seulgi the admirer letters you'd spend all night working on, never daring to miss or skip a day.
What started from poems went to you asking questions about herself and her daily life, trying to get to know her better, to eventually just having casual conversations. At the bottom of the letters, you would tell Seulgi to write her response on the backside and place it on top of her locker so that you were able to access the letter again to respond back to her; Lunchtime would always be the time you'd check for her responses since you knew Seulgi and any of the people she hung out with would be too far away to spot you near her locker giving and responding to the notes.
In the span of just two months after starting these letters, you and Seulgi were pretty much like best friends. You were so confident in responding to her, it seemed like you knew so much about her now, like you were actually a known person in her life. Each new fact you learned about her only made you fall for her harder.
You were so comfortable, having already accepted to yourself that this was the only way you would continue to communicate with Seulgi, that you weren't at all prepared for what the upcoming second semester had in store for you when you got moved to gym class.
You walked into the gym awkwardly and uncomfortably cladded in the skintight gym uniform that you were positive had to have been a size too small. Your arms hugged your body tightly as you sat on the far end of the bleachers, trying your best to keep yourself hidden while you spectated the classmates around you, impatiently waiting for your coach to hurry and start class.
While your eyes glanced around the spacious gym, something, or someone, caught your attention almost immediately. You swiftly pulled your glasses off, cleaned them, and placed them back on to make sure your eyes weren't deceiving you, and surely enough as the gym doors closed you saw the raven head mark her entrance in.
Your hand flew to your mouth to hide your gasp when you saw the tall girl walk to the center of the gym with her friends alongside her. Your first-ever class with Seulgi and it had to be gym? You couldn't tell if this was a blessing or a curse because, on one hand, this would give you a better opportunity to interact with and finally get to see a new side of Seulgi, athletic Seulgi, but that also meant that Seulgi's first impression of you would most likely be as the embarrassingly unfit girl who fails miserably to do even the simplest of stretches, but that's only if she'd even care to spare a glance your way.
Your mouth was quivering and your legs shaking ogling at her slim figure in the fitted gym uniform from afar. And when class had started, you guys running laps and doing basic stretches, all you could do was stay distracted staring at Seulgi the entire time. You never realized how much more attractive Seulgi could get, so now athletic Seulgi was the only image invading your mind for the next couple of weeks when writing your next few letters.
You so badly wanted to write to her about how amazing you thought she looked each time you saw her in class, but you wondered if that would expose too much to her about who you truly were, so you ended up never mentioning it. You weren't confident enough to reveal yourself to her just yet..
During one class as everyone was running laps, you were weakly running behind Seulgi and her friends who were jogging with ease, all chatting with one another.
Your eyes were too focused on her lower half, distracting you from the untied shoelace that caused you to trip momentarily, you yelping and falling face-first into the freshly polished wood flooring, causing a dramatically loud thud.
You laid on ground in defeat like a stupid starfish for a few seconds before weakly lifting your head, scanning the area around you to notice everyone paused in their tracks to stare down at you with their confused eyes. Your eyes narrowed over to Seulgi and her friends who were only a few feet ahead of you, all turned around to look at you too. Some of her friends covered their mouths in shock while others were clearly trying to hide their laughs.
To say you were embarrassed was completely an understatement, but as your gaze averted to Seulgi's you noticed something that put you at ease. Although your vision was blurry from the lost of your glasses, you could clearly she wasn't laughing at you.
In fact, it seemed as if she looked genuinely concerned, like she wanted to help you up. But unfortunately, if that was her intention, a random guy had already beat her to it—him stepping in front of you, blocking her completely from your view and holding out his hand to help you. You reluctantly accepted his offer, pulling yourself up to your feet.
Some classmates tried to ask if you were okay, one of them giving you back your fallen glasses while you brushed dirt off your shirt, but you quickly dismissed them, placing your glasses back on and hurriedly ran off finishing your laps in embarrassment, your brain continuously repeating to yourself about how much of a loser you are.
At the end of class, you sat on the locker room bench, mindlessly sinking alone into your thoughts, blankly staring at the floor, but the light tap of a finger on your shoulder snapped you back to reality. "Hi!"
You clocked your head to the side, immediately recognizing that silky voice, and felt your heart drop to the pit of your stomach when you made eye contact with the one and only Kang Seulgi. "H-Hi!" You stuttered, your cheeks burning red, trying your best to keep your focus away from Seulgi's abs poking through the cheap white cotton.
Seulgi sat down in the space beside you, keeping a fair distance between the two of you. "You know, that was a pretty hard fall earlier. I just wanted to know if you were okay," Seulgi said, her head tilted as she stared at you, her eyes full of wonder.
You fidgeted with your fingers, keeping your hands close to your chest while trying your best not to break eye contact even though your legs were starting to get equivalent to the feeling of jelly. You were very much still flustered from the earlier incident, so talking about it with Seulgi who watched the whole thing in 4K play out was embarrassing. "Oh.. uh, y-yeah! I guess it kinda hurt then, but I'm okay now, really!" You glanced down at your legs, discovering scraped-up knees you somehow didn't notice or feel earlier.
Seulgi smiled at you, her eyes turning to crescents and the corners of her lips reaching her cheekbones. "Well, that's nice to hear!
By the way, what's your name? I'm Seulgi!" Seulgi held her hand out, waiting for yours. You nervously lifted your shaken hand and joined it with her’s. Your nerves melted at her touch. "I'm Y/N.."
"Oh, yeah, Y/N, that's right! I remember now!" Right after when it looked like Seulgi was going to say something else, her friends walked up to her and told her to hurry with them so they could make it in time to their next class. Seulgi slightly frowned, but then looked at you one more time with a smile, waving bye, and exited the locker room leaving your awkward self all alone again.
Wow.
The first time you spoke to Seulgi, and it didn't end up terrible?
Unfortunately, you and Seulgi didn't go any further than that, that day being the last time you had made real-life conversation with her, but Seulgi fully acknowledging your existence alone is a huge step up for you, and now whenever you two make eye contact, whether it's in gym or the hallways, almost every time she blesses your shy soul with a warm smile to which you reciprocate back an awkward half smile.

It's now the current date, February 12th, two days until Valentine's Day.
There's a plan you have in mind, but it's so far out of your comfort zone that you don't know if you'll be able to pull yourself to go through with it.
You look down at the note in your hands, rereading it, soaking in the words, pondering it, hoping that you can bring yourself to a conclusion quickly.
**
Tomorrow morning could we meet at that one tree near the entrance of the tennis court? I feel like it's about time you should know who I truly am!
— Candy ♡
**
Because it's been months of you and Seulgi hitting it off with the letters and since it's so close to Valentine's Day, you thought why not try to ask her to be your Valentine? You know that if you don't reveal yourself now, then you most likely never will, so why waste this perfect opportunity than to make your reveal to her even more special?
And besides, after a while, Seulgi will surely lose interest in talking with and responding back to basically an invisible person who's leading her on to nowhere.
You let in a deep breath to calm yourself down before sliding the note inside the envelope and sealing it closed with your signature heart sticker. The note is held close to you as you lie under the covers of your bed and turn off your lamp, trying your best to comfortably sleep through the night. You will go through with this.
When making your entrance into school the next morning, your mind is full of uncontrollable doubt. For some reason, you now think you're taking things too quickly.. maybe it's too soon? But you've already come this far, there's no way you can back out now.
You walk up to Seulgi's locker, making sure beforehand that no one's around, and hurriedly slip the envelope through the slot, quickly running away to your first class.
Class periods go by and soon it's lunchtime. You walk back to Seulgi's locker to check on the note, hoping to arrive back to a response, but when you search the top of her locker you frown.
There's nothing.
Quickly you're starting to get nervous again, imagining the worst, thinking that Seulgi's ignoring Candy now. Maybe she even threw away the note! You knew this was all just a mistake to do from the start!..
You grip your arm awkwardly, walking away from the lockers with your head held down in shame and dreadfully enter the cafeteria, grab a lunch tray, and look around in search of an open seat. You normally sit alone in the far corner of the cafeteria, but a random friend group for some reason stole your table today so now you're forced to actually be seen out in the open. You groan, looking around for empty tables with fail until you notice an open section at an occupied table. There's at least a two-seat distance from the other person sitting on that side of the bench so that's okay enough for your introverted comfort.
But what you didn't realize when sitting down at the table was that Seulgi and her friends were sitting at the other end. You froze as your eyes locked on her figure, stopping yourself mid-chewing with the fork still sitting in your mouth.
You could hear them speaking on the topic of Valentine's Day which instantly opened your ears to eavesdrop.
"So Seulgi, has anyone asked you to be their valentine yet?" One of her friends asks. Seulgi laughs shyly. "Actually, a lot of guys have asked me!"
Your heart sinks at the excitement in her words.
"But.. I haven't accepted any of their offers."
You're suddenly confused. You never saw any of the guys' said attempts, but you're so sure she would've accepted one of them by now since it seems like so many people have asked, right?
"Then who are you gonna go out with? Are you seriously going to ride single again this year?" Another one of Seulgi's friends chimes in, rolling their eyes as if they're disappointed in her.
Seulgi quickly shakes her head at them in protest and pulls out her backpack, digging deeply through it. You can see something poking out as she pulls something out, your letter, but then she hesitates and pushes it back down, zipping her bag closed. "I think I'll have a Valentine tomorrow.. You know, I know I haven't really updated you guys about anything, but I've still been receiving those letters from my secret admirer and honestly, it seems like he's been hinting at me that he'll ask me!"
All of her friends squeal, now starting to bombard her with questions. "What—Why haven't you told us? Can you show us a letter? Did he send you another one today?" Someone tries to reach for her backpack but Seulgi's quick to slap their hand away. "No! Move!"
You listen to the conversation in disbelief, slowly chewing on your lunch. Seulgi saw the letter, but she didn't write you a response to it, but she also basically just admitted she'll be your Valentine if you ask her out tomorrow, right?
Also, it's clear she's been keeping you a secret from her friends, but in a way, it flatters you because it makes this thing feel so much more personal. No friends with her to laugh at your conversations, just genuine bonding. It really seems like she's looking forward to you..
..But her words sting at you once again once she speaks the words "He."
You've never asked her if she likes girls or given her any hints you even are one, which is stupid, you know, but every time you thought about writing it you'd freak out and crumble up the note.
You almost feel bad. You're the mole amongst the table while the girls continue to wonder and guess who the admirer is, obviously expecting a hot football player, not someone like you. You bet she rejected all of the guys asking her out just so she could wait to be asked out by you, and now once she meets you she's probably going to be faced with disappointment..
In the deep corner of your mind, there was always a thought knowing that rejection for simply being a girl was a huge possibility, but you never fully registered how you would react, the embarrassment and shame that would come from it. You knew you weren’t ready to handle that.
On the detour back to your locker at the end of the day to grab your backpack, passing by Seulgi's locker, you spot a piece of paper sticking out from the top of her locker. Looking around to make sure no one's paying attention to you, you slickly grab the paper and quickly walk away to your locker trying not to look suspicious.
As you approach your locker you look down and read the note you sent Seulgi, flipping it over, reading over her response, and see her confirming she'll meet up with you tomorrow.
You want to smile at this, but nothing can distract you from the ongoing fear you have.
তততততততততততততততততততততততততততততত
You want to throw up.
After your long night of anticipation, it's finally the day you'll be asking Seulgi to be your Valentine.
There's no way you can back down now, she's already agreed to meet and if you don't and try to write her an excuse instead on why you didn't show up then she'll for sure never respond to your notes again!
You look at yourself in the bathroom mirror, taking in deep breaths as you examine your curled pigtails. You never thought you would see yourself wearing your hair in anything other than down, but while you and Seulgi were talking a few months back she had mentioned her favorite hairstyle was pigtails, so why not do that? You already knew you weren't the most attractive person out there, so maybe she'd find you more appealing this way?
You walk out of the bathroom with your mind finally formed at some sort of peace, grab your bag, and pick up your gifts for Seulgi before finally gaining the courage to walk out of the house.
The wind is chilly as it swishes past your bare legs while you walk down the sidewalk. Soon, you reach the school grounds, being greeted with an unnerving chill up your spine upon entrance.
You so badly want to turn around to go back home and just forget about all of this—it's terrifying, really.
But you inhale one final breath, breathing in slowly and exhaling all of your worries and doubts away. You return on your walk through the school campus, the couples around you punching at your heart as you walk past them being all up and close on each other, the girls blushing as their boyfriends gift them roses, tiny teddy bears, and boxes of chocolates. You know, the stereotypical things.
You approach closer to the tennis court, your heart booming in your chest as the calm thoughts you thought you managed are overrun with fear. What if Seulgi's not even waiting there? What if this is just a waste of time?
You squeeze your eyes shut when turning the corner leading to the tennis court, not bearing to watch your failed plan. Your eyes slowly opening, your body tenses seeing Seulgi standing by the tree just like you had asked her, her scrolling on her phone as she waits patiently.
She actually listened to you. Well, to Candy.
You hold Seulgi's gifts behind your back and slowly but surely make your approach to her, your legs shaking in fear after each step.
Quickly, in the corner of her eye, Seulgi notices you and lifts her head, beaming a joyful smile your way. You gulp and smile awkwardly at her, stepping closer until the two of you are a good three feet apart. "What are you doing here, Y/N?" Seulgi innocently asks.
Your lips quiver, looking into her oblivious eyes, preparing your words. "I-I.. I wanted to give you something important.." You somehow manage out past your shaky breath. You hesitate your actions, but pull yourself together and hold one of your hands out, a note held tightly between your fingers as you offer it to Seulgi.
There really is no turning back now.

⭒❃.✮ ⭒❃.✮ ⭒❃.✮ ⭒❃.✮ ⭒❃.✮ ⭒❃.✮ ⭒❃.✮ ⭒❃.✮ ⭒❃
The sensuous tremor of the music rumbled through the room. Another night for Amarantha to make a fool of someone, you thought as you arrived at her throne room with your brothers. You stood by Eris, a mask of a scowl on your face as you watched her court be merry—if that’s why you could call it. All dancing, grinding on one another, drinking the fae wine, and over indulging on food. To be so fortunate to think this prison was homely must have been an ignorant bliss you hadn’t had the privilege to think. You had hardly found the appetite to eat twice a day if it weren’t for your eldest brother and mother.
Years turned into decades, and the relentless tyranny of the red-headed woman felt like an eternity. As your brothers dispersed into the crowd, you remained with Eris. Due to Lucien’s escape from your father’s suffocating grasp, Eris became your closest ally.
“What’s your strategy for tonight?” Eris queried, both of you observing the crowd.
Nonchalantly adjusting your gown’s sleeves, you responded, “Check on mother, evade father and our brothers, and hope Amarantha doesn’t summon me.”
“Stay inconspicuous, Y/n,” Eris cautioned, his gaze piercing. “I’m serious.”
You scoffed, “Easier said than done.”
“Father’s aware of your recent…activities.”
You bit your lip, of course he did. He always learned what bidding Amarantha made you do—not like you could avoid it. Either suffer at the hands of that cruel woman or suffer from the hands of your father. You had experienced both, and your father’s sadist ways were getting off easy nowadays.
“You think our court’s morals matter down here, Eris?” You retorted curtly.
“You can still have modesty,” he bit back. “When we get out of here, nobody will ever want you after hearing how many nobles and lords you’ve bedded.”
Your eyes flashed with anger, “you know I have no say in the matter. Now if you’ll excuse me.” Pushing past him, you needed distance from the constant reminders of your grim reality.
Scanning the room, you took a wine-filled goblet from a passing servant. Settling at a secluded table, and sighing. You hadn’t known why Amarantha had made you one of her harlots. It took you years to comply with the bidding before finally letting go of your morality.
“I knew I could smell filth, Lady Fox.” A voice purred from behind you. You tensed as the Night Court High Lord, Rhysand, took a seat next to you. The despair you had felt turned into an ice with close proximity to the dark haired violet eyed male.
“Are you sure those aren’t Amarantha’s sheets you just rolled in that you’re smelling?” You replied smoothly.
He narrowed his eyes at you, “did Tarquin not satisfy you enough? Or did you not collect enough secrets for her liking last night and got punished?”
Rhysand could be insufferable. He had always held a disdain toward you, one that started as unwarranted until it was. You had once been a close friend to his cousin, Morrigan. Both of you were able to bond over the fact both your families hated females and only saw them as property and assets. Then your brothers had left her for dead in the woods of your court when they found she had been sullied. A note from her parents nailed to her womb.
You had mourned quietly for days for her, until Eris had broken through the wards you put up so no one could bother you. Everyone associated you to be just as cruel and nasty like your father and brothers—never taking into consideration you were your own person. Had considered the actions your family have done wounded you, and you always paid a price for them. No friends that weren’t actually friends, only scared of the consequences if they didn’t hang around you. No one you could trust without fear they’d report everything you have said to your family. That alone filled you with enough spite and resentment to become the vision everyone already had perceived you as.
“He was quite satisfactory,” you hummed, taking a sip from your glass. It was average at best, you wouldn’t let the deceitful high lord know.
Since you had been locked under this Mother forsaken place, he had been damn near the bane of your existence. Always going the extra mile to make this living nightmare a living hell for you. Poking and prodding you, knowing you couldn’t do much in retaliation.
He gave you a disgusted look and caught a servant on their way out of the room with a tray of drinks. He leaned over and plucked one off the platter like you had done prior. You couldn’t help but notice as he leaned over where his tattoos peaked from under his shirt, lashings danced over his taut back underneath the dark fabric. Your scowl had turned to frown.
“Did you not satisfy her majesty last night?” There was no venom to your words. You hadn’t known the prized possession of Amarantha had still been punished like her little spies and sex workers. You thought he got off easy since she still allowed him some of his magic, offered him one of the best suites in this prison, and more authority than anyone else down here.
He cooly leaned back, adjusting his shirt as if he knew what you saw. Then taking the drink down his throat in one gulp. He used his sleeve to wipe the drop that dropped from the corner of his mouth. His violet eyes meeting yours, a dangerous warning in those orbs.
“I wouldn’t go snooping around, Lady Fox.” Was all he said, getting up from the table and melded into the crowd of courtiers.
⭒❃.✮
The thin fabric worsened the sting of your back as it moved against the wounds that had been inflicted on you hours prior. You quietly snuck out of your family’s suite feeling suffocated being in the same vicinity as them. After the underwhelming festivities of the night your father had cornered you with your elder brothers in the suite, no Eris or your mother in sight. The poker from the fireplace in his hand, and your brothers ripping your dress down the back, constraining you.
The shame you brought upon this family was all that you could hear echoing off the halls, though they were eerily silent. Filthy whore scratching down your mind as the friction of fabric on your back reminded you of the burning iron that branded your skin. You had walked mindlessly through the halls, trying to escape your thoughts. To grasp whatever sanity was left in your mind. You no longer cried when punished, only letting the fire that was dampered for now simmer inside you. You learned crying only fed the cruelty of your father and brothers.
You sat at the top of the main staircase that led to all the suites under the mountain. You clenched your teeth, hissing, as you shrugged down the straps of your nightgown so the cold air could hit the hot wounds. Bending over, hugging your knees and rocking, getting accustomed to the chill.
“It’s not wise to be out of your suite at night, Lady Fox.” That familiar chastising voice filled the silent halls. You looked up to see Rhysand walking up the stairs towards you. You straightened up, wincing, tugging the straps up to your nightgown.
“Couldn’t I say the same?” You mustered a sneer. He was still in his clothes from earlier, slightly crumpled and wrinkled now. You could smell Amarantha on him, making your nose crinkle.
“Pain doesn’t suit you.” He said simply. “Take a walk with me.” He reached out. You hesitantly looked at his outstretched hand he offered. “I won’t bite or scold you.”
You let him take your smaller dainty hand into his rough calloused one. Fighting the seethe and sharp intake of breath as he helped you up, your muscles sore from exhaustion.
You two didn’t talk as he led you through the halls of suites. His hand still holding yours, you wondered if he had realized it. You were too numb to care or admit that warmth brought slight comfort.
“You’re not bringing me to her, are you?” You whispered. You two walked in a wing you weren’t familiar with, and your blood ran slightly cold with every step you took with the High Lord.
“Don’t you think you’ve had enough fun tonight, Lady Fox?” The sarcasm dripped from his tongue. “I’m not as cruel as you Vanserra’s.” You gave him a side eye, him only offering a tight lipped smile.
He led you to a door, opening it and letting you in first. He closed the door, locking it behind him. With a snap of his fingers the fireplace roared to life, causing you to flinch. It was a bedroom. His bedroom.
“I didn’t realize you actually occupied your bedroom, I thought you rumpled about hers every night.” You said icily, taking all the details of the room in.
A large bed in the middle neatly made with dark silk sheets, a fur lined duvet, and a knitted throw blanket at the end. A dark mantled fireplace with a couple chairs in front. A wardrobe and dresser against the wall, and a door that you assumed led to a bathroom.
“She would be so fortunate to have me grace her bedroom every night.” A feline smile on his lips, his teeth brightly gleaming in the firelight. “Take a seat.” He made a gesture with his head to his bed. He walked through the door in the corner, hearing him rummage through some cabinets as you sat on the edge of the plush mattress.
Your bed wasn’t even this comfortable, you thought as you rolled your shoulders in discomfort. He came back out moments later with medical supplies and in some night clothes. He set them on the stand next to the bed, and sat next to you.
He went to reach for the straps of your nightgown, but pulled away slightly. “Do you mind?” He asked. You shook your head as you faced away from him. He took the straps and slid them down your arms. His touch was surprisingly gentle, being careful as the fabric slightly stuck to your wounds pulling your gown down. He cursed under his breath as he saw what your father had done. You're sure he had seen the healed wounds that littered your back as well, you had more than you could count by now from even before under the mountain.
Another silence had fallen upon the two of you, with only quiet hisses as he cleaned your back. Your eyes blankly staring at the poker by the fireplace.
The centuries of existence you would have never thought that Rhysand would be tending to your wounds—maybe causing them, but never gingerly applying tonic and bandages to your spine. Your shoulders tensed as he brushed some hair away, his fingers sending goosebumps down your arms.
“What would you do if we were finally freed?” He asked thoughtfully.
Your breath stilled at the question. “I-I don’t know.” You stammered.
“Would you leave the Autumn Court?” He dabbed at your back. You had thought numerous times about leaving. Like your brother had.
You cleared your throat, “I couldn’t leave my mother with them by herself.” Your father treated her atrociously, and she had been the only one to show you true love. You had often opted to take the brunt of your father’s brute behavior to save her from it, if you could help it. He only hummed in response at your answer.
“What would you do?”
“I would visit my mother’s old home in Illyria.” He didn’t hesitate with his answer. You bit your lip, you had heard from Lucien what happened about what happened to Rhysand’s mother and sister. You had thought your family had been cruel, but Tamlin’s were gods awful. Tamlin still proved to be awful, he was the reason you all had been under the mountain. You were able to at least sympathize with him on that.
“The Spring Court revels in anguish.” Was all you could say.
He chuckled darkly, “always. Reckoning will come for them soon.” All of you. It had been forty eight years of this curse, it was quickly creeping up to fifty. Soon everyone would feel that reckoning. He finished bandaging your back, smoothing them all over.
He got up to put the supplies away, leaving you awkwardly feeling exposed, sitting there with your nightgown only covering your lower half. You started to pull it up, but he came out with a dark cotton shirt. He handed it to you. His eyes stayed locked on yours as you took the shirt.
“You can sleep here, I’ll wake you before the servants and guards start roaming.” He told you as you slipped the shirt over your head, standing up to discard your blood stained nightgown from yourself. The shirt had stopped mid thigh, the cool air hitting your legs.
“Thank you,” you murmured as you set the soiled gown on the chair by the fireplace. “You didn’t have to help me.”
“She’s expecting you to do some bidding later. Can’t have you restless and burned. The scars should be gone by then.” He said void of emotion, but you saw a flash of something unreadable in those eyes as he spoke. He untucked the sheets and blankets for you.
There had been a reason for his motives in helping you, of course. Not just out of pure kindness. You felt stupid for not thinking of that in the first place.
“I’ll sleep in the chair.” He grabbed the throw.
You got in the bed, pulling the covers up, the feeling of the silk soft on your bare skin. “This is your bed, it’s big enough for us both.”
“Inviting me to bed already?” He smirked at you. Your cheeks heated in embarrassment, and he merely smiled walking to the other side. “No funny business.” He mocked sternly, slipping under the covers.
You rolled your eyes, before turning on your side away from him. “Goodnight.”
“G’night Lady Fox.” He snapped his fingers, the fire smoldering to just coals. Letting the sound of smoldering ember lull you to a restless sleep.

Gojo Satoru was one persistent man, you gotta give him that. When he said your wish is his command, he delivered, so you don't really have any excuses to further refuse him. He took your opinion on the contract seriously, passed it by you without fail and exceeded expectations. You had the choice to stop whatever madness the two of you were cooking up, so you had that as a buffer to see how things go.
It's a very different situation for the both of you. Neither of you had been in bed with the same person twice. You thought that was convenient, spares you from that awkward phase of having to deal with the messy things that come along with commitment. But regardless of how much you and Satoru reiterate on the point of having no strings attached, it was still a form of commitment. You didn't know yet whether you liked the nature of that bond regardless if it was limited to the physical aspect.
But it was convenient. You could admit at least that. If it's just sex, then you wouldn't have to go through the motions of meeting people, getting to know them enough to say they're not psychos and establishing that mutual agreement of never seeing each other again. Satoru was familiar ground for once, and you more or less knew what to expect from him with the security of a written agreement adding to your supposed security.
Now it was a game of waiting to see who is gonna crack first, but that's a problem for future you. It's arrogant to think that there are no consequences to what you are about to involve yourself in because there will be, and you knew neither of you are stupid as to deny that. Accepting that fact is the first step. You'll deal with the mess later.
Or maybe you two were really stupid to be considering it at all. Either way, you didn't really care about the intricacies of it as much as you were annoyed over the fact that Satoru was taking away what you wanted to be a peaceful afternoon. Tolerance sure wasn't his strongest suit as expected of a rich brat who didn't know how it feels to be denied and done have the slightest understanding of the word no.
"You're gonna make me neighbors think I got into a tangle with loan sharks, Gojo," you said the moment you opened the door for him, unable to help it but ogle him. He was clad in gray sweats, a black shirt that fit him so damn well, his platinum hair mussed under a white, Balenciaga baseball cap.
He looked at you from under his cap, those gloriously blue eyes twinkling as he broke into a grin. "Well, you do owe me kisses, sweetheart."
Rolling your eyes, you cocked your head to the side, inviting him in, prompting his next comment: "I see how you're related to Sukuna when you move like that."
You chuckled. "I know how you think he was raised by brigands." You looked over your shoulder with a smirk. "You can opt out of our arrangement now."
Satoru caught up to you, blocking your way to the living room. He bent down to your height, booping you on the nose with his index finger. "Is that a roundabout way of saying you want out? You haven't even signed yet." He waved the file he was holding in front of you. "Ammended and reviewed as you've requested."
You took it, pushing past him and plopping down on the couch. You patted the space next to you as you opened the file, startled when he jumped right onto the spot, also making you bounce on the plush seat.
You momentarily glared at him but he just scooted closer, pointing at the sheaf of papers. "The things you wanted added are highlighted in yellow."
You quietly read the things he indicated, rifling through pages with your eyes. All the while, you could feel Satoru's blue orbs on you, his fingers toying with the tips of your hair. From your periphery, you could see him breaking into a soft smile, so different from his cocky, mischief-filled cheshire grins. Your planned glance turned into a sidelong stare as you whipped your head to actually look at him.
To your dismay, his expression was replaced by surprise, making that smile disappear as if it hadn't even been there in the first place.
"What?"
You shook your head, thinking you probably just imagined it. "Where do I sign?"
You made quick work of that after Satoru indicated where you were to sign, handing him the pen and also watching him do the same.
"And that's a done deal!" he declared, slapping the pen on the coffee table before twisting on his waist to look at you. "Congratulations, I'm exclusively yours."
"Thanks for saying my line for me." You shrugged, feeling the awkwardness of the situation now that your "giggle fits" about the whole contract, as Satoru had termed it, had died down. "So..."
"May I kiss you now?" he interrupted your thoughts, invading your space as he leaned forward, his eyes shifting slowly from your eyes and your lips.
You didn't fail to notice how he emphasized on asking for your permission this time instead of asking whether he was capable of it. "If you're always gonna choose your words like this..." You knocked his cap off his head with one hand while the other glided up from his shoulder to his nape. You pulled him closer, your lips just millimeters from his. "...instead of being such a tactless bastard all the time, I might actually enjoy this more."
He looked at you with hooded eyes. He wasn't one to be distracted from his goals. "So, may I, sweet cheeks?"
"Yes, you mmph –"
Satoru's plush lips were on yours in a split second, pressing gently yet the fact that he was holding back was evident in the way he gripped onto your waist as if he was trying to tether himself to you. He moved his lips against yours in languid motions as if he was testing the waters. You let him although you wondered at that knowing how hungry and all-consuming his kisses can be from experience.
You didn't dislike it, even the way he would pull away in the smallest fractions to nip at your lips before he would give them tiny kitten licks. It was enticing watching him take his time, making you reciprocate in the same small actions but mostly letting him have at it. Satoru's large hands moved from where he was keeping you steady on your arms up to the sides of your neck, his thumb brushing against your jawline.
Just then, he wrenched his eyes from intently paying attention to your lips to meet yours, blinking slowly and absently licking his lips. Satoru looked at you as if he couldn't believe you were in front of him, again breaking into that genuine smile.
"You're so pretty, sweet cheeks," he mumbled, looking absolutely out of it.
You were tempted to snort at his compliment but at the same time, you couldn't, unable to extricate yourself from the moment. This was a new side to him you're seeing for the first time. "That's one kiss today, Gojo."
At that, the spell seemed to have broken as he placed his forehead on your shoulder, chuckling. "You're keeping count?" He blindly fished for something in his pocket before taking your hand in his and pressing something onto your palm.
Before you could look and ask what it was, his lips were on yours again, less experimental this time. He licked at the seam of your mouth, pushing his tongue into it and seeking yours. You gasped when he finally found it, groaning when you responded in kind. Your ears were ringing, your head filled with nothing but the way he tasted in your mouth and the way he was possessively holding you against his taut form while his fingers drew circles on the small of your back.
And just as you were getting used to him and what he was doing to you, he pulled away, your lips parting with a wet sound. You swallowed hard, startled by the sudden loss of contact, and quite frankly, pissed off as well.
He wrapped your fingers on the thing he put in your hand, realizing it was some sort of card. As if he read your mind, he said, "Your key to my private place in the city. I'll text you the address."
With one last peck to your lips which were slightly parted from being flustered, he stood up, putting on his cap. And then he turned to look at you. "Sorry, sweetheart. I have class in half an hour with Yaga." He grinned. "Don't look so disappointed now. I'll make it up to you tomorrow."
You scoffed, also standing up as you regained composure. "Who says I am?" You shook your head, catching sight of the contract on the table. "Take those with you. I don't need Yuki or Iori finding those here."
Satoru laughed, taking your hand and twining his fingers with yours before raising it to his lips and winking at you. "See you tomorrow."

“Keep your helmet. Keep your life, son. Just a flesh wound. Here’s your rifle.”
Joel remembers the first time he saw someone drown.
Wasn’t even a year after the outbreak. He’d been traveling with Tommy and some strangers they met on an abandoned interstate. The way of life had yet to become something of an instinct for them. During this time, they were more prey than predator, and they had little to no knowledge of life outside the south.
The Miller boys had only seen snow once or twice in their lives. No one in their family had ever moved outside of Texas being as big as it was. Tommy had gone into the service, but Iraq had a climate similar to the desert back home. Snow and ice were something of mythical elements they read about in stories and saw in films.
This is why they didn’t see it coming.
“Crawlin’ up the beaches now. ‘Sir, I think he’s bleeding out.’ And some things you just can’t speak about.”
One of the men they’d been trekking across the midwestern landscape with (Joel can’t remember his name even if he tried his damndest) miscalculated the snowfall. It’d been only seconds before the lake he stepped across crumbled beneath him and claimed his life. Ever since then he’s been cautious of frozen bodies of water — even a little frightened of them — but it didn’t stop him from taking the risk every time.
Joel knew for a fact you weren’t a hunter even if he’d only known you for a few months. It didn’t take a damn genius to come to the conclusion that you were far better off as a farmer or…anything other than this. You know how to handle a gun (you had to in order to survive this long) but it wasn’t your strong suit. You were a little off-kilter and fuckin’ jumpy.
How you were still alive he hasn’t the slightest.
Joel had been staring at the back of your head for hours. Tommy led this patrol so he hung back for stalkers. The infected weren’t as active in the winter, especially in such wilderness. The climate causes them to shut down or somethin’ — he didn’t know the science. Just knew that they weren’t around as often when the snow fell.
But while the infected were occasional, winter brought upon other challenges.
Like the freezing temperatures that chilled his bones and bit at his appendages; the snow that clouded his vision and made it difficult to start fires or walk the miles he needed to; and the ice that made fools out of men.
Tommy had crossed it fine, the lake. It wasn’t very big but underneath Joel knew of a bitter current that had little to no forgiveness. The patrol goes in this direction once in awhile, though not often in the wintertime for this very reason. Joel, being as skeptical of lakes as he was, made sure to note its raging waters in the summer. As a survivalist (cynic), he was already prepared for disaster.
For this reason, he waits until Tommy gives the two of you the go-ahead to make a decision.
“It’s good to cross!” Tommy shouts from the other side. He waves a hand to usher you forward.
Joel can see it plain on your face that you’re terrified. You’d only patrolled once before now, but he was certain you were used to the unforgiving climate after so many years of survival before Jackson. He also recalls you mentioning being from the midwest, so he assumed you had enough knowledge of these conditions to accept Tommy’s decision.
You take a deep breath, something changing in your face. He realizes then that you’re good at faking bravery — you just chose not to.
They say fear is an evolutionary response to potential danger.
Joel wishes you had listened to that gut instinct.
“With you, I serve. With you, I fall down.”
You’re barely two feet across the sheet of ice before it crackles beneath your weight. Joel barely has time to register your expression of terror before he’s falling to his knees to crawl upon the lake’s mirror.
“Shit - Joel!” Tommy yells.
Joel doesn’t answer, focusing on shifting his weight just right so that he doesn’t plunge into the depths himself. He can see your shadow beneath the ice, a struggling form that pounds furiously at the frozen sheet above you. He can’t even imagine the panic you must be experiencing now but he attempts to settle his nerves because…
He’d get you out of this. He had to.
It was because of Ellie. She had taken a liking to you in the past year. You were kind to her — showed her how to bake lavender cookies this summer. You welcomed her into your home like you would any member of your family, tutoring her on all kinds of subjects that Joel couldn’t — nor shouldn’t. Ellie needed a woman in her life. You’d become that woman.
It took Joel too long to meet you. He found that he liked you quite a bit himself.
But it was because of Ellie, right?
Yes. Ellie.
He didn’t ever think about the way your eyes shone during golden hour — how they twinkled with a natural aesthetic he didn’t even find in nature. He rarely thought about the length of your hair — how you preferred to keep it braided during the warmer months and down in the cooler opposites. He wasn’t at all distracted by the snowflakes that landed upon your nose while they saddled the horses before going out this morning or how the frigid air blushed the apples of your cheeks.
While he hadn’t known much about you (he’s wanted to — yearned to, but he’s a goddamned pansy) he knew you were something special. Something sweet in a world riddled with rotting flesh and melting tar.
Besides, you were far too young to die.
Yes. Too young to die.
He convinces himself this is why he immediately jumps into action. He’s careful in his ministrations to rescue you, every ounce of strength he has to be clever rather than urgent. Joel figured his decades of fighting would get the job done quickly and with level-headedness. But when he finally manages to grab you from an open pocket within the ice — forty feet from where you initially fell — his hands are trembling.
“Joel! Is she breathin’?!” Tommy yells frantically.
“Watch you breathe in. Watch you breathing out.”
Joel grunts with exertion, dragging your limp and sopping body across the ice and onto the snow covered banks. Once the two of you are out of danger, he finds with horror that…
No. You’re not breathing.
This is when he starts to panic.
“Something med school did not cover. Someone’s daughter. Someone’s mother.”
He thinks of Sarah. It’s an inopportun time to be doing so but he can’t help but see her lifeless body when he looks at yours. The same thing had happened when Ellie drowned before they found the Fireflies in Salt Lake City. Youth quickly deteriorates before him, the Grim’s mangled hand on his shoulder.
“No,” he mutters, shaking his head. “No.”
Joel is a stubborn man and this might be why he’s lived as long as he has. He’s lost too many people. He won’t loose you — not before he had you.
With fumbling hands, he rips away at your drenched clothing which already stiffens from the extreme temperature to check your pulse. He discovers in horror that you have none.
“Fuck. Fuck!”
“Joel! What’s goin’ on, dammit?!” Tommy screams from across the river. It sounds muffled, like he’s underwater himself.
“Holds your hand through plastic now. ‘Doc, I think she’s crashing out.’ And some things you just can’t speak about.”
He begins CPR after unzipping your coat with frantic hands, the heel of his palm inching into your chest the way he’s done so many times before. After a few minutes, he starts mouth to mouth.
It’s not the way he first wanted to touch you.
Instead of a kiss, it’s the attempt at a breath of life.
Your body jostles beneath his endurance, of his precarious attempt at saving your life. Your mouth hangs open like a fish, lips already turning blue, and skin blanching. Images of Sarah — and of Ellie — plague his vision. He thinks of Tess’s body sponging her own blood as she lie dead in the courthouse.
After about five minutes — it felt like hours — he feels the muscles in your legs twitch. You garble, ice water expelling from your lips and onto your chest before gasping for air.
Precious air.
“Jesus,” he whispers in relief, tugging your body close to his chest.
You continue to pant in his arms, body still rigid in shock, before two of you sag in one another’s embrace. Your arms lie limp at your sides from lack of strength. You’re not even shivering — not even crying.
Joel pets your hair, his palm cradling the back of your head. “You’re alright, darlin’. You’re fine…” he whispers.
You nod weakly, eyes slipping shut.
You’re alright.
Tommy sees something defeated in Joel when the medics take you.
Fortunately, they hadn’t been too far away so it was only an hour before they reached Jackson. Joel had instructed you to take off your clothing and wrap yourself in the wool blankets they’d brought along. The patrol was intended to be much longer than this so they were well prepared for any inconveniences.
Even death.
“Only twenty minutes of sleep but you dream of some epiphany.”
This was what you’d been the verge on when they galloped to the gates with thundering hooves. Accounting for the weather, it should’ve taken them three hours to get back - it usually took two during the summer when rain was their only concern. But Joel rode Old Beardy hard; Tommy was concerned the damn thing would fall over from exhaustion.
But they made it in the knick of time. Joel shouted for help while you slump against his back, your horse Bucephalus galloping alongside of his like the loyal steed he was. You were mumbling something incoherent against him and he shushed you as he slid you off into his arms.
“Help!” Joel’s tone broke something down in Tommy’s chest cavity. “I need a goddamn medic!”
They’d been quick to take you. Joel’s fingers lingered against your shivering form as he passed you along to Kevin, one of the younger boys in town. They exchanged a few words before Joel urged him with a stern growl to get going.
“Just one single glimpse of relief to make some sense of what you’ve seen.”
When she’s gone, he rubs his hands down his face and sags against the horse barn. His chest heaves with heavy breath, eyes shut tightly as though he’s seeing ghosts long gone.
Tommy didn’t have to imagine.
Sarah. Ellie.
“With you, I serve. With you, I fall down.”
Tess was more likely to be the answer. After all, Tommy knew his brother had feelings for the woman. She was rough around the edges, but Joel usually liked them that. He did back then, anyway. His first wife — a spider in every sense — was difficult to say the very least. Joel liked a challenge.
“Watch you breathe in. Watch you breathing out.”
You weren’t anything like them. This is why Tommy finds it so strange when Joel takes a moment to collect himself, clears his throat, and turns towards the horses like it never even happened.
“Almost lost her,” he mutters.
Yes. Tommy knew then. This wasn’t about Ellie. This wasn’t even about Sarah. He was no father figure to you.
This was different — you were different.

«This year, the Kaeya council will reunite exactly two times --- one in September, one in December. Until then, we wait». This... probably sounds more ominous than it is intended to. Good. Let them fear.

@steddiemas Day 30: Smut Themed Sentence Starters
I ended up using two sentences: "Who needs a sleigh ride when I can ride you instead" and "Is that a candy cane in your pocket, or are you just happy to see me?"
Tags: Established Relationship, Implied Smut, Bad Pick-Up Lines, Eddie Munson Is A Menace, Steve Harrington Is A Romantic
wc: 1345 | Rating: M
Read on ao3 | ao3 collection
Steve is a hopeless romantic.
Always has been and probably always will be.
Eddie pretends to hate it, but Steve knows the truth. That under all that leather and loud music is a giant teddy bear who swoons every time Steve shows up with a fresh bouquet of flowers or a pack of his favorite cigarettes from Melvalds.
Everyone else may be fooled, but not Steve.
Which is why Steve has to pull out all the stops for their first winter together as a couple.
He set the bar high last year when they were just friends and now he has to top it. Not because Eddie’s expecting it or anything, but because he wants to. Eddie deserves it. And honestly, so does Steve.
After watching hours of romantic holiday movies and driving around the local towns to see what winter activities they have to offer, Steve draws up the plan. He rents a small cabin two towns over where the snow is already two feet deep with more on the way and buys tickets to all the fun events the town has to offer. Well, almost all of the events. Ice skating is out of the question after last year’s incident left them both battered, bruised, and so sore they could barely get out of their own beds for the Hopper-Byers New Year’s Eve party.
So far, the vacation is everything Steve hoped it would be. They’ve played in the snow, eaten the best apple pie he’s ever gotten his hands on, and strolled around town whispering judgments about the over-the-top Christmas decorations people have outside their houses. They’ve also made themselves comfortable in the cabin — breaking in the bed and the couch and maybe even the indoor hot tub once or twice.
But today is the real showstopper. The grand finale to their little winter weekend getaway and the entire reason Steve booked this place in the first place.
They’re going on a reindeer-pulled sleigh ride through the picturesque snowy terrain of the town.
Or at least they’re supposed to be going on a reindeer-pulled sleigh ride.
“What do you mean you double booked?”
“It seems we accidentally scheduled you and another party for the two o’clock sleigh ride,” the woman behind the counter says. She’s older, graying hair pulled back in a neat bun and thin glasses falling down the bridge of her nose. Steve glares as her lips turn up in what is supposed to be an apologetic smile as she continues. “Since the other party included children, we assumed you wouldn’t mind giving up your spot for a refund.”
“Well, you assumed wrong,” Steve snaps, hands slamming down on the desk a bit more forceful than he had hoped. “You didn’t even give me a courtesy call to let me know of the cancelation.”
“We were just about to do that.”
“Bullshit! My reservation was scheduled for ten minutes ago. If you were going to call you would have done it the moment you realized your mistake.”
“I am sorry for the inconvenience Mr. Harrington but we only realized the error when the other family checked in early.”
“So if I was allowed to check in early like I tried to do, you would have let us keep our reservation?” Steve asks, growing more and more irritated by the second.
He and Eddie have been freezing their balls off for almost an hour now outside of the rustic shop. Even bundled up in their winter coats, beanies, and hand-knitted scarf and mitten set from Claudia hasn't been enough to keep them warm. It’s why he sent Eddie off in the direction of the hot chocolate stand while he tried to work his charm and get them into an earlier slot.
“Well, no, that’s not what I’m saying, but—“
“This is ridiculous,” Steve huffs, tugging at the hem of his scarf. “I booked this trip specifically for this sleigh ride and now you’re telling me I can’t go on it.”
“I understand your disappointment Mr. Harr—“
“Stop calling me that!” If there’s one thing Steve hates more than being unjustly inconvenienced it’s being referred to be his surname. He doesn’t need to be reminded of the man he shares his name with. Not now, not ever.
“Um, sorry…” the woman trails off and glances down at her schedule. “Steve. I can offer you a voucher for the trouble. Unfortunately, we are booked up for the rest of the week.”
“Keep the voucher and shove it,” Steve hisses before shoving himself away from the counter.
It takes him a minute to reign in his anger as he stomps his way toward Eddie. He’s sitting on a bench holding two cups of hot chocolate. Judging by the way his body shivers, they’re not doing much to keep him warm.
“Uh oh,” Eddie says, setting the cups aside when Steve gets closer. “I don’t like that frown.”
“Yeah, well, get used to it. Gladys over there fucked with our reservation,” Steve sneers, plopping down on the bench. “Said they doubled booked us and voided our reservation to give to some couple with kids because she “figured I wouldn’t mind.” Of course, I fucking mind!”
“Oh sweetheart,” Eddie sighs, tugging Steve until he’s tucked securely under his left arm. “M’sorry. She sounds like a bitch.”
“Those kids aren’t even going to remember the sleigh ride when they’re older! But we would have!”
Eddie nods in agreement, nuzzling his cheek into the soft cotton of Steve’s beanie. The contact is almost enough to extinguish Steve’s anger. Almost.
“Now the vacation is ruined.”
“And you say I’m a drama queen,” Eddie teases, pulling away and twisting on the bench to face Steve. He tucks one leg under him and lets the other dangle off the bench before joining their hands together as best he can given they’re still wearing mittens. “Our vacation is not ruined. It’s been fun. Maybe our best one yet.”
“Yeah, well it could have been even better.”
“Oh come on,” Eddie tsks, squeezing his hand. “Who needs a sleigh ride when I can ride you instead.”
“Eddie!” Steve gapes. He can feel what little heat is in his body crawling its way to his cheeks, turning them a bright shade of red if he had to guess.
“Or you could ride me,” Eddie says, before leaning forward. He gets his lips on the shell of Steve’s ear before continuing, “You know I’m not picky.”
Suddenly the blood rushing to his face takes a detour traveling down, down, down until it settles in his dick. Steve can feel it twitch at Eddie’s word and the feeling of his warm breath against his ear.
“You’re a menace.”
Eddie hums, glancing around to make sure no one is watching them before letting his hand drift to Steve’s lap. He moves slowly at first, teasing him until his hand finally settles on the apparent bulge in his pants.
“M’ you like it though, don’t ya big boy,” Eddie says, giving an experimental squeeze before pulling his hand away completely. When Steve looks up, he’s staring at him with those big round mischievous eyes of his. “Is that a candy cane in your pocket, or are you just happy to see me?”
Steve groans both in pleasure and in exasperation. He buries his head in the crook of Eddie’s neck for a moment before pulling away. “You just couldn’t help yourself, could you?”
“Hey, it put a smile on your face didn’t it.”
It did. Though, if he’s honest with himself, Eddie always puts a smile on his face. Even when he’s being an annoying, teasing, little shithead. Leaning forward to close the distance, Steve gives him a quick kiss on the lips before pulling away.
“Christ, your lips are freezing.”
“Better take me inside and warm me up.”
Steve gets himself on his feet before turning around to offer a hand to Eddie. “Come on then, I think I know just how to get you nice and warm, baby.”

Last Christmas
Tumblr media
A/N: Written for Vee's Holly Jolly Challenge. (@sstan-hoe).
Warnings: Attempts at coercion.
Prompts: Nick Fowler - the song Last Christmas. The lyrics included will be written in bold purple font.
Summary: You should've known better. Of course he's still in love with her.
Tumblr media
“What the hell is this,” Nick forcefully places the paperwork on your desk.
You look it over quickly and respond, “it’s my request for a transfer.”
“But why,” he seethes. His jaw is tight and his body is tense. He clearly feels betrayed but that just makes your own hurt feel more justified.
“Nick,” you sigh, “you really don’t remember what happened at the Christmas party last week?”
Nick crossed his arms, “I remember you and me doing a lot of kissing in my office. Would’ve taken you home if you didn’t run out on me. I thought we were solid. We’ve only been dating a couple weeks, but we’ve been friends for a lot longer.”
“You really don’t remember,” you shake your head as you fight the urge to cry. “When we were in your office, you called me by her name.” Nick freezes at that and you continue, “I also thought we were solid. Enough so that I gave you my heart. But when you can’t let go of her, I guess I was a shoulder to cry on and nothing more. Even if you don’t want it, I need this transfer for me. To save me from tears if nothing else.”
Nick grabs the paperwork and promises to get your transfer approved as he walks out, leaving your office colder than it was before.
Tumblr media
It’s been a few months and you’ve really settled into your work. You can definitely understand why the role of manager for the Research and Development Department has such a high turnover rate. Everyone working here requires a different management style, a different level of understanding and guidance. Most managers stick to one style for everyone, but that’s clearly not what’s needed here and you’ve really gotten the hang of what your researchers need from you.
One thing that everyone could agree on was that they needed more space so you were able to work out a construction contract. The first day you met the foreman, Hal Carter, you were taken aback. You’d bought into the stereotypes of construction guys being on the sexist side (catcalling and whatnot) but he was polite, never talked down to you and always took your concerns seriously. He was quite the flirt, though. Pretty much every woman at the office had been winked at and complemented to no end. But no HR complaints came from it so at your weekly updates you just asked him to be careful with your employees and left it there.
You were doing really well in your job, your new life, when the surprise inspection came. Led by Nick. One look and you knew you weren’t over him but you would keep your distance. Once bitten and twice shy you’d make sure to keep professional. Taking Nick and his team on the rounds, you were grateful for your employees helping you out. A crowded room, friends with tired eyes but they did their best to make sure you (and their funding) would continue.
After the inspection you practically ran to your office to catch your breath. You didn’t notice Nick following you.
“Are you hiding from me,” he asks quietly. His wintry-blue eyes boring into your soul.
“I’m hiding from you and your soul of ice,” you confess. “I ask you to give me distance, to get my heart right again, and then you just waltz right in without warning. I thought you were someone to rely on.”
“During the rounds, I kept my distance, but you still catch my eye.”
“I know what a fool I’ve been, but if you kissed me now, I know you’d fool me again.”
Nick walked towards you, moving in for the kiss that you weren’t sure you really wanted, but he was interrupted by Hal coming into the office with donuts and coffee.
“Oh, sorry,” Hal faltered. He looked at you, “I’d heard you had an inspection of some kind, figured you could use a pick-me-up. Goodness knows your cookies help me and the crew when the building inspectors come around.”
You smile warmly at him, grateful that he broke Nick’s spell over you. “Thank you, Hal! It’s just what I needed. Care to join me? Nick was just on his way out.”
Nick gave you an icy glare before walking out. As soon as you saw him walk out of the building, you allowed yourself to collapse into your office chair. Hal set down the food on your desk and admitted he had been listening to your conversation.
“I was going to wait until you were done with whatever meeting you were in, but I heard a few things that made me worry about you. Given your reaction, I’m guessing I was right about you needing some help?”
You nod appreciatively, sipping at the coffee. “Thank you, Hal. I almost made a serious mistake. Again.”
“I’m happy to help,” he assures. “You’re a good person and I like helping out good people.”
You snort, “given what I’ve seen and heard you just like helping out women.”
He gives you a shy half-smile, “that’s partially true. I like helping people smile, brightening their day. You never know when someone just needs a compliment to help them keep going. Yeah, I’m a huge flirt. Yeah, it’s nice for my own ego. But, for me, it’s just a way of being nice. Oh, and don’t worry about my ego getting too big. My crew helps me with that.” That last note makes you chuckle and you’re genuinely feeling more relaxed than you thought you would.
“Well,” you grinned, “you definitely helped me smile today. Thank you for that.”
Tumblr media
Around August the construction project was finally wrapping up. You knew several people who were going to miss Hal and his crew. Especially when they went shirtless for a minute or two in the summer heat. Even you would occasionally indulge, smiling shyly the times Hal caught you looking. Your face would heat up in embarrassment but he never judged you or made fun of you for it. You were really going to miss him and your weekly meetings.
It was at your last meeting with him when you noticed Hal acting fidgety, almost nervous. You ask him if he’s okay and gives you a shy smile you’ve never seen before.
“Um,” he starts, “I…well, with the construction done…I was, um, would…wouldyougooutwithme?”
You blink a few times, not fully sure of what’s going on. “Hal,” you hesitated, “are you asking me out on a date?”
Hal nods, “I didn’t wanna ask while we were kinda working together. You said you’d never date a coworker again and I didn’t want to risk being that. But getting to know you, I…I’d really like to take you out some time.” He still wasn’t able to meet your eyes.
“Why are you acting so shy?”
“Because flirting is one thing. Asking out someone that I genuinely want to be with? That’s…that’s scary stuff.” He looks into your eyes and you’re taken aback. You see the face of a lover with a fire in his heart. You see someone special.
“I’d love to go out with you.”
Tumblr media
It’s the company Christmas party and, despite the crowd, Nick has never felt more alone. He knows you’re going to be here and he keeps watching for you. You’re not hiding from him, but he doesn’t seem to see you. You’ve been doing well and coming into your own. You’ve received nothing but love and support from Hal. You’re finally getting the warmth and care you’ve needed and growing.
Nick seems to give up and walks to his office. You follow quietly. As the door clicks shut, his eyes shoot up and you give him a gentle smile.
“Do you recognize me? Well, it’s been a year, it doesn’t surprise me.”
“You look so beautiful,” he whispers. “More beautiful than I ever gave you credit for. Now I know what a fool I’ve been. I got you something. I wrapped it up and sent it with a note saying, “I love you”. Did you receive it?”
“Yes, Nick,” you smile sadly. “I got the necklace.”
“I want you to know, I meant it, when I wrote that.” His frosty blue eyes scan you, looking for the necklace, unsure of why you don’t look happy about the gift.
“You never actually listened to me,” you shake your head. “If you did, you’d know I never liked gold and diamonds. That was her.” You place the gift box on his desk and stand firm, “I need you to stop sending me gifts and notes like this. Now I’ve found a real love, you’ll never fool me again.”
“But-” Nick tries to respond, you see genuine sadness and loneliness but you stop him before he can try to get you to cave.
“Last Christmas I gave you my heart,” you shake your head, putting a hand between the two of you so he can’t get closer. “You tore me apart. But I’ve healed and grown past. Maybe you should try that as well.”
With that, you turned around and left his office. A year ago you fled the room in tears. Now you’re walking out with your head held high. Last year you were left cold and shaken. Now you’re surrounded by warmth and comfort.

You drew stars (around my scars) - Part 2
BONUS SCENE (from this little one)
They dropped the Hellfire members at their respective front doors and then they drove to Loch Nora. The ride to Steve’s house was quiet. Eddie worried his bottom lip, glancing at Steve every now and then, thinking that maybe something happened between him and Mike (Eddie saw the two of them having what looked like the most awkward conversation ever) and if it were his fault, if he overstepped. Was Mike being a little shit again?
“How’s Super Star?” Eddie asked, ice-breaker.
“Growing too fast. She’s learning subtractions now, and she can spell all our names correctly. Look.” Steve took out from his pocket a folded piece of paper with some names in childish calligraphy.
“Oh, your name has little stars around,” Eddie teased, grinning softly. “Please, tell me that you did not charm another Wheeler.”
Steve huffed a laugh. “More like she charmed me.”
Eddie waited. When he saw Steve looking at his knees with a soft and sad smile, he knew that he had something to say.
“What’s wrong, big boy?”
Eddie pulled over at Steve’s driveway, and they both unfastened their belts.
“We were playing, fooling around, you know and she—um, she lifted my shirt.”
Oh.
Oh.
“I’m sorry, baby. Are you okay?”
Steve looked at him and smiled. He lifted the shirt slightly, showing him his all painted over belly. His eyes were glassy.
“She thinks they’re pretty. Says they are stars.”
Eddie looked at Steve’s stomach open mouthed, smiling.
“They do look like stars, though.”
“Yeah, right? I didn’t notice before.”
Looking down, with a smile on his lips, Steve mumbled. “I guess they’re pretty.”
Eddie looked him in the eyes, cupping his face.
“You’re pretty. Always were, always will.”
Steve kissed him once, twice.
They climbed out of the van and went to Steve’s front door.
“By the way, did you say something to Mike?” Steve asked.
“Me? Why, what happened?” Eddie played dumb, Steve deadpanned, keys in hand.
“He was super weird, I think he tried to apologize. And I know you threatened Dustin, so I was wondering if this change of attitude came because of another threat.”
Eddie smiled impishly, dimples showing.
“My bad.”
“Eddie, we talked about this, you can’t go threatening kids around. Besides, I really wished you didn’t.”
“Wait, what? Why?” Eddie crossed his arms, staring at Steve. Steve smirked.
“Because I might have been training Super Star for a few months now to fuck with him, as a little revenge. She hides things from him, she takes his alarms off, you know, little pranks like those. If he starts treating me nice now, I’m gonna feel bad.”
Eddie’s mouth hung open.
“You are the reason he keeps running late everywhere, and losing every dice set he buys?” Eddie almost shouted, all dramatic. Steve stared at him, opening the front door.
“Wait until he finds out about the D&D figurines.”
Steve disappeared inside the house. Eddie was frozen in the spot. From his place, Eddie saw Steve holding the piece of paper with magnets in the fridge, with a fond smile. “Steve Harrington, you’re the devil! Please, marry me and let’s have twenty kids!”

Jack Daniels had only been in love once in his life. She’d been his high school sweetheart. He never did figure out how he’d won her heart, but he had. They were going to get married and she’d been pregnant, a baby boy. Then it was all ripped away from him. He’d stood in the cemetery and watched them lower her into the ground along with his heart. Buried six feet under. He swore that day, when he turned his back to her grave, that he was also turning his back on love. He was done with the silly four letter word, that meant nothing but heartbreak. It was hard at first especially seeing his parents, knowing their story. It was a beautiful one, one people wrote books about but Jack just supposed that life wasn’t for him.
He fooled around of course. He still found women ridiculously attractive, and sometimes it was just too hard not to try and charm his way in. He would flirt until he found the perfect girl, who just wanted a little fun for the night. By the morning he was long gone. It got lonely sometimes, but when it did Jack would imagine himself right back at that grave. It was a reminder to not get attached, not to fall in love. He couldn’t do that again. He wouldn’t live through it a second time.
He sat now at a local, small town bar, which had pulled in a crowd not long after he’d arrived. He was nursing his second whiskey, turned around on his barstool watching the crowd as it grew. This was his usual Friday night routine, when he wasn’t working. He would come here and wait for the ideal woman and then make his move. Tonight was busier than usual which, Jack didn’t mind at all. The bit of sunlight remaining suddenly broke through the dim lighting, and Jack turned his head to see who was walking in. That’s when his eyes fell on you.
*Your POV*
You couldn’t believe your best friend had dragged you here. Actually you could. She was strong willed, and didn’t take no for an answer much. You’d rather be sitting at home, binge watching a show and eating your weight in ice cream.
“Oh come on. Let’s get you drunk and laid.” Your best friend looped her arm within yours.
“I’m not the one getting over a dick of an ex. I’ll pass.”
“You still need to get laid honey. You’re too cranky.”
“I am not! I’m perfectly fine. Plus there’s not a single guy in here who would look twice at me.”
“Tell that to Burt Reynolds sitting at the bar.”
You glanced over and sure enough, a man who looked like a younger version of Bandit himself, had his brown eyes on you. You felt your face heat as you turned away.
  “He’s probably looking at you.”
“Oh honey. He’s not looking at me. Come on, let’s get a booth and I’ll get our first round.”
You rolled your eyes but let her drag you along to a booth. This was going to be a long night.
*Jack’s POV*
Jack watched you, as your friend dragged you to a booth reluctantly. You were beautiful. Honestly one of the most beautiful women he’d ever laid eyes on. Something about the fact that you obviously didn’t want to be here, just piqued his interest even more. A little more liquid courage and he would go make his move. He watched your friend walk over, confidence so clear on her face. She leaned on the bar calling out to the bartender, placing her order. Two whiskey’s on the rocks. Then she turned to Jack.
“Hey tell me, where you looking at me or my gorgeous friend over there when we walked in?”
“No offense against you darlin’ but definitely your friend.”
“Oh no offense taken. You’re definitely her type. I just wanted to prove that I was right.”
She grabbed her drinks and Jack smirked.
“I’ll add more to your case here in just a minute.”
“You better be nice to her. I have a black belt and I’ll kick your ass.”
  “I’ll be the perfect gentleman.”
Jack chuckled at your friend’s protectiveness over you. It just made him wonder more about you. Jack realized then, that this was the first time he wanted to actually get to know a woman in a long time. He pushed it away, trying to focus on just getting you in bed, before he downed the rest of his drink and got up. He weaved through the crowd, keeping his eyes on you. Your friend said something to you and you turned, your eyes growing wide before you spun back around, your face turning red. Jack couldn’t help but to think it was cute. Luckily you had just finished your drink, and it gave him the perfect excuse to speak to you.
“Can I buy you ladies another round?” He spoke as he leaned on the table.
“You can buy her another round,” your friend spoke and Jack smirked as his eyes went from her to you.
“Uh yeah. Yeah I’ll take another…”
  “Whiskey on the rocks?”
“Um…yeah,” you spoke slowly your eyebrow knitting together in confusion.
“I’ll be right back.” Jack smacked the table before turning away.
He ordered two drinks for you and himself before making his way back over.
  “May I join you?”
“By all means.” This time you spoke and slid over, making room for him.
“Names Jack. I’ve seemed to have forgotten my manners.”
“Oh (Y/N),” you spoke giving him a shy smile.
Your friend introduced herself, and then her eyes darted to someone in the crowd and gave a flirty wave. She excused herself, your eyes burning a hole in her as she went. Jack moved to the other side so he was facing you.
“I see you were dragged here against your will.” Jack spoke and you pinched your nose between two of your fingers.
“What gave it away?” The way you looked at him was full of embarrassment, but a smile still pulled at your lips.
“A guy just knows,” Jack smirked as he leaned back, his arm draping across the back of his seat. “Not your usual scene then?”
“Not really. I went through a very small stage where it was, but it didn’t last long. It ended in heartbreak so I’m safer at home in front of my tv.”
“Ah come on. You gotta have fun every once in awhile.”
“I guess I’ve had all my fun.”
Jack felt his stomach sink slightly but he’d dealt with this before.
“Oh sugar I promise you haven’t.”
“What makes you say that?” You raised a brow, challenge in your voice.
“Because you haven’t been with me yet.”
“You sure are confident,” you chuckled lightly.
“That I am. I ain’t ashamed of it.”
“Definitely nothing to be ashamed of. I wish I had an ounce of it.”
“You should. You’re a beautiful woman.”
You looked down at the table your face once again red.
  “Thank you.”
  “You don’t believe me.”
“It’s just…I don’t have the best record so…” your voice trailed off and Jack felt his heart clench.
He wanted to make you feel like the most beautiful woman on earth. He wanted you to believe it. It was now a mission of his, and he never left a mission unsuccessful. Jack slid out of his seat, and he watch your face fall slightly.
“May I pull you to the dance floor sugar?” He reached his hand out and he saw a smile pull at your lips.
“Yes you may.” You grabbed his hand, and he pulled you out of the booth and out onto the dance floor.
A fast pace song was playing at the moment, so Jack spun you around and the two of you joined in on a little line dancing, before the song shifted to something slower. Jack pulled you close, his hands on your hips and yours wrapped around his neck. He watched you look around the bar, and he knew you were trying not to meet his eyes. He reached up and his finger brushed at your chin, moving your head until your eyes met his. You looked over his face, your eyes stopping briefly at his lips. He quirked an eyebrow and you gave him a soft nod. Jack dipped his head and his lips met yours. The entire world disappeared. It was just you and Jack. He felt something shoot through him, and it only made him kiss you deeper. He felt your fingers lace in the hair at the nape of his neck. You kissed him back with equal fever, and it made Jack wonder if you had felt the same as him. He never wanted to stop kissing you. He could stand here until the day he died, attached to your lips. He had to get you out of here, now. He pulled away and looked down at you. You were panting and searching his eyes. He could tell you were having a battle with yourself. You pulled him down, your lips brushing at his ear and pulling a shiver through him.
“Take me home Jack,” your words were intoxicating and Jack gulped before nodding.
You pulled him along to tell your friend where you were going. He could only let out a soft chuckle at the high five the two of you shared, before you all but pulled him out the door. Jack took the initiative then, and pulled you to his car. He opened the door for you and you slid in. He was quick to round the front and climb in, buckling and driving off. There was a comfortable silence, full of the tension that hung between you and Jack, as he drove as fast as he could without breaking the law. Your knee bounced rapidly, and Jack knew you were probably feeling the same excitement he was.
Jack noticed far too late that he’d pulled into his driveway. He hadn’t even thought to ask you where you lived. He’d just driven straight here. Another sign he was off his usual game. Deep down, he already knew why. He shook his head slightly trying to clear his thoughts, to focus. The two of you filed out of his car, and he was quick getting the front door open. As he shut it, he moved to cage you between him and it. You were both panting, and he smirked, before he was kissing you again. Damn your lips, your kiss could make him drunk like he had several bottles of whiskey. You moaned against his lips and he shuddered. Your hands traveled over his shirt, and soon he felt his jacket fall to the ground. He was quick to get rid of yours, before he wrapped his arms around you and pulled you close. One hand stayed secured around you, flat against your back, while the other traveled down to your ass. He gave you a quick squeeze, and with a gasp against his lips, you jumped circling your legs around his waist.
The two of you stayed there for several moments, never coming up for air, you pressed between the door and Jack. He let out a breath through his nose, and pulled away reluctantly. Your eyes fluttered opened and you panted. Jack’s breathing was rapid as well, and he gazed at you.
“Please tell me you want to,” his voice betrayed him as it came out slightly hoarse.
“More than anything,” you breathed, your voice not even going above a whisper.
That was all Jack needed, before he pulled you back to his lips, his kiss hungrier than before, as he walked through his house and to his room. He kept you close still with one arm, as the other caught him as he laid you down on the bed and hovered over you. You kept your arms secured around him but your legs slowly fell away, spread wide for him to stay between. He kept himself propped slightly letting his other hand wonder. He his slipped under your shirt and then under the wire of your bra letting his thumb brush across your already hard nipple. It pulled a moan from Jack’s lips and he sat up slightly bringing you with him. His lips parted from yours as he quickly pulled your shirt over your head and discarding it somewhere in the room. Lips back on yours he soon tossed your bra away too. Then he finally let his lips drop and start to wander across your body. Your skin was soft and you smelled so good, that once again Jack could only think about how he never wanted to leave this moment. He kept his kisses feather light as he explored you, finding all the places that made you moan. He noted them carefully, before he finally moved to your breast. He pulled your left nipple between his fingers and pinched slightly. At the same time he pulled your right one between his lips and flicked the hard bud with his tongue. You let out a loud moan, your back arching into him and Jack smirked at himself. He flicked once more as he pulled and then was gone. He was quick to repeat the process on the opposite breast. You, once again, beautifully responding to him. He started to make his way down your stomach, until he came to the top of your jeans. He leaned up slightly, undoing your button and zipper slowly. He glanced up at you and you let out a whimper in a plea. Jack felt his cock twitch at the sight and sound.
He pulled your jeans away, along with your underwear and let them fall to the floor. He stood then, still stationed between your legs and looked down at you fully bare for him now. You were beautiful, no that wasn’t even the right word. There wasn’t one that accurately described you. Jack knew he was in so much trouble. His eyes that had racked over your body, now met yours, that still had a plea held in them. Your pupils blown, your lips swollen. It was truly a sight. He kept his eyes on yours as he removed his shirt and didn’t bother with his jeans yet as he kelt between your legs. He wound his arms around your legs, flatting his hands on your thighs to keep your legs open. The sight before him made him lick his lips. You wiggled and let out another desperate whimper, that sent Jack reeling. He dove, his tongue licking up your slit, and you let out the most beautiful noise Jack had ever heard in his life. You tasted incredible and it sent Jack into overdrive. He kept going, sucking and licking at your clit. He felt his hat knock off from his head, and your fingers in his hair pulling slightly.
“Jack,” you panted out, pulling slightly harder and he looked up at you still giving your clit little flicks with his tongue.
“Please…I want to feel you…inside me,” you begged and Jack smirked.
He reluctantly pulled his mouth away from you and stood. You sat up your feet hanging from the bed, as he watched you undo his pants. He helped you shove his jeans and underwear down, and before Jack could think to make a move you had his cock in your hand. You were quick to take him into your mouth, and it was so unexpected it took Jack a moment to catch up. His hand laced in your hair and he pulled ever so slightly, pulling a moan from you around his cock. He let out a hiss and closed his eyes, letting himself get lost in how good your mouth felt on him. He pushed his heavy lids open, looking down at you and it was such a beautiful sight, it was so hard for Jack to stop you. He pulled you up to him and kissed you deeply. The both of you seemed to moan in unison at tasting each other on your lips. He lightly pushed you back once again, and hovered over you. He pulled away, his forehead falling to yours as he glanced down and lined himself up with your dripping entrance, before he pushed in. He made himself go slow trying to take in how you felt as you opened for him. He buried his head in your neck as he finally filled you completely, and it was like the perfect puzzle pieces coming together.
“Fuck,” you whined and that sent Jack into a frenzy.
He pulled out and then snapped his hips forward, letting out a moan at the feeling. He did this a few more time, pulling moans and curses from you before he set a quicker pace. The room filled with the noises coming from the both of you. Jack tried so hard to be quiet, so he could hear ever last little sound you made. He wanted to hear them for the rest of his life. He wanted to spend every spare second he had pulling them from you. You felt so good around him and he swore he had never been with anyone that felt this perfect. It was making him climb his high, quickly.
“I’m so close,” you suddenly whimpered out.
“Let go for me sugar,” Jack spoke in a horse voice.
You snapped and clutched at him like a vice. It was enough for him to follow you. He drilled deep inside of you, and you milked him. He let out a groan as he buried his face in your neck. Your fingers came up and ran lazily through his hair. The two of you stayed like that for awhile, until you’d come back down to earth. Jack pulled out of you and gently laid down next to you. You turned on your side and he did the same, the two of you looking at each other.
“You were right,” you spoke after a few moments and Jack’s eyebrow quirked.
  “About what sugar?”
“That was a lot of fun. The most fun I’ve had in awhile,” you smirked and Jack felt his heart jump slightly.
“I must say it was the most fun I’ve had as well sugar. You’re breathtaking,” the last few words fell from his lips in a whisper as he reached out and brushed away hair that was stuck to your face.
His fingers lingered as they softly brushed down your face, and he watched your eyes close and lean into his touch.
“Let me clean you up and we can get some sleep. That is, if you want to stay?” Jack had sat up and he paused looking back at you.
“Yeah I think I would like that,” you looked up at him and he smiled as did you.
He cleaned you up gently, and the two of you settled into bed. Jack pulled you close and watched as you slipped to sleep before he soon followed.
The sun pouring into the bedroom window pulled Jack from the most blissful sleep he could recall having. He turned his head to look at you, and my god how beautiful you were. You were still peacefully asleep. Your breathe was even and the sun danced over you. Jack watch you for awhile weighing these feelings that were creeping up on him. He knew deep down no matter how hard he tried not to, love was going to creep back up on him one day. Looking at you in his bed next to him he could feel it. He gently and slowly crawled out of bed, slipping on some pajama pants before padding to his kitchen. He turned on the radio and turned the volume low letting old classic rock and country music fill the silence. He started in on fixing you breakfast, silently praying that you would want to stay for it.
“I must've been through about a million girls
I'd love 'em and I'd leave 'em alone
I didn't care how much they cried, no sir
Their tears left me cold as a stone”
The familiar lyrics of a song filled the air around Jack, and he found himself smiling to himself. He moved around the kitchen and then he caught you leaning against the doorframe, hair ruffled and nothing but his shirt hanging on your figure. He knew in that moment, one glance at you, eyes catching yours. Both of your faces breaking out into smiles. The lyrics of the song rang true. Jack Daniels had fooled around and fell in love.

Your mom starts dating Ari, and when you first meet him he’s overly sweet. You hate because deep down you secretly love it. But when he does things like take you both out for icecream and he has them add sprinkles and you fuss that you’re not a damn baby, you’re a grown woman and he just condescendingly ignores you by patting your head or your thigh. He escalates, buying you cute summer dresses and trying to brush your hair. You keep fighting him until one day the two of you physically tussle as he tries to make you were a dress with matching knee highs. You end up over his lap he spanks you and tells you to be a good girl. Taunting what a dumb baby you are and how much you need him.
No but why is the idea of Ari forcing you to wear cute dresses and lacy socks and brush your hair so hot? Like yes please daddy take care of me!! Make me into your little baby girl idec

“LET GO OF ME, YOU PSYCHOPATH!” You yell, trying to claw, scratch and bite your way out of your stepdad’s grip. But Ari is so much bigger and stronger than you, easily holding you down with you bent over his muscular thighs, panties pulled down and your ass already burning from the spanking you’re currently receiving.
You’re in college. A grown woman bent over your stepdad’s lap while he spanks your bare ass. Your reality makes you want to scream with frustration.
“Now honey, don’t take that tone with me.” Ari scolds, large hand rubbing over your sore ass, squeezing one ass cheek lewdly before leaning down to press a kiss on your sizzling skin, “You don’t want mommy to find out that you’ve been disrespecting your daddy, do you?”
“You’re not my daddy.” You spit out with contempt. But you know there’s no use telling him otherwise. It all started when Ari first married your mom and moved in. He was normal at first, albeit always talking to you in a condescending tone as if you were a baby.
But then things escalated. He started taking you on shopping trips. “Daddy and daughter bonding time” he’d told your mother. He insisted on buying you the frilliest, most babyish, girly clothes and shoes. And then your normal jeans and tops started disappearing from your closet.
And it’s other things Ari does. How he insists you sit on his lap while you guys watch TV (your mom thinks it’s innocent) or the way he buys you ice cream cones with sprinkles and insists on wiping your mouth when you’re done. How he wants to help you put your shoes on, insisting you’re a little baby who doesn’t know how to do it herself.
“Why can’t you just be a good little girl?” Ari sighs, giving your ass another hard slap when you try to wiggle off him again, “Daddy buys you all these pretty things and you still insist on being so unthankful. Look how cute these socks are, and this dress too. You’d look so adorable, baby.”
“No fucking way!” You cry out when he slaps your ass again. Once, twice, three times before rubbing his palm over the sore skin.
“Now honey, I know putting clothes on can be difficult and confusing sometimes. I know it’s too much for your little baby brain to handle, and that’s okay, baby. That’s why you have daddy to help you.”
Ari pulls you upright till you’re sitting on his lap, ignoring your pleas and cries and cusses as he runs his hands up and down your arms and presses a soft kiss to your cheek before patting it condescendingly.
“And look, today daddy bought you a pretty bow that matches your dress. You should be thanking me, baby. Who else buys you so many pretty gifts and dotes on you so much? Even when you’re so unthankful, you’re still my little girl who I love very much.”
Ari has got everyone fooled, with his good looks and charm. Your mother thinks he’s the perfect stepdad, doting and loving for having accepted you as his daughter. Little does she know that he leaves her bed at night and comes into yours, teaching you all about “big girl sex” and making you scream so loud while he presses your face into the pillow.
In fact, the only times you can stand Ari is when he’s fucking you. Despite hating him, he’s made you addicted to his cock and the way it feels inside you. But that doesn’t mean you agree with the rest of his depraved bullshit… including dressing you up as his personal doll and treating you like you’re a baby.
“Please just stop it, Ari!” You hiss, not knowing whether to cry and accept your fate or to keep fighting against him, “Don’t make me wear that stupid dress, please!”
“Don’t use bad words, honey.” Ari warns, ignoring everything else you’ve said, “Or you’ll earn yourself another spanking. And you know mommy’s downstairs and she’ll hear you scream if I spank you again. And you don’t want mommy to hear what a bad girl you’re being right now, do you?”
At a loss, all you can do is cry into his big, beefy chest; burying your head into him and trying to ignore how much bigger he is than you.
“That’s right baby. You better keep that pretty mouth of yours shut and let me dress you up. Daddy wants to fuck you while you’re wearing the new dress I bought you. And remember the rule during big girl sex: you only scream into the pillow — you don’t want mommy hearing you fuck her husband, do you?”
AHHHH IDK WHAT THIS WAS AKXNSJSJ
