When everybody warned you about men using women for their body but nobody warned you that women can do the exact same because “women wouldn’t do that to each other”…
I once had a girl tell me she only saw women as toys. Something sexual that could never be romantic or genuinely cared about. And I didn’t question it solely because she was also a woman.
This is your reminder that someone being a woman does not automatically make them a good person or mean they have good intentions. Women can be misogynistic. Sometimes more so than men. Don’t let them being a woman distract you from reality.

Born to be a housewife/sahm giving my kids the happy childhood I always wished for, forced to go through school first.
(I just know someone is gonna twist the meaning of this so if it’s not obvious: I literally just mean I’m tired of school and want my dream life faster).

“If you want to be a housewife you’re a victim of the patriarchy!”
Oh just wait until they find out I’d do the exact same for a woman.

It’s okay not to know everything.
It’s okay to want to be a housewife some day and not have every skill required right now.
You have time to learn. Even if you’re already in a relationship that just gives you more practice.
I may be 17 and everyone else my age may know how to do household tasks like cooking or laundry… But that doesn’t mean I can’t still learn them.
My family refused to teach me life skills so they could call me incompetent and keep me living with their abuse for longer because “you’d never survive on your own”.
You’re allowed to learn things later than others.
There is no timeline to life.
You are your own individual. You do not need to understand things at the same pace as anybody else. You have your own reasons for not knowing these things. Don’t worry about what other people know.

Wanting a man to provide for you doesn’t mean you’re incapable. Of course you’re capable. But it’s nice to have someone help you and take of you. That doesn’t mean you can’t do those things yourself. That just means someone loves you enough to make your life that bit easier <3

I want to be a stereotypical girl.
I want 90% of my closet and room decor to be pink. I want to wear cute aprons and bake cookies. I want to wear cute bows in my hair. I want to do my makeup on a random day when I’m not going anywhere just because it’s fun and makes me feel pretty. I want to wear cute dresses and cute shoes. I want to take bubble baths that smell like roses. I want to wear pretty jewelry on regular days just because I can. I want to spend my nights watching old Disney princess movies like Snow White and Sleeping Beauty. I want to play in the snow and then drink hot chocolate under a cozy blanket with a teddy <3

“New year new me”
Habits I want to pick up and stick to in 2024:
Sunday night baths
Weekend bible study
Doing my makeup every time I leave the house
Taking time each day to do something I genuinely enjoy (play a game, watch a movie/show, colour, etc)
Journaling at least once a week
Drinking enough water every day
Cleaning my room every weekend
Showering every day or every second day
Taking time each day for language study
Wearing what I like instead of what I think other people will approve of
