Someone I know is trying to get away from a bad situation here is their message:
Hello. I hate to ask but I am in a bind. The situation is that I had been unlawfully evicted at the end of last year and have been in court to fight that.
Recently I found a house in NC that was for rent and I managed to apply and get approved for it, and paid all my deposits (about $2300 all told) this past week. Unfortunately I have to wait several days to move in as the owner is a marine getting ready to deploy. In addition, the person who has been letting me graciously stay with her has gone out of town for a week. As such, my dog and I had to find a hotel to get into for a few days.
Unfortunately my paypal doesn't have enough funds left after the deposits and so I am asking for help. I am literally sitting outside a hotel right now with nowhere else to go, so help would be appreciated.
If you can help, the easiest way is via PayPal ([email protected] is my PayPal email) or cashapp which is $ROFaudiowerks.
Thank you very much for your assistance. I am trying to get a couple hundred dollars for a hotel room, but any amount is appreciated.

More lore on the Nine Realms is up for reading on my Patreon now!
"Children of the Three; Five Lineages birthed by war, tribulation, and innovation. The Divine, Fate, Wyld, Cunning, and Shadow; they who bear the ichor of the gods."
-Prayer of the Fifth Temple
Multitudes populate the Nine Realms. From the Snake Haired folk of the Wyrmsong Isles to the massive giant folk of the Seastrider Tribe. No matter what their shape and form, no matter what form the sophont they are Fae. Only those who bear the blood of the Three can call themselves as such. While humanoid forms can be found among the flora and fauna of the Nine, they are merely imitations. Entities using the form to lure in prey so they can feed.
The term "Fae" itself is taken from the old Faerish words "Fé" and "Férhu". The first meaning "Fate" and the second "Fated One". A reference to the ancestral blood of the Three; Lord Fire, Lady Ice, and Sovereign Fate, which beats in them all.
Learn about the Five Lineages (or species). From the Giant elemental Elder Fae to the young undead Spectral! I post lore on my fantasy world, Altear, regularly on Patreon and on my Discord.

Kalevala lay in ruins, the Banners of House Kryze and the memories of Satine were erased. Standing there, her body heavy with exhaustion and expended rage, Qwynn removed her helmet. The free air struck her as the harsh brine of the sea filted into the wind.
"Where is Lady Bo-Katan?" she asked.
"We are unsure, " said one of her guards, the black and silver of her armor relaying their direct allegiance. Only the closest vassals could claim direct membership to wear the Clan's colors.
"By the greenglass of Sundari's ruins," Qwynn growled, "We will find our Manda'lor!"

The Mandalorian S3E4 | Chapter 20 - The Foundling
*Sighs as her HUD connects to the holonet* We open Chapter 19 with the Creed be reciting by a foundling. With the memries of the Mythosaur and the acceptance of the Scion of a Fallen House.
The massive rugged planet the folk of the Tribe have built is filled with dozens of training warriors. Why do the warriors train so hard, when they aren't building their clans nor are they preparing for war. This makes me wonder if the Tribe has become a sort of ascetic last vestige. As everyone fights Grogu pulls up a little crustacean with a rock.
He then sets down the baby in front of a fucking tween. And the kid decides he's going to get a lesson from Baby Yoda. yup, as the training darts are taken, the small little blaster and Bo decides she's now mom. I like that they aren't judging him for his species, but his size. The bigger kid nails the kid twice in the chest, and decides its time for the force.
Heh.
is this the future of the Mandalorians, a multispecies people. Like they are in the legends.
A massive pterosaur like thing pops out from a cliff and snags the foundling. The older Mando'ade give chase and we get this seriously awesome chase scene. The jumpacks have limited range, and thus they have likely lost many kids to that thing. The Vizla even says "It always gets away."
Luckily, Bo's warship can easily keep pace with the monster so she definitely is changing things up for the tribe. Paz Vizla seems likely he's not really grown up or experienced the Homeworld. I say this because we see that even he heistates on the height of the mountains. Bo counters that she trained in such things, so I think this is another good example of differing backgrounds.
Our Armorer takes Grogu into the forge and shows him as she pours a new ingot of beskar. She explains the cult's viewpoint that through adversity they improve. As the metal she works for a ship pounds we see Grogu frown and scared. He is remembering the attack of the Temple. The clones coming in to execute order 66. Knights and Guardians fall around him as we are pulled further into this PTSD flaskback.
He exits the lift and a jedi greets him and defends against several troopers. As more blaster fire flies our guard jumps on a swoopbike to flee. As we watched the enemy hawk creature fleet and is chased by the Mando'ade the Jedi flies through the canyons of Coruscant's skyways. It seems that season 3 is going to focus a lot of Dichotomy.
We see Pershing and Elia, and now we are learning more and more about Grogu as a person. His fears, and how he has dealt with the trauma of the fall of the Jedi Order. Hell we even get the Jedi swiping pass tht one mountain that Pershing touched in Chapter 18.
"Hold on it's going to be a bumpy landing."
The Jedi hits a floating starport hard, just as he passes a Naboo cruiser. The silvery exterior screams Nabo, and the brave Soldiers defend him further as the Empire's fist approaches. The pounding the harm snaps little Grogu back from the flashback as it's just the Armorer working the metal. He smalls after frowning, has he found a sense of easy.
Turns out that Grogu was getting a present, and he get's a round chest piece with the Mudhorn clan embelm. Fuck that was a great little subplot.
Now, back to Bo and her determination to save the foundling. Momm Bo is ready, she leads her strike-team like any longtime leader. A quick glance at the part reeals another woman with similar armor design and markings. Perhaps a former Nite Owl? The massive mesas and karst that make up this plant definitely portrays something akin to the wild west. Paz being our resident Vizla is here to be a challenger.
"You are the leader of the war-party."
She is left alone as they all recede into the darkness and we see her face clear of the helmet. Her face is riddled with indecision and disquiet. And yes, I like disquiet as a word, so sue me.
They smother their fire and Bo gives out the attack plan. Scaling the cliffface they use their grapples and their own strength to do the rest. I can see how the covert has trained these Mandalorians, but they haven't had Bo's conditioning. She is definitely higher up in the challenge. Well, there is also Din and Paz who are holding both her flanks.
They find the nest and slowly veer off in an inverse v-formation. Paz is the first it seems to reach the top, he is struggling, his heavy gun and armor likely holding himdown. Wht we see is a massive nest filled with Mandalorian helmets. And even more so stolen beskar. Paz rushes in to save the kid who turns out to be his son, as he calls out Ragnar's name the heat signature proves to be hatchlings.
Paz watches in horror as his son is coughed up by our annoying raptor. He saves his kid by literally flying into the creatures mout and wedging it open with his chest piece. The Mando'ade give chase and Paz falls, this leaves the other members of the war-party to take out the beast. So quick words on this thing.
These monsters are not stupid enough I think to understand that the Mando'ade are harmful targets, and ye he keeps eating them. So if you feel bad for the monster and its babys, remember it's been eating Mando kids for a while now. Enough that there were more than one or two helmets there.
They return, the creature dead, and Ragnar in two with his father. Clan Vizla has a new scion and Grogu watches as they all greet the party home. She brings in the hatclings which fits. The Mandlorians use to be beasttamers, and it's good to see the covert accepting her. She gets a new pauldron and she asks for it to be marked by the Mythosaur.
Yes, she will be Mand'alor, and she will revive the Clans! I love that the Armorer greets her and then seemingly tells her that the Mythosaur we all saw was in her head, or was a religious vision.
OKAY!
Gay Canon
Seriously, I am now shipping the Armorer as opposing forces. Yeah, so fucking sue me!
Or maybe Bo, Ahsoka and Barris.
Hottake:
Grogu trying to eat another poor animal reminds us that Grogu is a predator species. Remember those eggs?
Bo got a great arc this story, I like how we are getting more and more hints of how she's likely a form of cultural folk hero.
Paz Vizla being nice to both Din after saving his kid and his respect.
Holy fuck Grogu's escape was definitely a high octane thrill-ride of a nightmare. That kid has some serious PTSD. I am so happy he got a chest piece.
Glad to see that the Mandlorian's are accepting of multi-species Clans.
The Armorer said, "your House", makes me think that there are still elements of House Kryze out there.
Where is Clan Wren though, where IS Sabine?
Ths Mythosaur is going to be a big deal in the finale isn't it.

Qwynn settled herself, the armor felt strange as she removed her helmet and stared at a small piece of green glass. It appeared to be sea glass, but any sensor would reveal its partial radioactivity. Glass creauted in the fire of genocide and a dying world.
"My lady, we should make for Kalevala,' Qwynn heard one of her guardsmen. As members of her small Clan they were her warriors-at-arms, and just as he spoke, she made her decision.

Episode 1 | Chapter 17: The Apostate
We are reminded of the interactions from Season 2 of Mando and the end of the Book of Boba. Din Djarin is no longer a Mandalorian creed as stated by the Armor. Onlly the holy waters of Mandalore itself can return his status as a member of the Mando'ade.
We open on a scene where the Armorer is prearing a pice of Beskar, a mythosaur skull hangs above her work. She appears to be forging a new helmet, has someone else joined the Children of the Watch. Is this a sign for the coming of the new Manda'lor? Several other Mandlorians in full armor wait outside holding banners showcasing various Clan and House banners. This appears to be Din's past as a joined. As there are two Mandorlians there with Clan Krize markings.
I wonder if this kid is Din, the helmet color seems off.
"This is the way. "
We hear more about the Creed and the oath one takes to never remove their helmet. As the kid swears to never remove the helmet a massive crocodilian like creature comes attack. It eats one guarian and the younglings flee as the various warriors open blaster fire. They take to the sky and land atop it to attack, only the Mandoade are this skilled and brave. As several detonators go off we watch  one mando tossed hard against the rock as others unleash their grapples. The Creature is held as more ar injured. Is THIS a mythosaur or some other great crature.
It looks like a massive crocodilian mixed with a turtle with the huge carpace scutes on its back. The armor joins the fray to rescue a downed warrior and is tossed by the attack. Our little youngling stands over her facin down the creature as the Clan Visla member shoots.
A massive bolt hits it and we see the Naboo Speeder. This is not a memory, this is the Tribe! They have started inducting more foundlings and Din of the Mudhorn clan is there with Grogu. Back inside the forge we see the Armorer beneath the mythosaur. The Armor berates Din for actions and as he talks of redemption. He gives her a relect and they speak of the Purge. He states his intentions to find the hiddne waters and be redeemed.
Again, we see how religious ferocity can help with hope, but can also cause unnecessary issues. But, as a door closes another opens. Din jumps to a hyperspeed route heading to the ancient home of all Mando'ade. In the shadow of Concord Dawn, and the sands of mandalore he will find solace. Grogu watches the stream of hyperspace as a strange almost squid shaped form appears.
is that one of the weird hyperspace whales from rebels. And yup, its them. Seeing them in a more realistic portrayal makes them far more ominous than friendly as they were before. Upon reaching a planet (which I think is the primary one from season 2) we see a modest outpost and starport. This place, Neavarro reminds m more of Tytho in Season 2, and is definitely rough. But it has plenty of greenery with a touch of dry sun.
Grogu floats around and we see many animals including monkey-lizards. Din says much has changed, and they walk past a small street band while coming to stop as a droid monument. Its a bounty droid from Season 1. Now Karge (aka a big whig in the Bounty Hunter's Guild is a Republic Magistrate)! Nevarro is a trade spur of the infamous Hydian Way, and the planet is starting to prosper about the terror of Moff Gideon.
I wanna say watching Grogu spin in the chair was, so fucking cute. Karga asks about why Grogu was back and mentions of his Exile and Grogu's return. Grogu, of course, uses a force pull to steal some food. A droid appears to speak of Pirate trouble and we find some aliens harssing a brown protocol droid. The captain, Vane, talks about a drink.
So it sees that they want to drink in the school (formerly a bar) and he mentions a bit of treasure used to build it. Greef Karga tells them they can drink in his office and they start tossing insults. this pirate pudu thinks he can just push folk around. Grou floats around semi-interested as the two have a face off with their blasters. Vane gets his gun shot out of his hands and the rest of his crew are mowed down for trying to draw in h is defense.
We switch back as the two talk about the need for a standing peace officer on the trade port. Greef wants to make Nevarro an independent colonial outpost. So Din wants G-11 back, and the statue gets pulled apart to rebuild him. having a handy trustworthy droid is a tad of a character development for a man who use to outright hate them.  By the Codes G-11 could be Mandalorian, if they decide to go that route I'll be so damn happy.
Our friend pops to life, his upper body raising as his "eyes and sensors" swivel around. he starts spouting bondsman guild code at every and tries to seize Grogu. This scene was pretty damn great, I do like how it was the protocol droid who killed him. It's sad we saw G-11 will have to be rebuild. His update programming redone. The Magistrate talks a game and suddenly we runinto a little friend from "Rise of Skywalker", its the Anzellans! If you guys remember DuDER was an Anzelan who featured heavily in the last New Trilogy story.
Small little aliens about six inches tall and seeing them work with Din sitting crosslegged  is great. Even better is Grogu being a silly Toddler and trying to squeeze the poor droidsmith. All seems lost when the inform Din of his friends ruined memory cuircuit but all that changes as he learns he just needs a new one.
Leaving, we watch as Din explains a few things and out pops Vane along with two mooks in cheap A-Wing copies. The idiots decide to pick a dogfight with a Naboo Fighter, one of the fastest snubfighters in modern galactic history. Idiots, he spins around an asteroid and blasts one head one. More pirates pop up forcing Din to bo and weave among the floating rocks. What I like the most was how Din spooked the shit out of our mixed alien pilots. Thoroughly reminding them that a mando'ade in a claw fighter is dangerous, but stick one in an even faster ship and you die.
They draw him to the primary pirate King Gorian Shard. Shards Makeup is astoudning giving us a strange ape like species with weed and vine-like hair. Loved it.
Away from the Pirates we land on Kalevala (nice naming a planet after a Finnish Epic). We land on the outskirts of a mssive castle in the traditional Mando'ade style. heavy geometric and triangular designs. Enter, we instantly know whose land this is. The Nite Owls and by extensin, Bo-Katan and Clan Krize rule here. Bo gave up after her forces. And she points out how the Children splinted the loyalty of the Mando'age. How her forces split away because she didn't have the saber.
He informs her of his quest as she gives him a location as she decides against aiding him. Poor Bo she watched her own sister die, and failed to act in Duchess Satines sted. Leading a dead Clan there isn't much more she can do.
Episode 2 | Chapter 18 - The Mines of Mandalore
We are given a memory of the past. Of the fall of the House of kryze and the Deathwatch. How the ending of Clan Wren igniting the Clan unification fell again. Will the Mines be proof of the healing of Mandalore, what will Sundari show us?
On Tattooine a Rodian argues with certain crabby repair shop owner we all love.  After a little bit of complaining the two whine at each other about work. The Rodian leaves and the Jawas appear to put it all back together. Ah yes, an old scam with jawas included. Their little conjob is ruined when din arrives in his Fighter, the chrome exerience shining the triple light of the suns.
Grogu leaps into Peli's arms using a force jump and we learn that the IG Circuit is pretty rare. Peli immediately advertise an R5 astromech who actively shows fear about spelunking. Offering a free astromech port and giving him a oil bath he's bought by Din. Now with a scaredy cat R5-D4 mech in tow they head off in the wake of the celebrations of Boonta Eve. Now, as they come from the black of space they fly over the torn landscape of Mandalore.
Massive swirling electrical storms drift across the ancient homeworld's surface. Apparently, Din never lived on Mandalore itself and instead grew up on Concoria, which is an old Death Watch powerbase. They dip into the storms of manalore as rain and lighting blights their view. The light barely creeps and when they break through a massive glassed landscape lays out before them. Fusion bombing has destroyed the ability to use interspace communcations. We look at the glassed ruins of Sundari itself, where House kryze held sway over an entire alliance of planets.
R5 ignores an order and gets booted outside (or dropped) to do his job. I like how we get a cowardly Droid, but also that Din is kind of seeming to care. I can still sense that shit is about to go down as R5 trails across the ground. He disappears behind a small rocky outcropping (which I'm betting he's going to disappear from in classic R2 style). Yup, he immediately disappears on the sensor, Grogu make a worried trill and pushes Din to go after him.  Around the same bit of rock and into a cave he goes, dark greenish light being the only source there is.
The greenish tint to the fusion glass gives it a strange ethereal feeling. He happens upon a sigh, an old city, is this Sundari or what was once under Sundari. Then a group of crudely dressed reptoid creatuers with four eyes and tusks appear. they almmost look like the Taungs from starwars legends, only far more brutish in appearance. So what are these things, they wield what are obviously forged weaponry (specifically axes). Din retrieves R5 and we learned Mandlore still has breathable air. What is wrong with it then?
Why has there been no attempt to retake the homeworld? This interests me and I feel a sense of disquiet as Din uses his jetpack to lower himself down. A massive opening, well more of a giant abyss filled with pipe opeings meets their gaze as pipe after pipe passes by we see the opening tunnels of an ancient sewer. Are those "Taungs" down there. As Din goes forward a green and glowing eyed reptile barks at him. The water of the dark of the tunnel shows more growling lizards along with massive collapse from the Purge.
But we find a much more obvious means to the mines which while still damaged is open. This is the way.
Din watches the ground and ceiling. I'm guessing he's looking for a mixture of threats and alos maybe more on his people. In the dirty, half buried we see an open visored helm. One ages old and covered in rust before a giant mech pops to life and grabs him. Holy shit, its some weird giant bettle mech. Fuck I wanted a basalisque war droid!
Grogu drifts after the Droid which has Din in its jaws and we pass pile after pile of abandoned helmets. How many mandlorians have died. Bits of metal, chains and other debris cover the room as the droid drops the its victims cage before going offline. We are then reminded as an eye moves past the droids red sensor, that is in fact a strange cyborg entit. And yup, out comes a monster creepier than General Grevious.
In a ghoulish fashion the creautre which is just what appears to be a brain and spine in a metal frame goes to work. It bears a shock stick in one hand and disappears from Grogu's sight. The kid gets closer to Din and keeps an eye while the monster combs through the debris of its den. Moving to free his father Grogu flees and force jumps to his pod. runs, and is attacked by one of the strange lizards. Dodging he makes it to the top and is in the home stretch, but our stupid other monster appear. Tossing the four-eyed creature he heads to the ship gives the order to fly.
R5 sets the fighter in geer and we pan to Bo-Katan's palace, and lone droid addressing "your majesty". As the fighter comes into view she talks about ending it. Too bad shes going to pick a fight with a baby yoda. She seems, curious, and after they get the info from R5 and fly to mandalore. Seeing the destroy city she comments, "it didn't always look like this". Bow has the kid lead the way as she heads out in full armor, her Nite Owl helm glistening in the sun of her world. Meanwhile, R5 watches from the ship.
Their entry belies the danger and Bo isn't playing this fast and loos. her gaze is sweeping everything and just as she reaches the precipe she gazes upon her charnel house of a home. A tomb where once the House of kryze held Court. Lilke before, we descend, Bo-katan seemingly feeling the nostalgic trauma connected to the nightmare in front of her. They pass the same piples Din did and Grogu hesitates about the lizzard.
"I know that you are frightened." Bo reassures Grogu that she needs hi. This kid isn't just a kid, he is a Mandalorian (burn whatever the Children of the Watch say). She talks to Grogu about how the Jedi and Mando'ade fought as one. Sensing danger she blasts open the ceiling and  ends the alien orcs in a few concise blows.
So the monsters are Alamites, and it's good to learn  more. This means our monster friend who seems intent on eating Din or maybe devouring his fluids, is something from the past as well. It does have four arms, but it can't be general Grevious. Which makes me wonder what horror of Mandalorian mythology are we witnessing. Pushing her the creature forces her to the ground after three strikes.
She draws the Dark Saber and fights with it, seemingly killing it, but only injuring the base frame. It heads for its monster frame and yup we get to see Bo being a bad ass bitch for international women's day. She slwys the beast with the Dark Saber, after Din lost it. Technically, I believe that would count as a trial by Creed. Saving one's life and using a legendary weapon to meet means that yes, she is Manda'lor. Or at leas thte one to teach the true Manda'lor.
"A great society, now a memory."
Waxin poetic about the ashes of Mandalore and we learn more about her history. She ruled and failed. Feeding him pog soup (a Mando stape which he tastes for the first time. We get more discussion on philosophy about the Creed and Bo's more liberal take on being Mandalorian. She agreeds to take him, and we are drawn back to the dark. Bo acts as another exposition dump and we get a pretty common concept. A warrior group divided by their own infighting. The Manda'lor is much like a nomadic ruler who unites the clans.
The two talk futher about the history of mandlore and Clan Kryze. He utters "this is the way" to her in an amiable fashion. Showing respect for the former Lord of Clan kryze. Finally, after a bit of drama and horror we witness the Living Waters themselves. Kryze recites a plaque and Din takes off his helmet. We see a reenactment of the scene before where the Armor was baptizing the child. But just as he steps lower, Din is dragged undr by something.
Bo-Katan drops low, and sims to find him, and she does deep at the bottom, only her jetpike giving her thespeed to head forward. What she finds is a literally fucking Mythosaur. A massive ancient alient Dragon which shouldn't exist. Breathing hard, we break, making me wonder what will happen next.
Gay Canon
The Mandalorian continues to provide a lot lot of good sources for gay content. While some could easily ship Bo-Katan with someon I'd rather stick with someone like Ahsoka or even Barris. Din is the lost child child of an extremist religious faction. None of the actions I see him and Bo doing equal them having a romantic relationship. To me, it fits more in the manner of brother and sister. Din is there to provide her inspiration for rebuilding her people.
She in the while is there to point out to Din that being Mandalorian isn't just about being a person in a helmet.
Hottakes:
This was perhaps one of the more action filled openings for a Mando season yet.
What i liked about this one was the revelation that the Tribe was still quite populaous.
That massive CrocoTurtle really foreshadowed the damn Mythosaur.
The scenes with Greef while short were pretty nice. I like seeing how Nevarro is evolving since season 2.
Gorian Shard's pirates were a nice update on who is ruling the underworld in the fall of Jabba.
The scene where IG comes to life and attacks everyone was pretty damn creepy.
Peli pulling scams with a group of Jawas heh.
The droidsmith scene really shows how even though Grogu is about 53 years old he is still a Toddler.
Okay, hearing that the Mando-ade have a moon named after a Finnish Poetic Epic was metal as fuck.
The Clan Kryze castle is gorgeous and quite dreary. I adore its geometric design that mirrors the old mandalorian Cubist designs.
Okay, the Alamits are weird as fuuuuck.
That flesh cyborgmonster was the worst of Spider Maul and General Grevious melded into one horror.
Din getting captured and turned into a Damnsel twice in this movie was so fascinating.
Seeing the increasingly sorrowful status of Bo-Katan Kryze makes me wonder if both are seeking redemption.

Hello to the mortalrealm!
For the last few months or so I have been pretty much battling mental health issues as well as a pretty strong mental block on the end of my latest story. Plus, I had a bit of a block when it came to the lore I was releasing on the Nine Realms. Well, within the last month I’ve joined the r/worldbuilding subreddit as well as their discord. I don’t have the most spoons these days because of work, but with a steady rythmn of routine sinking back in things are getting easier to manage.
I”m finishing up chapter 6 of Poisoned Heart, and after hassling myself with a growing list of medical problems (I’m having to update a chronic illness I foolishly thought was gone) things are looking up. Some of the ideas I in the upcoming months will include a word challenge; more lore (cuz I love that lore writing); reviews on several shows I’ve eyed, and the plans for my next novel.
I will say, the support I get here even when I’m gone (as of right now there’s like 20+ notifications for this site) the support here, on my discord and much more has been helpful. My family has given me the needed serotonin shots to help me parse out my increasing health issues (I’m prediabetic, working to lower my A1C).
Anway back to your reguarly schedule gay as fuck programming!

Hey kith and kyn, this last year was a nice bit of stability. I”ve continued to put out new content including three new short stories, a lot of this was in part because I launched my Patreon last May. It’s paid for my discord to have some new emotes as well as some other whistles. The major thing though is it meant people thought all my silly work was worth something. So out of everyone who has liked, reblogged and even more on my stories. I just asking, please fi you like my stuff, consider dropping a $1. It helps put money aside for fiction related projects as well as supports the fandom we’ve built up over the last decade.

She'd only seen the Gates perhaps once in her life before this. They reached far into the sky and were blanketed in clouds. She rested aboard her captain's ship, a feeling of languor threatening to overtake her. Eying the tall woman who claimed command of the Spiteful Harlot she sat up. A den den mushi in her hands was spouting some nonsense she could barely make out. "WHAT DO YOU MEAN WHITEBEARD IS DEAD?!" and at those words Qwynn froze. Edward Newgate, the strongest human in the entire damn world was dead. How? The zoan user instantly shifted into her leopard form and leaped from her place sleeping on the prow of the boat. --- SPOILER WARNING! CONTENT WARNING: Mass character death, brutality and abuse. *The droning voice of Sengoku in the background.* We finally reach the penultimate Arc of the Summit War Saga. This arc was hands down one of the most painful to watch. Not because it was dragging at times, and oh did it drag. But because we all learned that this big rescue mission was nothing but tragedy. I knew what was going to happen, I spoiled One Piece all the time for myself. Hate me if you want, but I like staying updated on the Manga as my mental illness. That being said I watch the show in spurts between work and commitments to my patreon work. So, wow, lets do this, I'm not breaking this one down to bits of the arc. This is going to be a pure bad good and ugly. I want to do it this way because this was the hardest hitting Arc I've seen since Enies Lobby. The Ugly One thing about Shounen ANime is they really like to drag out fights with a lot of twists and what not. I say this as someone who grew up on shows like Yu-Gi-Oh and OG Dragonball Z. This story was great, it added a lot of nice twists and bits but there were a few low points for me. It doesn't dragon on a Naruto Level. I can't put my finger on it, but a lot of ways I really didn't think it should have taken Luffy more than five episodes to get out of the exit ring. This part of the battle is perhaps the most where I got frustrated watching. It really started as the push for the harbor was about midway through. The story where we finally get Squard's stab into Newgate. Watching him do so, learning more about the backstory of Ace and much more was heartening. But there are a few episodes that break down to pretty much "Keep going get going" and then only a little bit of progress is made. This entire Arc is about a losing war, and yet, damn it ground hard into me. And this is the only critique in this regard I can think of! So I was going to do a bad, but fuck it, I already did that. The Good I simp for this show. It calls me like the Jezabelle she is! Now lets talk about what this Arc did so damn well, it made me fucking cry. We already know Oda is kind of against killing people off. He let Crocodile live for FFS. There are even points where it was obvious that people like Moria should have been dead, but nope they are still alive. Hell, its also been revealed that perhaps a certain giant is still alive! Spoilers aside, this entire thing is pretty fucking filled with despair. An entire story about the despair created by the fucking World Government. Yeah, lets not ignore that the world of One Piece is rand by a genocidal government okay with wiping out entire nations and islands for convenience. So watching them murder not only a bunch of pirates, but lying to get them to betray each other makes sense. Sure, we can easily view the Marines as good guys if we already didn't know better. What we see really is a group of people trying to save on eo fhteir own. Attempting to use overwhelming odds but all they ace is three fucking tyrannical gods, and their pragmatic Commander. The Whitebeard Pirate Alliance fall in droves as they are cut down by the Warlords and the Admirals. The Vice Admirals join the fray and as Little Oars dies to save his friends they use his fucking body to climb over. This is some seriously dark shit. All the while we watch as Ace is reminded of how his entire life all he's good at is getting other killed. DAMN ODA! Squard's betrayal in of itself was another great ploy by Sakazu aka Akainu, a truly tyrannical figure. This shows that the Marines as the sword arm of the World Nobles is not above fomenting mutiny. Yeah, it's a good strategy, and honestly it just reminds us that these are not good people. They have NO scruples. Whitebeards death was just so damn disquieting. He just stood there as he finally lost his strength. Then to have his devil fruit powers stolen by that bastard Teach made it even worse. Teach truly is a fucking near Xanatos level villain. This guy has played Newgate SINCE he joined and sacrificed former friends to get what he wanted. All of this culminates into the final death of Ace, and damn, I knew it was coming. I knew it was going to make me cry, yet by the Nine it tore into me. ACE and Luffy are members of ASL, and three kids who grew up in a world that despised them. It it weren't for Crocodile (yes I follow the Croco-mom theory) hadn't saved his boy Luffy would be dead. Gay Canon I will say that this entire episode is laden with fucking masc characters so I can't spin a a lesbian scene here. Honestly, I would headcanon Luffy as a trans masc and Ace as his adopted brother still. Spin up Hancock as his love interest and there we go. TBH with how tall Hancock is I'm reminded of T4T couple memes I see now and then. Now, let's talk about adopted dads. Newgate actually TREATS his suborinates as his kids and grandkids. He treats them well and defends them with all his might. This can easily be seen with cultish as we're talking about a macho-man figure who gets everyone to call him pops. But easily there is nothing in that manner. Honestly in this story I see Marco's desperation here to save Ace as a man trying to save his husband. Marco and Ace FIT as a couple and I really do like that as an angle. For sapphic ships we are still kind of at a loss. The only Warlord Present who can remotely being seen as mingender or "as a womxn" is Hancock. Everyone other major character minus perhaps two vice admirals are androgender spectrum. Now, a rare fic story featuring Hancock and Hina maybe? I mean, there's not a lot of optinos from this storyline! Though, I think a story with Vivi and Hina would also be another good option for an aftermath rare pair set up. Conclusion Wow, yeah, this was a post long time coming and to be honest I've been in a fairly deep funk overwhelmed by real life. Heh, anyways, lets sit back and discuss some final thoughts. The Marineford Arc is a solid conclusion to the Summit War Arc. I really dislike the dub translation of "War of the Best" but whatever. I watch the dub because I get distracted and write and I can't always be reading subtitles. (I use to be a purist, but fucking ADHD and other issues messed it up). Back to the story, this epic battle specifically brought us what we wanted. The despair felt by pirates and the rebels against the might of the Marines. Without the Gura Gura no Mi, the battle would have been harder for everyone. YES, the Division Commanders are powerful. But we are talking about the fucking Warlords of the Sea. One of which is a total meglomaniac who is powerful enough to spider sling across clouds for fun. Aokiji bikes across water because he's so precise with his power. This was a last hurrah for the legends of Whitebeardss Era. Sure Kaido and Big Mom were his mates, but the old man truly was one of the Greats. What we see here is a foolish attempt by the WG to quash the Supernovas. To kick them while they are down and prevent the rise of another Pirate King. Someone capable of challenging the false gods of the Celestial Dragons and put Im on the backfoot. This wasn't going to happen, but what I witnessed was the not just a last ditch effort to save on of their own. I watched a generation's hope of freedom get crushed as villains like Teach, Kaido and Big Mom existed off in the distance. I mean Teach stole a fucking fruit and now has shit that is just plot plate armor level crazy. But yeah, as we go into the New World I'm itching for watching a few Admirals getting a beat down. Hottakes:
Holy fucking shit Marineford is a ridiculous space. I keep forgetting how big Marine ships are as well. Those things Dwarf most of the ships from any of the early arcs.
Are paddle wheel boats a standard? I'v seen three so far, the Kuja Pirate's ship, the one Momonga had and Whitebeard's ace in the hole.
Whitebeard is an interesting figure, I think he should have jumped in. Oars death felt so needless, it just shows that people loved Ace. And this was a means to "punish" him for just existing.
I really just hate Akainu, he's such an asshole.
Aokiji is beyond OP, he's a devil fruit user but he can free sea water. That's a ridiculous cold point to achieve plus averting a common devil fruit weakness.
Well fuck Blackeard for being able to steal fuck powers.

NEW LORE now acessible on Discord Right Now or you can read it an all my reviews by pledging to my patreon. Anyway, I wrote out a nice little intro to my upcoming magick system, Éalrith, or “the Art”. Here’s an intro:
The life-pulse of the Three beats in the Soul, Name, and Will of every being in the Nine Realms. Through the three First Domains of Atrophy, Creation and Fate to the Primal Domains magick flows in time to the constant weaving of Fate's Loom. Through this constant flow of energy, every Fae is gifted with Enam, the Soul, the fires of their very life, and the fuel for their magickal usage. Manipulating the Soul through Enan, the Name is how fae are capable of producing the effects of magick simply known as ír Éalrith or "the Art"
And yet, a final point of in the Art remains, Enaith, the Will. Through one's Enaith one can wield the Soulfire and impress upon the command of their mind.

One Piece: Amazon Lily Arc
Kizaru tore through the pirate Captains and their cfews without abandon. SHe watched as the Supernovas did their best to fight the strange giant humans. Light flshed so brightly she had to cover her eyes. A loose growl in her throat as she used her zoan form to leap from her hiding place atop the giant mangrove. Landing on her feet she dodge an oncoming blast of fire as a Marine company sent a volley of bullets her way. Each movement she did required all of her enhanced reflexes, Only when she went sailing over the edge, though, did she truly know fear. --- The Amazon Lily Arc, whoa! WE got this far! Luffy is sent flying after a moment of pure gut- wrenching despair. His body is struck by the power of Kuma's Nikyu Nikyu no Mi and on his way at high speed through the air. After he strikes the ground we find him in the one place perhaps he shouldn't be. Amazon Lily, home to the all-cisfemale (YES I AM INCLUDING OKAMA and NEWKAMA IN THIS ASSESSMENT!) Kuja Tribe. We get to meet Marguerite and her friends as they discover poor Luffy after he stupidly consumes a parasitic mushroom. Bouncing forward and skipping over the anime dick jokes with the Kuja, what is most important here is how Luffy reacts. He wakes up, freaks out and yet as he gets chased he doesn't intentionally try to ruin a bunch of stuff. Instead, he nearly dies and get's saved by Marguerite while her friends, Sweet Pea, and Aphelandra do their best to support her. A few things about the Kuja I like. One yes, some have the pretty curvy designs of the typical One Piece women, but many also have pretty different body types. WE see broad-chested women, short, plump and more. Plus, yes, they all wear bikini's in a pretty blunt manner which is all the better when Luffy ignores everything. I love how Luffy is easily this lovable Ace motherfucker who just wants to make people happy. Now skipping through all the shenanigans Boa Hancock comes in after turning entire Marine Crew to Stone. After Luffy pops into her bath and sees her back she flips out (with good reason). The Snake Princess is shown in parts of this arc as cold and distant. Her looks and her fruit make people love her without any really deeper feeling. They see her as an object, and this makes her painful backstory all the worse. Plus I wanna say that I love her sisters, Sonia is just a fucking darling. And, Marigold is just this awesome fat goddess who can kick serious ass. The scene after they take over Luffy's execution after he defeats their giant panther is, funny and interesting. It sets up the Boa sisters as cold, and brutal. They use their Haki to easily defeat and toy with Luffy. When they move to smash the stone forms of Marguerite, Sweetpea and Aphelandra I was calling for Luffy to destroy them. There is a point to this brutality though, the sisters have been shaped by their society which forbids men, and they were tortured. So just as Luffy first unleashes a mega Conqueror's Haki burst and soundly starts kicking their asses I cheered loudly for him. One Piece is a show I can just watch for Hours and just feel good about. With gusto! I was lost in writing when I saw Sonia knocked toward the sharpened spikes and heard how her mark would be exposed. Seeing Luffy just leap onto Sonia's back even after she eagerly threatened to smash one of her own people was a clincher for why I love him. Wait no, it was him say, yup fuck my freedom, save your people please! Yeah, Luffy has a level of goodness that just makes me feel better. Boa Hancock's Backstory So, I didn't go much into my feelings on the Celestial Dragons, but lets ignore the fact that they are literal caricatures of what rick people really do! SO. All three young girl were captured as cabin girls on their own ship and then branded with the "Dragon's Claw". Let that sink in, these were young teens sold into slavery for some monsters. I swear if these fuckers were wearing crosses and were part of a mega-church or even a republican meeting! Yup, the girls got away after they were experimented on and wow. The amount of trauma they all went through and the fact they can still lead a country is pretty impressive. All of the stories and the coldness they show to their people is kind of explained in their trauma. Honestly, I am so glad they ran with how blunt the story was. Because any other idiot would have turned this into a tragic villain scene. Instead, we got a scene that shows us how a ruler can easily become distant from her own people. If they show weakness they think the people will turn on them. Damn, you think that the kids making a homemade statute would prove the opposite. I think the dissonance I felt as I watch them threaten to smash Marguerite versus revealing their trauma was surreal. It really shows how much emotional distant and masking the three do. All to maintain the false story of the Gorgon Sisters. Preparing For Impel Down After Hancock acquiesce to Luffy's request to save (and yes I realize I'm skipping a plot beat or two) she gets a pretty thorough verbal comment from Granny Nyon. As Luffy prepares to leave Hancock becomes suddenly sick. WE learn that all of Luffy's compassion has given her reason to fall head over heels in love with him. This was a bit of a weird scene, that her cold heart would come to fixate so much she could die outside his presence. The scenes where we see Luffy and her traveling aboard the ship alone was strange. Hancock's lovesickness seems a bit out of left field for me, I would have preferred if it was a little less sudden. Now,  know beforehand she had a thing for Luffy. Hell, I even tried to find a few fanfics that played around the relationship. The problem is I couldn't find any really shorter than 50k words that kept my interest. Please don't blame me that I prefer Nami and Luffy. Please note, I headcanon Luffy as a nonbinary ace hero. Overall This setting does a good job of showing more abilities derived from Haki. The idea that up until now we've barely seen it becomes more realistic as it seems it's not a widely practice gift outside of the New World. Sentamarou was a master of Armament Haki and it appears the Kuja use it as well to empower their attacks. This was a decent continual show of what Haki can achieve and it was a nice way to show how Devil Fruits can be defeated by Haki users. If Luffy didn't have his experience in battle he wouldn't have dodged all those Kuja arrows. If he didn't have Second Gear, he wouldn't have defeated Sonia or Marigold without it really. The increased speed was the only way he really got around Sonia's observation Haki and the increased velocity for his strikes assisted him against Marigold. This is a big change from when we first saw a certain annoying Skypeian using "Mantra" (Satori) against Sanji. Or hell, Shank's in episode one from the get-go. Conclusion This Arc focused on Luffy regaining a sense of hope. Watching him break down in Saobody when everyone disappeared was nerve-wracking. As someone who has felt a sense of despair, I will never reach Luffy's level. The poor kid loses his entire found family and finds out his brother is to die not long after. The actual way they emphasized each disappearance by Kuma by a bubble popping was tightened the anxiety I felt as I watched. Switching suddenly to something a bit more filled with hope was a nice change of pace. I say hope because both Hancock and Luffy brought it to each other. Luffy brought about the physical beating of two Celestial Dragons. Plus saving a friend of his from slavery ups the reality of how much Hancock can show some trust. Hancock, on the other hand, and as she treats her people better gives Luffy stability. It also seemed to give him time to remember his crew wasn't dead. They were all just sent flying everywhere. A pause to recover from watching everyone almost die. Hottakes:
That poor giant boar at the beginning, he deserved better.
The entire scene with Luffy being considered a girl was, so weird for me.
Like I was happy that the girls were like "ah yes another woman", but then the mushroom jokes and body washing. eeeww.
Mageurite deserves a bigger part in a side story, watching her help Luffy was interesting.
Sweatpea was a fucking amazing bean.
Aphelandra really shows how people in One Piece can be super tiny or fucking giants, and NOT BE ACTUAL GIANTS.
Momonga, wtf is up with the naming of this world.
The Mero-Mero no Mi is such a weird fruit, it's a fruit that creates a great sense of attraction and can turn people to stone if they have lewd thoughts.
THE FUCK ODA?!
The snake forms on Sonia and Margold into big titty nagas, shows that furries are well loved in ONe Piece.
I like how they are emphasizing this weird sort of fated pairing of Luffy almost in a folkloric way. He and her have Conqueror's Haki which is pretty damn rare.
Hancock needs a good Polyam ship with Vivi and Nami.
Robin would adore Amazon Lily since it appears to have constant sense of archaeological history.

Standing on her hand she felt her balancing on the top of the tower as she watched the bedraggled procession below. On Grove 1, the Human Shop, a suit wearing man with a bubbled helmet and turnip shaped hair wandered below. Among him wandered a blowfish-man and a woman. Both wore thick iron collars around their necks with chains leading to the mans hand. His ridiculous suit and hair declared him one of the World Nobles. A guttural growl erupted from her throat as she felt the fur erupt all over her skin. Light white fur covered in black dappling. And it required all of her strength to not  unleash her Devil Fruit. --- Hey guys, to fight away my depression I decided to delve back into One Piece, and Holy Shit, I finally made it through Saobody! So clarify unlike before I will not be doing a Saga wide plot review, instead I'm going to write out my thoughts on the arcs I watch as I recharge further from this past summers assortment of shows. Yes, I will be doing Andor, but it will be a bit for me to work up to it! Now, going straight into Saobody the reappearance of Hatchin was a nice touch. Camie while kind of ditzy was such a damn lovable character! Papagu as a sort of foolish rasta hat wearing sartfish only took the cake. This series is all about the high level absurdism that is in this series. We go from just a wandering lost Mermaid to flying motorcycle fish. But I digress. As the team leaves Thriller Bark they find themselves right at the wall of rock that is the Redline. A massive line of mountains (as best as we can describe it) that encircle the entirety of the world. It is the Redline and the strange Grand Line Ocean which split the One Piece world into the Four Blues. So seeing it in person outside of Reverse Mountain is pretty amazing. Now switching back to Camie, her lead up with the Macro Gang and the Flying Fish Riders was more slapstick than actual fight. Learning that a lowly shitty gangster had his life ruined by a bad art piece of Sanji is pretty hilarious in a way. But what took the cake of this mini-arc was Luffy defeating Duval with just a glance. A great lead in to Haki (which was see earlier in the series with Skypeia and the meet up between Shanks and Whitebeard). We get an idea of how these folks wanted to kidnap Camie as a get-rich-quick scheme. But as we pop in Saobody we get a really taste of the horror of the World Nobles. A man, Devil Dias, escapes only to die as his collar explodes. Later said World Nobles appear and shoot the man because dared to run away and demand to see his family again. What is truly horrific about this scene is how no one moves to heavily Dias. They all ignore him and shudder in terror knowing that the Nobles can enslave them on the spot without question. In this world, the World Government, treats its ultra-rich bubble helmet suit wearing Nobles as "Gods". They're even called "Celestial Dragons", a pretty apt allegory for the uber rich. Any billionaire in this day and age could easily be any one of the Rosewards. When Camie is kidnapped I was horrified as the auction scene became the next focus. Even with Handsome Duval (yes I'm using this title sarcastically) and his crew offering some light humor, there's nothing light about it. So, we get everyone but the Monster Trio in to save Camie and as the slaves are sold she finally almost has a chance to be saved. Nami has a plan! Using every single ounce of treasure from their last big score they'll save her. Too bad that one of the fucking Dragons decides to just bid on her with 500 million! This scene raises the despair of this particular arc, and as all hell breaks lose Luffy and the rest of his top fighters storm the hall only to raise the stakes. Hatchin jumps in and ends up getting shot in only what can be described as a blatant racist show of the terrible humans of One Piece! Seeing Luffy punch Charlos Roseward into the ground was damn satisfying just as it was for someone to land on his shitty father. And when all seems lost a literal fucking legend pops up to save them all! Yeah, this Arc really just as dramatic as any other. Back on topic, what we see here is a pretty lengthy combat scene where the Strawhats are driven to the brink. It's only a matter of time before they break! In this island archipelago of wondrous bubbles and massive mangroves, the very amusement park is just a trap for traffickers. Now, almost immediately after Rayleigh dismisses everyone in a singular moment we get just a singular reprieve. With an episode Admiral Kizaru appears along with the Pacifista. As the Strawhats try to run they are picked off one by one. Each of the Kuma cyborg clones easily takes out members of the Worst Generation as they wield the light of the Pika Pika no Mi. This sudden change from quiet to the increasing despair of the end of this arc was bone chilling. Watching Kizaru stand over both Zoro and later Sanji ready to kill them as, damn. We almost get a sense of triumph just before the Pacifistas are told to step aside by the real Kuma. As he uses his Paw Paw powers to sent the Strawhats away we see Luffy losing it bit by bit. Every bit of safety and support he's built for years is being carved away. No matter how good the Strawhats think they are, they cannot defeat a fucking admiral. Conclusion This Arc is a start up for the Summit War, a story about how you can't always win. That the Bad Guys can and will outthink the hero and that yes, you an't save everyone. I know the end of this story, but I want to experience first hand so I wrote this as a separate piece for my thoughts on the Saga. I plan on doing Amazon Lily and Impel Down soon, but for now this is all the energy I have in me! Hottakes:
The Rosey Riders sans Flying FIsh Riders are a ridiculous crew. I adore them.
Kizaru is a fucking genocidal asshole only matched by Akainu
I like how they really pushed how dangerous Haki is in this especially with Sentomarou using it to hurt Luffy.
Elon Musk is a fucking Celestial Dragon.
This Arc makes me hate the World Government More.
I hardcore ship Sanji and Zoro now for some damn reason, probably because I read a Trans Sanji story!
Nami is amazing, I loved how she's mastering her weather powers.
Sanji firing away in futile attempts against Kizaru just made me want to sob as he wanted to defend his friends.
The scene where Luffy recalled his hardest memories with his crew made me cry so damn hard.

Hello and welcome to Deep Space Nine. We are a space station, not a starship, so you’ll be spending a lot of time with all these delightful side characters like: bisexual fashion lizard. hologram of Frank Sinatra. goblins. goblin comes in 3 varieties: bartender, nephew, and idiot. our doctor is a twink, our commander is antifa and the captain talks to the gods sometimes. our policeman is sometimes a liquid and the science lady is part worm. we have many fine storylines, such as: Goblin Does A Crime, Watch The Irishman Suffer, or The Horrors Of War. As you stroll along our promenade enjoying a raktajino or delicious jumja stick, watch out for our nefarious villains: Pope Karen. clones of Jeffrey Combs. and a horny bastard reptile man who seems convinced this is actually his show. we suspect he may be possessed by demons. Have fun!

Sitting on the sidelines, she watched the Firstborn Followers of the Fallen hand out pamphlets. Her eyesight noted how their eyes held no real life, and only dark malice. Possessed walking the streets and acting like Jehovah Witness'. This isn't good. VERY BAD! Saoirse crept along the edge of the alley, her eyes firm on the men as they disappeared into a strange temple. Opening her phone she snapped a picture, the strange bladed cross of Adriel sat atop it. "These fucks just moved into my home, is anyone dealing with them?" --- SPOILERS AHEAD! YES, Warrior Nun Season 2 came out and I binged it like the basic thirsty bitch I AM! Please note, I have a lot of solid criticism for this series and a lot of love for it. Please be aware, this TV Series is a strict departure from the kind of hypersexualized work of Ben Dunn, "Warrior Nun Areala". In that world, the Halo doesn't exist in the same way that the Nun in question (Shannon) is a reincarnation of the original Nun, Areala. In this story, Arela is a former pagan Valkyrie comes to serve the church. There's a lot more magick and devils in this story and not as much multiplanar science. First, I want to say that as we enter this season, Ava was her usual irritating self. I mean the girl was basically abused and killed for being disable as an orphan. Remember, she was treated as completely useless and was poisoned to death via an overdose. So when she got the Halo she went hogwild with all the power and ability to you know -walk.-. By now she's still being her reckless self, and starts to actually mature. The breakout of this particular season to me were Beatric, Superion and Camila. Yeah, when we finally get Yasmine into the mix I like how we have a Coptic Nun (who decided to drop a few drags on the British Colonization of Egypt) join the crew. The Ugly Adriel is one of the MOST abhorrently plot armor-filled villain I've seen since I watched WIthout a Trace. Seriously, that godkin should have been killed so many times and the fact he could figure shit out was just stupid. Near the end we got a good example of his power, but honestly these fights felt more like needless tension raising rather than threats. This is where seeing him doing more than offhanded plagues would have been kind of great. As you know, maybe a scene where he stares down a tank, or I dunno ends a war. Like seriously, I mean I get the catholic influences in this show. But there is far too much plot armor propping up the Firstborn, especially with how they treated Lillith. Oh, gods don't get me started on FUCKING LILLITH! Second, Lillith literally murders an entire crowd of the Firstborn fucks and then turns to the man later on. She breaks away after hearing of Mary's death and just -gives- up? Like I get that her mother is shitty and that we're trying to tie her to the demon in the comics (who is a villain daughter of the OG Lillith), but wasted arc. Seeing her as more of a neutral party rather than a simp for Adriel would have been awesome. Since she was already a pretty solid anti-heroine backstory since Season 1. So basically, the story here is just kind of filled with a lot of stakes and at times needless extension. Adriel spends most of the time being a fucking mouthpiece of his own rhetoric and his followers are mooks. The few who reveal themselves at the Conclave was nice touch. Finally, god Miguel was kind of cool, but he was basically a bomb sent by a god. That was his story, sure he introduce the anti-Adriel resistance, but his entire arc was just kind of blah. The Good Fuck, Beatrice is filled with such fucking useless lesbian energy. The entire build up is done in such a way, that I was honestly angry with Ava a lot. But, honestly, Ava is nice to have as a bi/pan figure as well. I had a lot of gay thoughts popping away, but I like Avatrice as a couple. Yeah, in the original season it seemed there was more chemistry with Mary. How she appeared to love Shannon though build up this relationship which seems to coalesce out of the Halo-Bearers with their sisters. Now, there is something to be said for how well acted Beatrice as a big sister is to Camila. What we see here though is the need to protect and care for someone in a supporting and romantic manner. Mary and Beatrice have a strong bond with the Warrior Nun. As Warrior Sisters they stand as a sort of right-hand and as a defender. Yes, the Halo Bearer's have vast supernatural powers, but they need someone to watch their back. This is made even more evident as it was Beatrice in Season 1 who conducted Ava's training. Being together in isolation after the awakening of Adriel and the bombing at the Vatican likely increased their dependence on one another. Her frustration and how she expresses it with Miguel's appearance and joining the team was well acted. Hell, I was so fucking happy when they kissed by the end! The End This series is not nearly as bad as Cursed, which was a -very fucking bad- fantasy series. One that had a bit of potential which ended up wasted! Because, we can't have Arthurian stuff that is kind of okay these days! Now that said, the CGI in this series is still pretty janky. Like, I feel like if Shadow & Bone or even Witcher can get an upgraded so can Warrior Nun. Now this was a series I wasn't sure was going to get renewed. I watched it when Summer 2020 came before I made my big watch of the first Saga's of One Piece. So when I saw a new season I was pleasantly surprised. I do find it really funny that netflix seems intent on placating the Queers with tossing us a bone of a few solid LGBT filled series. While still supporting trash human beings like I dunno, David Chapelle? Who the fuck knows in this case. I was happy to watch this series, and when Adriel was torn apart all I could say was "Took way too damn long!" Hottakes: I watched this series at the end of a long day and in between assistance my sibling with her baby. Plus, I had my teeth drilled because of a cavity so I was pretty damn high as balls. I spent more time analyzing the series and think it over the night after I watched it. So sadly unlike the rest of my reviews I don't have any really hottakes for this one. I will say I want to see some good fics using this verse for you know, better writing!

She held the helmet under her arm as the droid behind her rolled along without even paying attention to the destruction around it. A loud whistling sound informed the Mandalorian what she was waiting for. "Are you sure H21?" she asked, only to receive a longseries of droid language whistles. After listening and discerning theirmeaning the Mandalorian sighed. "Fine, I will speak to the Duchess once this job is over."
Greetings everyone, it's been a long hiatus, but I am hopefully going to be getting back soon. Depression got real bad lately and even cannabis only can do so much. I've been able write a bit more on my next OC riddled fanfic Poisoned Heart. Anyway let's do Andor! Andor S1E1 "Kassa", the opening to Andor is a black screen seemingly zooming into to reveal the title. A stylized version of the Rebellion's symbol, the Starbird, is above it. Dark rain files into view as we watch Cassian walk a dark industrial walkway back to the city where he's living. Morlana One, a massive corp zone on the planet is where he's hiding. This place s reams blade runner and I like how they embedded a bunch of random weird ads. I like seeing this alien city and hearing the various languages in the background. The music here is very synth and I love the dancing twi'lek holo. I wonder what species the fucking bartender is. Almost utapaun, something with an elongated head and more. The proprieteress of the club pops up and we hear Cassian call the place a company town. Pretty damn accurate, Morlana's Corp Zone represents the worst of the Empire. She getting suspicious before Cassian mentions he's looking for his sister. The darkness punctuated by the blue light really sells a seediness to the place with it being broken by random gold lights. It makes me think we're in a strange almost iPhone owned industrial complex. A guard confronts, well a pair of idiot guards, Both using heavy Corscanti accents. Diego's voice has a short of desperate measure to it that sells his spy infused violence. I wonder if he watched some John Wick with how he carries his head as he kills the two me. That sort of tired, bedraggled expression of "here we go again." One guard dies and the other can sense his time to end., and gets his face blasted out. This is not your clean Star Wars, this is the Rebellion and one where you cannot afford loose ends. Yeah, if you want clear cut good and evil, do not watch this series. It's a james bond or mission impossible series with a grittier take. The filters on the vfx remind me heavily of Altered Carbon. WE come to Ferrix, a dust covered dirty city in the early morning. A droid is our main focus, one that easily heads out into a massive junk and scrap pile outside. I like his four little traction points for transportation. We switch to Cassian on Kenari his home where his sister wakes him up. B2EMO his droid has a pretty interesting stutter, which makes me wonder why it occurs. Maybe a damage to his voice processor? "That's two lies." The droid has to put a lot of energy into lying and just seems to want to spend time with "Kassa". Seems Ferrix is another mining or industrial town of sorts. I'm seeing a lot of bright yellow colors in the pallet along with drab oranges and reds. The usage of stone for a lot of the exterior definitely makes me think of some sort of mineral-based processing. Not to mention a lot of the clothes have padded bits insert into them making me thinking defense. Also more people are wearing ear plugs, definitely a job requiring large machinery. This is a great scene, it tells so much just in its costuming and colors. THe way that Cassina's friend has a cleanish face. WE switch back to the Pre-Mor where an investigator is talking about the seats of the guards. I like how he updated his "uniform" because he wants to act the proper Imperial. The man in charge decides to cover it up since the men in question would all make them look back. The DI just wants to ignore it, the Preox-Moralana company wants shit to look good which means less Imperial Oversight. Heh, love it. We switch back to Ferrix where Cassian has come to visit a friend who does repairs. I wonder is this part of his quest to find his sister? Bix is his connection and he pushes more. She asks Cassian what he did and she stole a fucking Starpath unity. He apparently stole it from his friend's bids. Damn, not the best decision. This episode has already established that Cassian is out for Cassian. He has some connections but they aren't exactly "friends". Flashing back to Kenari, we see that the camp is alive with curiosity. The various colonists have strung together a village mixing technology and various stuff near their home. We see them placing on some sort of paint for something the lines have a meaning for the older kids. I notice a distinct lack of adults in their camp. Back to the DI we see him in the security HQ where he berates a man for ignoring a obvious shi launch. Cassian continues his walk around the story as Nurchi, a loan shark, who wrangles another acquaintance into a discussion. I like vetch, big kind of dinosauroid dude with a cockney accent. Bix leaves work and her love interest follows her. What a fool, the man is going to get himself in a lot of trouble. The music hear continues to give us a sort of casual, but thriller quiet. All of the actions of many here are in the underworld. So my guess is she has to maintain a lot of secrets to keep herself solvent in credits. The Imperial Security folks have a nice level of chatter to make themselves appear like normal employees dealing with their uptight boss. Pegla who is a yardbull watching the various ships warns Cassian, and yet again, Cassian has burned another bridge. In the past we see the Kenari older kids head off somewhere. Strange, are they after that ship that crashed? Moving onto Andor S1E2 "That Would Be Me" we continue our take on the opening triad of Andor series. With quick reminder of what happened at the Industrial Site and the death of the two guards. We get the subtle simple opening of Andor with its string theme, which slowly fades into the jungles of Kenar.  The Kenari are heading off to investigate the crash our band of children are decked out in various weapons as they pass what seems to be an abandoned colony site. Overgrown pieces of machinery come to view as we then see a massive open face mine. The kids seem to be descendants of maybe colonial miners that once dwelt on the planet. Changing scenes we see a man entering a tower to adjust his ear plugs. He drums away on the chime which appears to be a large industrial way of alerting the workers of the town. In the shipyard Pegla is turning down the lights and everyone is heading back to put away their equipment. Another day working in the town has come as everyone cools down for the night. Meanwhile, Kassa is seemingly skulking about as Ferrix falls asleep. We see Bix friend reading her console and the Arabesh is translated as he sees the message for a Kenari male wanted. As he enters who appears to be an adoptive mother of sorts. THey discuss the fact that the Pre-Mor Sec know about him being Kenari. Our friendly droid tells him that Bix wants to meet. She asks what he did and he relays a simplified version of him murdering two shitty Sec Guards. The Sec Commander is intent on hunting down and as Bix goes to have some fun we switch to Syril Karn. The Seargent he brings in is pretty hardcore in ow he sees the Order of the Empire. The talk about how they need have a stronger hand to deal with the "Formenting" as he says. This man is what appears to be a failed or wannabe stormtrooper. His eyes got all beetle-like as he talked about dealing with the "Formenting" Back to the Andor Household we see Maarva (yes I had to look up a list of names because I'm reviewing so many shows) is holding something tight. Cassian meanwhile is in his crash ship room. Going through whatever is on his mind. This makes me think the flashbacks to Kenari are about the trauma of losing his sister I mean that is an obvious point, but there is definitely more to the story. The kids zone in on the crashed ship and we see the oldest heading in to investigate alone. The sizzling of electricity fills the air as she uses a tongue click to summon the kids. As the music intensifies we switch to a ship flying over a planet, this appears to be Ferrix again. Whoever this guy is he's definitely a tad sketch. LIkely a Rebel with how the droid tells him about "Safe Places" to land. And as he heads into the city our drummer dude opens the day to waken everyone. Bix wakes up with Perrin watching her from a seat. Bix and Perrin have a somewhat awkward short conversation over a cup of Caf. In his ship Cassian and B2EMO who seems to be somewhat depressed droid. Maarva pops into what I think is Cassian's room to see an old Kenari fighting staff covered in bits and bobs. Was she the one who the kids ran into? We are again in Kenari, the leader of the group is drawing closer as Cassian notices the bodies of the pilots. They are definitely humanoid, but have yellowish skin as one of them gets up and shoots the Kenari leader. The children take him out with their blow guns (how the hell did I not notice they were blow guns). The kids realize their leader is dead, killed by the invaders. THey pick her up, leaving her blow gun as they watch for more invaders. Cassian watches the dropped ship with an intense hatred as we once again switch to Ferrix. He runs into someone and we learn that yes, the mining venture on the actual planet fell apart. SO yeah, my theory was right, the kids were the survivors of a mining disaster. He pays for what seems to be a ticket somewhere. And as Pre-Mor people are coming in their strange blue and orange Imperial inspired uniforms (including those silly little hats). Mosk who is acting like a rent-a-cop wanting to be an Imperial Stormtrooper speaks to his people. Reminding them that the folk of Ferrix can go complain about Pre-Mor at the Territorial Forum. Karn meanwhile seems a bit unsure what to say as he gives a haphazard speech. I wanna say, their ship is clunking as fuck and I love it. Really shows how these guys mostly work as Industrial SEcurity. Why have a flashy ship when a company carrier does the same? So Skarsgard, is Luthen, our old seeming rebel, is on a sort of floating anti-grav bus. He ends up dealing with a man who just can't stop talking and moves to insert himself into a conversation Luthen doesn't want. The carrier draws closer to the primary town in Ferrix as the dump below shows us Cassian on a Mission. It's interesting how unlike the rest of the cast he's always in dark browns and reds. Everyone else is either in blue, orange, green or yellow.
Episode 3 "Reckoning" opens with the children slowly making their way into the downed ship on Kenari. The kid is Cassian, and we see more of the strangely yellow-skinned figures inside wearing suits with the Imperial Emblem on it. The ship itself appears pretty industrial with a central command bridge filled with various oscillating monitors. A central bank of consoles surrounded by clean mirror-like black surface. We switch back to the dusty mining yards after young Kassa bashes the side of the console. He's waiting for someone. So, quickly I looked it up, the people with the yellowed skin are Republic soldiers which makes their death all the more strange. The man from early, Luthen exists from his transport and meets up with Bix. This is interesting, as we switch to the Pre-Mor fucks coming in out of hyperspace. We switch to Maarva and CLem Andor preparing to salvage the frigate. The kid they find is Kassa, and as we switch back to the weird LAAT like ships coming into the space above the town on Ferrix. This scene as the Pre-Mor Sec goons start looking switches places with Clem and Maarva. She's able to sedate the kid as the Republic Frigate is close to appearing. The Security goons appear at Maarva's place of residence and push after announcing they have a warrant. Bix pops back up at work where her friend Timm stalks off a bit sus. Mosk is going off the deep in with his bully-boys. They detect where Cassian is hiding just as Luthen arrives in the warehouse. The pretty orange and teal blue outfits of the Pre-Mor sec teams stands outa gainst the duller browns and yellows of the people of Ferrix. The darker browns and reds of the buildings also makes them stand out more than a sore thumb. A friend of Bix alerts her that the Corpos are there for Cassian as the rat reveals himself. Kerabast, Timm, you damn fool. Luthen asks cassian where he got his gadget, and Kassa being the foolish impatient bastard just pushes for more money. He wants to know how Cassian got the box, he's either a fucking spy or he's too good for his own good.  Cassian scoffs at how easy it is to fool the damn Imperials. Luthen points out that his life isn't going to stay the same and he mentions how Clem was hanged. Again, Kerabast. Luthen invites Cassian to join his little OPA, I MEAN REBEL cell, and suddenly we are in the town center. Several citizens begin to bang on things to warn rest of the town that the Corpos are there. Mosk calls it intimidation, but the fool likely knows its a warning. If they can get to the bell ringer to sound out a warning everyone on Ferrix including the rebels will know. Corpos have them surrounded as Bix runs ahead of them to find Cassian and is stopped by a Corpo officer. In the old factory Luthe is working out an exit plan as he explodes some slap charges. This start a minor chain reaction with corpo team going down as the team enters with what's left and starts firing. Parts keep falling as Cassian hyperfixates on the box. Dodging bits of metal as men are being harmed and killed. Another corpo goes down as the last one shoots from above. The scene itself is well acted and timed. The falling debris adds a great level of tension as the entire factory comes down around them. They escape out of the factory as the last of the team is likely dead. Luthe and Cassian make their getaway as the younger man asks why they don't go for the box. Timm heads in to free Bix and one of the corpos shoots him. As the shooter is set away by the CO Bix is left with Timm's corpse on the steps. You can really see how Mosk is just a damn weekend milita-goer with his actions. Meanwhile, Karn pops into a room and scares off its inhabitants as we switch back and forth between all of the team. Maarva warns the corpo about what the banging actually means. "When its stops." All of the clanging ends, as all of the town goes quiet. The Sec corpos rush around taking up positions as you cans ee they aren't use to actual combat. Syril finds Cassian with a blaster pointed at his behind him. Luthen calls for Karn's life and Cassian grabs him as soon as he's able to make a call. The corpo who shot Timm is killed when he tries to launch the od and finds it weighed down. The Clanging was a way for the locals to work together to end the corpos. One comes upon Karn whose been tied up, as one of the speeders has been rigged with explosives. An old Ford-looking piece acting as a decoy and drawing the fire of the Pre-Mor Sec. They surround it after it crashes, with Mosk laughing and three of the men getting caught in another blast. Cass and Luthe speed off on a swoopbike leaving the corpos realizing their actions were all foolish and gungho. Switching back to t memories of Maarva we see her crying as she thinks of how she found Kassa and rescued him from Kenari. He himself just trying to find his sister. Bix meanwhile saved from being handcuffed and reaches for Timm only to be dragged off. We see the people of Ferrix in pain and the swoop darts off into the sunset. Karn stares into nothing realizing his foolish actions at listening to Mosk got his loyal men killed. That his actions while maybe correct were just the actions of a mall cop at playing tin soldier. We enter Luthe's snhip as starts to lift off and see the old ANdor ship doing the same. Cassian awakes on it to see the last visage of his planet. We get a swell of the music as Maarva watches them and suddenly we are back in the present and Cassian watches as they leave Ferrix. Hottakes:
The Twi'lek dancer holo in the pleasure house is a good example of how the galaxy sexualizes them.
I like  the style of the blue light and strange usage of triangular walk ways.
The fact this story seems to hinge on him finding his sister is a good lead into his reasons for being a Rebellion Spy.
The two men who followed him were the same kind of fools to start this story.
Bix is a nice addition to SW's growing scrappy technician cast.
I do like that they are translating the Arabesh for us.
Cassian is definitely a desperate motherfucker.
Damn the security fucks are definitely a bit too MAGA for my tastes.
Luthen has a definitely interesting vibe to him.
The Pre-Mor guys are all definitely similar to fucking Imperials with their corporate outfits and armor being straight out of Imperial Naval uniform design.
Their ship and shuttles even mimic the old LAAT gunships from the CLone Wars.
Timm's death was so fucking bittersweet, he ratted out Cassian and was shot for doing the right thing.
Watching the guy who killed Timm crash was cathartic.

They were aboard ship when the Raven came zipping above a swell and nearly collided with their Maester. His graying hair was dusted with spray as he glanced at the two ladies watching the bird in his hands. Removing the small note on its leg he sighed. "Lord Lucerys, Heir to High Tide, has been slain by Aemond," he replied and displayed the Black Dragon of Dragonstone. "i knew the Andals would do this!" Qwynn growled. Her wife leaned against her as the two women eyed the sky above them. "We need to settle in to our Holdfast and prepare. If this war burns the south they may call the northern banners," Denna said to her wife's ear. "Yes, and when they do, the Banshee of Ceallach will spear their riders from the Sky," Qwynn said grimly. --- Wow, so this is long time coming, but I have been sitting on my reactions to House of the Dragonf or the better part of two weeks. A mix of depression and watching my niece has slowed my words. I've also been pushing for a new fanfic to get finished up so I'm tired these days. Drained of a lot of my primary muse. IRL I have a customer-facing job which for someone like me is really exhausting social and mentally. And returning later in the night to recover can result in little time. Now that we are back though lets do this review! The Ugly This series did not hold back on the violence against LGBT. We knew that a lot of people were going to die. But I really can say that some of it has left a bad taste in my mouth more than a few times. Now, as I think about it though I would say the ending scene of Queen Aemma's death to me really set te tone for the brutality of this entire season. Maybe, it's my bitterness for how they ended GoT and how the showrunners of that show ruined Dany. Who knows. I'd sai the one thing I could do without in this season were the death of Ser Joffrey. A scene just depicting Criston as a total piece of shit who should have faced harder repercussions. Really, I know the guy is important but I'd rather his pretty face was you know maybe scarred up a bit more. Seriously! Onto the other person I hate, Three-Eyed Rat, Larys' brutality is beyond astounding. The scene where he orders the death of his own family was as sickening to me in some ways as the acting was superb. What made me want to just cut was that whole foot masturbation. Seriously, did we need to act such a graphic shitty scene? The Good Wow, the cast in this series has been just amazing. Paddy Considine showed us the peace and slowly dying LIvserys. Every time he was on screen he -was-  Viserys Targaryen. This was all made the better with Matt Smith as the utterly depraved and love-to-hate fuckboy, Daemon. The early parts seemed strange, but as we saw the Valyrians we were pulled in by them. These two clash in such a natural way I believed they were brothers! But one of the harder parts of this series was Milly Alcock's part of Young Rhae transitioning in Older Rae. Milly Alcock sells the sense of haughtiness one could only expect of a Targaryen Princess. The way she rides off in a huff at her father's hunt, and how she sleeps with Cole. Their young -puppy- love that rots into Criston's Incelnes was made only better as we switch to Emma D'Arcy. We see the Summer of rebelliousness sower into a woman whose been basically driven away by her own family. If the damn Hightower parts weren't so well acted this portion of the series would have been boring as fuuuuck. Counter of Milly's acting Emily Carey is a questioning and quiet girl who just wants her fund. To see her morph into Olivia Cooke's master class of the scorned friend was made me utterly hate the Greens. This is helped along by Rhys Ifans as Otto. I would say that if Otto hadn't been such a good counter to Daemon and a "Friend" to Paddy's Viserys this entire show would have flopped. Now let's get to the real power couple of this fucking series. Corlys (played by Steven Toussaint) was another Valyrian persona I wanted. Did he sell me as the Sea Snake, yes and no. In this series we see that the burning ambition of Corlys which would ruin his family. I just wish the man had more fucking options for wigs because whoever was doing his and the rest of the family DID NOT SEEM to understand that there are multiple styles of hair for POC. FFS people give the man a few different looks! Onto Rhaenys, damn, yeah she was one of the break outs of this series. Seeing her as this silent shadow in the first two episodes to evolve into a armor clad Valkjyr was -invigorating-. THIS makes me happy that she dies fucking epicly later in the series. My favorite scene is where she sits atop Meleys (Meraxes dammit) and to let the Greens live was, aweinspiring. Conclusion Okay, so I am running gout of stem on this, but House of the Dragon has definitely kinlded a renewed interest in the GoT TV verse. I was turned off by a few scenes,, but overall I'm happy with this new spinoff to the franchise. Honestly, I was turned off of the last few seasons of Game of Thrones that I refused to watch them. I ended season 7 and I fucking walked away. I said goodbye after they killed off Viserious. I've never watched anything but clips from the episodes onward. This series gives me hope that we can see more additions to the universe as GRRM pitters away on his book. I want to see animated episodes set during the Freehold. I want to watch Nymeria lead her people out of the ashes of her fallen civilization. That can only happen IF HotD does well enough for HBO to continue to greenlight things. Welp, let's see what we may get in Season 2. I need to read Fire & Blood, but I'l need to continue eating up fanfics for now! Story Idea I've decided to backburn my idea of a Dragon Riding series of short stories. I need to really absorb more ideas and theories before proceeding. I can say that I hope that the Rhae x Alicent story section grows in Ao3 and maybe some rare pairs in the ASOIAF / GoT verse grows its fandom in healthy ways!

"I paid the White Worm a visit," Qwynn told her wife as the two broke their fast. "What did she say?" Denna asked. "They slaughter anyone who tried to leave. And the Rat-Lord attacked her people." Qwynn was dressed in a black tunic and tight breeches as she leaned in close to her Dornish wife. "We can't stay here," Denna said, "I don't care if Lord Stark said to come we can't stay." "I agree, we head back for our ship." Qwynn agreed, she glanced at the two Dornishwomen guarding the door. "Thyra, get the horses and inform Karla we are heading for the ship." "If the Dragons wish to burn the south we'll wait it out," Denna said matter of factly. CW: Miscarriage and Child Death. ---- House of the Dragon S1E10 "The Black Queen". Well, this has come to the start, the Dance has begun and blood has been shed. The Dying Words of the Song Dream still ring out after the death of King Viserys I. Aegon II has risen to the Throne and Rhaenys has fled Kings Landing to inform the Blacks of the coming war. Aegon the Folly has come, and yes I'm calling him a Folly because he'll be a greatly terrible King! WE know this, and we know how it is his Nephew who will properly Succeed him. I have been preparing myself for this Episode. Hell, I know who dies, I did that on purpose. I wanted to react to their action of death and not the fact they died. So coming in, I have actually not spoiled parts of this for myself. And as the title screen hits we fade into a scene which I think is the Conqueror's Table. And it is, yes, we get another scene as Lucerys is hovering his hand over Driftmark. His inheritance.and Luke informs his mom she doesn't want his Title. We get a story from Rhae and Luke tells him mom how she's perfect. I do like how much she actually cares for her kids, and they seem to have respect for her. SO fucking counter to how ALicent's relationship with hers is still devolving. Rhaenys then appears and just blurts out about her cousin's death. She wants to be to the point and she just goes into a discussion. Rhaenya is physically struck by the news and we get a big dump of info. Rhae is obviously so stressed she appears to have had a miscarriage. Daemon is visibly angered and as we close to the miscarriage dammit. We see Jace being too violent and is called in to speak to Rhae. She just's in pain and informs her kids who get rightfully angry. Then she lays down th e line that only she may permit attack. Daemon is obviously in charge in this situation and Luke walks in to be a problem. Daemon ignores him and drags out the Kingsguard as he has obviously summoned Carez. The Blood-wyrm growls above him as he gives his choice. WE get shots of Caraxes looming and what I think is Syrax reacting to her Rider's pain. Yup, it has a yellow gold hyde, it's Syrax freaking out. Amost a mirror to the death of Queen Aemma we get a bloody and gory scene of miscarriage. This the pain and betrayl of what she is feeling. Okay though I didn't need to see the dead fetus. That was waaaay to much. But I get how this series is basically about women just being bombarded by cruel abusive folks. So yeah this scene fits with all the gore we've seen so far. It also is a solid visual trauma of what she is going through. Finally, Daemon pops u and we get a few of the baby being prepared by the Queen herself. The Silent Sisters who have take in it and just watch her. Walking down to the shore Daemon kneels in the sand as the Queen mourns her child and then holds a Draong Pyre for the baby. All of Vel-Targs are there. Both parents sit in quiet pain as we see one of the King's Guard back. So didn't kill them as sir Erryk appears to offer what is Viserys Crown. He reswears his oath before the Queen. THe sight of the Crown has reinvigored her as she is given her Father's crown and all before her kneel to swear their fealty to the Black Queen, Rhaenyra first of her name, Lady of the Seven Kings, Queen of the Andals, the Rhounar, and the First Men. THIS all happens in the FIRST 20 minutes. Holy shit this is a lot of plot and action we are covering. Side note here, the writing in this episode and the music was just killer. As Sir Erryk kneels to her we see how Rhae's resolution has exploded, Emma D'Arcy comes into her own here. The music fits as Rhaenys stands across. Meanwhile, the War Table is called and as we see amories being prepared the great Conqueror's Table has been manned. This is so damn cool as it lights up to show all of the carven names and marks of the Seven Kingdoms. WHERE WAS THIS THING IN GOT?! The War Council stares and then gives a bow as her full title is given. Rhaena offers the queen Wine as she stares at the table both nieces on her side. WE get a name of each loyal house and a mention of House Celtigar (a Valyrian House). WE get mention of Sir Borros and Lord Stark. WE get a list of the enemies as a Lord speaks up about the Dragons. ANd Daemon just takes over like the war happy little troll he is. A Green Dragon ship arrives at the Gates and is met Sir Daemon and his loyal Kingsguard. Otto pops up (Draaagon Bait) and out pops the Queen on Syrax in a show mirror to years upon years before. She lands as an angry Syrax just reinforces the scene. And Otto offers some pretty nice terms and Daeon scoffs at them. Lord Hightower gives a pretty long line of proof for the backing of Aegon and she basically calls out his shit. She tosses the Hand's pin away and we can see she's in pain. As the fools and Syrax get angry she tells them all to shove their cocks back in their pants. Daemon is getting mad again as she wants to keep peace and he wants war. In this scene we see how she really has the mind of a Queen. She is putting her family and her realm first than her own ego. Here we see just Rhaenys, Rhae and Daemon remain. But Rhaenys takes her leave as Rhae confronts her Nusband, or Huncle. She recites the Song at him and he grabs her throat and starts to choke her. Wow, talk about abusive shit as he chokes her and we see he is considering killing her. Matt smith is so fucking devious. "Dragons did." She sees the rage of the Dragon as Daemon acts like a prick to his wife. We switch to Corlys waking up on his sickbed to talk to his wife. Rhaenys comes to terms with him as she makes a point of him running away. She speaks of Daemon taking Vaemond's head and he talks about the over ambition of his family. She starts convincing him of how Rhaenyra is being smart. Corlys finally arrives to stand before the Painted Table. Corlys has come to do something. The Twins go to stand beside Luke and Jace with smiles. Corlys asks where Daemon is as he comes to view the table. He makes a point as she cannot rely on Oath,s but needs to affirm standing. He turns to view his Grandchildren. "Your father's realm was one of justice and honor." HE calls out the Hightower Treason and calls his banners for the Black Queen. He gives a bow calling her "your Grace" and the Queen looks to her cousin. She thanks them both and is genuinely happy. She ere's on caution as she is informed how the Velaryon Fleet is siding with her. Thus will begin the Gullet Blockade. Jace speaks up as the kids vow to deliver the messages to Lords Paramounts. A physical Dragon Rider delivering the message would send the message much clearer. As the sunsets, the kids come to speak to so that they kids will not engage in combat. Luke jups on the oath as we see Jace hesitate. Too bad fucking Vhagar in there as each child is informed of their targets. Luke is definitely terrified of what his mother says. Both dragons Arrax and Merax take off into the sky. As we see Luke atop Arrax in the back. Each Dragon is different in head and color. Showing us really how fucking different they all are. Lucerys flies into the skies above as we switch to Daemon deep in the caves of the Dragonmount. He sings an Old Valyrian song walks atop a massive dais with a single torch. He bows and sets down the torch as if looking for something. As a massive Dragon appears in fire. It appears to be almost jet black, is this the cannibal. He leans into almost seeming ready to eat him. THe thing's head looks a lot like Meleys. As we see Lucerys flying closer to what I think is storms end he lands in its courtyard to see the knights waiting for him. Suddenly, we see the form of Vhagar, who just appears. He speaks as the guards sweep him into the Throne Room for the Lord. Aemond has beaten him to the point. Borros acts the arse and waits to receive his message. He points out that the Dragons can't get their shit straight as Aemond is doing an impression of Dr. Evil and fixates on Luke. Borros repudiates his Oaths and as he points out his offer from the Greens far better. Aemond calls out Lucerys. He definitely is unhinged as he calls for Luke to give up his eye. Borros is definitely not happy as he finally gives Luke the chance to escape and Aemond is already got murder on the brain. Arrax definitely wants to leave as Vhagar is still looming in the background and is suddenly gone. WE can hear her in the background of the storm. Arrax leaves as we can see the storm flashing in the back.  The Dragon calls out as he climbs in the air and yet he can sense the Larger Dragon. As a distant rumbling growl comes out of the forescene Vhagar appears below like a shark beneath a seal. She looms over and comes behind like a mountain burst through the mountain. Arrax twists and turns in a descent to evade Vhagar, but the larger dragon and a mad Aemond are intent on killing the young Black Dynasty member. They fly above and yet again this stormy dread hangs over the scene. He is attacked as Arrax reaks out and fires a bit of fire at Vhagar which results in the massive Dragon going into fight mode. Vhagar chomps apart Arrax and kills Luke. Thus felling the first Dragon of the dance. Daemon climbs back into the room of the Painted Table, does he know? Yes, he does, he informs her of the death of her secondborn. She walks towards the fire and we see her seem to falter She grips her stomach once again as she leans forward in pain. Her child is dead because Aemond had to play chicken in the sky. This death is what finally resolves her to the painful decisions she will make in the future. Gay Canon Again, we see that the women of the Targaryen Dynasty are the ones actually thinking. Now while this episode lacked a lot of solid gay content it lends an idea of thoughts for anyone writing a story with one of the characters glimpsing the future mayhap. Rhae waking up from a night terror of her son dying. One that changes her status on her decisions of the future. Hottakes:
Rhaenys rolling in to inform everyone of Viserys' death in a manner that speaks to her growing impatience.
She has been through all of this shit and she wants to prevent war and yet she encourages it by siding with Rhae.
Daemon was a total asshole this entire episode. The abuse scene was beyond fucked up.
Watching everyone set up the Painted Table was a nice touch.
The scene of her losing her child was damn fucking brutal it is definitely a mirror Queen Aemma's death.
Erryk coming in with the Crown made my skin crawl at the gravitas of the acting. Seeing the painted table with everyone present was also damn good.
Otto's line about the validity of Aegon's Kingship was brutally out of Tywin Lannister's playbook.
Rhae's choking scene made me squick as fuck.
Corlys' entire scene talking about how both he and his brother's personal ego destroyed their family.
Luke's flight was nightmarish and claustrophobic.
Borros was right in that he has not real reason besides the oath of a dead man. Aemond toying with his nephew was cruel as it was obvious Arrax was likely going to overreact.
Jaceys determination in this episode was amazing. He and his mother really show a healthy dynamic in this episode.
Luke's actor really fucking sold Lucerys as believable and his death was completely out of nowhere and yes, it did make me cry.
