Stationary-- Waiting...
Early morning...
Looking outside to a sunless grey sky—Peculiar
Storms are on the horizon.
Lighting--Giving brief seconds of what’s to come.
Thunder shaking cracked and thirsty terrain.
Finally rain falls on soil, giving it much needed loving care.
Getting ready to leave, I put my arms into long sleeves of a coat.
The cold isn’t my friend.
Walking into a lukewarm shower—Unpleasant.
It’s autumn—Tis the season but it doesn’t resonate.
I look at the yellow almost brown dying plant life
I smell the dirt turning into mud—the air getting cleaner.
This day is not for me; I turn back and go inside.
This water is much needed—Life outside strives.
I stay stationary by my window—looking at a sunless, lifeless, dull sky.
Ironically it’s giving life to everything beyond this windows frame.

Sorry guys, Not a Poetry Post...
Just because you don't understand someone or their choices, doesn't mean they are crazy or they are wrong. Some people were thought to be crazy but in fact became successful. Here are some names of some people who were turned down and didn't give up. 1) Walt Disney (Need I say more?) 2) Steven Spielberg (E.T. or Jurassic Park.. That is all I have to say about him, amazing director) 3) J.K. Rowling (SHE WROTE HARRY POTTER, enough said.) 4) Albert Einstein (Freaking Einstein! He even won a Nobel prize people!!) 5) Theodor Seuss Giesel (Dr. Seuss- I mean it's the only thing I even read as a child) 6) Stephen King (One of the best writers ever) 7) The Beatles (They changed music forever and I am not even a fan of theirs in particular and I STILL appreciate that fact) 8) Michael Jordan (Hands down- Best basketball player in history) 9) Colonel Sanders (He didn't even start his dream until he was 65 and now look) & Finally 10)Thomas Edison-"If I find 10,000 ways something won’t work, I haven’t failed. I am not discouraged, because every wrong attempt discarded is another step forward."
So in conclusion- The next time you think someone is "STUPID" "WASTING TIME" or "CRAZY"... Think to yourself, are they crazy or are you just to AFRAID to do what they are doing. Everyone has dreams. The people who doubt your dreams are just afraid they CAN'T accomplish theirs. Don't get discouraged by someone telling you that you're crazy. Prove to them that you are just crazy enough to make it work.
I know this was long so if you stuck to the end, let me know. Thanks for reading.
I felt like this had to be said.
" I can't tell you the key to success, but the key to failure is not trying." -Ed Sheeran

“Uptight Drama Queen”
Dramatic— crying about it being stormy when it’s a light shower.
I seem to recall you saying this about me.
To quote you “uptight drama queen”
Do you know what you did to me?
Raised me in this unhealthy mindset
Telling me I overreact when I am upset.
I’m not allowed emotions.
Replacing me and real family with shallow daughters who in life feel nothing--Aim to feel nothing. Nothing.
Shadows in a pitch black hole.
Taking pills to “cure” pain-- destroying you.  Can’t you see that that’s insane?
Judge me for feeling emotions, for  feeling anything.
The loss of you-- cuts and slices me. I can feel the blood as it puddles beside me. I have no control. I can’t help someone who’s lost their way-- Their very soul contaminated.
Constantly belittling me? I even to this day aim to please.
I pictured something different at this moment in time, something real.  Or as real as I make believe.
In this reality ironically I’d have you and you’d love yourself and me.
Be a parent, a role model, someone I’d be proud to meet.
In this universe unlike my dream,
In this actual reality--
You:
- make poor choices
-only ask when you need something
-walk on me
-leave me no other way to be.
Exiling this messed up chaotic reality.
Just to find happiness, myself, and my inner sanity.
So judge me “uptight drama queen”
You aren’t here anymore.
I am tired.
I am done.
I am going to be free.
THIS is the last time; I’m sorry.

Whispers of the Wind
Death is death,
Dust is dust,
Ashes are ashes.
 Eternally bound here,
Chained to the ground,
Confined still.
 Never free,
Trying to break loose,
You hold on,
So tightly to my memory.
 In every single,
You hear me tell you,
“It’s okay, you can let go”
 Tears form,
It’s obvious you’re in pain,
You whisper,
“I know, I love you. I’ll try.”
 With spoken words,
Our bond shatters,
You let my soul free.
 I walk to heaven’s pearly gates;
Before walking in,
I turn and look down to you.
 Tears glisten in your
Softened sea foam colored eyes ,
I hear your burden lift.
 Calling to you;
Softer then the wind
“My love, my heart, my soul, your memory is
And always will be with me”
 You look up,
Blind—you can’t see me;
Just smile.

Religion
Religion— subjected to perception of a controlled mind.
Altruistic free thinkers wonder fields growing different beliefs.
           Controversy creates religious activists.
                                                                       Elicits anger and defense.
In the end, leaving one stuck in their own jail cell.
An egotistical hell.

One of my past favorites!
A simple kiss– purity in poetry.

Lost in Translation
Moonstruck.
In a multicolored daydream,
surrounded  in a vast emptiness; carried out by a rolling sea.
my thoughts blocked in an inexpressive brainstorm of chaos;
a chain of memories corroded in uncertainty.
creativity breaking, too much too often in one too many wrong directions.
busting, mixing, and running in between.
brilliant ideas lost in translation. .
Will they ever be seen?

A Girl I Once Knew
A chilling breeze, icy on her skin.
Flushed, Hollowed cheeks
Strands of messy blonde hair fall recklessly against a prominent collarbone.
Walking a dusty dirt road, kicking it up. Creating a haze.
Each step a moment, moving with grace. Content in the enigma,
Focused on the next stride;
A fragile frame, a shadowed silhouette in a cloud of dust.
An empty girl, a sister, a daughter, a friend. Lost in this field of depression.
Shallow.
Those who know just wait for her to break this scene.
She’ll smile again.

Finally an Update
I am a person who often takes breaks and lacks in the department known as consistency. I am easily influenced by my life and the chaos around me. I stop writing at a moments notice and it has nothing to do with anything except me. I write as a hobby but also a passion. Poetry compels me. Can this thing become a career? That I can no longer see in this or any reality. It is okay though, trust me because its true. I write for myself and enjoy sharing with you. I can apologize for my flaws in keeping a routine but in the end what will it really mean? So to those that stay around and care to read. I will post my poetry and appreciate you. Thank you.

Soaring Sunshine
A ray of sunlight Shines through aged, corroded rails. On a down fall into an uninhibited garden. Long forgotten, overgrown; Vines intertwine and leaves overflow, climbing up bars, reaching through rails into a muted grey sky. Aspiring light, to feel the warmth of the sun's glow. Blossoming, a sunflower; Symbolic of cheer in the midst of quiet chaos. Color despite a black and white lie. Imprisonment of happiness, not locked away physically. Mentally it's chained. Only sunshine soaring exposes what's real.

Here; A poem with scenery.
A poem with scenery, Something to make you believe; You are somewhere else, somewhere in a dream. Cascading, lush, varieties of green, itchy grass, and tall oak trees. Crisp, fresh, windy blue skies. The sound of a rolling river, rushing and dividing the land. A paradise, a zion, a field, a meadow, an opening.
Where you let go, finding out who is it you want to be. A place like heaven, a place of peace. You wish to be elsewhere– With a poem full of scenery. Escape anxiety- Life’s reality.
Breaking one tangent for another. Truth unseen. Freedom– A poem with, without scenery.

Image of Innocence
She stands still, looking like spring. Crisp, fresh, a light of color-- Bright fuschia against her pure porcelain face.
Her expression is cold, a sympathetic smile cracks her into warmth.
She is an enigma, a beautiful canvas. An image of innocence. She is a flower grown beneath acid, Beauty corrupted.
Is she spring? Beneath the gloss of her piercing blue eyes, I see rain falling from a bitter grey sky.
