This was basically a pic of Haku I traced over a version of Red Hood's costume and coloured it blue.

The description from the fic was "Dark blue hoodie, cargo pants and steel toed boots" and mentioned his smile so I left off the lower face mask.

Fan Art for icarus_chained's awesome series Wings Over Gotham.

They do a cool thing with Auras in the series and I wanted to try and draw it using the transparency trick.

I tried to think of a way to show at a glance the difference between Alphas and Omegas and decided to go with shapes.

I used pics from the old animated series as a bases for drawing the characters. I have descriptions of each pic and solid versions behind the cut in case the transparency trick isn't working for anyone.

In The Cowardice of Heroes it's explained that as an alien Clark is both an alpha and an omega. He keeps his omega aura tucked in as Superman and his alpha aura tucked in as Clark.

In The Aura Eaters Batman plays target for the invader by flaring out his aura and daring them to chase him. I tried to show here that Bruce's aura spreads out over the whole city.

The Cowardice of Heroes also has The Penguin crash an auction. Hopefully his aura looks spiky enough.

In Homecoming Jason comes home after escaping the League of Assassins with Damian. I tried to show his shredded aura by cutting up the squares so they look sharp and shattered. And Damian's aura is tucked up close.

In Monsters All the inner circle (bar Bruce) meet up. Jim Gordon, Dr Leslie Thompson, Pamela Isley and Oswald Cobblepot.

I have a snippet but no fic to use it in so I figured I might as well just post it.

Random person: “I'm telling you Bruce Wayne is Batman’s Sugar Daddy.”

Other random person: “Nah man, you're reading way too many tabloids, that's not it at all.”

“OK so how do you think he’s paying for all those weird gadgets?”

“Clinical trials.”

“What?”

“Listen, I did this soap thing a while back.”

“Soap thing?”

“Yeah, some soap company wanted to make sure their new product was ok to sell so did a clinical trial. It was easy money. All I had to do was keep track of if I got any rashes or anything. Decent pay, and I got free soap for a month.”

“In Gotham?!”

“No, you kidding? I don't have a death wish. You don't volunteer to be a test subject in Gotham. This was back when I lived in Star City.”

“OK so what's this got to do with Batman?”

“Gotham’s got the record for the city with the most amount of gas attacks in the world, right? So we all need antidotes for whatever venom or pollen or toxin that’s going around. But whenever a big name rogue has a new scheme they tweak with their formula, so we need all new ones every attack.”

“Yeah, so?”

“So how do you think the hospitals always have antidotes to hand out. You know how long it takes things like that to go to human trials in other places? Yet somehow there’s always something available within a week.”

“So?”

“So who's the first one out there fighting these villains, who definitely will need the antidote first thing? The perfect person to test things since he actively seeks out the worst new dangers?”

“Batman.”

“Exactly, Batman. So if he were to volunteer to test a new antidote, and they work for him, it means hospitals and stuff could start churning it out for the rest of us. You know Wayne buys up those antidotes in the millions to give them out for free. I bet those pharmaceutical companies are making buckets of money.”

“You really think big pharma is paying for Batman.”

“Listen a guy that runs around as a giant bat is definitely crazy enough to sell his body to science. There are some really big companies out there, I bet they can probably keep him in a new batmobile every week.”

“Dang, I hate how that actually makes sense.”

Oh 'tweens, how I've missed you. I haven't had them since the old Flash days.

I decided to test out how animation works in Krita by doing a Blob Ghost mainly because it was just one step up from just doing a ball.

The background I modified from a screenshot on the Danny Phantom wiki.
