Being an artists subject, sitting for hours, days, what seems like months on end. Having been studied in requested silence, just the two of you fill an empty private studio. Stealing stares and keeping still your boredom insues, your mind begins to wander, becoming restless and desperate for interaction.
You move out of position.
He notices and walks over immediately and correctly repositions your aching limbs, your faces almost touching as he places his rough hand on your chin, delicately tilting your head up to his perfect angle.
'Just stay like that for me Y/N' he whispers softly in your ear. His warm breath tickling your ear, sending goosebumps over your skin.
Your pleading eyes meet his, dart to his lips and back to his dark eyes a second time, his fingers linger on your jaw line a moment longer as he marvels your neckline and smooth skin. Holding eye contact with his, your heart begins to race as he looks down over your longing expression, tucking a stray hair behind your ear. Your breathing quickens and you begin to lean forward anticipating a kiss.
He abruptly stands, without a word he beckons with his hand to keep my chin up and turns, returning to his work like nothing happened. You steady your breath as he leaves, desperate to be held by the man whos sketched every inch of your form for weeks.
As he continues perfecting your portrait you notice, a sly smile spread at the the corner of his mouth just as you let out another aching sigh in his direction.
You contemplate moving out of position again, just before his teasing face is hidden behind the easel once more.
