i’m sure most ppl expected this so i’m not gonna make a big deal out of it but!! yes i am going on hiatus for an unspecified amount of time.

it’s honestly quite simple, i’ve just been losing interest in most aspects of kpop aside from the music, which makes writing for it a lot harder than before. i also dealt with a lot of burn out for months and still forced myself to write which only made it worse. lastly, i’m an executive of two clubs at my school this year on top of all my classes, so finding time to write would be even worse than it was before :’) !

YEAh that’s kinda it! for now my works will stay up, moots can dm me for my disc/spotify!! even if we’ve barely spoken pspsps i wanna stalk ur music cmere 🤲 a special shout out to my emoji anons too, you’re all amazing people ilysm, especially those that have been stuck with me for so long <3 (u know who u are!!)

"Venti Bro! I'm here!" Y/n exclaimed kicking open the door to the male's bedroom with plastic bags full of snacks that both of you enjoyed with huge grin on your face.

Said male turned in his chair to look at her and gave her a signal to wait a moment. "Sorry chat, my friend came over with food. Gotta talk to her real quick." Venti said to his stream chat taking off his face cam and muting his mic then his cat ear headphones.

"Sorry, Venti. Didn't know you were streaming." Y/n said a bit panicked.

Venti chuckled. "It's fine. Calm down, you got what I ask for?" He asked.

"Oh! Yeah, yeah I did! Here, it's all in this bag." Y/n said handing him the bag in her left hand.

"Awesome. You're so sweet, thank you." Venti said with a smile walking back over to his desk.

"So, I'll leave you to it then." Y/n said making her way towards his bedroom door.

"Wait, hold on. Stay for a bit." Venti said.

"Okay, if I'm not going to be a bother." Y/n said.

"Of course not. You never are." Venti said blushing a bit at the last thing he said.

"Kay. I wanted to spend time with you anyways." Y/n said plopping onto Venti's bed.

Venti watched her get comfy on his bed with her snacks be her side. Venti turned his chair away from the girl on his bed with a slight blush on his face, he sighed. He put his headphones back on, he didn't unmute or turned his cam back on since he knew that his chat was going to say something.

He's liked Y/n for years now and it's getting bad to the point where he doesn't even want her around. But, she doesn't know that. After calming down his heart and his red face, Venti unmuted and turn on his cam.

"Sorry that took so long chat, now where were we." Venti picked up where he left off for 20 minutes until chat saw Y/n in background and they went off.

Venti looked over at chat since he noticed how fast it was going, his bluish green eyes widened at the chat asking who Y/n was he looked over his shoulder at the woman, who was chilling on his bed scrolling through her phone, munching on snacks.

'Damnit! She's in face cam range. Okay, Venti play it cool.' Venti thought. He took a deep breath and thought about what to say.

"That's my friend, Y/n, Chat. Don't worry about her, we're just hanging out." Venti said.

"Eh? Not really but sure you can say that!" Y/n chuckled.

Venti's mic picked it up and chat went wild. Saying how much they like her voice and saying she's funny with that sarcastic comment. Venti huffed, rolling his eyes.

"Chat, you're here for me not her. Stop simpin'," Venti turned his chair over to Y/n, who was smirking at him. "And you stop trying stealing my viewers!" He shouted.

"Wow, dude chill," Y/n said getting up from her spot on Venti's bed and walked over to him. She took a seat in his lap, taking his headphones of his head and putting them on her. "I am stealing your viewers." She smirked.

Venti blushed not just from her bold actions but the fact that she's just hijacked his stream. "Hello, chat! Venti.exe is not working at the moment so I, Y/n will be taking over." Y/n laughed as chat went crazy

Venti groaned, snatching his headphones from Y/n's head. "Hey!" She exclaimed.

"Stop it, Y/n." Venti mumbled softly, he was still a bit flustered since she was still in his lap.

"You're no funny, Venti." Y/n said.

Chat was going off on how cute the two were together and started to ship them.

"Don't call me Venti when I'm live. I'm Barbatos." Venti said.

"But that's your real name, Dummy. Venti is your nickname." Y/n said raising an eyebrow.

"Shut it, don't tell them that!" Venti exclaimed.

Y/n scoffed. "Whatever you say, Barbatos." Y/n said.

Venti sighed. Y/n frown then perked up again as an idea popped into her head.

"You know since we're live right now. That means I can finally do this." Y/n said turning to face Venti grabbing both sides of his face and pulling him into a kiss.

Venti's heart rate increased as his face flushed red when the girl he's been in love with for years is kiss him, live on his stream in front of thousands of people. He melted into the kiss wrapping his arms around his waist, pulling her closer. It was sweet and passionate kiss so there was no doubt in Venti's mind that Y/n felt the same about him as he did her.

Once Y/n pulled away, mostly for air, Venti and Y/n's foreheads touched as they looked into each other's eyes paying chat no mind as it moved at light speed.

"You sneak..." Venti trailed off then chuckled. "That's why I fall for you in the first place."

"Good! 'Cause you're never going to get rid of me." Y/n said to Venti, wrapping her arms around his neck to hug him.

"Would never dream of it." Venti said with smile.

“wow…” he gazed at the foreign scenery around him, the breeze was cool, gentle and welcoming. inazuma had a more lively atmosphere then snezhnaya, kids were out playing and merchants were yapping.

although he could feel a few stares every now and then, he took it upon himself to ignore them and continue roaming the streets of inazuma. his gaze rapidly went from one thing to another, trying to take it all in. things were nice when he could take a break from his harbinger life.

as he continued walking, he noticed two familiar figures chatting about near a food stall. it couldn’t be..

“well, who do we have here?” he said, sneaking up behind them. he received an unpleasant look from who turned out to be lumine, as she placed her hands on her hips.

“why are you in ina-“ “YOU’RE BACK IN INAZUMA!!” lumine was cut off by the other familiar person, the bright and cheerful yoimiya, she bounced up and down, clearly expressing her excitement. yoimiya loved everybody, and it was clear.

“ahaha… well, i guess i’m just on a little vacation.” childe claimed, awkwardly rubbing his nape.

the three all had a short chat together, discussing older memories and their plans for the future.

“my feet are getting pretty tired here, do you guys wanna keep chatting over a bite to eat?” the bubbly girl asked, “how about uyuu restaurant? let’s go!” she proceeded to happily march away before even receiving a response. lumine and childe sighed in unison, trailing after the energetic yoimiya.

as they opened the doors, the smell of fresh cuisine wafted through the air. it was enough to make their stomachs rumble. yoimiya giggled to herself, gesturing for the other two to follow.

on the way to finding a seat, yoimiya paused in her tracks. lumine and childe exchanged confused glances, as they turned back yoimiya was already across the room, chatting with a young looking blue haired girl.

lumine recognized her in an instant, kamisato ayaka of the kamisato clan. lumine was unaware that yoimiya and ayaka were so close.

as the two approached her, she apologized, “sorry for wandering like that.. aha.. but this is my friend kamisato ayaka! although i believe she is already familiar with the traveller..”

childe willingly brought his hand forward, intending to shake hands. although he was clearly unaware of inazuman customs, as ayaka ended up bowing her head out of respect. “o-oh! my apologies! i’m not used to japanese etiquette.” he said frantically, quickly bowing his head in return.

“it’s not a problem,” she said with a chuckle, what’s your name?” she asked politely.

“you can call me childe, it’s a pleasure to meet you. is it alright if we sit here? i’d love to make a new friend.” with a nod, they all sat around the table, getting comfortable on the carpeted floor.

the four instantly got along, their conversations were filled with laughter and cheer.

“lumine, how did you meet childe?” ayaka asked, wiping her chin with a napkin.

she swallowed her food quickly, almost choking on it. “it’s… a very long story that i’m not sure i can tell.” she replied, casting a slight glare towards the ginger. he laughed awkwardly, ignoring her glance.

“but i guess after some time i’ve been able to realize he’s not as bad as he seems, he just has some… interesting motives.” she scooped up a spoonful of warm, fresh rice and shoved it into her mouth.

“after hearing about you and your crazy feats. it almost seems like you’re immune to any sort of weakness..” yoimiya pondered, stirring her noodles around.

lumine snapped out of her gaze, putting down her spoon. “actually, you’d be surprised.” she said mischievously, childe stared at her out of confusion.

she couldn’t mean… childe gulped, looking away and continuing to eat his food.

while trying to take his mind off of what lumine was getting at, he felt a quick, gentle poke to his side.

“WAH!” he shrieked, curling in and dropping his chopsticks that he was struggling to use.

lumine snorted at his reaction, “see? i think it’s pretty hilarious.” she sent another evil poke towards him, easily breaking through his defence.

“stoOHOP!” he growled, shoving her away. “i don’t know what she’s talking about.” he pouted.

“you’re ticklish?? that’s so cute!!” yoimiya said delightfully, scooting over to get closer to childe.

“noho… please.. don’t do this..” he felt his heart hammering in his chest as yoimiya and lumine crept closer, whilst ayaka sat across the table with a gentle smile on her face.

lumine darted towards the ginger, swiftly grabbing his arms and pulling them up.

“yoimiya now!!”

before childe could protest, he felt a pair of hands scribbling mercilessly against his stomach.

“waHAHAHAIT STOHOHOP!” he squealed, squirming and bucking to try and escape yoimiya’s nimble fingers.

her hands were delicate, gently dancing over his body and sending a tingling sensation straight to his brain, turning it into mush.

he fought against lumines grip, but to no avail. yoimiyas soft tickles were somehow ridding him of all his strength, all he could do was laugh.

“ayaka!! come get in on this!” lumine said through her own laughter.

she froze, “are you sure it’s okay? i.. don’t want to hurt him or anything..”

lumine gave her a reassuring smile, “don’t worry!! this is how we have fun.” she had to speak loudly so ayaka could hear over childes bellowing laughter and yoimiyas cooing.

“if you insist.” ayaka scooted herself towards the hysterical boy and inspected him.

childe attempted to protest, but found himself unable to form any words.

ayaka hovered her hands over his body, deciding where she should tickle him. this was driving childe insane, the anticipation made him feel extremely giddy.

after what felt like forever, ayaka’s hands gently landed on his underarms, beginning to lightly torment the area.

“GAH!! NOHOHO!!” he pleaded, the tingly sensation invaded his body and his mind.

the torture went on for a couple minutes, although it felt like forever for the poor boy.

once lumine noticed childe was truly reaching his limit, she gestured to the others, childes body went limp as the girls removed their hands.

he panted for air, covering his face that was stained with tears of laughter.

“that was fun!!” yoimiya clapped her hands childishly.

“nohot…. for mehe…” the redhead mumbled, his chest rising up and down with each deep breath he took.

“sorry if we took it too far. but i must admit, this is pretty fun.” ayaka said, fumbling with her fingers.

lumine gave him a hard smack to the stomach, “he won’t admit it, but he really doesn’t mind.” childe groaned, punching lumine in the ribs.

it randomly popped up on the table in front of her because she needed something to cool her dough down while the refrigerator was still being wired.

I’m a female Sagittarius , my mbti is intj, I have a high pain tolerance. I can actually sing really well but only when I’m alone. I never wanna drink alcohol in my life and I secretly despise it. Loki really doesn’t want to be here right now.

He usually likes the endless parade of parties and festivals, all the banquets that keep Asgard’s halls filled to the brim. Loki has certainly done his time in attending a great number of them, in walking in alongside Thor to the sounds of cheers and applause after yet another successful adventure in some world few have heard of and fewer still have seen.

Today, though, even the bright haze of a celebration can’t dull Loki’s sharp tastes enough for him to truly enjoy this. It all seems a little too much; the decorations just too gaudy, the shouts just too loud. Normally, Loki would take this as a sign that he needs to get offworld again, but he swears he came back just the other day from a similar trip.

Maybe it’s all catching up to him, this never ending cycle of battle and bacchanalia, skirmish and soiree. He needs to do something to clear his head, but at the moment, all that comes to mind is leaving. The night’s festivities have barely started, though, so all Loki can do is look longingly at the doors and imagine himself passing through them.

It appears he isn’t the only one missing the illusion of privacy, however. One glance over his shoulder and Loki spots another person hovering on the edges of this jolly function. On closer inspection, Loki realizes that he’s seen her before– Lady Y/N, the rare combination of a good fighter and an excellent scholar. She doesn’t back away from drawing blood nor learning languages, which means that she should have been on Loki’s radar far sooner.

She’s caught him looking by now, and to save face, Loki heads her way as if he’d been meaning to talk all along.

“Not one for the celebration?” He asks wryly.

Y/N shakes her head. “I’m not the right kind of person for it. I don’t drink, so that limits how much fun I could have here.”

Loki grimaces in understanding. “Yes, I’ve come to understand that the only way to appreciate the festivities is to kill enough of your brain cells through careful doses of mead. I can see why you’d be less inclined to follow that sort of pattern.”

“You seem less inclined as well,” Y/N comments, “Why’s that?”

“It doesn’t suit me as well,” Loki says simply, “I suppose I’m looking for a better way to spend my time.”

Y/N glances around them, then flashes Loki a sudden grin. “In that case, how about we find it together? I wouldn’t mind an escape.”

“Neither would I,” Loki declares impulsively, and that’s all it takes to convince the two of them to leave the festivities behind. Perhaps they’ll go looking in the library for some amusement, or wander the grounds outside the palace as the sun sets. Regardless, he’s suddenly sure that he wants nothing more than to be right here with her.

ೃ this is my very first writing contribution to the genshin fandom, so i hope everyone likes it! after 5 months of playing genshin, i think it’s safe to say my brainrot for it has finally consumed me and i’m confident enough to brew something up! <3

CHILDE:

– You and Childe are the perfect embodiment of the best friends to roommates trope. Whenever you wanna sleep in for 5 minutes more and you’re about to run late for your first class, Childe never fails to slowly drag you out of your bed, laughing as he does so. “Wake up sunshine!” is the first thing you always hear in the morning and you don’t complain if you get to hear his smexy voice anyway. He is a confident flirt and is not afraid to show you how much he cares or how much he pines over you.

– He’s always always there to save the day. There was a time when your classmates stood you up on the group project you were making, and guess who comes up to you with glitter, glue, and colored paper? Childe, of course! He stayed up until the wee hours of the night with you just so he can help you finish it. He even promises to set things in a “very civil way” with your absolute jerk groupmates the very next day. You practically hang out with him 24/7 as most of the time he just barges in your shared apartment with some amusement park tickets on hand or to some expensive yoga or judo class. There’s never a dull moment with him and with each passing day, the more you fall harder for him.

– After a morning jog with him and seeing cute little dogs frolicking around with their married owners, Childe suddenly had the urge to adopt a dog with you. But, due to a no pets rules established by the landlord, the two of you opt to owning hamsters instead! Childe named his hamster, narwhal (after his favorite animal of course!) whereas you named yours bunny, to match his irrelevant pet name picking. your hamsters both share the same house/cage and even they are pining over each other.

– His siblings visit a lot, especially Teucer. At this point, there was never a day the little boy didn’t ask when are you and Childe going to finally become “playground playmates” (a term for lovers that they use in second grade apparently) since the two of you are living with each other and seem so close. Childe is always able to successfully change the topic and shift away from talking about the shared feelings that the both of you have for each other. But, alas, the day had finally came to be and during your monthly trip to the amusement park, Childe confidently confesses to you on top of the ferris wheel.

“So... everyone in my life knows that you’re my best friend. Yea, that’s pretty cool and all but... Can we be more than just that (Y/N)? Is there hope if I think there could be something between us?”

DILUC:

– Diluc is your posh and rich roommate who sounds and looks too good to be true. The fact that you’re roomies with the literal heir to the country’s biggest wine and beverage company sounds like something straight out of a fanfic. But, it was of his volition to decide to live in a penthouse near Teyvat University. It was the doings of his step-brother Kaeya who tricked him into getting a roommate so that he won’t be alone for the rest of his college years... aaand that’s where you come in. practically barged into his life, but, you were a blessing. an angel sent from the skies.

– He’s quite cold and unapproachable at first, only greeting you whenever he sees you but never bothered to engage in small talk with you. Even if the both of you go to the same university. It wasn’t until your second month as roommates, when you accidentally had too much to drink after a friends’ night out. You come home to see him in the living room, drinking grape juice from a wine glass, and watching a rerun of Hannah Montana. You practically collapse at the front door, he rushes to you and helps you up as you drunkenly confess to him in tears how you wanted to become much closer to him especially since the two of you are going to spend the rest of your college years together. That was when Diluc realized how distant and aloof he’s been and vows to make it up to you.

– Diluc is very talented. Albeit in very discreet way, he makes sure to make use of his talents especially if it’s an opportunity to make memories with you. He is an amazing cook as much as he tries to deny it, He’s a secret virtuoso caught in 4k when you impulsively bought a guitar one time and you asked if he knows how to play, and he does so well. He practically serenades you in the most non-obvious way possible. Lastly, He’s very athletic. You invited him to play tennis one time, betting that if he won, you would do his bidding for the rest of the week. Before you could even blink, he wins. His “punishment” for you was that you accompany him in binge-watching TV Dramas. Grey’s Anatomy and Downtown Abby are just some of the shows the two of you would watch. It is absolutely adorable seeing him so invested in these dramas. and since the next on Diluc’s list were sit-coms, you were preparing yourself to answer his questions on the context of jokes that he didn’t get. In a poor attempt to flirt with you, he calls out your name and recites in the most Joey Tribbiani voice he could muster, “How you doin?” You were laughing so so hard that night because his pick up line actually worked on you and suddenly your realizations came full circle: you were very much in love with him too.

– His naturally cool yet shy nature had always gotten the best of him. He’s always wanted to ask if you wanted to carpool with him to school. Riding with him in his Tesla sportscar that goes 150 Mph? Heck yeah. However, it took quite a while before he could muster up the courage to ask you (4 months of being roommates until he finally popped the question) Since then, the two of you go home to and from University whenever you had similar schedules. Ever since then, Diluc had began to soften. His cold and hard facade slowly melted. Asking if you could help tie his floofy red hair then he’d let you play with it and let you style it in different ways. He takes you out on café dates during lunch breaks and take you out to watch a movie after both of your late night lectures. Everyone in campus thinks the two of you are practically together at this point. All that was left was to bare your feelings with one another through a fumbling and awkward confession.

“Words cannot not suffice these feelings I’ve been harboring for you since the very beginning. I L-like you a lot. Do you feel the same way too?”

KAEYA:

- Everyone loves Kaeya. Your friends and family, The School Faculty, The owner of the Convenience Store from down the street, The old lady who lives next door, The little kids from down the hall, and even the angry brown poodles from the farthest apartment to your right absolutely loved him. it was hard to keep up with having a roommate that not only were you crushing so hard on, but also had such a vibrant social life. Kaeya interacts and socializes with a lot of people and he admits that it does tend to get tiring at times. But, if these sacrifices lead to coming home to his cute roommate who has captivated his heart since Day 1, then it’s all worth it.

— Despite how warm and friendly he may seem, Kaeya is a very private person. He’s brought two or three friends like Jean, Lisa, Albedo, or Rosaria. But, only to discuss school affairs. He wasn’t the kind of person who trusts others easily, even if he was giving off the impression that he was a trustworthy and reliable person himself. He’d much rather spend time with you on days off from school. He may be a party guy on the outside (he insists he does it for future connections when he graduates) but he’s quite a homebody. Kaeya is the type to watch korean dramas and anime with you, go on late night convenience store cravings, and these always resulted in a perfect evening spent with him. When the both of you are fully immersed into the anime and things get a bit cozy, you rest your head on his shoulder, huddling for warmth.

— Kaeya would always come home with a little something for you. May it be take-out food, A trinket, a board game, an accessory, and even skincare products. The indigo-haired man is very particular about self-care and you bet that he’s bought different kinds of face masks, ointments, and even matching cute headbands just for the two of you! He’s very flamboyant and flirts with you a lot. Trying to impress you with pick up lines and suggestive jokes, but you always thought that he was just joking around because that was always a part of his personality. It was always a part of him. For Kaeya on the other hand, it seems to him that you don’t take him seriously and it's possible that you don’t return his feelings at all. He had to set things straight and it didn’t take long until Kaeya found the perfect opportunity to do so.

— With the help of practically everyone in the apartment, Kaeya is about to surprise you with a candle-lit dinner up on the apartment rooftop. His sly smooth-talking quickly convinced you that the both of you were just going to go out on your nightly convenience store trips. Your curiosity grows when he takes you by the hand, covering you with a blindfold, and whispering to your ear, “Do you trust me?” Gripping onto his hand tightly, the both of you go up some stairs and you reply, “Yes Kaeya, I do.” He slowly uncovers the shield from your eyes and your eyes sparkle at the sight of the candle-lit dinner, complete with jazz music, and a romantic view of the city.

“(Y/N)... You are the most precious person to me. I hope you can take me seriously, especially my feelings. I am saying this with my heart in my hand and with nothing but genuine love in my soul.”

ZHONGLI:

— Zhongli is truly husband material. You’re saying this as his friend, as his roommate, and as someone who’s absolutely smitten over him. He’s a third year environmental archaeology student at Teyvat University. Gentle, kind, and has nothing but wise and intelligent things to say. your lovestruck self can’t help but just admire him from afar, not knowing that he too has been entranced by you ever since you moved in.

—He's always the first to wake up in the morning. The first thing he does is make you a cup of coffee. He's got your favorite memorized, (Coffee with cream. Not to sweet and not too bitter.) The both of you own matching mugs, (written in colored scribbled letters, “The Wise Roommate” for Zhongli and “The Cute Roommate” for you.) He always wants to spend his free mornings with you. Both of you have different schedules so you never see each other at Campus and this was the only blissful time of the day you can spend with one another. Once you get home for dinner, (Zhongli is always the first to get home if he doesn’t stay too long at the library or strolling around the city) If it’s your turn to cook or if it’s his, he never forgets to brew you oolong tea after dinner. A perfect chance for the two of you to just talk the night away and engage in deep and meaningful conversations.

—Zhongli fell in love with you because you just quietly listen to him. Sometimes, you would share your thoughts and insights, even sharing your own personal knowledge that Zhongli had not known prior. You were one of the very few people in his life whom he could talk about absolutely anything with. Well, who wouldn’t listen to a handsome man who has a voice as smooth as butter? He is very passionate about his studies. Taking a lot of extra courses and spending a lot of money on his research. and so, most of the time, he spends all of his Mora on his extra studies (excluding the money he needs to pay for rent) and other interesting antiques. You understood why though. So, instead, you ask him to accompany you to do mundane chores. Going grocery shopping, doing the laundry and cleaning the apartment. He always helps in any way he can. The prying eyes of people around you and the old lady fr next door boldly coming up to you to ask if you and Zhongli were a married couple. You blush profusely whereas Zhongli coolly denies the woman's claims. It hurt quite a little but who were you to complain?

— It was during one of your night strolls with Zhongli. He had invited you out after dinner under the guise of wanting to have some fresh air and find a clear spot for the fireworks from a nearby festival. Your heart was thumping loudly to a non-existent rhythm, blissfully unaware that Zhongli was feeling a burst in his chest too. He clears his throat and his shoulders straighten. Zhongli puts his hand on your shoulder and breathes deeply. His cool and gentlemanly aura still radiating off of him as always. A wonderful array of colors fill the sky as his lips began to form the words he's always wanted to say:

"Tonight is beautiful isn't it? I thought that this would be the perfect time to open my heart up to you... You are a diamond in the rough that few see the beauty of. My beloved– Will you accept my feelings?

XIAO:

— Having a popular twitch streamer as your roommate was a one in a million chance. Especially if you’re not even an influencer or internet figure yourself. But, how did this come to be? Why have you developed a crush on Xiao aka VigilantYaksha without knowing who he was? A gamer with over 6 million followers on different social media platforms? Simple, a high-end apartment near Teyvat University had a special discount if you were willing to be roommates with someone. It’s an amazing deal, near your school, cost-efficient, and you believed the 10% chance of scoring a hot roommate as seen on reality TV and romantic comedies. It was like rolling through a Gacha Game and getting a 5 star character. As that “character” is soon to be revealed as Xiao.

— Things started off rocky at first. On your first day, he flatly welcomed you by the door, introduced himself, then quickly retreated back to his room. As soon as you locked eyes with him, he gave off a certain cold and unfriendly aura. You wanted to get to know him better. Maybe with a little love and care, he could open up to you and you could become friends! That same day, you had mistakenly thought of your room as his and you walked in on him streaming a horror game. He wasn’t spooked by the jumpscares. But instead, he was looking at you in horror because you’ve just exposed yourself to thousands of people. You wave at the camera, apologize, and left. Since then, his fans, (called the Anemo Tofus) have been shipping the two of you together. Creating fanfiction and fanart of Xiao and the mysterious roommate that accidentally walked in on him. They practically begged Xiao to at least talk a little bit about you, to which, he declined. When you surprised him with dinner (as a little treat since this was your first week with him) He sits across the table from you, his eyes gazing deep into yours, as he pops the question, in a very tsundere tone: “Would you like to appear in my streams? T-the Anemo Tofus wanna learn more about you. B-but, if you don’t want to, it’s alright! You don’t have to-” You cut him off before he could continue his doubts, “Xiao! What are you saying? I’d love to!”

— There was something blossoming between the two of you after that particular dinner with him. Starting with your first “roommate video” that you had thought of when you were brainstorming for video ideas. It was an Almond and Mapo Tofu mukbang whilst the two of you answered questions from fans! The viewers noticed how visibly comfortable he was around you despite his usual reserved attitude. He was cracking up a lot more sarcastic and self-deprecating jokes whilst Tofu filled both of your mouths. Outside of the confines of social media and inside the comfortable space that was your apartment, you and Xiao grew closer. Wearing matching hoodies, going on midnight snack runs, playing in arcades, and stargazing with him up on the rooftop as you contemplate about life and talk about the mysteries of the universe. There were times when you would stay up late doing school works and would accidentally fall asleep on the sofa. Xiao would come out of room because he periodically had cases of insomnia. When he sees you on the sofa, he can’t help but smile at your sleeping figure and admire your beauty. First. he brings all your clutter back to your room then slowly picks you up from the couch, into his arms, and brings you back to your room. He places a blanket on top of you and your stuffed plushies next to you so you can hug them any time.

— On a particular night, you fell asleep on the sofa once again and begun to have recurring nightmares. Xiao was there to witness you whimpering, muttering to yourself, and shivering to a mental image that he could not see. (He wishes he could erase all the pain that these nightmares were giving you) You subconsciously grab onto his hand, murmuring to yourself: “Xiao, please don’t go.” He whispers back, “I won’t.” Your nerves slowly relax when you feel the Yaksha squeezing himself to lie next to you on the couch. Holding onto your arm, he continues to reassure you that it was going to be okay. You grab onto him, hugging him from behind. He feels your heartbeat revert back to it’s normal pace and you return back to your peaceful slumber. “I’ll always be here for you, (Y/N). I’ll be here to protect you. Forever and always.” Turning to you to plant a kiss on your forehead, you nestle your head on Xiao’s chest. He watches as you cling to him for love and warmth until he is slowly whisked away by his weariness, rewarded with a peaceful sleep he hasn’t felt in a while.

“And they were roommates.”

to anyone outside your relationship, it was pretty obvious that you and mashiho had it bad for one another.

but like every cliché young love story, you both were also too dumb to realize.

the same excuses left your lips, mashi's my best friend, or i don't want to ruin our friendship.

you stuck to your word. no matter what you felt, no matter how big your love for him grew, you shoved it down, locking it and throwing away the key.

because there was no way your best friend would ever be in love with you.

so here you are, sat in mashiho's room doing your best to ignore the swarming feeling of butterflies in your stomach as you watch him fiddle with his pc.

you cleared your throat, "what are you playing?" you ask softly. his attention pans back to you, eyes wide before they soften upon seeing you.

"i-i'm playing, uh, genshin" he answers, gaze never leaving you but being the coward you are, you're quick to turn away. choosing to look around the things in his room.

"did you wanna join? i'm playing with doyoung and jeongwoo!" his tone becoming lighter. you shake your head, watching the smile on his face waver before he turns his back to you.

you watch him type and click a few things before the loading screen came up. "okay, let me know if you change your mind." you smile at him which he returns before swiveling his chair and beginning to play along.

a total of four hours have passed and by the time it hit hour 1, you were already bored out of your mind.

sitting up from his bed, you look around the room once more before your gaze lands on mashiho.

his brows are furrowed together, lips in a small pout, eyes skidding across the screen as he ignores whatever doyoung and jeongwoo are arguing about.

for some reason, you can't seem to peel your eyes away from him. he just looks so pretty. you seem to get lost in all the small details of his face that you've grown to remember like it were the back of your hand.

"it's rude to stare, you know." mashiho says, a cocky smirk on his face as he turns to look at you. scoffing, you slap his arm and watch as he mutes his mic and takes off the headset.

he pushes himself away from the table, arms above his head as he stretches. "i'm gonna get water, you want anything?" he asks while getting up from his chair.

"hmm, ramen pretty please?" you ask softly. he nods before looking at you, then his pc, then back to you. "don't mess with my character, okay?" he asks before narrowing his eyes at you.

you roll your eyes at him, shooing him off before looking between the closed door ahead of you and his pc.

mashiho shouldn't have said that cause now he's got me all curious! you think to yourself.

getting up from your spot on the bed, you quickly sit in the spot he was once in, slipping on his headphones before clicking resume.

you unmute yourself, saying a quick hello to the boys before playing along with them.

"oh, hi y/n! where did mashiho go?" you hear doyoung ask you, "he went to go make ramen for us" you respond nonchalantly. doyoung and jeongwoo are quick to stifle a laugh, "that's cute," jeongwoo says.

"did you know that mashiho only makes ramen for you?" he adds on. "yeah, he never makes it for us, even if we ask!" doyoung whines.

you shrug even though they can't see you, "maybe you guys aren't as cool as me, just a thought" you jokingly say, to which they both laugh at. you continue playing with them for awhile before you hear the door creak open.

"hey, y/n i-" you hear mashiho start, whipping your head towards him, you both freeze in your spots. "sorry?" you squeak out.

mashiho's quick to scolding you like a mother would with their kid and all jeongwoo and doyoung hear is rustling, soft yelling and then the mic muting.

"ooh, y/n's in trouble!" you hear jeongwoo taunt you before the headset is ripped off you.

you stand up from the chair, slowly walking backwards to avoid mashiho's grasp. knees getting caught on the edge of the bed, you fall backwards, mashi following you suit.

hands on either side of your head, he looks you in the eyes before flicking them to your lips, back to your eyes. you feel your face get hot as he slowly leans in.

the space between you gets smaller and smaller, your lips meeting in a sweet kiss. a kiss that's full of adoration and love for one another.

you smile in the kiss and feel him do the same. he pulls away for air, not wanting to let him go just yet, you chase and catch his lips into another peck. then another. then three more.

he laughs at your soft kisses and settle on kissing all over his face. finally pulling away, he smiles at you, all teeth in display.

"you don't know how long i've been wanting to kiss you." he states, the atmosphere being sickly sweet as your smile grows wider.

you shake your head in disbelief, "maybe you should kiss me again...?" you ask, tilting your head to the side. he looks at you before leaning in but not before stopping, "i'll kiss you if you promise to not mess with my genshin characters."

“Y/n… calm down.”

Urgent eyes darting over the vicinity of your apartment, you hardly spared the light haired boy a glance. “‘Calm down?’” You asked incredulously, flapping your arms around as if that would solve the issue of smolk. “I’m not sure if you’ve noticed yet, but our house is ‘burning.’” The bits of ash stung your arms, smoke seething against your eyes.

“I’m aware, I’m just asking you to get off the windowsill.”

Looking down at your already prepped foot right on the metal of the only opening the room, you flashed him a glare. “Uhm… no? I’ll have you know I have things to do and places to be, I’m a very important-”

“‘Y/n,’” Albedo interrupted, exasperated. “Please, come here.”

“No!” You shot back, “‘You’ come here, you aren’t going down in flames with your lab experiment. No matter how important it was.”

You could slowly see the patience from Albedo’s face melt away. An incredible feat, it was far too bad you didnt have the time to admire his ticked off face. “And you plan to jump off and break a couple bones?

“Better than death by fire.”

This time, the alchemist simply pointed to the experiment table, unable to form words.

“Yes and? I already know you messed up your experiment.”

“And,” he continued, irritated. “The table is the only ‘damn’ thing on fire. ‘The only thing on fire.’ The entirety of the house is just ‘dandy.’ Now help me put it out.”

You removed your foot of the ledge. “Oh, now that you mention it…”

Albedo put a hand to his head, sigh escaping as he rubbed his temples. “You’re almost worse than Klee… no, scratch that. You’re worse. Klee wouldn't have run away, she has the decency to stick around and out the fire out.”

“I thought it as a life threatening situation!”

“Mhm,” he hummed, displeased. “Whatever you say, get over here.”

Venti

Your drunk figure stumbled across the plain of grass, arms outstretched as you spun around. The wind rushed past your face, cool against the heat that ran through your veins. You felt dizzy, the world spinning in circles around you.

“Hey!” You spun around, foot sliding around the grass as you struggled to keep yourself from falling back. “You- you over there.”

“Yes?” The bard spoke, whisking the alcohol bottle in his hand in circles. He too had chugged a few too many bottles, but nothing to get him as wasted as you were at the moment. “And I do have a name you know- I’m aware you’re drunk, but it still hurts to know you’ve forgotten it~”

Squinting your eyes, you racked your mind for a name. “Oh.. uh…” It took only a moment till the name flashed in your name, and with a giggle, you turned back around. “Venti!”

“Yes?” He responded, this time with a wide grin.

All that stretched in front of the two of you was a wide field of grass, a grand tree, and a hilichurl camp. The two of you were too far away to quickly make it to the tree, and far enough not to arouse any suspicion with the monsters.

Of course your focus was on the hilichurl encampment.

“Look!” You pointed to the wooden pillars perched upright, two or three hilichurls dancing around a fire. “Lets destroy it!”

Venti nearly choked on the beverage in his mouth, swallowing it before he let out a chuckle. “Destroy it?” he repeated bemused, staring at your knocked up state. “I’d be surprised if you managed to make your way there-”

As if to prove him wrong, you started sprinting.

“Uh oh- hey! That wasnt what I meant!!” And he was sent racing after you.

By the time you made it to the camp, the Hilichurls had taken notice of you. All three of them standing up with some kind of weapon in hand. Your joyous laugh sent shivers down their spine, wobbly walk making them back up.

You were ‘scaring’ them.

“C’mere,” you cooed, arms wide. “I don’t bite.”

“Yes you do,” Venti mumbled once catching up to you. Too low for your ears to catch.

When the hilichurls didnt move, you whirled around to grab the vodka from his hand. A high percentage of course, Venti couldnt get drunk on normal wine or too low of a vodka. With a squeak of surprise, he reached for the bottle.

But it was too late.

You’d throw the bottle right at the hilichurls, who dashed away right at that moment. They abandoned camp and sprinted towards the meadow to find some refuge in the trees.

But that wasnt the end of the chaos.

Oh no, the bottle just ‘had’ to spill its contents onto the grass. And well, knock over a torch light stand while it was at it, which meant what? Fire.

“Its burning!”

“Oh dear…”

Venti pulled you away from the camp, sending a gust of wind to pick up the remainder of whatever was burning and put it out. “What am I gonna do with you…” he whispered in a groan. You happily skipped alongside him, giggling at his remark. “My little menace.”

He made a mental note not to bring you to the tavern again.

Side note - No Hilichurls were harmed during the raid-

Ayaka

“‘I’m saving her.”’

Hanging on a tree just beside the Kamisato residency, you and Thoma crouched on a single branch, tipping from side to side to regain balance before falling. That wasn’t the main issue, because just beside you was Ayaka, trapped in a burning building as she frantically tried to put the fire out.

“I’m her bodyguard,” Thoma beside you seethed, pushing you lightly to get you to move. “Therefore its my jobs to protect her, move.”

You shoved back, “And she’s the girl I love, got an issue with that?” You stuck your tongue out, “Or maybe you’re just ‘jealous’, wanna play hero and get her to fall in love? Too bad, you know we’re a thing, get over it.”

“Do you ‘want’ me to hurt you?”

“No thanks, save that for your new girlfriend and your bsdm kinks.”

“HEY- I DONT HAVE-”

But you’d already jumped, grabbing with both hands onto the window ledge and hoisting yourself up. The smoke hit you, burning your eyes and making your nose scrunch up in distaste. If this was your first reaction- how was Ayaka?!

You looked around, spotting the girl trying to put out the fire. It wasnt a big one, in fact it was just the cooking stove and a tinge of the carpet was on actual fire. The rest was just too much smoke, and a coughing Ayaka spilling water over everything.

Racing over, you began stomping on the flames of the carpet. Noticing you, she put her attention on the stove, and the two of you managed to clear away all the fire in no time.

It was when she put her hand over her mouth to cough that you realized you needed to get her out of there. Picking her up with ease, you cradled her in your arms as you dashed to the window. You didnt want to know what the rest of the house, and if there was any more fire, Thoma could put it out right?

Unfortunately for you, that wasnt even your main worry as you made it to the window. Water had somehow made it just below the windowsill, and instead of jumping out with precision, you slipped you with Ayaka in your arms, screaming out in surprise.

So you did all you could do, tuck her in your arms with your back to the ground and hoped you didnt die.

“‘Umph’- holy you’re heavy.”

You weren’t dead but…

‘Being in Thoma’s arms is worse.’

His face said the same, so he dropped you and instead held Ayaka in his arms. You watched as his face morphed into one of worry and compassion, “Princess- are you alright?”

“I was the one who caught her!” You blurted from your position on the ground, stumbling up to stand.

“And I caught both of you,” he corrected, flashing her a grin before giving you a look of distaste. “By accident, it was by pure luck that you happened to be holding onto her.”

You flashed him the middle finger, “Well your jobs done, saved the day, now fuck off.”

“‘You’ fuck off.”

“You have no reason to be here.”

“And leave Ayaka with an incapable fool? How did you slip out of a ‘window?’”

“Water you dumbass, now let go of her before I beat the shit out of you-“

“Ha- I’d like to see you try.”

Meanwhile, Ayaka rest cradled against Thoma’s chest, a look that your bickering was getting to her, and that she was seriously getting ticked off.

“Can you both just ‘shut up?’”

Scaramouche

Everything was ‘burning.’

Scarlet flames licking the wooden planks, crackling as splintered logs came crashing down and silenced by the background screams. Chaos strewn from side to side, a contrast from the normal pace of your footsteps, the calm collected look on your face.

“That was fun,” you simply stated to the boy beside you, squeezing his hand. “We should do it again some other time.”

He squeezed your hand back, a gesture far beyond him. However, he didnt reply, just walking alongside you with your hands interlocked and casually walking away from the crime scene.

Side note - you could really tell I got hit by writers block on the last one ;-;

Streamer!Genshin Reacting to Character!(Y/N) Dying in Game

!Warning!: Major character deaths & angst

Characters: Diluc, Venti, Childe, & Zhongli

Diluc:

It was a race to get inside one of the bases of the Abyss Order to put a stop to whatever plans they were in the process of executing that could potentially put many lives in danger. Diluc was rather calm while playing though it would be a lie to say that it wasn’t a bit annoying that the route to the domain was timed

It was once inside the domain did things pick up fast as it seemed to be a fighting wave system which after beating the first two rooms there was a short scene where in the end Lisa and Amber stayed behind to hold off the incoming enemies so the rest of the group could go further. It seemed like forever doing some of the puzzles to unlock the doors to reach the next fight

In that fourth room after the defeat of hilichurls and abyss mages did suddenly a short cut scene appear to show the appearance of an Abyss Lector. As remembering how much he hated fighting this guy in the spiral abyss he already knew what he was in for; however that was until your character stepped forward with your weapon ready. Diluc was actually sad to have to leave you behind as he was hoping that you’d be one of the characters that went with him to the very end

“I think I’ve watched enough shows and movies to know what this could be leading up to.” He’d comment to his viewers as he finally reached the destination where the Abyss Herald was. Finishing the fight triggered another cutscene as the traveler’s sibling appeared and was making their small speech, asking if the lives of the “friends” the traveler made were worth losing

Diluc is watching with a straight face as he kinda expected this but the who was what he wasn’t sure about and truthfully the only one he’d be truly heartbroken about is your death, but they wouldn’t kill you now of all times right? Wrong; soon the cutscene finally came across where they had left you and you were leaning against the wall extremely injured with your weapon laying beside you. Diluc is frowning cuz he has to watch you die now

Listening to your final words as you spoke to no one Diluc would sulk in his chair a little. In the last moment before your eyes closed, if you mentioned something about not getting to tell his character your true feelings it is visible that Diluc looks like he wants to cry(but he doesn't). Once the screen showed the mission complete he’d grab the plush he had of your character and hold it looking at his camera. “Of all the characters I thought were going to die, I wasn’t ready for it to be (y/n).” At that point he’d probably call it a day from there but he’d still talk to his viewers as he probably would watch the tribute videos that fans had already made

Venti:

Everything was in chaos as it looked like archon war 2 was going to be taking place, but this time it was a war between the Abyss Order and the Archons. He was heading to Mondstadt to help and to check on you. Dvalin was flying around sending attacks at the abyss members. “Ah traveler there you are!” The sound of your voice as you landed before him; as weird as it was to see you in your archon robes was odd but you looked so good! After a short conversation you had gone flying off and it was time to get back to fighting

Things were looking good as it seemed like they were winning against the abyss order though it wasn’t over yet. It was until up in the air did a cutscene starting showing you and the traveler’s sibling fighting going at it. Venti is so captivated by how serious and cool you look fighting, but it all changed when the sibling landed a blow that caused you to fall from the sky ending up falling into the Whispering Woods

Venti couldn’t run fast enough to get to the woods to check up on you but when he did the first thing he saw was the sibling standing before you. He’s already sad and yelling at the sibling for hurting you though it seemed that now he was there the sibling went and disappeared revealing the real condition you were in. “No, no, no! This better not mean (y/n)’s dying.” He’d say in denial as he’s already starting to cry a little

“A-Ah Windblume h-haha… Sorry you have to see me like this.” Even in a moment like this you gave him such a cheesy grin until you seemed to grimace in pain. “Unfortunately it seems like… This is it for me. As long as the winds blow I will always be with you, so please watch over Mondstadt for me.” Your words were making Venti cry as it was like back in your story quest but only ten times worse. And to think it was already painful as it was your next words that did him in. “Maybe in another life we will find each other again and maybe then we can be together.”

Watching you start to glow until you turned into partials of light till nothing of you was left, Venti is devastated. The chat is crying with him as he’s saying how awful it was that his sibling had killed the love of his life! His viewers are going to send him fanart and fics to look at that was an alternative that you lived in the game

Childe:

It was a big fight with the confrontation of the Fatui Harbingers, facing off against one of the other stronger members that blocked the path to proceed to seeing the Tsaritsa. The boss’ first stage was fine; however during the second stage it seemed after losing a certain amount of health the damage that Childe was dealing significantly decreased.

It was when the cutscene started that Childe was already dreading the foul legacy form he’d be facing this time. You suddenly came out of nowhere and already in your foul legacy form yourself Childe is going crazy over how cool you look; he’s also swooning at the fact that you’ve come to his rescue. The fighting progressed until you landed a successful hit that weakened the other harbinger; however, at that same time the other harbinger managed to hit you with a powerful attack

Childe is screaming at the sight of your mask breaking while you fell to the ground. He’s so glad that his character is running over to check on you instead of the fight picking right up, but he’s already feeling the feels hit him hard cuz he hates seeing you hurt. Seeing you back to normal, the damage you sustained was really bad; then the worst thought came to his mind. “This-This better not be what I think it is,” he’s saying not looking away from the screen listening to you weakly talk

“Haha don’t give me that look sweetie, I couldn’t just let this be where your journey ends.” Hearing those words and the nickname you used for his character was sad. “To think we’d be able to travel together more, but hey… Promise you won’t stop fighting and could you look after my siblings for me.” Childe is literally crying now that the reality of the situation is clear. If he gets a choice of dialog to choose from he is going to pick the choice that says that he pinky promises

If your character smiled at the choice he wanted to smile but he’s also just sad, you were dying in his character's arms. If you had given a small love confession in the little bit of life that was in you, he’s going to ugly sob and once the fight was starting again he needs to pause by going into his bag

Immediately he goes getting his big plush of you and coming back to hug it and cleaning his tears with his sleeve before looking at the camera. “I wasn’t ready for this, my baby!” He was not expecting to be losing you; he figured that some characters would possibly die but you were the last character he thought would be killed off in the game. There’s Fs in the chat all around and the crying emote; it’s sad boi hours in this chili’s. He doesn't wanna do the fight but also he gotta avenge you so this last stage fight was for you. Afterwards he’s gonna go look at fanart and video edits

Zhongli:

After helping some of the other nations and their archon’s fend off the abyss order it was time he headed to Liyue to find you. Of course as usual it wasn’t going to be as easy as running around the harbor until he got word from Xiao that you were in Cuijue Slope. So he headed over to help you before anything seriously bad could happen to you

Getting to the open area there you were fighting against the sibling as you were even in your archon robes. Going in and interrupting the fight his sibling clearly looked annoyed and proceeded to try to get him to side with them which of course he didn’t. A Herald appeared to allow the sibling to get away which the fight with the Herald commenced

Just when Zhongli finished up the fight thinking he had won it strangely went to a cutscene as his character and you started to talk; however it was when the fallen Herald came out of nowhere about to attack his character but must to his surprise you shielded him not only taking the hit, but also using your elemental burst to finish off the enemy. Zhongli is frowning at how badly you were hurt as he already has a bad feeling this wasn’t going to end good; the traveler was helping you sit up after having fallen over

“I’m glad to see that you aren’t hurt my friend.” You said as you certainly have seen better days. “Sadly I believe my time has come… Do not be sad dear friend, I have lived many many years… As knowing you has been life changing. Though rocks change from erosion, know that no time will change how I felt about you.” Your words broke his heart as you had such a soft expression on your face as your body began to glow and before he knew it you turned into particles of light and disappeared. He probably wouldn’t cry at most maybe a tear but he is clearly upset about your passing in game and would take a break to talk to his viewers and maybe look at the fanart that surprisingly had been put out already

You were just having tea with Morax when the feeling of falling had suddenly came over you. You try and reach out to the god before he disappears from view.

You land loudly on your feet and curse louder at the brief shooting pain through your leg. You take in the scene around you and you’re confronted by strange technologies that you go to touch the kettle like device before you hear someone trying their best to keep quiet. You take a step back from the kettle and summon your polearm.

“I can hear you, come out no” you order tapping the claymore on the floor in anticipation

“[name]?” the man questions revealing himself from the shadows of the room

“Not many know me by name mortal. So, pray do tell, how do you?” you ask staring the man down readying your polearm.

Xiao, a university student and a dance major. He’s been playing Genshin Impact casually for about two months now usually in the evenings when he’s not running through dance routines on campus. Xiao is a secluded an so his father, Zhongli, wanted to set Xiao up as comfortable as possible, if an apartment by himself was what he needed that’s surely what Xiao would get.

“I think you’re actually [name], from Liyue” he states bluntly. You nod

“Get to the point” you order pushing your claymore closer to Xiao’s face

“You’re from a game I play” he states bluntly

“Sorry, what”

It’s been a few days since you had fallen into this reality and you’ve settled in nicely into Xiao’s schedule. You had been lucky that you landed right at the start of Xiao’s holiday. He has tried to tell you about the things of this world, you haven’t understood much and the thought of so much population kind of scares you.

You feel like if Liyue was to look like this in a thousand or so years would you really feel at home there as you do now? Would a Liyue like this city need a yaksha like you? Would they need someone to protect them? You have to wonder if this was the reason why Morax gave up his mortality and godhood, perhaps he already saw a future like this...

You look to Xiao who had decided to go to the studio today as he twists into the music he’s dancing to and smile a little. Maybe being cast out from Teyvat isn’t all bad, you haven’t taken and enjoyed the company of mortals since you felt similar confines of mortality thousands of years ago.

At the other side of the studio there’s a clanging of a door being kicked open

“And who was going to tell me that my bestie has had a girl over all week?” the short man asks interrupting Xiao’s dance sequence

“It’s not like that Venti, and you know it” Xiao sighs putting his hands on his hips and staring down the friend

“Another mortal?” you ask standing up and leaning into the newcomers space

“Shit Xiao you never told me they look like [name]” he looks to the other with a laugh. You blink a few times

“I am the [name] you speak of, under normal circumstances humans don’t see me” you tell the man your brows tightly knitted together

“They’re not joking” Xiao tells the shorter man “It’s a long story that I won’t be telling you” he adds turning away from the two of you and puts the song back at the beginning

“So you’re really the yaksha [name]?” the man asks, you raise a brow at him and channel the power of anemo to shove a burst of wind in the mans face

“You think I need to prove it to you?” you ask with a chuckle “What’s your name human?” you ask looking down at the shorter man

“I’m Venti” he grins shoving a hand for you to shake, you don’t “I do music but if it’s artistic I do it” he adds. You nod.

“You know I was saved by a guy kind of like you millennia ago” you confess with a smile at the memory

“When you were overcome with nightmares right? By Barbatos?” Venti asks and you frown

“It unnerves me how much you know, and how much you freely speak about it” you confess looking to Xiao who’s restarted his dance routine. Venti giggles your words before watching Xiao again

“What’s it like there? In Liyue?” Venti asks, you chuckle at him and raise your brow

“Don’t you play the game?” you ask, Venti nods

“It’s not the same though” he argues and you sigh

You tell Venti about all your favourite places, you talk about what the Harbour is like during the lantern festival and what it’s like sitting with Morax to drink tea and your meetups with Ganyu to drag her out of burying herself in work

“Do you miss it?” Venti asks, and you laugh again and pat his shoulder

“I’m not sure your mortal brain can comprehend what I miss” you respond and walk outside.

Venti’s question weighs on your brain. Did you truly miss it? Sure you miss Morax and Ganyu, but really? The adepti are a dying breed, being here is probably better than being forgotten by Liyue, this world will never ask of you.

“Doing alright?” you hear Xiao ask from behind you, you hum in response “If Venti said something I can always beat him into shape” he adds with a chuckle at his humour. You shake your head and smile to Xiao

“Do you wanna see something cool?” you ask stepping closer to Xiao who takes a moment and then nods approving of your request. You stand behind Xiao, take his hands and with the power of anemo you start flying in the air

“This is how I get around Liyue” you tell Xiao in a hushed tone, he feels your breath brush against his ear

“Wow” he breaths, Xiao’s cheeks heat up a little as you float over the university campus. You close your eyes and continue to feel the pressure of Xiao’s body and the lightness of the anemo beneath your feet

“How do you feel?” you ask Xiao with a grin

“Is it odd to say I feel at home in the air?” he asks breathing in the air around him. He feels you shake your head behind him

“Visions are a complicated thing, I wouldn’t be surprised if people of other realities could resonate” you answer, you hold Xiao in the air for a little longer holding his presence. You notice Xiao taking in the scenery almost breathless.

“Xiao! [name]! We going for dinner or not?” Venti yells up to the both of you. Xiao jumps a little since he was so zoned out just floating in the air

“Dinner?” you ask as you descend

“Mm, Venti breaks into my apartment if I don’t eat dinner with him at least once a week” Xiao grumbles as you lower him onto the ground. You nod

“Goldet, the boss of the Inn I used to stay at would come up with almond tofu” you reply with a smile “I never liked it much but a close friend said it reminded him of eating dreams, it was my way of keeping close to him” you confess with a soft smile

“Almond Tofu is my favourite” Xiao informs you walking over to Venti

“He never shuts up about the Almond Tofu” Venti jokes patting Xiao on his shoulder, Xiao glares at the former. You smile at them and their friendship.

Dinner was nice, Venti recommended something for you to eat and you more than liked it. After dinner Venti parts ways with you and Xiao takes the both of you back to the apartment.

The two of you lounge on the couch, the telly plays some ridiculous late night tv show as the both of you sit. You find yourself leaning your head on Xiao’s shoulder a yawn escaping you. You don’t notice Xiao smile at you and close his eyes to relax with you. You close your eyes another yawn escaping you.

It isn’t often you have to sleep considering your immortal adepti status but sometimes, especially when extremely comfortable and relaxed, you find yourself dozing off.

Your dreams, when not getting infected with darkness, are filled with hopes of this new world you’ve found yourself and the new mortal companion beside you.

My honest, but with no big spoilers plot-wise, review about Tears of Themis.

If you wanna get a general idea about how this game works, I think it’s fair to point out that one reminds me of very loosly of My Candy Love given the screentime we get with each character, it also reminds me of Ikemen for the tight plot and engaging story with a complex but still pretty straightfoward and it reminds me Queen's Choice in the composition of the app and with certain mechanics, as well, the possible only platonic type of relationship that you can get with the four male leads.

However and even so, Tears ot Themis is still pretty much it’s own thing with the Sherlock Holmes-like approach to the cases, it’s own world building with it’s own rules and pretty advanced technological set up and hits of retro/vintage elements here and there, with a very much anime styled storywise and artwise scenarios but a really tight and engaging plot.

So I don’t think it’s fair to draw any further comphrasions and instead let’s talk about my game experience with this one so far:

The game give us multiple ways of engaging with story/plot.

You have the main episodes to play, with criminal or civil cases to solve and win over.

Then in a different section, each male character has it’s own lockable side route, where you can know them better and get the spend some time with them after raising some affinity AND each card from the Gacha that you evolve and level up can have it's own little story that costs nothing and most of them feels like a date. I have played some of it and it's really really cute.

Now I think this game will approach romance in a more platonic way. The romance in the first four episodes and for what I saw so far, is very light, platonic and soft. I’m not sure if we will ever evolve to a full-relationship type of dynamic with the male leads.

However, I wouldn’t rule it out for the future just yet, since it feels like an otome.

We get some truly cute moments with MC that clearly has a lot of chemistry with all four of the male leads. They all have their own dynamic with her, different kind of relationships and levels of intimacy. Every moment we get to share with them feels different and they all are interesting, mysterious and charming around her.

They’re also all very linked to the plot in different ways, like Artem is also an attorney, meanwhile, Luke is a detective, and so go on and on - they all have their own weight to the plot, but it doesn’t feel unbalanced at all. I had a very pleasant surprise dealing with them in those different scenarios, because I never felt bored or annoyed by any of them in any shape or form.

The art of the game is gorgeous.

The backgrounds, the side characters, the main characters, the cgs!! Everything is so beautiful all the time that it can catch your attention really easily. The animation is also really well done, it doesn’t look weird even tho, looks very cartoony sometimes.

Some cgs don't have animations, most of the special ones do and when they do, they're pretty and cool. It’s totally something that you can stare and simp for hours kkkkkk I didn't dislike any of the ones I got, not even with the characters that I feel less connected with.

As a beta tester I can't really talk much about the cap in the points we get to play the game - because they gave us so much energy to test the most we could.

However, I can see how the energy points system will put certain cap on us, because you will need energy points for EVERYTHING - aside from somethings that you won’t, like the card’s stories. I pushed my limits somedays and I can see how this can push someone to actually spend money on the game to get through the story.

But I can’t point out if it’s gonna be super unfair or not yet, because, like I said, they almost give us infinity supply for the energy points, so I went through everything I had without thinking too much and I did almost run out of spare things to use, indeed, but I was commiting some mistakes and I just being full-on about it.

As a Gacha Game it’s what it is. I also can’t speak much about my experience with it, because they give a lot of things to us and I did spend everything I would got in game to get cards. I wasn’t really trying to get any that I really wanted, so I can’t speak about the frustration of not getting them - I got a lot of cool ones, but they did supply us with a lot of points to exchange for cards, so.

The system to level up the CG is the complex part. You can upgrate a card in way too many ways. However, I have played through the fourth episode and I didn’t find any block with the ones I had leveled up (I had 3/4 RS leveled up on their main level and I played without any worry at all).

I'm not going in dept about what each episode is about here, however, I need to point out that each case is pretty straightforward but really fun with a twist to play.

MC is an attorney, but she also acts like an investigator in a very Sherlock Holmes way, picking apart small things and piece together, with us the players, what happened. And to make it even funnier, we get to play a little bit of Ace Attorney in this game kkkkkkkk it has a really obvious inspo on that one and it's a really cool addition. Any one that at least are familiar with the memes can pick apart which parts have a nod to Ace Attorney.

That being said, every case doesn't really feel like a challenge per say. You won't fail the whole episode if you commit mistakes on the trials. The game is more about the journey than really create a challenge for us and I can see it as something good. Maybe some of you will hate it, but I was fine with how it was.

I wanna see which direction Mihoyo will take it story-wise (I’m actually really curious) since they're doing a such good job with Genshin's and Hokai's story. They both have really well tied up stories, with a dark twist and full of symbologies that gives clues to a bigger picture.

It feels like the cases of every episode for the main story are key for the major plot BUT not quite what the major plot is going to be, there’s for sure something bigger going on and I’m very interested to know what exactly it is.

Overall my experience with this game was really good.

I loved Artem and Marius, I’m totally taken by their personalities and by how handsome they are kkkkkk Luke is also super cute and handsome, he was a very pleasant surprise. Vyn is an interesting character, very morally grey and kinda shady but really trustworthy too kkkkkk which was a fun mix - but I would say he’s my less favorite.

I wasn’t expecting enjoy the story so much, but I did. I wasn’t expecting just how cute and charming the male leads are, Marius and Luke in special really surprised me and hooked me in. I was pretty sold on Artem alone, but now I’m there for them all. I wanna learn more about them and play more with their stories in the future.

Hinata

As an ESFP he would probably choose his main based on who feels good to use

Quick movements, lots of jumping, strong = XIAO MAIN (probably finds the flashiness and edginess cool and enjoys the button mashing too)

would aggressively compete with kageyama on who can beat spiral abyss the fastest and with the shortest time

unfortunately they’re both not very good (initially because kenma helps him out after)

Would try to follows the plot but dialogue goes over his head

Does not understand stats other than attack at first

Wish impulse is real and never has any primos

would attempt to talk to every npc

Kageyama

META SLAVE

Has no idea what wishing/gacha is at first and builds his starters really well

Then he found out and currently mains Ganyu, Zhongli, Hutao for the big numbers

gloats about his first 5 star to hinata

Does not talk to NPCs at all and barely digs into the story

only there for spiral abyss and to make his characters stronger

Tsukishima

Didn’t wanna play until yamaguchi dragged him in to have someone to co op with

Appreciates the story and lore more than the gameplay aspect

Eula, razor (cv uchiyama kouki) main—easy to build, easy to use

Doesn’t care about wishing either

Got Eula by accident and now holds it over kageyama’s head

Has really good artifact RNG that it infuriates kagehina (gloats about it to fan the flame 😚)

Yamaguchi

he’s infp he chooses based on characters he likes 🥺

Diluc, albedo, ayaka main

(i can’t explain why I think he’d like those three, it just Makes Sense)

Co ops with tsukki and yachi, plays both dps and support

Spiral abyss makes him anxious but he pushes through anyway!!

Starter team king 😩

Feels bad about switching his regular team out FJDFJDJJDDJ DAICHI

Probably a casual player though

Plays to coop with suga and tanaka but they carry him through domains

he’s trying his best

Mains based on whoever’s fun to play too!!
