It was an arranged marriage between you and you father's friends eldest son; Sukuna. You were having dinner one day with your parents and your dad had asked you if you'd be interested in an marriage with a nice man. You blinked at that question and shrugged, "I mean as long as you know he's a nice man I guess it's not bad in meeting him," you replied with a small smile.

After a week both your families decided to go out for dinner at a fancy restaurant and you saw him for the first time; he was not a talkative type, he was a gentleman and very well-known for his devotion to his work and family. You both talked then and there; he was charming not once he said something to make you mad or upset. He was very soft spoken to you. Your father had informed you after that dinner that Sukuna agreed to the wedding and he also said that if you reject him he'll understand and it's not pressure on your side to agree but you already decided that wanted to marry him; he was nice, gentleman and respectful and every other person that knew him said kind things about him.

Once you both agreed to get married Sukuna had texted you asking about what are your requirements for the wedding venue, cake, dress and everything else to which he also added that you shouldn't look at the price of anything; whatever your heart desires he'll agree to it. He wanted you to be happy, as of that didn’t already captured your heart, you both picked everything for the wedding together; nothing extravagant but very classy wedding with few of your friends and families.

Sukuna had bought you a home and it was not less than a castle; after the wedding he still spoiled you with gifts, and handed you all his credit cards to buy whatever you need. However you'd refuse to use his money on random things even though he said his money is your money from now on. He's been nothing but kind to you but also a bit shy some might say cold hearted; but he just didn't want you to fell uncomfortable around him. He'd often walk past a room and see you praying and would just stand at the doorframe to watch you and leaving before you see him.

One of the days he had a rough day, nothing seems to be in his favour that day, his meeting ended badly, the clients were complaining about some services and few stakeholders were arguing about something in the company. He got home with a heavy headache and saw the hot dinner you prepared for him, you entered the room and saw him, with a smile you took his bag and coat greeting him, "how was your day?" You asked and he just smiled not trying to bother you with his bad day, "it was good, I'm hungry." You nodded "come, let's eat, I made your favorite today." He was very grateful to have you at this moment, he ate his dinner and showered before going to sleep with a headache. Unfortunately the headache caught up to his sleep and he woke up in the middle of the night to find you not in bed, rubbing his temple he got up knowing where you are; in the prayer room.

Unlike everyday he didn't just stand by the doorframe to watch you pray. You werr done praying when you started to say the dua, "Dear God, thank you for all the blessings you gave me, thank you for the health and thank you the most for sending me such an amazing husband. He's very kind to me and caring towards me, I pray you bless him with health and well-being and a long life where we can be together always and honour each other, I really appreciate and," you paused with a smile, "I love him so much, I just wish he'd be less shy," you chuckled before continuing, "please God , keep him happy and safe, Ameen." Sukuna felt his heart melt at your words, he waited few minutes before knocking and walking in the room, you turned to smile at him as he took the seat beside you on your prayer mat. "Did I wake you up? I apo-" He cut your sentence short by placing his head on your shoulder as he sat beside you, "I've been feeling down all day, I had a very bad day-" he couldn't speak further without tearing down and you immediately wrapped your arms around him protectively so did he, holding you for dear life as he spoke and cried while you rubbed his back, "I don't know what to do, I want to just hide away and do n-nothing I'm just so so tired from today, I- I promise I'm not l-like this always b-but-"

"You have been working so hard lately, you need to rest, Husband," you softly spoke gently caressing his pink hair with your soft hands, "please, can you take few days off of work? You need to rest, it's not good to work and feel such pressure. Can you?" He nodded in you embrace, "y-yes I can take few days off." He slowly removed himself from your embrace chuckling as he whipped his nose and you whipped his tears with the end of your hijab before he placed his head on your lap and taking your hand and placing it on his forehead, "Sweetheart, would you please pray for me everyday?" He asked and you smiled down at him as you gently massaged his head, "with my whole heart, Husband." He blushed.

"Call me by my name," he chuckled, Now it was your turn to blush, "No!" You replied, and he chuckled, taking your other hand and placing his on his chest, "come on, just once, say my name." You rolled your eyes and spoke, "Sukuna." He blinked at you, "Again? Please?" He asked this time softly, and you tried hard to hide your smirk as you called his name, still massaging his head, "are you feeling better now? Sukuna?" He smiled and nodded eagerly, then closing his eyes, letting you massage his head some more.

Hello friends! Everyone planning to participate in the sale today, please read. This is how everything will work. For tonight's sale, I've curated a collection of crystals with a high fantasy theme!

I will start posting items for sale directly here on Tumblr. To claim an item and place your order, do the following:

Reply to the post (those who are unable to reply for whatever reason can reblog) saying “sold” or “mine" with the quantity you’d like to claim. It’s important you do this so we can see who claimed something first in case something sells out.

Keep a list of everything you claim (with the item number for each item). Once you’re done claiming, please message me over the instant messenger.

Include the following information in your message:

Your email address for the invoice, the country you live in (for shipping purposes - we are shipping from Austria), and the list of what you claimed (with the item numbers). Also please let me know if you want your order to be *open box* or *ready to ship*. “Open box” simply means you want us to hang onto your items after you pay so that you can continue to add things from future sales so everything can be shipped together for convenience 😊

Shipping to Europe is $12 Shipping elsewhere is $15 For extra-large packages, shipping is $20

Be sure to send your info at the end of the sale or whenever you’re sure you’re done claiming.

War of the Roses (JJ Maybank x Reader)

“Welcome to our War of the Roses segment of the show, Y/N. So you’ve been noticing some issues with your boyfriend?” Alec, the main host of the radio show, kicked off the segment.

I cleared my throat, “Uh, yes.”

“Alright, why don’t you tell us what’s going on?”

I held the phone to my ear, feeling nervous as I got up from my seat to pace the living room. “So, my boyfriend, JJ, has been working later, taking more odd jobs than what’s usual, and his phone never leaves his side. He’s been blowing off hanging out with me to quote unquote work, yet he still has time for his friends.”

Suzi, a co-host, piped up, “That does actually seem sus.”

“Right? Thank you!” I felt a jolt of relief my feelings were validated.

“Oh yeah, totally. Especially blowing you off, but still going out with friends,” she said.

“Well, wait a sec,” Joey chimed in, the third host of the show. “Is your birthday around the corner? Or a special anniversary?”

I sat on the couch, my fingers tapping against my knee as I thought about it. “No, not that I can think of. Our third year anniversary was like six months ago, and birthdays are in the next few months, but not significant ones?”

“Hmm, well there goes my ideas,” Joey sighed. I could almost hear him shrug.

I sighed, slumping in the cushion as I felt defeated. “So then he’s definitely cheating.”

Alec jumped in, “No, no, it could be something else, but this is why you’ve come to the show, right? To find out?”

I nodded before realising they couldn’t see me. “Yeah.”

“Alright, well we’ll be right back with War of the Roses after a song,” Alec stated, the beginning sounds of some Justin Bieber song beginning to play.

“We’re in the middle of War of the Roses with Y/N who thinks her boyfriend, JJ is cheating on her. She is sus since he isn’t really around much, works all day and night, takes odd jobs, but yet still makes time to hang out with his friends.” Alec stated.

“And hides his phone,” Suzi added quickly.

“Oh yes, and hides his phone. So what we’re going to do is call up JJ pretending to be a floral shop and offer to send him a dozen roses, absolutely free, with a card that he can send to anyone he wants.” Alec continued. “Okay, Y/N?”

“Sounds good,” I breathed, getting up from the couch. I pulled the phone away from my ear, putting it on speaker while muting myself too.

The line didn’t even ring before I heard my boyfriends voice, which was odd since he was supposed to be working. “Hello?”

“Hi is this JJ?” Suzi began, putting on a sweeter voice.

“Uh, yeah, who’s this?”

“Oh I’m sorry, this is Jackie from Kildare Flowers, we’re a new business on the island and we’re doing a promotion right now of delivering a dozen red roses to someone you wish, absolutely free. I won’t even ask for a credit card.”

I began pacing again, nervous this whole thing could go wrong and he doesn’t take the bait.

“Oh yeah? Sounds legit.” I knew she had him hooked at this point.

“Very legit! Do you have anyone you want to send these flowers to?”

“Yeah, uh, her name is Y/N L/N.”

“Okay,” I heard some keys tapping as if she were really taking down the information, making the ruse seem even more real. “And we offer a card that you can personalise. Is there anything you want me to put on the card?”

JJ was silent for a minute, thinking about whatever he wanted to say. “Can you put, ‘I’m ready to take the next step with you, hopefully you are too. Will you marry me?’”

What?

I quickly unmuted myself, “What was that?”

“Y/N?” JJ asked, seeming surprised to hear my voice over the phone.

“Oh damn! Well JJ, this is actually the Kildare Radio Show, I’m Alec and I’m in the studio with Suzi and Joey, and your girlfriend, Y/N, is actually on the phone, right now.”

“I thought you were cheating on me,” I paced, wringing out my free hand as I gripped the phone a little tighter in my other. “You want to marry me?”

He was silent for a moment. “Why don’t you come outside real quick.”

Outside? I looked toward the front door, quickly making my way over and throwing it open.

“Wait, what’s happening?” Suzi asked, losing the sweet tone in her voice.

Outside was JJ, dressed up all nice yet still wearing his red hat backwards on his blonde head, our friends behind him holding up a large poster board that read ‘Will You Marry Me?’. As soon as I stepped outside, JJ bent down on one knee and smiling at me.

“Sounds like he’s proposing right now,” Alec spoke from my phone, still trying to keep the show going.

I was feeling all sorts of emotions at the moment. I felt stupid for calling the show, I felt excited that he wasn’t cheating, and I was thrilled that he wanted to marry me. “Are you serious right now?” I jogged over to him, wanting to hug him to death at this point.

“I mean, this wasn’t exactly how I wanted to propose, but it doesn’t matter since everyone is here anyway,” JJ told me. He rose quickly, engulfing me in a loving embrace as I felt tears trickling down my cheeks. He makes me so happy, how could I ever think he would cheat on me? “Y/N, will you marry me?”

“Yes, yes, absolutely yes!” I let him slip a cute gold band on my finger. “Is this why you’ve been working so much lately?”

He nodded as our friends cheered behind us, “I had to work some extra jobs to afford the gold band. I wanted to get you something you could be proud to wear but I can’t afford a diamond yet.”

I shook my head, smiling up at him, “I don’t need a diamond, J. This is perfect.” I pulled him toward me, giving him a kiss with all the love I could muster. He was the best boyfriend I could have ever hoped for, now fiancee.

“Yay!” a collective cheer rang out from my phone, alerting me to the show I had been apart of not five minutes before.

“Oh, sorry! He proposed and I said yes!” I explained, pulling away from JJ’s lips. “Thanks for helping me, but he’s clearly not cheating.”

“Well congratulations! Too bad more of these couples don’t end up like this,” Suzi sighed. I agreed with her, but not all guys were like mine; loyal.

I ended the phone call before kissing my man again quickly. He smiled into the kiss and broke away to pull us closer to our group of friends who were super excited for us. Sarah and Kiara were gushing about the cute gold band while JJ was being clapped on the back by John B and Pope.

Oikawa sits on Iwaizumi's bed, watching his phone buzz and light up with the hundreds of messages Suga and Akaashi were sending him even though it was 5AM in Japan (meaning the pair woke up early or never went to bed – Oikawa suspected the latter).

Suga: B*tch, if you don't confess to Iwaizumi in the next day, we are telling him ourselves

Akaashi: You better f*cking confess or I'm throwing out your f*ck sh*t hair products

Suga: We spent a lot of money getting you to California, we expect for it to be worth it.

Oikawa rolls his eyes. He debates replying, re-informing them that it had actually been Akaashi's parents who had bought the ticket since they had used Akaashi's emergency credit card. But, that would only fuel the pair into harassing him even more, so he tucks his in his bag.

Iwaizumi returns to the room, carrying various snacks and a couple bottles of water in his arms. After dumping everything onto the opposite end of the bed from where Oikawa was sitting, Iwaizumi quickly glances at his own phone before placing it on the dresser behind him.

"Your friends are a little annoying."

"They are your friends too, Iwa-chan~"

"They are only my friends because they are your friends. An unfortunate circumstance of the transitive property."

Iwaizumi plops down onto his bed and opens a bag of chips. In the silence, they hear the faint buzz of both their phones going off. Oikawa attempts to shake off the curiosity of what his friends might be texting Iwaizumi by scolding him.

"What a terrible host you are, Iwa-chan~. Not even offering me some chips when you opened the bag."

"Okay, but you don't even like these chips."

"It's a matter of principle," Oikawa teases, turning his body to face his friend.

Iwaizumi rolls his eyes and holds out the bag of chips. "Would you like some chips?"

"No thank you, I don't like them, but I will take that cookie."

Oikawa points to a wrapped chocolate chip cookie in the pile of junk food on Iwaizumi's bed.

"You're an adult, grab it yourself."

Oikawa pouts, crossing him arms and staring at Iwaizumi, who still refuses to budge. Faint buzzing fills the silence once more.

"Iwa-chan?"

Iwaizumi hums, signaling Oikawa to continue. "Do you remember last year when you visited Tokyo?"

Iwaizumi doesn't say anything, but Oikawa can tell he remembers and knows exactly what he is talking about – the kiss they had shared in the kitchen in the middle of the night.

"How would you feel about doing that more often?" Oikawa asks, staring at the pattern in Iwaizumi's comforter.

He hears the rustle of the chip bag and feels Iwaizumi's weight shift on the bed. Before Oikawa can recognize what is happening, Iwaizumi's hand gently grips his chin.

He tugs Oikawa's head up, pulling him in so their lips meet. The kiss is soft, chaste. It reminds Oikawa of finally releasing a long held breath. When they pull apart, they stay close – foreheads touching.

"Just to be clear, I like you and that is why I want to kiss more."

Iwaizumi chuckles, "Yeah, I understood that dumbass." A pause, Oikawa waiting for a returned confession, a pout slowly forming on his lips. "I like you too, Shittykawa."

Oikawa leans forward, kissing Iwaizumi fervently. They continue exchanging kisses for the next hour until they tire and Oikawa settles his head onto Iwaizumi's chest as they cuddle – Iwaizumi's fingers absently playing his with hair. The calm is broken once again by Iwaizumi's phone buzzing on the dresser.

"Do you think you can tell your friends now so they can stop harassing me?"

"Absolutely not," Oikawa says. "They will not be informed until at least a month from now. I need to make them suffer for meddling... Plus, I can't allow them to know they were right – at least not right away."

Iwaizumi sighs. He knows there is no logic when it comes to the trio.

Thanks very much for the ask @starknstarwars!

Amélie raises an unimpressed eyebrow. "Is the SIS so desperate for advice that they just send their informants to directly ask Intelligence for tips?"

She chuckles to herself before shaking her head. “Well I suppose they do need all the help they can get. Imperial Intelligence does have several centuries of successful experience that they lack, after all.

First of all, you don’t act out a cover story. You are your cover. Whoever you might have been before no longer exists. You do not think about them or consider what they might do or feel guilty about because you are not them.”

Humming contemplatively, she absentmindedly pulls out a knife and begins casually spinning it between her fingers.

“Of course, to truly become someone else, you have to understand who they are. What do they value? What would cause them to break ranks and disobey orders while still being who they are? What principles are they unwilling to bend? This means research, extensive amounts of research until you know how you will take your caf in the morning or how you would respond to finding a credit chit on the ground as this person.”

She pauses her knife spinning and lets out a bark of laughter. “Honestly, you would think that an agency called the Strategic Information Service would understand the need to have as much information and knowledge as possible before conducting undercover operations. Information is right in their name though the Republic does seem to be full of more contradictions than I could count.”

Shrugging, she continues on.

“You of course always want an exit strategy if things go wrong but you don’t set those up as yourself. You set them up as your cover. It offers greater credibility that you are who you say you are even if you end up running and offers the possibility of maintaining the deception and even being invited back into the fold if you play your cards right.

And of course, perhaps the most important thing is to know when you’re in over your head.”

Without warning she throws the knife, embedding it into the wall next to your head.

Leveling a previously unseen blaster at you, she gives you a cold smile.

“So, do you want to try to executing your own exit strategy or will you make things easier on yourself and tell me who sent you?”

Keiwa: Kekera, Beroba, if you want to make yourself useful, why don’t you turn away the people that are about to jump at me from above!

Jelavic: Abort the mission boys, it seems Ritsu’’s information is accurate.

*A lot of men jumped down from the second floor and went behind Jelavic.*

???: Well take those.

Multiple shadowed people stole Beroba’s and Kekera’s cards.

Beroba: Wha-

Kekera: How-

Jelavic: Good work girls.

???: It was our pleasure Bitch-sensei.

----fastforward: basically, Ritsu fires BBs at everyone and releases smoke at the same time, courtesy of Itona’s invention, while Nagisa stuns Keiwa before Isogai and Maehara grabbed Keiwa’s hands and ran somewhere where Beroba and Kekera aren’t around.----

Keiwa: *detransforms out of Bujin Sword*

Keiwa: You got me out of the hideout, what now?

Keiwa: if you really are sent to kill me, you would have already done so earlier.

Jelavic: Like I said smarter than given credit.

Nagisa: Can’t you be persuaded Sakurai-kun?

Keiwa: If I don’t do this, I lose my only chance at reviving my family

Isogai: Even at the cost of everyone else’s family?

Keiwa: I TRIED DOING THE RIGHT THING?! WHAT DID THAT GET ME?! IT KILLED MY SISTER!

Keiwa: I’m not going to be a door mat any longer.

Keiwa: They wanted me to fight for my desires so I’m doing it.

Maehara: But the sacrifices.

Keiwa: As long as my family gets to live, I don’t care what happens after.

Karasuma: What now?

Ace: Give me one last shot.

Ace: I do hope that you won’t resort to killing him.

Ace: The punishment doesn’t fit the supposed crime that you’re pinning on him.

Karasuma: We’ll see.

Geats cast react. The cast are when after they yanked Keiwa’s out of Kekera’s hold, so yes Keiwa is among the reactors XD

I'm just smiling at the thought of this being the live action versions because Karma was played by Masaki Suda (aka our resident human search engine Philip)

Anyway, I kinda think everyone will be a bit speechless at the government going that far to pull Keiwa out... and definitely a little suspicious, because in canon the government was well aware of the DGP shenanigans and were actually in on the conspiracy in a similar fashion to Kurama Kousei- keeping their existence a secret from the public in return for wish(es). While getting Keiwa away from the influence of Kekera and co is a good thing, the government involvement stinks of a coverup from above. They're probably doing it only for their own benefit, i.e. to erase their own involvement in this sick game.

On the other hand, Keiwa being supposedly perceptive enough to read through the deception and knowing they were there to "rescue" him rather than eliminate him may surprise them. Though they'd be disappointed with his stubbornness.

Living in a Digital World

Is Anything Hands-On Anymore?

After seeing one of my old colleagues, this weekend, she told me she is retiring after a long and successful career. Congratulations that a great milestone, but she says it's time. Things are done differently these days and it's not the same. Everything is done online now, I stated. Nothing is hands-on anymore.

Where is the time where you sent in a resume, got a phone call to come in and sit down with the person? Most of the time, you got a phone call whether you got the position or not--- NOT today, send online and they could give a hoot whether they get back to you or not. To me, that is rude and very unprofessional. Yeah, one can say they have too many responses online, but in my opinion, if you put it online that gives way for someone, anyone to wade through and respond. It's just a kind gesture for those waiting.

Going to the doctor now is online, you have to sit while they, nurses or doctors, peck on the keyboard to enter your information. Where is the write it down and pay attention to who is in front of you? I mean, come on! I know that times have evolved and are ever-changing, but when the heck does it say, leave the personal touch behind?

I miss those times when one could sit down, look the other person or persons in the eye and have a conversation and have them listen to you and write down what needs to be and then put it digitally. I am NOT Digital, hear my heartbeat, watch my mouth, she blinks, winks and speaks, listen to me. Those that use the pecking, which we all do these days, can put the wrong information down which can cause not to get a loan, or have the wrong diagnosis, the wrong medication, even if they pull up the wrong date of birth or name, can cause a murid of problems.

The ones coming up in this day and time, have no idea what it's like to just sit and keep off the pecking and talk and learn and help someone other than themselves. They are growing up in a world where it is all digitally in front of us, work, play, home. It's great to be out there working and being able to be in front of someone, not in front of a screen.

At one point, this all may end and where are these growing up going to land? They will not know how to hands-on anything. Will, they even know how to turn on a tv without a remote or turn on the lights without a voice-activated instrument? Just things, I think about from time to time when I hear yet another industry going digitally rather than person-to-person.

I know it's only going to progress but something to think about when a computer breaks down or a copier breaks down- would you know how to type of a typewriter? If the whole system went down in a store would you know how to use the old slide for credit cards? If the graphics went out would you know how to draw it freehand? Many things to think about in this ever-progressing digital world.

When the Clue-by-Four Won’t Work, Try the Five-by-Five

Fate here, this time to celebrate my 25th response by getting to the roots of five frequently-complained…I mean, asked questions from you squares.

Because five is the square root of twenty-five, not because I actually think all of you are that desperately uncool, so don’t sue me any further.

On with the numerical (s–t)show:

Why would you send me a sequence of numbers in my dreams that are exactly the right amount to put on a lottery ticket, have me buy said lottery ticket, and then not have those be the winning numbers?

What made you think those were lottery numbers and not, say, a code I concocted in order to lead you to the love of your life?

Why would you send me a sequence of numbers in my dreams that could be plugged into a GPS and/or used to indicate a specific date and time, make it so that nothing stands between me and arriving at that place at that time, and then not arrange for the love of my life to meet me there and then?

What made you think those were GPS coordinates/set date and time information and not, say, a code I concocted to lead you to some winning lottery numbers?

Every time I’m ready to check out at the grocery store, there’s always some hold-up no matter which cashier’s lane I choose. If I choose the lane where there’s only one person in front of me, they’re always two items into a cart jam-packed full of teeny-tiny items that each need to be scanned individually, one or usually more are missing a barcode so another employee needs to go track down the damn thing(s) to find the item number + it’s always at the very bottom of the cart so it’s not like the cashier can scan other items while they’re waiting.

If I choose one of the lanes that has multiple people but they’re all carrying baskets that aren’t full, then when it comes time to pay, one will want to write a check, the other will slam down a stack of coupons (mostly expired), another will want to divide the payment between cash, a gift card, and two credit cards that they want cashback points on…

If I try to go thru the self-scanners, they’ll all be shut down except for the one that’s cash-only (I don’t carry cash) and the other one where some asshole didn’t scan something properly and now has to wait for an employee to clear it but the employee’s all the way across the store flirting with a barista. So just, why???

Someone has to remind all those once-a-month shoppers, customers on budgets, and hapless victims of technological glitches how much worse they could have it.

Every time I’m on the highway, there’s a traffic jam. And everytime I switch lanes to the one that appears to be moving faster, it slows or, more typically, outright stops the second I’m in it.

The other drivers in the lane you changed out of appreciate your sacrifice.

Every time I’m driving on surface streets, I manage to hit every single red light…until I need to do something complicated like start a new audiobook or find the snack/drink I tossed out of reach in the backseat, then the lights are all green all the way through.

The other drivers who preloaded their audiobooks and put their snacks and drinks in the passenger seat appreciate your sacrifice.

Really, I do thank all of you for your sacrifices of airing grievances and gushes alike. It is nice to be reminded of one’s guiding influence on an entire species, even when said species would clearly rather flail around alone in the dark.
