Hiii! I think we all can agree that these two would adore a kind s/o, in fact, your kindness will accelerate their yandere tendencies. Xiao and Scaramouche are similar yet vastly different in their approach and intentions to such a situation.

Scaramouche would 100% hoard your kindness, monopolizing it thereafter. His methodology merely varies depending on the most prominent periods of his existence.

Kabukimono, who's an infant to every little wonder of this world, takes just a little while to grasp the warmth of your glow. When he does, he understands its necessity to him by comparing it to the air that humans so desperately need to survive. Kabukimono tries to give you the benefit of the doubt for a while, too, but much like a child, he'll quickly become pouty when he sees you showering others in the same kindness. What, was it wrong for him to think himself a little special? He'll probably just follow you around like a duckling (not that he already doesn't everyday) and stare blankly at the person til they get uncomfortable and leave. Should you raise a brow at him—ah no, you can't. After all, he's just an innocent puppet who can barely comb his own hair, he's still new to all this. So, you have no other choice but to take the liberty of teaching him, digging your own grave.

Kunikuzushi is far more expressive and desperate, this is where his protective nature starts to dominate. The world is cruel and ugly, the humans you're so carelessly allowing to take advantage of you? They'll all crush you, extinguish your light. He cannot allow those vermins to greedily take all your attention. Kunikuzushi is also reckless, you try to understand him even when its apparent something is terribly wrong with him but does it affect anything? Yes, it merely strengthens his belief that you should be protected from the filth of the world.

The Balladeer, oh, is he smitten (all his incarnations are but that's besides the point). But unlike his younger selves he has all the means and an equally uncaring mindset for others necessary to actually take action. When he's certain that your kindness isn't just a fad, he's not allowing anyone else to bask in its glow. He's the most unhesitant to do so and you have no choice but to follow along his whims, burdened by your own kindness that deters you from even blaming him.

For Wanderer, it'd take more time than Kabukimono to develop that sort of jealously. Having just recovered his past memories, he's a little overwhelmed, if not confused with his next course of action. At the same time, he's trying to be better. So, letting another person have that kind of grasp on him again will result in prolonged inner debates. He appreciates your kindness albeit, he can't help but wonder if you would still smile at him the same had you known of his past crimes. The anemo vision might've become Wanderer's heart but he still lacks a will to live and if you were to become that will? It's not a stretch to say he wouldn't try to keep all your attention on him and boy does he succeed. All those centuries of trial and error has taught him much and it's finally time to put that experience to good use.

Xiao on the other hand takes much, much more time, not.. necessarily or soley to develop that envy but the awareness of what on Teyvat he's actually doing. The intricacies of human emotions fly over Xiao's head, the only thing he cares to understand is that he likes it when you go out of your way to nurse his wounds despite his protests and pushes, when you greet him and ask how his day went (to which he always answers the same) or as you routinely bring him almond tofu despite his insistence that you needn't do so every single day. He isn't exactly surprised when he sees you treating others similarly, he might even consider himself the lucky one for having the blessing of your warmth. The only instance I see him, technically, hoarding your benevolence is if the people around you meant you harm. Xiao would then simply dispose of them but when that doesn't work anymore? Although it might take immense amount of contemplation and an equally strong push, until Xiao has no choice but to arrange his Adepti realm for a proper stay.

the wanderer had many names: kabukimono, kunikuzushi, scaramouche, the balladeer.

after he lost a battle with the well-known traveler, he became the wanderer, a puppet with no strings. a puppet with a different style and his very own anemo vision.

he changed for the better and it was all thanks to nahida, the traveler, and you.

you helped him retrieve his memories along with nahida and the traveler.

you helped out only a bit, but still, he was grateful.

he would feel indescribable emotions whenever you were around. at first, he thought there was something wrong with him, but discovered what he was feeling was in fact love.

“love” was a foreign word to him. ever since his birth, he never once experienced love. his creator, the almighty shogun or the god of eternity, saw no worth in him and discarded him like trash.

sure, he had met a few friends, but neither of them filled the void of loneliness in his heart because they either died or abandoned him.

he wanted to forget his past and focus on the present, so he tried his best not to act in a way he would back when he was a harbinger.

he wanted to shower you in gifts as thanks, but that would be a problem since he wasn’t acquainted with the fatui anymore, meaning he had no mora and would have to make mora independently somewhere.

“sc– i mean, wanderer, what are you doing?” you asked, furrowing your brows, as you saw the ex-harbinger behind a fruit stand.

“oh… i’m just trying out a new job... figured i’d have to do something to make a living since i’m not in the fatui anymore.” he felt his face heat up at the sight of you. just one look at you was enough to make him flustered. “so, this is what sumerians do to make mora? sell pieces of fruit?”

”yeah, i guess. you can try selling jewelry too or make mora off of dancing.” you imagined him, an ex-harbinger, dancing for mora. the thought made you chuckle.

“dancing? for mora? how would that benefit anyone?”

“benefit? people just like that sorta stuff. it’s entertaining for them.”

“i see. do you like that sort of stuff?”

the way he asked that question was adorable.

oh no, did you just find him adorable? he literally tried to kill you, nahida and the traveler not too long ago. how could you find him adorable?

“i– i do like watching dances. nilou’s my favorite dancer. i make sure not to miss out on any sabzeruz festivals or just any sumerian festivals.” you rubbed the back of your neck.

“hm.” he looked like he was actually considering it.

“hey, wanderer, (y/n).” nahida greeted, approaching the both of you.

“oh, nahida! it’s nice to see you again.”

“it’s nice to see you too, (y/n). i’d like to thank you once more for your help back then. traveler and i really appreciated the gesture.” nahida smiled at you then turned to wanderer. “how have you been faring, wanderer?”

“tch, it’s you again–“ he stopped, remembering he wasn’t supposed to act like his arrogant, aggressive self before (at least in front of you). “i mean i’m fine. selling fruit isn’t too hard.” it wasn’t as hard as shedding blood every single day.

“i’m glad you’re doing well.” nahida put a hand on her chest.

“well, i got to go now. you guys continue talking. goodluck with your new job, wanderer. see you around, nahida.” you said, giving them a wave, and left before wanderer could say anything else.

“you have feelings for her, don’t you?” nahida noticed his expression turn from soft to irritated. “i can see the longing look in your eyes.”

“shut up. you ruined everything with your presence.” he grumbled.

he watched as you were getting further and further away from him.

you would be his someday. he’d make sure of that. and once you were his, he wouldn’t ever spend a day apart from you. he would treat you so well. he would shower you in gifts (using his self-earned mora), take you out on “dates” (a human activity where you bring your partner to eat somewhere beautiful, he learned) and eventually confess his feelings to you.

if you return his feelings, oh that would make him the happiest puppet alive. he would happily sweep you off your feet and start a brand new life together with you.

You joined the chess club as a newcomer to the game, where Ayato introduces himself as a fellow beginner. You think he's just terrible at chess - after all, how could he lose to you so often? However, as time goes on, you begin to question if you're the one who's been playing into his hands all this time...

a/n - was just rereading ayato lore and remembered he plays chess, so i wanted to write about him doing it in a modern chess setting where he's absolutely whipped for the reader 😭 i cant stop writing about desperate genshin men im so sorry

chess captain!ayato, who’s been harbouring a small crush on you ever since you stepped foot in campus. despite taking different classes, you’d always be the centre of his attention, even if you rarely interacted with him.

chess captain!ayato, who’s elated to see you join the club. the moment you confess to being a beginner, he flashed you a smile before asserting that he, too, was new to the game.

chess captain!ayato, who revelled in the gleeful look on your face whenever you won a game against him. he’d take care to fumble right into your victory each time, just to feel his heart flutter when you smiled.

chess captain!ayato, who’d play exactly as you wanted when you tried book moves for the first time. oh, you were attempting a scholar’s mate? he’d ‘accidentally’ fall right into the trap, feigning shock as you smugly pushed your queen to F7.

chess captain!ayato, who ignored the incredulous looks everyone else shot him when he blundered his way through every game with you. as a highly accomplished player - winning all the tournaments he competed in - it certainly was a sight to see the kamisato ayato open with pawn to H4.

chess captain!ayato, who would only play at his true level when you weren’t looking. his favourite hobby was to push the worst move possible and watch your thinly veiled happiness as you won yet again, pretending to be annoyed when you teased him for his ‘stupidity’.

chess captain!ayato, who would leave ayaka to run the club as his vice captain whenever he was busy in a game with you. he enjoyed the expression on your face as you thought, the light twitching of your lips to murmur ghostly syllables to yourself. he liked to imagine how those lips would feel on his.

chess captain!ayato, who would desperately try to prevent you from realising he wasn’t exactly as bad as you thought he was. when you were talking to your friends about how absolutely hopeless he was at chess, he’d shoot them a silencing look to staunch their shocked expressions. if you tried to look up previous records from tournaments, you’d somehow find yourself in conversation with him and forget about what you were doing entirely.

chess captain!ayato, who’d nod eagerly and let you ‘coach’ him in chess. he’d smile so delicately as you bid him good luck before a tournament, whilst everyone else idly wondered why on earth the feared ayato would need help to be reminded of piece value.

chess captain!ayato, who’d be too immersed to notice you if you walked in on him playing a proper game. you’d be stunned at the way his fingers gracefully snapped the pieces into position without hesitation, the subtle clink of lacquered wood against the board reasonating through the room as he claimed piece after piece. he was nothing like the foolish, impulsive player you’d versed countless other times.

chess captain!ayato, who’d study his opponents with an almost terrifying look of sheer calculation. his eyes would skim emotionlessly over the board, lithe hands almost flying between the pieces and the timer. occasionally, a cold smirk or two would escape - indicative of his incoming victory.

chess captain!ayato, who’d look so wounded when you found out - acting like you’d caught him cheating on your non-existent relationship. you’d only feel embarrassed at having thought you were better than this absolute menace of a player, whilst he apologised time and time again before (timidly) asking you to play one more round.

chess captain!ayato, who’d then offer to properly teach you outside of school hours. of course, he didn’t view them as tutoring sessions - he saw them as dates. or, perhaps, just opportunities for him to admire your face until he reached the stage of his plan where he could ask you out, and you’d be too equally infatuated to refuse.

in the beginning of your relationship with kazuha, everything seemed perfect. he treated you like royalty, showering you with love and affection. his sweet words and affectionate gestures made you feel wanted and special, like you had finally found someone who truly cherished you. but as time went on, you started to notice subtle hints of possessiveness and obsession in his behavior.

it started with “innocent” requests, like asking you to delete the contact of a male friend. kazuha's tone was always soft, masking his true intentions. "darling, can you delete his contact?" he would say, with a fake concern in his eyes. confused, you questioned his reasoning. "hm? why?” you asked innocently. his response was laced with insecurity and jealousy, "you’re talking to another boy, love. what if you fall for him?"

his possessiveness became more apparent, as he struggled to accept that you have other connections outside of your relationship with him. you tried to calm his fears, assuring him that your friend was just that - a friend. but kazuha wasn't convinced. in an attempt to control your interactions with others, he guilt-tripped you. "you only need me and should depend on me. why were you talking to him anyway?" his voice became tinged with anger. this possessive streak continued to escalate, leaving you feeling suffocated.

kazuha’s obsession with you grew stronger by the day. he despised the thought of you having any connection to the outside world that didn't involve him. to assert his dominance, he would cling onto you during social gatherings, kissing and hugging you from behind to make it clear to others that you belonged to him. your friends would feel a chill run down their spines as they witnessed the power play between you and kazuha.

classes became a source of unrest as well. he bombarded you with countless messages, demanding your attention and guilting you if you didn't respond within minutes. when your phone went unanswered or on "Do Not Disturb," his frustration grew, resulting in an onslaught of texts expressing his discontent. the constant need for validation and presence wore you down both mentally and emotionally.

even in the safety of your dorm room, his possessiveness knew no bounds. he clung to you, seeking constant physical contact and affection. while you reciprocated his gestures, it became overwhelming, as he kissed and touched you incessantly. the line between love and control blurred as you found yourself pleading for space and relaxation.

"ah, kazu, you’re doing too much... relax, i’m not going anywhere, okay?" you would whisper, hoping to calm his insecurities. however, his eyes filled with doubt, and he immediately resorted to manipulating your emotions. "oh, so you're annoyed with me now? i’m sorry for being annoying... i bet you don't love me anymore," he murmured, pained by the possibility of losing you.

these guilt trips became a cruel tactic, leaving you questioning your own feelings and loyalty. as you continue to navigate this toxic relationship, you begin to recognize the red flags that you had previously dismissed. the possessiveness, manipulation, and control from kazuha became impossible to ignore. blinded by his initial affection, you had failed to see the true darkness lurking beneath the surface.

sometimes kazuha is...a little weird. while you weren't in sight and if he were missing your presence, he would go to your laundry basket to find your used panties just to whiff at it. he always got off to the smell of your undies, the smell of your sweat mixed in with your heat always had him in heaven. it always made him have heart in his eyes.

"are you okay? did you get hurt?" the friend scoffs and slaps your hand away that was reaching out for him. "i almost got hurt. now you and your freaky boyfriend can leave me the fuck alone. i don't want to deal with you or him anymore." and there you watch him exit the lecture hall, the only sound being heard were his echoed footsteps.

"l-love, see..? i was just trying to help you...i didn't want you to face thru hardships like this..! that's why i was trying to get rid of him! fools like him dont deserve to be friends with you. in fact, you dont need friends, only me...okay...?"

you stare at the door, then slowly turning your body to face kazu. "kazu...i think its time to let go of this relationship. i know we have been dating for almost two years now, but this is too much for me to handle, i think im just going to focus on myself right now." there, you said it all to him. everything that you had been wanting to say.

"l-love please stop joking, i know how much you love to joke haha...please cmon, lets just go back to the dorms and cuddle." you can see the panic in his eyes. you can see the way hes shaking. and the way hes trying to convince himself that everything happening wasn't real.

he steps closer to you to grab your hand, and caressed it, but you retract and pull back. "kazu, Im sorry but its over." and there kazu was left speechless. the love of his life..? leaving him? no no no he can't have that now.

"please, love stay with me..you love me too right? you dont have anyone else but me! your friends wouldnt care for you the way i do! I'll do anything, please dont leave me, you said we would be together till our final days!"

kazu pleaded, tears threatening to spill from his eyes now. he grabbed your shoulders, and tried to kiss you, but that immediately made you react to push him, which made him trip and fall on his bottom.

"its over! ill be living with another friend in the dorms, so don't worry." your last words before you walked away from the man. until you were stopped in your tracks again, by kazu on his knees as his arms hugged your legs, looking up at you with tears in his eyes.

"please! anything! ill do anything! what do you want...? money? jewelry? new clothes? ill do anything for you dear, so please don't do this to me! im nothing without you! i need you!" he screams as his tears spilled onto the floor, creating a wet mess.

"i said its over kazu, what part do you not understand?! now let go!" you nudged your legs left and right to get out of his grasps, that led to you wobbling your way out, but he tried his best to pull you back.

which resulted in you tripping, hitting your head on the floor as you fell down the stairs, creating a loud echo thru out the lecture hall. "y/n!" kazu exclaimed before running down to your unconscious body. blood running down your head as he picked you up and with no time to waste he runs to the infirmary.

and there you wake up, and a bright light shines above you. the smell of antiseptics filling your senses, as you sat up, placing a hand on your head to soothe your migraine. god, everything hurts, but the silence was soon interrupted. "y/n! y/n! oh god! youre finally awake! i was so worried you wouldnt wake up at all!" a boy with platinum blonde hair with a orange-red streak on the right was spotted next to your bed.

it took you a while to comprehend the person in front of you, but then finally recognize the boy. "ah...kazu..?" you respond back quietly, still feeling a bit groggy. "yes, yes, yes! its me, your boyfriend." he grabbed your hand to hold it, giving little kisses on the back.

"ah..what happened..? i remember walking thru the halls...then..." he placed a finger on your lips, signaling you to shush. "its-its alright, you just fell down on the stairs and i immediately brought you here after seeing you unconscious." you look at him in confusion, why did he stop you? sure you trusted what your boyfriend had said, but you feel like another part was missing.

"are you sure..? i feel like something else happened...argh...my head hurts." you massaged your head again. "here drink this. itll help subside the pain." he grabbed some pills from the table next to the hospital bed and some water. you took the pills from his hands to your mouth and swallowed it down with the water.

"we will stay together right...?" kazu mutters out, and that made you turn your head, what was he talking about? of course you would. "of course kazu, why the sudden question?" he doesnt respond as he just smiles with a huge blush.

"thank you...well stay together forever till our time is up...i love you so much dear.." he says before giving you a kiss on the lips while holding your hands, and you return the kiss.

"youre mine, and only mines."

You know who would be a great yandere? Ningguang. She is powerful and rich. She is always gets what she wants. She would shower you in all the finest things just to show you that no one else can take care of you like her.

She may be a busy women but this mountain of paper work doesn't look so bad when you are sitting on her lap.

Escape from her would pretty much be impossible. Not only are you suck in the Jade Palace, but just think of all those who are loyal to her. Maybe they are yanderes for you too(because I just can't help but make everything into a harem).

Ningguang may act like your opinion matters to her, but in reality she tosses any complaint out the window. She doesn't like it when you cry, but she understands that it can't be helped (it can very much be helped if she just let you go but that is out of the question to her). Your tears will be dried with silk, and sweet nothings will be said as she runs her fingers through your hair.

• For starters, Venti would be so beyond happy, I really can't describe to what extent

• He now has something in common with you that none of the other Archons have

• Would definitely emphasize this by either incorporating his wings into his everyday outfit (assuming he's not trying to hide his status), or simply choosing to be in his Archon outfit more often

• Now you match, and, in his own mind, that emphasizes that you're inherently closer with him

• He really can't help how proud of himself he is for that spur of the moment design choice all those years ago

• The people of Mondstadt now believe that their Archon was 'made' in your image, the sense of superiority is going through the roof—

• It only makes sense that you would bless your favorite nation/element/Archon/etc. to resemble yourself in some way

Y'know. I've been awful at keeping to my schedule, haven't I? Well, for right now, I can't really guarantee anything time wise! Could post late at night, early morning, evening... Or not at all! It'll depend. But I'm just going to write some Columbina hcs for gender neutral significant others!! I want everyone to be included somehow in this post, so that's a good way I decided.

Columbina is quite mysterious right now, so we don't know much about her, and I honestly assume that's the same way with her significant other. If not even the other fatui know her personality that well..

It'll be a loooooong while until her romantic partner sees more than what she's willing to show.
