YOUR GOD IS DEAD, and you’re the unlucky soul tasked with figuring out who killed em. As sheriff, you are working to uncover the truth behind this tragedy before your parish’s rage boils over and makes the situation even worse. There’s someone or something on the loose that can kill a god, and it’s hard to know who to trust nowadays. You know you can rely on your horse, your gun, your faith, and your lawman’s intuition. Ride carefully, partner. There’s trouble afoot.
I’m super excited to announce that my new solo journaling game is now published - you can find it here! This game was made for the Hints & Hijinx Jam hosted by @pandiongames. If you’re interested, I encourage you to check out other entries - this system is super fun to play (and to write!).  WHO KILLED GOD? is a solo mystery game of divine catastrophe and small-town suspicion in a Weird West setting. This book has prompts and mechanics to help guide you, but it is up to you to follow the clues to wherever they lead, whether that's to redemption or ruin. You play as your town's sheriff, trying to find the party or parties responsible for the death of your god. You will explore various locations around town, meet with townsfolk, and attempt to gather evidence while getting yourself out of tricky predicaments and tight spots. At the end of the game, you'll find out whether or not you were right.

WIP Intro | Robbery on the Hell Express
Tumblr media
Genre: weird western
Vibes: partners or enemies, who can tell, there's no good guys here, weird stuff just exists and everyone accepts it as normal, ghosts and wraiths and demonic guns and such
Tumblr media
Harlan Nye and John Callahan aren't friends by any stretch of the imagination. One a hard-hearted gunslinger and the other a silver-tongued con man, they're just as likely to shoot each other in the back as they are to enjoy drinks together at the local saloon. But Nye's got a proposition that'll require both their skills to pull off. It's almost the time of the new moon and that's when the ghost train, more commonly called the Hell Express, cuts through Boot Hill to take the newly dead to wherever they go next. Guarding the train are the Wraiths, who will tear apart anyone who dares to interfere with the train. Nye and Callahan's prize is a pair of Wraith eyes, said to be able to show the wielder when Death is near. The aforementioned "tearing apart" should make this a suicide mission but with Callahan's wit and Nye's talent for murder--not to mention the cursed gun he wields--they might just have a chance. That is, if they can avoid betraying each other long enough to get the job done and get off the train by sunrise--or become trapped to see the ride through to the end of the line.
I've always wanted to write a weird western. This one's just for funsies XD
It also comes with a song:

Back At It Again
Hello Everyone!! I am here to politely show the void this other book a friend wrote. They are being very generous and currently it is free as an ebook.
Just click one of these links below; Even just clicking helps!! Their book is Blazing Ambition and here's a quick summary of it;
"The Great Yonder is a lawless land where money talks and the almighty guilder reigns supreme. While corporations and city-states vie for control, outlaws with strange electromagnetic weapons known as chaos casters fight over the scraps. But chaos casters are treacherous, with a talent for firing themselves and explosive nuclear potential.
A group of outlaws called the Infestation pulls a score on the Winsome Company magnirail, inviting the ire of Madam Gladwin "Winnie" Sherwood, an inventor-magnate, and the most powerful woman in the world. She tasks her beau and head of her private law enforcement, Kaffrey Mild, with bringing the Infestation to justice. But things stall when three of the Infestation go underground in a town outside Sherwood's influence.
The robbery's fallout threatens Winsome Company's standing and Winnie's ambitions for the Yonder. Kaffrey and Winnie disagree about how to proceed, jeopardizing their relationship. All the while, an international banking conglomerate known as the Guild goes head to head with Winsome, and a member of the Infestation targets Madam Sherwood personally, testing her morality and commitment to a brighter future. "
If that's not enough to interest you, this book also has:
-Majority of the main characters are POC, including the main female lead and her partner
-A great deal of the supporting and tertiary cast are also more diverse as well
-Several characters who are part of the LGBTQIA+ Umbrella including two of the main cast
-AN AROMANTIC CHARACTER WHO IS NOT ASEXUAL
There are other books in here as well, and you can even read an excerpt to see if you would like it, but if you don't have the means to download, please just click the links
This is their website; https://ebhauk.com/ where you can view their other novel and this is their Amazon Page if you want to more directly purchase a novel.
If nothing else, please just click the links to help support my friend and other independent authors c:

Vishan.
I have no idea how i never posted him here before? Unless i did and tumblr’s search is just being dumb, in which case, forgive the duplicate.
Anyway.
Meet Vishan.
A devout demonhunter possessed of a magic silvered rifle which is also incidentally fond of killing demonkin of all kinds.
He had another name once, but he won’t admit to it in company or out. We know he left a heavy history behind when he chose his new name, that he lost his parents young, and was separated from his only living bloodkin - a sister, whose name he never shares - when he was still a small boy.
He’s now 25 and has supported himself variously as a simple laborer, a trapper, a horse trainer, a cowhand, and a lawman. He’s short and wiry of build, athletic and flexible. He is illiterate and uneducated, and rather coarse in manners, but he is clever and a quick study.

Minor spoilers for La Mala Suerte under the cut
He is technically married… to Ana Sophia Seshet Riga. The scheme was her idea, ostensibly to persuade her father to change his opinion of Arelis - a semi-nomadic people found throughout the marginal forests of the known word - and folks of mixed heritage.
John Riga remained fixed in his prejudice, and shortly thereafter Ana Sophia picked up everything and everyone in her household - including Vishan - and went west.
The marriage is a cold and distant one, though not even Vishan is certain of Ana Sophia’s opinions about this. No one speaks of it - except Teca, who spends many long weeks trying (unsuccessfully) to persuade Vishan to return to his wife and make a good life in the village.
Vishan has evidenced a strange affliction connected to his compulsion to hunt, which seems to cycle with the moon. He has been both friend and enemy to Tecbalor, a circumstance neither of them particularly understand… and it gets worse as they travel together and physical attraction enters the equation.
He can communicate with - and sometimes compel - animals of all kinds, though he prefers the company of horses above others. He seems to hear the earth herself, and also the rifle that called him to his vocation many years ago.
He’s also very, very bi, and traveling beside Teca gets under his skin in every possible way - despite, or maybe because of, his demonblood.

Night Feeders is Now Available as an AI Audiobook
For years I’ve struggled to produce audiobooks for many of my stories due to the high price point. Especially for my shorter works. This has been frustrating since I know I have readers who prefer some form of audiobook over ebooks. It’s always been an accessibility issue that’s bothered me. It can exclude readers with eyesight issues or those who are uncomfortable with ebooks. I’m happy to…

I did a few regular enough prompts; only I used a lot of B-Movie Western slang with a lot of
owlhoots, galoots, hombraes, rootin tootin, and other wild west frontier gibberish.
The AI made a game try of it, but to say the least, happy trails it was not.
Call it not the real west, but the surreal West.
