Not gonna bother asking for you to crop me out unlike last time, but heyo its me, former Mod Masky of the blog that was ran by you-know-who. Saw this place was active again and wanted to give a quick wave! I'm glad to see you've been doing good, Erin! I've missed the good times we had as fellow mods and friends, especially on the old Discord server. But, just like you, I think about her quite a bit, especially because I was developing a crush on her, er, who I thought she was, at the time... I even saw she still had some of my old work on the blog she ran, and it's impressive how much I've both improved but also regressed when it came to my skills. (I've not written in a long time due to life, and have only recently gotten back into it. Yes, it was SMUT writing btw. That still hasn't changed.) I too can only hope she learned her lesson and finally took some steps to improve herself, both mentally and as a person. I don't think I'll ever forgive her for what she did... I'll end off by saying somethings to address and update people who may happen to remember me. I left that blog because of what you-know-who did, but she deleted my departure note, as it also called her out. I was considering joining this blog, but declined due to the slight trauma I gained from you-know-who, and to also put my full focus into college. Also, I'm really not active here anymore, but still like to view and browse. You can find me primarily on Twitter/X now. Lastly, I'm married now to a wonderful man! ;D Have a wonderful day/night! Actually forgot to respond to this but everyone say congratulations!!! Life seems to be good to you according to instagram lol and I’m so happy for you!! Honestly it kind of went downhill after that whole incident and I think after a while I didn’t care so much for the series!!! Don’t get me wrong I’m still a big fan but I’ve moved onto other things as people do!!!! Like my second playthrough of Baldur’s Gate 3 I don’t have much time for writing cause working saps all of my energy away and I’m planning on going back to school so who knows!!! me and my boyfriend matt have been dating for a year and 5 months. on our one year anniversary we decided to hard launch our relationship. the fans were a little rocky at first but after seeing our relationship over the last 5 months, they’ve grown to really love us together.

one day when nick was live, the fans could see me and matt screaming and dancing the lyrics of ‘everybody talks’ by neon trees. that was when we told them that was our favorite song to listen to when we’re together.

me and matt hadn’t seen each other in 2 weeks due to the fact him and his 2 brothers had gotten covid. he texted me everyday, telling me how much he misses me. i obviously missed him too. going from seeing him everyday to not seeing him for 2 weeks was definitely weird.

when the friday video came out i watched it, laughing as nick turned his ipad screen around to show my boyfriend. nick and chris had both tested negative, but matt was still testing positive so he was stuck in his room for a while longer. since matt was the only one who could drive, they filmed this video in the car.

15 minutes into watching the video, matt decides to burst out into song.

“and that is when i kissed herrrr.” he sings, bopping his head. i laugh, going to look at the comments.

i smile as i scroll through the comments. suddenly a wave of sadness washes over me and i miss my boyfriend more than ever. 2 weeks has been long enough. i shrug, grabbing my keys and slipping on my uggs. rushing to my car, i immediately back out of my apartment building parking lot.

10 minutes later i pull into his driveway. slamming my car door shut, i walk up the front door and knock. chris opens the door.

“hey y/n?” he says, a questioning tone in his voice. “matt’s still sick.” he tells me.

“i know. i just didn’t wanna wait any longer to see him.” i explain, waiting for him to let me in. he moves to the side and opens the door wider.

“he’s streaming right now. just so you know.” i thank chris and walk past him.

i walk right up to matt’s room, knocking on his door.

“go away.” he yells and i laugh slightly. he must’ve changed his mind because he yells a, “come in.”

i walk into his room and he’s sitting at his gaming desk, his eyes towards the door.

“hi baby.” i softly say, walking over to matt and straddling his lap. i put my legs through the holes of the chair, making it more comfortable for us. my arms go around his neck, pulling him closer to me.

“what are you doing here sweetheart, i don’t wanna get you sick.” matt tells me, hesitantly wrapping an arm around me.

“i don’t care, i just wanted to see you.” i put my head in his neck. he wraps his other arm around me, holding me tightly.

“alright guys, i got my girl with me so i’m gonna head off. thank you all for tuning in.” he tells the stream, ending it and turning off his pc.

“how are you feeling baby?” i ask him, getting off his lap and standing up.

“a little better. i probably look like shit.” he laughs slightly. i shake my head, walking closer to him so i can wrap my arms around his neck.

“that’s impossible. you always look handsome. my handsome boyfriend.” i beam and his face goes red. i slowly move my face closer to his. just as my lips were about to touch his, he pulls away.

“i don’t wanna get you sick beautiful.” he whispers, his face so close to mine i can feel his breath.

“i don’t care.” i tell him. he quickly presses my lips to his, his hands planting themselves on my hips.

“i’m glad you’re here, i missed you so much.” he smiles, pressing a kiss to my forehead.

“i missed you more.” i laugh.

“you know, people are gonna be talking about the fact that i called you sweetheart on the stream.” he points out, and i can’t help but laugh more.

When a case unlocked memories in Spencer’s gifted brain, he expected everything to go as he suspected: so wrong.

It didn't quite go wrong. He got the answers he needed, but not the ones he truly wanted. He was wrong about everything, something he wasn’t used to.

The good thing was that his father wasn’t a murderer after all, and at least it was over.

Or almost over.

Thirteen minutes until midnight and the only reason Derek and Rossi agreed to drive Spencer to the darkest alley in Las Vegas was Garcia’s fault.

"Are you sure about this, Reid?” Morgan asked, turning on the SUV blinkers and glancing at Spencer through the rearview mirror.

“I really wish you’d stop asking me that.” Spencer unbuckled his seatbelt, ready to step out of the car.

Derek sounded like a broken record by now.

“Look, kid, we’re just trynna’ help.” He softened his voice. “Case is over. You can let it go now.”

The Riley Jenkins case was, in fact, over. Although letting it go was the last thing Spencer could do when last-minute Garcia filled him in about a person that wasn’t really involved in the case, but was connected to it to some extent: you.

“We don’t even know if she’s gonna be here,” Morgan continued. “She could be dead by now.”

“Yeah, and being here is the only way I could find out.”

Rossi had never seen Spencer like this, so he had to ask, “What’s with the sudden interest?"

"I don't know." Spencer lowered his tone.

All he knew was that there were more memories he needed to unlock, even if they led to something he would’ve been better off without knowing.

“Alright.” Derek raised his perfect brows in defeat. “We'll stay here. Call us if you need anything."

“And make it quick,” Rossi added. “Or else we’ll miss our flight.

"I will.” Spencer stepped out of the car, looked both ways, and jogged his way to the other side of the street—determined to find you.

According to Penelope’s recent discovery, you were related to the molester—Gary Michaels—and that fact was enough reason for Spencer to extend his stay for a few more hours. He just needed to know if you were okay. Alive.

“Look at that, neighbor,” Garcia had teased him during the phone call that morning. “She used to live five houses away from you.”

Images of a girl came to him as soon as Penelope said your name. You used to wear red shoes to school and… that’s all he knew. All he remembered.

He tried to dig up some more memories while his long steps took him to the street where he somehow knew he’d find you.

And he was right.

There you were, standing alone in a corner, pulling your jacket and purse close to your body. It was chilly, and your clothes barely covered any skin. You looked exactly how he thought you'd look after all these years—17 to be exact.

Same features, just… more grown.

Every word he knew flew away with the soft breeze of the night. You were alive, and he smiled to himself at the thought of you being more than a forgotten memory now.

He brushed his hair out of his forehead and hesitated whether to walk up to you and ask you how you’ve been or if he simply should be satisfied with knowing you were still skin and bones and let it all go.

He paced back and forth for a whole minute, thinking about the pros and cons of a still hypothetical conversation with you.

"It's $300 an hour, pretty boy." Your sweet voice blared around the empty street. “Only handjobs.”

Spencer looked around to see who you were talking to. There was no one else.

It was so foreign to hear someone other than Morgan calling him a pretty boy. More so when you didn’t even turn around to actually think he was a pretty boy or not.

He slowly made it closer to you with both hands inside his pockets. "Uh, I don't—” Spencer cleared his voice once he was a few steps away. “I'm not looking for—"

"Then leave me alone.” You were quick to cut him off. “I'm working."

Oh.

He reached for his badge and flipped it open even when you hadn’t bothered to turn around. “I’m with the FBI, is it okay if I ask you a few questions?”

Your body froze for a moment but didn’t turn to give him a single glance.

“Look, I already talked to the cops. If this is about Trent and his stupid–”

“It’s about your uncle. Gary Michaels.” Spencer cut you off with the softest voice.

Your body stiffened, and after a moment, you finally turned to him, giving him your full attention. "What about him?"

Spencer gulped at the way you reacted—at the clearer sight of your face, too. Furrowed brows, clenched jaw, incredibly pretty, and the most beautiful eyes he’d ever seen—he was sure his heart skipped a beat.

He swallowed thickly again before asking while wringing his hands. “How close were you two?”

“We weren’t. Why?”

“They found the remains of his body.”

Your only response was an audible breath that slipped through the twitch of a smile.

It was relief.

“Thanks for letting me know.” You nodded politely.

That smile seemed to be the end of the conversation but he didn’t want it to be over yet. “I heard about your brother, too,” he then blurted out.

You scoffed as if he’d told you the funniest joke. “Is that what you’re bringing up to keep the conversation going? My dead brother?”

Another brave step brought him face-to-face with you. “I heard that they found some letters from him.”

“Sorry?” You raised your brows as your eyes widened.

“Letters. Handwritten letters. They’re sti–”

“I don’t wanna know, alright?” You cut him off, lifting your palm and signaling him to stop talking. “I don’t need that. He made his decision years ago and I… I don’t need that.”

He said your name to get your attention once more, but every time he opened his mouth, he got closer and closer to setting off a grenade.

“What is this? Some interrogation?” You raised your tone. “Who even are you?”

"I'm Spencer Reid.”

Your face softened as soon as he said his name—like he’d pinned back in the grenade—enough reason for him just to keep talking.

“I’m pretty sure we were neighbors when we were kids,” he added.

You arranged your features to your already usual frown and stared as you said, “I remember you.”

You did?

“What do you want from me, Spencer?" You then added.

What did Spencer want? There wasn’t anything else to solve.

"How have you been?" He merely asked.

You forced a smile and looked away for a second. “Better now that I know Gary’s dead.” Then you turned to him again and stared again, this time with curious eyes. “How did he die? Exactly?” You tilted your head.

“He was beaten to death.” He raised his brows.

“Was that… recent?”

“No, it happened years ago.” He gulped for the eighth time before adding, “Let me ask you this, did he ever do anything to you? Or your brother?”

“I don’t see how that matters now.” You looked down.

“He’s dead, but he’s still under investigation. So we’re still gathering information about him.”

You hummed, shaking your head. “He barely even talked to me, thank god. He only liked boys. He really, really liked my brother.”

“I see.” Spencer narrowed his eyes.

Silence filled the space between you and him. It seemed as if memories were flashing right before your eyes.

“We lived with our grandma,” you began. “And when she heard about how his son was a child molester, she, uh, she killed herself. She couldn’t bear being responsible for such things,” You said, looking into the void.

And then you lost your brother in the same way.

Spencer’s chest tightened.

"What happened after?” He asked.

“No one wanted to look after us. We were troubled kids, so we ended up in an orphanage. Curtis was two years younger than me. He hung himself before turning sixteen. He’d been depressed since we were kids and I guess he couldn’t do it anymore. And I couldn’t keep living in the same place my brother died so one night I… just ran away.”

Spencer assumed you’ve been on your own ever since, and the tough shell you put out into the world was there to protect the little girl with red shoes.

“That’s all the information I have. I don’t know what else you need to know but you won’t find it with me.” You sighed. “So if you’re done, please leave. You’re scaring away my customers.”

A car passed slowly in front of you. By the look on the man’s face, he needed the service you provided and Spencer would stay next to you all night if it meant you’d be safe from those kinds of men.

There was something about you being all alone that didn’t feel right.

“I can help you get out,” he said.

You laughed. You really laughed then. You had a cute, contagious laugh. Spencer’s lips tugged at the corners into a small smile.

“You’re cute.” You wiped a fake tear off the corner of your eye. “I don’t know what makes you think I want to get out.”

“I can see it in your eyes.”

“Oh, really?” You stood right in front of him with a challenging stance. “What do you see in my eyes?”

Everything about you was intimidating—from your eyes to your voice, even the way you blinked—and yet he wasn’t phased by it, or he didn’t let it show, at least.

“That you don’t wanna be here. That your family failed you. And if you were given the chance, you’d leave this place.”

“My eyes tend to lie a lot.” You raised your brows, scanning his face up and down. “I’m a good liar.”

“I’m sure you are, but they’re not lying to me.”

You scoffed, breaking the staring contest. “Look, I appreciate whatever you’re trying to do here but it’s not working. Just leave me the hell alone, alright?”

He couldn’t fight you anymore, but that didn’t mean he was going to give up easily.

“Call me if you need anything, okay?” He reached for his wallet and took out a presentation card, handing it to you. “Anything at all.”

You stared at it for a moment before accepting it. He gave you a tight-lipped smile and took a few steps backward, waving goodbye.

Something about the way your hand shook when you took the card told him he had to miss the flight and stay for another night.

The two fell silent when they caught a glimpse of each other. A neatly dressed girl, her style minimalist and regal…in front of a boy with dirty army camouflage pants and a head of poorly twisted dreads. The youth in their features was undeniable, they couldn’t be far apart in age.

“…who…who are you?” Spider asked, his previous sass gone. He’d seen old humans, and seen young children, but a teenager? That was new.

“Deliah.” She turned her gaze to her clothes, dusting them off. “And you?”

“…Spider.”

The girl smiled, amused. “Spider? That’s your real name?”

Socorro stood. “Got a problem with it?”

“Not really, it’s just kinda silly. I like it.” She brushed her curls behind the ear. “Are you native then? Thought I was the only kid in this hole.”

“Yeah, I’m Pandorian.”

Deliah took liberty to circle the blonde, her attention on the hand-crafted beads in his hair. “Are you…like, a Na’vi?”

“Culturally, yeah.”

She grinned. “Wow! I heard grown ups talk about some "wildling" found in the forest, but didn’t believe them. How’d you survive??”

Spider noticed that he had a hard time turning his eyes away from hers. They were dark like his…and beautiful, glowing in the light steaming from a nearby window. Her attention felt strange. He wanted all and none of it at the same time.

Blood rushed to his cheeks. “I…uh, I dunno. It’s not that difficult once you learn how to keep up.”

“Is it true Na’vi don’t wear clothes?” She giggled.

“Sorry, was that rude?”

“Kinda. We do, just not much. Jungle gets hot, wearing too much can cause a heat-stroke.”

“Oooh, right, sorry, got it. It’s like a survival thing.”

Deliah had a pleasant voice, one akin to a light rain after the storm, or a calm stream on a sunlit morning. The sound of her made something flutter in Spider’s stomach, like he swallowed a flock of butterflies.

“….so…you’re like…what?”

She giggled again, what is so funny to her? Is she making fun of me? The boy thought as his face grew redder and heart kept pounding for a reason he could not understand. All he knew is that he wanted to run as far as possible from this person and hide, as well as stay in her presence forever.

“I’m mixed, kinda like most people around here. My mom’s a vice-rep and she wanted me off Earth asap, so now I’m here…dying of boredom instead of smoke.” She rocked on her heels.

“Was it scary? Leaving it all behind?”

“I um…didn’t have many friends.”

“Relatable.” He rubbed his neck.

Deliah raised her brows, her head side-ways. “Na’vi don’t like you?”

“Kinda, but it’s not because I’m human. It’s my ancestry…my squad’s small but we tight. They’re my ride or die.”

“Oh, hope you get to go home soon then..”

Spider smiled sadly. Just as he thought; she didn’t know he was kept here as a prisoner of war. It made the boy wonder what else RDA higher-ups hid from their people to keep them in line.

“But, while you’re here…do you um…since we’re the only human kids for miles—”

“Spider, what the hell did I tell you about wandering off?” A loud voice boomed across the corridor, making both children flinch. Spider turned with a grimace, meeting a cold gaze of his father’s clone.

“Who’s that guy??” Deliah whispered, half-hiding behind the boy. Her touch on his shoulder was soft, and her hand so delicate compared to his…

“Socorro, get your ass over here!”

“Okay okay! Fine…” Spider groaned, before throwing a last look at Deliah. “Goodbye.”

“Where are you going?”

“I Wasn’t supposed to be here. I’m usually in the military block. Just wanted to explore a bit.”

“So…you won’t come back?” The girl’s full lips pursed in a slight frown.

Spider felt a sudden tug on his bicep and whipped his head to see a blue hand wrapped around it, dragging him off. Quaritch’s gaze minutely fixed on the girl, who initially shrunk under it, then tried to assert herself by crossing her arms, but Miles couldn’t be fooled; she was a child.

A girl. In Bridgehead. Talking to Spider.

Oh Lord.

“Let go! I can walk on my own!” The kid hissed when the two entered an elevator. He then noticed Quaritch throwing mischievous glances his way. “What??”

“You sly dog.” He smirked.

“What!?!”

Time in Bridgehead never passed this slow. Spider couldn’t wait to be back where he belongs; in the forest, where he could somewhat forget he was a hostage.

And forget about her.

Spider rolled over on the bunk, face in his pillow. Three days have passed and Deliah still plagued his thoughts. How? Why? He’d never know. It must have been out of boredom. That was it. Just boredom.

Not at all her beautiful voice or shining curls or big eyes or that smile…

“Missing your girlfriend again?”

“OH FUCK OFF!!”

Maybe Spider would have already forgotten if not for recombinants. He’d have to slit Miles’s throat for spinning them a twisted version of their conversation. You should have seen this, he told his colleagues. This boy was whipped, ready to propose right then and there!

“So you were huh.” Lyle chuckled, leaning on the doorframe. “Pouting won’t make it better. Get up, breakfast is serving.”

The mess had been loud as usual, but as Spider sat to reluctantly eat an RDA prepared meal, something caught his attention.

A head of dark brown curls in the crowd.

Before the kid even knew it, he stood up, then climbed onto his seat to get a better look. Could it be…

“It’s not her, Spider. That Deliah girl is high rank, but still civilian. She’d never be let in here.” Miles pressed a hand on his shoulder, forcing Socorro back down.

Zdog giggled. “You’re adorable, you know that?”

“Shut up.” The kid pouted. “We had only one conversation. I’m not like, in love or anything.”

“You sure look like it…she did too.” Miles nudged him.

The boy gasped. “She was just being nice.”

“She was twirling her hair and giggling at your every word, that’s the clearest "I like you" I’ve ever seen.”

Spider blushed. Deliah wouldn’t like a boy from the forest. Why? He was a total opposite to her, a "princess" from Brideghead, with her neat clothes and golden jewellery and glowing skin and…

“Oh great, Romeo’s off into the clouds again.” Lopez rolled his eyes.

“You’re unbearable.” Spider growled, digging into his disgusting porridge. The faster he ate, the faster he could escape this embarrassing exchange with immature soldiers who seemingly had nothing better to do than to pick on him.

“You want me to take you along next time I report to the investors?” Lyle teased. “Maybe she’d be there~~”

“Lyle I didn’t ask you—…wait…really?”

The table erupted in guffaws and Socorro’s face turned as red as a tomato. He wanted to die.

“Dawwww~!” Ja mused. “This is too cute.”

“I HATE all of you!”

“Long day?” You ask as you peek around Prudii’s shoulder with a small grin on your face, “You look exhausted.”

Prudii flashes a small smile as he leans back against the bench, “It has been a long day. So many things to do. So much paperwork.” He shakes his head and pats the bench next to him, to invite you to sit down, “How about you? I haven’t seen you in a couple of days.”

“Oh, well. You know how it is.” You shrug as you drop onto the bench next to him, “I had to make all of the arrangements for my grandparents to get moved into that new Nursing Home, because you know my parents weren’t going to do it-”

“Ah, so that’s where you’ve been.”

You hold you hands out to the side as you shake your head, “Honestly, I had to go through the court system to get power of attorney for them, good thing that my family hasn’t been subtle in how they’ve been taking advantage of my grandparents.”

“I still think that you should have just thrown me and my brothers at the problem.”

“Honestly, you and your brothers do so much for me already, I couldn’t put this on you. Besides, my family, my responsibility.” You grin at him, “At this point, I’m pretty sure I already owe Kal my first born for all the help he’s given me in dealing with this.”

Prudii laughs, “Kal-Buir has been a great help to you, hasn’t he?”

“That lawyer he got for me is a shark. I’ve never been so impressed in my life.”

Prudii laughs again, and a small smile lifts your lips. It’s nice to talk to him, after all of the stress of the last couple of months. “Anyway,” You say after a moment, before you do something foolish like confess your love for him, “What are you up to today?”

“Well, I was thinking of hitting the hiking trail.” Prudii admits, “but hiking alone is no fun, and none of my brothers are available.”

“I’m free.” You offer, probably too quickly, given the fact that you hate hiking and nature.

Prudii shifts and throws his arm over the back of the bench as he turns to look at you, “You?”

“Yeah.”

“You hate hiking. And nature. And being outside.”

“Maybe I’ve grown as a person.”

“Uh-huh.” He replies doubtfully.

“I could have!”

“You’re going to be miserable. It’s hot, and there are spiders-”

“Well….well, I’m wearing shorts,” You counter defensively, “And you can protect me from the spiders.”

A sly smile crosses his face and he leans in so that his face is a lot closer to yours, pulling a startled squeak from your lips, “You know, you can just say that you want to spend time with me. I won’t judge you.”

You narrow your eyes at him, “That’s very arrogant of you, Prudii Skirata.”

He smirks, “I’m waiting~” Prudii says in a sing-song voice.

A huff falls from your lips and you fold your arms, “Fine. I would like to spent time with you, Prudii.”

“There we go, that wasn’t so hard, was it?”

“It was as painful as pulling teeth.” You sniff.

He laughs and tosses his arm over your shoulder, tugging you into his side, “You’re so dramatic.”

“Dramatic? Me? I would never-”

“Sure, sure.” He grins down at your face, “So, since we’re going to be spending time together, I got a question for you.”

“Oh?”

He pauses, “Eh, I’ll ask you later.”

You sputter at him, “I...you...You’re impossible! You can’t just say that and then change your mind!”

“Can and did! Come on, angel. We’re going hiking! With spiders. And Wasps! Isn’t that exciting?” He gets to his feet, dragging you with him.

“See, now I think you’re doing this on purpose.”

“Oh, absolutely.” He keeps his arm thrown over your shoulder, “But, you already agreed. So, no take-backs.”

“Ugh, what are you, five?”

“Thirteen, actually.”

You sigh, “That joke is never funny.”

“That joke is hilarious.” Prudii corrects as he starts walking you away from the park and towards the hiking trail, “You just don’t have a sense of humor.”

“I have a sense of humor, you just aren’t funny.”

“Ooh. Ouch. You’re not pulling your punches today, are you angel?” He looks amused though.

“Do you need me to?”

“Nah, I can take whatever you can dish.”

You glance at him for a moment, and then avert your gaze. Damn him and his stupid charm and his even more stupid smile-

“Well that’s good. I’d hate to hurt your feelings.” You murmur lightly.

“Ah, you could never.” His arm tightens around your shoulders, as he brings you to the sign board that indicates the various trails. “Lets see...we want...Ah, this one.”

“That hiking trail is 10 miles long.” You say flatly.

“It’s good exercise.”

“There isn’t even a path for half of it!”

“Don’t worry, angel. I won’t let you get hurt. And I won’t let us get lost.” Prudii downloads the map to his comm, and then tugs you to the start of the path, “Trust me.” He adds with a grin.

“I do trust you. Just, this is going to take forever.”

“It’ll be great. There’s a stop about a mile in where we can buy water and food, so you won’t have to worry about that.” He flashes a small grin at you, “Regretting your decision yet?

You scowl at him, “No.”

“Good.”

It’s about an hour later, when the pair of you are well on the path that Prudii picked, that he picks up the line of conversation that he started well before you started the hike, “So, angel,” He says as he helps you down off a large rock, “Got a boyfriend yet?”

“Please. As if I had the time for that.” You set your hands on his shoulders as he lifts you down from the rock and sets you on your feet next to him, “Besides, I’m undatable, remember?”

“Yeah, the opinions of assholes are worthless, angel.” Prudii counters with a roll of his eyes, “You definitely shouldn’t take the words of your ex as fact.”

“It’s not like I have a line of potential suitors, Prudii.” You say with your own eye roll.

“Well then, what’s your ideal type?”

You hesitate, just for a moment, before you throw all caution to the wind, “You.” Your answer is a little hesitant, not sure that he’d appreciate your answer.

Prudii blinks at you. Once, twice, three times. “Me?”

“Please don’t make this a thing-” You start, but you’re not able to finish as his lips crash against yours. His kiss is so forceful that you nearly topple backwards, though his arms settle securely around you.

“Oh thank Kriff, I thought you had a thing for Ordo.” Prudii breathes out against your lips, “And I was planning on telling you all of the horrible things I know about him-”

You blink at him, “I...were you jealous?” You ask, incredulously.

“Yes. Kriff yes. So kriffing jealous.” He kisses you again, and again.

“...and now?” You ask softly.

“Now, I’m so happy I think I might burst…and I owe Ordo an apology for blackening his eye.”

“You...what?”

He smiles sheepishly, “I was a lot jealous. I’ll talk to him about it.”

“He’s going to break your nose.”

“...yeah. Oh well, worth it! Because I can do this now.” His lips are on yours again in a matter of moments, and you melt against him. This is all you’ve ever wanted, after all.

Author's note: hello omg it took me a while to get back to writing 😭 my burn out has been soooo bad since my term break so I hope y'all understand 😭 also really fucking sad about Chan's room 🥹 I seeked so much comfort from that small part of my life until it's suddenly just gone 🥹 so I hope upon reading this fic you'll get a little bit happy somehow. Also, this was in my drafts for a while. I originally thought of this with Felix in mind but I eventually thought that this suits the other members too. I got inspo from watching Modern Family 🥹 I acc love that show so much I think I'm in my fifth rerun 😭 anw I hope you would all love this !

“Rough day?” you asked, closing the car door behind you and giving your husband a kiss upon seeing him pouting in your car. He just nods at you, giving you no explanation whatsoever. You just laughed as he drives away from the grocery store.

You were out running some errands for your family, which left your husband to hang out with his daughters’ boyfriends. You both have 3 children in total, all grown up. Your two daughters all thought it would be a fun idea to have their dad hang out with their boyfriends. At first, he seemed delighted with the idea, picking out itineraries that would be fun for all of them to do. You figured it all came crashing down when he suggested he pick you up, contrast to what you and your eldest daughter talked about. “Tell me what happened?” You asked, to which your husband lets out a fit of rage.

To their boyfriends making him feel out of place, to them complaining about how horrible was the plot of his chosen film for the day, your husband was really frustrated about the day. You really tried listening to his dilemma, but as he was going on to you about how much of an “assholes” their boyfriends were to him, you were just reminded of how good of a dad he is to your daughters; He has been so hands on with them even when they weren't born yet, and this never faded the minute they were born, making sure he could capture everything that they did. From the second they started crawling to babbling, and even walking, he made sure he caught it on camera. From canceling a whole day of work just because they’re sick to rushing to their recitals from a comeback stage. He always made sure that he made it known that he loved his kids and will always do.

“And I really want to get along with them, I really do.” he said, making a turn towards a street you’re unfamiliar with. “But they’re making it so fucking difficult for me.” he said. You just giggled at his complaints, “Love, I’m sure there will be other opportunities for you to have a deeper bond with them in the future.” you said, to which he just huffed at you. “You say that because they already respect you.” he said, “They better! I’m the one who took care of their girlfriends starting from my womb.” you argued, to which you both just laughed. “By the way, did you realize that we’re currently nowhere near home right now?” you asked him with a chuckle. “Oh I did that on purpose. They’re still at home with the girls and I still have a lot to tell you.” he said, taking a sip of the drink he bought before picking you up. “You idiot. I bought some meat and dairy back there!” you exclaimed, chuckling at your husband. “But I still have to complain to you!” he pouted, looking at you for a second before focusing his eyes on the road. “One way or another, they have to have a bond with you if they want to marry our daughters.” You said to him, “You really think so?” he asked, to which you hummed in response. “You were literally the perfect dad for them. If they can’t form a bond with you then I don’t think our daughters would settle for less.” you said, grabbing his hand that was resting on the gear stick and holding it. “I taught them so.” you smiled at him, to which he smiled. You gave him a peck on the cheek and you notice him make his way back to the direction of your home. “Wanna go home already?” you asked. “Yeah, I miss our kids already. Fuck their boyfriends.” he said, to which you just smiled and leaned on his arm.

No matter how well their boyfriends treat your daughters, you always know that they’ll always fall short of him.

“Just get in!” Braden shooed y/n into the old timey Photo Booth. He followed in after her, having to squish in due to the small space. Y/n shuffled a bit and ended up on Braden’s lap.

“Jesus I can’t even see how I look,” y/n whined, looking into the lense of the camera. It was a straightforward Photo Booth with no screen to show how the pictures would come out. Vintage and a bit decrepit. Braden argued that the old thing had charm though.

“Oh stop it, you look fucking amazing,” Braden squeezed her cheek and went in for a kiss. The couple laughed in between each peck, high off of happiness. “This is the happiest day of my life don’t ruin it by saying dumb things like that.” He smiled at her, y/n truly was the love of his life.

Back again at the Photo Booth, Braden entered first, not wanting to squish y/n this time. She plopped herself on his lap, adjusting the bandana on her head.

“More pictures from the Photo Booth where I don’t know if I look good,” y/n joked. Although there wasn’t a mirror or screen to look at, she still did small touch ups as if there were one.

Braden started to put the coins in the coin slot, “Mhmm. We’re gonna start taking a picture here every month. Just to see how time moves by.” The Photo Booth started to make those familiar clicks which let you know it was time to get ready.

“Awe baby, you’re such a sentimentalist,” Y/n cooed as she placed a kiss on Braden’s cheek. She loves that about him, how much he cared about the little things. He always made the most of their time and memories.

“Well you bring it out of me,” Braden turned his face and brought her in for a kiss. And then another one. And another one. Y/n heard the clicks from the camera, knowing they only had one more picture left.

“Oh my gosh, we’re gonna ruin our photos cause you wanna make out!”

“Alright, alright. Let’s do a lil silly one just to make up for it,” Braden laughed as he got into his final pose.

“Im gonna look silly regardless cause you messed up my makeup!!” Y/n gasped realizing she was wearing lip product. She hid her face with a peace sign.

Soon the pictures came out of the photo slot, Braden grabbing the warm paper. He tapped it, smiling at the final product. “These came out perfect.”

“And one, two, three,” Braden counted as he held the camera up to his eye. You stayed in the exact pose he told you to, you had to translate his vision perfectly. Braden had bought a camera just to take pictures of the pregnancy journey. There was nothing he was more excited for than seeing his baby grow. Both you and the actual literal baby inside of you. He got up and showed you the photo he had just taken.

“Oh my gosh, Braden,” you gasped happily, “the picture came out perfect. You really have an eye for photography.” You we’re so proud of him. I’m everything he does he just excels. His hockey career was flourishing. Obviously he was amazing at his new hobby. There was no doubt in your mind that he would be the perfect father.

“Yeah, if I don’t make it to the big leagues in hockey I can always just be a photographer huh,” he joked. But his eyes never left the picture that was displayed on the screen. He could never explain how he felt in words, but it felt like his heart was glowing and radiating. Just pure joy.

“You can give your resignation today when you post that picture on Instagram, tell ‘em you’re done and you wanna take photos of pregnant ladies all day,” you joked back, now laying back on the bed because carrying a baby in your stomach all day was tiring.

Braden’s head whipped back at you, “You mean… I can actually post it? Let everyone know now?” He was like a big ol’ kid who could finally let out a secret.

“Yes, Braden, you can. Besides, they’re gonna start suspecting something when I come to the games. I’d rather them know I’m pregnant than think I’m sneaking snacks into the arena.”

i know we’re all focused on the new video(s) but reentering my phannie phase even though I’ve been watching them since 2013 and them looking back at the pinofs I get emo sometimes thinking about how much dnp have truly affected my life. i was 12 and had nerdy friends that showed me this video of two guys with cat whiskers and unfortunately we grew apart but my life was altered from that day forth lmao i have such vivid memories of walking home from school listening to muse bc I wanted to know more about this band they loved so much. watching them react to their looks today feels so weird bc I used to post about them in real time on my fan account and I don’t feel like the same person yet I am?? they’ve grown so much and I feel like I’ve grown with them and I’m loving their content more than ever and they just have such a specific and special relationship with us I love it
