Vamp!Sanji x Zoro au drabble // (I've made lore to this specific au I still need to come up with a name for it)
Abandonment was a theme all too familiar to Sanji - his younger years were none to bright, and the outside world was known to be cruel. Immortals were not immune to the harshness of life, and Sanji was filled to the brim with scars.
The place he stayed at, the large mansion that had once belonged to his family, was his own sanctuary. Rarely leaving, Sanji knew the place better than his own name.
His body was weak at the moment. It was disgusting, how the blood of humans was the only thing that kept his body from turning into a beast of unlovable value.
Weakness meant Sanji couldn't stay his normal self. His taller body, his regular old self couldn't be sustained. His body would revert back into those forms, the ones that revealed the parts of Sanji that he either feared or couldn't leave behind.
Sitting on the windowsill, Sanji watched as the sun slowly started setting. The shade from the roof's edge kept Sanji safe, hidden from the harsh rays of the star.
Nobody ever visited. Not like Sanji had anyone to visit, anyway. As much as it pained him, he refrained from even speaking to the lovely ladies that caught his eye.
He couldn't get close to anyone. But that was a story for later.
In the distance of the forest, there was visible movement.
How odd. To see it from this distance, there must be something going on. Sanji had eyes everywhere around his end of this deadly forest, and yet he knew of nothing that could cause such ruckus.
The rare occasion of a visitor? Of perhaps, a lost soul viable for his next meal? Sanji wouldn't have to go hunting for small creatures all night, if he got lucky.
Little did Sanji know, that the visitor he would get would change everything.

NO, waitwaitwait! I got it! Vampire!Sanji who's pallet is "refined", but he's just a picky eater. Where he can't drink from devil fruit eaters because they taste weird and have no nutritional value, fishmen have a horrible taste, way too salty and make his immune system weaken, and Franky's blood is just cola at this point.
So all he has left is: Nami, who doesn't let him drink unless it's life or death, or he pays her an absurd amount that would leave seven generations after him in debt.
Usopp, who gets anemic way too easily and is afraid of needles, but still "donates" as much as possible every one or two months, but it's usually a week's worth at best. At least he does it like a nirmal person - having Chopper take some and store it in a proper container.
And of course... Zoro. The perfect donor with plenty of blood and always quick to regeneration.
But the problem there is that Sanji hates drinking from him. He hates that he thinks making Chopper drain it is pointless and tell him to "Just come to me when you're hungry, don't waste any of the doctor stuff, it's fine." He hates that evey time he gets hungry he finds Zoro conveniently working out near him. He hates that he tastes so irresistible. He hates that every time Zoro, so willingly offers any part of his body, telling him what's important is that Sanji's comfort drinking from there.
He hates all of it! He hates the little noises he can't stop making when he goes after a long day of starving himself. He hates that he's so desperate and wanting. He hates thay Zoro is so understand, so comforting. He hates that while he's drinking, Zoro will pet his hair, brush it behind his ear so he can watch Sanji drain him. And he hates how happy it makes him.
Sanji often takes breaks from eating. He says it's a traditional thing, like fasting or a ramadan. But the truth was that he was trying to reduce how much he consumed. He usually only needed a cup's-worth of blood for three or even for days. And he would drink it in evenly spaced intervals of time.
Every month, he started with Usopp's blood. It's nicely packaged and dosed by Chopper to last him around a week and a half. And he was happy that it's a stability he could count on. But once that's over, he can't bring himself to go crawling to Zoro. He stops eating for as long as he can. But then he brakes. He always breaks in the end, and when it rains it pours. Sanji would wake up in a cold sweat, stomach hurting as if someone cut it open. He would try to stand on wobbly feet, most of the time unsuccessfully, and find Zoro. He would sink his teeth in with a fierceness he would despise if he didn't feel like his body was designating.
Zoro, already being used to it, would relax as soon as Sanji's teeth drew blood. He wouldn't flinch or protest. He would mutter reassurances to Sanji as his tears poured because of realization of what he's done. And he knew that until the next dose of Usopp's blood, Sanji would get addicted to the feeling of sinking his teeth into slightly tanned skin and feeling his pulse with the skin of his lips. Having the heat of fresh blood running down his throat.
They'd get scolded by Chopper for letting it get out of hand again and getting "hurt". But the next month or so the same thing would happen.
