- you knew his about his not-so-subtle crush on your dad when you first met, and decided not to tell him

- you adore him but whose to say he won't just use you as an excuse to hang out with your philanthropist billionaire playboy dad?

- but you'd been dating awhile, and had met Aunt May (who adored you), so why were you avoiding the subject of your dad?

- that was until you were fixing your suit and Peter walked in, gave you a kiss and offered to help. You forgot the little engraving your dad left you on your suit, "be careful and kick ass, love dad"

- you knew she approved of him, but she liked to keep him on his toes

- oh how does one BEGIN to explain to their bullet proof boyfriend that their dad is Thor?

- he knew you had to be other worldly, and not just because he thinks you're a Goddess you accidentally struck him with lightning one time

- you wanted to keep it a secret for a bit before the Almighty Thor comes in and demands to know Luke's intentions

- "babe, why is Thor asking me when I'm proposing?"

- being a God came with perks, so Thor knew not long after you guys started dating that something was amiss with his daughter

- (you stopped remembering to being him poptarts and he got upset)

- "how do I know if he is worthy of your hand?"

- Billy and Tommy immediately recognized Ava, seeing as they'd work with the team from time to time and said "ooh our sisters dating the smart one"

- Wanda adores Ava, she thinks she's good for you and might as well have someone mentally stable in your life

- Meanwhile in Avas' mind, "omg omg her mom is Scarlet Witch, her dad is Vision - wait is that why she's so smart? Is my girlfriend a robot?"

Sam Alexander headcanons

Just a bunch of random headcanons abt my boy Sam

USM Nova

Since he's the shortest(and most likely the smallest in the team), he often gets teased by Peter, who's just a little bit taller than Sam. There were plenty times when they had some banters because of this height issue, that Ava and Danny often were dragged into it. Usually it always ends with Luke's "My dwarfs are bantering again lol" and now everyone after his smug tall ass.

Not a dancer, not a singer, not a musician, but definetely an artist. Has a little art account where he posts his super cool drawings for his 47 followers. It's a small fan base, but they're definetely active and even have their own discord group where they help each other to improve their skills. Nobody knows about this account(Except for Coulson who keeps that sacred secret) and Sam kinda feels like that's the only way he can actually express himself without getting worried about being annoying.

And about being annoying. Sam is definetely uncomfortable with being seen as clingy, because he's not! He's just really talkative extrovert and he does have some problems with shuting up when he's talking about things he's interested in. That's why usually only Danny can handle his endless rants about Space adventures.

Likes to play in Minecraft, especially with space mods, even made a skin of himself. Once tried to make everyone on the team to play in Minecraft and succeed! They've played for 2 hours straight, busy with different stuff. Pretty much sure Danny was exploring the world, Luke got an armor and ran to fight that Dragon, Ava was trying to make a big stylish house and was complaining that there was no female villagers, Peter was constantly dying because of the stupidest things ever, and Sam? Sam was multitasking and helping them all out. It was a fun experience.

Champion Sam

He's actually an extremely overethinking person with quick reflexes. That's pretty much how he survives in space. It happens that his overthinking is also quite a problem, because it often makes him anxious, especially when he loses fights, or gets in awkward conversation with adult superheroes or just talks to girls he liked. Sometime it's just easier to fly away, but he not oftens gets an opportunity to do so.

In childhood he kinda was 'impressed' by gangsta thing and tried to walk around with his pants sagging. His mom was concerned by that, because gangs aren't about fun and what if her little baby boy will get in some bad company? Luckily, it couldn't happen because his dad clowned him so badly, he was in embarassed state for two weeks at the very least.

It is a bit hard for him to participate in conversations with others about science since he was never a fan of it, but hey, at least he can make jokes about science! (Although most of them are insanely innacurate). Whenever he cracks a joke everyone will went silent for a few seconds, before Kamala will laugh like it was the funniest joke ever, really forcing natural laugh and others will start that too, since, yeah, Sam's joke is terrible, but he tried!

Somehow installed his playlist in his helmet and whenever he has to fly to somewhere for a long time, which is at least 15 minutes, and it is already long for him, he turns in on and just flies, vibing. Sometime it feels like running in the morning and he made an excuse out of it that works perfectly. Back then when only his mom knew about his secret, he used this excuse a lot. He needs to fly and save someone? "Guys, I'm going jogging, yeah, bye" and when he returs he's kinda sweaty and tired and everyone buys it. He can't use this excuse now though, everyone who needs know about his secret identity.

actually ok real talk usm did sam DIRTY!!! there r so many opportunities to explore his character and how he acts as a person and instead they take rhe opportunity to spin it into a comic relief !! that’s not to say i hate usm sam because i Don’t i draw him 90% of the time and i think he’s such a little goober HOWEEVR i think how they did him is sick and twisted and reminds me a LOT of 2020’s champions, because they made the choice to turn him into a goofy idiot rather then a guy who actually cares about his friends. thank god they didn’t go THAT far in usm, he still cares about his team, and he gets more bearable in late s1-s2 but…

also it was criminal how as a nova enjoyer the writers decided to get lazy and chop him out along with most of the other ultimates for the excuse of madam web and space stuff. like it Makes Sense but also like if he was there during hydra island he would have totally fucking obliterated it ??????? and the writers didn’t want him to destroy another ship i Guess

Peter squinted his eyes at the fluorescent light. Ah, the tricarrier medbay. Went down in a fight... hmmm, the last thing he remembered was… Mesmero. “Aw, cra- crap!” that was not his voice. That was…

“Ugh what happened... what the... what the!?”

“No. Not you.”

“What did you do?! This- this is wrong. This is so wro- ugh, how do you turn the sticky off.”

“Oh, no… did you guys…” Ava droned. After the Loki incident it wasn’t hard to guess what had happened.

Peter sighed before sliding off the cot, the metal of the nova suit feeling annoyingly heavy. “You don’t ‘turn it off’, you relax.” He walked over to help Sam unstick from the bed sheet but flinched back.

“Ok! Geeze, you don’t have to yell. I haven’t had spider powers before.”

“I didn’t-” Peter was cut off by the teams laughing, Luke clapping in his amusement.

Sam flinched at the sound, dropping the sheet and covering his ears. When he went to meet gazes to tell the team to shut up he couldn’t get his eyes open more than a sliver before squinting and curling over.

“P- uh, Sam? Are you alright?” Danny asked gently and reached out to comfort. Sam flinched and slapped Danny’s hand away. A loud crack resounded in the infirmary followed by Danny’s yell of pain. Iron fist cradled his now broken wrist as Sam began hyperventilating.

“Wha- oh cr- sorry, I- oh gods.”

The team jumped into ready stances as Fury and Coulson reached for their guns. Spiderman was very powerful and if he went off the rails it was a big deal. Connors guided Danny to sit down and begin casting his wrist. Sam’s panic swelled as firearms were pointed in his direction. Realization hit Peter like the jougernaut as he rushed over to turn off the lights and guided everyone to stand down.

“What are you-”

“Shhh!” Peter cut Fury off with splayed arms. The room sat quiet as Sam’s breathing slowed. He hesitantly opened his eye’s to see his own terse, concerned face looking back.

“What. Was that.” Sam said glaring at Peter.

“I have enhanced senses. Sounds are louder, light is brighter. You get used to it but take it easy.”

“I can’t believe this.” Sam swung his arm for emphasis. The action reminding him of his earlier action. “Danny! Oh crap, I’m so sorry, I-” Sam looked at his hands, peters hands. He had superstrength. Sam did too when he used his helmet but he could always feel the Nova force around him when he used it. Now, he didn’t even feel strong, everything just felt fragile. Breaking Danny’s hand had been like cracking a pretzel.

“How do you…”

“A lot of trial and error. Lucky for you, I can help you skip the error part.”
