since oliver banks X graham folger is canon now I'm thinkin about ship names for them because I have yet to see them and yknow the usual tma ship name method is a bit long. olivergraham/grahamoliver. sure we maybe got oligraham or smth but then I went the lonelyeyes route and I just.

Light would make a compelling web avatar, seeing as manipulation is his most common tactic. However, I do think an avatar of the end is to be taken into consideration.

Death is a driving factor of both deathnote and light’s character. The deathnote would surely be an end artifact if in TMA. It’s what light affects the series most by giving and it’s what he’s most afraid of.

So, to compromise, I’d say Light is an avatar of the web, marked by the end (and eventually killed by it with Ryuk.)

Ryuk is a tricky one. Right off the bat, I’m tempted to go with vast cause… god… but he’s not actually characterized as godly. He’s kind of just a lil scamp. So, the end is the next obvious choice, and thematically it would make sense… But he is also defined by his curiosity for humans and spends almost the entire series just watching without doing anything. He would make for the perfect she avatar.

So, maybe like… End by species, eye by trade? Is that possible?

And Rem!! She’s surely be slaughter. More than Ryuk, Rem takes action and it’s usually not plotted out. Her murders are spur of the moment, (Watari, L, and killing for miss that one time with higuchi). Still, because of L, I’m tempted to make her an avatar of the end because of his fear for it (the bells the bells the never ending bells.)

Not to mention, I’m already thinking that matsuda would be related to the slaughter and I don’t want it to get too repetitive.
