Regarding the "least to most likely to protect themselves from the doppels", others used guns and some don't. Who do you think are those who are skilled in martial arts or at least knows how to physically defend themselves? Like no guns and knives, just objects around them to defend themselves and fists

in addition for women being able to work more in the tnmn universe. People who want to stay at home more often would be less likely mocked so the apartment having 3 househusbands wouldn’t bat an eye to anyone and some would think they’re smart

Since they're now the homemakers, they have to ensure that their homes are in order. They have make sure that their wives return home to safe place. Free from doppels.

And in order to keep their home safe, they always have a firearm on the ready when they're home alone, in case a doppel accidentally slips through security.

at least in this apocalypse scenario gender roles may not apply as much or at all (with there being as much housewives as there is women with jobs) due to huge desperation for workers with how many may get killed so woman could be more likely to accepted for jobs. I don’t know how accurate the game dev is trying to make this game’s time accurate with how limited it is in world building or why they decided to choose this time specifically when some of the clothes look modern like Anastacha’s or Henry’s uniform.

I agree. I mean if people are getting killed off slowly everyday, I don't think being choosey is a wise choice for the sectors who's going low on staff from doppel killings.

But yeah, I'm also interested why the game dev chose the 1950s as the setting 🤔. And about accuracy, actually I tried searching up if anastacha and henry's clothes were a thing in the 50s. Based on that, polo shirts and sailor uniforms for girls did exist at the time (albeit it's not clear whether they're used as a uniform)
