I have a lot of ideas, mainly duckiedeer tho, so this might be long, feel free to ignore it if you don't want to read it, lmao.

One where Alastor is greyromantic, so he has never felt romantically towards anybody.

Lucifer moves in and their bickering just increases, and he does what he has always used to do with his rivals and he starts flirting with Alastor in whatever way will piss the radio demon off the most. With the time Alastor catches feelings and at first he doesn't get what they are, but after seeing the way Husk and Angel act he gets it, and he hates it. The solution? Make their bickering everyone's problem by being as loud as he can, to convince himself he still hates him and he's just confused.

Lucifer catches feelings as well a while after, he realizes after noticing the sarcastic flirting is losing the sarcasm, he tries and fails to ignore the feeling, and just increases when he goes to bed and can't help but think about Alastor's seemingly redder face, from a fairly adorable pick up line he tried earlier.

Now you have two idiots aggressively pinning like highschool girls and both very angry with themselves about it, both try to get rid of the feelings just to end up falling deeper.

This is just Alastor, you know, since he was alive during WWI, I thought maybe he fought on it. Before WWI he didn't have any immoral tendencies, he was just weird, then he fought on WWI, and the feeling of killing someone sunk on him. By the end of the war is when he actually became a serial killer.

Back to radioapple.

Charlie gave Lucifer a 50,000 piece puzzle once they finished the hotel, the picture was a mountain of rubber ducks, so you could tell it took him a lot to get any of it done since the pieces where all really similar with mainly yellow. They placed it on a big table near the bar where everyone usually hung out, so if anyone wanted to help the were welcomed to, he sat there for hours everyday for a few months trying to advance with it.

One day Alastor, pretty annoyed that the puzzle was taking all of his pathetic love interest arch nemesis’ attention, he did the only logical solution which was helping him out with the thing. This helped to:

1. Understand what was so appealing about the thing that Lucifer wasn't interested on hating him as much anymore.

2. Bicker with him as they assembled the thing.

The plan backfired, Alastor ended up loving the puzzle just as much as Lucifer, and now they have something to bond over. Neither knows how to feel about it.

Lucifer gets really depressed from time to time, and he gets nightmares.

He used to cuddle Charlie and Lilith before when this happened, but Lilith wasn't here anymore and Charlie slept with Vaggie, so he couldn't just ask to sleep with them like he was their child. So somehow he ended up on Alastor's room and cuddled up to him, and now it was just something they did every time Lucifer had nightmares, if somebody knew this happened they didn't dare to bring it up.

Subsequently, one day Alastor just came up to Lucifer and gifted him a giant Duck plushie to cuddle up to the nights he wasn't at the hotel, the duck had a duck-adapted version of Alastor's outfit and it smelled like the raio demon.

Lucifer keeps a radio hidden on his room, he listens to Alastor's broadcast when he feels low, nobody knows about this.

Alastor keeps an apple shaped ornament on his radio station where he can see it while broadcasting, Lucifer keeps an Alastor duckie on his workshop.

Giving the “Alastor gets a celestial wound after Adam's fight that can only be cured by Lucifer” trend a twist for my slowburn fan ass, Lucifer takes several days to heal Alastor's wound, at first, he doesn't let Lucifer come near his body, which only slows the process, but then theystart bonding and he slowly starts to let Lucifer make physical contact with him, first they are quick touches through his clothes, then he let's Lucifer linger his hand directly over his wound.

Alastor drags Lucifer to overlord meetings, Rosie is delighted to meet him the first time he goes to one, then the three of them just have their own private conversation while ignoring wherever topic is being discussed that day.

Husk asks Angel out solely because he sees how pathetic Alastor and Lucifer look pinning on eachother like that, and refuses to look life that himself.

Lucifer and Alastor leave gifts in eachother's rooms on increasingly unhinged places (e.g: inside the pillows, taped to the ceiling) Alastor makes a point to leave them on tall places as well, with petty notes attached on them (e.g: Bambi looking ass). They deny the gifts being actually meaningful, despite the presents being sweet (e.g: chocolates, books, scented candles with eachother's favorite smells).

Lucifer loves sweet and sour flavors (chocolate milk, apple juice, sour candy), while Alastor prefers salty and bitter (black coffee, unsweetened tea, chips). They hate on each other's tastes, but secretly try some of the other's favorite foods out of curiosity.

Kaji is horrible. He he sleeps in random positions, move a lot and hit you in his sleep. He often ask why you have bruises on random part of your body and he frowns if you say it's him in his sleep. It's hard to have a cute moment with him when he sleeps, but he's into cuddle as long as he's half asleep.

4.5/10 for the bruises adn the fact that you're sure to wake up at least once every night.

Kiryuu is the best with Sakura I think. He doesn't move a lot and you basically replace is pillow. You're stuck in his arms all night but he's not caging you, he just feel calmer and sleeps better with someone/something between his arms.

8/10 bc you still can't really move.

Umemiya is chill. You have to take his glasses off his face because he often falls with it. You can usually snuggle with him, your back against his chest and sleeping on his open arm. He naturally curls himself around you, snooping you and his legs laying on top of yours. You can easily push him if need though.

9/10, my fav but no one is perfect. (I'm that annoying teacher)

Ongoing Series - Thai

Two Worlds (Thurs IQIYI) ep 4 of 10 - I don’t say this often but I LOVE this love triangle. The longing gazes = chef's kiss. I like that we are finally getting flashbacks to Tai’s side of the love affaire. This show remains highly engaging. So pleased for MaxNat.

Deep Night (Thurs iQiyi) ep 5 of 8 - More lesbians! Yay! Meanwhile, when our leads make up they make out! (Yes I’m proud of myself.) I think this might be BLs first rooftop sex scene. We’ve reached new heights, BLabies. (Yes I’m proud of that too.) Anygay, basically a soap opera at this point, I'm not thrilled but I don’t mind.

City of Stars (Fri iQIYI) ep 10 of 12 - It was lovely. Very well done celebrity leaving the closet ep. Nice ensemble work too. Next week is doom! As expected.

Ongoing Series - Not Thai

Unknown (Taiwan Tues YouTube & Viki) ep 7 of 11 - Qian was, indeed, the one who couldn’t let go. This show is fucking fantastic. It's the best thing I'm watching right now by a mile.

Jazz for Two (Korea Gaga/grey) eps 3-8fin - The bully and the blue-haired drummer side pairing were great. I hated the father. Hated him so much. Our main tsundere seme was a bit too tsundere for me. I was v annoyed by the time he finally softened. I'm amused by all the ways they finagled boys kissin-but-not-kissing in the first half of this show. 2024's "pan around the back of the head" has now become a "dipping of the brolly." We did, however, eventually get an okay kiss.

Honestly?

This was basically what I wanted from Given and didn’t get. So I’m pleased. The music still wasn't great, but you can skip those bits. A solid enemies to lovers BL, where the sins of brothers' past haunts the present. Great optics, decent chemistry, and a tidy script even if tsundere characterization went a bit extreme in some cases. 8/10 RECOMMENDED trigger for suicide

Love is Better the Second Time Around AKA Koi wo Suru nara Nidome ga Joto (Japan Weds Gaga) ep 5 of 6 - We got the past betrayal in detail and it was decently bad. Bitterness understood. Too soon to live together! The BL U-Haul strikes again. I do like their weird curry passive aggressive argument. This is an interesting show. Do I LOVE it? No. But I think I like it.

On a not-really-related note: adoption, including adult adoption, is actually pretty common in Japan (comparatively). It's often tied to business scionism.

My Strawberry Film (Japan Thurs Gaga) ep 8fin - It all turned out to be a tragic GL in the end. Not BL = not my problem. No rating. I will forget its existence right about… now.

Love is like a Cat (Korea Mon Viki) eps 1-2 of 12 - Okay, weirdly kinky with the head scratching. Not much has happened and I’m not wild about what has.

We Are (Weds GMMTV iQIYI) ep 1 of 16 - University ensemble BL featuring PondPhuwin, WinnySatang, AouBoom, MarcPawinPoon - basically the good kind of messy gay friendship group (so more My Engineer and less Only Friends). Looks a bit like the Kiss series but everyone is queer. I'm IN but I need my other computer and I'm traveling as usual. So I'll get caught up next week and probably won't regularly be able to watch this one.

Graduation Countdown (Taiwan YouTube) - It's too much for me to keep up with 2 minute verticals, I don't have that kind of TikTok endurance training.

A Secretly Love (Thai Sat WeTV grey) 10 eps - Completed. Worth watching?

Lady Boy Friends (Thai WeTV grey) 16 eps - reminds me a bit too much of Diary of Tootsies only high school. Not my thing. DNF unless it turns a corner and is truly amazing.

Kiseki Chapter 2 (Sun iQIYI) 6 eps - It’s so boring DNFed at 2.

Close Friend Season 3: Soju Bomb! (Weds iQIYI) 6 - The problem with situational comedy BL is it must be situational, comedic and a BL. This show gets 1 of 3 claims correct. 33% is not a passing grade. Dropped at 3.

In the news

Takumi-kun Series 6: Nagai Nagai Monogatari is getting the undeserved honor of Furritsubs. Follow them for details. Tip 'em if you like 'em. (Will I watch it? Oh, probably. Damn it.)

Then Next Prince turned out to be a trailer only. Word on the webs is we will be lucky if we get it this year. It’s BL Princess Diaries. Jimmy has a new pairing (that boy from Night Dream) which is... interesting. All in all, this show does not look good. Pretty but not good.

4/11 Gray Shelter AKA Gray Currents (Korea ????) 4 eps - SooHyuk is only just surviving and reunites with YoonDae, an old friend. They end up living together. One of the leads is played by Choco of Choco Milk Shake.

4/12 Living With Him AKA Kare no Iru Seikatsu (Japan Gaga) 10 eps - Kindly Ryota goes off to uni only to find his new roommate is his childhood bestie, Kazuhito. Kazuhito doesn’t have a girlfriend and Ryota tries to help him figure out why, they fall in love along the way. Same director as Old Fashion Cupcake.

4/18 At 25:00, in Alaska AKA 25 Ji, Akasaka de (Japan Gaga) 10 eps - Yuki lands his first starring role in a BL drama alongside superstar Asami (previously his senior at uni). Said superstar suggests they form a sham relationship until filming concludes. As they actually begin to fall in love, the spotlight begins to burn. I think I've seen this before (joke) and also the trailer doesn't inspire confidence.

4/26 My Stand-In (Thai iQIYI) 12 eps - adaptation of Chinese novel "Professional Body Double" by Shui Qiang Cheng. Stars Up (Lovely Writer) and Poom (Bake Me Please) directed by the same team as KP (not a recommendation IMHO - my biggest criticism of that show was the clashing directing styles). This one looks well complicated, lemme try: Joe is a stuntman for famous actor Tong. Joe falls in love with Ming but Ming sees Joe as nothing more than a Tong-replacement. After learning this horrible truth, Joe dies. Joe then wakes up in the body of another man also named Joe. He manages to rebuild the same life as before—with the same people eventually re-meeting Ming. Ming wants Joe back but Joe doesn't understand why. But Ming seems to know what's going on and wants to give him some kind of explanation.

I'm exhausted just trying to describe the plot.

I suddenly had a thought of GhostSoap being normal human beings and doing normal human being things and wanted to write some stuff for it.

1) Simon always forgets to replace the fuckin toilet paper and Johnny loses his mind over it every single time

2) Johnny has these quiet little snores that whistle out every time he breathes out and while it’s mildly annoying some nights Simon still finds it so endearing

3) Simon hogs the blankets, even in summer cause he’s just always cold, no matter what. Johnny tends to just snuggle in real close to Simon when he gets cold

4) Johnny is the cook of the house. He’s really good at it (his mother refused to let him leave home without knowing how to survive on his own) but he can’t bake. Simon’s the opposite where he can bake (his mum loved baking, taught him everything she knew) but can’t cook to save his life

5) Johnny’s always stealing Simon’s leftovers or hidden treats and Simon has threatened to stab him once or twice over it (it never stops Johnny from doing it again)

6) Simon totally found a stray cat and got the ‘you wanna keep him, you look after him’ talk and he has never been more devoted to looking after another living being after the whole thing with his family

7) Johnny’s got a million and one things in their bathroom all for the sake of looking after his hair and skin and what not and he definitely sits Simon down on the toilet seat every so often so he can do the same for him

8) Johnny seeks validation near constantly. Simon doesn’t know why but he always, always makes sure Johnny knows he’s appreciated and doing good and whatever else the man needs validation on

9) When Simon has night terrors the way to calm him down is to just let him cling to you. Don’t speak or anything just let him hold you and let him reassure himself that your alive and well. 10) Johnny is the worst at taking out the trash. Since they live in a semi-old apartment complex they had to take their rubbish all the way downstairs when the bin in their place got full and Johnny fucking hates it

11) When one of them get put on leave and have to go back to the apartment by themselves they’ll play the other persons music and cook their favourite foods (or try at least) to try and fool themselves into thinking they’re not alone in their home

12) Simon totally has a stuffed toy that belonged to Joseph and while it sits on his shelf he was still terrified Johnny was going to say something bad about it or try and get rid of it (that’s happened once with an ex) but Johnny saw it, called it cute and then proceeded to look after it when Simon couldn’t

13) Johnny may not look it but he’s a bit of gardener. He’s got a windowsill full of herbs in the kitchen and their balcony has some random plants that he doesn’t actually know the name or origin of but he looks after them and has very specific instructions for Ghost to follow when he’s not around

14) Simon’s friends with the old guy that runs the convenience store down the street from their apartment and not because he tried to befriend the guy or anything, but because the guy thought Simon looked funny with his mask and decided he was going to favour him out of all of his customers

15) The neighbours tried hitting on Simon once and Johnny happened to open the door and heard them flirting with his boyfriend. He got so possessive that he made out with the bigger man against their door jamb for like 5 minutes until Simon pulled him inside. The news spread very quickly after that

16) The apartment complex have a betting pool going about what they do for a living because they hold such weird hours and will disappear for months at a time. None of them wanna ask the two though cause they’re all a little scared of the both of them

17) Simon’s a bookworm and if it weren’t for their tiny apartment he’d have his own, personal library filled to the brim with books

Summary: you team up with Reo and Chigiri and head to the second stage, where you would battle against Isagi, Barou and Nagi, who will win? And who will be stolen?

"Reo, wanna team up with us?"

"Leave me alone" he answers, an annoyed look on his eyes

"What happened to him? He used to be so cocky with us" Chigiri asks, a tsk sound coming out of Reo's mouth

"I told you, Nagi wanted to play with Isagi, so he left him behind" you explain to Chigiri before turning to Reo "What? Did you think that Nagi will mindlessly follow you everywhere?"

"Huh?!" Reo asks you even more annoyed than before, making you smirk "aren't you the same with this red hair?"

"Not really, i waited for him because i wanted to, i could easily join anyone and still make it work" you shrugged

"Ouch, I'm hurt Yn" Chigiri says playfully "we wanna to kick Isagi and Bachira asses after they left us being"

"Soo.. You join us or not?"

"Why? Why me? Why would you want me on your team?" Reo asks confused

"Because you're clever"

"Because you're incredible" both Chigiri and you say at the same time, making Reo blush

"Yeah…you're right. I am skilled and incredible, having me on your team gives you value you can’t get anywhere else. And yet… he had to go and leave me… for Isagi! That stupid whiny baby just pisses me off!!" Reo exclaims, making raise your eyebrow

"You know what? I don't want him anymore" you say to Chigiri "I'm sure we can find someone else, i meet this dude called Yukimiya and he was super nice"

"Relax, that could help us" Chigiri chuckles "oi, we want to beat Isagi and you want to beat Nagi, so how about an alliance of revenge?"

"Sounds good to me. It's a pleasure to be working with you, Chirigi, Yn" Reo takes Chigiri's hand, accepting the offer "let's kill the bastards who betrayed us"

"You're talking too far" you say rolling your eyes

"Lets beat them all, elite" Chigiri adds with a smile

You three go to the door to the second stage, one of the fastest teams to form and go through the doors. You enter the next room, a big one with a number three on the floor with a few teams waiting there. The TV turns on the moment you enter, Ego appearing on the screen as he explains how this new stage is going to work.

"So basically we battle and take a player of the other team until there's only one left?" Chigiri asks

"Yeah, pretty much. We basically have to play against someone we want to steal for our team" you add. Suddenly your rankings changed, according to Ego's explanation, it was according to the order in which everyone cleared the first stage, explaining the number two on it

"Damn, N°2 huh? Well done Yn!" Chigiri ruffles your hair

"You finished that quickly?" Reo asks for the first time, he had a number 8 on his arm while Chigiri a number had the number 20

"Yeah, i thought about teaming up with that Itoshi guy, but he's an asshole"

"How come?"

"He said that it didn't matter who he teamed up with, everyone was just a stepping stone for him. Like hell I'll team up with him"

"Yeah, you would say something like that" Chigiri adds

"So, we have 24 hours to choose a team right? Let's train for today and choose someone after"

"Sure"

You three go to the training fields to start practicing, Reo was able to understand pretty fast what our our abilities allowed us to do, so your abilities quickly matched up, allowing you to have a very productive practice.

It was already late when you finished, all of you sweating profusely

"That was some training" says Chigiri drinking

"Yeah, that was exhausting. I'm going to the lockers" you say standing up

"I'm assuming you're not joining me in the showers? Chigiri asks, standing up too

"Not yet"

"What do you mean? You don't shower with the rest?" Reo asks

"Nah, he has a weird complex and doesn't like being with others. Don't really get it, but I won't force it" Chigiri answers for you "what about you, Reo? Joining me?"

"Go ahead, I'll join soon" Reo says, making you and Chigiri start going to the door

"Hey Chigiri, is your leg okay?" You ask him

"Better than ever! What? Worrying about me?" He teases you, passing his arm through your shoulder

"Well, I don't want to hear you whining like a baby if you get injured again? Ouch" you exclaim after Chigiri hitted your head chuckling. You can feel Reo's eyes on both of you.

Chigiri went to the bathroom to have a shower, Reo joined after, while you laid on the seat of the lockers, waiting for everyone to come out and also allowing you breathe freely as you untie your binder. A few minutes pass when you hear the door open quickly; looking up you see Anri in the locker, looking everywhere before her eyes land on you

“Yn-chan” she said with relief “Thank god you're alone here. I need you to come with me quickly”

“Sure, let’s go” you follow Anri towards Ego’s apartment, where he is waiting for you while sitting in his chair rewatching the match of Isagi, Bachira and Nagi.

“Yn-chan” he calls you, turning around “I’ll make it quick. As you know this second selection is an elimination selection too, if you don’t get chosen, you leave. You should try to get eliminated now”

“What?”

“You know that you shouldn’t stay in this project for so long, getting eliminated in this stage would be the least suspicious”

“I’m not losing on purpose” you say, seeing his eyes widen at the sudden opposition “If I can win, I will, losing on purpose is cheap and you should know that; this is not just for me, but because of my teammates too. What if I lose and end up getting chosen?”

“Do I have to remind you that you are getting paid to do this? This is your job, you should do what i tell you” Ego reminds you

"I'm.not.losing" you say annoyed "I'm leaving now, you want to eliminate me? Do it, let's see how everyone reacts" You don't wait for his answer, turning around and leaving, not before you notice a proud little smile from Anri.

You go back to the lockers, Chigiri and Reo were already there with towels on their hips.

"Oi, Yn" Chigiri calls you once you enter "Where were you?"

"I went to drink something. What happened?"

"We may have decided on our opponents, right Reo?" Chigiri looks at Reo, who smiles kinda nervously

"Well…while bathing I encountered Nagi, and I may have told them that we will play them…"

"Alongside with how he only team up with us only to beat Nagi" Chigiri adds "Also, Barou was with them"

"Barou? That means that they already lost once, lost Bachira, and won another match to gain Barou? How the hell did they do all that in such a short time?"

"Who knows, but long story short, we kinda agree to have a match with them without you…sorry" Chigiri looks guilty

"It's alright, we came here to have a match with them anyway, so we just have to win"

"Ha! Well said!" Chigiri ruffles your hair again "the bathroom should be empty by now, you should go and take a shower"

"Sure" you say, taking your things "also..Reo?"

"Huh?" He asks lifting his head, making you hit the back of his head

"Don't you dare to see me just as your tool, you elite idiot" Reo looks at you surprised, making Chigiri chuckle

You went to shower, which luckily was completely empty, and then went to the bedroom, a simple bunk bed and a single bed were the only things in there. You saw some clothes on the single bed one, but considering how things had happened, you just decided to take it over.

"You're back" Chigiri comes in with a tray of food "here, i assumed you hadn't eaten yet"

"Thanks" you take the food, a rare fried chicken, as you sit with your back on the wall

"By the way, Reo claim this bed" Chigiri sits beside you

"Like i care, y'all didn't ask me anything about the match, so i won't ask about the bed either"

"Petty" he laughs

"Oi, that's my bed, move" Reo days, entering the room

"No"

"No?"

"No" you say, making him raise his eyebrow "I'm not Nagi, i won't do everything you tell me to do.. Oh wait, Nagi doesn't do that anymore" you smirk, teasing the rich boy

"You're annoying"

"I bet you're used to people kissing your feet, hey, now you'll experience what a bunk bed is like. Chigiri, do you want top or bottom?"

"Bottom is easier"

"Then it's decided, you sleeping in the top one Reo" you smile at him, he only rolling his eyes "here things won't work always your way"

"I noticed" he scoffs, sitting in your bed too "i hate to admit it, but this is the first time someone treated me like this"

"Get used to it, he's very straightforward" Chigiri chuckles as you keep eating, by now the pronoun 'he' didn't throw you off anymore "but he means well, he always tells you what no one wants to say to you"

The next morning you are getting ready for the match, Reo practically ignoring both of you. You're sitting in the lockers right before the match starts, preparing a strategy.

"Alright" you start "Reo will be the anchor that balances us out, Chigiri and I will try to use our skills and keep attacking from wherever we can"

"Sure, we've trained for this anyway" answers Chigiri "i don't know their plans, but in terms of powerful defense we're probably even"

"We just need to establish who marks who, but…"

"I'll take on Isagi Yoichi, I'll seal his movements and prove to him that he made the wrong decision…ouch!"

"You're being creepy" you say after hitting his head "Neither of us are a great physical match to Barou, but I'm sure i can give him a better fight when it comes to skill"

"I can mark Nagi then" adds Chigiri "also, if we win, who do we take?"

"Both Isagi and Barou are good options, but i want Nagi" you say

"I agree, he had great potential, you alright with that, Reo?" Asks Chigiri

"Well, i was thinking after defeating him that i would make him feel the same pain i did back then"

"I'm kicking your ass, you're just some annoying bast…Oi, Chigiri! Let me go!" You say, Chigiri was grabbing the back of your t shirt, preventing you from getting close to Reo

"We have a match" he hits your head slightly "anyways, let's decide when the match is over, we will choose by majority vote. Let's go now"

You and Chigiri stay behind as you walk towards the field, the purple hair in front of you ignoring you both

"Oi" you call Chigiri "no matter how much i tease Reo, i kinda get him, i guess i would be in a similar mood if you hadn't team up with me…so thanks"

"Don't get too sentimental now" he ruffles your hair "you waited for me, you know? That means I'm pretty amazing"

"You wish, you're lucky that i decided to wait for you"

"I know"

"Let's win this" you say to Chigiri, extending your arm so Chigiri can cross it, which he did

"We got this"

You got into the field, the match starting with them kicking off. The ball goes to Barou, so you immediately go to him; even though you're definitely not nearly as strong as he is, you distract him enough so Reo can come in and snatch the ball, passing it to Chigiri and scoring the first goal. The white team kicks off again, Isagi sending the ball to Barou one more time; you didn't fully understand what was happening, but you were able to intercept him and take the ball rather easily from him, leaving alone as you go to score the second goal for your team.

By the third restart the aura of Isagi and Nagi had changed, Isagi sending a fast pass to Nagi, who does a reverse bound trap to stop Chigiri and makes a goal for his team

"Damn, even Nagi can get better…Also, snap out of it" you say, slapping Reo's head

Now it's your turn to restart the game, sending it to Reo who immediately goes towards Isagi, clearly trying to prove something, he does a quick pass to Chigiri, who is forced by Nagi to pass back to where Reo and Isagi are. With a burst of speed, you intercepted the pass mid-flight, plucking the ball from the air with grace. Your control was immaculate, and without missing a beat, you surged forward, leaving everyone stunned as you started running. You approached the penalty area, making the hologram goalkeeper rush slightly out to close the angle, which led you to do a deft touch, calmly chipping the ball over the goalie. Time seemed to slow as the ball floated elegantly over the line, nestling in the back of the net.

"Oi, we're a team" Reo calls you as both him and Chigiri approach, a small smile contradicting his annoyed voice

"He sometimes gets too in the zone. Well done"

"Shut up" you say, high fiving both of them. You had a chance of winning now.

The white team restarted once again, this time however, Isagi didn't seem to want to pass to Nagi, instead he was going towards Barou. You quickly go to his side, blocking any possible pass towards the self called King; however, you sensed it first, right behind Barou. Isagi was using him as bait. You reacted a bit late to the sudden pass from Nagi to Isagi, or maybe you reacted just in time, but since you were much shorter than the average here, you weren't able to intercept it, only being a few centimeters away from stopping it before Isagi scores another goal. You breathe hard as you sit on the floor.

"That was close, you reacted faster than i did" Reo says to you, offering his hand to help you stand

"Next time I'll stop it" you take his hand,

You restart the match once again, Reo sending it to Chigiri who almost immediately sends it to you; however, you see Barou in front of you trying to take the ball. It's a battle of physique, and clearly you wouldn't be able to win in that aspect, so you pretended to fight against him so he could hit the ball before you quickly ran past him to take it. Barou doesn't yield, so he still runs to take the ball forcibly, Reo arriving just on time to do a double press -which you held onto with all your might so it would be effective- before he kicks the ball away. Reo, however, shoots it just where Isagi is waiting for, who is able to pass Chigiri as he does a pass to Nagi, who scores a goal.

The restart happens again, Reo sending it to Chigiri, instead of a trap to run, which was one of the weaknesses of the red hair, he kicks it forward without stopping, bouncing it in the same direction he was heading. He is able to pass Barou just in the nick of time, but the ball goes slightly higher than he planned, hitting the upper pole of the goal. In that rebound the ball goes higher, close to where you are, but also close to Isagi and with Nagi coming your way too. Suddenly a replay of one of your plays appeared, and since Ego wanted a goal that could be replicated, you were going to give him that.

Time slowed as the ball hung in the air, so you launch yourself into a scissor kick, your body twisting and contorting mid-air as your foot met the ball with an astounding force. The ball exploded off your foot, a blur of white passing the arms of the hologram.

Both Nagi and Isagi were talking before restarting the game, probably thinking of a strategy since they'd lose if you make another point, when Barou intercepts them, taking the ball and immediately shooting it towards the goal. The goalie luckily saves it, so you go to the ball and take it to do a counter attack; you try to pass it to Reo, but almost immediately you feel Nagi's body in your back, blocking your way.

"Try it, chibi-Yn-kun" he says, you can almost feel a smirk in his voice

"Don't call me chibi"

You see Reo getting closer, so you pass it towards him when Isagi tries to intercept it, Reo sliding just in time to kick the ball away. You aren't able to go for it since Nagi was still in your back, leaving Barou almost able to shoot alone if it wasn't because of Chigiri following him.

In that moment something changed in Isagi's aura, and apparently Barou could sense it too considering that it was the first time ever you've seen him pass the ball, letting Isagi shoot instead and making it a draw again.

You feel a hand on your hand lazily touching your head, Nagi looking at you with a tiny enthusiasm in his eyes

"You're really good for being so small" he says, leaving to go and give a high-five to Isagi. You didn't know if you started to feel hot because of anger or because of his actions

"One more goal, whoever makes the next one wins" you say reuniting with Chigiri and Reo

"We can't let Isagi have the ball" says Reo

"I don’t feel like i can stop him" adds Chigiri "But the last play is starting with our ball"

"That’s exactly why we need to score while absolutely not letting them steal the ball!! Think of losing the ball as losing the match!" Reo says

"They're probably expecting for me to go again, should we use Chigiri this time?" I ask

"That would be the best, yeah" answers Reo

"Let's win this!"

After a few seconds of Reo analyzing the play, he's able to send it to Chigiri, however Nagi instead of following the red head, he goes straight to the ball and intercepts it, knowing fully well that he couldn't win a speed battle against Chigiri. The ball falls directly into Barou's feet.

You can see that he was about to pass it to either Isagi or Nagi, but something in you couldn't let him do that. Maybe it was because you still see this as part of your job somewhere inside you, maybe it was because you didn't want to see the King just fall behind

"Don't win like this!" You are still trying to stop him from keeping going "aren't you the king?!"

Something in his eyes changed, he suddenly started doing chop faints with an incredible angle. An awakening that left everyone behind in mere seconds, shooting a curved ball and making the last goal.

You see the other three celebrate their win as you fall into the ground, breathing hard as you process what had happened. Why did you encourage him? Maybe you could have won if you hadn't, but it would have been wrong…

"Well done guys, we couldn't have predicted Barou's move" you say to the other two, trying to make the feel better after seeing their faces

You could hear them talking, but you weren't making up the words from so far away, you were only able to hear the last part of the sentence

"The only one who could mix into this chemical reaction without disappearing could only be you…Yn" you lay there, a few seconds pass before you could process what he said exactly

"Eh?!" You sit up immediately once you realize "me?"

"Come with us" Isagi simply says. Your eyes widen, but you stand up anyways, feeling a deep guilt inside you…you thought Chigiri would be chosen, what if now they lose again and one of them has to leave?

"Chigiri, I'll be waiting for you, don't you dare to leave me alone" you extend your arm

"I'll make sure to catch up" he says, a sad smile on as he extends his arm too; he then ruffles your hair playfully "well played today, you killed it"

"You too"

You notice that Reo was sitting down now, his head looking down after Nagi had come to say something to him

"Oi" you kick his back lightly with your knee as you pass him, a low grunt coming out of him when he raises his head "prove me wrong Elite, prove me that you don't depend on anyone. After all, sheltered kids like you always get what they want, don't they?" You say with a smirk, trying to rizz him up so he doesn't fall down

"You bet i will"

You start walking towards the winner gate, towards the next stage.

AU where Talia decided to raise Damian in Metropolis and Jason decided to ignore Batman and go with her

Damian is still trained, but not as intensely (Talia allowed it because she knows very well how many enemies Ra's and Batman have, she wants her son to be ready to defend himself if necessary, but always vigilant so that Damian's training is not exhausting and terrible)

Then when Damian has 8 (or 10), she just looks for her father and says "bye"

Ra's is a good grandfather who loves his grandchildren (Damian and Mara), he is just a weird magic man for them (he is still the demon but not for his people and family)

So the trio move to Metropolis, Talia to get the job with Lex and Bruce almost had a heart attack because JESUS CHRIST IS THAT JASON TODD?! AND WHO IS THAT TINNY SMOL BOY NEXT TO HIM?!

Jason still hates Batman and tries to kill Tim (they'll get along later but not now)

Jason talks shit about Batman all time and Damian believes in him because old brother Jason knows things, and then Damian also dislikes his father

Jason became a crime lord in Gotham to piss Bruce off and annoying Dick and Tim, Talia just asked Jason don't put Damian in this crime thing, Jason and Talia tried to keep Damian a part of this mess crime and hero thing

Damian, like all other children in his age, is curious and impulsive. Then he stole a ninja costume and went to Gotham because he is curious about his father and the others brothers

And then he met Dick

Dick is just tired of Jason messing around but he recognizes a curious kid when he sees one (and he is also curious about Damian - no one knows Damian is Bruce blood son yet)

Dick and Damian become weird friends eventually (as canon their relationship is slowly but strong in the end)

When Jason finds out about Damian's new friend, he tries to hunt Dick down

Too late

Damian now has a cow and Dick has Damian's DNA

All the Batfam goes crazy because THIS BOY IS YOUR SON!!

just thinking about 'Damian, I need to tell you something, you're the son of the Batman' - Dick

'yeah, I know' Damian knew it all along because Talia told him and Jason about Damian's father

Steph and Cass are also curious about this little boy and kidnapped him to a playdate (and also annoying Jason and Bruce)

Damian dislikes Tim Drake because Jason told him to do so and he will listen to his older brother (they'll eventually get along)

Bruce tries to get close to Damian a few times and Jason always stops him. Whenever the two meet it is a terrible fight, both emotional and physical (Jason just gatekeeping Damian rn)

Talia could help Bruce, but she decides whatever Jason is doing is funnier, then she allows Jason to bully his dad for a while

Maybe it's Jason's rude words, the guilt of not being seen with the same admiration for the boy anymore, making Bruce become "softer" and try to get involved in Jason and Damian's lives because he doesn't want to make mistakes like he did in the past

somehow this becomes a mess in the media, after all Talia and Bruce are rich (she is richer than him) and a child custody dispute is always crazy and the favorite dish for reporters

the plan about protecting Damian from media harassment just fell apart (thanks Bruce and his bad decisions)

Talia and Jason were almost planning to send Damian to spend time on an Al Ghul family island when the images began to disappear from the internet almost instantly

This happened because the batkids worked together because 'Jason is our brother and Damian is also our brother'

When Jason goes to confront Dick about this, Dick says it's all Tim's plan (he knows about the assassination attempts and he doesn't want the family fighting)

Tim and Jason get along after this

"but you say he is a bitch' - Damian about Tim

'yeah, but he is a friend now' - Jason

Somehow Dick lures Damian in the mansion to him met Alfred

so while the media is covering the whole spectacle of the custody fight over Damian, Damian, Talia and Jason are having tea with Alfred and ignoring Bruce

And Jason still is a crime lord

Eventually Bruce gets the right to see Damian (I want to bully this man a little after Gotham War)

Damian doesn't go to school, but he still meets Jon and Kathy at a farming event because he wants to show off Batcow

They becomes friends there (Clack and Lois have no idea that this Damian who Jon is talking about is Damian Wayne, but they're super happy because Jon is making more friends)

Damian invites Jon to his birthday party, something that makes all of Kent very happy

Damian's birthday becomes incredibly awkward once Clack encounters Bruce and the Batkids, Talia Al Ghul, Jason Fucking Todd, Ra's Al Ghul, and some other assassins and children of assassins that Talia and Damian trust

Also Maya and Mara are also there

Mara because she and Damian were rising together in the league (they have a brother and sister relationship but they don't know it yet)

and Maya proclaimed herself Damian big sister since her father trained him

Remember the Wingman Wayne AU? I decided to write a sequel :D (it can be read separately tho, so this is a new part 1 of 8!) | also on ao3 now

'Robbie!'

Steve startles her by loudly drumming his hands onto the counter and she turns around to look at him.

'Why are you here? Did you forget it's your day off today?' She slams a pile of tapes on the counter, right next to his hand, making him jerk it away reflexively.

'Watch out for my hands!'

'Then stop being so annoying!'

He sighs dramatically, but ceases his incessant drumming and instead leans his elbows on the counter.

'Would you like to go on a date with the most perfect girl in the world?' he asks, sounding like he's presenting some kind of game show and about to reveal which prize she has won.

Robin wrinkles her nose. 'Why do you sound like you're scamming me?'

'I'm not scamming you!' he exclaims in an indignant tone. 'I literally have the perfect girl to set you up with, trust me!'

'And what's the catch?'

'No catch.'

'Are you absolutely one hundred percent sure about that?'

'Yes!' he calls out in an exasperated voice.

She squints her eyes at him, but decides to give him the benefit of the doubt – for now, at least.

'Alright, I'm interested. What's her name?'

'Uhh... I – can't tell you. It's a blind date.'

She squints even harder, making Steve's face almost disappear from her vision.

'You don't know her name, do you?'

'Uhh...'

'Steve.' She sighs. 'What did you do? Did you get scammed?'

'No!' He raises his hands. 'No scam, alright? I just – I forgot to ask her name.'

'Okay, so in what uncivilized gutter did you pick up this presumably perfect lesbian who doesn't even properly introduce herself to the guy who wants to set her up with what may possibly be the love of her life?'

'I haven't actually met her,' Steve admits. 'No, no, listen!' he quickly adds when Robin opens her mouth. 'Remember Eddie's uncle, Wayne? The one who set me up with the love of my life?'

Robin nods. 'Impossible to forget, you talk about him constantly when you're not talking about Eddie. It's weird and mildly creepy.'

That is actually an annoyingly strong argument – well, not the happily-ever-after shit, that's way over the top, but Robin does have nothing to lose here; even though she doesn’t know Eddie's uncle, she trusts the man enough to believe that he wouldn't set her up with some creepy psychopath. So she might as well go for it and see what happens. She has to admit she's curious about the girl. It's not like she has a huge range of queer women to choose from around Hawkins, so it would be rather stupid to waste this chance without even trying, right? It's been a while since she actually dated. She broke up with Vickie months ago and her lack of dates has less to do with not being ready to move on and more with the fact that she's a lesbian living in goddamn Hawkins, Indiana.

'Alright, I'm in,' she decides, causing Steve to cheer and pump his fist in the air like some gross straight dudebro.

'YES!' he yells out. 'Alright, I'll call Wayne to let him know that you're in. And you should be ready for a romantic dinner at Benny's tomorrow at 7 o'clock. I'll take your evening shift, no need to thank me.'

'A romantic dinner at Benny's?' Robin repeats in an incredulous voice. 'Are you sure I wanna meet this girl if that's peak romance for her?'

Steve excited smile drops so fast it's almost comical. 'It was Wayne's idea, okay,' he says, and it sounds slightly more defensive than necessary. 'The man lives in a trailer park, cut him some slack.'

And something about that is oddly cute – both the fact that Steve is so ready to defend Mr. Munson and the idea of this middle-aged straight man picking out Benny's Burgers as a go-to lesbian date location.

'Okay, I won't complain,' she's quick to tell Steve. 'The burgers there are impeccable.'

'That's the spirit!' Steve's slightly too intense excitement is back on again. 'Tomorrow, 7. Be there or be prepared to stay alone forever.'

'That's a bit much,' she mumbles as Steve walks out of the store, turning around at the door to shoot finger guns at her while crashing into that one Fast Times cardboard cutout that's somehow always in his way. She snickers while turning her attention back to the tapes she had been sorting, trying not to think too hard about what’ll be waiting for her tomorrow evening.

Hello :), this is my first John fic, ngl I'm nervous bc its my first time writing for him. Anyway, if you have any ideas or request you can send them to me I will gladly do them :). My master list is pinned in my blog if you want to check it out. Fluff, smut, tw none, 2.8k words.

To say this season for John has been amazing is an understatement. He was selected for the England world cup squad, he is now challenging for the title again, UCL semis again, the FA cup final and having played in different positions and out of his comfort zone so well. You were very excited for him and so proud of all the hard work he has done, seeing it payoff is amazing.

You and John started dating during Covid year. It was a very weird way to start a relationship, to quarantine with someone you had met for just 2 months. In a way, it was the best thing that could’ve happened to both of you. You had someone to spend a lot of time with, at times where it could become quite boring. You got to know him more than anyone and discover that actually, you two were perfect for each other. When you two first started dating, he was struggling to get into the team. It sucked seeing him sad and upset but seeing the progress he has made from that time to now; it just amazes you.

You were currently cuddled up to him, his arms around your waist and his chest pressed to your back. It was early in the morning and you knew his alarm would be annoying you at any second. Today was a big day, they were playing against Arsenal at home. John had told you he was not nervous but excited for this game. You on the other hand, you were very nervous because you know how south a game can go.

You don’t know why, but you woke up with a very different feeling this morning than the feeling you had last night about the game. You felt in your gut they would win, and John having scored already and played amazingly you had a feeling he could score again. You didn’t want to jinx it, but you also wanted to let him know how sure you were and how confident you felt in him.

You got up from bed carefully to not wake your sleeping boyfriend so he could enjoy 5 more minutes of sleep. You went straight to the kitchen to make yourself and John a cup of tea. You noticed the time, it was 8:55 am. You noticed how many tea bags were left, 5. You noticed you had unread messaged from last night, 5. You remembered a scene from the movie you binged with John last night, Focus. How they made someone choose the exact player they wanted him to choose to win a bet by making the man see the number 5 the whole day and subconsciously pick 55. All of these 5’s was giving you even more of a better feeling. You were always a big believer in intuition and going with your gut.

You were thinking about all of this while making tea and jumped a little when you felt two strong arms wrap around your waist. “Morning my love” John said kissing your cheek. “Hi baby”, you stopped doing what you were doing, turned around and hugged him. Once you pulled away, John went outside so your dog could go potty and to take the trash out.

John came back in and sat in the stool from the kitchen bar looking at his phone. You finished up the tea and placed his mug in front of him. “Are you excited about today?” you asked taking a sip from your tea. He placed his phone on the table and looked back at you, “Yea, I feel like it’s going to be a good game honestly”. “I have a good feeling too” “How? You said you were nervous last night” he says laughing. You laughed as well, you were scared but all these signs gave you a good feeling. Before John could take the first sip of his tea, you wanted to tell him it was different today. “I made a different tea today and… a sip of it means your scoring today so” you said playfully and proudly. “Is that so? You are making like a magic tea for me then?” he asked smiling. “Yea, I woke up with a good feeling today” “alright then” he takes a sip from his mug and smiles. He takes another one and soon enough he finishes his tea. “I guess I’m scoring a goal today then” he says smirking and you laugh. “If you do actually score, I want a bit of credit” you say as he comes closer to you. He grabs your face gently and kisses you. “You will get more than that”, you smirk when he says this knowing exactly what he means.

John went back to his room to shower and leave to the training center before the game. Meanwhile you started doing work stuff to be free in the evening since you were attending the game. “Okay my love I’m off” John appears in your little office like space to kiss you goodbye. “Bye baby”, you both hug each other tightly like you do before every single game. He kisses you lovingly, “good luck yea? I know you are going to be so great today” you said smiling against his lips. He kisses you one more time before he has to leave.

As excited as you were, you always had that thought in the back of your head of “what if they actually lose?” but you distracted yourself with work stuff, house chores and organizing your stuff around the house.

It was near 6 pm and you started getting ready to go to the stadium. His family would all be there today, as well as some of the other teammates girlfriends which you have gotten very close with. Once you were satisfied with your makeup and outfit, you headed to your car. The whole ride to the stadium was filled with John’s playlist and it kind of made your nervousness go away, at least for a little bit.

You were the first one in the box and you could see the staff arranging a banner they would display and the players warming up on the pitch. Before every game you would text John a quick message consisting of I love you and Good luck. This time, it included something else. “Already at the stadium! I love you and good luck! Score that goal for me please ;)”.

Everyone else arrived to the box, you greeted his mom, dad, sister and Sasha who was in the box next to you. “I need them to win otherwise Jack gets so moody and it’s annoying” you laughed at Sashas’s joke. You were in between John’s sister and Sasha watching the game. The atmosphere was amazing, the stadium was bouncing. Everyone knew how important this game would be in order to win the title this season.

The ref blew the whistle and not even 10 minutes in, Kevin scored the opener causing the whole stadium to roar. The game was looking good. You were holding either Sasha’s hand or fidgeting with your bracelets from the anxiety you had. Just before half time, they gained a free kick. You knew John loves his header goals, so you were excited to see if it would be a goal from him. Kevin made a really good pass and John was able to put it in the net. You all stood up once the ball went in, screamed but not even for a second. The goal was ruled as offside. “For fuck’s sake man” you said sitting down and covering your face. “They need to probably check it, damn that looked like a great goal” John’s sister told you. “Yea they are checking look” Sasha says pointing to the screen. “I really need him to score otherwise I will look like an idiot and disappoint him” you said while biting down on your nails, “what? What do you mean?” Sasha asked chuckling. “Oh god, I woke up today with a good feeling he would score and I told him, I was very confident and now if he doesn’t I will feel dumb” you said almost laughing know realizing it was just dumb coincidence all the signs you saw. “Oh my god look!” Sasha says pointing to the screen. The green line. It was a goal. You fucking called. “Yes!! I called it! Oh my god!”. Once the referee gave the goal, the whole stadium and all the players started celebrating and singing John’s song. You were so happy for him, and you saw he blew you kiss from the pitch after celebrating.

The whole second half, city were playing amazingly with Kevin scoring another goal and Erling in the last minutes scoring one as well. You were so happy for the team, but you were even happier for John. You knew how much it meant to him the fans singing his name and making them proud.

While you waited for John in the player’s lounge, you caught up with his family and some of the other wives and girlfriends. You still felt a lot of adrenaline form the game but the only thing you wanted to do right now was to hug and kiss John and say, “I told you so”.

You saw your tall boyfriend enter the room and greet his parents first. They hugged him and congratulated him on the win and the goal. Once he saw you, he couldn’t help but just laugh to himself knowing exactly what you were about to say. You said your goodbyes to everyone and arrived safe at home.

You made something quick to eat before John arrived so you could both just go to bed peacefully. Once you were done eating and cleaning up in the kitchen, you went upstairs to your bedroom and started getting ready for bed. You changed into your little shorts and a just a training bra. You pulled out your face wash, moisturizer, eye cream and oils to do your skin care. While you were washing your face, you heard the front door open meaning John was already home. “Babe?” John called out for you, “In the bathroom” you yelled out.

i have an extremely half baked idea of tim joining in early that will truly never be fully baked because of how much it would change dynamics and i don't want to think too deeply about the seriousness of that since this is very lighthearted. anyways, it goes somewhat like this

so in my head this works best if tim is <9 and hasn't figured out the dick-robin thing yet (because if he had he'd probably just tell them first thing "hey btw i know you're batman and robin" the minute he enters the door). so we have to orphan him much, much earlier and we kill off jack and janet in an accident. maybe a tunnel collapses on them or something (sorry tim, but to me the only way you join the family is by orphaning, if they're alive you're with them in my books) and through shenanigans that we're not even going to think of at all, because does it really matter, bruce gets custody of 7-8 year old tim. dick is probably about 16-17? and still robin (i age gap them based on vibes, okay) and he's been fighting with bruce more and more.

anyways we have tim who is separately a big fan of dick grayson & batman and robin. which. is stressful for dick and bruce, because this kid is sitting at their kitchen table clipping out newspaper articles with alfred and watching the nightly news for a glimpse of them. alfred probably thinks this is hilarious. dick probably thinks this kid is annoying.

so bruce, wondering how tf he's going to keep the secret from this kid, has a lightbulb idea. he's going to send tim to boarding school to get him out of the house (it's what tim's parents would have wanted. bruce has to, uh, respect that).

Real person message!! When making your sculptures (or other things too really!) do you ever get bored of making the same kind of guy many times? And if yes, do you have a way to spice up the process, or do you prefer to just move on to something new? (I love your work a ton! Both when the types are very different but also when they are like siblings :D)

Oh man YES I do get tired of Particular Guys! Sometimes because the whole process is so labour-intensive (hello, Woodsbeasts & big Bird Ladies), sometimes just because I run out of creative steam on 'em (most recently, sphinxes), Thankfully (because the timelines of pottery are so so so long) just not making them for a batch or two will give me a minimum 6 month break & by the time I think of going back they feel fresh & exciting again.

I also have the benefit of pottery being the more flexible part of my job (I'm also an illustrator/graphic designer) - when it started to become a viable part of my practice, I promised myself that, with the exception of commissions/prepping for particular sales, most of my batches would be of whatever I felt like making at the time. As opposed to my other work, which takes the shape of particular projects (a book, a report for a client, etc), I can just tootle away at my pottery desk, sculpting weird beasts that make me happy. This has worked well for me & I plan to stick with it as an approach for the time being.

Mugs/vessels are a bit different, as the actual making of the forms almost becomes muscle memory (especially the slab-built mugs), so it feels less creatively draining. I can, however, burn out on particular types of vessel decoration, eg. the EIGHT (8?!?) medieval-marginalia inspired pieces that are in the glaze kiln as I type. They took SO LONG and by the last couple of mugs I was full-on cursing my choices (tho if they turn out well I know I'll forget all about the pain & go oooohhhh let's make more. This is how my terrible brain works).

So yeah! Burnout happens, but I don't let it worry me because I know my weird little guys can wait until I'm ready to make 'em again :)

I am so happy that I finally found someone I can talk to about my resident evil 8 Au! It has been stuck in my mind forever and I have been dying to find someone to talk to about it! I have a couple more ideas that go along with it!

First Miranda 100% experimented on the family because she wanted to see that interaction between the magic and the black mold. I think that she would force Mirabel to do it just as a sick sort of test and to see if she actually would. Maribel was so afraid of what would happen to them if she didn't that she went ahead and did it even though she hated herself for a long time afterwards for doing it.

Mirabel doesn't have her glasses anymore because the mutations fixed her eyes and Miranda refuses to allow her to wear a fake pair because in her words "You are my perfect creation You will not sully yourself with fake imperfections." She like Isabela has to play a perfect act but unlike Isabela if she falters or doesn't do what Miranda wants she will be severely punished which doesn't happen very often, her punishments are considered severe even for The lords because in Miranda's eyes she supposed to be her perfect creation and she's not allowed to falter from it so anyone that Mirabel does save she does so in extreme secrecy oftentimes faking their deaths so that Miranda doesn't know The few times that she was caught were extremely bad, to the point where a couple of the Lords had to step in to get Miranda to stop before she actually killed her.

Anyone that she is forced to experiment on that dies is buried in a graveyard near her house she gives them a proper burial and tombstones and personally takes care of each one to try and make amends.

I also agree that her silk can be used for armor it is extremely sturdy and it's basically indestructible she also can use it to cocoon people but she doesn't because when she cocoons people it liquefies anyone inside, which she learned the hard way when she was trying to stop someone from dying when she was little. She also not only can control moths but they are like small little aspects of herself kind of like the Ravens are for Miranda.

Her relationship with Monroe is kind of weird because he to me is very childlike especially when it comes to the other lords (calling Mother Miranda just mother and referring to the other Lords as his brother and sisters) he tries to manipulate her but in a way that would make Miranda view him in a better light kind of like a middle brother annoying their youngest sister because their mom's favorite. Alcina 100% was extremely excited by the idea of actually raising a daughter who she could watch grow/age/ develop, The daughters were actually really excited at the idea of having a baby sister that they could watch and protect and play with and were heartbroken when Mirabel had to go especially Daniela(she was so excited not to be the youngest anymore and to have a baby sister). So when Miranda gives Mirabel back her family not only is alcina extremely jealous/envious but so are the daughters because "if Miranda was just going to give her a family why couldn't she have been in their family?" The girls don't understand that it's her biological family.

I don't think that Miranda would have the creepy Casita collapse when she punished them (That would just be a lot more work for her because then she would have to figure out where Maribel and the family could stay in the meantime) I think she got mad at Mirabel for not paying attention to her work like she had been before because her family was there and went to "lightly correct her" and basically slapped her across the face in front of the entire family they went to protest/ protect her and that's where they all got punished.

Speaking of the family I realized I didn't go into how they were kidnapped or how they meet Mirabel again. When they were kidnapped Miranda basically just drugged All of them one by one (starting with Dolores) in the night and put them in a giant metal box with air slits that was completely soundproof she was thoughtful enough to put some food and water in there but that was it, The time it took to get from the encanto back to the village was like 2 weeks almost 3 Miranda refused to talk to them during that entire time so by the time they get there they are completely terrified and have no idea what's going on Miranda then drugs them again cleans them up ties them all up and kind of like Ethan has a meeting with all of the Lords she has the four Lords come first and basically tells them that the people in front of them are a surprise present for The fifth Lord "for all of her hard work and devotion" she doesn't say her name because she also wants it to be a surprise for the family as well just because she wants to see their reactions because she's sadistic like that. When Mirabel gets there they have bags over their heads as well as gagged so she doesn't know who they are at first, Miranda basically give her a speech about how she's perfect/is so devoted and loyal That Miranda decided to give her an award because unlike any of the other Lords she doesn't ask for things she tells Mirabel to close her eyes takes the bags off of all of their heads then tells her to open her eyes when she does she sees her entire family sitting there she is of course absolutely shocked and horrified but plays it off really well and acts extremely grateful and happy that this happened.

When the family first got to her house Maribel was kind of standoffish she didn't really know how to interact with her family and was afraid of accidentally hurting them/having them see her as a monster but couldn't help having an extremely obvious soft spot for Antonio she of course told them the danger that they were all in the first night they were there because she didn't want them to be caught off guard by anything else but it didn't really click until Miranda punished them just how dangerous everything is.

ANYWAYYYYYY MIRANDA. We have beef. I mean I’ve never liked her. But making Mirabel experiment on her own family??? You know I think this might be the one time where she breaks down and tries to defy Mother Miranda. I mean it’s bad enough she has to do it to innocent people, and be just can’t with her family. I mean she ends up doing it anyway, probably because Miranda threatened to kill them but still, she was so guilty 😭😭

Mirabel being close with Lady D and her daughters before hand (and I assume after) is sweet though. Probably the only somewhat positive thing going on for her before her family came. I mean Alcina was basically a second/foster mother to Mirabel. And the girls really loved her, and actually felt some sympathy for her whenever she got punished. Daniela feeling said and getting to feel like a big sister is so important to me what <\\\\33 and Mirabel’s powers‼️‼️ The moths being a small part of her reminds me of The Artist from DBD, that’s so cool 🤭 glad you agree on the armor part 👹👹

Also the perfect thing, I’m not surprised. Mirabel definitely has more pressure to follow Miranda’s orders, more than the other lords. Not even because she’s youngest, she is by far the most suitable of the them, and therefore, Miranda wants her to reflect that perfection. Mirabel being punished is so sad 😭 Miranda is not above getting psychological and physical either in the game. Which is INSANE 💀 and then her family got punished for defending her, which is wild 🦈

ALSO HER KIDNAPPING HER FAMILY ONE BY ONE WHAT DUH…Mirabel was probably so scared for her family, wondering what Miranda had done to them (though she technically hadn’t)t done anything serious— not yet anyway). She just acted it out and Miranda somehow fell for it. Heisenberg was probably rolling his eyes during Miranda’s speech because 1, he hates her, and 2, he’s tired of hearing Miranda drone on and on (again) about how Mirabel is the best among them lmao

Also Mirabel trying to warm them to basically always be on your toes and walk around on eggshells around Miranda. She probably felt so bad when they got punished because she felt like she did ‘t protect them or tell them enough to keep them safe and away from Miranda’s wrath 🧌

you think Miranda like??? Projects onto Mirabel. Like she dresses Mirabel how she would’ve dressed her daughter if she was still alive. And when Mirabel gets older she slowly lets Mirabel make her own clothes (with her silk) Idk 🕴️

Hellooo, it's the same anon who asked if your asks were open. Can I please request how Steps 1-4 Coves would pine over Reader? Like, how would they deal/cope with their massive crush on them? I'm...a very big simp for hopelessly in love boys

When Cove was 8, he didn't have a word for how he felt about you. Not a good one, anyway. He'd never had a best friend before, so maybe that was it. But even then, it felt like something more.

If it hadn't been for you, he would have been absolutely miserable that first summer in Sunset Bird, he knew that for sure. But you had been there, ready and willing to be his friend, and he was so happy and thankful for that.

To show how thankful was, he began paying extra attention to you, which was notable because he'd already paid an awful lot of attention in the first place. What kind of colors did you wear the most? What kind of stuff did you keep in your room? When you talked, what made you the happiest?

He made a mental note of all of that, and even as he grew up and learned more words to describe how he felt about you, he kept going. It got to the point that he could write a guidebook to you, and later, an encyclopedia. He never stopped being proud to be an expert.

-- Even when Cove is little, you are his person. He thought you were sent just for him to make him happy, and to little baby Cove that is Very Serious Business. He has a lot of big feelings that he can't really express, so he jut wants to be with you all the time and learn everything about you so he can be the best best friend.

-- But by Step 2, Cove realizes that this is a crush and boy does it throw him for a loop. He'd never had a crush on anyone before, and you just. Won't. Get. Out. Of. His. Head.

-- He's lying in bed at night, supposed to be asleep, thinking stuff like "Maybe I can tell them on Valentine's Day, but would they like that or think it was corny? Maybe I do it on their birthday, but no, they should have all the attention on their birthday. Maybe ..."

-- But this is just daydreaming because he is NOT going to tell you. If you have a crush on him too then he 100% doesn't realize it, and he's not going to make the friendship weird by telling you he likes you like that.

-- Lots of daydreaming though! Sometimes you're out together, like walking down to get pretzels and he's like "What if this was a date??!?!?!" He knows it's not but what if? Or sometimes he wonder about what it would be like if you did together and even got married, but he wouldn't like to let this thoughts get away from him like that because he doesn't want to be weird about it.

-- But sometimes he'll see the old couples on vacation in Sunset Bird and be like "what if that was us one day?" and just ugh, his heart.

-- Cliff tries to talk to him about it but he covers his ears and runs from the room screaming.

-- He talks to his parents about you all the time though (that's cannon obviously lol) but he doesn't talk about how he likes you, he just talks about you, the kind of stuff you like, how cool you are, what you do together. But they better not tell him that he has a crush because he will not appreciate that one bit.

-- Step 3 Cove is like "Oh yeah, I'm in love with them." He's more comfortable taking you to things like the charity event, things that might be seen by others as a date. He still wants to be near you all the time and he still daydreams, but now his daydreams are more about little realistic stuff that you'd do together if you were dating.

-- He's also more comfortable with physical touch/affection. So please please please ask him for the piggyback rides. He would give you a piggyback ride to the ends of the earth. Do you do that thing where you sit on his chest all the time? He pretends to be annoyed about it but he likes having you so close to him!

-- He's picking his apartment out with you in mind, because he'll want you over as much as possible but also so that if a miracle happens and you move in you'll be happy.

-- When he doesn't want to hear it from his parents, he talks about you to the fish that you named, just so he can get it out.

-- He keeps everything you ever give him ever. And he still remembers everything about you, including all the memories you've made together.

-- A lot of this is at least heavily implied in the game, but he's always only had eyes for you. You're it for him.

-- Also in the game, Step 3 is when he finally makes the move to tell you if you haven't told him already, so let's assume that you shut it down because of high emotions during the dinner scene so we can keep it going lol

-- Following that route, I feel like Step 4 Cove would be like "I still love them, but they don't feel the same way, so being best friends is enough." So he's not going to make any moves, but he gets more and more comfortable in his own skin the older he gets.

-- If you live with him, he's going to take care of you, like he's going to do a lot of things that a live-in boyfriend might do just without the title. Do you need a back rub after a hard day at work? Do you want him to play with your hair while you watch tv? He can do that! He's not even being weird about it by this point, he'd just do anything for you.

-- The neighbors are like "so how long have you been together?" and Cove has to be like "we're not," and nobody gets it because obviously you love each other, but ok whatever.

-- If you end up living far away from each other though, well that sucks. He's going to want to check in every day. If you don't wake up to a "Good morning!" text you're going to worry about him. He still sends letters, too.

-- He picks up little presents that remind him of you, usually nothing too big, just little trinkets. When he gets enough together, he'll send off a care package.

-- If anybody ever hits on him or asks him out, of course he'll say no, but it'll also make him extra sad that things never worked out like that with you.

-- At this point, he gets a little suspicious sometimes when you say or do certain things, like it kind of makes him wonder if you might actually feel the same way about him. And there he is, not able to go to sleep that night because he's daydreaming again.

-- Does he cuddle a pillow and pretend it's you sometimes? Yeah but he'd die before he told anyone about it.

7. Describe their arc. How would a player help resolve it? What choices can be made? Can your Tav be turned down a dark path, or pulled to a lighter one?

So I thought about this a lot, the Good Ending for Rosalie is she's Just A Person, the Bad Ending is that she volunteers to become the mindflayer at the Orpheus decision for ENTIRELY THE WRONG REASONS (feeling like a liability, believing it's the only way to cure her mental illness, seeing herself as the weak link in the group, being depressed, etc. - this ending bought to you by me staring at that decision screen for an hour KNOWING she'd turn herself into a mindflayer in a heartbeat but feeling physically ill over her logic behind that decision). This is the 'exalted mind' ending.

So there is a bad path for her, but it's one bought about by being self-sacrificing to the point of absolute idiocy and self destruction. I think that Tav literally swerves her away from it by teaching her to be a little selfish and to value herself lmao. Literally the opposite of most of the other companions, and kind of what I wish you could teach Wyll in his storyline tbh!

Her arc would be her just generally being over-emotional and reckless, with lots of camp chats about morality in Act 1 (I would probably double down on the tropes that fandoms hate in female characters a la Katara in Avatar the Last Airbender just for the lols). I want her ending Act 1 feeling like a trite 'heart of the group', ridiculous Mary Sue, she talks to you a lot about how you're feeling, are you ok? Borderline annoying tbh, but with the EA Halsin Effect of "oh, you're the companion who's nicest to me!!". Then in Act 1/2 depending on approval she does something utterly stupid, like run into a fight alone unprompted (death to a wizard), or possibly have Ethel specific dialogue that pisses Ethel off if she's in your party, and the player starts thinking "god this girl is a bit weird and reckless and stupid at times actually", and calling her out on it gets the illithid tadpole as anxiety med drop.

Act 3, you start meeting people from her past (bonus comedy route for if you just enabled all her behaviour at this point to be nice to her and get her approval bc then the illithid tadpole drop happens here). Larroakan is like "aren't you that mousy little scribe who completed those commissions for me?", you can find Threnn, possibly did an infernal translation for Gortash (not canon just for story tie-in)???? and they're all like "who the fuck are you? why are you so different now". There would be a confrontation about lying about who she is, a camp conversation about the pressure they face as the 'heroes of Baldur's Gate" and how she feels inadequate. And then in the conversation with Threnn, and the final Orpheus conversation, Tav can encourage Rose to have an actually healthy relationship with her emotions and not see her every choice as a failing actually. Then you unlock real Rose personality and a final decision where she doesn't try and throw herself on her sword.

8. After Act 3, what does their life look like? What are they talking about at the reunion party?

Good ending Rosalie has rebuilt her relationships with her family, she's back at the Watchful Order but getting all their backlog of heroic deeds retroactively converted into a wizard qualification, and unromanced she'll mention that she's either considering going on secondment to Avernus or helping Halsin in the Shadowlands/feywild as her practical project for the final part of her grade. She will have visited every single companion in the six months (Wyll/Karlach as a projection). She will mention going to tea weekly with Gale given that she's fast-tracking wizardry/he needs a friend group and practice at being a normie and they live in the same city. She will name drop being friends with Tara very smugly.

Bad ending Rosalie is a mindflayer and will talk about the magic she's capable of and the power she's unlocking, now she's no longer letting emotion cloud her judgement. You can ask her about her parents and if she's gotten back in touch and she says, "oh, right. I used to have those."
