anyway so im rewriting the specials to get yaz in there right and you kinda need her out of the way for wild blue yonder so im keeping her in the tardis to do the manual part of the repairs i guess but just the idea of yaz being There but Just out of sight but very much like,,,,Present, as an agent in the story, while this interaction happens:
which is then Immediately followed by the tardis with her inside Disappearing, just lends a whole lot of fuckin,,,,,,,depth of flavour that you really dont even need to do anything for

Busy. and they havent really had a moment alone to talk abt it#if theyre gonna talk abt it#and donna is pushing the doctor in their familiar dynamic and yaz is just sort of...........squished between that#trying to stand her ground while not even really knowing where or what that ground even IS#anyway so. tldr. Complicated#complicated dyanmic and complicated to balance so i dont sacrifice any of the doctor&donna stuff#which might happen a little anywaybc i have a clear yaz bias but im trying to mitigate it as much as i can

i used to be indifferent to books that had devil romance interests because like thats their whole thing theyre seducing people to get their souls and the mc overcomes it, but reading through the replies i see that Hellionfinity actually ends with the devil character as the main romantic lead which is super problematic in terms of power imbalance and the fact that he has a redemption arc is so out of touch especially since our military is finally recovering from the azgurian assault

“Georgie?” Fred called out smacking the back of George’s head in the process. “Are you going to sit there like a stupid git for the rest of your life staring at them, or are you actually going to do something about it?” George sort of fancied his best friend y/n. They were awkward. He was awkward. It was a mess.
“I dunno, I just, what If I ruin everything?” He replied defeated, an almost foreign response coming from the twins, who in their approach to everything, were annoyingly cocky.
“I don’t doubt that,” Fred replied unhelpful. It was in his nature to be a dickhead at all times.“But this is y/n we’re talking about! We’ll just ban them from the burrow or something if they say no.” There was a reason no one went to the twins for advice.
George looked to his brother, deadpan. Fred looked back, grinning.
“ Or,” he suddenly lit up, an idea brewing in his head. “what if we get our hands on some of that amortentia thing? Say we need their help and before you know it theyre all blah blah blah dreamy George smell and we’ll know!!!!” It was almost certainly a failing plan, but it was better than anything George had in mind and sadly he shared his brother’s brain cells. Or lack thereof.

“ OI y/n!” Fred called out. “ George and I are testing out a new product and we would be honoured if you and your royal nose gave it a try. It’s a real business investment!” His accent mocking that of a commercial salesman from the muggle tvs.
“Fred Weasley if you think I’d willingly stick my face anywhere near something you have made, you are a bigger idiot than you make yourself out to be,” they responded. Having been best friends with the twins for five years, they had long learnt their lesson on trust and why exactly not to place it in gingers. They gave one last unimpressed look and walked away.
Fred and George shared a look. Perhaps if they actually thought plans through they wouldn’t be in this position right now.
“ Well hey!” Fred said “ At least they spoke to you! That’s a step!”
“No you git, they spoke to you.”
“ Yes but you look like me so it’s all the same,” Fred replied, once again trying to lighten the mood. “ What if we get Hermione to try it? They won’t suspect anything if it comes from her.” Thus another plan equally as devastating was formed.
It only took a couple of hours of threats and promises no one intended to keep to get Hermione on board. She agreed based on the terms that the twins would leave her alone to revise after. Short time pain for long term gain some would say.
“Hey y,n!” Hermione smiled ever as friendly, walking over to where y/n was in the great hall. “Im sorry to bother you but we’ve been assigned this potion and I can’t seem to figure out the ingredients. I was thinking since you’re a fifth year you might know them?” Hermione was as good at lying as the twins were at making plans.
“ The twins didn’t set you up for this did they?” Y/n replied unconvinced.
“ No! Merlin no! I’m really stressed over this y/n and I really thought you could help me but if you can’t take me seriously I’ll ask elsewhere.” Maybe Hermione wasnt that bad after all.
“Oh no I’m sorry! Of course I’ll help. Alright I smell rain and-,” they paused after seeing a tuft of ginger hair appearing from under one of the tables from the corner of their eye, a pair of brown eyes following, most certainly that of Fred weasley. Hermione, the brightest witch of her age, seemed to have fallen victim to a Weasley scheme. Depressing. Y/n decided they weren’t going to let themself miss out on the fun.
“And?” Hermione near shouted, clearly trying to direct the attention back to herself but forgetting human social skills in the process.
“And-Oh! This last smell is kind of like husky?” They said uncertain. “I totally get why you couldn’t figure it out. I’m so sure I’ve smelt it before though.” Hermione quickly responded with a ‘mhm’, unsure where this was going and uninterested all the same.
“Oh I know! This smells like Snape’s hair! I can almost taste the grease,” they replied with the most genuine smile they could manage. They had nothing against Hermione, but this awkward, subtle form of revenge was far more entertaining than they had anticipated.
Hermione paused, clearly filled with regret and remorse for what she had inserted herself into. “You-.” She exhaled before starting again. ”You know what professor Snape’s hair smells like?” She replied cringing but slightly curious. Maybe she could buy the professor shampoo or something to get on his good side, after all Gryffindor needs all the house points they can get.
“Oh yeah I’ve taken a couple of sniffs before when he wasn’t looking,” y/n grinned. ”Do you think he noticed?” Now Hermione was just disturbed. She stared blankly at y/n before taking the potion from their grasp and walking away. This is what she gets for choosing to socialise instead of revising.

Waiting in the common room was George, an accomplished grin set on his face when Hermione walked in, which slowly faded when he saw her face. Not that that wasn’t his usual reaction when he saw the know-it-all.
“So?” He questioned fishing for a response. “How’d it go?”
Hermione stared blankly back at him.
“Unless you’re professor snape it seems they dont have any interest.”
George was really beginning to regret his existence.

imagine Warriors but they have fire
Here is where I dump or information on the idea but I had to make these realllyyy fast sketches before I lost the idea. Fire and the coal they keep is sacred to them becasue it mirrors the Sun. The coal is especially used in festivals during Winter and Spring but they are also used during special ceremonies.
How the coal is treated also acts as a characterizer of each Clan. Wind Clan is more communal so apprentices and warriors can carry/place the coal. It is kept in a tunnel in the center of the clearing wall. For this reason, they all have general knowledge on how to create and fix masks. Rabbits feet may be used to decorate them or dried flowers.
In contrast, River Clan is more private and prioritizes keeping the coal sacred. This resembles how they interact with Star Clan believing that each cat has a more personal relationship with Star Clan, fesivals are more quiet and focused on calming and centering oneself. The coal is stored in an unmarked area which is moved if any other clan finds it on accident or on purpose. Medicine cats exclusively can touch or place the coal. The mask is equally sacred and can only be properly mended by a medicine cat although leaders can fill in if necessary. The making of a mask is taught to medicine apprentices.
Thunder Clan keeps the coal in the leaders den becasue they believe much of Star Clan's power is funneled through the leader. Leaders are expected to move and place coal, however, medicine cats make the masks. The coal is kept in the leaders den in a nook in the rock. Thunder Clan is known to have loud crackling bon fires.
Shadow Clan is more communal in terms of coal handling as well, however, masks are extremely sacred and can only be made/mended by medic cats. A charred and hollowed tree near the entrance is where they keep the coal. Clan specific festivals are completely exclusive and secretive unlike Wind Clan which is known to invite friendly members of other clans if they feel inclined. Bon fires are not common but they often cremate bodies on a small island that is surrounded by bog. Cremation is also common in River Clan.
Star Clan must bless a mask before it is used, this contributes to how long lasting they often are (the oldest being from Shadow Clan going back 10 generations). The coal, although it mirrors the Sun, is contrasted by the blue light glow of the moon stone so the fire of coal represents life while the moonstone represents soul and spirit.
In many ways, the coal makes the Clans somewhat dependent on eachother because if coal somehow goes out there is an obligation for any Clan asked to share. If, for whatever reason, this does not happen there is a small eternal fire in a cavern said to be located far beneath the moonstone, however, no one has had to travel here for a couple generations. The knowledge of this cavern is held by medicine cats.

Who are Dream and George close friends with in town in the stardew au?
SO here's a loooooong list
Dream would be in good terms with most of the villagers as he grew up there but for more specifics he would be close with:
Willy - father figure, have been learning to fish w him since he was younger
Elliot - LOVE to talk about books and writing (they probably attend a town book club or something)
Emily - what there not to love about emily dream probably sees her as an older sister or a close friend (she liked to make clothes for dream to try on when they were younger)
Marnie - dream helps her with her animals he used to work part time there kinda like a mother figure lol
Litearlly all the women in the pilates group - Dream used to attend the pilates group regularly but ever since working w geroge on the farm he only attends sometimes. (for the older people of the town he's seen as a sweetheart that always loves to help around)
Evelyn - Helps her a lot w groceries and or garden stuff etc she feels greatful that dream wants to help and dream likes to listen to her talk abou when she was younger
Jas & the kids of the town - Dream loves hanging out w the kids they always come up to dream and beg to buy them some ice cream and dream never fails to cave and get them each a cone (he also likes to talk about jas with shane cause jas likes dream shanes like a distant uncle friend but dream still loves him and hope he gets better)
Gus - Dream learns to cook and bake with gus every saturday cause he wants to bake and cook more meals for george they bond over their love for cooking
for George, since he's innitially from the city and is like here begrudgingly at the start he doesn't have many friends but slowly gets to know them as dnf slowburn romance happens:
Haley - George's first friend! they bond over how much they miss the city at first but as george gets used to and likes the town haley also feels the same too :3 they always talk gossip about the townsfolk and george comes back home to gossip about it to Dream like local newspaper
Pierre - They have a friendly rivalry about the crop competition in the fall fair
Harvey - Meets DNF a lot everytime they go to the mines LOL he is the one who witnesses all the DNF gay shit in the hospital of them being cute and flirting cause theyre stuck in bed when healing and thats all they can do
Leah - George attends a town painting club thing to learn how to paint so that he can make a present for Dream cause Dream keeps doing all these things for him and this is the least he thinks he can do as gratitude (+ he wanted to participate in some community activities w the villagers to get closer.. making new friends is what dream wanted him to do so...)
The wizard - no one knows how or why george is so close to the wizard but they are close and dream finds it interesting
and here are some other relationships!
Leo - George easily befreinds Leo they like to goof around and talk to the parrots but Dream is a bit too tall and broad and it scares him a little so George tries to help. Also Dream's hair looks like a golden walnut so him and his parrots peck it everytime he arrives so he is required to wear a hat everytime he goes to the island
George (the old one) - has beef jokingly(???) with george that they share the same name old george wants to be THE george of stardew valley and is annoyed that another george has entered the ring to be the ultimate george of pelican town
Clint - accidentally thinks that emily and dream are like a thing and has one sided beef with this gay ass man
Other HC is that dream is like a local heartthrob but he falls for this grumpy city boy so some girls still send him anonymous love letters in his mailbox!

Ello! I Hope Ya Don’t mind me requesting a Crossover headcanon! Basically Pokémon Arven meeting a friendly Mandela catalogue Alternative Reader/Y/n who has a team of a grumpy Gengar yet affectionate,a motherly yet quickly protective Houndoom and a Cheerful and Innocent Mimikyu.Primarily they were the Pokémon of a Bad trainer who didn’t treat them well and well generally other people so Reader basically decided “say goodbye to your free trial of life” and basically takes theyre identity and Pokémon so they can have a better life? :D

As an Alternate living in the Pokémon world, you were always searching for a target. Someone's identity to steal.
Of course, this was no easy task...considering certain Pokémon types were attuned to their trainer's emotions (especially psychic and fairy types).
So they'd know right away if anything changed about their personalities and overall "energy".
One day, you see a boy with platinum-blond hair challenging some kid who looked rather mean, especially when they yelled at their own Pokémon, tearing them down rather than lifting them up.
"Stop whining, Mimikyu. I'm not wasting a burn heal on you just because you missed the Play Rough! You had a 90% chance of hitting that stupid pepper and you blew it!"
"Hey. Yelling at your Pokémon isn't gonna win you this fight." The boy starts, giving his Scovillain a healing potion. "I'll give you this turn to do the right thing..or else that burn is gonna knock it out-"
"Don't tell me what to do! We're gonna power through this and win!!"
But as you see...that trainer's arrogance becomes their downfall as Mimikyu attacked but didn't do enough damage, eventually fainting from the stress and the lingering burn effect.
The battle drags on as they bring out Gengar next, who manages to take down his Pokémon in one hit. But as their trainer cheers, the ghost's grimace becomes a happy smile as they try hugging them to celebrate--
Only to be pushed away roughly.
"Get off me! I don't want your Lick to paralyze me!"
Your anger slowly grows when you see how sad Gengar looks...and you begin festering empathy for these innocent creatures.
The last one sent out is a Houndoom who goes in and attacks, effortlessly taking down another one of the boy's (whose name you learned was "Arven" by this point) Pokémon.
Yet she didn't drink up the praise her trainer gave, instead sending them a cold glare that they returned in kind.
"What? If you're gonna be ungrateful, then go back in your pokeball, bitch....why are you growling?! Technically you're a female dog and I'm using the right term!"
That's the final straw for you.
And the moment you settled on a good target.
You began following their daily routine, seeing how truly sweet their main three Pokémon were..but also recognizing that this wasn't the first time they've been verbally abused.
The Houndoom was motherly towards Gengar and Mimikyuu...and only followed her trainer's orders to protect them both from punishment.
But you decided to be the one who protects all three of them.
So you tormented the trainer for a while, convincing them they were being haunted by a ghost-type and making them look crazy in front of all their peers and future challengers.
And you erased all their pokedex progress.
By the end, you killed and replaced them entirely in their sleep, and you kept the disguise up well (aside from the flaws typical to your species).
Yet all your "new Pokémon" noticed was your abrupt change of heart....though it took Houndoom a while to genuinely warm up to you.
She only did after you gave Gengar a much-deserved hug--they were crying tears of joy and at first she thought you upset them until she saw the smile.
After that, they were all willing to battle alongside you, especially Mimikyuu who was cheerier than ever whenever you brought them out, doing your best given what knowledge you gained from watching other trainers.
You spoiled them with treats, courtesy of the human scum you replaced and the thousands of pokedollars they selfishly kept for themselves.
When you crossed paths with Arven, he can immediately tell something's different about who he considers the "rudest trainer in Paldea".
You tell him that you're not a Pokémon, but a creature similar to a Ditto, explaining that you basically took their identity and Pokémon to give them a better life.
While he thinks identity theft is a very serious crime....he finds your actions justifiable and befriends you from there on.

Enide has a crush on Reggie! Reggie does not like Enide back. Enide wants him to at least give her a chance but is also understanding in the end that he simply doesn't like her that way. They're on friendly-ish terms. Like the middle area between friend and acquaintance. Or maybe that's to say Enide views him as a friend and Reginald views her as an acquaintance.
Reginald is not a cannibal. And while he's not the most innocent guy on the block he's no interest in eating anyone.

Wait what exactly is laughingstock's ideal type? For some reason, theyre one of your oc's whose dynamic with their darling im most interested in, he just makes me so curious asto how he'd treat someone lol
There are two types Laughingstock pairs best with in terms of treating them well- shy/timid darlings and friendly/kind darlings. Even back in their days at the circus Laughingstock always tried to bring a smile to the unwilling customers dragged along by family and friends or at least make them comfortable being there. Laughingstock mostly sees a shy darling as someone who's yet to come out of their shell or needing protection from the world.
They try not to lose their temper as easily with them and treats any escape attempts with willful, blissful ignorance (as you'll see with a fic in works)
A friendly darling somewhat matches his energy and he'd take their kindness as attraction/interest, and the go ahead to approach them romantically. Bro would simp like crazy for clown darling. In an ideal world a friendly darling could potentially drag them away from their murderous ways even slightly as Laughingstock wants to be the best version of themselves they can be to make darling happy/their laughter/general presence draws them from craving the attention of those who watch their streams. honestly i think caine would be the same way, not exactly but i think he would some of the cluelessness in terms of how the real world works... except its mostly with the non digital real world; call it inexperience or something! lets you play hero during the IHA.. honestly you kind of fit right in with your personality, with tropes and being a stereotypical comic book hero, if not a little naïve. pretends he doesnt recognize you when you walk around in your "citizens disguise"
likes coming up with villain npcs for you to fight during adventures
POMNI:
initial confusion when she sees you just walking around with a tie plastered to your chest, asks you what its for as well as dropping your name. even more shocked that youre shocked that she knows who you are. kind of just accepts this is a thing you do and doesnt question it, especially as she settles into the digital world.. at least youre handy during IHA.. i think during my little break i might try to figure out how i wish to right pomni because i really do wish i made her stuff more... interesting
RAGATHA:
honestly i think she would make you stuff to add to your disguise. doesnt want to shatter the illusion for you so she just tries to casually give you stuff out of the kindness of her heart... which isnt... totally wrong.. honestly i dont think she would try to change you or bring up the bad disguise thing so long as its not somehow putting you in danger. in fact i think she finds your whole hero personality endearing, you guys are both optimistic and its nice to be around someone who isnt just. losing their marbles or being a dick.. plus, you arent technically wrong to view the digital world as a cartoon, i mean, look at it and look at the physics of the world and all

oh he is going to be a menace, probably makes a joke villain persona to mess with you only for you to immediately gun for him and deal with his "evil antics",, i mean hey as long as jax doesnt put his silly little villain mask back on you wouldnt suspect a thing... maybe... i think he would roll his eyes at some of the things you say, since youre way more optimistic and out there than ragatha... probably uses your gullible..ness... as a means to trick you
KINGER:
honestly the "as a royal myself" line he dropped in the pilot makes me think that at some level he believes himself to be a real king; or maybe he was just REALLY playing into his whole theming and he knows hes just some dude but was trying to appeal to the gloink queen... what im trying to say is that i think there might actually be a solid chance he fully leans into your hero thing, and perhaps even falls for your disguise (if him constantly forgetting gangle is standing right next to him says anything about his observation skills and/or mental state)
ZOOBLE:
similar to jax but also not. finds your optimism a little too much sometimes; especially if youre very outwardly social and friendly so its not like you swoop in to do your hero duties but you also stop to talk to the 'civilians' of the circus.. though unlike jax they wouldnt try to trick you, nor do i think they would exactly be mean to you. a little irritable by your energy and attitude, maybe, but i think zooble gets irritated by almost everyone in the circus.. reluctantly plays along with your disguise
GANGLE:
i think she would be into it, probably draws you in your non-disguise outfit. you get fanart, yay! probably similar to pomni in the whole, just accepts how you are both as a person and with your antics, but i think she just accepts everything everyone else does! not much to say, shes a fan of it and if you stand up for her when jax is mean thats just an added bonus for her

THE KAMDEUCE TIMELINE
someone asked me what their relationship timeline is so i am so happy to oblige 😏 (its very long.)
ka'meisha and deuce sit next to each other on the same plane home back to miami. kam has a bit of anxiety because she's flying alone. theyre total strangers, but deuce gives her his hand, and she's able to relax (and falls asleep). she wakes up and hes already gone, forgets to thank him.
months go by and kam goes to a restaurant that deuce works at. he realizes here that she's blind and has no idea what he looks like and wont remember him. she remembers him after he tells her his name, then invites him to watch her perform at her job as thanks for what happened months prior. (this is about where the comic starts!)
he finally visits her job sometime, they get a drink together after her set. exchange numbers, talk a bit, and end up hooking up.
months and months of them being fwb and just going back and forth. not quite together but not quite Not together. they both really like each other but got their own stuff going on.
kam realizes she has too many 'grey' relationships like this. asks where their relationship is going and if theyre not going to be together, then they gotta stop having sex. they finally get together.
YADDA YADDA LOTS OF TIME GOES ONNN their relationship is a bit rocky bc deuce has a LOT going on rn. kam realizes that and suggests therapy. argument happens and deuce terribly communicates that he needs some space.
[something VERY big happens here. deuce goes to jail for something he didnt do. thing he 'did' is Extremely bad.]
kam 'cheats' on him with one of her old situationships because of [big reason] and she assumed its been over.
his name is cleared, but their relationship is still... undefined. he assumed she was faithful all this time and her integrity makes her tell him she was not. she tells him she still loves him but he needs to go to therapy, especially for what just happened to him.
HE FINALLY GOES TO THERAPY‼️
they try to remain on friendly terms as he goes through therapy.. but they relapse and have sex again bc they missed each other so much.
he is finally very honest to himself and to kam (good ol therapy am i right) and verbally tells her how much she means to him and how he wants nobody else but her.
NOW IN THEIR LATE 20S..
kam would figure out she's pregnant, and deuce would already have had a ring picked out that he springs on her as soon as he gets the news.
theyd get married years after they have their kid, angel. then angel is their flower girl!
deuce would be a stay at home dad while kam goes to teach middle schoolers. after angel gets big enough to go to school (at the same school as her mama <3), deuce would get a job and go back to college to get a degree.
everything goes great and they have a long happy life together and hes happier than hes ever been and ummm the end <3

Not really? Like there are definitely ghosts hes on friendly terms with but they still aren't above picking a fight if theyre having a bad day(such as Johnny or Kitty). I cant really see any of them losing interest in escaping to the human realm to goof of or terrorize Danny in particular.
I had considered the way Danny initially wound up at MH being accidental while fighting one of his rogues. But i have another concept I like more so I think I'm going with that now 🤔 i think it'd be funny if Ember knew Ari. Like back when Ember was mind controlling people into being famous she ran into Ari and they just kinda looked at each other. And then looked away. Lmao. Solidarity amongst ghost popstars who are manipulating the masses.
Oh Porter! He wanders off to Amity a couple times and has met one or two of the rogues. But idk who he'd get along with 🤔 maybe he plays pretend with youngblood sometimes lol

1. Why do you like or dislike this character?
i started liking him in s3 largely because he was the primary character to actually talk back to sayer and i thought their interactions were funny (they are); i also thought it was interesting seeing a higher level aerolith employee being treated with the same disposability as every other aerolith employee
initially he struck me very much as a foil to hale and i think in many way he is but he's ALSO a foil to sayer and it is just so fun... ive seen people point out how much his attitude around the replaceability of AI mirrors sayers views on humans but beyond that its neat to me how both of them are fixated on similar things (advancement for the sake of it, "humanity's future") but have very different attitudes on How to obtain their goals
young's willingness to lie and break rules in conjunction with his distrust of others is also interesting to me; he thinks of himself as acting pragmatically and everyone else as pointlessly abiding by rules that are arbitrary or outright counterproductive, and his comments about not seeing a place for "congeniality" at work give me the sense that when other people are friendly towards him (ie brady) theyre being insincere. tho given what typhon is like it seems wholly possible some people really do actively try to sabotage their coworkers
imo he's one of the most realistic/developed human characters in terms of the actual impact aerolith has on people who work there and also i just like that he's a neurotic little freak

cuz even if i know this is a game of romance and wits and murder mystery law, hyv cant just drop the cast like the nxx team (aka vyn and artem have doctorate degrees, mc is a graduate attorney, luke has a master's in bioengineering, and marius is working on his master's in oil painting) and not expect me to want to know more about how theyre interacting with their specific spheres of academia

stellis university's biology department is begging "Pearce, L." to please consider giving a guest lecture for their students, pretty please
i think it's very entertaining to remember that several departments at stellis university have a bunch of Celebrity Poster Students/Alumni/Profs.
psychology dept obviously has the graceful intelligent dr vyn richter and hoo boy, that incident back in his personal story 3 where for a hot sec the university believed a SKETCHY CALLOUT POST accusing him to be a TOXIC MANIPULATOR....okay thats pretty on par for the course of how social media works HAHA. but my point here is that vyn is beautiful and a great teacher and theres a fanclub for him and he was momentarily involved in juicy drama. hes the perfect poster prof, he brings in a lot of attention and, in turn, interested students.
the law dept obviously has artem wing, and theyve also got rising attorney mc too!! im not sure if ingrid rosworth is canonically also a graduate of stellis uni, but if she is, im sure the law dept can drop some spicy rumors about ingrid and artem's Bitter Rivalry or something
aaaand the fine arts department has The marius von hagen as a grad student, and that in itself is already a big draw and a bunch of publicity.
but what about the STEM nation?
luke pearce is the only person on the team that is in no way affiliated with stellis university. he got his master's degree at national central university, which (and i know i mentioned this before but i want to mention it again) is noted in the Big Data Lab to be a canonical rival school of stellis university
National Central University has been competing with Stellis University for the top-ranked college domestically for years, and each has its own strengths and weaknesses. [from the Big Data Lab entry on NCU]
which is already so hilarious to think about. can you imagine national central university and stellis university's sports teams go against each other for a big game and suddenly the nxx investigation team is divided due to school loyalties? luke's gonna be the lone ranger rooting for national central and everybodys gonna affectionately call him a traitor

while luke is the most lowkey of the team in terms of publicity/popularity he gets from the media, surely, surely this canonical genius' bioengineering contributions during his studies garnered attention from the nerds at stellis uni.
the master's thesis written by Pearce, L. is something many students and faculty have been fangirling/fanboying over the moment they read it, and it becomes known that Pearce, L. is currently residing in south stellis, and thus the dept keeps sending luke emails inviting him to do a guest lecture sometime
and he always just replies with a concise and friendly "No thank you! :D" because 1) hes got enough on his plate to do right now and 2) cuz of stupid school loyalties jhvJHVKSJHFS, hes not teaching on enemy territory

luke (biology/engineering) and vyn (psychology/pedagogy) use APA. mc and artem (law) use The Bluebook Style. and marius, our sole trooper in the fine arts, uses MLA.
if ever the team have to collaborate with somebody else in the team who is outside of their respective discipline's citation style to co-author some research, blood will be shed. the chaos would be immense. everybody assumed they were using the same citation (i.e. whatever citation each of them were respectively used to) and then when they realize the formatting discrepancies, the ACADEMIC RIFTS IN MANUALS OF STYLE, everybody gets extremely defensive and comically overdramatic over their preferred format of choice

i definitely agree that a lot of boobers are so fucking weird about them, there’s no argument there.
but specifically about the “replying to posts like theyre friends” thing, i feel like that’s just tumblr culture (for lack of a better term) honestly. responding to ppl’s posts like it’s a conversation has always been normal here in my experience.
i will say, i havent particularly seen those replies, so i dont know how far/bad they are when you refer to them, but just generally i think thats the least weird thing they do.
(i dont mean to sound like a “ive been in tumblr 50 years and this is just The Way 🤬” by the way, i mean this completely normally, im just bad at tone)

But yeah, I can definitely see that! I do know it’s part of Tumblr culture to respond to other people. But I feel an issue with how a lot of replies under Ranboo’s posts do it is that they either
A.) just be really weird (a lot of which are making jokes about Ranboo’s queerness or “joking” about them being transfem or fem-leaning, which they’ve never stated was a thing I’m pretty sure)
B.) Behave as though they’re friends with Ranboo, or refer to them with terms people would normally use to refer to close friends (I see people calling Ranboo a fag under HIS OWN POSTS. I know people call each other faggot in a positive/endearing way here, which is awesome! But like it’s still weird to do it to someone you don’t know, and don’t know is comfortable with the term I think.) People also tend to reply to serious posts in this way, which is fine for the most part, but I feel drifts into being more of a “we’re friends I’m comforting a friend.” Sort of thing occasionally.
All of this, combined with how Boobers also will hound Ranboo about shit on other social medias, (BooTWT is like. Weirdly possessive over Ranboo being their “ideal content creator” and whenever he does something that they don’t like they FREAK OUT. Either demanding an apologies or harassing other people. ConnorEatsPants being harassed about Genloss comes to mind, along with Boobers harassing Tommyinnit a lot of the time as well. And they’re just dicks to a lot of people in general.) people will somewhat mimic that behavior here, although seemingly to a lesser degree than Twitter. And while replying to posts is usually harmless, I feel like people just get too friendly or behave oddly to Ranboo, who’s someone they don’t know, and who doesn’t know THEM. It’s just a lot weirder than the average Tumblr account interaction I think. And while replying to them is fine!!! I have no issues with that (And I’m obviously not going to stop anyone or try to police how ppl interact with others) I just feel like people need to step back a bit and be like “I’m interacting with someone I am a stranger to.” rather than “I know a lot about this person. Therefore we are friends.”
