Beginning to really wonder how much of my financial concern is manufactured and handed to me as opposed to something I'm genuinely concerned by
#bc like. i'm getting by just fine. i don't have anything to be reasonably worried about#but also when i was a kid my father would break down my mother's paycheck and basically explain how broke we were#and that May Have Affected Me Somewhat#as well as just. the way you consistently see the advice to just save! don't get takeout! necessities! and i'm not intent on living like#a monk nor am i intent on being on that grindset for financial gain#it's like i don't intrinsically care but i have so many messages given to me about how i need to care a lot and it puts me in a weird spot#i am simultaneously standing still and moving at mach speeds#i mean right now i just need a safety net while in between jobs; after that i need to save up to move out of state bc the uh#political situation and upcoming presidential election don't seem very sustainable for someone like me anymore#they weren't to begin with but i don't wanna stick around to see how bad it's gonna get#but it's like. okay and then what? save for what? going back to school i guess? idk#i feel like i keep asking myself what i'm trying to accomplish and keep trying to force myself to have answers#here and now when i have to be okay with taking things one step at a time instead of having everything here and now#it's simultaneously fine and terrible and i am holding two conflicting yet equal truths#i feel i may have a clearer head once i leave my current job. i'm trying to look but nothing feels appealing given how#burnt out i already feel. i dread going back into my workplace and i fear it's showing to the patients and i don't want that#i want a month off to rediscover who i am as a person outside of getting yelled at in retail and then pick something back up#could be feasible. genuinely could be. i need to sort out the health insurance aspect but. that's lowkey the plan?#to construct a financial safety net and then slam on the breaks for a while; see if i can strike up a deal with the staff about me#coming in for specific tasks bc we already know i'm quick and efficient with the inventory so i do have a little leverage#you know what. this is getting some of it off my chest and i'm starting to feel confident again lmao#i won't be doing weekends starting either next week or the week after so that's a start! i just think i want everything done right now#bc i'm afraid i won't have the chance again but i will. i definitely will#i just need to let myself get to that point; it's just the immense drain from the register work and the Everything that comes with retail#also having to accept that it's okay to leave this; there's not something wrong with me like. ''not being able to handle it'' or w/e#no mindfulness or detachment could've saved me; it was shit and i'm hitting the bricks and that's all there is to it#i've been thinking a lot about it all lately bc it's what's most prominent in my life rn of course#idk. pondering. introspecting. as i am wont to do#anyways if you've read all this you're a real mvp and i am kissing you on the hand#shai speaks

Daniel had told you he would be home as soon as he finished his training with Mr. Miyagi.
Now, you expected him to be home around five, however whenever he walked in at eleven-thirty slathered in dried paint and a pair of ruined jeans. You couldn't say you weren't surprised that he was on the edge of sleeping while standing. Daniel was holding on to his shoulder and groaning slightly whenever he moved. He throws his backpack on the floor and falls into your arms and smiles in your embrace. “Danny, how was practice?” He peaks his eyes at you and lays back down. “He made me paint his house and stain wood. I don't think I can feel my arms or legs.” You laugh gently and run your hand through his mop of hair.
He tries to get up and you pull him down and make him lay down on the couch. “No. You're obviously too sore to do anything. Let me go get my massage oil, baby. You need to relax.” Daniel smiles at you and you can barely see his eyes peeking through his long lashes. He has bags under his eyes and he's about to fall asleep right there. You appear from the hallway holding a bottle of oil and a pillow. “Baby, lemme put the pillow under your head. It'll help your neck.” He nods and you pull his head up and stick the pillow under.
Daniel sinks into the couch and into the pillow. He's absolutely exhausted and you can tell. Whatever other activities Mr. Miyagi was sticking Daniel in, making the hyperactive teen sleepy and irritated. You frowned slightly at his discomfort and soft groans he let out whenever you grabbed his arm. “I'm sorry, I'm just gonna rub the knots out of your arm, I can't almost feel them.” He responds with scattered speech and a slow nod.
You begin rubbing and you see his eyebrows furrow together and start to relax. His face contorts into different ways as he gets the knots rubbed out of his arms and legs. After a few minutes, he sits up and grins at you. “Can you get my shoulders and chest? They hurt too.” He asks you gingerly, and stares into your eyes. “Of course I can. Anything else that might hurt I can.” He unbuttons the tan shirt he's wearing and puts it on the floor.
Daniel's smaller and lankier than the rest of the boys in your grade, and you would have to agree with that. Daniel didn't have washboard abs, or a height over six-foot, but you still were madly in love with how he looked. However, he still can't help but make you get warm and tingly inside whenever he gets undressed. He has some build to him, mostly around his arms and back that makes you wanna rub your hands across them.
Daniel was sweet and kind, much better than the Cobra’s that crowded the hallways and attacked the girls around them. You were understandably worried about Daniel wanting to do karate, especially after what Ali told you what Johnny did to Daniel on the beach. He promised you he would never, and it was only for protection, never for situations that didn't need to include karate.
You weren't sure how painting and staining wood played into karate, but you just shrugged it off. You were pushing against his shoulder and tugging on certain parts. His eyes were rolled back into his head and he was giggling slightly. You're getting uncomfortable yourself as your back is twisted in a weird position. “Aw shit. My back is killing me. Give me a second.” You go to adjust your back with a quick snap of your body and you moan out. “Okay. I'm good now.”
You go to massage him again until he pulls you into his arms and he pushes you into his lap. “This’ll be better.” His ears are a dark red and he's finally waking up slowly. His eyes are still relaxed and he's smiling at you. You continue to rub and massage his tan skin. His hands are on your thighs, slowly rubbing them. “You always treat me so well..” The Jersey accent is thick as he draws his hand up to your face and his thumb strokes gently on your cheek. Your hand goes to his as it sits on your face. “I will always take care of you.”
Daniel leans closer into you, pulling you forward in his lap. His lips glide against yours and you smile in his embrace. He's kissing you and your hands slide into his hair and pull on it gently. He tastes like Sprite and sweet candy, and he slowly deepens the soft kiss you were holding with him. The air thickens with rapid touching and lip smacking. Daniel has always been moving quickly, never slowing down in his life. For some reason, everything feels slow as Daniel soaks in the moment.
He always had trouble expressing his emotions until they bottled up and he would yell and have a tantrum. You had slowly been fixing that by making him talk about school or work, in hopes that him talking with play into his feelings. Surprisingly, he has gotten better with it. And if anything, he would let out his feelings in harsh kisses and hugs he doesn't realize are too hard. So, the thought that he's relaxed and is slowly kissing you, is a surprising new fact.
You pull away from him and he's smiling. “You always treat me so well.” Daniel says once again, kissing you quickly once more. He lays back against the couch and pulls you down with him. You're in his arms and you're in-between the cape of his neck. You kiss gently on his neck and he hugs you tightly and pecks the top of your head. “I love you. And, you gotta tell Mr. Miyagi to teach you some karate to get sore again.” Daniel laughs and squeezes you. “I love you too. However, I would be sore a million times if you tell me that's how it ends.”

They Won't Get Away With It | Corinthian x trans!m!reader
Anonymous asked: Corinthian x trans man!reader :)
Aka Reader is guilted by his mother to come to a family reunion. Decides to take his serial killer boyfriend with him because he doesn’t wanna be alone andddd someone may or may not get murdered for being an asshole to reader :)
Corinthian murders on of reader’s shitty family members cause no one disrespects his boyfriend
summary: when guilt tripped into a family reunion, you're not exactly keen, knowing the bullshit bigotry that you have to put up with... but at least you have your boyfriend there for emotional support and a little bit more.
tws: blood, violence, murder, swearing, heavily implied domestic violence, transphobia
Family reunions weren't exactly your favourite thing in the world to begin with, seeing as how when it came to them, it was your father and sister and some cousins - most of the family, really - who were actually decent towards you; the rest weren't. The rest refused to acknowledge who you were, regardless of whether or not others stepped in to stick up for you; they fucking treated you like shit, and made you feel bad about existing. Still, when you were guilt tripped into meeting with them, you knew you at least had some emotional support; Corinthian was happy to go with you, even more keen when you explained what certain members of your family were like when it came to your existence. He could make them feel pain that they had never thought fathomable, he could cause them such awful and terrible pain that they would beg him to kill them; and set he would continue, finding pleasure amongst their desperate cries and howls.
Thankfully, you were the first to arrive at the rendezvous, though; a fucking massive cabin in the middle of nowhere and you couldn't even get signal on your phone. You found your room easily enough, even if the wrong name had been printed on the piece of paper that hung on the white wooden door; the room was big enough, a bed and a television and a wardrobe, but the walls were hollow and the door was, too. If you needed to talk when the others arrived, you had to be quiet about it. You didn't talk much as you stuffed the wardrobe with what clothes you and your boyfriend had brought, but as he sat at the edge of the bed with his legs spread and his hands on his knees, he dared to clear his throat.
"Why don't I just handle them?"
You sighed, running a hand down your face and shaking your head, daring to sit next to him and wrap both arms around his. "I really don't want to be here, y'know, and I think... I think if we had to put up with some sort of bullshit And Then There Were None situation, we'd be fucked. Royally."
Corinthian didn't want to go against your wishes, that much was true, but he also saw no reason why he shouldn't; he could be careful, he could be meticulous and methodical about it. He wouldn't exactly make a mess that he couldn't clean up himself, he wouldn't be an idiot. So he decided if he heard or saw anything go on, he would more than happily deal with whoever dared to disrespect you; he didn't care who it was.
When there was a knock at the door, you answered it, and upon seeing your father, you sighed heavily. "Thank fuck it's you."
"I'm sorry about the name," he told you. "I tried to sneak in the proper one, but they took it down and replaced it when they saw it... how are you, though?"
"I'm good," you told him, clearing your throat and gesturing for him to step inside. Corinthian got to his feet, and extended his hand towards your father. "Dad, this is my boyfriend, Corinthian... Corinthian, this is my dad."
"Pleasure," your father said, shaking your boyfriend's hand with a nod. "Corinthian... bit of a weird name, innit?"
Corinthian shrugged as he cleared his throat. "I guess you could say that my parents were into their traditions."
Your father merely accepted it, but then he fished into his pocket, and brought out a key chain as he smiled. "I think I got the right flag - I asked for the gender one. I just wanted to show people, without you know who catching on, that I support you."
You looked at it, nodding slowly as you swallowed thickly. It had the right colours, the blue and the white and the pink, but it was subtle enough that it was unlikely anyone who didn't know it would guess. You couldn't help but to smile. "Thanks, Dad... it, it means a lot."
"I remember when you first told me you were my son," he said quietly. "I was so fucking proud of you. I'll always be proud of you, y'know, I love you, and I keep trying to tell... y'know about the fact that how they're treating you ain't right but... you know how them lot get."
Corinthian looked between you and your father for a second, frowning a little when he noticed that your father was wearing the type of make-up used specifically for covering bruises; he clenched his jaw, grinding his teeth as he realised exactly what happened when people dared to be decent around the bigots in your family. First, they were already more than vile towards his boyfriend. Now, it was obvious that they were more than vile towards his boyfriend's father, too. He didn't say anything, though, simply letting you and your father catch up while he dared to explored the property, but then he caught one of the bigots' attention as they arrived.
The second that they said the wrong thing, he had made it quick and he had been careful; dragging them into the nearby woods and shoving their vile mouth full of dirt and leaves, enough that they were gagging but could not spit it out. He pulled out his knife, and when they started to sob and beg for mercy, he squatted in the mud before them, tilting his head to the side and humming lowly.
"Y'know, I don't let people get away with disrespecting my boyfriend," he started, "never have I let anyone get away with it... you bigots, especially... but when I see that his own dad is bruised, too?" He tutted. "What? Did you think you could get away with it?"
They nodded, honesty always came eventually. Bigots were the weakest, a mere threat and they were crying and pissing their fucking trousers. Pathetic at heart and weak as the petals of a daffodil. Their muffled cries only made the Corinthian laugh. No amount of pleading and begging for mercy would make him stop, what they had done and the pleasure he got, it was a win-win situation by all accounts; he thought he would start by carving their arms and legs up a little, enough to make them squeal like pigs and trash in the dirt. Not enough to be saved. He peeled the skin on their fingers. He cut through their cheeks and took out their tongues. Then the real fun began.
Sure, he had to hide the body somewhere that wouldn't draw attention for a good while, but it was worth it; nothing felt better than killing. He took their eyes, as he always did, and he made sure that there was no blood on him or his knife when he crept back in, heading right towards your shared room; he smiled when he saw you laid on the bed with your headphones on. A song he had heard a thousand and one times and one that he knew you loved so fucking much; 'Fucked With A Knife' by Cannibal Corpse. The bed dipped a little when he laid down beside you, taking your hand in his and pulling it to his chest as he hummed softly.
You slipped your headphones off, and turned to him, noticing that smile of his. "You killed someone."
"Only some asshole who couldn't keep their bigotry to themselves," Corinthian told you, his voice even and steady. Calm. "Nothing to worry about, puppy. Trust me."
You nodded, cuddling up to him; even though he didn't have so much as a spot of it on him, he smelled like copper and steel. Blood and the blade of his knife. "You don't have to, y'know, I... I mean, I've dealt with this bullshit for years. Them not seeing me as a man, them not using the right name or addressing me properly. I just... I really didn't wanna be alone this time."
"You won't be alone," he promised gently. "But you know how I feel about killing... especially when it comes to people who disrespect or hurt you. I'm happy to do it... just point the decent members of your family out, I'll leave them alone."
"You promise we won't end up in an And Then There Were None situation?" You asked, and when he nodded and said he would make sure that you didn't, you sighed, and gently kissed his cheek. "Okay. I'll point out who you need to stay away from and uhm... thank you. It sounds odd that I'm thanking you for killing someone but... thank you."
"You're my boyfriend," Corinthian told you. "Nobody gets away with treating you like that. Nobody gets away with treating your dad like that, either. Not while I'm here."
You hummed, daring to move around a little so that your head was on his chest, letting him gently run his fingers up and down your arm; he was honest about it. He wouldn't let anyone get away with being a bigot. He wouldn't let anyone try and tell you that you were something other than the man he knew and loved. He wouldn't let anyone get away with hurting your father. He wouldn't let them get away with anything, not while he was around. Killing them would be pleasurable enough as it was, but when he thought of their actions, it made it all that much better; the pleasure was increased, and it was simply a bonus that it meant that he could keep you and your father away from any further harm. He wouldn't do the same for anyone else.

Tumblr media
Staring at the ceiling for hours has become a norm for you as of late. Eyes heavy and tired, bloodshot red from having given into your feelings and bursting into tears once again. Your head can only simply register one thing, a single thought, "Why am I so tired?" But you know why you're tired, you know why you're here. But that's the last thing you want to think about. Maybe if you were to isolate your thoughts so much, it wouldn't seep out onto others, you wouldn't infect them with your incredible burnout and awful mental state. Maybe, if... you just weren't here anymore, you wouldn't have to let anybody down?
It's felt as if almost everything around you is slowly crashing down, the fact that it's all happened so slowly only makes it even worse. Like a "fuck you" that never goes away. Almost as if your new constant stresses and worries don't take up all the time in your day. Eating and sleeping have never felt like such a task, even as little as you've partaken in such tasks over these 2 weeks. "If I'm always hurting someone else or making their day worse, then why shouldn't mine be worse?" Nothing but self destructive thoughts, clawing and chipping away at the usual outspoken vivacious person that is yourself. Counting the hours that pass or occasionally opening your phone just to stare at your lock screen being the only thing keeping you from floating away in that awful fucked up brain of yours.
You feel truly utterly useless, everything you have done or tried to do has lost all its worth. The frowns of other people begin to feel like knives penetrating through you, twisting and mixing your insides, almost making you feel sick. You feel so embarrassed that your only thoughts can be "Why am I here?" or "What's stopping me." Why can't you just be normal? Why can't you just feel happy? You don't like isolating yourself, but you can't bother to leave your room even though it has been days.
As you continue laying there, every blink you make feeling tenfold of what it truly is, you are jolted back to your senses as you hear a soft knock coming from your door. Unable to really ignore it, seeing as you can't really lie about not being home, your car is outside. You return the knock, trying to hide how tired you are, "What happened?" The door then opens a small bit, only being the slightest bit ajar, just barely enough for a head to stick out from it. And that is just what happened, suddenly you see at first small bits of messy plum-purple hair stick in through the small crevice made. Then, you begin to see it, the face of the oh so lovely yet oh so timid Mayoi. At that very moment, it then suddenly hit you... "You've probably had your boyfriend worried sick this whole time." Mayoi had always been the type to show the highest bit of concern for you, no matter what was going on. But, he would never want to invade your privacy, if he think you needed your own space, he'd give just that. Even so, he'd always be right there by your side no matter what, through thick and thin Mayoi was there even if you two haven't decided to move in with each other yet. He would often have his moments where his overwhelming stresses and anxieties get the better of him and he can't help but break into a panic, being able to comfort him and help him through that would send your heart to the moon.
Mayoi's whole head suddenly peeks through the door, you hear a slight rustle coming from what seems to be something in his hand which is obstructed by the doors view. His striking cyan eyes always catch you off guard. It's always as if they are staring into the deepest part of your body, just studying you. With a concerned frown on his face, he can't help but see how tired you look, and seeing your face slightly red from the previous crying you had done only makes him more worried. Finally, Mayoi musters up the courage to say something.
"Y/n.. I'm really worried about you. Y-you haven't come out of your room in a few days, I'm so sorry for being a bother but, d-do you need me to stay for a few days?" Mayoi sounds like he might even shed a tear himself, you are simply shooken to your core seeing his face, the true worry, sadness, confusion. You don't want to leave Mayoi like that, but no matter what it just feels like you can't get your shit together. Feeling such guilt and doing nothing more than blaming yourself for Mayoi's concern, you ask him to come into your room.
He becomes a bit flustered at the request, "Are you sure I should come in? I don't want to invade your space."
"How could such a considerate person deserve me.." you'd think to yourself and you fight the urge to frown even more noticeably. "It's just fine Mayoi, you're welcome into my room at any time, please don't feel worried to step in." You give him the most comforting smile your face can possibly contort into. The plum haired boy begins moving around the scattered clothes and small bits of garbage flooding the ground, trying his very best not to step on anything. Along with the more steps into your room he took, the rustling noise from before had been revealed to you to have been indeed a bag that was hanging from his wrist.
Every second he inches closer to your bed, you can feel your body tensing up, your heart rate only raising. "He shouldn't have to go through all this trouble for me, why do I cause him all this trouble? I should be a normal, loving, happy partner, yet here I am. Doing nothing but causing him trouble. Why do I keep on making mistakes, I'm only hurting him, why would he even stay with me if I'm that much of a bother, why am I even here anymore?!" You can't help but panic, why must you torment yourself like this any time someone dares to care about you, any time someone would even try to open their heart to a vile awful person like you.
Suddenly, as Mayoi reaches your bed, you have lost all track of your thoughts, how far you have sent yourself in terms of blind panic. Because, low and behold, you are already in tears, sitting there right in front of Mayoi. You are only made aware of this once you feel one of the crystal drops run down your cheek, almost tickling it. Mayoi jumps a bit, not expecting this sudden reaction.
"Y-Y/n?! D-did I do something wrong, are you alright?! Please don't cry.... I'm sorry, I'M SORRY!" A billion thoughts rush into Mayoi's head slightly sending him into a panic aswell. You can't help but blame yourself as always for this situation. But, you do the only thing that you think you can do right now, you just... hug him, you latch your arms around Mayoi and you don't let go. Almost having him in a death grip, you can do nothing more than try to let yourself feel the warm embrace and try to calm your boyfriend down. You let out sudden sporadic sobs, not being able to contain all these bottled up feelings, Mayoi suddenly shakes each time you let one of the sobs out.
After choking on your words more than enough, you are finally able to get a few words out. "Mayoi... I'm-" you take a deep breath trying to stop another sob from coming out, "I'm so sorry.." but you couldn't stop it, more tears came out. "I do nothing but hurt you, I do nothing but cause you pain, I keep on bringing you down with my problems. I'm so sorry for everything I've done to you, I don't want to be constantly worrying you, but somehow I can always fuck up and do just that. I keep on fucking up for everyone, no matter how hard I try. I'm just... so tired, I'm tired and I can't do this anymore. It's all so hard, I'm just a waste of space that's been nothing but a useless burden to everyone." You take one last shaky breath, more tears coming, "I'm sorry....". You can no longer comprehend any basic words to use to express how you feel, absolutely out of any energy to say anything more. You just dig your head into Mayoi's shoulder, and once again hug him.
It takes a while for anything else to happen, but that's fine with you, just being in Mayoi's arms gives you a sense of comfort, but an unimaginable sense of pain. His hand begins to reach for your hair, as he shakily strokes it, just like a parent would with their child trying to lull them to sleep.
"Y/n... you haven't done a single thing wrong. I'm so sorry these feelings have been bothering you so much. Please tell me... y/n" He hesitates, slowing down the gentle strokes in your h/c hair, "Are y-you okay y/n? I'm really sorry for asking but, I can't see you so sad like this. I'm in no place to assume how you feel, so please, if you have anything going on, you can tell me."
Knowing Mayoi would be willing to give that kind of space to open up about how you feel, you decide to finally let it out. Though the embarrassment won't go away, though all the bad thoughts feel so loud, you can't keep this from him anymore. It's not worth keeping it all in anymore, not when Mayoi is so concerned about you. You suddenly begin to let everything out, talking about your struggles, your constant concerns, and well.. the thoughts you've had. Being as brutally honest as you can is all you can do, but you make sure to remind Mayoi that none of this is his fault and in no ways are you upset at him. The last thing you would want is to have him panicking which would only make things worse. The fact that he is even here listening to you, and so intently as he is already enough of a shocker.
"That's... about all, I'm so sorry about the mess aswell, I'm just.. a mess right now." You sigh as you look downward with a look of shame and embarrassment that you'd let things get this low. It takes Mayoi a bit of time to find the right words to say, a process which normally would take him a fair amount of time. Once finding out what he wants to say and how to say it, he gently holds your hand, looking into your e/c eyes with the same look you always get as you stare into his eyes.
"Y/n, you've never been anything of a bother, I should have checked on you more. Never would I believe you deserve any of this..." He pauses. Getting lost in your gaze, which shakes him up a bit, he regains his grounds, "I-i want to help you in any ways that I can... I love you, and I will be here for you. Though I am nowhere close to anything above average, I want to love and care for you in whatever ways I can. Everything is going to be okay y/n, I got you. I won't let you go."
The last sentence he let out shook you to your core, and you could feel yourself tearing up again. You then fall right into him, but not suddenly enough to catch him off guard, and you just lay there. Never has an embrace felt so... comforting, so loving, so reassuring. But, Mayoi has proved a hug like that can exist and that yes... everything might end up really being okay. After some time, you sit back up. Mayoi looks to his left where he had placed the bag he had in hand down during the breakdown, and he passes you the bag.
"I'm s-sorry if you aren't hungry, but just in case you are, I got you your favorite." He slightly blushes as you open the bag to find a large assortment of foods and snacks you like; you can't help but smile and look at him.
"Thank you Mayoi... thank you, I love you"

#13 Shota Aizawa x Nakano (MHA OC
'the offer'
Tumblr media
__________________
The next day you dragged yourself halfheartedly back into UA's main building, your legs and arms recovered from what happened yesterday, but due to a sleepless night you felt yourself lose more and more focus on your surroundings. If you don't manage to get a hold of yourself and your quirk, at least back to the same degree as five months ago, Mr. Aizawa may find another reason to call you unfit for this school.
You shouldn't have let yourself go that much while you moved to Japan five months ago. While you thought it would be a good thing to move earlier to get used to the different life style, you now also missed out on the few people back home that still wanted to train with you. With them you always worked out together, their existence made it impossible for you to say "Another day/Tomorrow maybe...". But now, on your own, you had free reign over yourself, became way too slack with your own discipline.
Look where it got you. Yeah maybe UA accepted you...but your current fitness is much worse than the last month you had spent in America, you had been at the top of your game, going stronger each month. "Hey! Kaneko! Wait up!" Someone shouts behind you as you walk into the building that housed your classroom. Looking over your shoulder, you see a different Blonde from your new class. What was his name again?
"Oh hey..." You made it obvious with your tone that you never really caught his name, embarrassing for you, really. "Oh it's Kaminari. Buuut if you want to, you can also call me Denki!" Did he really just allow you to use his first name? How long did you know each other? "T-thanks...but I'll stick with Kaminari until we know each other a bit better...alright? It would seem rude if i begin calling you on first name Basis just like that..." Even if he allowed you to do so, you thought friendship always took a little while.
"Of course, that's fine. Wanna go to class together?" He seemed alright with you preferring his last name for now, probably not even giving it much of a thought either as you slowly nod at his request and followed him to the elevator in the big entrance area.
"You showed Bakugou really who's boss yesterday, huh?" He asks on the way up, a bright grin on his face as he looked at you with some level of basic admiration, "Eh, i didn't do it for that."
Big lie, biggest yet. More to come...
"I simply wanted to show my own worth..." "About that, isn't weird that we had to show Mr. Aizawa our quirks' abilities even though we got through the exams just fine?"
De- Kaminari was right, it was a bit weird, especially since you're quite sure that the teachers have been watching the full extend of the exams with cameras around the city-replica battle arena that got used for the exam. You knew because in your first and second year in NYC you had been your Teacher's aid and had been partially watching the exams of the new students that came into school after your class reached the next grade.
It wouldn't be much different here than back in America, right? Even if the stuff that got taught was somewhat different, the schools' systems would be fairly similar.
"That's true... but i'm sure Mr. Aizawa had his personal reasons?" The blonde squints at you in surprise at your words for your new teacher, "But weren't you the one who was ready to start a fight with said teacher for a pair of glasses? Why so tame now?"
Good question, maybe because he wasn't half as bad as your mind made him out to be after he actually praised your quirk's possible potential once everyone was gone...or maybe because you actually thought about taking his deal of him giving you some private tutoring? "Sometimes people start on a bad foot..." You give as your unfortunately just half-assed explanation, wishing you could still form a smart explanation instead, as the sliding door opened, letting the two of you out of the elevator and into the hallway of first year students' floor.
"God, i wish teachers at my old school would've been so cool looking as Mr. Aizawa!" Kaminari whines as you enter the classroom, the next surprise awaiting the blonde as it seemed that the both of you had been the first ones here yet. Not even... what's her name? Yaoyorozu? Right. Her... Slipped through the exam tests by literally nothing but recommendation. In NYC, you also got in due to recommendation, by your parents who taught at the school at the same time. Same treatment as all your other siblings, the one thing they did equally for their children.
The difference? Even then, future students still had to finish and pass the exams. No extra bonus just because a pro hero was like 'Yeah, she'll be good, i guess...'
You're truly surprised that she wasn't already sitting at her desk, ready to be a "recommended" smartass. You're most likely being also too harsh on her, just like with the other Blondie. The hot head. But you're difficult with people at the beginning, their worst attributes tend to stand out first for you.
Remembering that Kaminari had said something beforehand, you reply to him while unpacking your backpack for the first class in a few minutes, albeit with some difficulties as you felt your eyes unfocus once more. So tired... "Well, you're probably from Middle School, I'm guessing? 99% of teachers you knew beforehand, probably weren't pro heroes like Mr. Aizawa..."
Kaminari hummed from his seat behind you, playing with the blackboard's chalky sponge in his "before class boredom", "So I'm taking it that even though you're from abroad, you know some about the Pro Heroes existing in Japan?"
The voice, similarly tired as yours, came from the floor and now that you actually looked behind the wooden desk at the front, you saw the same yellow sleeping bag from yesterday. He was already here the whole time!
"Quick, Kaneko, list all Pro Heroes in Japan!" The blonde jokes, definitely having gotten that one from somewhere on the internet as you begin to grow a tad red. In all honesty, you did know some of them, but not all of them. The ones you knew about the best were All Might, Present Mic, Hawks, Endeavor and Eraserhead. Last one currently acting up as a yellow plastic caterpillar. Or mummy. Depends, the sleep deprived jury is still out.
"Knowing about the people you're trying to follow in their footsteps can be truly great motivation. Learning about them shows you what you still might need to learn yourself to be the hero you plan to become." Mr. Aizawa mumbles, clearly not showing any attempt at least sitting up in his human cocoon. But still, pretty inspiring and kind words, after yesterday though you thought that he was the kind of teacher that didn't show his kindness to everyone of his students, "But you also need to work on your own abilities instead of hyping up the older generation. Don't just research their achievements, find out about their mistakes and work on yourself to not make the same ones too." And of course...there was the tough-love remark.
When he talked with you yesterday, he threw a lot of these at your aching head, fully making use of the fact that you couldn't just leave him standing there since he had your sunglasses.
"Yes, Sensei, i know... And i will. I'm gonna work real hard on myself!" You claim now with the last of your enthusiasm, shakily standing up from your place to give your words a bit more weight, no matter if he saw that from his current place on the ground. But Kaminari watching you, it made him jump up as well, "Oh yeah, me too! You bet it, Kaneko! Mr. Aizawa!" Kaminari shouts just so much louder than you, cheering himself on as you already let yourself fall back into you wooden chair without hiding your obvious exhaustion any further. You couldn't sleep all night, thinking hours upon hours about the offer of your teacher.
You would ask Ochako or someone else for their opinion but you deemed his offer for just your ears, after all he would've given said offer to everyone else too otherwise, right? But why did he give you that offer in the first place...was it the same reason everyone else in your family joked about your quirk? He probably only offered his help because he thought you're too weak to do it on your own...after all he couldn't know that your performance was praised by your school. Before the accident.
And as you had already accepted, your past self in America would also call your current performance weak. To break down like this after nothing but a simple Quirk Test for first year students. You're so pathetic, such a fucking stupid joke...the exact waste of space your family uses to call you.
"Kaneko. Wake up from your daydream, you once again didn't listen to what I said, or am I wrong?" No. Mr. Aizawa was right, you heard not a single word of what he apparently said. You didn't even realize the one and only mountain of a hero, All Might, next to him. So instead of lying to them and to yourself, you shake your head, hanging your head down in shame. You're so...tired. In the past you've been awake for days without breaks for your endurance training, all to draw out more time from your quirks sadly limited activation, even that had been thrown out of the window in these five months it seems.
What a failure.
"I-i'm so very sorry, Aizawa Sensei. Could you...please repeat the assignment for me?" You ask as polite as you could, showing your classmates — who all collected in the hallway behind the two pro heroes — and the two teachers that you had a very different side to your usually difficult to handle personality. Even if you felt like your actual brain was still somewhere back home in bed right now, catching up on the rest it actually now needed. "I'll make one excuse but ju–" "Now wait just a moment, Aizawa. Look at her, she seems... awfully exhausted?" All Might himself interrupts your teacher, who glared up at him from his scarf, "What about it. Heroes are tired all the time, they can't hide from a battle just because they are exhausted. Isn't that right?"
The question targeted at All Might sounded a lot more personal than the taller individual probably liked, slightly backing away before he stood his ground once more, "No matter your opinion, Aizawa, since i am the teacher for the class's battle training, it's also my say who's even capable of attending." All Might exclaims loudly, staying adamant about keeping you out of the first battle training today. So that's what's on todays lesson-plan, a battle training.
One team would be the heroes, one the villains. That type of physical lesson also existed in NYC and you tended to like those. It let you strategize for something that could very well become a very serious reality. Much like Student vs. Student or vs. Teacher training or Rescue training.
Rescue training was something you sometimes struggled at because your quirk may be definitely possible to be used for defense, or for support. But all your training had been mostly offense heavy because that's what your parents pushed you into. All with the childish and outdated idea of support heroes being weaker than the "actual" front force.
Bunch of garbage in your eyes, every hero had it's greater use, that's how you wanted to see this world. There is a use for everyone...
Right?
"What do you want to tell me with that?" "That i will NOT take young Kaneko with the rest of the class today. I do not want my students collapsing mid-exercise and neither do you, right?" Mr. Aizawa crossed his arms as his dark eyes wander over to you, fixated on yours. For a moment, he seems to look you all over, seeing your upper body lying somewhat pathetically on your school desk by now, before he exhales in defeat. "Fine. I'll take care of her. You take the class as planned, alright?"
Very satisfied with Mr. Aizawa's decision, the taller, buffer hero grins even wider with a thumbs up, not just for his colleague but also towards you, "Always make sure to get a full night of rest, young Kaneko! Now, let's go Class, your training awaits!"
Nodding from your desk, also giving back a thumbs up, albeit less enthusiastic than All Might's, you watch your classmates leave you behind with your homeroom teacher. Kaminari and Ochako visibly looking worried for you as they turned around to follow All Might as well.
Now you're left alone with Mr. Aizawa, who tsked at you, probably with deserved disappointment, "I remember telling you to rest up for today, that you would need it. Guess, with you especially, i can actually run my mouth for nothing at all, huh?"
Right, he told you to rest. But how are you supposed to do so if all your head was filled with was ways of how you could fail him, how you could fail anybody that trusted you, which weren't all that many anymore to be honest. Not in NYC. Not after what happened.
"I couldn't...i really tried, but i couldn't." You meekly tell the tall man, knowing exactly that he now probably was back to thinking you're weak or something similar because you couldn't even manage to rest your body. So simple, yet sometimes so impossible.
"Maybe...ugh...i know that feeling..." He did? You're quite shocked as you heard those words, mouth opening to gesture said shock too as you tried to sit up more straight for your teacher. "You do?" "Why exactly did you think i sleep in class?"
Maybe because he was lazy? Because he wasn't exactly a fan of teaching? Or this school — you still thought those are the reasons as well. Anything but the idea that maybe he also sometimes also didn't get any sleep at night passed your thoughts. Once again, you realize that maybe you have judged a person too early. "I'm sorry, Mr. Aizawa..." You apologized out of reflex, without even knowing if he knew what you thought about him beforehand. "Stop fucking apologizing and start doing better. Then you won't have to constantly apologize for the stupid shit you do..."
Of course you were trying to do better, but it was hard when you constantly had the pressure from abroad on your shoulders. You didn't want to be abandoned but at the same time whenever you tried working for it not to happen, the fear basically ate you up.
"Now that we got a minute alone, did you at least manage to think about the offer?"
At the mention of the said offer from yesterday, you drove down your seat slightly, discomfort written onto your face as you look over to him, still standing in the doorway, probably not giving a flying fuck about where he now stood to talk to his student. "Don't give me such a look, i told you it's your choice. No matter how you choose, the end result would only haunt you." Right, haunt was the correct word for your fear.
It haunts you, to this day.
You didn't want to hurt Mr. Aizawa, he's just your teacher, he just offered you his — surely once in a lifetime — help. If it happened again, but now to him...you wouldn't be able to live with something like that a second time!
"I know... that's...not it." You mumble, feeling the difficulty of even thinking about that day. It all went so well before it happened. He was proud of you too, celebrated your milestones when your parents didn't even bat an eye at them. Mr. Aizawa eyed you with the intention of asking you of the 'why' right now, when he realized that you're still just about there to hold a conversation. Your energy left you rather quickly today, feeling the regret of getting out of bed before you even left your home. "Tell me about it while you eat, you're still my responsibility. If you collapse, it's my fault. Even if you don't get it done to sleep right."
At first you didn't know exactly what he wanted from you, if you should eat right here or not. Until he turned around, waving you after him. Silently nodding, even though he wouldn't even see it, you took your backpack after packing back up your utensils before you went after him, already with enough questions in your head to fill at least a whole school lesson. Both of you ended up two floors lower, on a floor you were formerly told by Present Mic himself that you shouldn't enter unless your current teacher had ordered you to. It was the floor for teachers only, so most likely with their break rooms, meeting rooms and the principals office... wasn't the principal of the UA a mouse? Or was he dog?
Maybe it also held the school's briefing room for emergencies? Did the UA have one like the school in NYC? They had to, the UA was far more advanced and clearly more heavily funded by the state and the agencies than NYC's even could be, no matter how grand your old one was. The UA is a whole different caliber. "Stop thinking about irrelevant stuff...I'm getting tired of holding the damn door open." Mr. Aizawa pulled you from your internal brain chatter as if he knew that being on said floor caused all kinds of theories to pop up in your brain.
"And don't you dare say 'I'm sorry'...i don't want to hear it. Just try to look less obvious when you're, for some special miracle, start using your head."
Giving him a quick 'Yes, sensei', clearly struggling to hold back the now forbidden two words as you squeeze past him into the room. As you take in the big lounge, your teacher quietly watches you instead...well, for a few seconds, "Go sit down at one of the couches, I'll be back in a few minutes...look lively in the meantime." He orders you before already having left you behind, taking the route back to the elevator. As his footsteps faded in the hallway, so did your questions you had been ready to ask him, making sure to try and remember them for later.
Not knowing what to do while he was gone, other than of course actually sitting down because he told you too, you stare into the pleasantly cooled air and try to analyze some of the furniture in the apparent teachers lounge.
How come that a break room for teachers has...has beanbags? You were very sure that most of the teacher at the UA are Pro Heroes, professionals in their careers. So what are beanbags doing in an equally professional school?
One of them practically screamed at you to sit in it, a black one with dark red and grey spots. Even if tired, mischief was never not an option for you. If sitting in a beanbag instead of on a couch as he told you to was actually mischief. Not giving it anymore care than you could offer, you switch your resting place from the couch to said beanbag. Immediately you felt your body sink into it, a delighted gasp leaving your lips. Beanbags are so...comfy~!
Comfy enough to forget that you probably should've stayed awake...
Mr. Aizawa surely didn't have you just suddenly napping in a teachers lounge in mind when he took you down here. Food, that was all of it. After that, he would probably let you write down some stupid text in exchange for not being able to join the battle training, all while he slept himself. It didn't take a minute for your eyes to fall shut and stay shut, your mouth just slightly hanging open as you began to softly snore and mumble incoherent garbage.
"I said 'lively' not 'roadkill'..." His deadpan voice ripped you from your all too gratifying nap time, not noticing the glare you automatically sent him instead. Thankfully he couldn't see that through the darker sunglasses of yours. "Here. Eat up..." He hands you a warm Styrofoam box that smelled botheringly familiar. Opening it, you realize why: It's the curry from the restaurant you sometimes went to if you forgot to buy food to cook yourself and the supermarkets had already closed.
Pulling your eyes off of surprisingly your favorite food from said favorite restaurant, you saw him flop down onto a chair nearby, eyeing you back, with his unreadable but probably simply tired dark eyes. "Only one box? Are you not going to eat?" You dared to speak the first words in the pressured silence of a student and her teacher being in such an unusual situation. You both didn't know how to talk with each other outside of class without sounding weird, at least it's what you thought when you watch the tall man turn even quieter than before.
"It's about you, you're the one who barely manages to take care of herself. Or am I getting the wrong impression from you wandering after me like a zombie just now?" Guilty as charged, you avert your lighter colored eyes, definitely too proud to openly tell him he was right. In these five months you struggled to keep up with yourself and your needs. You got by, sure, after all you're alive and not malnourished. And usually you also got a great night of sleep.
But whenever a certain memory once again returns to haunt you...you become a mess, physically and mentally.
So instead of immediately giving him the gratification of being absolutely spot on with the fact that you sometimes could barely keep yourself going, you rummage through your backpack to find something. "What are you doing now, just eat alr–" You hear him stop mid-sentence as pull out your bamboo and steel lunchbox, holding it out to him.
"So you had food already? Why didn't you just tell me that?" "I want to share, sensei, please. In exchange...for the offer." You tell him with some held back volume, you didn't want to weird him out. After all he's your teacher, of only two days now too. But you definitely didn't want him to go hungry while you ate the warm and fresh curry in front of him.
Mr. Aizawa's eyes, actually now fully open instead of looking like he was ready to nap himself once more, looked down to your place in the beanbag, surprise at your own offer written over his scruffy face. "You need it more, Kaneko." He still tried to insist until you simply put the lunchbox on his lap, accidentally touching his hand in the process. He had incredibly big and warm hands. "Plates, please." You request as innocent as you could when he was about to put the lunchbox back to your side, watching him stop in his track.
Shortly, he grunts at you thinking you could just "order" him around, until he made the mistake of looking back down to you, your mouth childishly in a pout. Usually he wouldn't give it a second thought, but for some reason, maybe because you didn't seem the type to usually pout — big mistake, you pout a lot if needed — it unfortunately worked on him.
"Fine." He only adds, putting the lunchbox onto the table he just sat at with the chair turned away from it, "But get your ass out from the beanbag and sit at the table like the goddamn adult you're supposed to become..."
Pulling yourself from your comfy former napping place, careful to not spill the curry, you groan at how difficult it actually was. But eventually you actually got up, placing the still hot curry also on the table alongside the lunchbox. Mr. Aizawa already came back with two plates and two sets of cutlery that he took from the small kitchen corner in the room, placing them down.
"You better talk now, no student has ever gotten this kinda treatment from me..."
He opened the lunchbox while he told you, pulling his eyebrows up at its contents.
"Salad? Did you make that?" He somewhat cautiously asked, giving you a glance from the side, pushing his grey scarf to the side. Why won't he just take it off instead? "Yeah...does it look bad?" Why would you care? At least you knew that it tastes good, after all you had some yesterday already.
"Well...no. It looks actually pretty...good, i guess." His voice sounded a bit odd...he probably isn't much used to saying something nice about anything from a student. He's probably very used to being disappointed. Or annoyed.
But nonetheless you felt like cherishing the oddly kind words from the stoic man, "Thank you, Mr. Aizawa!" It gave you back some small amounts of energy to smile up to him. Even while sitting, he was a lot taller than you.
"Yeah yeah...but, that's quite a lot of meat, isn't it?"
Oh right, you only ate two strips yesterday, believing foolishly that it would be enough to fill your reserves for today. Obviously that was a false belief. Obviously you were a stupid fucking idiot. "Because i only ate two yesterday... thought it was enough." "Wow...that's stupid."
Thanks for kindly confirming, Mr. Aizawa...
You ate partly quietly through your now shared meal, slowly feeling better bit by bit, bite by bite. Then he continued the actual topic of discussion. He wanted you to spill the beans, he knew...he probably thought your reaction to his offer was a bit off yesterday. "Usually students would tear themselves apart to get the chance of one on one tutoring from a pro hero..." He begins after eating one of the teriyaki beef strips. The ones he actually called "kinda tasty" a few minutes beforehand.
"What happened to make you react so... irritated... at my offer to get your quirk...s under control?"
How did he know that it was connected with your past? Why couldn't you just be the kid that didn't want any special help in his eyes? "I don't know what you mean...it just surprised me."
Trying your best to act like he wasn't itching the right spot, you continue chewing your curry and some of the salad as well, which he noted as "a grotesque mix of two foods" but he also said he could care less if you at least got something into your system, "Grip the fork any tighter and it'll bend." Shit.
"Talk. Now."
You shouldn't.
You can't.
But how else will you fulfill your parents wish? Or more...their ultimatum. Become worthy enough to carry the last name Kaneko or get legitimately disowned. You had not much of a choice. It wasn't even that maybe you didn't want to be hero. Of course you wanted to be one, the best of them all if possible — hardly, with your naturally self-destructive quirks. But you also never even had the second choice of trying to become something different in the first place. Even though they didn't believe in you from day one your quirks showed themselves, they still forced you down this path.
"How does a person stop fearing their own quirk?" You ask with your eyes staring blankly at your still half filled plate, no longer trying to hide your obvious discomfort with his offer. In the end, the fork lost the battle, bending under your shaking grip on it. As you got no reply from Mr. Aizawa in a total of at least five silent minutes, you had been sure than he was questioning how you managed to even get into the Academy in NYC, nonetheless the UA.
And sometimes you did too.
"By fighting them head on, just like any other fear." The sudden acknowledgment of your question let you jolt slightly, no longer having expected a serious answer from the Pro Hero. After all it must've sounded just so silly. Afraid...of your own quirk? It made you sound like a pussy, even in your own head. But he still gave you his answer, no matter how ridiculous your question must have been to him. "And by head on...i take it that you mean accepting your offer?"
He nods as he finished his own plate, eyes wandering to your own plate. He points a finger at it, nudging you with a shoulder. It felt surreal next to the serious topic you started minutes ago, but it also reminded you of where you are. "You should eat." He adds to his nudge and pointing finger as he took himself a small portion of the left over salad.
Choosing to not point out in front of him that he seemed to like it enough to actually eat more of it, simply in his favor, you do as you're told and continue eating the curry until the plate was empty and basically licked clean. It had been getting more cold now, but it was still so good.
"And yes, that's what i mean, the more you train your body for your quirk, the easier it theoretically should become for you to handle its drawbacks...and i offer you my help and knowledge for said training." He wanted to actually help you...you couldn't believe it at first, blinking at him dumbfounded, there had only been a handful of people in your life that actually meant or even gave you such heavy promises.
Surprise, surprise...your own family has never been a part of these people. The only way they "supported" you is with money and the "permission" to stay in Japan on your own until your graduated.
Even if your body told you too, you didn't shed even one tear, not even out of happiness, as you smile up at your new teacher and now mentor as well. You had your worries about him, especially since he gave you that offer so quickly without even fully knowing what expected him with you.
You still did have certain worries, but after the talk yesterday and now today as well, you felt like you could put your trust in him. Trust him to actually train you well and reach the peak of your quirks' performances. You wanted to trust him too...it had been so long you had someone that let you follow their path and learn of their words that only you got to hear. School itself never matched the one on one training sessions you had with...with him. With them.
"I don't...i-...T-thank you, Mr. Aizawa!" You almost flew from your chair as you jump up from it, bowing down slightly to show your gratitude. He gasps a bit taken back, never having expected a student with your type of feisty personality to show themselves so thankful. Nonetheless so quickly. You must've been desperate to find someone's help...but something clearly had been on your mind as well. Something that made you so defensive about it when he asked you yesterday.
As your teacher, he would find out what had you so afraid...even if it took it's time. He wasn't the kind to be impatient anyways. And at some point you would speak on your own, he was almost sure about that.
But at least she now wasn't as exhausted as before anymore, her enthusiastic behavior currently showing so. If he could see her eyes right now...were they hopeful? Did they believe in him, did she actually believe in him?
"It's alright, Kaneko. Just one rule as of now..."
You nod, sitting back down as you realized that you still had been standing up, almost falling on top of the unkempt looking teacher.
"Nobody can know you're getting trained by me. No student, no teacher, no parents. I always said that teachers shouldn't have students that they train personally, since it gave them an unfair advantage against the other students...but now that i have one on my own, I've broken my own rule."
Understanding where his concern comes from, food helping your brain work more normally again, you nod, "Of course, Mr. Aizawa, i won't tell anyone!"
Now having filled up your inner battery, Mr. Aizawa told you what you two had to do in exchange for you not being able to tag along to today's battle training. Which had been incidentally observing Class 1-A during their Battle Training!
Now chewing on some candy you bought yourself on your short break given by the Eraser Hero, you try your best to do as Mr. Aizawa told you to and analyse the fighting styles of each of your classmates. You would have to make notes similar to Midoriya's weird little books if you wanted to keep it all in your head...
"You better still be watching them closely, you'll need it soon enough. Believe me."
You'll need it? Did he mean Battles against each other? Or something else?
What did he know that you didn't?

911 lone star 4x05
it seems that the season is finally picking up, and this is my fave episode so far 😂
more thoughts and spoilers ahead!
jfc Rob Lowe is so good in comedic roles fr, I think that's why I enjoy Owen now, because he gets funny stuff 😂 that scene was so funny 😂
the boy calling about the math problem was so adorable, and Grace's reaction was even more adorable, she's so fucking cute I can't 😩😍😍 that smile with a nose scrunch??? 😍😍😍😍
"not a math whiz, just a math fan" SAME I love math, I miss it, why did I go study English at uni lmao
we should see more of the 911 dispatchers, like we do in the og - like, I'd love to at least learn like 3 names of something 🙄😂
ngl, I have no memory of this paramedic they're talking about 😂 (also, the music in this scene is kinda loud isn't it? like the drums or whatever? idk, it makes my head hurt lol)
waaait, I knew it was a more Marjan focused episode from the promo, but... someone complained about her to HR???? what the fuck about, she's a delight 😂
oh my god the lady from the mobile home?? over the word "crazy" when Marjan saved her life?? seriously?
we're focusing a lot on Linus, huh - I bet something bad is about to happen (clearly something's wrong with the mom, and I'm anxious waiting to see what haha)
jfc it was one stupid word, that people used to throw around at anything and anyone, jfc I don't wanna be one of those "why are people these days so sensitive" bitches but... she saved you life lady, leave her alone
I love seeing more Marjan but I feel so bad for her
I almost forgot about this dude since the beginning tbh, I'm enjoying this episode a lot haha - no idea what his deal is but it's stressing me out
I am loving getting more of the dispatch - if this is how this season continues, I might change my opinion about it (which is that this season is kinda whatever so far, but maybe just the first four episodes were bc this is good)
I kinda like Marjan and Owen's dynamic, this is fun (pls give me more Owen and TK tho, I miss them, and I'm always a sucker for a father son relationship 😂)
this couple is so ridiculous, jfc, Owen's right, how is that guy not in jail 😂 and they want her to post an apology for calling her "crazy"? and tag their gofundme? lady, you are fucking crazy 😂😂
they're blaming the fire department, aka people who rescued her life, for destroying their home??? that dude fucking took it - oh my god they're insane and it's infuriating but also kinda funny 😂
I love Grace and Judd and I missed them, we barely saw them the last couple of episodes haha (and Charlie is the most adorable baby 😍😍)
thank God for Grace and her instincts about what's happening, and that Judd nudged her to go over there right away
also, Tommy is amazing and I love her and her friendship with Grace
Paul "notices things" - I completely forgot about that because it hasn't been referenced since like s1 - pls give him an actual storyline that includes all aspects of him, including this superpower of his 😂
Paul and Marjan are one of my fave friendships, they're really ride or die's, I just love them (also, I just love the way Paul speaks if that makes sense? I'm weird about voices and cadence and pronunciation idk 😂)
sooo, Asha's sticking around, right? 😂 they wouldn't have her know Paul from way back when if they weren't starting something here right? 😂 I'm not complaining, pls give Paul a storyline, and if it's finally a good love interest, even better haha
I'm sorry, but making such a big deal over the word "crazy" is literally so ridiculous I can't help but laugh
nooo, don't tell me she's really leaving
I'm crying
not Nancy and Mateo being the parent friends 😭😂
like, she's not gone forever is she? I'm sure she'll be back eventually... right?
okay, promo: I am so excited for this bomber storyline, it seems more interesting than the first 4 episodes of the season (like, I loved the Carlos episode - 4x04 but like... eh)
so, I loved this episode, please tell me this is when the season picks up finally, I was finally engaged from the beginning until the end, and enjoyed all of it
I did miss Carlos, and he's my fave character, but also, like I mentioned a lot already, the tarlos storyline so far with Iris etc was so fucking boring and it took a lot of time in those first episodes (and it's crazy I'm even saying that because I always say to give Carlos all the screen time 😂) so it was nice to kinda have a break from them haha and I'm so glad we're over the whole FBI thing
now, I adore Grace and I loved her storyline this eps, it was great and interesting
I feel like Asha's gonna stick around and I'm excited if they're gonna do anything with her and Paul (or just fucking give Paul some more screen time ffs)
I loved that we got more of other dispatchers aside from Grace and please keep it up, I wanna know them like we know Josh and Sue and Linda, for them to be around you know? 😂
and Marjan.... I don't believe she left for good, and I don't wanna believe that, and I get her reasoning, because fuck those people, but also.... this was just so ridiculous, do people really get that offended over the word crazy? I know it's offensive or whatever but since when it's a slur? 😂
anyway, it was a great episode for Marjan, loved seeing her more and her struggle with this whole situation, and her and Owen actually have a great dynamic, wish we'd seen more of that (if they didn't give 90% of screen time to Owen alone 🙄 I like him but sometimes it's like.... there are people who are more interesting that I wanna find out about lol)
genuinely can't wait for the next one, and it's the first time this season I'm actually looking forward to the next episode, I hope it's gonna only get better now haha

Ice Cream troubles: (Solrin Angst and small insight to her 'before Berry' backstory)
*ੈ✩‧₊˚༺☆༻*ੈ✩‧₊˚─── ⋆⋅☆⋅⋆ ──*ੈ✩‧₊˚༺☆༻*ੈ✩‧₊˚
Emma: Solrin... You wanna talk about it?
*She sits down next to the bathtub and looks at Solrin*
Solrin: no... Yeah... Actually... *Wiping tears*
Solrin: Emma- am I too much?
Emma: ... What?
Solrin: am I too much? Like am I too loud? Or too emotional? Or too stubborn?... Like...
Emma: No?... You're not... At Least not to me...
Solrin: *puts a scoop of ice cream in her mouth*
Solrin: it's just... Me and Michael, we had an argument and-
Emma: *hugs her* oh... You can tell me everything if it'll help...
Solrin: thanks...
*Solrin sticks her spoon into the ice cream and puts the tub on the ground next to her in the bathtub*
Solrin: like... I know everyone goes through a bad time in their relationships, but fuck Emma... This hurts...
Solrin: what hurts more is, I've been in 3 past relationships last year, they were all short but they all said the same thing...
Emma: I'm guessing that it was that you're... 'Too much to handle'?... I'm sorry...
Solrin: *wipes some more tears and her voice gets cracky and softer*
Solrin: and Michael said that. Like yeah we were angry but fucking hell... It hurts even more because I've been holding back my own self since the beginning- like what do you mean im too intense? I'm literally masking my actual self just so I don't intimidate you! Like-
*she bursts into sobs. Holding onto Emma tightly for dear life, crying in her shoulder*
Solrin: I just want to be with someone who doesn't mind how I ACTUALLY am, Emma... Is that asking for too much?... I don't... Wanna keep repeating everything...
Emma: what do you mean?...
Solrin: in past relationships like you guessed, my partners would say "I'm too much"... So I'd slow down and be 'less'... Then they say I was "too boring" and dump me.
Emma: oh... That's horrible!... *Awkwardly pats Solrin's hair*
Emma: Solrin, I know it doesn't seem like it... But Michael wouldn't do that to you... I've heard how he talks to you, and I've seen how he looks at you... He wouldn't do that... But I also think you shouldn't make yourself 'less' just to keep someone.
Solrin: you're... So right... But... I just don't want to scare off the one person who I know genuinely likes me...
Emma: ... I'm not the best expert, but I think you should try and meet up and talk about it... Because I don't want to see you guys fall apart over an argument that was mostly full of words that weren't genuinely Meant...
Emma: but if you do, you can always come to me... And Caleb... And Maria... And everyone else we know... Okay?
Solrin: ... Alright... *Smiles slightly*
Solrin: thank you Emma.
Emma: it's fine, now let's get you out of here- you need a change of scenery!
Solrin: let me guess- you wanna walk around town with me?
Emma: yeah!
Solrin: alright alright... *She sighs but smiles brightly at her*
*Emma helps Solrin up after she gets the ice cream tub off the floor. After they both walk out the bathroom, Solrin puts the ice cream back into the freezer before they both leave the house and go into Ceder Cove*
(The End~ pt 2 with Michael's POV will come out soon!)

October 23 1996
Halloween was approaching quickly. Stu had been planing a Halloween party he'd be hosting soon. I wasn't the biggest fan of Halloween or party's but I agreed to come after a little convincing from Stu.
Stu, and I sat in my room. My door was locked, we weren't doing anything bad but anything I did with Stu always ended up in a punishment from my mom. My dad didn't care much he was happy I had finally found someone who loved me and wasn't annoyed by my anxiousness, but my mom on the other hand hated him. It's not that she thought he was a bad influence for me but more for Chloe. Chloe loved Stu to death but my mom wouldn't let her around him much. She thought that Stu would turn Chloe evil or something.
I heard a tiny knock on my door "y/n/n!" Chloe's high pitched voice came from the other side. "What is it chlo?" I ask "is Stu in there?" She asks. Chloe was extremely smart for an almost three year old. She could already speak in full sentence and didn't use nicknames for anything. "Yep" I replied "can I come in?" She asks "yeah sure" I say unlocking the door grabbing her up and locking the door back. I place her on the ground and she runs towards him "stewy!" She exclaims "hi chlo-chlo" he says as the small girl engulfed him in a hug.
I loved how much she loved him and how good he was with her. I was so happy she liked him. Stu grins as Chloe hands his a piece of paper. He unfolds the card to see a bunch of drawings of pumpkin. "Awe thanks chlo" he says. "Chloe! Where are you hunny!" My mom yells from down stairs "shit" I mutter and quickly grab her and and put her back out side.
"There you are chlo what are you doing?" I hear outside my door "I was talking to y/n!" She exclaims "y/n's here?" She asks jiggling at the door handle "yeah I'm here!" I replied "why is this door locked" she asks "Stu" I whispered pointing to my closet.
After Stu hides in the closet I unlock the door and open it it see my mom holding Chloe. "I was changing and I must have forgotten to unlocked it sorry" I mumbled "ok just don't do it again" she says as she starts to walk off. I close the door and lock it again. "Stu you can-" Stu cuts me off with a kiss to my forehead. "Love you" he mumbles into my skin "love you too" I reply. Stu picks me up and drops me down on my bed and the lays down next to me. He turns on his side towards me "god your beautiful" Stu mumbles as he presses a kiss to my lips. "So" kiss "fucking" kiss "beautiful" kiss. I smile and blush, Stu grabs at my waist and pulls me onto him so I'm straddling his waist. He pulls me down so he can kiss me. The kiss heated enough for him to start unbuttoning my jeans "baby is this ok?" He asks I nod "verbal consent babe" he says pulling away from the kiss "yes- fuck please Stu" I gasp as he flips us around so he's on top.
He starts to pull down my jeans, and starts to pull my shirt over my head. Stu leans down and starts to suck on my neck leave hickeys and love bites all over my neck. "Stu my moms gonna kill me" i mutter "forget your mom I wanna make you feel good" he mumbles into my neck. I moan as he begins to pull my panties down and rub small circles into my clit. "Holy- fuck Stu" I moan "that feel good baby?" He asks "mh- ah fuck" I groan. "I'll take that as a yes" Stu says giving me his signature grin. Stu leans down and attaches his mouth to my clit "holy shit" I moan as he sticks two fingers into me. "Shit stu right there" I cry out "fuck, fuck I'm gonna cum" I moan. Stu pulls his fingers out. I frown "stu" I groan "not now babe" he says unbuttoning his pants. He pulls down his pants and boxers down in one swift movement. He climbs on top of me "y/n! Are you alright in there!" I hear my mom yell "shit" I mumbled "y-yeah" I say as stu begun to push into me. "Fuckk" I moan.
"Are you sure?" She asks "yep I'm- shit fine" I reply "o-ok" she says I could hear the confusion in her voice. "Well we're going to grandmas in twenty minutes" she says "do you think we can finish this in twenty minutes?" Stu asks "I dunno I still gotta pack" I mumbled. Stu pulls out and frowns "why?" He asks "my grandma lives in Arizona, so we're gonna stay the night" I say. Stu starts to pull his pants. "Call me ok?" He says pressing a kiss on my cheek "I love you, I'll see you in a few days"I mumbled "I love you too" he says. I pull my panties and pants back up. "You've gotta go" I say wrapping my arms around him. "Love you" he says pressing one last kiss on my forehead before he leaves.
-♪♪♪-
After a 10 hour ride we finally made it to my grandmas. I hated being away from Stu and our friends. It was a 20 hour ride to and from so we had to stay the night even though we were just there for a visit, that would normally maybe be a couple hours if she lived closer.
"Hi gran!" I say hugging her. "Hi hunny how are you doing" she says kissing my cheek "I'm doing good" I reply smiling. "How's California doing you? You have any new friends?" She asks "yeah" I smile "a bunch actually" I add "that's good I'm so glad" she says. "She's got a boyfriend too" my dad says grinning my mom rolls her eyes "oh really now? What's his name?" She asks "Stu" I smile "awe do you got any pictures?" She asks "yeah" I say pulling a small one I kept in my pocket and hand it to her. "He looks cute" she grins "he's a trouble maker" my mom mutters. "He's a sweet boy" my dad says "I've actually got to go call him" I say sprinting into her house.
I dial the number I've grown to know by heart. It rings for a couple seconds before he answer. "Hello?" He asks "hey Stu" I sit down on the couch beside the phone. "Hi sweetheart how are you doin?" He asks "good. I miss you" i mumbled "I miss you too. Maybe we can finish what we started when you come back?" I could practically hear his stupid grin through the phone. I roll my eyes "maybe" I say "you think you can come over once I get back?" I ask "yeah totally. I've actually got to go my moms dragging to the grocery store. I Love you" he says "I love you too" I replied before hanging up the phone.
"You already think you love him?" My mom Scoffs as she walks inside. It always felt like a knife stabbing me in the stomach when she said stuff like that. My dad liked him why couldn't she. It's not like she didn't marry someone who acts exactly like Stu. "Mom can we not do this right now?" I plead, my grandma walks in carrying Chloe "what's wrong?" She asks "she just doesn't like him and I don't understand why" I say tears welling up in my eyes. "Dad likes him why can't you?" I ask. "He's a bad influence y/n you'll understand when your older" she says.
"Oh y/n" my grandma sits next to me rubbing at my back. "I like Stewy" Chloe mumbles smiling. "What?! I thought I said not to talk to him chlo?" My mom says "he's nice?" Chloe says her smile turning into a frown. "You see he's already corrupted your little sister? Do you really want him ruining your sister like that?" She asks. I couldn't take it anymore so I got up and went to the room I would be staying in. I slammed the door and locked it. Tears fell down my face. Why couldn't she like him, he loved me unlike my other boyfriends that she liked. Did she want me to just suffer?
"Y/n?" I hear my dad on the other side of the room. "Open the door can I talk to you" I get up and walk slowly to the door and unlock it. He opens the door and engulfs me in a hug. "Why is she like that?" I sob "she never wants me to be happy dad" I mumbled into his chest "I'm happy with him, he loves me, I love him. Why is that so bad?" I ask. "I dunno y/n. How bout you come back in the living room?" My dad asks. I mumble a 'sure' and we go back into the living room. "I just don't understand why she can't be with Justin again he was a lovely guy" my mom says as we walk in.
"Except for the fact that he didn't love me" i mutter as I sit back down. "What?" She asks "he was cheating on me the whole fucking time!" My mom covers Chloe's ears "you see this is what I'm talking about! This vulgar language your using now! You didn't say things like that before!" She yells "and especially around Chloe. What if she starts repeating what you say. Then it will be all your fault" my breathing became heavy and tears began to fall down my cheek faster and faster. It felt like I could barely breathe. "Aw y/n" my grandma grabs at my hand "don't baby her she's just being crazy" my mom rolls her eyes. "Come on don't be like that" my dad mumbles as he kneels down in front of me. "Are you ok?" He asks I nod "how bout we take you to your room" my dad says grabbing my hand and Leading me to the room.
I sit down on the bed finally noticing the phone on the bed side table. I grab the phone and dial Stu's number. I hoped he was home I really needed to talk to him. It rings a couple time and he answers "hello?" He asks "hey" I sniffled "hey what's up? Why are you crying?" He asks "she called me crazy for having a panic attack Stu" I cry "sweetheart I'm sorry do you want me to stay on the phone with you?" He asks "yes please" I mumbled. "I wish I could come home now. I miss you" I cry "I miss you too" he says. "Don't cry honey" he mumbles "I love you" I mumbled "I love you too."

DEAR SHUTTLE (2/?) [Wolf Keum x Reader]
Tumblr media
Summary: Some people have good luck, some people have bad luck, and some people run into Wolf Keum after breaking his motorcycle. [Weak Hero fanfiction: Wolf Keum X Reader]
Genre: Romance, Slice-of-Life, Humor
Tumblr media
Luckily, the journey there isn't very far. About two streets later, they take a right turn into what appears to be an outdoor chicken and bar eatery. When they're not paying attention, you jerk away from their grasp.
"Geez, finally."
You shoot them a glare, annoyed as all hell when they joke about you being "a feisty one."
You stick out your hand with your palm upturned. "Give me back my map, now."
The one with the map taps his back pocket.
"Oh, this right here? You can have it after we get the food!" He pauses when you glower at him. "Come'on babe, don't be such a joykill." He lowers his voice a tad, "You're making a commotion." He jabs a thumb over his shoulder and true to his word, there are plenty of eyes (belonging mostly to older, scarier looking men) scanning you up and down.
You make a face and wrap your arms around yourself.
He grins at your reaction. "Of course, we could just leave you here right now. But do you really want that, cutie?"
Pursing your lips, you look around for an escape but there are none. Where the fuck was this place anyways? Some kind of dingy back-alley dive bar for wannabe gangsters?
One of the boys pressures you into a seat and you take it begrudgingly, somewhat relieved to see that some of the stares were fading as they realized you were with another group.
The dusk quickly fades into evening as orders are placed and food is served.
The sun has long since disappeared behind buildings, leaving the city shrouded in shadows, illuminated only with streetlights and passing cars.
The boys have somehow gotten their hands on alcohol and are jabbering loudly now, slamming the table and spilling drinks everywhere.
"See, and that's when I told her she's a fuckin' bitch! Just a little tryhard who thinks playing hard to get makes you easier to want! Bwahahaha!" Map boy slams his fist onto the table beside you and the other two join him with raucous laughter, clearly just as drunk as him.
"Fuck her!" "Ugly wench!"
You flinch away from him when he slings an arm over your shoulder, leaning heavily into you.
"Lucky us, we found someone hotter than that shitty slut." He reeks of alcohol and his breath stings at your ear when he whispers into it, "You wanna have some fun with us, right cutie?"
You stare hard at the cup of water in front of you and clench your hands under the table. As much as you wanted to put a dent in his face right now, it was going to be okay. You'd just wait for the wait staff to come over so you could ask for a phone and call a taxi. It was fine.
You told yourself this, but even after another ten minutes the wait staff hadn't shown. In fact, the last you saw them was while they were dropping off the food—and with the crowd this place drew, you weren't surprised why.
Alright, enough is enough. Map or not, you're out of here.
You stand up. "Okay. Fun's over now guys. You can keep the map if you want, I'm leaving."
You grab your bag and begin to walk away when Map boy snags you by the arm, lips twisting into an ugly snarl.
"Hey, I'm the one who decides when you can leave. Sit the fuck down."
You give him an incredulous look and tear away from him, growing uneasy with the attention he was drawing. "Fuck off, loser. Don't touch me again."
You manage to take two steps forward before he grabs at you again with enough force to bruise, nearly throwing himself in your face, spit flying as he screams: "Loser? Do you even know how badly I could fuck you up right now? Say that shit again, I dare you!" He winds a fist backwards and your eyes widen with the realization of what he was attempting.
Adrenaline pumps through your body as his fist approaches in slow motion. Body reacting faster than your mind, you give him a hard shove and send him flying off balance.
He stumbles backwards and throws his hands out, narrowly missing you and grabbing at tables and chairs to regain his balance.
Instead of regaining footing, he sends everything hurtling down with him. He falls gracelessly into a pile of trash, cutlery flying everywhere, tables and chairs upturned—and suddenly a loud crash is heard.
You flinch at the noise and realize he also fell onto a parked motorcycle, toppling it and splintering the glass, denting the frame horribly. He yanks his hand up and examines the cuts on his palm, face growing red with anger.
"ARGH, this is all YOUR fault! You better fucking hope I don't get over there before you start running!"
People begin to form a circle around the scene, including his two lackeys who help him off the floor.
You search the gathering crowd nervously, looking for an opening. No one seemed too happy you had interrupted their meal, and you doubted you'd get sympathy from them especially if they were anything like the boys you came with. Fuck.
You take a few cautious steps backwards, fear replacing adrenaline. "H-Hey... You were the one grabbing at me! I already told you I'm not interested!"
You watch as he stands, continuing to back away slowly. Hoping and praying that someone would take pity on you and let you out of the ring.
Your back collides with something sturdy and you've officially reached the boundary of the circle.
Fuck, fuck, fuck, fuck, fuck!
You look up frantically, a pleading look fixed on your face. "Please, I don't even know where I am, I'm lost and I just want to go home-"
You stop short when you realize the person you backed into hasn't even bothered to look at you.
A shiver shoots up your spine and your blood runs to ice on the spot.
Purple hair and a Ganghak blazer. His gaze, hidden behind glasses, is fixed upon the motorcycle and the poor son of a bitch who pushed it over.
You swallow thickly, eyes wide, body trembling, staring like a deer in headlights.
"Holy fuck it's him" people in the audience whisper, "it's motherfucking Wolf Keum."
He places a large hand on your shoulder and moves you without sparing you as much as a glance.
"O-Oh," You stumble out of the way, legs feeling like jelly. "I'm sorry, sorry."
He ignores you and removes his glasses, tucking them into his blazer.
The way he approaches Map boy can't be described as anything other than predatory.
"W-Wolf Keum!" Map boy sputters while backing away, suddenly sober, "Wha- Whaddya looking at me like that for? Is that your girl I was talking to? I swear I didn't know, I swear I didn't! Or I wouldn't have even looked at her! We were just having a chat, is all. A friendly chat!"
There's a crunching noise.
The overbearing aura rolling off Wolf is tenfold as strong now. Slowly, Map boy picks up his foot and looks down at the motorcycle rearview mirror under his shoe. His face grows pale.
"Oh fuck. Oh shit, I'm so sorry, I'm so sorry! I'll pay you back, I have the money! I promise, please—!"
A sickening crack is heard and Map boy is on the ground faster than you can blink. A few grown men around you bite their knuckles and look away. But Wolf isn't done yet.
Wolf picks him up off the cement and holds him at face-level, another fist winded back. You can't see Wolf's expression with his back to you, but you're practically pissing your pants anyways.
"I'm showwy..." Map boy garbles, jaw loose and lips burst, "I'm showwy..."
CRACK.
"Shut the fuck up."
WHACK.
Holy shit.
WHACK. WHACK. WHACK.
Holy shit.
This was exactly the crap you did NOT want to deal with, and apparently, you weren't the only one thinking this.
A few (previously) macho spectators departed, muttering "fuck, let's get the hell outta here" as they scurry away. Unsurprisingly, Map boy's two henchmen are nowhere to be seen either. Your limbs are slowly thawing out of their petrified state and you're starting to think walking away is the next best option to evaporating into the air.
Unfortunately, right when you get the courage to start creeping away Wolf drops his swollen and unconscious victim on the ground with a splat. You freeze immediately.
He looks over his shoulder at you. His lavender hair is askew and his pale skin is speckled with drying blood.
"Where the fuck do you think you're going?"
You had no clue either, but pretty much anywhere but here was good. You'd even take the park bench just about now.
"You think you can wreck my belongings," He takes a step. "Ruin my night," Another step. "And drag this piece of shit in front of me, and just walk away?" He gives Map boy a kick to the ribs and you flinch at the sudden movement. There's a glimmer in Wolf's eyes, something you can't quite place but fear just the same.
The small number of onlookers dwindled down to zero as soon as Wolf dropped the body, leaving only you and him in a hushed and empty street.
He stops an arms width away. You have to crane your head up to meet his eyes and it is only now you realize they are hazel.
"Well? What's your excuse?"
Your jaw is locked in fear. You can't stop thinking about the sounds of bone splintering inside skin. You can't stop worrying how you might get a fist to your face any second. You can't stop thinking about his name, his hair, his stare. Wolf Keum, the whispers of strangers echo in your head, it's motherfucking Wolf Keum.
Still, you know what's led you here today: a series of bad mistakes that led to an even worse night. If he was going to beat the crud out of you, you might as well be truthful while he was at it.
You brace yourself and squeeze your eyes shut, words tumbling out of your mouth in one very long and very rushed jumble of words:
"I don't have an excuse! I'm sorry, I'm the one who broke your bike. I pushed him into it, but even though you beat the shit out of him I don't feel bad for him. If you do the same to me now, I'll still feel justified knowing he got his share of karma as well, and it'd be worth it!"
You suck in a breath and tense your shoulders.
A few moments pass.
Nothing.
Huh? You crack an eye open and notice he's just staring at you poker-faced. His glasses are back on, and you assume he might've slipped them on while you were monologuing in lala land.
Wolf turns off to the side and his mouth stretches out into a wide yawn, almost offending you with his bold expression of disinterest in your heartfelt confession. He turns back to you and tilts his head, peering at you through his bottom lashes.
"Justice? Karma? Who do you think I am, a fucking superhero?"
He sticks his hands in his pockets and lowers himself to your height. "I don't give a shit about you or your karma. I'm Wolf fucking Keum." A wry smile twists itself onto his lips and you feel your heart drop into your stomach. "And the next time I see you, you'll regret it."
He retracts his hand from his pocket and pulls out a cigarette. He places it between his lips.
"Go."
You've never run faster in your entire life.

Nothin’ On You // Sero x Shy!Reader
Tumblr media
A/N: Kinda long! But I owe Sero for taking so long on finishing this! Hope you like it! ^^
The first time you meet is for a school project
In middle school he was the cool guy that got along with pretty much everyone. At first you would hide away, which was easy with a quirk like yours. You would turn translucent and mute according to your mood, so every time you tried to muster up the courage to talk to him when he passed you by in the halls, you would completely disappear. It was a game of chance to see who was paired with who when the fated project came up, but when you were paired with Sero you almost entirely disappeared off of the face of the earth. You begin to wonder if you could escape class without being noticed when he makes his way over and plops down in the seat next to you.
"Name's Hanta Sero, what's yours?"
Your face flushes, body turning translucent for a split second before you take his hand and shake it. "It's..." Your voice fails you. Of course it had to happen now. Your quirk just had to be a two-in-one kind of deal.
Lifting a finger, you scribble your name down on a loose piece of paper and offer it to him.
He looks at the scrap of paper with curiosity. “Cute name.” He looks back to you. “Is that your quirk? The..?” He motions to his body and mouth.
You nod sagely.
He beams. "Nice to meet you."
The tension in your shoulders lessen. Grabbing your textbook and one of your notebooks made for this type of situation, you write down several questions before pointing to the textbook pages.
He reads each message, surprisingly more patient with your quirk than others. Some expected you to push past it or get over your shyness, but he went with it. It made you feel.. valid. Like your quirk wasn't a burden.
“Sounds like we'll be having a few all nighters on this one, Mr. Takeshi expects waaay too much of us if he wants this done in a week.” Sero looks at you curiously. “What do you think? We could do it at one of those 24/7 cafes nearby.”
Feeling yourself relaxing, you realize you've returned to being opaque as you nod in agreement. "Sounds like a plan."
His smile brightens. "Hey, your voice is pretty cute too chica!"
This time you're glad you disappear from sight, hands covering your mouth as he laughs heartily.
The project was an odd success
After your initial shock and shyness of being paired up with Sero, you both were a rather successful couple when it came to academics. You split the work equally and helped each other when either of you needed it. While he wasn't always the brightest, he always managed to put a smile on your face when you were studying long into the night, when your eyelids grew too heavy and your will to study lessened. When the day of the presentation came and you both took to the front of the class, it was his support that kept you from disappearing out of fright. However, now that it was over, you were surprised he still wanted to hang out with you, even if it wasn't required anymore.
“Oi, chiquita bonita! Over here!” Sero waves to you from across the classroom. He was sitting in his normal spot with his usual clique, and normally you didn't mix with them. They seemed nice, but it was always awkward when you joined him. You felt like they only tolerated you because of him.
Gathering your items, you shuffle out of your desk space and join him, blushing slightly as he scoots his seat to the side to make space for you right next to him. You could feel the burning stares of the girls surrounding him. You held on though, focusing on staying opaque, knowing he would try getting to the bottom of why you were nervous. Oh if only he knew how hated you were by his clique of girls.
“We did pretty good on the presentation didn't we?” He asks while draping an arm across the back of your chair, his body completely at ease. “Even the cabrón was impressed.”
You smack him lightly on the back of his head. You didn't know a lot of spanish, if at all, but you picked up some slang from the boy next to you. “Don't be mean Hanta, he's not all that bad.”
The girls’ hiss at your action, but Sero only laughs and tugs you closer under his arm. “Lo siento cariño. I'm sorry, but it's not my fault he has a stick up there.” He gestures upward with his middle finger.
You knew if you tried speaking, your voice would have fizzled out like a drop of water on a hot stove.
After the project you two were nearly inseparable, everyone knew you and Sero were an item (even if you both didn't see it)
“Dios mio! What did we do to earn this princesa?”
You turn around to the source of the voice, pausing on decorating the stage of the auditorium. It was Sero, you could tell immediately by his voice, but what you didn't understand was the context of his words. What was he talking about?
The confusion must have shown on your face as he moves closer and climbs onto the stage, walking up to you until he was by your side. “You're all dolled up. What's the occasion?” He holds you by the shoulders and peers behind you as well, earning a pinch on his cheek.
“It's the dance this week, remember? But the play is before, so we have to set up so it's all ready for the night. That means dress rehearsals too.” You were a part of the theatre group, an odd choice for someone who disappears when they get stage fright, but you were heavily invested in what you did. It was a passion you indulged.
“Aye, yeah I forgot about that.” Sero rubs his neck and looks at the ground, deep in thought. At least for two minutes. After the two minutes he peeks at you with a mischievous grin. ”Wanna go to the dance with me?”
To your credit, you manage to stay opaque while your heart beats wildly in its cage. “Thats a dumb way of asking me out.” You mutter while sliding down from the stage, nearly cutting yourself on one of the loose planks.
“¡Cuidado!” He holds his arms out, ready to help you down. “I don't want my date to get hurt you know?”
“I can still dance in a cast.” You brush off his concern with a rare smile. Crushes aside, you appreciated his friendship and concern.
“The fuck is this, Romeo and Juliet? Get a room!” A classmate yells from the lighting stage, laughing when you flip them the bird.
Sero joins in the laughter, leaving soon after apologizing to your classmate. Said classmate meets you in front of the stage, arms crossed and looking back and forth between you and the now closed auditorium door.
“So are you guys dating now?”
“No, we're just friends.” You rub your neck, feeling the translucency crawl up your neck. But it couldn't wipe away the smile on your face.
You gravitate towards each other
Stretching your arms in front of you, you twist your body to the right and sigh as you feel a pop. You didn't particularly like gym class but it was nice to get a good stretch.
Looking around at the field in front of you, you wave at the occasional friendly face. You had friends in this class, which made it even more bearable.
"Hola princesa!"
Sero?
Turning around you grin at the familiar face. You run to the fence blocking you in, gripping it as you watch your friend run to you. He holds your hand through the fence, a normal occurance and a habit you've grown fond of.
"What are you doing here?" You question while turning your hand in order to squeeze his, heart fluttering when you see the small tinge of pink on his cheeks.
"Just here to say hi. My next class is in E block." He peers over your shoulder. You were about the same height, somewhere around 5'4, so you relished being able to see him eye to eye (mostly) while it lasted. He grew a bit over the break of your first year. "Playing anything?"
"Volleyball." You shiver. "I'm team captain, but I suck at it." Who would you pick? Would you actually be a good leader? You feel your voice leave you as you begin to rival that of an onion skin, growing more and more invisible.
A small pinch on the back of your hand pulls you back to reality. Sero waggles a finger, tisking at you. "Don't sweat it, you'll do great." He squeezes your hand before backing up, walking backwards as he heads to class. "Just breathe princesa!"
"Got it." You whisper to yourself, waving to him as you watch him enter the building across from you.
Sadly by the end of your second year, he had grown taller, leaving you craning your neck to look at him.
When he entered U.A. you still cheered him on
Graduating middle school was tough when you split off into different schools. You knew you would keep in contact, but it was so much harder to spend time together when you didnt attend the same schools. Still, with each video chat and phone call, with each text, you showered him with all your love and support. He wanted to be a hero, and you were happy to support him with that dream!
You: Saw you on the tv, you were amazing!
Sero: thanks 😙 still lost tho 😅😅😁😁
You: Yeaaah🤔 but you still looked really cool! Still, didn't realize you were strong enough to pull that Todoroki guy that way 🧐
Sero: Im just full of surprises princesa 😘
Sero mentioned you often to his friends
You were mentioned in at least one conversation a day, it didn't matter the context, you just sort of popped up. What could he say, he loved you! You were his go to for support and someone he truly valued. Plus you weren't crazy like his classmates.
“You keep talking about her but we've never actually seen her.” Mina leans forward on her palm as she sips at her milk tea. “You're not lying about her are you?” She wiggles her eyebrows, eliciting a laugh from Sero.
“Course she's real.”
Kirishima lays his head on the table of the booth they were at, looking at Sero with confusion. “Got proof? It’s not manly to lie to your friends bro.” Sure he believed in his friend, but after a year of just hearing about a special girl, it was hard to keep believing without some form of proof.
Sero holds up a finger as he pulls out his phone. Placing it flat on the table, he pushes the power button and watches his friends faces light up as they view his lock screen. It was a picture of you.
“Woah! Who's the hot chick?” Kaminari asks excitedly as he returns from the bathroom. “Is she single?”
Sero powers off his phone before smacking a piece of tape on his friend’s mouth, surprisingly feeling a twinge of anger at his words. You were his best friend! He had to protect you!
On the inside he knew his anger was from deeper feelings, but for now it was just from the fact that he may need to defend your innocence from his own schoolmate. You were so shy, he knew Kaminari’s flirting would be too much for you.
“Yeah, no cabrón. She's taken.”
You were there for his graduation
Needless to say, you were at his graduation! It was difficult to find him amidst the crowds of families wanting to take pictures of their children and siblings, and even some heroes wanting to say their goodbyes! You were absolutely bombarded and neigh invisible after overthinking the whole thing, so when you finally found him you were stunned into invisibility when his friends jumped you.
“Ohmygodohmygodit'sactuallyyouuuuuu!” Mina screams as she pulls you into her, squeezing the life out of you before you can get a breath out.
The boys were much gentler, but just as excited. Especially Kaminari.
“Hey it’s the hot girl- more like the gone girl, what's happening?” He questions as you disappear from sight, your voice completely AWOL.
Sero smacks his face as he curses his friends out. “Chingues! Give my girl some space hijos de perras!”
Mina gives you enough space to breathe but holds you much like one would a hostage. For a hero course student, you believed that she would have done very well as a villain.
“Nope! We get to meet this girl of yours, Tape Boy!” She looks down at you, squinting to try making out where your face would be, unknowingly glaring directly at you. “He talks about you almost nonstop yet you haven't visited us at all, how unfair is that?” Mina grins.
You come into focus, your voice a mere squeak as you brush some hair out of your face. “A little? I should've visited..” You introduce yourself to his cadre, your name stumbling off your lips.
“Hot and shy? What a cutie!” Kaminari hugs you from your available side where Mina wasn't holding you in a headlock.
A whip of tape smacks the blonde and sends him reeling back to Sero who holds him in a similar hold Mina was holding you.
Your friend ruffles Kaminari's hair in a somewhat violent manner, grinning at him with threatening eyes. "Go easy on her cabrón. She's not used to so many people doting on her."
They were doting on you? You tilt your head and look at Mina who was still examining you. "I don't think I deserve to be doted on, that's not what's going on here right?"
"Of course not, but you and I are gonna have some girl time while the boys get us a spot at a restaurant! You're gonna tell us all about how you and Tape Boy here met!" She chirps excitedly, pulling Bakugou in with her free arm as he tries escaping past her.
You feel a drop of sweat as you accept your fate, watching Bakugou attempt to wrangle his way to freedom. "Sure, sounds nice."
Sero made it rather big as a hero, see, he wasn't the strongest hero but he was very popular
He had always been popular, so it made sense to you when his ranking kept going up and up until he was in the high twenties. You knew he was good at what he did, being a source of smiles even in dark times, but it always brightened your day when you heard your coworkers mention him in passing.
“Have you heard about the hero Cellophane yet?”
“Yeah! I think I saw him around yesterday. He was eating soba with Shoto.”
You look backwards to see the faces of your junior coworkers. They were in a different department than you, but you enjoyed chatting with them every now and then. Mostly when it came to heroes as you had somewhat of an insiders look.
Had you forgotten to mention you were friends with Sero- Cellophane?
You debated whether to tell them over tea one day until you heard their next words.
“He’s kind of hot isn't he?”
... Maybe you would keep the secret to yourself.
As a hero he makes time to drop into your life, sometimes randomly
What else was to be said? Really?
A blur flashes by your face, causing you to yelp in shock, stepping back and nearly falling onto the unforgiving pavement. Luckily, said blur created a swing of tape just in time to catch you, pulling you forward and bringing you into his arms.
“Lo siento mi corazón! I didn't mean to make you fall.”  Sero grins at you, his arm wrapped securely around your waist. He definitely meant to make you fall, you could see the mischief behind his eyes.
“As if Hanta.” You pinch him on the cheek, a smile coming to your face when he whines. “Look I’m happy to see you but I've got to get to work on time today, no funny business.”
“No funny business?” He repeats after you, rubbing his chin in thought. “Then I guess I’ll have to escort you to make sure you get to work on time.”
Your eyes widen as you feel his hold grow tighter and more secure as he holds you flush against him. Oh no. “Wait Sero-!”
And just like that, you were in the air, swinging from building to building with him propelling you both forward. You attempt to scream at him but your voice is lost along the way as you hear the clicking of cameras.
Oh god they were taking pictures.
“Niña don't worry! We’re almost there!”
Luckily for you, you were never caught on camera. So your quirk did have some uses.
The media was sure he had a partner
The photos really ended up getting him in hot water as every interview he did, the topic of romance was brought up. Fans would notice he would avoid the topic of love, but on his social media he would constantly mention a girl. No one knew who this girl was, but fans and news stations were determined to wring it out of him.
Once the red light of the on-air button was out, the reporter in front of Sero swiftly covers the mic pinned to her lapel and scoots to the edge of her seat. Sero watches in quiet amusement as the whole station becomes silent. Weird. But he knew why they grew quiet so fast. They wanted information, and if even the news anchor waiting for his time to come up stopped his boisterous laughter, it must've been important.
“Off the record. Do you have a secret sweetheart stashed away somewhere Cellophane?”
Oh. This again.
He stretches his arms in front of him as he runs through his normal excuses and dodges for this question. All still viable and working, but.. Maybe he could give a little hint. The media was on his ass about this after those photos were taken of him and his girl, so it was only right to clear the air right?
“Turn on the cameras. I’ll give this to you.”
You were crushed when he admitted he did have a sweetheart (of sorts) and even more so when the media suspected it to be the Stealth Hero: Invisible Girl
The media did end up getting a bit of info out of him  and when you heard about this special girl your heart couldn't help but crack under the thought of him distancing himself from you to be with her. You treasured your friendship with him, romantic or not, you didn't want it to end. Because of this fear, you are the one who starts to close yourself off.
“Chiquita, what's wrong?” Sero follows you as you make your way to the kitchen, a bowl of chocolate coated pretzels in your arms. “Are you sick? I can stop by the pharmacy for you.”
“N-No, its okay. I'm not sick..” You back up when you see his arm stretched outward, flinching when the back of his hand meets your forehead.
He hums. “No fever.”
You push past him, abandoning the bowl of chocolatey treats on the counter. You felt yourself becoming frustrated. Not with him, but with yourself. His opinion meant the world to you- he was your best friend! And you were letting this relationship of his get to you. How petty could you be? He did nothing wrong. In fact, you should be happy for him, finally dating his high school sweetheart.
But the thought of him dating Invisible Girl- the irony of him dating an invisible girl- was just too much for your heart to take at the moment.
You had no way to take out this frustration. So it was reflected onto him.
“Cariño-”
“Please!” You slam your hands on the counter, voice fading in and out as you hide your face in the collar of your turtleneck. “Please.. Just go.”
The apartment was quiet, filled with only your ragged breathing as you hold in your rampant emotions. When he leaves with a silent goodbye, you're unsure if the breaking sound surrounding you is just in your head or if something truly reached into you and tore your heart to pieces.
He makes it very clear who that sweetheart is
Finally, he announces just who captured his heart. It was live on a jumbo screen, playing as you were out getting “groceries” for the nights dinner.
The hollow feeling in your chest wasn't easing, and it definitely wasn't made any better when you saw the Stealth Hero on the television next to her team. Though your calves were certainly doing better with how much speed walking you would do when you passed by convenience stores with tabloids lining their windows, photos of Sero and Invisible Girl on the front.
Work went by dreadfully slow, and lunch went by just as uneventfully as usual. You ignored the chatter of your coworkers, uninterested in what they had to say.
After the report came out, no one was talking about the top heroes anymore. They all were focused on the potential lovers and what other secret admiring the heroes had in their ranks. If other heroes were hiding their own affairs. If the popular Cellophane could hide his romance, maybe someone like Deku or Shoto could be too.
“We’re going out for drinks later, want to come with?” Your junior asks as she slings her purse strap over her shoulder. “Jin is paying~”
You respond with a polite smile. “No thanks. I’m going straight home.”
- - -
Going straight home was the plan, but in the end you had to make a quick trip to the nearest grocery store for dinner. Something quick, as you didn't have the energy to make something complicated.
Which meant you ended up buying only instant ramen.
It was on your way back, crossing a busy sector when the sound of your friend on the jumbo screen caught your attention.
“She's my corazón. Mi vida.”
You look up at the screen, stopping in your tracks.
Sero was blushing, a shy smile on his face, but his eyes were lit up with joy. You heart pulses rapidly in your chest, a blush creeping up your cheeks. You had never seen him so flustered, it was always the other way around.
“I’ve loved her since middle school. I never wanted to drag her into this, so I never confirmed her name- but its not Invisible Girl!” He amends quickly, looking at the reporter with a knowing look. He wags his finger, his infamous cocky smile replacing the twitterpated look from earlier.
“Sure, she has a similar quirk, which is how those photos came to be.” He leans back in his chair.
“You want to know her name right? I guess it wouldn't hurt to say. I’ve kept it hidden for so long, but here it is.”
And then he said it.
He said your name.
Looking directly at the screen, he smiles gently, eyes full of the warmth you've been craving ever since you were paired for that project years ago.
“Ella es mi tesoro. She is my treasure.”
Extra:
Racing home, you're not surprised when you find the lights on in your apartment. In fact, it only spurs you forward.
Yanking open the unlocked door, you drop your groceries and launch yourself into Sero’s arms as he held them open for a hug.
He was sweaty from rushing from the news station to your apartment, but neither of you were concerned about it as you laugh. You laugh at the tape still clinging to his clothes, you laugh at the ramen spilling out of your grocery bags, you laugh at your tears.
You laugh at how long it took for you both to finally admit how much you loved each other.
“Mi corazón.” He pulls back from the hug and cups your cheek, looking at you with love softened eyes. “I love you.”
Tears brim your eyes.
You speak in the clearest voice you've ever spoken in. Skin bright and flushed pink.
“I love you too.”

❝𝐌𝐎𝐓𝐈𝐕𝐄❞
YOUR HEAD WAS THROBBING
When you finally woke up, leaving you completely disorientated to your surroundings. It wasn't long before you remembered what had happened, only now coming to the realisation that your hands were bound behind your back and you had duck tape over your mouth - still in Ran's room.
You attempted to scream on instinct, only making the pounding sensation worse. As your vision came back into focus you came across yet another figure in the room before you, they were stood with their back towards you so you couldn't make out who they were at first.
They hadn't even realised you were awake.
"This is bad.. real bad." the man mumbled, rubbing his temples.
You recognised this voice.
"I know but it was the first thing i thought to do, she was about to call the cops on me." Ran replied.
The figure suddenly turned around, giving you a clear view of his face. It came as no surprise as to who it was, though a part of you was hoping it wasn't true.
"Sometimes i wish we weren't related, how could you fuck up like that.. now we've got a body on our hands." Rindou sighed.
Related?
"You were the same person saying that as brothers we should stick together, the Haitani's never run from their problems and you of all people should know that." Ran replied.
Your eyes widened, immediately feeling foolish at the fact that you hadn't realised they were siblings this whole time - it explained why they never told you their last name.
They must've planned this all from the beginning.
You attempted to stand but were forced back onto your feet when you noticed they were bound together too, making a large thumping sound which caught the brothers' attention in an instant.
"Ah- she's awake." Rindou smiled, slowly trailing towards you.
You glanced up at him, a look of disgust in your eyes. You attempted to kick him, feeling the anger in your body heat you up even more.
Ran stood to the side, metal bat still in his hand - it was obvious that he'd used that to silence you earlier and wouldn't hesitate to do it again.
You didn't know what to think anymore.
Rindou observed you for a few seconds, his fingers trailing along the sides of your jawline. You desperately wanted him to take off the duck tape since it was becoming harder for you to breathe.
Maybe from then onwards, you could scream your lungs out and make an escape.
"Please don't make this hard for us by doing anything stupid, you wouldn't want your beloved Draken getting hurt now would you?" Rindou leant forward, lowering his glasses to look at you directly.
You attempted to speak but the only sounds heard was your muffled voice behind the tape. Rindou suddenly gripped onto the edge of the tape, tugging it off with full force which caused you to whimper in pain.
"You won't touch Draken." you snapped.
"Oh but we will.." Ran laughed, also stepping forward now. "We already have."
That probably explained the marks on his wrists yesterday, you felt incredibly guilty for what you'd dragged him into - this wasn't fair on him at all.
"You're both crazy!" you retorted.
"It's a shame that he doesn't care about you anymore though, especially given what happened between you and Emma- he vowed to her to never associated himself with you ever again." Ran chuckled.
"No- you're lying." you proclaimed, "Draken's not like that.. he'd never-"
Rindou suddenly pulled out his phone, he hovered his finger over the 'play' button.
"You wanna hear for yourself?" he spoke.
You nodded.
"Very well then." he tapped it.
The audio started off with Emma crying in the background, the sound was slightly muffled but you could still make out what they were saying.
-
"This isn't fair Draken.. you told me you loved me and that i could trust you." she hiccuped,
"You lied to me."
"I fucked up i know- you wouldn't understand the reason even if i tried to explain but you have every right to be mad.. i hate seeing you like this Emma."
"And it was with her, i should've known something was going on between you both this whole time."
"Nothing's going on between me and (Y/N), i see her as just a friend- you're the only one i love Emma and you know that." Draken reassured her.
"Love my ass! if you plan on staying 'friends' with her after this whole incident then-" she gulped,
"Consider our relationship over Ryuguji."
Draken sighed heavily, taking time to think to himself.
"You're the only woman in my life Emma, and if that's what it takes for you to be happy.. then so be it."
-
The recording came to an end.
You were silent for a moment, still replaying Drakens sentence in your head.
You had no one to blame but yourself for this.
"You were saying..?" Ran spoke up.
"Just shut up." you mumbled.
You felt empty inside.
"But don't be sad pretty.. you have us to look up to now." he smiled.
"Draken made you upset and we'll make sure he regrets it." his brother added.
"Don't drag him into this.. please just let it be, it was my fault in the end." you sighed.
"We care less about the Emma situation and more about what we warned him about a few nights ago."
"I knew he was lying." you groaned, "What the fuck did you both do?"
Rindou pulled out a chair, sitting on it before clasping his palms together to look at you.
"We taught him a little lesson, that's all." he smirked.
You didn't even want them to describe what they did, the marks on Draken's wrists alone were more than enough for you to come to a conclusion.
"Please just let me leave- this whole situation is escalating a lot more than it should've.. i won't speak on it if you let me go- i'll do anything." you quickly spoke.
"Anything?" Ran repeated, looking over at his brother.
"Sorry but no can do, we're not stupid (Y/N) you're right where we wanted you to be this whole time anyways." Rindou stood to his feet, reaching to the side to grab the large suitcase.
Your heart beat immediately began to pick up, only now realising that this was becoming a life or death situation.
Ran then picked up the duck tape again, pulling it before ripping a section with his teeth.
You gulped, "W-what do you mean by that?"
"Let's just say.." Ran sealed your mouth shut again,
"You're spending a little time away with the Haitani brothers."

❝𝐂𝐎𝐍𝐅𝐈𝐍𝐄𝐌𝐄𝐍𝐓❞
YOUR BODY WAS CRAMPED UP WHEN
You were dragged out of the suitcase, the brothers had forced you in so nobody would suspect them of doing anything suspicious when they left campus. From what you could hear at the time, the suitcase had been forced into the boot of Rindou's car - you had no indication of what time it was right now.
You looked up, taking in your surroundings. From what you could see it looked to be a modern styled home, it was filled with furniture and there seemed to be nothing too out of the ordinary about it.
Rindou leant forward, ripping the duck tape off your mouth whilst his brother zipped up the suitcase again - lifting it up to remove from the front room.
You let out a deep sigh, feeling tears brim in the corner of your eyes when you looked up at him pleadingly.
"I just wanna know why-" you coughed, "Why you're doing this to me.."
Rindou crouched onto his knees, the same height level as you now. He gently caressed the side of your face before tilting your jaw upwards.
"Don't look at me like that (Y/N), both me and Ran care about you- you've got nothing to worry about." he spoke reassuringly.
"How the fuck is kidnapping and keeping me hostage 'caring' about me, you two have crossed the line now." you spat.
"Yeah? well too bad, you'll learn to accept us whether you like it or not... you should be happy that we didn't just dump your body in the canal instead."
You felt the hairs on your skin stand, astonished at the words which left his mouth - there was no way you'd give into these sadistic maniacs now.
It was silent for a moment, you were too frightened to speak. Rindou stood back up properly and took his phone out, scrolling through it as he waited for Ran to return.
It was then your belly growled, making him stop in his tracks.
Rindou looked down at you whilst you avoided his gaze.
"You wanna eat don't you?"
You didn't respond.
"Hey." his fist clenched, "Answer me."
You slowly looked up at him, staring for a few seconds before looking back down - if they weren't gonna let you go then you'd just have to play the hard way.
"Don't make me have to starve you (Y/N), i will do it."
It was then Ran came back into the room, clearly startled by his brothers angered tone - he had a worried look on his face.
"What's going on?" Ran spoke.
"She's refusing to answer me."
"About?"
"I asked if she wanted to eat since her belly growled."
Ran let out a deep sigh before pulling his phone out, "Well she's obviously hungry then.. it's nothing to make a big deal out of- i'll order us all some pizza."
Someone with a brain.
"Let me order instead, you take her up to the room while we wait." Rindou retorted.
"Cool just let me untie her first, give me a moment." Ran replied.
Rindou nodded, making his way into another room of the house. Ran crouched down, angling the knife between your ankles to cut the rope.
They had been bound together for so long that you could hardly feel them, it was obvious that the blood circulation had been cut off there for a few hours and so - getting away by foot right now would be a myth.
You flinched as you outstretched them, tensing up as the pain gradually got worse.
Ran stared with a stoic expression,
"Get up." he demanded.
"I cant." you mumbled.
"What is it now?"
"My feet hurt, you must've tied the rope too tightly."
"Stop being over dramatic and get the hell up, you're starting to piss me off now too." he groaned, moving to stand behind you in an attempt to lift you up by your arms.
He eventually pulled you up and saw that you were struggling, thus making the choice to pick you up bridal style instead.
Ran took you down a hallway before going up the stairs, they seemed to keep going and going. It felt like you were climbing forever until he finally reached the top, the two of you eventually got to a dead end - confused as to where he was taking you.
"W-where will i be staying?" you spoke up.
"The attic."
Your body tensed up, from a young age you'd always had a fear of attics so you weren't looking forward to staying in this 'room' of yours they were referring to.
Hopefully it wouldn't be too long now though until someone realised you were missing.
Ran set you down onto the cold wooden floor before walking to the side to angle the ladder upwards, you could tell it was incredibly heavy just by how long he took to do this.
Once done he stood you back up properly, guiding you onto his back so he could carry you that way. The vintage smell immediately hit you as you both made your way up, quickly but cautiously.
There was this small like room before entering the actual attic, Ran took the key out of his pocket to unlock the door of it.
You weren't expecting what you saw.
To your surprise the attic bedroom wasn't even that bad, your single bed was already done neatly whilst a furry circle carpet sat on the floor beside it. The room wasn't too small but not too big either, to your right consisted a dresser with a mini-tv on top.
There was also a sky window on the roof which was far too high for anyone to reach, from what you could tell - the sky was pitch black so you presumed it was already past midnight.
The walls were painted a plain white so the room looked nothing but new, you were certain the brothers had spent a lot of their time on this.
Ran walked towards your bed, carefully placing you down on top of it.
"You'll be staying here for a while." he spoke up.
"Wait.. how long are we talking?"
Ran hummed to himself, "Dunno, weeks.. months... years even." he chuckled.
You stared at him in utter fear, surely he wasn't being serious.
"What..?" you gulped.
"You heard me, be grateful that we actually set this place up for you and didn't just leave you to die." Ran retorted.
"You fucking psychopaths, how could any sane person live like this!?" you exclaimed.
"You'll learn to deal with it." Ran set beside you,
"And don't even think about escaping.. if you so much as even attempt, we'll kill you."
That line alone sent shivers down your spine, you were trembling at this point - struggling to keep your cool.
Ding!
"Oh." Ran stood to his feet, "That should be the pizza, give me a minute while i go get you some."

❝𝐌𝐈𝐒𝐒𝐈𝐍𝐆❞
(BACK ON CAMPUS)
"HAVE YOU GUYS SEEN (Y/N)?"
You asked, entering the Shisha bar private room - before you sat Koko, Mikey and Takemichi. The three of them were all taking their own individual blows, filling your nostrils with various different tropical scents which came from their Shisha sticks.
Koko took a final pull before pulling away to focus on you completely.
"Nah, we didn't have any lectures today so if anything she should be with you no?"
"Well clearly not, i haven't seen her since this morning."
"Did she tell you about any plans she had for today?" Takemichi sat forward.
"She had tutoring earlier on but should've been back hours ago.. she hasn't been answering her texts either hence the reason why i've gone out looking for her."
"Ran's been the one tutoring (Y/N) recently as far as i'm aware, maybe check with him." Koko replied.
"Check with Draken first." Mikey spoke subtly.
"I don't think that'd be a good idea, things didn't end too-"
"I know what happened Hinata, but even so.. trust me when i say of everyone he would be the most willing to look for her." he interrupted.
"Alright, i'll stop by at his dorm after this- please let me know if any of you do find her though."
The three boys nodded in unison, watching as you left the room. Making your way across campus once more you'd decided to try and get through to (Y/N) again. You took your phone out and dialled her number, patiently waiting as it proceeded to ring.
You stood still for a moment, hearing a familiar ring tone somewhere in the distance. Your heart rate started to increase as you realised it was (Y/N)'s - the tune was quiet but you could still just about hear it.
You began to walk in the direction of the sound, the woodland trees starting to arch over you as this part of campus came to an end. You turned on the flash of your phone to see clearly, until finally you came across her phone.
Partially cracked in a shallow puddle, you watched as it rang and rang until eventually - it stopped.
You felt your stomach churn almost immediately, presentiment thoughts flooding your mind of what could've happened to her. Her phone had multiple stains on it, some to which you presumed was her blood.
You used a cloth from your purse to quickly pick it up before instantly proceeding to run to Draken's dorm.
Despite him not being on talking terms with (Y/N), you had a feeling he had an idea of what was going on.
✧・゚: *✧・゚:*
"I haven't seen or spoken to her since the argument." Draken answered the door, a look of confusion on his face.
"Why? did something happen?" he continued.
You unfolded the cloth, exposing (Y/N)'s battered phone for him to see. Draken's eyes widened in disbelief - he was left utterly speechless.
"Fuck.." he finally mumbled.
"Something happened to her i know it- her broken phone is more than enough for me to have come to that conclusion.. i just wanna know who would do such a thing and why this happened." you sighed.
"I don't know what happened but i know who could be responsible for it." Draken retorted.
"Who?"
"The Haitani brothers."
The two of you stayed silent for a moment, you gulped before responding.
"What?"
"Come in and i'll explain it all." he stood to the side, allowing you to enter the dorm.
Draken sat back down onto his bed, taking in a deep breath as he looked down at his wrists. From what you could see, they were bruised and slightly discoloured - it made you wonder what he'd been hiding all this time.
"Your wrists Draken.. i-"
"They're responsible for this too." he paused, "A few weeks back Rindou asked to meet up with me alone but hadn't told me the reason, i agreed to it because what could be the harm in meeting up with a good old friend?"
"When i finally arrived there.. by the time i figured out it was a set up my wrists were already bound together, i couldn't make out who the second person was at the time but i'm pretty sure it was Ran- they ended up jumping me and i was too out of it to recall what they were saying or why but all i remember hearing is (Y/N)'s name get mentioned and this one line.."
"Touch her again and we'll murder you ourselves."
"That was the last thing i heard before passing out, i made a promise to myself to do whatever it takes to make sure she doesn't find out simply because i don't want her worrying and she doesn't deserve to know the severity of what happened to me- i'm assuming you're already aware of what went on between her and Emma and despite me vowing to never associate myself with (Y/N) again... i still care about her well-being."
"Oh my God." your lips quivered.
No words could express how shocked you were by his words, you felt incredibly guilty about all of this and felt even worse knowing that you couldn't do anything about it.
"Mm, they're one deranged pair of brothers."
"I'm just baffled as to how you managed to stay quiet about something as messed up as this for so long."
"I care about her, that's the only reason- enough about me though.. we have to work towards finding (Y/N) immediately before it's too late."
"But you can't-" you trembled, "If they find out you told me.. they'd k-"
"I wouldn't let them do that, if it's for the sake of making sure my friend is well and happy then that's all i care about." Draken interrupted.
"And Emma.. i don't think she'd be too happy about all this either."
"Emma may be defensive over me but isn't heartless enough to just let (Y/N) stay missing like this, this is a life or death situation.. if anything i'll let her know that we're searching for her right now."
Draken and Emma trusted each other far too much for an occurrence like yesterday to break them up, they were unlike any couple you'd ever encountered before.
"Thank you Draken, this means so much to me- i'll try and see if i can file a missing persons report at the police station."

❝𝐆𝐎𝐀𝐋❞
YOU WERE AWOKEN THE FOLLOWING
Morning to the sound of the Attic latch opening, making you sit up in an instant. You hadn't meant to fall asleep but couldn't help it given how tired you were - your headache had played a large role as to why you'd dozed off so quickly.
"Good morning Pretty." Ran climbed into the room, carrying a plate of pancakes with syrup in one hand.
You didn't say anything back, only staring as he approached.
Ran placed the plate down on the side of your bed whilst you remained wrapped in your blanket, you didn't dare to move.
He yawned, looking up at the sky window which revealed a navy blue tint. "I woke up this early to make this shit for you, be grateful."
Given how dark it still was outside, you presumed it was around 7am - you had no indication of what time it was since the brothers had snatched your phone whilst you were passed out yesterday.
Thankfully it wasn't too cold in the Attic last night so you didn't sleep that badly, though you were sure that would be changing very soon.
You stared at the food for a few seconds before kicking it off the bed with your foot, causing the plate to shatter into pieces and pancakes to spill onto the floor.
"Its a shame that i didn't ask you to, you can leave now." you retorted.
You had no appetite whatsoever.
"You little bitch-"
Ran stared at the broken pieces on the floor before rubbing his temples, he then began to walk towards you. Your arms outspread themselves in an attempt to shield yourself but Ran was too fast. He wrapped his large hand around your neck and squeezed as hard as he could, you choked from this feeling - unable to breathe.
You kicked him, a failed attempt to get him off you. Ran only stopped when his brother entered the Attic a few moments later, a look of confusion on Rindou's face as he quickly approached you both.
"What the hell!? You're gonna kill her Ran!" Rindou tried to shove him off.
You gasped for dear breath when he finally let go, eyes widening as you practically felt your life flash before your eyes. You trembled, watching Rindou pick up the shards of glass which laid on the floor.
"She fucking pisses me off, if she keeps this up i will end up killing her." Ran mumbled.
"Just calm down, i'll take care of this- go take a breather downstairs."
Ran nodded, proceeding to make his way to the ladder. He didn't look back at you, not even once. You were still traumatised at his sudden act of violence, breathing heavier the longer you watched Rindou pick up the shards.
You coughed a bit, feeling tears prickle in the corners of your eyes.
Rindou noticed this, pausing his clean up to sit on the bed next to you. You couldn't help but break down right in front of him, you hadn't even been here a day and were already tired of all this.
"It's ok." he sat back, throwing an arm around your shoulder to pull you close.
You cried into his chest, not understanding why he was acting so nice to you all of a sudden especially after what happened yesterday. Nonetheless, you didn't care anymore - you just needed a shoulder to cry on right now.
"I just can't take it anymore Rindou.. so much has gone wrong within the past week, it's not fair." you hiccuped.
"I understand that, which is why although it may not seem like it right now- me and Ran are doing everything in our power to fulfil your needs and make sure you're happy again." Rindou rubbed your shoulder.
"Happy? he almost just killed me!" you exclaimed.
"I don't blame him for being mad, what you just did was unnecessary and like i stated previously- we're doing everything in our power to make sure things get better."
You could feel yourself growing more and more insane by the second.
"I... I just need to leave this place- please i'm begging you to let me go." You gulped, "I need to see Hina."
"Hina you say?" he raised a brow.
"Please.." you quickly answered.
"You begging won't change my opinion, the behaviour you've displayed recently hasn't been the best so i can't guarantee anything."
You presumed they'd let you leave to see her.
Little did you know though,
She'd be the one coming over.
"I'll do whatever it takes-" you immediately stood to your feet, taking his place in picking up the shards.
"I'll try to change.. but only for your sake."
"That's the (Y/N) i know." he chuckled, standing to pat your head.
"Such an obedient girl."
You disregarded his remark, doing all you could to fix your reputation, to try and impress him. You would do whatever it took to get out of this place, no normal person could live like this.
"It'll take a lot more than that to convince us but once you prove that you deserve to, we'll eventually put together a little reunion."
✧・゚: *✧・゚:*
It had been a few hours now since the talk with Rindou, you'd attempted to budge the Attic door a few times but to no avail - you should've known that the brothers weren't dumb enough to have left it open.
Rindou had left the TV on for you, it had been playing for a few hours until you eventually got bored of it. Nothing entertaining had caught your attention all day so the only thing you could really think to do was day dream, formulating a plan to get out of this place.
It was then the TV channel suddenly switched, making you turn to face it immediately.
It was a 'Breaking News!' headline.

You were in disbelief at what you saw, unable to believe that you were witnessing a missing persons report of yourself right now. The picture of yourself on it was vague too, one that you'd used for your college card.
Your breathing quickly began to increase, you were both nervous and relieved that your friends had pulled through in trying to find you.
But deep down you knew this would be even more of a problem, regarding the brothers' watch on you. They'd now more than ever be more cautious of their choices and decisions.
You had to work towards rebuilding their trust again.
Something that you knew would be tricky at first, but would one way or another be able to pull off.
That was your goal.

❝𝐒𝐓𝐑𝐈𝐊𝐄❞
(5 DAYS LATER)
THE PAST FEW DAYS HAD BEEN
Nothing but hell, you were so unbelievably bored that it was starting to drive you insane. Not to mention you'd also been trying to find ways to unlock the Attic hatch but to no avail, your patience was quickly running thin - you knew you couldn't stay here forever.
The sun had already set so you figured it was some time in the evening now, it was as if the Haitani brothers had completely locked you away from the outside world.
Ran hadn't shown you any signs of aggression which was a good thing on your half, this meant you were slowly getting on his good side and that was a crucial factor for what you had planned to do next.
Reaching beneath your pillow, you pulled out a knife that you'd kept from one of your meals a few days back - this was a risky move but if it was what it took for you to be safe then so be it.
You took a deep breath before proceeding to slice your upper arm, not too deep so the pain would be unbearable but just enough to bleed out slightly.
You knew this way, the brothers would have no choice but to tend to your needs.
You groaned when the wound began to sting, causing you to cling onto your arm. You then stood to your feet, making your way towards the Attic hatch to stand on it - the brothers rarely came in unless it was to give you food or any other essentials.
This was your chance.
"Rindou!" you called out as loud as you could.
If they could hear you frantically shouting like this then you were bound to get their attention.
You waited for a response but got nothing.
"Fuck- my arm! it hurts!" you exclaimed a second time, "Please... someone!"
You began to bang your foot on the Attic hatch, a further attempt at getting their attention. Your prayers were answered when you heard a faint climbing sound beneath you, signalling that someone was coming.
"I'm bleeding!" you cried a final time until eventually, the Attic latch opened.
By now the blood has started to streak down your arm leading to your wrist, things were going just as planned.
From beneath the latch finally emerged Ran, he gave a startled look upon seeing the sight before him. You fell to your knees to seem dramatic, gritting your teeth to exemplify the pain.
"How the fuck did you manage that?" he sighed.
"It was an accident- i was trying to reach something and ended up falling."
"It doesn't look too bad, i'm sure it'll heal with a few days worth of rest." Ran took your arm into his hand, inspecting it attentively.
"I-it hurts to move." you lied.
Ran then leant forward, practically scooping you up in his arms so he could carry your bridal style.
"I'll take you to the first aid kit downstairs since it'd be a hassle to bring it up here." he mumbled.
You clenched your fist in triumph, finally experiencing a feeling of hope.
Ran took you downstairs to the first floor, placing you down onto the kitchen counter whilst he looked for the first aid kit. You looked around, taking in what you'd be dealing with - you'd never entered this part of the house before so it was a completely new experience for you.
You knew trying anything now would just sabotage your whole plan, it wasn't long before Ran came back into view - dark green first aid kit in hand with rubbing alcohol in the other.
You sat forward on the counter, giving him easier access as you held your arm out. Ran proceeded to dab the alcohol with a cotton ball, making you flinch at the stinging sensation.
He placed his left hand on your thigh, preventing you from squirming any further.
"It shouldn't hurt that much, you'll be fine." he reassured you, reaching forward to wrap the bandage around it.
He was awfully close to you, just mere inches away.
Ran double tapped your thigh, signalling that he was done. What you were about to do next was incredibly risky but it was the only way you'd be able to move forward.
"Ran." you spoke.
"Hm?"
"You know.. being up there in the Attic alone does get kinda lonely at times." you twirled your curl around your finger.
"Sometimes personal space is necessary, us watching you 24/7 would just be plain creepy." he retorted.
"Could you stay with me? just for tonight..?" you pleaded.
Ran sighed to himself, staring into your eyes as his hand moved to tilt your jaw upwards.
"You'll end up getting me in trouble Pretty." he whispered.
"Rindou doesn't have to know, it could be our little secret."
"Don't think i'd be able to control myself sharing a bed with you, even if it is just for one night."
"What if i told you i'd be willing to do whatever it takes tonight to satisfy you?" you leered.
"What an angel." Ran laughed,
"I'm not stupid (Y/N)." his voice suddenly changed, stern now.
"Huh?"
"Wanting to fuck me to get your way, is that it?" Ran continued.
You raised a brow, he'd clocked onto your plan already but you couldn't let him know that - it was time for plan B.
"What? of course not... who are you to tell me whether i'm lying or not? all i'm saying is that it gets lonely up there being isolated from society all the time." you proclaimed.
"Yeah no, it'll take a lot more for me to give in- especially to someone like you." he backed away.
"Fine, not that i care anyways- all i wanted was some comfort." you got off the counter, proceeding to make your way towards the stairs again.
"I'll just ask Rindou, at least he actually cares about my well being." you rolled your eyes.
"No you won't and even so, he's not home right now." Ran retorted.
"Why?"
"None of your business."
It was then you suddenly felt Ran grab you by your waist, pulling you backwards so that your back was planted on his chest - Ran was a lot taller than you were so this feeling was an overwhelming one.
He leant forward to your ear, the soothing warmth of his aurora already making you feel things.
"I'll tell you one thing (Y/N), one thing i hate is being compared to my brother.. and for that reason- i'll be reminding you who the better brother truly is."
"How the hell did you switch from me being in denial to wanting to seduce me.. honestly Ran, you're so indecisiv-"
Your sentence was interrupted when you felt his hand latch around your neck this time, the traumatic experiences of what happened the other day stopping you in your tracks.
"Since you wanna be a little brat, i'll give you what you want- so hurry it up and get your ass on this counter with your back arched for me."

When you woke up the next morning you felt a discomfort between your legs. Your core hurt, but it was nothing compared to when Kai had his way with you. kai roughly took you. He didn't take the time to let you get aroused, he just dove right in and got himself off without care about whether you were enjoying it or not. He didn't listen when you said no, instead, he forced you to give in. He forced himself on you and coerced you, then he left you to clean up the mess.
Dabi gently took you. He took his time and paid attention. He asked you if he was hurting you, he asked you if what he was doing was okay. He made sure you were aroused when he took you. He was kind but he still got you in just the right spots making you crave more. He was attentive and made it enjoyable. Unlike your mysophobic captor, he cleaned you up.
When you woke up, Dabi's cum was not dripping from your body like last night. You were worried you'd wake up to dry cum crusted on your skin, but he had cleaned you up. Not only had he cleaned you up from his ejaculation, but he had put clothes on you. Instead of being naked, you wore a long-sleeved pajama shirt and jogging pants. As you felt the bedding you noticed he had changed the sheets and blankets from your sinful acts of the previous night. You must've been really out of it because you hadn't woke up. Whether it was from him wearing you out from your activities, or the fact you hadn't felt so safe sleeping in such a long time remained a mystery.
You pulled yourself out of bed, wincing slightly at the pain. It was more bearable than what Kai was capable of doing to you, and once you stopped thinking about the pain you barely noticed it. You couldn't lie that it hurt Dabi wasn't there when you woke up, but you knew that had someone caught Dabi in your bedroom like that it would cause hell for you both. Sure Dabi was supposed to watch you, but if he was seen leaving your room so early in his clothes from the day before it would arise suspicious questions. He would have to return to your room in the late morning when people could witness him coming to watch you in an innocent matter.
Despite that rational thinking, you couldn't help but wonder if he regretted last night at all. As you slipped on clean fresh clothes you couldn't help but wonder if he meant his words to you. You couldn't help but ponder on if he meant them with honesty. You carried such baggage and trouble with you, a relationship together would be so troublesome for him.
A knock on the door broke you out of your reverie. You quickly pulled your shirt down as you spoke out through the closed door.
"Who is it?"
"It's Dabi."
You tried to slow down the heart palpations you received as you briskly walked over to the door and opened it. Just the sound of his deep voice brought electricity to every fiber of your body but seeing him standing in the doorway made you smile. He came back.
"Hey."
Dabi stepped inside your room and closed the door behind him. He was quick to pull you against his chest, his warmth completely engulfing you. You were relishing in his touch so much you hadn't realized tears were beginning to escape your eyes and drip onto his shirt. You hadn't realized up until Dabi pulled away and tilted your head up with his hands. His long fingers hooked behind your ears and his warm thumbs pushed away your tears.
"What's wrong? Did I accidentally hurt you?"
"No, no you didn't. I'm sorry. I just- I know why you had to leave... But I was worried you regretted it. Regretted last night."
Your tone hushed and got quiet as you mumbled out the last part. Due to your proximity, Dabi still heard it. He pulled you against his chest again. His hold was tighter, more protective but not hurtful.
"Doll, I didn't regret it."
"Are you sure? I wouldn't blame you. I know what complications come with me and you're not obligated to stick around just because I gave myself to you."
"Baby doll, I don't intend to leave. I'm staying and gettin' both you and Eri out. I meant what I said last night."
Your head rested against Dabi's chest as you let out a sigh of relief. You breathed in Dabi's scent of smoke, cigarettes, and sulfur. They were bad smells, yet they brought comfort and safety to your stomach. You lifted your head off of his chest and plopped your lips onto his. It was such a normal action, but it was so foreign. It had been so long since you willingly incited such a romantic action. It was wrong to do it with Dabi when you were dating Kai, albeit forcefully, but it was so right. When you were pulled against his chest, in his arms, you couldn't care to give Kai a single thought. You couldn't be bothered to care if it was morally wrong or right to cheat on a relationship that was forced on you.
Kai was wrong. All the words he'd spoken to you. All the phrases and hurtful words he spits out. Every time he said no one could love you. Every time he said he was the only one who could love you. He was wrong, it was all wrong. Dabi could love you. Dabi did love you.
"I was half asleep when I said it... but I meant what I said too."
Dabi dipped his head down to your ear and gave it a light nibble before whispering roughly, leaving tickles down your eardrum and cochlea.
"I really do love you. I know it's early to say that... But you make me feel things. I'm so closed off, but you make me want to tell you everything about myself."
"Then tell me. You know so much about me, you know about Eri and my mother... I wanna know more about you."
Dabi pulls out of your embrace but keeps a hand in yours. He lightly tugs you along with him to your bed. Once he sits down on the fluffy blankets, he pulls you on top of his lap.
"What do you want to know, doll?"
Your hands came up and played with Dabi's hair as you nestled your body against his. Eliciting a smile from Dabi, you lightly tugged and pulled, but not in the same manner as the night before. It was nice to be able to just touch and love without getting hurt.
"Everything. I wanna know everything about you Dabi."
"God, I don't know where to start... I guess I'll start with my childhood."
Dabi wrapped his arms around your waist, one arm around your back and the other across your lap. His warm hands gripped your thigh and waist as he spoke out his words to you. Dabi had briefly mentioned before that his father was abusive, that his father was mean but he escaped out. You couldn't imagine Dabi as a child, he looked so rough with his scars and staples it was hard to imagine him in a setting where he was young, innocent, and fresh.
"Back then I went by Touya."
"Touya... I like that. Why did you stop using it?"
"My father picked it out. He demanded that he pick it out because I was destined to surpass him, his opinion changed after I received my quirk. When I left home I wanted nothing to do with him. I dyed my hair- it was red then - and I changed my name."
"I bet you looked nice with red hair."
"Mm, I was quite the fox in high school, all the ladies loved me. I never gave them the time of day. It's not something I'm proud of, but I used them for a quick screw and then I'd forget their number."
Your chest tightened as his words registered in your brain. You knew Dabi had a bad reputation. He's a villain, some sort of bad merit comes with that. Hearing him say it was different. How could you be sure you weren't going to be one of those girls? Then again, Dabi hadn't hit you like Kai and if he had ill intent why would he be sitting here telling you about his past. Almost as if he noticed your hesitation in your brain, Dabi dug his fingers in you tighter and pulled you against him closer.
"It's different with you. You like me even though I am a villain, you like me despite my scars and staples. Those girls in high school didn't want me, they wanted Touya. They wanted his status. They wanted his wealth. They wanted Touya, the eldest Todoroki sibling."
"Todoroki... Todoroki as in Endeavor, like the hero?"
"Enji Todoroki is my father, but he is not a hero."
Before Kai closed you off from the world you'd seen Endeavor on the news a lot. As the number two hero, he made lots of appearances. With All Might's lack of recent activity, Endeavor began taking the spotlight more. Although he wasn't your favorite hero, you thought he was one of the greats. As Dabi gripped onto you tightly he made a face, a face of fear. He looked scared and nervous to be talking about the man who raised him. Endeavor saved people, but clearly, there was a dark presence behind the man.
"He was obsessed with surpassing All Might. When my quirk showed up he was less than happy, he pressured my mom into having more kids, more weapons for him to use. My mother gave birth to my sister Fuyumi, my brother Natsuo, then finally she had Shouto."
It was like Dabi's breath hitched in his throat. He had a hard time letting the words out. He hadn't ever told anyone about his childhood. In school, he never allowed himself to be close to anyone, and he never uttered a word to a soul in the league.
"Shouto had both of my parents quirks, and to Enji that was valuable. He separated my brother from me and my siblings, forced him to train to become a hero at a very young age. He abused my mother when she tried to stop him, physically and mentally. She couldn't bear to look at me, behind I looked so much like him."
You pulled Dabi's head against your neck and he was quick to bury himself inside it. He let out a few sobs, but they were muffled against your skin. His tears streamed down his face as he pulled back to finish talking.
"Eventually she snapped. She threw a pot of boiling water down Shouto's face, the side of him that looked like Enji. He threw her in a mental institution. I was twelve, and I had to help raise Fuyumi, Natsou, and Shouto. I was just twelve, and I had to cook dinners. I was twelve and I had to help Natsuo with his math homework. I was twelve and I watched Enji train my brother so hard he threw up, and when I tried to stop him I would get beat."
"Oh, Dabi..."
"When I turned seventeen he became tamer. He never beat Fuyumi, she was his soft spot, and he never beat Natsuo... I think his face reminded him too much of my mom. They stopped needing me, so I left. I faked my suicide and left. I still keep tabs on them. My sister is a teacher, still living at home to take care of him. Natsuo's in college, and Shouto's in the prestigious UA."
Dabi moved his hands from your thigh to your face. He cupped your cheeks and brought his lips to yours.
"I hate my father for the abuse. I hate him so much, but to stay in the game long enough for my siblings to stay safe, I had to play the game. I had to lay down and place my cheek up until they were old enough to stand up and defend themselves, old enough to not need me."
"You don't deserve that. No one deserves that."
"You don't deserve it, but I need you to do it. I need you to play Kai's game. Pretend that you want him. Pretend you can't get enough of him. Pretend your so in love. We need him to get laxer. The laxer he is, the easier--safer it'll be to get you and Eri out. To survive the games you gotta play the game."
You mirrored Dabi's actions by pressing your lips back against his. Your kisses held passion and love. Your hand came up and caressed his cheek softly, skimming lightly over his staples, unsure if it was a soft and sensitive or not.
"I'll do it Dabi. I'll hate every minute of it, but I'll do it. I'll stop fighting, give in, embrace it. I'll play Kai's game."

Next Chapter is out Yeahhhh!!!
Lil Guy belongs to @toastraccoon Also @illateyouricecreamlastnight cuz this part actually ties in to the rp we're doing rn
Tumblr media
It had been a week now since Lil Guy introduced Cel and Mari to the safe space, it wasn't as big as they were expecting it to be.
But it was definitely safer than trying to rest on a desktop that was for sure;
The space looked almost exactly like a fancy hotel, down to the fancy mints in the bathroom.
After getting checked into the hotel the duo made their way into the only available room, only to find out that there was only one bed.
Mari insisted that they shared the bed and Cel definitely couldn't say no to a face like that; So share the bed they did.
It was a bit awkward at first, especially when Cel kept waking up gently pressed against Maris side. According to Mari he had snuggled up against them in his sleep, much to Cels despair.
Though after finding out that Mari didn't mind and actually found it quite comforting during those long lonely nights the initial awkwardness died down a bit.
Currently Mari was stretching out their stiff muscles after having been forced to lay in a bed for a week. Cel on the other hand was laying on the bed, trying to distract himself from Maris stretching by reading a book; though he was failing miserably at doing so.
"Hey Cel?" Mari turned their head to look at their friend in the middle of a stretch and Cel quickly had to hide his blushing face behind his book.
"Mhm?" He hummed quietly
"I overheard a few of the sticks next door talking about a new game they found...it sounded like fun, wanna check it out?' Mari smirked, still mid stretch, as a result of this Cel ducked under the book even more; face somehow even redder than before.
"I-uh" Cel stuttered trying to get his emotions under control; But before he could Mari began making their way out of the door.
"I'll take that as a yes then, come on let's go!" Mari smiled, throwing open the door before running into the hall just outside it.
"H-Hey! Wait up!" Cel yelled, quickly discarding his book, before jumping off the bed and following Mari out.
..........
Cel locked the door of the portal that led to the hotel with the key Lil Guy had given them before following Mari onto the task bar.
Mari stopped just before they stepped on a creepy looking game icon named Freeze.
Cel looked between the icon and Mari, a sickening worry beginning to build up inside his chest. He was about to voice this worry when Mari suddenly grabbed his hand and jumped into the icon.
Cels world went dark for a few moments as the game loaded, but he soon regained his sight as the duo quickly landed inside what looked like the hallway of a large mansion.
Cel looked around the dimly lit hallways and listened to the spooky music playing in the background for a few moments, before quickly coming to the conclusion that Mari had dragged him into some sort of horror game.
Cel glared at Mari who was currently looking quite pleased with themselves. "Mari this is a horror game! What were you thinking!" Cel whispered harshly causing Mari to look over at them, their once smiling face falling into a confused frown.
"This isn't a horror game though...more like...a haunted house" Mari shrugged, beginning to walk down the hall. Cel slowly followed, his glare softening into a worried sort of look.
"Is...is there a difference?" Cel muttered, genuinely unsure.
"Yeah, there is" Mari nodded "In a horror game the monsters can hurt you and even kill you in some cases...haunted houses just have harmless spooks"
Mari looked over at Cel, checking to see if he had been convinced. Seeing the still concerned look still clearly on Cels face Mari added.
"Well...this game can turn into a horror game from what I've heard...but as long as we don't attack any of the spooks we sh-"
A stick sized figure suddenly appeared in front of the duo and they both froze in their tracks.
Cel chuckled lightly in surprise "Hah-Uh...If this is all there is then this" he turned, noticing how Maris eyes had widened and their breathing had become panicked "shouldn't be...so bad..." Cel muttered, not taking his eyes off of Mari.
Without warning Mari threw a punch at the figure, hitting it square in the head...where it's face was supposed to be.
Cel flinched, Maris previous words repeating in his head as the figure fell to the floor.
Something must've happened to Mari to cause them to react like this...they wouldn't just blatantly ignore their own rule...usually...
A loud roar echoed through the hall as all of the doors swung open with a bang, causing both of them to jump harshly, their heads snapping towards the doors general direction.
Familiar looking figures appeared just outside them as unmoving as the first one had been.
Mari began backing up, their breathing becoming more erratic by the second but their arms up in a defensive pose.
Cel knew they were probably planning on fighting the figures but by the amount of doors that had opened he figured they probably couldn't do it on their own;
Especially considering the mental state they were currently in.
Cel looked around for some sort of weapon for a few moments before spotting a discarded umbrella, he grabbed it just before Mari suddenly ran forward and took a swing at the nearest figure.
Mari yelped in both surprise and pain as their fist collided with the figure's hard wooden face and a small red bar appeared just above Maris head. The bar remained full for only a few seconds before shaking and going down until only a quarter of the bar was left.
Cel stepped forward, fully expecting the creature to lunge at Mari, however it didn't move until Cel swung the umbrella at its neck; and that was only because Cel had managed to knock its head off.
The figure suddenly went limp and fell to the floor with a loud thud.
Cel stared at it for a while, trying to take in what just happened, however he couldn't do so before Mari had grabbed his arm and began dragging him down the hall.
Cel was grateful for this, as when he looked behind him he noticed how close one of the figures had gotten to him.
Though he was also quite confused, sure Mari knew when to fight and when to run away. But that line was so blurred to them that Cel was fully expecting them to try and take on the entire hallway of monsters, especially after seeing Cel take down one so easily.
As they turned the corner Mari suddenly stopped in their tracks, Cel colliding with them as a result.
The room they had just run into looked like a fancy ballroom, it was also filled with faceless mannequins dressed in fancy clothing.
Mari stared at all of them in wild panic, their muscles stiffened as their legs locked into place.
Cel quickly turned around, just managing to catch the group of figures in his gaze, before swinging his umbrella and knocking one of them to the floor.
He knocked down two more of them before turning around to check on Mari. Noticing the maroon stick figure still hadn't moved, Cels worry grew tenfold.
"Mari! Are you alright?!?" Cel called out before whirling around and knocking another figure to the floor.
A sob reached Cels ears and he froze, "Mari?" He muttered, turning around, about to go comfort them when a sharp pain suddenly grabbed his waist.
At Cels cry Mari snapped out of their funk and turned around to see Cel falling to his knees as the pain travelled across his sides and to his back.
As Maris gaze fell upon the figure it froze, allowing Cel to slip out of its grasp on his way to the floor.
Before either of them could assess the damage Mari quickly scooped Cel into their arms and took off running again.
Mari fought their way through the ballroom as the mannequins began grabbing at them, spotting a door, they ran towards it.
A few moments later they managed to break out of the mannequin's grasps and through the door.
The room they had entered was completely black. The door closed behind them, removing their only light source for a few moments before two glowing words appeared in front of them.
Mari looked up, still breathing heavily from the running and panic. Though they quickly let themselves relax after reading the glowing words, collapsing to the floor as they did so and burying their face into Cels shoulder.
Demo complete.
They remained like that as Mari let out every emotion that had been building up ever since the two arrived in the game into Cels shoulder.
Cel just rested there, also recovering from the ordeal but wanting to comfort their currently hurting friend as much as they could.
After a long while of the duo just sitting there inside each other's arms; Mari swallowed heavily before trying to get the words that were currently stuck in their throat out into the open.
"Cel...Cel I'm" they swallowed again, trying to push the unwelcome emotion back into its cage. Though that only made it want to come out more.
"Shh,shh, it's okay" Cel soothed beginning to rub Maris back.
"It's not though! I for-forced you-I thought" Mari sobbed trying to push themselves off of Cels shoulder; though he was having none of it and proceeded to hold onto them even tighter.
"Now you listened here" Cel ordered firmly but with no malice in his tone "sure, you may not have given me time to respond but I know you never meant for this to happen, by how you reacted to those...things, you weren't prepared for it-"
"That's the point-" Mari started trying to pull away again.
"Let me finish!" Cel huffed, still clinging tightly onto Mari.
"I don't blame you for what happened, all you wanted to do was have fun with a friend after spending the week in bed, you heard of a fun game and wanted to check it out" Cel sighed as he felt Mari allow him to pull them back into his shoulder "Honestly I would've been more upset if you had decided to check the game out on your own"
Mari chuckled humorlessly at that, letting out a few more sobs before finally managing to calm himself down.
"Th-thank you," Mari muttered softly, slowly turning their head to look at Cel.
"No problem" Cel muttered back, gently pressing his head against Maris in the form of a gentle headbutt.
"what are friends for?"
Mari chuckled again at that, looking up into Cels eyes. A warm, fuzzy feeling suddenly began making its way into their stomach.
They continued staring into Cels eyes as they tried to figure out what this emotion was.
It was a longing one.
One that didn't want Cel to leave them.
One that needed Cel to stay by their side.
Another emotion suddenly made themselves known.
One that told Mari that they couldn't keep them.
That Cel wanted to leave.
Mari suddenly felt very, very sad.
Cel suddenly pulled away, cheeks red, he was now looking rather sheepish.
Mari turned away as well, squashing the conflicting emotions into the darkest corner of their mind, hoping to pick them apart later.
"Ah uh...sorry-" Cel muttered, still not looking at Mari.
"It's okay..." Mari muttered back.
The duo remained like that for a few moments, before Mari suddenly realised that Cel probably had a few unvoiced questions about what had just happened.
It was only fair that they indulge them, after all Cel had told them their backstory.
It was only fair.
"You're probably wondering why I reacted the way I did back there-" Mari started and Cels head snapped towards them, a worried look on their face.
Though he remained silent, genuinely curious as to what Mari was going to say.
"When...when I answered those questions about my game I-I wasn't telling the whole truth..." Mari continued to avoid Cels eyes, now looking rather guilty.
"I didn't leave because I was bored...I left because...because I was tired of being someone's test dummy..." Mari took a few deep breaths before continuing, trying to calm his thumping heart down.
"It's okay..." Cel smiled softly "take your time"
Mari smiled back, grateful for his friend's patience.
"Ev-every day I had to fight these...faceless husks, I had no time to relax...everyday I was...brought out and forced" Mari paused again, chancing a glance at Cels expression.
His friend looked horrified, but also sympathetic...
"Even when I passed out in the middle of a match I still had to fight...they beat me until I woke up...aft-after a few years of this I...I noticed an opening...an opening out of the game...I don't know how long it had been there but...I took it...I ran out and never looked back" Mari huffed, looking down at his hands as he began trying to squash the painful memories that were now rushing into their mind.
Cel suddenly pulled Mari into another hug.
"That sounds horrible! No wonder you freaked out so much!" Cel gasped, Mari let out another sob in reply before burying their face into Cels shoulder again.
"Yeah it was" Mari choked out as they let themselves cry again.
Cel began rubbing their back again "you're okay now, you got out" they muttered in an attempt to sooth them.
Mari nodded, trying to calm themselves down again.
"I'm not gonna let you go through that again" Cel smiled and Mari slowly pushed away, looking up at Cel with a somewhat hopeful expression.
"Promise?"
Cel chuckled "yeah...I promise"

Tumblr media
The car rumbled over a gravel pathway, entering though opened steel gates and down a road lined with tall pine trees. You craned your neck upwards, hand blocking out the sun in an attempt to see just how high they reached.
"Where are we?" You asked for the hundredth time, still hoping Ozo would give you even the slightest hint of where he had planned to take you. The whole time, he had avoided the question, and he did just the same now, grinning cheekily as he gave you same answer.
"You'll see when we get there!" He laughed at your exasperated sigh.
"You can't even give me just one hint?" You tried.
"[Y/N], you're smart. If I give you a hint, you'll know the answer straight away! Then there'd be no surprise!" He tutted, not giving in to your pouting, no matter how cute you looked. If he could get past Takashi, he could get past you. Albeit, with a lot more struggle.
And so, you waited, leg bouncing in anticipation as the road finally widened out, the trees dispersing to reveal a modern mansion, with large windows almost completely covering the entire front of it. It was pale in colour, it's tiled roof a matte black.
Ozo manoeuvred the car around the fountain in the front drive way, steadily coming to a halt.
"Where... Who's house is this??" You stated in bewilderment. How many mansions did this place have? Ozo only continued to remove his seatbelt, prompting you to do the same until he stopped you.
"Stay in the car for a sec. This isn't the final destination," with that, he jumped out of the car, walking up a small platform of stairs and knocking loudly on the large dark oak doors. You watched him as he leaned his weight on one foot, resting a hand in his pocket as the other fanned his face.
As you both waited for someone to arrive at the door, you began to think about who this person could be. If Ozo thought you would guess who it was easily, then that meant you had to have met this person before, right? You cupped your chin, brows furrowed as you thought further. You knew Chorosuke and Dayoko definitely didn't live here, Takashi lives in Iriabi, so it's not him... If Ozo lived here, then he wouldn't have to knock on the door... Then the only other person it could be was...
"Osomatsu-niisan!"
The doors swung open violently, a yellow blur tackling the driver, close to knocking him over. Ozo yelped in surprise, quickly melting into a laugh.
"Jyushimatsu!" Ozo patted his brother's back affectionately. "See, this is why you're my favourite!"
Ah, now the mansion made sense. Jyushimatsu was the son of the mayor here, so of course they would live in luxury.
As you observed the scene with a fond smile, you noticed that Jyushimatsu was actually wearing the paper bag he had with him the night before, his large eyes peering through the two holes haphazardly cut into the front of the brown paper. You wondered why he wore it; was he self-conscious?
'No,' you thought. 'If he was, he would've kept it on when we first met.'
"What are you doing here, niisan?" Jyushimatsu asked, leaning away.
"I'm taking [Y/N] around Akashika, to show her the sights and stuff," he glanced back at you. "Wanna come with us?"
The two caught eyes, an understanding glimmer flashing between them as Jyushimatsu nodded eagerly, already running towards the car. He jumped into the back seats — literally — and greeted you loudly.
"[Y/N]-chan!" He exclaimed happily, leaning through the gap between your front seats.
"Hello, Jyushimatsu!" His enthusiasm was infectious, your own smile widening greatly.
"You look really pretty today!" He added. "I can tell Osomatsu-niisan thinks so, too!" He pointed to said person as they sat themselves into the car, freezing at the sudden call-out. You giggled, cheeks flushing.
"I'm sure he does," your mind went back to the first car ride, unable to stop the butterflies fluttering in your stomach as you watched Ozo's face darken to red. He glared at Jyushimatsu from the rear view mirror as he started up the car, driving away from the mansion.
"So you live here, Jyushimatsu?" You did Ozo a favour, diverting the subject easily.
"Yup! This is the Ogami Family Estate!" He pointed back to his home as it slowly disappeared from view. "My dad and I live here! You can visit anytime you like!"
You smiled, keeping the offer in mind. Ozo stayed silent, squinting at the road as he drove back the way he came, taking a left towards the mountain peaks in the distance.
"Boobs!" The sudden call from Jyushimatsu made you jump. You glanced back at him with a raised brow to see him pointing straight ahead towards the two twin peaks.
"He thinks they look like tits." Ozo's blunt explanation didn't help the burn of your skin.
"O-Oh..." you mumbled, shrinking slightly in your seat.
'That's one way to look at it, I guess...'
The rest of the car ride was mostly uneventful, the only noise coming from Jyushimatsu as he hummed a tune you hadn't heard before. It sounded like a nursery rhyme.
At one point, the stretch of road ahead of you was devoid of any trees or shade, allowing the sun to shine down on you with no mercy.
"Man, it's hot today...!" Ozo sighed, rolling down his window. You nodded, doing the same.
"Hey, Osomatsu nii-san..." Jyushimatsu called from the back, tired as he fanned himself. "Can't you put the AC on?"
"Ah, well..." Ozo laughed nervously. "I still haven't gotten it fixed yet..."
"What?!" Jyushimatsu cried. "I'm gonna die..!"
"How can you survive this summer heat when you're driving around all day?" You asked incredulously, peering over to the driver who was busy unbuttoning a third button from his shirt, tousling his hair to provide some kind of cool breeze for his head. His sleeves were sticking to his biceps, clinging onto his skin and defining his slightly toned arms.
"I don't." Ozo replied, not noticing your blatant stares, unlike a certain someone behind you. You heard Jyushimatsu giggle, making you avert your eyes with a silent huff in turn.
Soldiering through the dizzying heat, the car eventually pulled to a stop in front of the beginnings of a mountain trail. Clambering out, you squinted your eyes at the path as it trailed upwards.
"Are we climbing all the way up to the top?" Wearily, you took a subtle step back. Jyushimatsu laughed loudly, readjusting the paper bag on his head.
"Nope! Just a little further up this way!" He headed off, waving a hand back towards you and Ozo. "Let's go!"
The heavy slam of the trunk of the car caused you to turn around, watching as Ozo adjusted his grip on the handle of a blue and white box before following behind you.
"What's that?" Ozo glanced at you then down to the box, grinning.
"I always carry a few extra drinks with me on the job. Don't tell my boss, though!" He mockingly held a finger up to his lips, winking at you.
"Don't tell me there's only beer cans in there.." you raised a brow. As nice as the thought was, you weren't planning to get drunk during the day, especially on a mountain trail.
"Nah, 'course not!" Ozo waved a hand. "As much as I love my alcohol, a soda or too aren't so bad every now and then, too!"
You felt something slip around your wrist, your steps faltering. Recognising that warmth, your eyes widened slightly as Ozo's hand wrapped themselves around you again, gently tugging you forward along with him.
"Wouldn't want you to trip or anything, right?" His dark lidded eyes moved over to you from over his shoulder. His stare made you want to bury your face into your hands.
"Not when you're looking that gorgeous."

Viktor Flirting With You, Marcus' Friend, Would Include:
Tumblr media
Requested: @uhohscarlett
It all started at Shabnams party
Marcus hadn't even wanted to go in the first place
Of all your friends, you were the one to finally convince him
This wasn't a normal high school, you'd never have a normal experience except for maybe the house parties
You'd never know, though unless you went
"Please, please, please, please, please!"
"Fine, but if I'm not have fun, I'm leaving."
"Deal!"
You didn't expect it to be as crazy as it was
Even the front yard was destroyed, and the night was still young
The two of you had broken off earlier than he wanted
Parties weren't his thing, he would have much preferred you stick together, but you slipped away in search of booze
Alone in what felt like a zoo, Marcus made conversation with some interesting characters, praying you'd be back soon
You'd forgotten all about the booze though
He caught you rummaging around in the kitchen, red solo cups in hand, cursing all the bottles you found empty
You were expecting him to make a joke about you, picking on you, wanting to beat him to the punchline before he ruined your night
"What do you want Viktor? Gonna make fun of my clothes, again? Or how about my hair? Why don't we get creative, and pick apart my personality this time, huh bud? That'd be a new low for you."
Accompanied with an eye roll, but Viktor just stares, stepping from one foot to the other, as if he were unsure of himself
"I was going to say you look. . . . nice."
Saying that, he found a liquor bottle that was half full among the empties, filling the cups, taking the one that was meant for Marcus
Did he just say that?
You looked him up and down, trying to determine exactly how drunk, high, or both he was, but Viktor looked sober, he wasn't slurring his words or stumbling around, he just seemed nervous. . . .
"Is this some kind of sick joke?"
"What? No, no!"
Still, you checked behind you, around you, incase his friends were laughing, or Brandy and her cheerleader squad were waiting to attack
But you two were alone, in your own corner in the chaos
You couldn't believe he was even talking to you
Legacies and Rats weren't supposed to get along
That's just how it worked at the school, though, in your defense, it was mostly the Legacies fucking with the Rats, and the Rats getting revenge
You feared this could be the start of something
Viktor saw that, wanting to show you he was serious
He compliments you again, this time with a smile
You never thought you'd hear anything like that come out of Viktors mouth directed at you
It was sweet, sure, but you made sure to put some distance between you, in case his friends had something planned, then there would be time for you to run, get away, or defend yourself
Viktor seemed different though. . . .
He seemed more relaxed around you, leaning against the counter, his shoulders slouched, smile a little goofier
You weren't sure if it was because of the booze or you
You lost track of time together, forgetting about Marcus, getting caught up in conversation about nothing in particular
"I can't talk about homework right now! Do you know how many missing assignments I have? Lin's gonna put my head on a stake."
"I thought you were a good student."
"I am! I just don't care for that class."
You make sure to avoid anything that could be used against you or made into a joke, but Viktor just like a talking to you
He's even funny! Surprisingly!
He makes you choke on your drink a few times, playfully hitting him, trying to contain your own laughter
You never thought you'd be spending the party like this
It was going better than you ever expected
He poked fun at his friends, at Shabnam, at the whole party
It was easy talking with him, this version of him, even, admittedly, easier than it was talking to your friends about these kinds of things
You were gone long enough for Marcus to find his own drinks, having more than he should have, unable to see straight
"Y/n! Y/n, I wanna go home!"
But the music and the crowd were too loud to hear
He stumbled his way through the house, finding you still in the kitchen, laughing at someone, even being affectionate?
The closer he got, the clearer the figure became
"What the fuck y/n?"
You excuse yourself, realizing that drunken idiot was your friend, steering him outside, hoping the fresh air can sober him up
"Why were you talking to him?"
"I didn't mean to! He's just been really nice to me all night."
"He's up to something y/n, it's a trick."
You thought so too, in the beginning, but it didn't seem like that now. . .
His words hurt, like it was unbelievable anyone in the whole school, even a legacy, could like you and flirt with you at a party
"You don't know what you're talking about."
"They're bad guys y/n, Viktor is a bad guy. Do you really think he could possibly like you?"
He knew as soon as he said it, it was a mistake, watching your expression change from annoyance to hurt
No matter how drunk he was, no amount of alcohol could have made what he said okay, it made his stomach drop
"Go home Marcus," you sigh. "I can take care of myself."
You slam the door in his face, bumping into Viktor on your way back in, who was concerned about the unlikely fight you had with Marcus
You knew it was a 180 in his personality, that he'd been a jerk all school year, but part of you hoped it was because he was alone, because no one was watching, and there were no expectations to be cruel, that he was acting like a normal human being
The only one who knew, though, was Viktor, and you had to be ready for any scenario, any outcome, and you would be
He even looked upset at your sudden change in mood
"I'm okay, promise," you shook your empty cup. "I think I need a refill."
"That I can help with."

Fav game character
Tumblr media
Tina and her parents were sold to Hyperion to become test subjects for Jack's slag mutation experiments, an event which led to the deaths of her parents. She escaped their fate using a grenade that she had hidden in her dress at her mother's insistence, and once she was free of Hyperion's reach she vowed revenge on the man that had sold her family: Flesh-Stick.
Involvement
Borderlands 2
Tiny Tina's demolitions expertise is called into action when a Hyperion supply train believed to be carrying a Vault key needs to be stopped. With that objective in sight, she then sets the Vault Hunters to the task of finding two rockets (which she refers to as 'badonkadonks') to carry a 'suicide'-bomber toy each, and then to set them on target.
Her collaboration with the Vault Hunters continues when she has them gather items and guests for a very special tea party. During the final mission Tina will contact the Vault Hunters and wish them luck in stopping Hyperion and even reads them a poem repeatedly telling the Vault Hunters to 'kill Jack'.
Mr. Torgue's Campaign of Carnage
Tina appears in a supporting role in Mr. Torgue's Campaign of Carnage. Initially she is hired by Mad Moxxi to help the Vault Hunters train prior to battling Motor Momma, but also asks their assistance in obtaining the autograph of her third favorite mass-murderer, Sully the Stabber, as well as walking her "puppy", a Badass Fire Skag named Enrique. She also provides commentary on many of the Vault Hunters' actions throughout the course of the DLC.
Tiny Tina's Assault on Dragon Keep
Tina takes on the role of the 'Bunker Master' for the game 'Bunkers & Badasses', where she is shown to be bad at this, by fumbling in such ways as creating impossible fights early on and not balancing the gameplay in certain areas. The real problems underlying Tina's mental state (at that time) start becoming more apparent as the player progresses, being obsessed with eating only crumpets and constantly trying to insert a manifestation of the now deceased Roland whenever she wants to, to the dismay of the other Vault Hunters. Tiny Tina's character develops over the course of the campaign and she learns to accept Roland's death.
Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel
Tina makes her first appearance during the game while Lilith was interrogating Athena, inviting the Vault Hunters to play another round of Bunkers and Badasses, but was turned down. Later, after Athena finishes telling her story, Tina introduces herself and requests Athena to tell a story about fighting a raid boss. As she had no idea what a raid boss was, she "came up" with a story about fighting one (in this case, the raid boss being an enhanced version of The Sentinel). After that, Tina requests Athena to tell the story of her working for Handsome Jack again.
Borderlands 3
At the time of Borderlands 3, Tina is presumed to be around 20 years old. She is still part of the Crimson Raiders B-Team along with Brick and Mordecai. The team is hired by Wainwright Jakobs to rescue his partner Sir Hammerlock, but after they fail to report back on their progress, Jakobs requests the Vault Hunter to go The Anvil to investigate setting up the story mission Hammerlocked. Tina's code name during the mission is 'Crunk Bunny'. Tina requests 'ingredients' for her 'Pizza' (bomb), composed of 'sauce' (nitroglycerin), 'onions' (wires) and 'ham' (a detonator). She then asks the Vault Hunter to deliver the pizza, which is to blow up the door to the structure where Hammerlock is being held. After successfully rescuing Hammerlock, she declares that the B-team's work is done and they leave Eden-6. Tina is found later on Devil's Razor back on Pandora, where she or Brick will give the mission Boom Boom Boomtown. She asks the Vault Hunter for help in winning back their new home and base of operations, recently named by Tina as "Boom Town", by fighting off COV that have been sneaking in thru a tunnel that Brick is keeping the COV locked inside.

"I wanna shoot the cannon again! AGAIN! But Lil said no. BLEEPING CURSE WORDS!"
"You kiddos killed that butt-bot so, so good! (cackle) Butt-bot."
"Come on, Mordy. You got this! You gonna be all right."
"MORDY'S ALL BETTER AND ELLIE FIXED THE CAMP'S COFFEE MACHINE AND I CAN'T STOP YELLING ABOUT EITHER ONE OF THOSE THINGS!"
"Yo yo yo. You kill that vineyman up on vineyville yet?"

The photo of Tina and Roland
She is introduced as an old friend of Roland's and she has a picture of them together in her room. Roland also mentions beforehand that, "I've saved her life a few times, and she has saved mine more times than I can count."
In Borderlands 2, there are a few unique weapons that are associated with Tiny Tina. These weapons include pink hearted camouflage and/or stuffed bunny image decals.

Cobra
Boom Puppy
Tina's voice is performed by Ashly Burch, sister of Anthony Burch - lead writer of Borderlands 2. (The two are also a part of the web series Hey Ash, Whatcha Playin'?.) She is also credited with the voice of the cursed gun, Bane.
Tina has unusual gender-specific dialogue, referring to both male and female Vault Hunters as "girl". She also makes a number of sexual comments in an appreciative manner in regards the female members of her tea party, whilst during the Assault on Dragon Keep storyline she confesses to liking Maya in The Siren's invitation, asking if Maya likes her in turn. Additionally, her original motivation for helping the Vault Hunters train for Mad Moxxi was going to be due to her having a crush on Mad Moxxi.
Tina switches verbal mannerisms frequently. Her speech styles include a stereotypical inner-city American speech pattern, little girl speech patterns, stereotypically pretentious British English speech, to randomly violent and murderous speech, and others.
Trivia
There is an Easter egg related to Hey Ash, Whatcha Playin'? in the Mr. Torgue's Campaign of Carnage. On the back of Tiny Tina's bus is a pixel drawing of Papa Burch riding a unicorn from the HAWP episode 'Sleep Is Death'.
Roland recognizes her as one of the greatest demolitions experts on Pandora and a picture of the two can be seen inside of her home.
Tiny Tina is mentioned by Brick on a mission in Sawtooth Cauldron as he recalls carrying her on his shoulders as they fought together. In the end credits, it is shown that they worked together again in this manner cleaning out the remaining Hyperion forces.
ExotropiaTina has an intermittent exotropia (lazy eye) in her left eye. This was originally due to a glitch, but the developers enjoyed it, so they purposefully left it in. This has also passed on to Borderlands 3, as her left eye will occasionally twitch while talking.
In NowGamer, an interview revealed that there is part of a mission removed from the main game involving Tina. Originally, when telling of Roland's death, the players were to head out to Tiny Tina's home and tell her the sad news. It described her being deeply affected by it, thanking the players for telling her, asking them to leave, and locking herself in her workshop to mourn. Anthony Burch, lead writer and the source of this news, says they regret they could not include this scene into the game. It was supposed to be the only moment in the game she loses her peppy mania [1].
Her tea party place card is labeled "Lady Tina of Blowupyourfaceheim"
On May 24, 2013, Tina took over the @ECHOcasts Twitter (previously owned by Krieg).

In the Commander Lilith & the Fight for Sanctuary DLC, Tiny Tina, Mordecai and Brick form a team simply named "The B-Team".
Tiny Tina refers to Brick as "Brick-papa" and Mordecai as "Mordy-mom". This is further mentioned when Brick says "Don't talk like that to your mom." to Tina.
It is revealed in Sheega's All That that Sheega is an ex-girlfriend of Tiny Tina.
ECHO logs in Devil's Razor reveal that Tiny Tina has dated multiple individuals, broke up with all of them, and staged a wedding to make money from the wedding gifts sent by her exes.
