Phases

Life with a significant other has its phases: the new relationship phase (so exciting), the honeymoon phase, making a home (getting settled), juggling career/relationship (so busy), settling into a rhythm (getting resettled), the kids grow up and leave (a new freedom)... the ebbs and flows of relationships as time goes on.

Life flows from one season right into the next without you even realizing it, or sometimes stops you in your tracks. When you or your s/o start a new job or lose a job, or you move to a new city for whatever reason, or you have kids, or deal with serious health issues, all of these things are disruptive. A new job or a new baby will move to the forefront of our attention and our relationship with our s/o hopefully enters the building and supporting each other phase. It can wear you out.

Sometimes the ebbs and flows do not go smoothly because we are all human. Throw in family dynamics, deeply embedded cultural and societal traits and norms, our weirdo personalities and that makes each of our experiences and how we cope individually unique.

But a strong relationship finds its way through the rough spots if two people are really committed to the relationship and to each other.

Growth, expansion, evolution... important in sustaining relationships because if we don’t change as time goes on, we have trouble adjusting to what is happening in our lives.

2022 was a year of disruption for BTS and the guys individually. We all felt it big time. But that doesn’t mean anything fell apart. Our normal was disrupted. Now growth is happening. Evolution and all those other deep thinking words.

When you think about the dynamic between Jungkook and Jimin, remember that JK is/was a little possessive of his Jiminie. He’s not letting him go, remember? Be jealous and all that...and Jimin has a heart as big as the universe and turns things around and around to see all sides of a matter.

So when we think about Jimin roaming the planet working with producers, artists and other idols here and there... we as fans feel some kind of way about it. Of course Kookie is going to feel some kind of way about it too.

Between them, their relationship has no other option now but to grow. What people are wanting to describe as “distant” is inaccurate. A better word would be to call it maturing. Maturity in your relationship is being ok with your partner freely pursuing their individual interests and friends.

We know JK is not the constant self-reflecting type but at some point in the future, our live-in-the-moment Bun Bun will realize he had some personal growth during this time. It’ll be good for him.

And our precious Jiminie will also realize he’s grown professionally and personally. I am so thrilled for him. And we have the privilege of watching this happen in real time.

And now they can watch and support each other doing things they’ve not had the chance to do yet... like when Jimin was watching Jungkook on that stage in Qatar, you know Jimin was beaming with pride.

Now we have a date for Jimin’s new solo career to launch with this collaboration with Taeyang. I promise you that JK is going to be paying close attention, just like us.

on chises family, "a storm brewing in the east," and future arcs

hello im back from two years of not posting on this sideblog to spitball a theory thats been burning a hole in my brain since i caught up with the manga. all loose speculation, id be extremely interested to hear thoughts on this

now that fumiki is back in the picture, id like to theorize that yuuki hatori will soon follow. for the purpose of this theory im going to skip all the reasons why yori is absolutely fumiki. imo theres no point addressing all the evidence here, but id be happy to summarize if not. more attention being paid to chises life in japan, chise wondering why her father "abandoned his role," and elias expressing curiosity over the circumstances that led her to meet seth are all hints towards yuukis story coming to light

one thing TAMB does that i love is how tertiary characters are facsimiles meant to help us understand our main characters. for example, all the "toxic" pairs we see in season 1 that we are meant to compare and contrast elias and chise to, all in various ways that help us understand the ways their relationship might evolve. these minor characters may seem unimportant, but are preparing us to accept developments in the main cast. i believe there are two characters in the college arc that are prepping us for yuuki hatoris story - seth noel and adam sargent

lets first address fumiki, who ill just call yori. yori seems to have mastery over his eyes, which "have the power to bind [fae]" according to gabriella. this is a power both he and yuuki have, which protects chise and chika for a time. however, chika implies in chapter 19 that he didnt always have this ability, or perhaps didnt have the sight at all until he became involved with her. which is strange, considering yori has a "family business" important enough to require he study abroad to train for:

lets run with the idea that yuuki started off with weak or nonexistent powers. have any other men in this series been booted from their families because they lacked the skill?

its possible that this "family business" (assuming yuuki didnt found it himself, and that yori doesnt just mean the church, which i dont think he does because he seems specialized in exorcism) eventually learned that yuuki acquired his binding powers, as well as a child with the same ability. again, are there are other men who are forcibly dragged back into their family, to the detriment of their young daughters?

theres a few reasons why i think such care and time was put into the backstory of philomelas family. chise has done much of the character growth thats possible for her at this time, and attempts to "fix" philomela as a way of fixing herself. she projects on her, and for good reason too, since we are meant to compare them almost 1:1. i believe that the amount of time sunk into adam sargents story is meant to warm us up to understanding yuukis situation, regardless of whether we are meant to forgive him for his abandonment. seths story, too, introduces us to the idea of magical families booting their unworthy kin. which leads us to:

going back to the screencap for the beginning, lets give yuuki the benefit of the doubt and assume hes being truthful when he promises hell be back for the girls one day. this phrasing is really interesting, and i feel like it implies yuuki knows the place hes going is too dangerous for them. assuming hes returning to his family, or to some sort of organization (which i say because yori is part of the conclave/church), perhaps hes afraid that theyll be taken advantage of. or... maybe he was just lying! there is very little we understand about the church, so there are all manner of reasons why yuuki and yori may have ended up involved with them

so, great, okay. fumiki is here, and yuuki may be coming soon. under what context might he show his face? i have some ideas, but this soon into the arc everything is too subject to change. im also not convinced any of this will be addressed in the fiendbane arc. after all, yori was first introduced at the beginning of the college arc, and is only now becoming relevant. so all of this may only be laying the groundwork for yuuki to return in another arc, if not this one, which appears to have a lot cooking already with the dragon, the new mage, etc. but then again, we get oberons little prophecy:

i think we all understand this is japan, right. like, it has to be. it doesnt seem that oberons phrasing in the JP text matches what the great wall of china is called in japanese, but i dont think we are meant to interpret it any other way. what else could it mean, hadrians wall? cmon

all of this focus on chises family, past, and meeting with seth are perhaps warming us up to these people and places becoming relevant when the storm breaks. and i believe yori and yuuki will be the ones to involve chise in it all. now, at this point its clear yori doesnt know who chise is, and is just as likely to not know he had a sister at all. but i think this guy knows:

now... i double checked, and im almost certain this is not seths bodyguard. they have similar hair and fashion, but seths bodyguard parts his hair to the side. its been so long since yuuki has appeared in the manga that its impossible to know for sure if this is him, and im not confident at all that he is. they share some qualities for sure, but that doesnt mean much in this medium. he certainly has yoris swooping hair, at least, so if hes not yuuki he might still be related to him. in the same family business, perhaps? all we know is that hes been here before, and may have been keeping tabs on them in the same way the church does

the use of "wrest" in the above panel is notable here. to wrest is to forcibly take something, and what kind of "blessing" would they want to seize from elias' possession? maybe a useful slay vega that yuuki failed to disclose? if, IF this is yuuki, his demeanor has changed much over the years, and perhaps he is more willing to put chise to use now that he knows where she is. its possible yuuki is making good on his promise, and really is coming back for his daughter like he said he would. we have, after all, seen in chapter 99 how liam and isaac are both unwilling to return to their homes, and the sudden development of philomela being taken in by the scrimgeours. again, philomela is meant to be a near 1:1 chise dupe, so its compelling that we are just now seeing her spirited away to join another family without warning. again, developments among secondary characters prep us for developments among the main cast

again, too soon to tell, and the next chapter is coming soon, so theres a chance this will all immediately blow up in my face. however, we have already seen chise get scouted by another mage, and elias considers how frightened he is that chise will desire something "he cant provide." so how catastrophic would it be if she was also compelled to rejoin her family, searching for answers and closure in a way elias cannot understand? personally id love to see it, though itll be a long way off

a least to most likely list of which of the robins would hide injuries

dick, is surprisingly the least likely to hide injuries. he got told sence he was able to walk and do stunts that improperly cared for injuries could not only harm him but other performers and thats stuck with him. add in being the leader of the teen titans and trying to set a good example for them, hes fully open with his injuries when hes hurt.

--dick has a spread sheet of injury and when he got them, he thinks it funny

tim is the second least likely to hide injuries, now this is only because in the first year or two of being robin haveing a infection or improperly cared for wound would take him out of the field and away from doing damage control with bruce. and now its just a habit too keep track of his injuries

---tim would hid older injuries that wouldn't effects his field capabilities (spleen spleen spleen) but not anything recent or pressing

up next is duke! duke as the leader of the we are robins thing has had to deal with idiots under his command hideing injuries and he refuses to add that stress onto bruce and alfred. he knows how annoying and worrying it is to have to wonder if your people are actually field ready or lieing too you.

--he would only hid injuries if they came from civilian life or for a stupid thing like triping off a roof or swinging into a wall, but like tim he wouldnt if it was something big or would affect his capabilities

steph is next up, were edgeing into would definitely hide shit, steph does not see bruce as a parent and barely sees him as a boss. shes a latch key kid with a terrible dad and a try her best but not get mom, no way in hell would she come out with injuries outload but she would let alfred treat her if it came up. prefers to go to Leslie cause she trusts her more, and as such bruce usually only hears about her injuries after the fact.

---steph fully mocks bruce that if he was the worlds greatest detective he would know when shes hurt, goes to Leslie or alfred if its really bad

this was a toss up, but damian is next, assassins dont really lend them selves to being good people to tell that your injured, even the ones ment to serve you. damian is basically allergic to telling anyone anything is actually wrong with him ever, unless its him and bruce one of one. bruce is essentially the only person he trusts enough to admit hes injured.

--getting damian to admit hes injured is like trying to give a feral cat a bath, no one likes doing it but its necessary sometimes

jason!! second to last on the list, jason would actually fully chew off his own leg then tell the bats hes injured ever. not only because he doesn't trust 90% of them not to use it to fuck him over, but also because bruce will become simultaneously the most helicopter parent and the emotional brick wall the second he knows Jason's hurt, its honestly worse then being shot to see him try and ground jason like hes still a child, while also being full emotional brick wall batman mode

--jason has pushed tim down the bottomless pit in the cave before just so he could bolt before bruce could quarantine him in the cave cause he got hurt, jason would fully fist fight his way out of the batfam then ever admit hes hurt

and to round it off cass! cass will slink away to hide and lick her wound and you would never know shes hurt unless she lets you. raised as a weapon i dont think David cain was the kinda person to treat an injury with anything other then disappointment, and cass still sees her own injury as failures in her training. shes fully capable of doing most of her own medical care and useing it to her advantage in avoiding telling anyone her injuries.

--cass broke her arm once and as soon as it was put in a cast no one saw her tell it was fully healed. not even bruce is sure where she was or what she was doing during those months

- THREE OF CLUBS

you’ve been tapping the heels of your feet onto the floor for nearly 30 minutes, replaying a rhythm you are unable to remember. to others, it just plays off as though you’re enjoying the party music that assaults your senses- but in actuality, you’re arguing with it. though you try, you cannot combat the obnoxious noise that shakes through your body.

“hey” his slightly raspy voice makes you jump, but chishiya seems as though he was aiming for that reaction.

“dont sneak up on me like that…” you’re holding your hand to your heart while he smirks, sitting on the beach chair beside you in front of the pool

“it was a perfect moment. what are you doing here? shouldn’t you be sleeping?” hes right, its still dark outside- and you’re not exactly thriving in the club areas. you’re not exactly sure why you’re not in your room either, or possibly exploring the resort.

“i just wanted to not be alone i suppose”. it seems sadder than it is, but you like the feeling of being alone, not being lonely. and if sitting by rabid beach members alleviates that loneliness- then you’ll welcome it gladly.

chishiya plays it off like he understands, but he honestly doesn’t. he thrives off of his own self, and he rarely can tolerate being around more than 3 people at once, let alone a crowd. to him, he has no benefit from being around others- especially if they’re overbearing like the majority of those in the beach. it just simply isnt his scene.

“if you say so.”

neither of you speak, simply sitting there beside each other as the wind blows tougher, and you can sense chishiya has ran back to the comfort of his own mind. its odd, he seems to always be in thought- but youre too freshly involved to get to ask him what it is he’s debating inside.

chishiya knows he’s ethically wrong for this, he took an oath to do no evil, yet here he was- sitting beside you as though he is your friend while mapping out an idea that will most likely get you killed for his own benefits. and he thinks he’ll start to take advantage of the things you’re opening up to him about. it doesn’t make him feel too good, but he stands up and looks at you before speaking

“come with me.”

chishiya leads you up a wounding tower of stairs, and you secretly wonder if he decided not to use the elevator just to make fun of you losing your breath over climbing up multiple stories. eventually, you hit the top of the stairs, and he forces open a metal door, leading straight to the roof.

“oh wow!” you’re impressed. the view from the roof is beautiful, and the people downstairs seem so small and little. from here, you can see the greenery attacking the city- and somehow it is comforting.

however, you get the feeling chishiya hasn’t led you up here to show off the new world to you. the air is tenser than before, and uncertainty runs deep inside of you.

he notices the atmosphere as well, and moves a bit closer to you to whisper, as though the people on the ground can hear his words.

“hatter will want to see what you’re capable of soon. i know your visa has days left, but he needs to know what you can bring to the table.”

“i didn’t know i needed to audition for some guy. and we had a game together, can’t you just vouch for me?” you’d rather not get thrown into another murderous game so quickly- you have only had such little time to recover mentally, and now you had to join another potential bloodbath? you don’t bother to look at chishiya, you’re already becoming absorbed by the mass possibilities of what this future game will present you with. he just observes you, noticing how you begin to bite on the inside of your cheek and cracking your knuckles in front of you.

the actions bother him, your anxious mood making him furrow his brows and gnaw on his lip, and after a long silence- chishiya betrays his own self by replying to you

“i’ll find a way to get us together when the day comes.” though the sentence is short, and the blonde immediately begins to walk away after speaking, you know in your own way that chishiya wants to give you his support.

the days leading up until your next game go by fast, and chishiya notices how uncharacteristic he begins to behave. he actively searches for you throughout the day, and with every small moment you learn more about him.

he tells you about how he mainly practices in a pediatric hospital, but strays from the conversation of his own younger memories. finding that you have a unique interest in reading, you both begin to venture for books within the conference rooms of the resort. you admit that your confidant helps you with the budding anxiety of the inevitable game- and you’ve been able to branch out to others as well. kuina has been a common late-night partner of yours, with her it feels as though you are meeting a friend in the true world. your conversations are light and airy, but you both connect on an emotional level as well with ease.

kuina has helped you to meet others as well- like the boy with the cap you saw in your last game, who’s name you’ve learned is tatta. with him, he seems to follow more of ann’s directions- you can’t blame him, she’s probably one of the least intimidating executives the beach has.

you can hear the horns and yelling downstairs, and you recognize it as the time for the late night games. soon after, there’s a knocking on your door. you don’t have to think about who it is, and you only pray that he managed to get you both in the hellsent game together.

when you open your door, chishiya’s face is unreadable. he observes you from under his white hood, zipper head grazing his lower sternum- and is that eyeliner…?

he just nods his head as a greeting, giving a low wave you as you mumble a “hi” and close the door behind you. you hid the bottom of your swimsuit with the sweatpants you had worn before, and an athletic jacket ontop. chishiya doesn’t wait for you, and starts to walk towards the elevator on your floor- speaking without bothering to look at you.

“i tried my best, tatta will be joining us.”

this is all he says to you, he doesn’t even reply to your thanks, simply staring forward at the elevator doors. you get a sense of deja vu from the experience.

if you thought the silence from your room to the lobby was killer, the ride to the game itself made you claustrophobic.

you could feel the alcoholism from the man sitting in the passenger seat, emanating from his breath and marinating into the roughened seats of the car. his loud guffaws while he told some falsified story of his previous games to the stoned girl that sat beside you in the backseat who simply egged on his already high ego. chishiya sits on your right side, but stares out the car window with his music playing- and tatta drives the car stiffly. you can read the nervousness in his eyes when he looks into the rear mirror and sees your face before quickly paying attention to the road once more.

you’re rather uncomfortable, shuffling more towards chishiya once the girl next to you begins to start talking with her hands- and making obscene motions. chishiya practically hugs the car door so you dont touch his shoulder, and you try your best not to. the air is stifling, and you just resort to closing your eyes while shaking your leg to try and calm yourself. you can faintly hear chishiya’s music that he’s been blasting in his ears, and try to focus on that instead of the drunk dude in the front talking about how he screwed some chick a day ago.

secretly, chishiya notices this- he sees how your leg starts to bounce to the rhythm of his old music, and your breaths have gone into harmony with his own. he simply just raises the volume more, ignoring the slight discomfort he begins to experience from the loudness.

when you arrive, the game arena simply seems like a recording studio. its when you grab a phone the counter, that you notice something is different. the phones are protected in casing- and the individual mic room has metal flooring and rusted metal walls. tatta stands beside you, following your line of sight and also seeing the thick metal hinges on the bottom of the other room, unlike the red carpet of the studio where you are directed into.

there are buttons and microphones lodged into the silver counter in the studio, a mesh cover sits over a thick, soundproof, glass window into the other room, joined by a thick metal door on the left.

the girl speaks, her hair moving upwards as she begins to clip it up. “is this going to be some sort of skill game? we doing karaoke here or something?” she laughs, and the drunken man shakes his head- quickly sobering up as compared to his behavior in the vehicle not too long ago.

“something’s up, that door is too thick for something as trivial as that.” he’s right, the door is to protect those in the room- or maybe , hold whatever is in the other room back.

GAME REGISTRATION CLOSED! THERE ARE FIVE PLAYERS, THE GAME WILL NOW BEGIN.

you can hardly pay attention, because the tiny arena begins to creek loudly- and as the feminine robotic voice continues her spoken instructions, you lift your head up to view the studio.

the recording room’s metal floor has begun to open up, and water rises to meet the hinges of the flooring. there is no light, just dark water in the opening of the floor.

DIFFICULTY: 3 OF CLUBS!

RULES: FIND THE CODES AND INPUT THEM INTO THE CORRECT ORDER. THE SET WILL BE FOUND UNDERWATER, AND THE ORDER IS WITHIN THE CONTROL STUDIO. YOU HAVE TWO CHANCES TO PUT THE CORRECT CODE ORDER IN. AT LEAST TWO PEOPLE MUST BE IN EACH ROOM AT ALL TIMES. AFTER 30 MINUTES, IF NEITHER ATTEMPT IS CORRECT, IT WILL BE A GAME OVER AND BOTH ROOMS WILL BE GASSED.

30 minutes to move in the dark? were these codes supposed to be divine messages from some guardian angel ?

chishiya wastes no time, quickly moving a swivel chair as the phones begin to count down from 5 minutes- 5minutes to decide who will be in each room.

he begins searching the room like a maniac- even though tatta shyly calls his name.

“chishiya… we need to uhm, figure out how this is going to work.” he simply lets out a gruff “uhuh” while tossing some old vinyls in a box to the floor.

“well nice to know youre helpful! now i’m not that great at swimming- i grew up on the countryside so i dont think im the best bet for this. how about you eh?” the drunk man nudges the younger lady- her eyes dizzy with a reply to his taller stature.

“well… i did middle school swim club … but that was before i moved away-“ he wastes no time, grabbing her wrist and forcefully dragging her towards the metal door despite her protests. “then you’re perfect for the job! who else?!” he scans the room, landing his gaze on you. “can you swim?”

theres about 2 minutes left on the countdown and you resist letting out a laugh in his face. “so are you determining people’s roles now? it seems like you’re just trying to deflect having a role in this altogether.” you say, avoiding answering his question.

he seems ticked off, sneering as he walks closer to you- making you look up at him but your stare doesn’t waver. “you know what, i recall someone saying this was hatter’s game run for you…” he eyes you, looking down at your body and back at your face “so who better to fill the empty spot than you..!”

you can feel your heart drop a little, but internally- you know you should’ve expected it. chishiya eyes you from the side of the room, subtly nodding his head and you know you’ve hit a wall.

the gravity of the situation doesn’t hit until the countdown ends, and the metal door slamming against the wall and locking shut isolates you and the other girl from the three men in the other room. it is silent, and no matter how hard you try, you cannot hear those in the control room.

the girl’s arm is shaking, and you’re not exactly confident in the abilities she has to carry this game to its end.

in front of the glass window, is a table with two headsets- and you hand the girl the other one. chishiya looks at you from his seat behind the control panel, eyes behind the mesh cover of the glass window. he has pity for you.

Hello! I hope you are all having an amazing day! Im 20+ looking for others 20+ to possible RP out an MxM Omegaverse idea I've been thinking of for awhile now!

The general gist of it is our characters are investigators for a series of crimes. Maybe our characters tend to work alone and were partnered together for this particular case or maybe they have always been partners, but either way they dislike each other heavily. I have an Omega OC I'd like to use for this, he's rude, mean, tired, and more than willing to pushback. If your OC happens to be an Alpha, the dislike on my characters end would be due to bad past experiences with Alphas. Maybe your character dislikes mine from how aggressive he comes across as or maybe he has his own reasoning entirely! I would like for this to be slow burn with something eventually happening later down the line that gets them both to finally see eye to eye and opening to door for the possibility of feelings developing for one another over time.

I'd like for the two of us to be able to plot out this idea further, ironing out all the details of it, for what this universe is like, what crimes our characters are investigating, etc, All of that good stuff! Given the subject matter, I dont mind if this goes in a bit of a gritty dark route either in regards to the crimes our OCs investigate or even between our characters themselves! Maybe my character forgot to take his heat surpressants and goes into heat at some point during the investigations and your character takes advantage of him in this state, maybe your character forcefully puts the investigation on pause to get my character somewhere safe to ride out his heat on his own. Maybe your character enforces mines already sour opinion of Alphas, maybe he helps him heal and see that not all Alphas are as bad as the ones he has met in the past. I think theres plenty directions it can go and that it'd be interesting to explore them! NSFW isn't a must nor is it something I am actively looking for but given the universe this takes place in, I wouldn't mind if things went in that direction either! All I ask is that we discuss everything before hand if youd want NSFW down the line so we can discuss kinks, limits, etc.

While I know this plot is geared a bit more towards Alpha characters, your character DOES NOT have to be an Alpha! I welcome Alphas, Betas, and even other Omegas! I'd be more than willing to adjust certain details here and there along side you to better fit whatever your characters secondary gender is!

If you have any ideas you'd want to add into this plot, feel free to let me know! If you have any completely different plot ideas entirely that you have been just dying to play out, feel free to let me know! I'd love to hear any ideas you may have and work something out with you!

My reply length tends to be on the more longer side and I'd prefer yours be too, but I will try my best to mirror you! Just no one liners please, Id like to have something to work with!

Lastly, Ooc chat isnt a necessity at all but would be appreciative! Id love to be able to talk to and maybe even make new friends but thats not a requirement or a deal breaker if youd rather stick to the roleplay/roleplay-related chatting.

Request for @i-dont-care-lol: Can you make a fic in which both of them are stargazing and bantering (ofc it's a wells so yeah) and then just comes to the topic of "hey ever had a crush on anyone" and Nash is like" no I don't do crushes" and the reader just doubts him too much when he tries to ignore that feeling (oops forgot to mention that reader is an empath) so and then he is all like "ok you wanna know then " and then kiss her, and just kind of relieved that her one sided crush isn't a one sided one?

A/N: I'm a terrible person. I got this request a while ago and I meant to write it as soon as I got it but *life* and *school* and *mental health* didn't let me. I'm super sorry. On another note I have never written reader being an empath so apologies in advance for my poor attempt on it. :)

"What no! You cheated!"

You rolled your eyes. You and Nash had borrowed Cisco's switch to play a good ole game of Mario Karts.

Or so you thought. Nash had taken a shortcut in the last race, taking first place from you.

"Shortcuts are not cheats they're just advantage points if you know how to use them," Nash said with a grin on his face.

"Cheater," you pouted with your arms crossed.

He chuckled as he leaned in, "You're just mad you lost."

"Am not."

"Are too."

"Okay kids! Uncle Cisco here wants his game back," came an amused voice from behind you.

You rolled you eyes and huffed in annoyance as you went to leave.

"Where are you going?" Nash called called out to you as he handed Cisco the game.

"Out," came your short reply.

Nash sighed as he ran after you.

"Are you upset just because of that?"

"I'm not upset," you answered is a frustrated tone.

Nash had caught up to you.

"Well it sure seems like it."

You let out a frustrated huff as you kept walking.

The truth was you didn't know why you felt upset. The entire day you had felt frustrated. You couldn't understand why if you had spent the entire day with the man who made your heart flutter.

"Where are we even going?" Nash asked as you started up the stairs of STAR Labs.

"To the roof."

"Why?" Came Nash's confused voice as you continued going up the long staircase, "And why couldn't we just have used the elevator?"

You gave a light giggle. "You'll see."

Nash couldn't help by smile at hearing you giggle. He had offered to have you tag along with him today because you were bored of being stuck in the lab all the time and not because he may or may not enjoy being around you. He glanced up at you as you reached the top of stairs, waiting for him. He smiled softly as he shook his head and followed behind you.

As you stepped out onto the roof, you looked up at the sky. The stars were out and shining bright. You let out a content sigh as you walked towards the edge of the roof, sitting down with your legs dangling over the edge. Nash sat down next to you, taking in the sparking Central City.

"This is nice," he commented as he looked up at the sky.

"Yeah, it is," you agreed with a smile.

There was a comfortable silence between you two for a few minutes as you both enjoyed the peacefulness of the night sky.

As Nash sat there beside you, he couldn't help but feel a sense of contentment wash over him. Being with you always had a way of calming him down and making him feel at ease, even when he was feeling nervous or uncertain. He glanced over at you, taking in the way your face was illuminated by the starlight, and couldn't help but feel a twinge of something he couldn't quite put his finger on.

You were watching the many bright stars along the sky, lost in thought. A sense of peace and calm washed over you.You felt safe, content, at ease.

You also felt...

Loved?

Your eyes widen in surprise. It couldn't be...

Could it?

No.

It must be your feelings that you're sensing. It couldn't possibly be his.

But yet-

"Hey, (Y/N)," Nash suddenly spoke up, breaking the silence.

"Yeah?" you turned to look at him, trying to hide the nervousness you felt.

"Have you ever had a crush on anyone?" he asked, his voice casual, as if asking what you had had for lunch.

You were completely taken back by his question.

"That definitely not random," you say trying to alleviate the sudden lump that had formed in your throat. Was it getting hotter?

Nash noticed the way your face had paled slightly and the way you nervously shifted on the spot. He realized his question may have come across as too forward and he mentally cursed himself for not being more subtle.

He tried to backtrack, "I mean, it's okay if you don't want to answer. I was just curious."

You let out a small sigh of relief and gave him a small smile, "No, it's okay. It's just that your question caught me off guard. And to answer your question, yes, I have had a crush on someone before. Why do you ask?" As soon as you said that you felt something bothering you, a prickling emotion that made you frown. Jealously.

You shook you head lightly. What was happening?

"What about you? Have you ever had a crush on anyone?" You asked, with a hint of defensiveness trickling in your voice. You were startled by it, about to apologize when Nash turned to look at you. "No, I don't do crushes," he answered nonchalantly, but his eyes said something else as you felt a wave of bottled emotion wash over you.

You're lying.

"What?"

You realized you had said that out loud as you met Nash's bewildered eyes.

You should apologize. You should leave it be. But you were convinced that what you had been feeling wasn't just your feelings.

Screw it.

"You're lying," you repeated, more confidently this time. "I can sense it. There's something you're not saying" Nash's eyes widened in surprise, and he shifted uncomfortably beside you. "I don't know what you're talking about," he said, his voice slightly strained. "Yes, you do," you insisted, turning to face him fully. "I don't know why you're hiding it, but I can feel that there's something more there. I've been feeling it all night. There's something you're afraid to admit."

Nash's eyes widened in shock, his body language betraying him. You could tell he was caught off guard by your accusation, but you weren't going to let him off the hook that easily. You needed answers.

"I don't know what you're talking about," he said, his voice slightly strained, his hands fidgeting nervously at his sides.

But you weren't buying it. You could feel it in your gut that there was more to this story than he was letting on. You took a step closer to him, your eyes locked onto his, and you spoke with unwavering conviction.

"Yes, you do," you insisted, your tone unwavering.

The atmosphere between you and Nash had changed. The easygoing vibe you both had been feeling was now replaced with something more tense and awkward. You looked at Nash, who was now avoiding your gaze. You let out a sigh, not knowing what to say. Maybe you had been wrong in confronting him like that. Maybe he really didn't have feelings for you, and you had just misinterpreted everything.

"I'm sorry," you said, breaking the silence. "I shouldn't have said that. It's not my place to push you to say anything you don't want to.

Another beat of silence.

You were overcome by a feeling of rejection and embarrassment.

"I'll go-"

"You're not wrong. There is something I'm hiding."

You continued to look at Nash, waiting for him to say something. Nash let out a sigh and turned to look at you.

"Okay, fine. You caught me," he said with a small smile, trying to ease the tension. "I have had a crush on someone before."

Your heart skipped a beat at his words. Was he talking about you? You tried to remain calm as you asked, "Who was it?"

Nash looked down at his hands and fidgeted with his fingers. "It doesn't matter now. It was a long time ago, and nothing ever came of it."

You felt a twinge of disappointment at his words, but you tried not to let it show. "Oh," you said, trying to keep your voice light.

Nash looked up at you, and you could see the hesitation in his eyes. "But, there is someone else I have feelings for," he said, his voice barely above a whisper.

Your heart felt like it was going to beat out of your chest. He couldn't possibly be talking about-

"It's you."

You looked at Nash, feeling a sense of happiness wash over you. "Nash, I..." you started, but he interrupted you.

"I know, I know," Nash said, looking down. "You don't feel the same way. I get it."

"Nash, that's not what I was going to say," you said, reaching out to touch his arm.

"It's okay-wait what?"

You smiled softly, scooting closer to him.

"I've had feelings for you for a long time now, but I didn't want to ruin our friendship by telling you. I always felt lots of different emotions and at first I thought I was going crazy but now I get why," you said shyly.

He looked at you, searching your eyes for anything that would betray your words, but all he found was warmth and adoration.

"I would very much like to kiss you." It was his turn to be shy.

You smiled as you inched closer to him. "Well by all means please do."

Without another word, he leaned in and pressed your lips against his. As you deepened the kiss, Nash's hands found their way to your face, pulling you closer to him. The kiss was soft and gentle at first, but it quickly grew more passionate, fueled by the unspoken emotions that had been building between you two for so long. As you finally pulled away, you rested your forehead against Nash's, both of you breathing heavily.

He grinned as he pressed another light kiss on your lips, contentment and love filling him, as he looked at you.

"Do you feel it too?"

You smiled and nodded.

"More than you know."

I wanted to just let you guys know that its just been really hard to find motivation to write for a while and I was pretty depressed but Im doing stuff for me and moving out and going to classes so I feel much better. Hoped you guys enjoyed and im so sorry for taking so long.

14 BL Men i would allow to steal my heart on the 14th of Feburary.

Happy Valentine

My first and longest Relationship of four years ended just two Weeks ago. and what do we do to get over men? we stan more men. So this post is me Fangirling BL Characters.

Note: i thought about if i wanted this to be actors or Characters, but in the end i dont know anything about the actors, so that would be purely phisical wich is kinda boring, so this will be abour Charakters more then actors ( but lets be honest sometimes the actor just plays into it, i am biased after all. With that being said: LETS GO.

Not on this list but very VERY cute:

I love Porchay, Tinn and Gun, and i know the actors are all 18 now, but when they where Filming they were all minors, so are thier caracters. It dosent matter to me that i am not much older. Tinn , Gun and Porchay go in the cute folder and stay there.

14. Hia YI (Cutie Pie)

I knew i would end up with one of the Hia-Squad Guys on this list. in thhe end it is Hia Yi, I personally find him a bit more atractive then Lian but it also breaks my heart how gultiy he still feels for Diaos accident. I think he cares so much that sometimes he doset know how to act what makes him distant, wich is the reason he only manages spot 14 on this list.

13. Leo (dont say no)

So first of: i was todays days old when i found out Leo und Fiat are a support ship in Tarntype but anyway ... i like leo, he is lovabale, cute, supportive and can man-handle you if wanted. What puts him a bit down for me is how just accepting he is sometimes, like have your own willpower if you just do what i say , i feel like i am taking advantage of him.

12. Price (Sky in your Mind)

I think i am kind of simmalr to Prince, we would get along, ofc i am not an aristocratic heir, but i am studying to be a teacher, i love being around kids and i have a more gentle personaltiy, this is also the reason he is not higher, i dont think we an really chalange each other to grow. but he is probably the most cute canditate on this list. and he will always be.

11. Kinn (KinnPorsche)

And here my bias beginns.... Kinn is probably the worst boyfriend on this list if you ... you know not wanna die. But he is my Bad Boy, the one who would burn the world for you, would kill for you, and still would be kind to you and you only. He is gonna leave his mafia Life behind for you (like he wanted to for Porsche) and GOD i am sorry but Mile is so fucking atractive its unfair.

10. Sky (Love in the Air)

If i wanna have sky on this list i gotta kind of disrigade his Trauma, cause i know i would not be able to take care of it at this point of my life, i dont know if i could handle it, like Pai can for example. But if we talk about his looks: i mean sky is very pretty and i find him very cute in casual cloth. His Personality also seems very entertaing to be around, he can be fun,cute, sassy and seems highly intelegint so you can have a good conversation with him. Sjy biggest "downside" is how he sometimes just forgets to communicate with people that care about him, wich could become pretty anoying i imagainen.

9. Akk (The Eclipse)

I will say this is the point where it just into who is my typ the most (maybe with one exeption), but that being said i love the eclipse and you will find Akks other half even higher on this list (just because he is more my type xD ) but akk is someone so incredibly sweet, he of course hase the brainwashing problem that has to be dealt with but as we can see as soon as his views get challenged he shows how much he cares, you can also see this side of him earlier with his friends, so i think Akk is just gonna get goofier with time.

8. Win (Between us)

I don’t really know why i need Win on this list, but everytime the WinTeam, Into you, edit comes into my YouTube autoplay i just fall in love with him again. Of course it has to do with the fact that bourn is a very handsaome guy, but also how deeply he cares, not only for Team but for his siblings, and friends. He ofcourse has his own problems, than again who doesn’t. Also i can’t explain why but i find swimming extremely attractive. Don’t judge me.

7. Sound (My School President)

So sound is just cute, i would like someone to court me so respectfully aggressiv like he is courting Win, sound seems distant at first when he joins the music club, but warms up to them and turns out to be kind of a goofball himself, he cares for them and even try’s (to no success) to hide his wrist injuries so to not worry them. I think by now my type kind of shows himself: i am really into men who can man-handle me but in a very respectful way if you know what i mean, and i feel like sounds just fits so perfectly on that description.

6. Gaipa (Moonlight Chicken)

So Gaipa is kind of cheating myself, because as already mentioned with Akk , Akks second half will be a bit later on this list, and big surprise if i like Aye , Gaipa is really not that far away, after all to no one’s surprise they look the same. But i could have done this with multiple people on this list so why Kaipa? I just think the way Gaipa showed his love for Jim is so lovely to me. His food is his love language and i feel like he is getting absolutely robbed by Jim, He knows Gaipa likes him and just ignores him.He is kind, thoughtful and so desperately in love with Jim that i can’t do anything but feel sad for him being stuck in between where he is. When he loves you he gives you his all. I am interested to see how his story will progress and maybe he will be even higher by the end of Moonlight Chicken.

5. Pat (Bad Buddy)

So when i tried to decide if i want Pat or Pran higher on this list i had a rough time, I think my problem is that their characters shine in their Relationship with each other the most. So i think separating them takes away a lot of it. But we are not here for deep analysis we are here for my Valentines Shitpost. And i think Pat is fun entertaing and very Handsome, maybe to me even a bit more Handsome then Pran to me. But i think he would clash why harder in many regards. I would like to keep it lowkey and i need my life to be organised so i think Pat and i could have fun but we would clash and challenge each other a lot.

4.Pran (Bad Buddy)

As mentioned it was a close race for fourth between Pat and Pran and eventho i personally find Pat a bit more Handsome i think personality wise i would match better with Pran. I like his artsy side a lot, and my god i don’t know why i didn’t say that when talking about Sound earlier but my god Men that can play gituar and sing me to sleep just double their attractiveness. I also like how organised he likes to be and his a bit more (at least compared to Pat) slow and gentle personality. Pat is an all in lover wich i can respect but i have a bit more respect for Pran, he loved Pat for so long without knowing how to convey his Feelings or if they even ever had a chance, that man truly loves and if he does he does so for a long time.

Before my Top 3 : so those three i shuffled around like 5 times while making this list and i still feel like the list changes every other minute. But i love them all so much and god if one of them wants to become real and date me , hit me up

3. Parpai (Love in the Air)

Okay so to start this of: i think Fort ( or parpai, take it as you want) is incredibly attractive. I started watching BL cause i saw a picture of him in the Viki Preview of Love in the Air. That is also one of the reasons Parpai is so high on this list, he just holds a special place in my heart. But also if you ignore his first not so respectful aggressiv courting at the beginning you get a very green flag. He cares and communicates so much, he makes sure his partner knows he is there for him and he sugar baby’s him (that is not needed tho) also something i said in my love in the air review is that before i saw Fort i never understood what it means when people say someone has gentle eyes but god damit i can see it with Fort. Everytime he looks at anything really he just seems like he could calm my worst moods pretty easy, if you wanted more what i like about Parpai i could write down Skys notebook here but you can just watch Ep.12 again and you will know. Parpai will be always one of my favourite characters.

2. Kim (KinnPorsche)

Kim is just as Kinn ealier Probably not a really good Option when looking for someone to date. His family just is a major Problem. He knows that too, just look at his broken Love for Porschay. But he is in anyway the Softer version of Kim. Yes he is in a very Dangerous Family but he is way less involved, He would also Kill and Burn the world for you but i feel like Kinn would burn it down first and then look for you and Kim would look first. And i said it before and i will say it again: MY GOD i love my sining guitar Players. The softness with wich Kim looks at Porchay makes my Butterflies have a dance party every time. Breaking my Character only Rule here the most i also gotta say that Jeff Satur is to me one of the most Attractive People out there. And if he is actually like he is portrait in Interviews and lives i would be super down to date someone like him. I fell so hard when he said his pet peeve are bully’s. It sounds so standard but most people have why more trivial things as pet peeves and bully’s i think is an incredibly sweet answer. Also the way and the patience with wich he takes care of the so much younger Barcode shows how lovable he is. BUT going back to Kim even tho dating Kim would never be free of danger i think he would do EVERYTHING to keep you out of it. because he loves you.

1. Aye (The Eclipse)

We had Khao on this list ealier where i didn’t say it but i think it is pretty clear that i think he is super Pretty and Handsome. He wouldn’t make the list twice if i didn’t think so. But why is does Aye win the Gold Medal and Kaipa doesn’t? First of i Personally think no one on this list full files Respectfully Man-Handling you the way Aye does. He is just so sweet, playful but sure of his beliefs and ideals, he is also willing to compromise to make his partner comfortable without letting them do the wrong thing. I can write a long list of words here what i like about Aye: Handsome, Funny, Kind, caring, Smart, Wilful, Loveable, committed. But i don’t feel like i do him justice, I can’t discribe what makes me love him so much. If you haven’t seen the Eclipse. Go watch it. Its really good. And Fall in love with Aye like i have. I also want to add that i think Khao does a great job acting, he is a very skilled emotional actor and makes you feel like you wanna cry when he is said but also makes you happy with him, wich makes Aye feel so alive.

How are you feeling today? I hope you didn't get a hangover, I did make sure that you were hydrated, after all. But still, I left some meds on your nightstand before leaving, so take them if you don't feel well. I wanted to be there when you woke up, but I noticed your fridge is almost empty so I'll be making a trip to the store. I'll be there soon though, okay? So wait up for breakfast, and dont strain yourself. You must be tired anyway, seeing as how much you had to drink last night.

Ah, silly me. You must be wondering when I came over, right? Because I'm sure that as far as you can remember, you fell asleep on Sunghoon's shoulder at the bar. You must be thinking he would've brought you home. But of course I couldn't possibly have left you all alone with him when you were in that state, no matter how nice of a person he is. I can't lie, it had hurt me a little walking out of the restroom only to see you getting cozy with him, or rather, it had annoyed me to think he might have been taking advantage of you.

But when I noticed you had given in to the alcohol and fallen asleep, I couldn't help feeling my heart soften at how adorable you looked. And so I had no choice but to swoop in and lend poor Sunghoon a hand, relieving him of his task of having to see that you reached home safe. But it's not like I need to come clean to you, is it, since the both of us know I'm the only one you can trust when you're so vulnerable.

That's right, baby. I'm the only one who should get to carry you to your apartment in my arms, I'm the only one who should get to have you snuggle into my chest and hold onto my arms as I tuck you into bed. I don't mean to come across as creepy or forceful, but I think you already know you can't trust anyone else as much as me to not do anything inappropriate when you're not in your senses.

I know I'm not wrong, because even if you don't remember it, I'm convinced that realizing you're wearing your favorite pajama shorts ought to tell you that I changed you out of your dress last night, and I'm confident that you know I would never do anything that would make you uncomfortable. After all, thus isn't the first time I've helped you out of your outfits into more comfy ones, and never once have you had to complain about my hand being anywhere it shouldn't be, no matter how agonizing it was for me to not touch you when you looked so beautiful.

Confused at that sudden confession? Well, a guy does have his needs, though you can rest assured that I'll never cross any limit with you unless you want me to. You have my word. But at the same time, we can't say the same for every guy out there now, can we? Yeah, Sunghoon might be a great guy to be friends with, but you can't just go trusting every other person to keep it in even when you've got your defenses down.

You can't go making yourself so approachable for anyone like that, Y/N, and it makes me worry about you. But that's exactly why you have me, the one who will always be there to keep you safe, away from prying eyes. Don't you worry, bub. I'll always protect you from danger, and I want you to know you're safe with me.

No, that's not all I want. I want you to know you'll be safe only when you're with me. I know it might sound weird or unbelievable right now, but trust me, it's the truth. so leg prosthetics au right? I'm a BIG FAN of all the duality in trigun so I feel like it would be really cool for there to be that contrast between different elements of vash's backstory and his injurys. since vash lost his arm to knives protecting plants and humans ,showing his dedication to peace and love and also his self-sacrificing tendencies, I really like the idea of vash loosing his legs in a similar way, but at the hands of humans.

[ok imma give this a quick lil content warning cuz it's kinda body horror/generally kinda messed up? so yeah readers discretion advised keepy yourself safe 💜]

what if plants have a natural instinct to give? we've seen that they're sentient, so it would make sense for them to have some kind of reason to just chill in tanks and let humans take advantage of their abilities. hence, plants naturally want to give. and vash, being a plant, isnt exempt from this. he gives himself away in everything he does. bending over backwards for everyone he meets, even to the point of snapping his own spine. never complaining, never asking for thanks, or even thinking he's deserving of it.

so what does a young vash, tiny and alone and reeling from the crash, from his brothers betrayalmurdersin left me, nai left me alone, I have nothing he took everything Iwannagohome, tiny vash, so alone, so desperate to atone, come across a town. a town that's plant is dead he couldn't save them, not himself, not the ships, not rem, not nai. if he'd been betterfasterstongersmarter . . . their plant is dead they killed it. the last run. he'd seen it. he knows they did. he can't say no, their plant is dead and soon they will be too and it would only be for a little while, just to get by, please we need your help he sees the way their smiles don't quite reach their eyes. sees how they're tears arent quite real. he tells himself it doesn't matter. this is his atonement. his punishment he says yes. he says of course. he says I'll help however I can whatever you need.

it's to late for a mechanic. they need a plant.

he says yes anyway. they wouldn't right? they'll be kind.

theres no room for kindness when people are so thirsty.

he's to tall to fit in the tank. so they make him fit. generators don't need legs.

he's there for so long. vash loses track of how long he's in the tank for. days? weeks? years?

his marking spread. feathers molt off generators don't fly

they clip his wings. generators dont need to run, fly, walk.

they get another plant, eventually. he's still in the tank.

they said they'd let him go. it's fine. it's ok. they must still need him, populations gorow after all. he ignores his sister screaming in his head. he tells her it's fine! they need me here more than I need to be anywhere else (he'd rather be anywhere else. he wants to go home. he doesnt want to do this anymore but he hastohastohastogivegivegivegiveGIVEREPENT)

he learns to breath liquid. he learns to float and provide and it's ok. its not. he's getting weaker and weaker. he can't give what they're asking

his sister is dying. it's his fault if he was betterfasterstonger he could take the burden from her, make more, GIVE more. he doesn't think about how he's already giving everything how they've taken everything

his sister is dying. they don't realize it yet he can help he can save her he knows he can he's done it so many times it's all hes good for all he can do heneexstohelplethimhelplethimhelpherplease.

for the first time since they put him in here, vash cries. he pounds the glass with the only limb he has left weak and atrophied from disuse weak just like the rest of him uselessuselessuseless. when his arm gives out he uses his head. banging the glass, filling the tank with red red like geraniums red like the last run red tanks mean death death deathmurder nai

they don't listen. his bubbling screams in the tank are distracting apparently, so they muzzle him.

he watches as she dies. his sisters last run fuels their holiday light show.

vash cries. his tears lost in the fluid of the tank.||

more time passes. the plant operators get bored. they've never had an independent before. they want to research. they want to open, cut, understand.

more time. floating. creating. being sucked dry, not that vash would think of it that way. he CAN'T. can't think of it that way, it would mean it was all for nothing. it would mean nai was right. it would mean they leftfoughtbleddied for nothing oh god what has he done, what have they done

nai comes to town. vash can feel him, in his mind, in their bond. he tries to tell his brother to run.

nai hears his brother. his twin. his angel. his other half. in a nowhere town in this forsaken desert. he hears vash cry, beg nai to leave. he tracks his angel down, finds the plant operation. he sees the tank. he sees the angel floating.

he sees vash smile.

how dare they how dare they WHAT HAVE THEY DONE HE KNEW THEY WERE GREEDY AND CRUEL AND ABHORRENT BUT WHATHAVETHEYDONE

Millions Knives razes the city to the ground.

vash cries for them. for the monsters that did this to him.

vash begs their forgiveness

nai knows then and there, his brother will never take his revenge on these parasites because that's what they are. they were given the blessing of an angel, and they tore his wings off. like the legends of old, humans would always be Icarus, flying to the sun by any means necessary, clipping others wings to fly themselves that much quicker to their meaningless deaths. they forced nais brother to be their wings, so knives will be the hellfire that melts their wax and throws them to the damned earth they came from. no, vash won't take revenge.

so millions Knives will do it for him.

before we get to the actual lore, i will explain their family and the reason for some of their traits. (parents explanation copy pasted from nyx relationship list):

!! NYX'S FAMILY !!

nyx's father - TW PEDOPHILIA AND EMOTIONAL ABUSE: nyx's father keeps switching between a loving and caring father to someone with severe angry issues and an extremely mean person. other times, nyx's father implies to romantically like nyx. nyx thinks themself as wothless and useless, due to the fact their dad forced them to follow his orders and to please him, making nyx feel like theyre in the wrong one for feeling negative. one time, they cried infront of everyone as a kid for being forced to run and their legs hurt, their father only cares about how people looked at them weirdly. as a result, nyx has an incredibly low image/self esteem of themself, and them being easily attached to people who show the least amount of care for them. nyx copes from this by using humor and repressing their feelings. ( though, they break down easily. ) nyx doesnt know what to feel about their father, due to their fathers extreme mood swings but they know that in any way, there will always be a side where they hate him. theyre traumatized on how brutal the Warriors of Hope killed their parents, but slightly grateful for it.

nyx's mother - TW NEGLECT OF EMOTIONAL/MENTAL NEEDS: nyx's mother is a self-centered person who works in a cosmetic company. she usually uses nyx as the model for her make-up company, even if nyx insisted that they dont feel comfortable being a model. nyx's mother multiple times force nyx to do her wishes, prioritizing her needs over theirs without permission from nyx themself. nyx's mother forces nyx to go out often. and everytime nyx tries to refuse, she will try to make up an excuse on why they have to go or try to guilttrip nyx by telling them that theyre so 'selfish' for not fulfilling her needs. nyx's mother often blames others over her own mess, making her a person who thinks that she is always right. nyx hates her, and is extremely uncomfortable by her. even if they were traumatized of how brutal the WoH killed their parents, but theyre slightly grateful for it.

nyx's brother: the only one in the family that nyx actually trusts. nyx's brother is a 3rd year highschooler who is pretty strict towards nyx and obedient towards their parents, nyx's brother actually took care of nyx unlike their parents. nyx is grateful for him. they're traumatized on how brutal the WoH killed their brother, and doesnt really forgive them for killing the only one that cared about them at the moment.

!! TRAITS !!

- nyx is pretty self centered and is excessively interested in themself, due to the fact that they never really had anyone to talk to friendly in their elementary to middle school times. this leads to them being seen staring at mirrors and talking to themself a lot. they also talk a lot about themself and their interests to the people they really trust or people who are interested in them.

- nyx is easily attached to the people who show the least amount of care towards them, due to the fact they never really got much attention from the people around them. they will cling to people and try to start talking to them, but most of the time the other person started it, because nyx is awfully socially awkward.

- nyx has a severe abandonment issues, since WoH taken nyx as their second servant. this is because they have experienced their parents threaten to leave them if they disobey. monaca gains from this so nyx doesnt try to betray her.

- nyx has a trigger on being called useless, as it triggers how their parents view them whenever they make a mistake or "made a fool out of themselfs". they try their best to be useful to avoid being helpless to people.

okay, were gonna go to the actual lore now

- nyx in pre-udg was a student from the Hope's Peak middle school, taking from reverse course. they werent accepted through the Ultimates Hope's Peak academy due to the fact all of their talents were taken by other ultimates, leading them to end up in the reverse course.

- before the tragedy started (when reverse courses were brainwashed to mass suicide and... dying people in general), nyx and their family decided to travel to towa city and stay there for 2 days as vacation or.. whatever you call it.

- nyx and their brother was dragged into their parents bedrooms in the hotel. they were both pretty annoyed by it, but obeyed anyway. when nyx was drawing and doodling, a... child? the pink haired child broke in and killed their parents and brother by slitting their head off, nyx was frightened as they back away from the pink haired girl, expecting for her to kill them.

- but, for some reason, when the pink haired child turn their head to look at nyx, her eyes sparkled. she ran to nyx and took their hands into hers. nyx was confused, but abides anyway.

- the girl introduced herself as Kotoko Utsugi, and in the next second, kotoko found nyx cute! so she... recruited them to be a part of warriors of hope? at first, nyx declines by shaking their head 'no' profusely, but uh... they ended up being the second servant for monaca.

- due to being with warriors of hope, they started to believe that adults are all bad, before they met nagito. at first, nyx was hestitant that theyll serve monaca with him, but ends up opening up to him later in UDG.

- since nyx cant really fight, nyx is a servant to serve the Warriors of Hope in terms of food, drinks, etc etc

- for some silly moments, kotoko almost drowned nyx <3 kotoko sunked nyx's head deep into the water to see how long he can breathe underwater

- nyx in the end of UDG, nyx did end up escaping from monaca, the WoH and nagito helped them

Favourite Movies of 2022

It's almost the end of the year; which means it's the perfect time for me to look back at the awesome things of 2022. Over the next few days I'll be compiling lists for my favorite movies, shows, games and music I had the pleasure to endulge in over the last 12 months, beginning with the motion-picture category. You could call it my oscars? (please dont) I took 45 new releases I had the opportunity to watch and simply chose those which stood out to me, those which I never stopped thinking about, those that have stayed imprinted on me.

So sit back, relax and take a look at my 7* favorite movies of the last year. ↓

The Batman

What a movie! If there was one must see movie for me, this entire year it was The Batman. Being a huge DC fan, I was always going to be looking forward to a new take on the caped crusader, but hearing Matt Reeves (the man behind the Planet of the Apes trilogy) was inspired by Se7en and Zodiac, it couldn't come soon enough. The Batman is unlike any previous incarnation before it. It's real. It's gritty. It's dark and brooding. Roberts Batman is angry, rough and emotional, something the movie's villain (portrayed briliantly by Paul Dano) uses to his advantage. My memory of this movie is it's tone. The red hue's running through every scene. That eerie, drum heavy score that never let's up. And THE batmobile; a character in on itself (a scene I wont forget anytime soon). I can't wait for what this team come up with next, but even if it fails to deliver I am thankful I got to experience this at the start of this year.

Top Gun: Maverick

Top Gun: Maverick was always a movie I was going to see. The first trailer sold it to me immediately. Knowing the madman that is Tom Cruise would probably be doing all of this for real, was the icing on the cake. Having seen it though... this is cinema!

Unlike many other movies that really win me over with their story, Maverick was pure emotion for me. I only really remember 3 scenes but those 3 scenes made me feel things that shouldn't be allowed at a movie screening. Mach 10? 😨 Tom Cruise deciding to break the Mach 10 speed limit with a crazy futuristic jet. Pure adrenaline, with some of the most beautiful scenes of the entire movie. 2m 15s of ego 😲 An exquisite display of pure skill by Maverick. From the jet tickling the mountains on it's side, to Maverick pushing the jet past its boundaries while threading a bomb through the eye of a needle; I don't think I took one breath during the entire scene. OOF. Jet jiu-jitsu🤯 The best way to describe this scene is. Imagine if Tony Hawk knew how to fly a fighter jet and it was possible to do a 180° kick-flip using one. And then it happening. It's a must watch.

RRR*

RRR* is absolutely bucknutty. This 3+ hour extravaganza was probably the most confused I've been all year. A B-movie with the confidence and swagger of the best blockbusters of yesteryear. A movie that can't be described, only experienced. With that, I'll simply jot down some of the highlights one might expect when watching RRR* - Man fights tiger 🐯 - Man vs a 1000 person rebellion ⚔️ - A shoot-out with a one man on anothers shoulders while wielding guns 🔫 - Saving a child, while diving off a bridge with a flag 🇮🇳 - Walking underwater 🤿 - Animal fight club 🦁 🆚 🐯 🆚 👨 & I'm sure there are more that I can't remember. I know I'll be rewatching this regularly, but will you?

Bullet Train

They say immitation is the sincerest form of flattery and Bullet Train directed by David Leitch (of Deadpool 2 and Atomic Blonde) fame delivered a Guy Ritchie inspired, non-stop action thrillride. Bullet Train is entirely driven by its witty dialogue and awesomely convuluted story, fronted by a madcap cast of characters. Among the crop we have Lemon 🍋 and Tangerine 🍊 (brothers) that just happen to be assassins (crazy ones at that) with a love of Thomas the Tank Engine. The movie knows when to be funny and when to simply mesmerize you with an awesome set-piece. It's over 2.5 hours long but never feels like it, quotable for days and has Michael Shannon. What more could you want?

Nope

I cant remember much about Nope, but I do remember the unnerving feeling I had while watching it. Jordan Peele crafts a delightful story thats the right amount spectacular as it's creepy.

The way the narrative is presented as a mystery that was initially hidden in plain sight really worked for me; with the reveal of the alien being only the beginning. Yet it was Keke Palmer and Daniel Kaluyaa that really sold the film for me (playing brother and sister) and how their relationship and trust in one another evolved throughout the film. It was so cathartic seeing them succeed right at the end. From the allegories to the metaphors, Nope is a movie you need to watch and let simmer in your mind - only then will you know how you feel about it. For me it was well worth my time.

The Menu

I think Kitchen Nightmares might be masquarading as The Menu. The most recent film on this list, was one I knew little about and little did I know how much I would enjoy it. The premise is simple. Ralph Finnes plays a world renowned chef, who happens to invite a select few guests for his new tasting menu. From there the story unravels like an onion, with each layer taking us deeper and deeper into the sinister underbelly of this restaurant. Each character; from the start-up bros, to the down on his luck actor to even the staff members give us a peak behind the curtain and the maddening that ensues. The less you know the better but be ready for a mighty good time.

Decision to Leave

Like clockwork... there it is. As the year was coming to a close, no korean movie had really grabbed my attention in the last 12 months; but then came Decision to Leave. This movie, quite honestly had me confused. I watched it across 1 night in 2 parts, having to rant and rave to @the-loose-braies to try and compute what I was watching. The creative acrobatics Park Chan-wook had to do in this movie (with his cinematographer and editor) deserve a round of applause 👏. Every transition and every scene are delibrately constructed, with the director using reflections and camera trickery to constantly shift our perspectives through the two main characters, even changing the color grading based on mood (without any of this ever looking out of place). This is the first time since watching Mr. Robot where I actually became engrossed by the DIRECTION of a movie. PCW somehow managed to craft a movie, that essentially is a love story, but tac on some deliciously violent fight scenes, chases, clever comedy and poetic dialogue. It's the one movie this year if regularly thought about and that says a lot. If you havent watched it, give it a watch as its well worth it. *At this moment in time I'm yet to have seen Broker or Glass Onion so they might sneakily be added to the list at some point.

How the hell did Kotoko almost drown Nyx-

With the Nyx’s backstory similarities with the warriors of hope, I hope they rescued them after Monaca was taken down

I just want them to heal together 😭

Does Nyx ever meet Toko and Komaru? And in the end, is she saved by Future foundation (like after they capture Nagito to put him in the Neo program)

How do they meet Teruya? Are they connected to class 79?
