There is No Light : Releasing September 2022
After a global catastrophe, the remains of human civilization built a new religious society among the ruins of the desolated underground. They have forgotten the light of the sun and now are blindly following the New God β The Great Hand. Once every few years, The Hand comes down to the people of the Central Station and takes away the chosen newborns to the world hidden behind the gates of the Sanctuary. The Hero embarks on a dangerous journey through this hostile world to find a way to open the gates and bring his child back.

So I live in Alaska and it's barely five o'clock but because it's Alaska it feels like it's 9-10p.m. due to how dark it is outside and it feels like I am honestly tripping balls. Like, I was so ready to go to sleep half an hour ago only to look at my phone and it to be 4:30. Alaska winters (and summers) really do be doing something to your brain's internal clock and you'd expect that as someone who has never set a foot out of Alaska to be used to it by now but no.
Anyways sorry for the rant.

This shit had me despondent and downtroddened. In this game, a couple is beaten and the wife is taken away for a ritualistic sacrifice, or rather, her unborn child is the sacrifice. This fucking game showed him punching and hitting the ground when he hears dialogue of the "knights", who took his wife and child, talking about how the child will be sacrificed to an unknown entity, to appease that entity so that everyone may live happily.
It literally shows him, punching and hitting the ground, this was shattering to watch. To top it off, he becomes a version of a monster later on in the game, finds out that everyone's been living underground, but never gets his family back. The part that got to me the most was the baby part...that's horrible.
