yes yes characters doomed by the narrative always slap BUT what about characters saved by the narrative? characters who have already given up hope and don't know they have a happy ending? characters who believe they are a lost cause, characters who feel irredeemable, characters who think there's nothing left for them, but the narrative does provide a way out? what about the characters who don't expect anything good, who don't even remember how to wish for it anymore, who get the things they need anyway? what about the characters who actively run from being saved getting saved in a way they can't stop or control. what about being saved by the narrative!!!

"bro's been a hater since day 1 blablabla considering the fact that he 'ate' his twin" However, he indeed, did not do that consciously as a malicious intent of survival and/or ending any competition. In fact, he didn't even 'eat' him like how people eat food.

What happened with the Ryomen twins is a case of the 'Vanishing Twin syndrome'. If one of the two foetus fails to develop properly it gets absorbed by the other twin foetus and the mother's body. Often the underdeveloped twin gets partially absorbed by the developed twin which often leads to appearance of extra appendages on the living twin.

Apparently shortage of proper nutrition to the mother could serve as a potential reason in causing one foetus to not develop properly and therefore get absorbed by the other.

Considering the Heian Era (1000+ years ago), medical science was probably not that advanced and therefore when a child was born with 4 hands and 4 feet, 4 eyes as well, it's pretty obvious that people called it a monster and despised it.

Therefore it is highly possible that Sukuna was fed the idea that he 'ate' his sibling inside his mother's womb, from a very young age(the reason why he said 'ate' in a malicious tone). There's no way a foetus has any memory of what they did inside the womb. He was probably told that he has always been a sinful cursed child since day one, and of course no body wanted him.

Idk judge me for it but considering everything he could have gone through as a child, INCLUDING that fact that he had immense cursed energy which solidified the people's view on him being a demonic creature, he really might turn out to have one of the saddest backstories in the series. Toji was at least regarded a human, albeit not one with Cursed energy. As for Sukuna, I doubt the people around him even considered him one.

With the reveal that Jin is the apparent reincarnation of Sukuna's twin or whatever, I'm now really curious about the relationship between Jin and Kenny

Yeah, me too. I thought maybe Kenjaku used that memory manipulation technique they put on Shino also on Jin, but not to make him believe they're Kaori like some theorized, but to bring back his memories from when he was Sukuna's twin. His "babies remember more than we think" makes me believe that he definitely must remember something, be it through Kenjaku's meddling or maybe he was always vaguely aware of it and Kenjaku just brought it to the forefront. If Jin remembers Sukuna, then he would have more reason to go along with Kenjaku's whole plan, help them out even and it would explain his intense wish for a child. Honestly my ideal scenario because this would mean that Kenjaku didn't manipulate him much, certainly not through some illusions, they simply got him to comply by telling him the truth about who he is and what happened to him in the past. Maybe he always felt like something was wrong with him or something was missing and Kenjaku gave him an answer. Would make their relationship much more personal and a bit more equal.

Also, he always gave me weird vibes in the flashback. He looks strangely obsessive the one time we get a good look at his face. The shading emphasizes it even more. He doesn't even really smile. Knowing what we do now, I think there's definitely more to him than just a guy who misses his wife and really wants to be a dad. It also gives him protecting and defending Kenjaku a new dimension and makes it even more clear that he is very much aware that they are not Kaori (as we could guess before because Jin never actually calls Kenjaku "Kaori" and doesn't react to Wasuke bringing up her death). He's not just being delusional or hanging out with them out of sentimentality for Kaori, but Kenjaku could've actually helped him or significantly changed his life, so he might feel some fondness for them for that. He would also of course disregard what his father is saying because Wasuke most likely doesn't know the whole story and might just seem ignorant from Jin's point of view. Or at least he was ignorant at this point, he must've found out more later, which was the reason he tried to warn Yuuji about his parents.
